Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost Review

Scooby fans the day has finally arrived the newest Scooby-Doo! movie is finally here and you guys know what means i'm here to talk about it. This is a movie that alot of fans have been excited for since the first trailer came out and I was one of them so here we go with my review of Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost.

The plot of this movie is The gang make a mistake when solving a mystery and choose to retire but as there selling there things an old friend gives them call and tells them that the 13th ghost has been found. That's really it in terms of plot but honestly that's all you really need and in my opinion the plot of this movie really does work it doesn't assume you watched !3 Ghosts it gives you enough information about that series and puts into one fun story.

As the scooby regulars we have Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo and Fred Jones , Grey Griffin as Daphne Blake , Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers and Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley. The regular voice cast do a really good job in this movie I can't really say anything bad about this cast because of the fact that there all really good actors.

In terms of guest cast we have Maurice LaMarche as Vincent Van Ghoul, Bernie Alan, and Vance Linklater , Noshir Dalal as Flim Flam and Nolan North as Asmodeus, Mortifier, and Farmer Morgan. In terms of what I thought about the acting from the guest cast it was really good altho I have t9o wonder why they didn't get Susan Blu back to play Flim Flam since she is still alive and working. The only minor issue I had with the acting is the fact that I didn't like Maurice LaMarche's impersonation of Vincent Price but that's just my opinion.

The animation was handled by Digital eMation and I can't really find anything on this company so I can't really say if they've worked on anything else or if this is there best work. I can say tho that the animation seen in this film is honestly really good there's a lot of great fluid movement in it and even the 13th ghost himself looks really good. There is a downside tho and that's the fact that for some reason all of the characters have this shine to them which just looks weird and kind of of-putting.

When a new Scooby-Doo movie gets announced there's never any kind of response from casual fans but for some reason when the trailer for this movie got posted alot of people were talking about it. When I say alot I mean alot there's was a ton of people of twitter all talking about this film and even websites that don't usually post Scooby-Doo news were posting about this trailer it was both weird and awesome at the same time. The last time I think the internet went this crazy over a straight to DVD movie was the infamous Tom & Jerry Willy Wonka movie so to see it happen here but only in a positive light was odd for me.

Much has been said about how this movie is the finale to The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby-Doo and it honestly does kind of feel like that. I say kind of because of how long it took for this to come out it also feels like a reunion episode and that really wasn't something that I wanted I wanted something that finished of that storyline but I didn't want to spend alot of the movie catching up with certain characters because it added nothing to the overall story.

I know that this is going to make alot of Scooby-Doo fans unhappy but a key character in The 13 Ghosts series was Scrappy Doo and he's not even in this movie. He does get referenced but it's done as part of joke and that just felt wrong to me since he was a key character so it would have made sense for him to appear in this movie. He got the star treatment compared to Weerd and Bogel who in case you forgot were two ghosts who would constantly try and stop the gang from recapturing the ghosts because they weren't even mentioned at all in this movie.

I have to give the film around of applause because they somehow managed to make Daphne a bada*s i'm not even kidding she gets a lot of the most badas* moments in this movie. Not only that she also has a subplot with Fred since she was the leader of the gang in 13 Ghosts and Fred is usually the leader so the two have to come to an understanding and it was really interesting to see that play out because of the fact that I don't think the franchise has ever had a plot line like this in either the movies both live action and animated or the TV show.

For once i;m glad that there wasn't a mystery in this movie which I know sounds really freaking odd since it's Scooby-Doo a show based around solving mysteries. Here's the thing 13 Ghosts wasn't that was more of an action comedy show so it makes sense that this movie would instead focus on those elements rather then creating a good mystery altho just because this film didn't do one it doesn't mean that the rest of them shouldn't do it.

I'm going to say something that i've never said about any straight to DVD comedy and that's that this film actually had some good jokes. I'm not kidding this movie had me laughing alot more then what I thought it would be it references to other shows in the franchise or the fact that there's a running joke about people being afraid of teenagers there's plenty of good jokes in here and it makes me wonder why there aren't many like this in the other films.

Overall out of all the Scooby-Doo movies out there this one is the best one so far in my opinion this is a movie that both fans of 13 Ghosts and young kids can very easily sit down and enjoy. That said it is also a flawed film and I hope that i've mentioned some of those flaws with that in mind the film scores an 8 out of 10 from me.

My First Impressions Of Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs!

The Flintstones is a brand that's been around since the sixties and spans many TV shows , movies and specials so when news of a new series was announced I was pretty excited since i'm a fan. Well guess what just came online yup the very first episode of Yabba-Dabba Dinosaurs! and boy oh boy if you thought Teen Titans Go was bad or that Thundercats Roar looks bad trust me you haven't seen anything yet.

The plot of this first episode is Fred destroys Wilma's flowers and Bamm-Bamm and Pebbles go to this place full of out of control dinosaurs. To say that the plot is all over the place would be a freaking understatement first of why are Bamm-Bamm and Pebbles now like eleven years old they work better as little kids second why is there a place full of out of control dinosaurs since this is the stone age there's a lot of things about the plot that just don't make sense and the episode doesn't go out of it's way to explain anything these things could have been avoided the episode was twenty two minuets and not ten.

Take a good long look at these world class deigns because your not going to be seeing them for the rest of this post. Since for some reason whoever was in charge thought that all of the characters need to look really ugly and of putting and not cute and charming because why would you want iconic characters who have stood the test of time to look cute and charming that's just freaking stupid.

Now I can't find a complete cast list anywhere heck there's not even a Wikipedia page for this show so the only listed actors I can find are Jeff Bergman as Fred Flintstone , Kevin Michael Richardson as Barney Rubble , Tress MacNeille as Wilma Flintstone , Grey Griffin as Betty Rubble and Frank Welker as Dino. For some reason there's no complete cast list so for the life of me I can't say who's playing Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm I will say tho that there voices are freaking weird in this show tho. As for the actors playing The Flintstones and Rubbles there cast really well at least in my opinion but given that alot of these actors have not only played these characters before but are also really good actors that's to be expected.

This image right here is everything that's wrong with this episode and so far the whole show i've already mentioned the terrible character designs so let's move on to the fact that there trying to make this show hip and with it by having Dino dab. Yup if you wanted to see a fan favourite cartoon character dab then this is the show for you if you didn't then your just not cool and yes that was me trying to make a joke because The Flintstones was never made for kids it was made for adults so having dino dab is just stupid and it dates the show.

The animation for the show was done by Salty Dog Pictures who havn't worked on anything really of note and are an Irish company that's really all I could find on them. After seeing this first episode that's a good thing because my god is the animation in this first episode terrible if you thought the animation in Thundercats Roar looked bad then trust me you've seen nothing yet because at least the animation there looked finished. Here tho there's a lot of very stilted movements that look like they forgot to animate the inbetween stuff everything about the animation screams unfinished.

Now if your wondering why there's what looks like a water mark on these images it's because these images actually leaked online a few months ago and there the only images I can actually find. I have to again wonder why the heck did they age up Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm because they work better as little kids I don't know what age there meant to be in this show but so far it's not working.

I never want a cartoon to be cancelled before it airs but i've heard a rumour that this show is being cancelled. While that is indeed a sad thing because it would mean no more new adventures with The Flintstones it's also a good thing because they deserve much better then this show if anything I hope that this show puts younger views on to the original show just so they can see what The Flintstones was like at it's best.

Now I no that it seems like i'm dead set against this show but the truth is i'm honestly not since this is the first new Flintstones TV series in twenty three years with the last one being 1996's Cave Kids and the last Flintstones movie was 2015's The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age SmackDown!. If anything I want this show to succeed because it will say to executives that this brand still has life in it but the trouble is just of this first episode it's terrible and if something is terrible you should say so and you should say so even more when it's part of a franchise that has proven to put out good things.

Now I don't know if the first episode has officially aired on Boomerang or not since I watched it of Kimcartoon but if it hasn't and this is going to kill me to say it but don't watch it. That's something that i've never said before but that's how bad this show is so far yes it could get better and I hope it does but you only get one chance to make a first impression and this show has had it's one chance.

I really do wish I could make a comment on the jokes in this episode but I think that the creative team forgot to put any in because I didn't laugh once. That's a really bad thing because this is meant to be a comedy of course what makes me laugh might not make you laugh so there for you guys might find something funny but I didn't laugh once if anything I was counting down the minuets until the episode ended.

Overall like i've said just don't watch this episode if it's not up on Boomerang already i'll continue to watch it but only for the sole reason that I want to review it for you guys. This is a bad return of this iconic franchise and it's one that is best left in the stone age.

Scooby Apocalypse Issues 1-7 Review

Scooby fans I thought that since we are a few days away from the release of the franchises next direct to DVD movie that i'd take a look at something that I had been reading when it first came and still from time to time pick up and that's the recent comic book reboot Scooby Apocalypse so let's get jinky with it.

The plot of these first issues is that an outbreak has happend and it's forcing together five unlikely people who must now try and survive in a world where the monsters are not only real but deadly. The concept of the monsters being real is nothing new but how it's done in this series to me feels really fresh and unique I of course cannot mention the overall story because it's still on going but the fact that it's a bout a bunch of people trying to survive an outbreak to me feels like a rip off of every zombie movie ever.

While this book isn't the first in the still on going Hanna-Barbera Beyond line started by DC Comics it is not only the only one still on going but also the most successful of all the books. To me that's not only due to how good not only these issues are but also the rest of the book is it's also due to the fact that alot of people still love Scooby-Doo and since this book treats the characters with a lot of respect that makes alot of the older fans happy and thus they buy each issue.

Currently this series has well over thirty issues but sadly it's due to come to an end this April with issue thirty nine. Given how good the storyline is it's going to be hard for the creative team to come up with an ending that not only makes alot of sense but also satisfies the many fans that this title is sure to have. It's not like The Flintstones comic book which didn't have a story line this one does and it's a good one at that so they'll have to come up with something great to end this series.

If your a fan of Scooby-Doo then you'll know that there are some things that need to appear in whatever Scooby media and one of those things is the Mystery Machine it's as iconic as Scooby himself. Here however is where I have a huge gripe with the series because the way they introduce it in this world feels like pure fan service and nothing more they even go as far to have Velma call it the mystery machine that to me just wasn't needed we would have known what it was just from looking at it.

Speaking of Velma she's really cold hearted in these early issues and when I say cold hearted I really mean it I guess that does make sense in terms of the story but she's still a main character she still has to be likeable. I do love tho that she and Daphne don't really get along at the start that's something that I don't think has ever been touched upon in various movies or TV shows so it's great to see that Daphne outright hates Velma.

What is also really interesting is the fact that none of the gang really trust each other at the start apart from Fred , Shaggy and Scooby who seem to get on from the first issue. To me that's interesting because we've not had something like that since Mystery Incorporated and even then it was more of a side story where as here it's a key story point since the gang have to learn to get along in order to survive.

As you can no doubt tell from the above image the gang have a different look about them in this series and these early issues. I have to say that some of the new designs work I like the new look they give both Velma and Daphne Fred's looks hasn't really changed that much and the same for Scooby but the one character redesign I don't like is Shaggy to me his original design was perfect it perfectly summed up his character without having to say what his character was.

The series is written by J.M. DeMatteis and Keith Giffen and as far as the writing for these issues goes it's alot better then what I thought it would have been I was honestly expecting the writing in these early issues to be pretty bad but it's actually really good and it makes me wonder if the writers were fans of Scooby-Doo because of how good the writing in this book is and the fact that all of the characters are treated with respect that's not something you'd see if the person writing the book wasn't a fan.

Providing cover art for these early issues is the great Jim Lee with the books artwork being done by Howard Porter. I have no idea who Howard Porter is but based on this book I really like the artwork to me it really fits the world that this book is set in and it also honours the previous character designs by having having things like Fred dressed exactly like his original design or by having Shaggy in the classic green and brown combination.

This book is gory as hell i'm not kidding it's really freaking gory even tho the people getting shot to pieces aren't human any more you still see alot of blood and gore. I'm not honestly sure if I like seeing gore in anything from Scooby-Doo to me the two just don't go well together at all since Scooby was something that I grew up with so to me it's always this kid friendly show and franchise but on the other hand it does help sell the threat that the gang faces in this world.

For me the character that got the biggest upgrade not only in this series but also in these early issues is Daphne she was always one of the characters with the least amount of personality and that's something which recent shows and films have tried to rectify. but my god is she great in this series. Here she's the host of her own mystery show and when push comes to shove she also serves as the teams go to action girl she always has a plan and I really like that it's actually kind of refreshing.

Overall these early issues are really good and if this post does well I might look into doing the issues which cover volume 2 just because I want to see more from this world and for the first time ever i'm not going to give out a rating because this is the start of the story so there's no point.

Marvel Rising: Chasing Ghosts Review

Marvel fans while the company isn't releasing any new movies or TV shows just yet there is something new from the company and this was something even I forgot was happening. I admit I forgot all about this but that's because i've had alot of reviews to do so something was always going to slip through the cracks and since i've reviewed the other projects from the Marvel Rising series it makes sense to me to review this latest one and yes I will also be reviewing the other special when ever that comes out so here is my review of Marvel Rising: Chasing Ghosts.

The basic plot of this special is Ghost Spider is still on the hunt for whoever killed her friend and in order to help stop the bad guy she needs the help of the secret warriors. Yeah there's not much in terms of plot here and that makes sense since this is a twenty two minuet special but it also means alot of the story gets rushed and that makes me think why wasn't this the plot to the Marvel Rising movie since it would have worked better there.

All of the characters in this special are played by the same people who played them in other Marvel Rising projects. So starring in this special is Dee Bradley Baker as Lockjaw and Tippy-Toe , Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson , Kathreen Khavari as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel , Kamil McFadden as Rayshaun Lucas / Patriot , Tyler Posey as Dante Pertuz / Inferno , Cierra Ramirez as America Chavez , Booboo Stewart as Victor Kohl / Exile , Milana Vayntrub as Doreen Green / Squirrel Girl and Dove Cameron as Gwen Stacy / Ghost-Spider.

Yes I know that's a huge cast list and I know that i've not listed the person who plays the main villain and that's because I can't find out who played her. As for my thoughts on the acting as a whole for a twenty two minuet special it wasn't that bad I get the feeling that every single Marvel Rising animated project was recorded at the same time because the acting here is alot better then what it was in the shorts that got released last year but I could be wrong.

Now I have no idea who did the animation for this special but logic dictates that it was whoever did the animation both for the movie and for the shorts. If that is the case then I can say that I prefer the animation in the movie just because with the movie I felt like they actually had a budget where as here that doesn't seem to be the case at all. It's not bad animation by any means but it's not the best animation that has the Marvel name to it.

I said this at the start of the review but I feel like this story could have been better told if it was the plot of the movie just because it would have allowed the story more time to breathe but as it is it has to get to all of these plot points pretty quickly. I understand that in the movie they had to set up the secret warriors but that could have been a story running along side this one but what do I know i'm just a guy who watches alot of movies and TV shows.

This special in my eyes was so poorly promoted I only found one teaser for the special and nothing else. That to me is a bad idea since it says that Disney is just banking on the Marvel name alone and as was proved with Solo you can't really do that you need to let people know that you have this thing coming out otherwise again as was proven with Solo they just won't watch it so i'm hoping that the next and so far final special gets more effort put into it's promotion literally anything will do just as long as people know that it's coming out on a certain date.

Now I don't know if you've noticed this or not but the above picture isn't from the special it's actually from the secret warriors movie. That's because there actually aren't any images from this special released I should know because as i'm writing this review i'm searching Google for more images I can use again this comes down to poor marketing if Disney marketed this special like they would a feature length film then all of what I said wouldn't be an issue at all.

Since this is a superhero special set in the Marvel world that means we have to talk about the action in the special. Honestly the action like alot of things in this special including the humour is very lacklustre it's not bad by any means but it's not good either not helping is the fact that we don't get to see alot of the action a fair amount of it happens off screen and that's not something you want in an action special.

They spend a fair bit of the special building up this special move that the warriors are learning and in the third act when they start to do it even tho we find out that they pulled it of we never see it that's just bad story telling right there and it's something that should have been seen since it was part of a sub-plot.

Overall this special like the action was very lacklustre just everything about it that could have been average is average except from the acting so thank god the next special is going to be forty four minuets because it really does need to be close to an hour to tell a good story this special scores a 4 out of 10 from me.

Some DC Characters Who Should Get There Own Animated Show

Ok guys and girls you all know i'm a huge comic book and animation fan and that i've done plenty of posts combining the two in the past. So I thought that for this post it would be fun for me to list of some characters that I think should get there own animated show before I get started tho I want to get this out of the way alot of these characters will most likely have already had there own animated series but because the characters are so interesting that they deserve another one.

Suicide Squad

I honestly think that this could be a rather fun series especially if it's airing on Adult Swim just because for this group of characters you need to be on a more mature network. What will also help the show is the fact that alot of the characters are now thanks to the movie quite well known yes not all of them are house hold names but there's a lot of characters that adults would know. I admit I have no idea on what kind of format the show should take but I do think having one season long storyline in this case mission would help.

The Flash

Quite frankly i'm shocked that DC doesn't have an animated Flash show in the making given how popular the character has become thanks to The CW series. There have been plenty of animated movies featuring the character and he was in the animated Justice League series but there's never been an animated solo series for the character and for the life of me I have no idea why that's the case since it would be very easy to make a cool Flash show and heck if you want to tie it into the Arrowverse you could by having all of the characters played by who ever plays them on those shows.

Catwoman

This one might be a little bit tricky to pull of since she is both a hero and a villain but it's not impossible and if done right it could make for an entertaining show. I think that the best place for this show would be the DC streaming service just because this show could very easily be a flop and no network wants a show that might flop but if you get the right team behind it and the right cast then you could be looking at something special and it could very lead into my next choice.

Gotham City Sirens

This is a fairly new team on the DC block for those that don't know the Gotham City Sirens is a team made up of Catwoman , Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. As far as I can work out the team mainly takes on the mob and that could make for an entertaining mini series and given that Harley Quinn already has an animated coming out this year if that does well and if they do a Catwoman series they could have a nice little universe going on here.

Batman

There's already been a ton of Batman animated shows in the past and they'll know doubt be a ton more in the future but I think that he should get another solo show because then they can really dive deep into something so few Batman media has ever touched. That is the scarred Psyche of Bruce Wayne heck the only piece of Batman media I can think of that's even gone near there is the animated movie Mask Of The Phantasm and to me that's shocking because there could be a ton of stories you could get just from that angel alone.

Wonder Woman

Again this is really shocking because Wonder Woman a character who's been around since 40's has never had her won animated series oh sure she's been in plenty of animated projects but never a solo one. This was something that I thought would change once her solo movie came out and blew everyone away but nope and I have to wonder why that is she's a great character so why not give her her own show.

                                                                         Jessica Cruz

This might seem like an odd choice since she's a very new character but given how popular the character has proven so far you just know it's only a matter of time before she gets her own show. Jessica is a character who like Wonder Woman has appeared in various animated projects and i'm calling it at some point in the next ten years she will get her own movie and hopefully her own animated show.

Anyways guys this has only been some of the characters that I think should get there own animated show. I know alot of you right now are typing where's this character and where's that character but I urge you to look at the title and i'm not saying all of these shows will be hits but if there done right and have the right team behind it then I see no reason why these characters can't have there own shows.

Harley Quinn And Her Gang Of Harleys Review

DC fans we've been getting alot of Harley Quinn movie news recently and I thought that for a change instead of reviewing a movie or TV show i'd review a comic book featuring Harley. You can see by the title which book I chose and honestly it's not that good of a book but it is a fun way to pass a few hours so without dragging this introduction on two long here is my review of Harley Quinn And Her Gang Of Harleys.

The plot of the book is that Harley has hired some people to be in a gang with her with the aim to help make New York safer but something goes wrong and Harley ends up being kidnapped now it's up to the gang to find there boss and friend and put a stop to this madness. Story wise I felt that the book was very Harley like only she would put a gang together to help protect new york only for it go wrong but that being said the story isn't as good as it perhaps could have been.

As you'll know by the name of the book Harley Quinn isn't the only star of this book heck even go as far to say that she's more of a minor character. In my eyes the actual main characters are the gang of harleys themselves which all have names which rime with Harley Quinn heck even the the character descriptions at the start of the book do a better job of explaining the characters then the actual book or story does that's how you know it's pretty bad.

I have to say the idea of Harley having her own team is a good idea and it does open the door to alot of ideas. However how this book handles that idea isn't that good imagine if the whole book was about them coming together as a team to take on some big bad and all the time Harley is there just getting angry at them that to me would seem like a funny idea because Harley in my eyes wants a team like the Justice League but instead she's getting a lower level Justice League.

Writing this book is Frank Tieri (Old Lady Harley and Gotham Underground) and Jimmy Palmiotti (Friday The 13th , Deadpool Family and alot of Harley Quinn books). First of as a horror fan I had no idea there was a Friday The 13th comic book but in terms of this book the writing is fairly decent it's not the best which is a shame because as I mentioned one of the writers writes alot of Harley Quinn books so you'd think he'd know the character and what works for the character.

In terms of the art we have Mauricet who only hasn't worked on that many books and one of the books they have worked on is the unneeded Dastardly & Muttley comic book. Yeah I can see why this person hasn't worked on that much because the art work in this book isn't that good it's not bad by any means but it could have been so much better there's quite a few off looking drawings all the issues I have with the art could have been fixed with a quick re-drawing but I guess the artist didn't want to go the extra mile.

The villain of this book is the greatly named Harley Sinn and if you couldn't tell by the name she's a fan of Batman only kidding she's a fan of Harley Quinn. As far as I can work out this is one her earliest appearances and judging by some research I did she appears in other Harley comics I mention this because she is one of the best things about the whole series. She is just so freaking insane like for example she makes all the people that work for her wear colours similar to Harley and she even kills one of them for almost hitting Harley that is pure insane right there.

I have to wonder tho why the heck does she have a face that's similar to the joker when his face was stitched on? that to me just looks weird. Now i've just praised the villain but now it's time to dot the opposite because she has very little motive literally her main goal is I think to make Harley fall in love with her it's not really made clear on that front nothing about her plan is made that clear they might make certain things more clear in future issues but in here there's quite alot left unexplained.

This mini series came out in 2016 and ran for six issues and from what I can work out it was a monthly series. Thank god this was only a short series because the plot really doesn't work well for a six issue series so if they made it longer that would have meant that we would have got a lot of filler if anything this series should have been at least three or four issues long since that would fit the story perfectly.

What honestly shocked me was the fact that Harley Sinn's father looks exactly like a certain President who i'm not going to mention because I don't want to start a political war. I'm not even kidding in fact not only does her father look like this person but the first time we see him he's on a news station called wait for it Faux News that is just so freaking perfect and I would have been so happy if the series was just lampooning this person.

Since this is a Harley book that means we have to talk about the jokes in this series to put it simply there's a lot of unfunny jokes in this series. Don't get me wrong there's some good jokes like for example Sinn's dad once you see who he's based of is a good joke and even Harley gets in one or two great one liners but there's a lot more unfunny jokes in the series then there are funny ones which for Harley is a bad thing.

This is also an action book and that means we have to talk about the action contained with in it and in this case the action is really good. Of course it doesn't have any super powered fights and i'll admit that was a bit jarring for me personally since i'm used to reading books where that's the case but once I got over it I found the action to be pretty exciting and perfectly suiting for this book since alot of the characters get there time to shine and yes one of the characters is basically Barbra Gordon.

Overall this book does have a lot of issues with it and I think i've covered them all but in my eyes it's also a fun book if your a Harley fan you'll be disappointed that she isn't the main character in her own book but there's plenty of Harley to go around and so this book gets a 5 out of 10 from me.

Gen:Lock First Impressions

OK Rooster Teeth fans i've just finished watching the second episode of the companies newest show and as you might have guessed by the name of this post this is only my first impressions of the show. Which basically means it's not going to be as detailed as my reviews usually are so let's crack on with my first impressions of Gen:Lock.

Now since there has only been two episodes released I can't really say what the story but I can say that it does involve some kind of alien invading earth. At least that's what I got from it anyway I will also say that the story does seem alot like Pacific Rim to me just with the whole giant fighting robot thing and yes I know that that idea isn't exclusive to that film but it is one of the more recent films to use that concept.

Acting wise we have the likes of Michael B. Jordan as Julian Chase , Dakota Fanning as Miranda Worth , Maisie Williams as Cameron 'Cammie' MacCloud , Golshifteh Farahani as Yasamin Madrani and current Scrooge McDuck actor David Tennant as Dr. Rufus Weller. So far the acting has been pretty solid if you've seen any of these actors in anything else then you know what to expect from them acting wise.

As you'll know by the list of people that i've just mentioned this is pretty much an all star cast even for Rooster Teeth since alot of there voice actors are usually people who work for them. I think they were able to attract such big names because of the fact that not only do they make some good stuff but also because Michael B. Jordan as well as starring in the show is also producing it and he is a big name actor so if he's involved then you know that alot of other name stars are going to get involved.

I can't say for sure if Rooster Teeth is a good animation company since the only other thing of there's i've seen is the mega hit RWBY and Nomad Of Nowhere. I can say tho that so far the animation seen in these first two episodes blows away anything seen in either of those two shows i'm not even kidding the animation here so far is freaking fantastic i'm not sure what budget they had for this show but it must have been pretty big.

Also being really good are the action scenes which to me is nothing new since the action scenes in RWBY are always a joy to watch. So seeing great action in this series to me is to be expected heck even the big action scene in episode one kind of reminded me of alot of action scenes in various anime and I think that's because Micheal B. Jordan is himself an anime fan so it would only make sense that the action scenes be that good.

Overall so far this looks like it's going to be a great show but of course only time will tell if it is or not. I'm not going to say if it'll be as big as RWBY because that would be a stupid thing to say at this point but it is a show worth watching.
