Saved By The Bell: Wedding In Las Vegas Film Review

There are some shows and movies that just scream nineties and well the movie that i'm about to review today is one of those movies. It's also a movie that has for some strange reason been lost to the sands of time which is weird because the 2020 reboot of the show openly referenced this movie and so then join me as I review the movie that should have served as the end to this franchise with the movie in question being called simply just "Saved By The Bell: Wedding In Las Vegas" enjoy.

The plot of this movie is teenage sweethearts Zack and Kelly are about to get married if only they can pay for the wedding. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty OK at best as the film adds in another plot line which just isn't needed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Zack Morris and Tiffani-Amber Thiessen as Kelly Kapowski. Also starring in this film is Mario Lopez as A.C. Slater , the late Dustin Diamond as Samuel 'Screech' Powers , Lark Voorhies as Lisa Turtle , Liz Vassey as Carla , Spencer Rochfort as Curt Martin , Mark DeCarlo as Freddie Silver , Melody Rogers as Mrs. Melanie Morris , John Sanderford as Mr. Derek Morris , the great Dennis Haskins as Mr. Richard Belding , Elizabeth Berkley as Jessie Spano , Bob Golic as Mike Rogers , Kiersten Warren as Alex Tabor , Gilbert Gottfried as Bert Banner , Pat Corley as Sheriff Myron Thorpe , Marianne Muellerleile as Diana Beaujolais and Richard Schiff as Deputy Dano.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. As Saved By The Bell was one of those shows that was never known for having great acting in it and so to expect this film to have high quality acting in it would just feel weird and really oddly out of place for this franchise.

For those of you that don't know this film is a follow up to the final episode of Saved By The Bell: The College Years. With the events of this film having been set up in the final few episodes of that show however you don't really need to have seen that show all that much as apart from one scene at the end and one at the beginning there's next to nothing that connects the movie to that show and while yes it would help to least watch those last two episodes it's not really a must watch as this film doesn't tie up an of that shows storylines at all.

In what was a shockingly common trend for movies that featured teen sweethearts getting married in Las Vegas this movie also has a mob story. Which is just unneeded as it adds nothing to the overall plot of the movie and is there just have a car chase scene and nothing more then that which makes me wonder why they bothered to include that plot line in the movie as the main plot line is what the fans of the show are here to see and it's that plot line that alot of people who even had just a passing interesting in Saved By The Bell are here to see.

This movie really should have been the finale for the franchise as a whole as the whole hook for this franchise was the whole will they won't they relationship between Zack and Kelly. With that now settled and all of the characters having moved on to the next stage of their lives there was no need for that dreadful spin off Saved By The Bell: The New Class to even happen as this film already gave us a satisfactory conclusion to this world and to these characters and so there was no need to produce a spin off show without these characters that people had really come to love at this point in the franchises history.

This film just looks and feels cheaply made which does make sense as this was a made for TV movie but at the same time you still have to look expensive. You can tell that this movie was cheaply made because they make it really obvious when their a stunt person and they have some really obvious dubbing for those scenes as well and on top of that the opening credits look like the type of thing that someone would put on one of their home movies and not something that a major network like NBC would have on one of their movies.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty five minuets and fifty three seconds. Which for a film like this one is pretty much the exact running time that you'd expect it to have and to this films credit it does make the most that it can do with that running time however they really could have expanded upon the main plot and given the returning something more to do then just a cameo near the end of the film all by removing the pointless mobster subplot but I will admit that this film does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then since this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty OK at best. As this film does have some jokes that will put a smile on your face but at the same time his film features alot more bad joke in it then it does good jokes in it in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall if this film was the end of the Saved By The Bell franchise it would have been a very serviceable end but as it is it;s just a decent film that's a time capsule in to the nineties and nothing more then that in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Saved By The Bell fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful Google Images since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on Google Images are all fairly high in quality and as well as being really fairly freaking high in definition.
