My SPOILER Filled First Impressions Of The Live Action Loki TV Series

Marvel fans Marvel is really freaking spoiling us with all of these new shows all of whom have all been premiering pretty freaking soon after the previous TV series ended. Well now we have yet another live action TV show from Marvel with the show itself being set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and so join me as I give you my SPOILER filled first impressions of the latest Marvel TV show with the TV show in question being called simply just "Loki" enjoy.

Now then here is where I would normally give the plot of this debut episode and as well as give my thoughts and opinions on the plot of this debut / premier / first episode. However I really have no idea what the actual plot of this episode even is because this episode is so insane that it honestly is really hard for me to work out the actual plot of this episode even is and I honestly really do love this show because of that fact.

Starring in this episode and in the rest of the show is Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer. Also starring in this episode and the rest of the show is Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15 , Eugene Cordero as Casey , Derek Russo as Hunter U-92 , Mumkhshur Bolbaatar as A Gobi Villager , Josh Fadem as Martin , Raphael Luce as French Boy and the legend that is Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius.

As for what I personally thought about the acting that's featured / presented to us in this very episode well in my opinion anyways / at least the acting that's featured / presented to us in this very episode is really freaking good. With all of the actors that are starring in this episode all do a really good job of portraying their respective characters with a special shout out going to Tom Hiddleston who is just simply to watch in this episode.

Doing the CGI for this particular episode and possibly for this entire show we have FuseFX , Industrial Light & Magic , Lola Visual Effects , Luma Pictures , Method Studios and Stereo D. Now while there isn't that many CGI creatures in this particular episode the exterior backgrounds for most of this episode are fully CGI and it's those CGI backgrounds that I want focus on because you rather rightfully don't notice the CGI in those backgrounds but I honestly do feel that the CGI backgrounds do look good but I will admit that you can tell that they just filmed the actors on a blue screen because the composition just doesn't look right for some reason and yes the one CGI creature that we do get in episode looks good and the overall quality of the CGI is really good in my opinion anyways / at least.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I wasn't quite sure if this counted as a spoiler or not but since this actress wasn't announced as being apart of this show I thought that it was worth putting her in the spoiler section of this post because lending her voice and joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe we have voice acting legend Tara Strong as The Voice Of Miss Minutes. Honestly I was so shocked to see that Tara Strong aka one of the many voices of Harley Quinn and the voice of Raven from Teen titans and Teen Titans Go among many other things was joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe and honestly as a fan of Tara Strong I cannot wait to hear more of her in the Marvel Cinematic Universe / MCU.

As to be expected this show does take place directly after Loki's escape from New York in Avengers: Endgame and yes we do see where Loki went to directly after he escaped from New York in Avengers: Endgame. In all honesty I really like that this show is set when it is because it means that we now get a question answered from Avengers: Endgame with that question being where did Loki end up after he escaped from New York and how does his escape from New York effect this new timeline which judging by what's said in this episode it looks like / as if Loki will at somepoint be returned to New York to set the timeline right but I could be wrong tho.

Now then the character of Loki des actually make a good point in this episode since in this episode the people in the Time Variance Authority capture Loki for supposedly breaking the laws of time and yet while he's being held in court for his alleged crimes he brings up the Avengers time travelling shenanigans. This is honestly a good point and even tho the episode does put in some rules that make what the Avengers were doing seem good it still doesn't change the fact that all of the Avengers broke the current timeline and thus created a new timeline which as stated in this very episode is a very big no no.

I will very much admit that this particular episode did get a few good laughs out of me like the fact that the people in the evidence room use infinity stones as paper weights is a good joke. However this episode leaned far to much on the comedy aspect of the show and not enough telling a good story or even setting up a good which is fine for a first viewing but it also means that this episode isn't going to be very rewatchable since there's very little to no plot about this actual show that's started in this episode and bits of the overall plot that we do infact get aren't given as much attention as they perhaps should have done.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This episode really didn't do a good job of setting up what the overall story for this show will be since they only bring up what could possibly be the overall story for this show a few times but even then it's in passing and as such I have no idea what the main story for this show even is. However I will admit that it could be fun seeing Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson just bounce of each other however since this show is only going to be six episodes long I really would have liked it if they started focusing on the main plot of this show right away since they don't have the amount of episodes to justify having filler episodes.

This episode has a total running time of fifty minuets and nineteen seconds which I honestly feel is about the right amount of running time for this episode. Simply because there really isn't a story being told in this episode and as such it would have been pointless to even attemt to make this episode one hour or even longer then one hour long but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now then boys and girls this show is listed as an action show on Wikipedia and on IMDB however there is very little to no action that's actually seen in this very episode. However with that being said however what little action we do get is very passable which I guess is to be expected from but at the same time the action that's been seen in other Marvel Cinematic Universe properties has always been really good and so it's a shame to see the action in this particular episode just be OK at best.

Overall this was a decent debut episode and I can honestly see this show doing rather well but it's very difficult for me to say if this show will get as many die hard fans as Wandavision did tho. Now then i've talked about both of the good and well as both of the bad things that are in this debuting / debut episode in this very post however since these are only my first impressions of this show i will not give this show a rating since any show can have a good first episode just like any show can have a bad first episode and so it wouldn't right or even for me to judge an entire show just based of off the very first episode alone.

As for where I got all of images that I used in this post well then boys and girls and ladies and gentlemen I got all of the images that I used in this very post from Google Images and the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page. With my preferred website to use to get images from this show and this episode being the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page just due to the fact that nearly pretty much all of the images that are on the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page are al fairly high quality and as well as being fairly high definition.
