He-Man And She-Ra: A Christmas Special Film Review

He-Man is a franchise that for the longest time was good as well dead however back in it's eighties heyday. They released the one thing that alot of media aimed at children seems to do and that's a christmas special which is well and truly something that needs to be seen to be believed and so then join me as I review the film that brings both He-Man and She-Ra together with the film in question being called simply just "He-Man And She-Ra: A Christmas" enjoy.

The plot of the film is after some earth kids are accidentally transported to Eternia it's up to both He-Man and She-Ra to get them home before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really chessey but in a good and rather fun way in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is John Erwin as He-Man / Prince Adam and Webstor and Alan Oppenheimer as Skeletor, Man-At-Arms and Zipper. Also starring in this film is Linda Gary as Teela and Queen Marlena , Lana Beeson as Alicia , Melendy Britt as She-Ra / Princess Adora, Mermista and Catra , George DiCenzo as Hordak, Bow and Cutter , Erika Scheimer as Peekablue, Perfuma and Mother , R.D. Robb as Miguel and this films executive producer Lou Scheimer as Orko, King Randor, Swift Wind, Spikor, Two-Bad, Modulok, Kowl, Rattlor, Horde Prime, Father and Multi-Bot.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films cast all turning in some very decent performances which given that alot of tbem are reprising theirrolesfrom there respevtive shows isn't all that surprising at all.

Doing the animation for this special is I think the legends and the greats that are currently over at Filmation Associates. Ñow then interms of what I personally thought  / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad but at the same it wasn't that good either since you can an awful lot of reused animation which just made this film feel alot cheaper that what it actually was.

What I personally found to be rather odd is that they chose to make Skeletor a hero character by the end of this film. By having him basically learn the spirit of Christmas which was just so strange since this film is basically just an extra long He-Man and She-Ra episode and so wouldn't it have made more sense to have a character like Orko be the one to act like a hero instead of the franchises main guy.

To be frank the whole idea of a He-Man and She-Ra Christmas special is just a bit strange since to my knowledge neither character has celebrated holidays native to their own planets. As such having them celebrate Christmas just seems weird and out of place as is the fact that they just randomly teleport some kids from earth since they very easily could have learned all about Christmas from Queen Marlena since she is as far as I can tell from earth anyways so that would have alot of sense instead of putting two innocent kids lives in danger for literally no reason whatsoever.

This film is corny in all of the right ways but also in all of the wrong ones as well like having Orko be the main character for this film for literally no reason whatsoever. I'm not kidding either like when Orko and the two earth kids get back to Eternia Orko adds nothingvto the overall plot and is there just to tell bad jokes and nothing more then that I get that this is Christmas special and as such you want it to appeal to kids but He-Man and She-Ra already appeal to the kids and even so if your going to make an annoying character like Orko the main character then have him be actually relevant to the overall plot of the film and don't just relegate his role in the plot for really quite literally no reason whatsoever.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly forty four minuets and twenty four seconds. Which a He-Man and She-Ra extended episode is quite a bit on the long side even more so when you take into account all the twists and turns that the plot takes all of which feel like filler and so I see no reason why this film couldn't have been the standard twenty two minuets long.

So now then since this is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Altho this films action did start to get little repetitive at times tho which means that this films action did also start to get pretty boring as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
.

Overall while this film is a decent enough watch it's also a film that is just so weird and bizarre and that is something that works both for and against this film as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film really does erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 our of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official He-Man fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful Goole Images since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on Google Images are all fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
