WWE Wrestlemania Backlash 2022 Review

Wrestling fans it's been a good few months since I last did a wrestling review and well then I thought that now was the absolutely right time to make another wrestling review. I have to admit that I was seriously considering not covering this show but since this show has a slightly small running time I thought why the heck not and so then join me as I review the 2022 edition of the PPV that has a terrible and pointless name with the freaking PPV in question being called simply just "Wresstlemania Backlash" enjoy.

So then it's really hard to say what the main storyline going into this show even is since there's no big storylines happening right now. Which is a huge issue since it doesn't give us the audience a reason to watch this show and this is something that should be fixed going into every single WWE PPV and yet unless it's one of the big four PPVs it's something that is still a very big issue and it's one that badly effects this particular in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

The stage for this PPV to me is alot like the Wrestlemania 35 set in that it's just a big giant screen and nothing more then that. Which is such a shame because WWE then the WWF used to create such memorable stage's for their PPVs and yet these days they just seem to use the exact same set for every single WWE PPV which just doesn't make sense and it's not being done to save money because of the fact that the WWE has been making money for the past few years and so I have to assume that it's just due to pure laziness which is never ever going to be a good thing indeed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

If I were in charge of coming up with the set designs for the WWE PPVs I would have just done a twisted version of the set that they used for this Wrestlemania. Since that then would fit in with the entire theming and naming of this show and it would make the name make some kind of sense but as it is this set just comes across as being flat and not all that interesting which really isn't what you want from a show that's called Wresstlemania Backlash since you'd at least want an interesting set to look at during this show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This show is a prime example as to why the WWE needs to bring back WWE Sunday Night Heat since there are matches on this card that would have been better of on that show. With those matches being Bobby Lashley Vs Omos and Happy Corbin Vs Madcap Moss since neither of those two matches are main card worthy and if they did bring back Sunday Night Heat then they could have the storylines from the main shows continue and run all the way through the entire PPV in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Whoever thought that putting Omos Vs Bobby Lashley on the main card of this show needs to be fired since this match was just a nothing match. Heck you could have done this match on an episode of Raw because that's how flat and boring this match is and heck i'd even go as far as to say that this match is the worst match on the card nd all of that comes down to the fact that Omos is still green as heck in the ring and is still someone who can barely move in the ring but I will admit that pairing him with MVP was a good idea tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

What was really weird about this show is the fact that there was only one championship match on this entire card. Which when you have Roman Reigns killing it as champion and you have several other superstars also killing it as champion it makes you wonder why they didn't have alot more title matches on this very card heck a 24/7 championship match would have been something but nope for some rather odd reason the WWE chose to just have the one championship match which is a rather odd move to say the least in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

The booking for this show was all other the place since following on from the stupendous Smackdown Women's Championship match we had Happy Corbin Vs Madcap Moss. Which is the very definition of a toilet break match heck if anything the Smackdown Women's Championship match should have been the second to last match on the card with the Happy Corbin Vs Madcap Moss match being up first since then we could have at the very least have gotten a pointless match out of the way first in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this particular PPV has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly two hours and fifty three minuets and forty seconds. Which while that is a long time for what in this case is basically a glorified house show this shows running time really didn't feel like it was all that long but I would have liked it if they didn't broadcast adverts for the next two PPVs tho since those weren't really needed at all but heck I get it you have to sell tickets so I guess those adverts were there just to sell tickets but you could have done just by having the PPV graphics show up on the bottom of the screen tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this show is a wrestling show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual wrestling that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual wrestling that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad for the most part. With the best match in this show being the Smackdown Women's Championship simply just due to how brutal that match was and how painful every move in that match looked in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this show wasn't that bad but that's also the issue because when we do get to something that brings this show man do we feel it which is such a shame because when this show gets something right it really does get it right in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this very review and as such that means that this very show erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Pro Wrestling fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful Google Images since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on freaking Google Images are all fairly freaking high in freaking quality and as well as being very fairly freaking high in definition.
