Doctor Who: Rose Review

Doctor Who fans it's been quite a while since I last did a review of an episode from modern Doctor Who. Since I mostly like to cover the classic episodes of the show and well then I thought that now was the absolutely right time to cover an episode that we all owe alot to since it's the episode that saw this show return to our TV screens and so then join me as I review the episode that saw a British icon return to our TV screens with the episode in question being called simply just "Rose" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is Rose Tyler is just an average teenager who finds herself caught up in the middle of an alien invasion and with the help of mysterious alien has to find a way to stop the alien invasion from happening. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad with this episodes plot doing a very good job of setting up the characters and telling a genuinely good story in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Christopher Eccleston as The Doctor , Billie Piper as Rose Tyler and Camille Coduri as Jackie Tyler. Also starring in this episode is actor , writer and director Noel Clarke as Mickey Smith , Mark Benton as Clive , Elli Garnett as Caroline , Adam McCoy as Clive's Son , Paul Kasey as an Auton , David Sant as an Auton , Elizabeth Fost as an Auton , Helen Otway as an Auton , Alan Ruscoe as an Auton , Holly Lumsden as an Auton , Saul Murphy  as an Auton , Jo Osmond as a Child Auton , Lisa Osmond as a Child Auto , Elen Thomas as a Auton and the great Nicholas Briggs as the voice of The Nestene Consciousness.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. Which for a first episode isn't a bad thing since it does show that these actors have alot of room to grow and to improve which of course they do over the course of this first series in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the CGI for this episode is of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at The Mill. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad for the time that it was made but looking back on it now it's pretty bad with with the Wheelie Bin scene being a prime example of just how bad this episodes CGI effects are nowadays in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This episode does of course feature the debut of every single main and minor character for this first series an well then I have to admit that I really did like Rose Tyler in this episode. Since she was just like an average teenage girl who is just trying to get by day to day life and that made her character in this episode seem very real to me and it's something that I want to see brought back in the next series of Doctor Who as it's a sure fire way to get alot of new fans into this truly iconic TV series in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

I have to admit that I really did like that this episode had it's fair share of humorous moments which made what could have been seen as a very dark episode seem alot more dark. Which for the first episode of a new series espically one that's not been on the air for literally decades at this point is also a great way to introduce new fans into this show as it gives them permission to laugh at what's going on and it then makes the more dramatic moments all the more important and the more triumphant moments all the more important as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

I have to admit tho that I really didn't like the Ninth Doctors TARDIS Interior since to me it just doesn't suit his character. Since this character is just coming of off being in a very gruesome war and so then his TARDIS interior should be alot more stripped back think steampunk but more war like where as this design is alot cheery and that really shouldn't be the case at this point in time in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this episodes running time even was I do know that for a fact that this episode an exact grand total running time of roughly forty four minuets. Which for a debut story of both The Doctor and the companion is a great running time since this episode doesn't really need to spend that much time in reintroducing The Doctor and so then alot of this episodes can be more focused on telling a good story and in setting up the companion in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this is an action episode that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With this episode having some pretty good action all of which helps to serve the plot of the episode and to add something to the characters which is a very freaking good thing indeed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this episode was not a bad debut episode for both the new companion ad the new doctor since this episode does do a good job of letting us what both of them bring to the partnership in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review Wikipedia , the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful Google Images since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on freaking Google Images are all fairly freaking high in freaking quality and as well as being very fairly freaking high in definition.
