Scooby-Doo fans the day that we have all waited for is now finally upon us as the TV series that has taken the internet by storm for all of the wrong reasons has finally finished airing. I want to it known that i've watched every single episode of this terrible show just so that I could bring you all this review and so then join me as I review the show that alot of people agree is really bad with the show in question being called simply just "Velma" enjoy.
The plot of this show is two years after her mother disappears Velma tries to find her and solve the mystery of who is killing teenagers. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad however the shows plot was very badly written and very badly paced out tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Starring in this show is this's shows executive producer Mindy Kaling as Velma Dinkley and Constance Wu as Daphne Blake. Also starring in this show is Sam Richardson as Norville Rogers , Glenn Howerton as Fred Jones , Russell Peters as Aman Dinkley , Sarayu Blue as Diya Dinkley , Melissa Fumero as Sophie , Jane Lynch as Donna Blake , Wanda Sykes as Linda Blake , Gary Cole as Lamont Rogers , Nicole Byer as Blythe Rogers , Scooby-Doo and voice acting legend Frank Welker as William Jones , Cherry Jones as Victoria Jones , Stephen Root as Sheriff Cogburn , "Weird Al" Yankovic as Dandruff Tuba , Fortune Feimster as Olive , Yvonne Orji as Gigi , Shay Mitchell as Brenda , Debby Ryan as Krista McRae , Ken Leung as Darren and Ming-Na Wen as Carroll.
Noe then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. Since this shows cast is quite clearly trying to turn in a good performance but the issue is that this shows scripts are so bad that they give none of the actors nothing to work with interms of what their characters personalities are.
Doing the animation for this show is a little known stupid that is currently known as Studio IAM who really haven't worked on anything at all. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty for the most part really bad however when we get to Velma's hallucinations the animation gets really good.
Velma in this show is just really unlikable with her being somebody who only cares about herself and how to archive her own goals. Which really doesn't help the character at all since it makes her unwatchable because lets be honest who would even want to watch a show where the main character is really unlikable and what makes this even worse is the fact that she doesn't change or even grow over this shows ten episodes either since she's still a really unlikable character by the end of the shows final episode.
I'm going to keep this review spoiler free but we do get to find out who the main killer is and let's just say the reveal is pretty bad. Since it comes out of nowhere and the reason as to why this person is the killer makes no sense as it's something that wasn't even hinted at it all which is something that a good mystery should do and when this show does focus on the mystery since for some strange reason they have episodes that don't focus on the mystery they very rarely if ever give you a clue as to who the actual killer even is.
This show does every single member of the Mystery Inc gang dirty since Daphne is made out the stereotypical pretty girl and nothing more then that , Fred is made out to be the stereotypical rich kid and nothing more then that and Shaggy isn't even Shaggy. It really does astound me as to how they manage to get every single Mystery Inc member wrong even more so when you take into account that this is a Scooby-Doo show that doesn't have Scooby-Doo himself actually in this show at all all of which leads me to wonder who is show even for since it didn't please Scooby-Doo fans and it didn't please none Scooby-Doo fans.
Now then this show has / had ten episodes all of which where around exactly twenty four to twenty eight minuets. With this episode count being great for this show since it means that we don't have to watch that many episodes of this show however I would have liked if this show had shorter running times since that would have forced this show to focus alot more on it's actual plot and not give us pointless episodes that add nothing to the overall plot of the show but as it is we get a ton of filler that just isn't needed.
So now then since this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that good. Since while this show does indeed have some slightly funny moments those moments are very quickly followed up by alot more bad jokes all of which are really and painfully unfunny in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
Overall any hate that this show has gotten is well and truly deserved because it's that bad of show so don't make my mistake and watch every single episode of this show because there's nothing to gain from this show at all in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this very review and as such that means that this very show earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 3 out of 10 from me.
