Batman Ninja Vs. Yakuza League Film Review

When people think of animated Batman films the one film that people don't think about is Batman's first ever anime film Batman Ninja. Yet the sequel to that film has just been released to very little to no fanfare which is to be expected as these animated direct to DVD Batman movies don't get talked about all that much but when even the people who love anime don't talk about this film then it makes it feel all the more special as it's like you've discovered something for the first time and so then join me as I review the film that alot of people most likely forgot was even a thing in the first place with the film in question being called simply just "Batman Ninja Vs. Yakuza League" enjoy.

The plot of this film is one day after the events of the previous Batman and Robin discover that Japan is missing and hidden in time and so have to travel to a hidden in time Japan where they have to stop a mostly evil version of the Justice League and restore Japan to it's proper place in time. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as it's aa plot that fully embraces the fact that it's a comic book movie and just has fun with that fact and while the plot of the first Batman anime film wasn't that serious either in this film it felt like it was kicked up a notch and because of that this films plot is a really fun plot to see play out in this film but at the same time tho this kind of plot isn't one that works best with the Batman character as when you think of Batman you think of him having to solve a crime and not him trying to restore a country to it's proper place in time as that feels more like a Superman plot and with the new Superman movie coming out this year it would have made sense for the plot of this film to revolve around him and not around Batman as it's plot that does feel a bit to far fetched for this character but would be perfect for a character like Superman or even any Green Lantern for that matter with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Joe Daniels as Bruce Wayne / Batman and Aaron Campbell as Clark Kent / Kal-El / Superman. Also starring in this film is Annie Wild as Jessica Cruz / Green Lantern , Benjamin McLaughlin as Barry Allen / The Flash , Bryson Baugus as Damian Wayne / Robin , Cyrus Rodas as Arthur Currey / Aquaman , David Harbold as Alfred , David Matranga as Jason Todd / Red Hood , Houston Hayes as Dick Grayson / Nightwing , John Swasey as Ra's Al Ghul and Yakuza , Karlii Hoch as Harley Quinn , Molly Searcy as Diana Prince / Princess Diana / Wonder Woman , Nathan Wilson as Tim Drake / Red Robin , Scott Gibbs as Joker , Andrew Love as Ubu and John Gremillion as Commissioner Gordon.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. As all off this films actors do turn in some really good performances in this film which was shocking as alot of them are a bunch of really unknown voice actors and as a result of that is the fact that it would have been very unwise to expect good performances from any of them in this film and yet that's exactly what they give us with a special shoutout going to Joe Daniels as Bruce Wayne / Batman as he does make for a pretty good Batman with him putting on a pretty good Batman voice with him even managing to turn in a good performance as the character but with that said Karlii Hoch as Harley Quinn just doesn't work at all not due to how the character is written or acted but rather because of the fact that the previous film had regular Harley Quinn voice actor Tara Strong play her and to recast her in this movie just feels like a complete and total downgrade which is not a knock on the actor playing her in this film it's just that Tara Strong is one of the best voice actresses going and so of course anyone who plays Harley in this movie is going to always be compared to her with the acting that's in this film really being helped by the fact that this film script is just so good that all this films actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing the animation for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Kamikaze Douga. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad but at the same time tho this films animation wasn't all that good either as while it does have all of the detail that sets anime apart from western animation it also lacks that extra special something that sets anime apart from western animation as while this films animation isn't bad any stretch of the imagination it's also something that could have been done alot better if they just stuck to either doing it fully 3D CGI like what they did in the Godzilla anime films or if they just stuck to doing traditional 2D hand drawn animation as this film looks like that it's trying to do both as there are scenes that do look 3D but then they have 2D explosions happen in the exact same scene and it creates this disconnect between us the audience and the film as there two styles of animation that just don't go well together and while both styles of animation work well enough on there own combing the two is something that doesn't work and if you want an example of good animation in a DC anime then you need look no further then Suicide Squad Isekai which went with the fully 2D style and just with it and while the show has it's own set problems it's animation certainly wasn't one of them.

What does make this film feel alot more fun is the fact that it does get to show us some different designs for members of the Justice League. Alot of which do fit there character really well with Aquaman , The Flash , Green Lantern and Superman all wearing Kimono's that are colored after there main hero colors  and Wonder Woman wearing something that does look like a Kimono as well but not emblazoned with Red , Gold and Blue with instead being brown with small bits of white at the top and bottom but the biggest and most fitting costume change goes to Harley Quinn who in this film wears a traditional Japanese school girl outfit which is just so out there and so wild that it perfectly fits her character as it's something that her character would indeed wear just for the fun it with all of the heroes looking good in there villainous outfits but at the same time tho the film really doesn't all that much with them as the villains and a result of that is the fact that it feels like that the members of the Justice League were only turned evil just for marketing purposes as them being evil has very little effect on the plot of the film and instead felt more like an after thought alot of the time when something that's this cool and this interesting should have been the main focus of the film and not something that the film doesn't nothing cool or interesting with in the first place as the whole idea of them being turned evil would have been more then enough to carry the whole film but for some strange reason the makers of this film wanted to include Ra's Al Ghul as the films main villain which while that is good to see him getting some love from Warner Bros it makes the whole idea of the Justice League being turned evil alot less interesting or impactful either.

While this film does have some bad things for it it also alot of really good things that are going for it as well. Like the fact that this film does actually have alot more humor in it which does make the film feel very tongue in cheek with one of the films best jokes being the fact that when Alfred is showing the Batfamily and Batman how to fly this new plane that he's built for them he does so by showing an anime inspired how do training video complete with seventies or eighties inspired animation and song which gives the whole video the look of it being from a mecha anime with it even coming complete with it's title card which was just so funny so much so that I had to rewind the film just to watch that entire segment over again and then they bring it back in it's own unique way by having Diana be in a romance style anime opening this time taking inspiration from either the nineties or early two thousands romance anime only for them to then turn it on it's head by giving Harley the microphone to sing the rest of the rest of the theme song which granted wasn't as funny as that Batman training video joke but it was something that does show you that the makers of this film knew that they were making a comic book movie anime and so they just decided to lean in to it and just have fun with those kinds of ideas and that is something that does make the film a whole lot of fun to watch as for alot of the time this film is super serious which is fine as that is something that does work for both mediums but at the same time tho it's also nice to see them lean into the idea of this film being a comic book movie that just so happens to be an anime movie as well.

While this film does give Harley and Diana a romance anime inspired joke there not meant to be a couple in this film. With them being nothing more then friends and that does make for an interesting dynamic between the two characters as in alot of media these two characters never really share the screen and very rarely the page together and yet here they are in his film having entire scenes together and seeing them just talk to each other is more then enough to want to see more of them together as they do make for an interesting pairing with Diana being the kind of character who thinks of every single outcome before she even takes a single step and Harley just being a complete and total whirlwind of destruction it does make for an odd couple type of pairing and it's one that Warner Bros and DC would be smart to get using as there are alot of stories that you could tell with both of those characters being just good friends and nothing more then that and heck given the fact that Harley is pretty much an anti-hero now in the comics anyways it would make sense for her to team up with Diana be it as a member of the Suicide Squad or solo on her own adventure and while yes the new pairing would take a while for some people to get used to as we see in this film there pairing is one that can not only give us comedic gold but also give either character some good dramatic moments as well and while granted neither character gets a big dramatic moment in this film that's more due to the fact that they don't really need one in this film but in say an episode of the Harley Quinn TV series or perhaps even a comic book then they could have those big dramatic moments that would work for either character as both characters have been through alot of stuff.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running tie of exactly one hour and twenty nine minuets and four seconds. Which is pretty much the exact running time that you'd expect a film like this one to have and to this films credit it really does have the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time but at the same time tho this film really does use it's running time all that wisely as the film doesn't really take the time to flesh out it's versions of the various Justice League members nor does it take the time flesh out Ra's Al Ghul either as while we do get to find out why he wants to destroy Japan in this film and how he's going to use Japan as a whole to destroy Gotham none of that makes him an interesting character in his won right as we don't get to find out anything about his character that's unique to him outside of the fact that he likes Sushi and that's really it as even his plan could have been the plan for any Batman or DC villain and it would have made sense for any character if the makers of this film wanted us the audience to buy into the fact that he's this films main villain then they should have gone out of there way to make him a more developed character and not rely on the fact that he's evil because of the fact that he was evil in the comics as that's just not that good screenwriting as all it does is make the writer of this film seem lazy as all they would have to do is have a few scenes with him on his own that really fully develop his character and that's really it and it's the same thing for alot of the members of the evil Justice League as well as all of them apart from Wonder Woman don't really get alot of time to put across what it is that there is personality really is meant to be like in this film either but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action film that really does mean that I have t actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films action being alot of fun alot of the time so much so that we even get to see Batman basically in a mecha just to fight the evil version of Superman which just that idea alone makes this film worth watching as it does show that the makers of this film aren't afraid to lean into anime tropes and just have fun with them this films best action scene being it's truly epic third act battle scene as we get to see the Batfamily plus Diana and Harley team up to take on Ra's Al Ghul and the evil Justice League all while trying to stop Japan from slipping through what they call a time fisher and landing on Gotham City which does make for a pretty epic fight scene and while we do get to see the tired fight of Batman takin on Superman in a fight that's eerily reminiscent of there fight scene from Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 they do add enough to it that it makes it seem fresh and new again like the fact that the evil Superman does accidently help Bruce out by aligning the machines that Bruce had set up to aid him in his fight with Superman something which is used to great effect and it's stuff like that does make this films third act fight scene that best action in the whole entire movie in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is a pretty good film but at the same time tho it's a film that could have been alot more better then what it actually was but at the same time for only the second ever Batman anime film this isn't that bad of a film as they do do a decent job with the characters an the animation it's just a film that really could have been alot more better then what it actually ended up being in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and a such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me,

Now then as for where I personally got all pf the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official DC Universe fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very film that I used in this very review being the really great Google Images really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very film with alot of them being better quality then what you'd really think of and all of the images are really of course up and really on Google Images are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Superman: The Mad Scientist A Short Film Review

When we think of comic book cartoon we usually think of ones that are on TV. Well there was a time when cartoons would debut exclusively in cinemas with one of those being the Superman cartoons and so then join me as I review the cartoon that helped to inspire another iconic DC animated TV show with the cartoon in question being called simply just "The Mad Scientist" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when a mad scientist writes a note proclaiming that will attack Metropolis its up to Superman to stop him and rescue Lois Lane. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as even tho it was a rather simple plot that's all it really needed to as the best aspect of these cartoons is there simple set ups as that's where they thrive the best with this films plot also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Bud Collyer as Clark Kent / Superman , Joan Alexander as Lois Lane and Jackson Beck as Perry White. Also starring in this film is Jack Mercer as The Mad Scientist and Grant Richards as The Narrator. Cartoons from around this time more often then not only had one or two actors per-cartoon as such it is quite surprising to see a cartoon that actually has quite a few actors in it.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films main actors turning in some really good performances which is something that really ďoes make sense as Bud Collyer also played Superman on the radio and as such he really would know how best the character with the rest of the films actors more then holding there own when it comes to acting against him with the acting that's in this very film really being helped by the fact that this films script is just so good that all this films actors really have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance really will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing the animation for this film is the true legends and the really greats that are currently over at Fleischer Studios. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good which is something that's not all that surprising given the fact that Fleischer Studios more likely then not produced some very high quality animation with the animation that's in this film not being any exception to that rule as it looks like the kind of animation that Disney was pitting into his feature length films as that's just how good this films animation really is.

As was mentioned at the very start of this review this cartoon and this whole series of cartoons helped to inspire another classic DC animated TV show. That being Batman: The Animated Series as the makers of that show looked to this series for inspiration when it comes to storytelling as not only this cartoon but the rest of these shorts have a very dark and gritty look to them with this cartoon also being very noir in its storytelling and plot as such when it came to making Batman: The Animated Series the makers of that show gave it a very dark and gritty look and made like a crime noir thriller much in the line of this cartoon.

If there's anything that this episode does wrong it's in the fact that the titular Mad Scientist really isn't given much in the way of personality. As a result of that is the fact that he comes across as being quite the dull and boring character when it would have made more sense for him to be quite a scary and intimidating villain heck he's not even given a reason for being evil and as a result of that is the fact that he just comes across as being evil for the sake of being evil and while this film really wouldn't have had the time needed in order to fully develop his character it is something that would have made the cartoon even better as a hero is only as good as the villain that there facing there for if The Mad Scientist is a weak villain then it makes Superman out to be a weak hero as well.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly ten minutes and thirty six seconds. With this being the perfect running time for this film to have as this film has the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount running with this film even taking the time to tell Superman's origin story as well as tell the main plot of the film and while yes this film really would have benefitted from having a longer running time as that would then allow for the films plot to become more fleshed out and the central villain of the film to be more developed as well it is something that would have been impossible to do as animated films had only just become full length feature films and nobody was doing superhero films at all but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action film that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. As for the time that this film was made in they really do have alot of action in it with best and only action scene in the whole entire film being the fight between Superman and The Mad Scientist as its there that we get to see the weapon that the scientist wants to use on Metropolis really get the better of the man of steel and seeing Superman rise to the occasion to take this villain is truly something that really does need to seen to be believed in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall if the new Superman film is as good as this short film from the forties is then alot of people really will be happy as this short film is just that good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Batman: The Animated Series fandom wiki page , the official DC Universe fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the really great Google Images really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode with alot of them being better quality then what you'd really think of and all of the images are really of course up and really on Google Images are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

The Penguin TV Series SPOILER FILLED Review

Believe it or not there was two comic book related TV shows that debuted several weeks ago with each one getting vastly different reactions from the public. The first one was of course Agatha All Along which got some love from some people but mostly got turned apart by people then there was the show that i'm going to be talking to you about today which got the complete opposite reaction as it got alot of love from people and so then join me as I give my SPILLER FILLED review of the show that proved that you can do a Batman live action TV show well with the show in question being called simply just "The Penguin" enjoy.

The plot of this show is not long after the events of The Batman Oswald "Oz" Cobb tries to make a power grab and become the ultimate crime boss in all of Gotham City only to find that his climb to the top might be a lot more harder then what he first thought that it would be. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty really good as the plot of this show was one that was really handled as it's something that would have been so hard to pull off and yet this show pulls off this kind of plot really well with the show making this plot actually interesting instead of boring and predictable like it so easily could have been with the plot of this show also really being helped by the fact that it is kind of a slow burner as it does take until at the vert least the second the episode of the show for the plot t really get going but that is something that does work well enough to this shows advantage as it does allow the show to then spend some time in setting up it's newer characters wand while yes granted some of it's newer characters do come across as being better then others it's all worth it to see the role that they play in this shows plot with the plot of this show also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this show is this shows executive producer Colin Farrell as Oswald "Oz" Cobb / The Penguin. Also starring in this show is Cristin Milioti as Sofia Gigante , Rhenzy Feliz as Victor "Vic" Aguilar , Deirdre O'Connell as Francis Cobb , Clancy Brown as Salvatore "Sal" Maroni , Carmen Ejogo as Eve Karlo , Michael Zegen as Alberto Falcone , Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál , Michael Kelly as Johnny Viti , Theo Rossi as Dr. Julian Rush , Shohreh Aghdashloo as Nadia Maroni , Scott Cohen as Luca Falcone , Con O'Neill as GCPD Chief Mackenzie Bock , Louis Cancelmi as Rex Calabrese , Kenzie Grey as Gia Viti , Craig Walker as Detective Marcus Wise and Mark Strong as Carmine Falcone.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actually featured / presented to us in this show was in all honesty really good. Which is something that is both shocking and yet at the same time not very shocking at all as some of this shows actors are indeed some really good in there own right and such it's only wise to expect some really performance from them but at the same time it's also quite shocking as well as there are some of this shows actors that aren't quite that well known and as such we'd have no idea of what it is to expect from them from an acting point of view and as a result of that is the fact that this shows acting is shocking really good with the true standout performer in this show being both Colin Farrell as Oswald "Oz" Cobb / The Penguin and Cristin Milioti as Sofia Gigante as both actors really give some really good performances in all of the episodes and heck even in episode four of this show "Cent'Anni" Cristin Milioti pretty much carries that entire episode on her back as she's just that good not only in that episode but in all of the shows episodes as well and the same thing is also true for Colin Farrell as well as he really did bring his A game for this show and for this character as a whole with the acting that's in this very show also being helped by the fact that the scripts for this show are just so good that all this shows really have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance really will come out them naturally which is something that really foes help to raise the overall quality that's in this very show.

For once it's actually hard to say who it is that's doing the CGI for this show as there are no effects companies listed anywhere on the shows IMDB page nor the various end credits. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty really good as this show uses CGI in the best way possible in that it's only there to either extend the set or to enhance something that was already there on the day of filming and that's really it and while yes this show does also use CGI to recreate things from The Batman that's also a good way to use CGI as there's no way that you can flood an entire street and therefor CGI is the only way to go and yet even with that in mind it is at times also really hard to tell what was done in a computer and what was done practically and while yes this films quality of CGI is overall really high when you do indeed spot some really bad looking effects it is something that really does stand out a mile as it's a bad bad looking effect in a sea of good looking effects but having one or two bad looking effects in a show that's filled to the brim with some really good looking CGI effects really go to show you that this show has some more good looking effects then it does have some really bad looking effects in it.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's very safe to say that the best new character that this show introduced was that of Sofia Gigante as this character is one that's made up of many layers. As on the surface she seems like someone who is a bit of a push over but then the more you get into her backstory the more that we the audience find out that she's perhaps the most dangerous villain that Oz is going to come up against in this show as she shows several times that she's more then willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants and even tho she does care deeply about her own family with her spending the vast majority of the first half of the show trying to get revenge on who she things killed off her brother in episode and yet we see just how badly her family just because of the fact that she's not willing to go into the family busisness right away and it's only when she unknowingly helps a reporter get her father into deep trouble that she then is forced into the family busisness after she spends ten years in prison for a crime that she didn't commit and it's because of that she because a highly dangerous villain with her willing to get revenge on her family by killing off all but one of them as a way to make sure that the kid that she saves doesn't go down the same path but by killing off her family she does set the kid off on the same path as her with this being something that we see her struggle to deal with and it's all of that that makes her the true standout character in this show.

For those that are expecting a cameo from Batman either in the series finale or in any of the shows eight episodes then be prepared to be let down. As not only does the character not even appear either as Batman or as Bruce Wayne for that matter but the character doesn't even get mentioned at all during the shows eight episodes with the only references that we get to the character is a name drop in the eighth episode and the bat-signal appearing at the end of the show and that's really it and while that is something that might put off some people as alot of them will be wondering why Batman isn't trying to stop Oz which is also an issue with the show as a whole when we get to the seventh episode of the show it could also be seen as a good thing as it means that the show has more then enough star power on it's own to not really require the character to show up in order to lend credibility to the show but at the same time tho given how much damage not only Oz himself but also Sofia cause during the events of this show alot of which we even see being reported on the Gotham City News then it really does make you wonder why the character didn't appear in the show or why a reason for him not showing up was ever given on screen as that would then fully explain why we the audience are not going to be seeing the character in this show and yet we get nothing which doesn't work as we the audience know for a fact that he's in Gotham City given that this show takes place two weeks after The Batman and so he would still be in Gotham City when this show is taking place and yet we get no reason as to why the character isn't appearing in this show.

While this show does indeed have Oz be the main character of the show the show doesn't make him out to be the good guy. As we find out in episode 7 that he was the one that killed his brothers something which he lied about several times during the show and all because of the fact that he wanted to spend more time with his mother something which his mother not only knew that he did but actively tried to get him to confess and he didn't then tried to have him killed and yet we also see Oz acting like a true villain all throughout the show as he kills Sofia's brother at the start of the first episode and frequently gets into business with several gangster and double crosses them all for his own gain and all of which almost backfire on him and yet it's because of the fact that he's the bad guy that makes this show interesting as the show actually tries to make him a likable character by showing him caring for ill mother and even grieving her when she has a stroke and enter a vegetative state because of it all of which concludes in an utterly heartbreaking scene when in the final episode he kills of his one true friend Vic for no reason other then he wants no one to try and take him off the top spot and has his girlfriend dress up as his mother and roleplay as her which does go to show you that even tho due to his own actions of him killing this own brothers that his mother never really cared for him that he still cares for her which makes this show come across as being more of a tragedy that it is a drama.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running tie of exactly one hour and seven minuets and fifty nine seconds. Which is kind of the bogstandard running time for this show to have as alot of this shows episodes had a very similar running time with the shortest episode being episode seven which at just over forty six minuets long with each episode having just the right amount there interms of plot to really cover there respective running time and it really does help that all of these episode really do take as full advantage that they really could have done as they fully flesh out not only the character of The Penguin himself but alot of the side characters and the main characters as well and while yes some of the other characters like for example Dr. Julian Rush and Johnny Viti aren't as fleshed out as they really could have been with neither of them really adding much to the overall plot with Johnny Viti really only being there to give Sofia a kind of antagonist for the first half of the show but when he's killed off there's really no one else that can take her down and even her own alley Dr. Julian Rush doesn't get that much development either and he's meant to be a kind of love interest for Sofia and yet if you compare this to Vic who does get fully fleshed out and does get the chance to be a fully formed character despite him filling the exact same role as Dr. Julian Rush as someone for Oz to talk to and have an alley in then it really does make you wonder why the makers of this show didn't give Dr. Julian Rush the time that he really needed to become a more fleshed out character but I really will admit that this show really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a drama that really does mean that I gave to actually talk about the actual drama that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual drama that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty really good. As the show really does take the time to really build up all of it's main characters and because of that when something dramatic does happen it not only feels natural but it also feel earned as well and isn't just there because of the fact that the show needs something dramatic here it happens because it's something that the characters would say and do with it actually adding something to the characters or advancing the characters in someway shape or form with the best example of this being the episode three cliff hanger where Oz and Sofia are captured by Maroni's wife and men and yet when Vic crashes Oz's car into them it's Oz that gets in the car and tells him to drive off leaving Sofia alone which is something that works for that character as Oz is only really out for himself and so of course he would leave Sofia alone to die as he sees her as a threat and nothing more then that and the show is filled to the brim with drama that's like that with this show being a really good example of how to do character driven drama and not have it come across as being forced and unneeded in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall while this show is not getting picked up for a season 2 right now despite one having been discussed this story is not over just yet as we have The Batman Part 2 and possibly even The Batman Part 3 but even so this show really doesn't need a second season as its better as being a one and done show and the show works really well because of the fact that it's one and done show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very show really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official The Batman Universe fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful the official The Batman Universe fandom wiki page since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on freaking the official The Batman Universe fandom wiki page are all fairly freaking high in freaking quality and as well as being very fairly freaking high in definition.

Some DC Characters Who Should Get There Own Animated Show

Ok guys and girls you all know i'm a huge comic book and animation fan and that i've done plenty of posts combining the two in the past. So I thought that for this post it would be fun for me to list of some characters that I think should get there own animated show before I get started tho I want to get this out of the way alot of these characters will most likely have already had there own animated series but because the characters are so interesting that they deserve another one.

Suicide Squad

I honestly think that this could be a rather fun series especially if it's airing on Adult Swim just because for this group of characters you need to be on a more mature network. What will also help the show is the fact that alot of the characters are now thanks to the movie quite well known yes not all of them are house hold names but there's a lot of characters that adults would know. I admit I have no idea on what kind of format the show should take but I do think having one season long storyline in this case mission would help.

The Flash

Quite frankly i'm shocked that DC doesn't have an animated Flash show in the making given how popular the character has become thanks to The CW series. There have been plenty of animated movies featuring the character and he was in the animated Justice League series but there's never been an animated solo series for the character and for the life of me I have no idea why that's the case since it would be very easy to make a cool Flash show and heck if you want to tie it into the Arrowverse you could by having all of the characters played by who ever plays them on those shows.

Catwoman

This one might be a little bit tricky to pull of since she is both a hero and a villain but it's not impossible and if done right it could make for an entertaining show. I think that the best place for this show would be the DC streaming service just because this show could very easily be a flop and no network wants a show that might flop but if you get the right team behind it and the right cast then you could be looking at something special and it could very lead into my next choice.

Gotham City Sirens

This is a fairly new team on the DC block for those that don't know the Gotham City Sirens is a team made up of Catwoman , Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. As far as I can work out the team mainly takes on the mob and that could make for an entertaining mini series and given that Harley Quinn already has an animated coming out this year if that does well and if they do a Catwoman series they could have a nice little universe going on here.

Batman

There's already been a ton of Batman animated shows in the past and they'll know doubt be a ton more in the future but I think that he should get another solo show because then they can really dive deep into something so few Batman media has ever touched. That is the scarred Psyche of Bruce Wayne heck the only piece of Batman media I can think of that's even gone near there is the animated movie Mask Of The Phantasm and to me that's shocking because there could be a ton of stories you could get just from that angel alone.

Wonder Woman

Again this is really shocking because Wonder Woman a character who's been around since 40's has never had her won animated series oh sure she's been in plenty of animated projects but never a solo one. This was something that I thought would change once her solo movie came out and blew everyone away but nope and I have to wonder why that is she's a great character so why not give her her own show.

                                                                         Jessica Cruz

This might seem like an odd choice since she's a very new character but given how popular the character has proven so far you just know it's only a matter of time before she gets her own show. Jessica is a character who like Wonder Woman has appeared in various animated projects and i'm calling it at some point in the next ten years she will get her own movie and hopefully her own animated show.

Anyways guys this has only been some of the characters that I think should get there own animated show. I know alot of you right now are typing where's this character and where's that character but I urge you to look at the title and i'm not saying all of these shows will be hits but if there done right and have the right team behind it then I see no reason why these characters can't have there own shows.
