It's The Girl In The Red Truck, Charlie Brown Film Review

The Peanuts gang have been in so many specials and feature films that it's hard to keep track of them all however what all of those specials have in common is the fact that there animated. Well there's one special out there that actually isn't fully animated and that's the special that i'm going to be taking a look at today just because I wanted to see good this film or special was and then join me as I review the special that really doesn't actually feature alot of the Peanuts gang in it with the special in question being called simply "It's the Girl In The Red Truck, Charlie Brown" enjoy.

The plot of this special is the first thing that's wrong with this special as there's very little to know to no plot to speak. I get it that alot of the Peanuts films and specials always have little plot in them to begin with but those always had characters that we liked and cute and charming animation to go with it and this film has none of those aspects and so we the audience are forced to focus a little bit harder on this films lack of story and so what would be a very minor issue in the other Peanuts adaptations suddenly becomes a major issue in this one in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Jason Riffle as The Voice Of Charlie Brown and Steven Stoliar as The Voice of The French Teacher On Cassette. Also starring in this film is Jill Schulz as Jenny , Molly Brice as Molly , Greg Deacon as Jeff and regular Peanuts director and producer Bill Melendez as The Voice Of Spike. This was I think the only time that Bill Melendez didn't play Snoopy in any Peanuts adaptation with the character appearing instead in a silent cameo at the start of the movie to help to set up the events of the film.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the issue as the acting in this film wasn't all that good either with this film mostly using very unknown actors and actresses or people who aren't an actor and actress and it really does show in the quality of the acting that we got in this film. with the acting not really being helped by the script which gives the actors and actresses nothing interms of what their respective characters personalities even are.

I have no idea who is doing the animation for this film I assume that it's Bill Melendez Productions but I could be wrong tho. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with the animation being alot better then what it really had any right to be.

Even tho this film uses very similar techniques to Who Framed Roger Rabbit it's important to note that this film was being developed before Who Framed Roger Rabbit. However tho it's hard not to compare the two as Who Framed Roger Rabbit was the more popular of the two and while this film was made on a TV show budget the animated characters really do bend in well enough with the live action elements so well in fact that there are certain shots in this film that had me wondering how they managed to get that shot.

This film writer , producer and Thee Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz once said that he wanted this film to be his Citizen Kane. What he really should have focused on is making a good film because this film just isn't that good of a film at all with this film not really having any likable characters in it at all not that the characters that we have in this film are unlikable characters because there not it's just that there not really all that well written either and so they all just come across as bland and boring and are doing not because it's in their character to so but rather because the plot demands that they do those things instead.

From what little information that I can gather online this film has seen very few home media releases and I can see why. As it's a film that just looks cheap even down to using a small number of actors and characters and not really helping things is the fact that this film doesn't really feel like a Peanuts film or special as there's no heartwarming message and apart from Charlie Brown and Snoopy the actual Peanuts gang don't appear in this film with this film feeling like it was meant to be something else entirely only for it to be turned into a Peanuts special at the last minuet.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly forty eight minuets and four seconds. Which to this films credit does feel about the right amount of time for this film to have but given that this film has no story to it alot of the ti,e it just feels like your watching the characters just go through their day to day lives and while that never gets boring in this film it is something that can get boring very quickly and I will admit that this film does indeed have some really good pacing to it with the film really just flying by.

So now then since this is meant to be a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in in this very film was in all honesty really bad. With this film not really having any funny jokes in it at all with alot of this films jokes just falling flat which is a shame because The Peanuts specials usually have alot of really great and funny jokes in them in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall out of all the adaptations that The Peanuts gang have been in this is perhaps the worst one that i've seen which is a shame because a live action Peanuts special could be really good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 4 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Peanuts fandom wiki page , the official Disney fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful Google Images since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us up and on on Google Images are all really fairly high in quality and as well as being all really fairly freaking high in definition.
