The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf SPOILER FREE!!!!!!!!!! Review

Netflix fans whenever the company has a hit TV show or a hit movie on their hands you just know that there going to produce alot of spin offs and well The Witcher is no exception to that. Since even tho the live action Netflix TV series of The Witcher has so far only got one season to it's name there's already a live action prequel series about to start filming and there's what i'm going to review for you all today and so join me as I review the first spin off of the live action The Witcher TV series franchise with the film in question being called simply just "The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf" enjoy.

The plot of this film is someone is plotting to kill all Witchers who are a group of people who kill mythical monsters and and it's up a witcher called Vesemir to find out who is planning to kill all of the witchers and out astop to their plans before it's far to freaking late.  Now then as for what I personally thought about the plot of this film in all honesty I in all honesty thought that the plot of this film was rather thin and was rather weak since the plot of this film doesn't really come into effect until the film reaches it's half way point and considering that this film has an incredibly short running time the fact that the plot of this took so long to even get going is a very huge freaking problem in my opinion anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Theo James as Vesemir , David Errigo Jr. as Young Vesemir and Lara Pulver as Tetra. Also starring in this film is Graham McTavish as Deglan , Mary McDonnell as Lady Zerbst , Tom Canton as Filavandrel , Matt Yang King as Luka , Jennifer Hale as Illyana , Adam Croasdell as King Dagread , Michaela Dietz as Tomas , Luke Youngblood as Sugo , Darryl Kurylo as Sven and Keith Ferguson as Lord Carlisle.

Now then as for what I personally thought / felt about the acting that's featured / presented to us in this very film in all honesty I in all honesty thought / felt that the acting that's featured / presented to us in this very film was very good. This is because all of the actors and the actresses that are appearing in / starring in this film are some fairly good actors and actresses and even tho Theo James is a decent actor who really isn't that good of a voice actor since he just doesn't give his character any kind of emotion and so his vocal performance comes across as being quite wooden and flat and uninteresting in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then doing the actual animation for this film is Studio Mir who most famously did the animation for the most recent seasons of Young Justice and for The Legend Of Korra. Now then in terms of what I actually thought about the actual animation that's featured / presented to us in this actual film in all honest I in all honesty thought that that actual animation that's featured / presented to us in this actual film was really good which again shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone since Studio Mir always turns in very high quality animation and the same thing is very true for this film as well in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then as I stated at the start of this very review this film is a sin off of the live action Netflix TV series The Witcher with this film acting as a prequel to The Witcher. As such you don't really have to have seen The Witcher in order to fully understand what's going on in this film since this is pretty much a self contained story but at the same time I do feel / think that it would indeed help if you have at least some very basic knowledge of The Witcher TV series tho.

Now then with all of that being said tho this film does indeed fall into all or alot of the same trappings that every single prequel piece of media that uses preexisting characters from later in on in that piece or medias timeline falls into. Since this film can indeed be very predictable since we know from the The Witcher TV series that Witchers are still a thing which means that Vesemir and his crew / friends save the day and so it makes this film third and final act a little bit less impactful because you know exactly how it's going to turn out in the end but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways / at least.

Now if your thinking of letting any little kids watch this movie don't just don't because there is alot of blood and gore in this movie and there's some nudity in this movie as well. However the blood and gore that's in this film is freaking awesome to watch and is freaking awesome to see since it oddly makes the world of The Witcher feel alot more real simply just due to how violent and how bloody and how gory this film gets in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then this film has / had a grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty three minuets and thirty four seconds and well if i'm being well and truly very freaking honest here people this film didn't need to be as long as it was / is. Since plot wise / storyline wise this film just simply doesn't have enough story to cover that running time heck there really isn't enough story to cover one hour let alone one hour and twenty three minuets and thirty four seconds in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then this film is an action film after all and so that means that we / I have to talk about the actual action sequences that are featured / resented to us in this film and well in my opinion anyways / at least the action that's featured / resented to us in this very film is really freaking cool and this is simply because of the fact. That this film is much more violent film and so the film can get away with the characters doing alot more cool things in my opinion anyways / at least.

Overall this is a really good film but at the same time it's also a very predictable film and it's also a film that does infact have it's own fare share of problems in my opinion anyways / at least but those exact same problems don't / didn't really hinder my personal overall enjoyment of the film. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this film in this very review and as such this film gets a grand old score of an 8 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I got all of the images that I used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very / exact review from the official Dragon Ball fandom wiki page , Google Images and the official The Witcher fandom wiki page. With my personally favourite website to use to get images from this film being Google Images this is simply because Google Images actually has alot of images from this episode and plus all of the of the images that are currently up and featured and on Google Images are all fairly freaking high in freaking quality and as well as being fairly high definition.
