My First Impressions Of Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Ladies and gentlemen the world of Star Wars is a world that is always expanding through various forms if media and well the world of Star Wars is expanding again. Since there is a new Star Wars animated TV series currently airing on Disney+ and even tho i'm a few days late to making this post you just know that I had to cover this show and so here are my first impressions of the latest animated TV show to be set in the Star Wars universe with the TV show that is in question being called simply "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" enjoy.

Now then boys and girls the plot of the first episode of this show is a rouge squadron of Clone troopers find themselves on the run from the empire and the plot of the second episode of this show is the clones and their new alley Omega have to help an old friend and his family escape from a planet that is now officially under empyreal control.  In terms of what  thought about the plots of both the first and of the second episode I honestly / really did enjoy the plot of the first episode alot more since it was a really well written story where as the plot of the second episode to me at least felt more lighthearted but episode two was still a really well written episode tho.

Starring in these first two episodes are Dee Bradley Baker as The Bad Batch / Captain Grey / Clone Troopers and Cut and Archie Panjabi as Depa Billaba. Also starring in these first two episodes are Michelle Ang as Omega , Ben Diskin as AZI-3 , Matthew Wood as Battle Droids , Bob Bergen as Lama Su , Gwendoline Yeo as Nala Se , Tom Kane as The Narrator , Stephen Stanton as Admiral Tarkin / Armed Fighter 1 and Armed Fighter 2 , Nika Futterman as Fauja and Shaeeah , Kath Soucie as Jek and Cara Pifko as Suu.

Now then boys and girls there is a few names on there that i've chosen not to mention when crediting who's starring / appearing in these first two episodes simply I want you guys to go into these episodes without knowing as much as is humanly possible which given that the first episode of this show came out a few days might be impossible. As for what I thought about the acting that's featured in these first two episodes in all honesty the acting that's featured in these two episodes is really freaking good which in all honesty shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone since the acting in pretty much all of the Star Wars animated projects be they for a TV series , a film or a TV Holiday Christmas special is freaking always freaking top notch anyways but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very honest and as well being in my very humble opinion anyways.

As for who is doing the animation for these two episodes plus the entire series as a whole we have CGCG Inc who also worked on Star Wars Rebels. In terms of what I personally thought about the animation that's featured / presented to us in these first two episodes in all honesty the animation that's featured / presented to us in these first two episodes was so freaking good that at times not only did I feel like I was watching a movie but the show also looked like a movie because the animation and the visuals was that good and this level of high quality animation is something that you'd expect to see in a movie and not something that you'd expect to see in a TV series / a streaming service TV series.

Now then boys and girls for those of you who don't know this series is actually a spin off series since it's spun off from the animated TV series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. While I personally cannot say for sure if you absolutely need / needed to watch every single episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars in order to fully understand the characters that are appearing in / starring in these first two episodes I do think that you need to at the very least have seen a good chunk / a good portion of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

However I personally haven't seen every single episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and I fully understood everything that was going on as well as fully understood each of the characters relationships to each other but that's just me tho. Yes I do think that it would help if you've seen Star Wars: The Clone Wars but I don't think that it's an absolute necessity tho since you can very easily pick up on each of the characters relationship to each other and as well what each of the personality traits are for not only each member of the titular The Bad Batch but for the newly created character of Omega.

Now I have to say that I honestly wasn't able to watch and cover episode one back on May The 4th since I was on holiday on May The 4th.As such I made the conscious choice to watch and cover episodes 1 and 2 together since I knew that episode 2 was coming out and May The 7th and I have to say that this was a wise move since both of the first two episodes in this show flow together really well but at the same time I don't really feel that you need to watch both of the first two episodes in this show since both episodes of this show tell different stories but it was fun seeing both of the first two episodes in this show back to back tho.

Now then boys and girls the first episode of this series has a total running time of one hour and eleven minuets and fourteen seconds while the second episode of this show has a total running time of twenty seven minuets and twelve seconds. In all honesty I really don't see why episode one of this new show had to be one hour and eleven minuets and fourteen seconds since it really doesn't have the story needed to cover that amount of time if anything you could have told the story of episode one in forty five minuets and nothing of importance to the plot would need to be cut / lost / sacrificed and I feel that episode two had the right amount of running time since episode two was basically telling a simple story and as such episode doesn't need / didn't need a long / longer running time in order to fully tell it's rather simple story but that's just what I think anyways and that's in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now then boys and girls this is an action show after all and there is action in these first two episodes and that means that I have to talk about the action that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episode and in all honesty I thought that the action that was featured / presented to us in episode two was pretty weak. Especially when you compare the action in episode two to the action that's featured / presented to us in episode one which I not only felt was better but the action that's featured / presented to us in episode one was also more fun to watch simply because we get to see all of the members of the titular The Bad Batch doing what they do best and as well as showing us what ever it is that they personally bring to the group / team.

Overall even tho episode one of this show does rush it's timeline with Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge Of The Sith I honestly do feel that out of these first two episodes episode one is the better episode not that episode two is bad per say but it's just that I personally prefer episode one of this new show. Now then boys and girls since i've just this second finished talking about both of the good things that are in these episodes and as well as both of the bad things that are in these first two episodes in this very review I will not be giving either of these first two episodes a rating / ranking simply because this isn't a review of either episode but is rather instead just my first impressions of Star Wars: The Bad Batch as a whole and yes I might continue to watch this show / series but only time will tell tho.

As for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from either the official Star Wars: The Clone Wars fandom wiki page or from the official Star Wars fandom wiki page and well I honestly cannot say which website that I personally prefer to use for the images from eithetr of these two episodes. Since even tho there aren't that many images from either of these first two episodes that are on the official Star Wars fandom wiki page the images that are on the official Star Wars fandom wiki page are really high quality and are really high definition which sadly the same cannot be said for the official Star Wars The Clone Wars fandom wiki page which has a lot more of a verity of images but the images that are on the official Star Wars: The Clone Wars fandom wiki page are at best fairly high quality and are at best fairly high definition.
