Batman "Cat Scratch Fever" Review

Batman fans it's been almost one year since I last did a review of an episode of the classic Batman: The Animated Series. Well I thought that i'd end that right now and without even knowing that this would be the case both this episode and the last episode of this show that I reviewed "Christmas With Joker" both seem to gave a winter setting and so then join me as I review that sees Catwoman return with the episode in question being called simply just "Cat Scratch Fever" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when he cat Isis goes missing a recently released and on probation Selina Kyle goes looking for her but both she and Batman discover something that's far more sinister going on. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad with this episodes plot being very well told and being a very strong plot in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is the late and the great Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne / Batman and Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as Alfred Pennyworth. Also starring in this episode is Ed Asner as Roland Daggett , Adrienne Barbeau as Selina Kyle / Catwoman , Virginia Capers as The Judge , Denny Dillon as Jessy , Mary McDonald Lewis as Maven , Danny Mann as A Radio DJ , Ingrid Oliu as Renée Montoya , Brock Peters as Lucius Fox , voice acting legend and Scooby-Doo legend Frank Welker as Isis and Treat Williams as Milo.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. Which given who is starring in this episode that really isn't a surprise since all of this films cast members are some really good actors and just simply are the voices of their respective characters for a generation of fans and viewers.

Doing the actual animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at AKOM Production. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty a very mixed bag of affairs since there are quite alot of animation errors in this episode which is sadly a very common thing for alot of AKOM Productions work but when they do produce some animation we do get some great looking animation and some very great looking scenes in this very episode.

What I really liked about this episode is seeing Batman and Catwoman teaming up since this is something that I don't think is seen all that much in this show. Which makes all the more special when these two characters do infact teams up and the fact that Batman has to try and save Selina's life which just goes to show that Batman cares for Selina Kyle and doesn't see her as a villain and nothing more then that.

This episode does get away with quite alot of swearing with the character of Jessy using words that sound alot like swear words. Heck I even had to rewind the episode more then a few times just to make sure I had heard what I thought that i'd heard and it makes me wonder just how these words and phrases made it past the censor espically since the character has a thick accent as well so it made those words sounds alot like swear words which I will admit did add to my overall enjoyment of the actual episode itself.

It's not all good tho as I didn't like the fact that this episode ended with Catwoman finding her cat Isis since to me it would have made her a much more interesting character if we saw her trying to cope with her cat not being there. Altho I will admit that seeing her trying to be a good guy was an interesting angle to take with the character and while this show would do this angle again only better and with the The Penguin it's nice to see them try it out but with other Batman villains as well.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty two minuets and seventeen seconds. Which really was an incredibly short amount of running time to give to an episode like this one since you very easily could have stretched this entire episode up to at the very least forty minuets heck you could have made this episode a two part episode which in the  end would have helped the episode more then hurt the episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With this episode having some really good action however it's not the best action that this series has had or will have since even tho this episodes action is pretty cool it's also just very bland looking to look at as well.

Overall this is a rather band from a rather extra-ordinary show but even so this is still a pretty good episode it's just one that is quite clearly not one of this shows more better episodes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well  then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Batman: The Animated Series fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from the actual film that I personally used in this very review being the official Batman: The Animated Series fandom page simply because all of the images that are from this actual / very film and that I personally found that are currently up and on Batman: The Animated Series fandom wiki page are all very really fairly high in quality and as well as being very really fairly high definition.
