The Muppets Mayhem TV Series SPOILER FREE Review

Muppets fans yesterday I promised you all a review of the new Muppets TV show and i'm a man of my word. I will admit that this show does get better after those first three episodes and I love that these side characters are now finally get the chance to shine and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FREE review of the show that's all about family and all about rocking out with the show in question being called simply just "The Muppets Mayhem" enjoy.

The plot of the show is a secretary at a failing record company tries to convince The Electric Mayhem to make their first ever album. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty really good as it gives us something new and yet it's also a very entertaining plot as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this show is Bill Barretta as Dr. Teeth , Leslie Carrara-Rudolph as Penny Waxman and Dave Goelz as Zoot. Also starring in this show is Eric Jacobson as Animal , Peter Linz as Lips , David Rudman as Janice , Matt Vogel as Floyd Pepper , David Bizzaro as Gerald Teeth Sr. , Stephanie D'Abruzzo as Tina Teeth , Lilly Singh as Nora Singh , Saara Chaudry as Hannah Singh , Tahj Mowry as Moog and Anders Holm as JJ.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty really good. With all of the The Muppets cast turning in some good performances but on the flip side of that is the fact that even all of these episodes later the human cast just don't turn in that good of a performance and come across as being rather wooden.

This show contains alot and I really do mean alot of references to the bands appearances in other Muppet media. Which I did like but at the same time it was also very distracting I mean heck one the shots in episodes one was lifted directly from The Muppet Movie but at the same time since the band themselves haven't really made that many appearances it does make sense for them to make alot of references to things like The Muppet Show for example I only wish that they didn't do it as often as they do in this show.

If you'll recall in my first impressions post about this show you'll remember me saying that this show has alot of emotional endings. Well sadly it doesn't end with just those three episodes and I have to say that it doesn't work for a Muppets show it works for something like The Goldbergs but not the Muppets as the Muppets are anarchic and not family friendly and so ending every single episode of a Muppets based TV show in the most family friendly way possible feels like a disservice to not only the brand but also the characters.

I did like that we got alot of backstory for quite alot of the band members and while alot of them do work with the shows penchant for sad endings. Alot of them just don't work i'm not going to say who gets the backstory episodes but out of the two technically three that we got only the first one was the one that really worked for me because it was something that now explains why those two characters act the way they do together in alot of other Muppets media where as the other two just don't do that at all and are there just to act as filler scenes and really nothing all the more then that.

This show is as to be expected a musical with songs that are written by legendary singer and songwriter Linda Perry. With nearly all of this shows songs being great songs heck I love all of this shows songs so much that I went on Spotify and added all of the songs to my own personal playlist with nearly all pf this shows songs being songs that you'd expect to hear from The Electric Mayhem which does make it impossible to choose my favorite because there all so good but if I were pushed i'd say that my favorite song from this show isn't even one of the bands original original songs it's their cover version of the song "Rock and Roll All Nite" by Kiss.

Now then this show has / had episodes that are all really no longer then twenty nine minuets in total length. Which is a great running for each of these episodes to have but at the same time alot of these episodes didn't need to be as long as they are just because not alot actually happens in a stereotypical episode of this show as such alot of these episodes really could have been at the very least twenty two minuets but I will admit that alot of this shows episodes do have some really good pacing to them but sadly some of them have some really very pretty bad pacing to them as well.

So now then since this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. As we don get some decent jokes coming from the band sadly tho the actual paid "funny" human actors like Lilly Singh just aren't that funny and heck Lilly Singh only managed to make me laugh twice in this shows ten episode run where as the band made me laugh alot more then that because the band are actually funny characters that are given actually funny things to say and do and that makes all the difference in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this show does indeed rock and is a very good show it's lacking that special something that makes The Electric Mayhem feel like The Electric Mayhem but like I said this is still a very good show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this very review and as such that means that means that this very show earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 .5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official The Muppets fandom wiki page and Google Images. With the website that I personally recommend using to get the actual images from this show being the official The Muppets fandom wiki page this is simply because nearly all of the images that are featured and are thus up and on the official The Muppets fandom wiki page are all fairly high in quality and as well as being very fairly high in definition.
