My First Impressions Of The Gremlins: Secrets Of The Mogwai TV Series

The Gremlins franchise is one that has long been dead since the nineteen nineties with various attempts of making a third movie mounting to nothing so far. As such it came as quite shock when it was announced that the franchise would be returning as an animated series and well then that series has just dropped it's first two episodes and so then join me as I give you my first impressions of the show that seeks to relaunch a dead franchise with the series in question being called simply just "Gremlins: Secrets Of The Mogwai" enjoy.

The plot of these first two episodes is when Sam Wing finds himself of a dangerous creature known as a Mogwai he has to return it to it's home before the creature is taken by someone who is raising an army of evil Mogwai. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes was in all honesty really good as it does a good job of introducing this world to new fans and reintroducing the world to old fans as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these first two episodes is Gabrielle Green as Elle , A. J. Locascio as Gizmo and James Hong as Grandpa. Also starring in these first two episodes is Matthew Rhys as Riley Greene , Izaac Wang as Sam Wing , Ming-Na Wen as Fong Wing , BD Wong as Hon Wing and Ratcatcher , Eric Bauza as A Adoring Fan , A Yeti and A Circus Assistant , Henchman 1 , Noggin and Snout , SungWon Cho as The Circusmaster , Keisuke Hoashi as The Conductor , Customer 1 and Customer 2 and voice acting legend Grey Griffin as Candy Vendor , A Furry Mogwai and Claw.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that' actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty really good. Which was something that really did catch me of guard as most of the cast for these episodes is mostly made up of unknown actors and actresses barring of course one or two and so I really had no idea whatsoever what to expect from these two episodes acting wise.

Doing the animation for these episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Blue Spirit Productions. No then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty no that bad altho alot of the characters are given very large heads which are just very of putting and very weird looking.

I won't lie ad say that i'm die hard fan of the Gremlins franchise because i'm not heck i've not even seen any of the movies all the way through. However I will admit that i'm glad that this show has stuck the rules of the Mogwai which just goes to show that this show is in good hands and is quit clearly being made by someone who is a fan of the franchise as if they weren't a fan of the franchise then we could quite possibly get something that's just as bad or if not worse then the animated Velma TV series but as this show is being made by fans of the Gremlins it's actually quite good and is even accessible for people like myself who aren't really die hard fans of the Gremlins franchise.

Even tho this show is being made for little kids there's some stuff just in these first two episodes alone that would scare some little kids. I'm not going to spoil what they are but if you've seen these first two episodes then you'll now exactly what i'm talking about and i'm glad that the makers of this show included some horror elements as kids do like being scared and scaring kids in a family friendly way is always something that I love as it just goes to show you that it's OK to put some horror elements in children's media.

For some strange reason HBO Max chose to release the first two episodes of this show which is something that just doesn't work for this show. As this show could really benefit from having one episodes released per week as this would then allow the fans of the franchise to speculate on what's going to happen next and for the people who are just starting this franchise with this show to really get absorbed into the franchise and while some shows do benefit more from having more then episode release a week not all shows do and this show is a prime example of a show that doesn't benefit from releasing more then one episode per week.

Now then these episodes have / had an exact grand total running of no longer then twenty three minuets. With both episodes having roughly a twenty two minuet running time which is perfect for a show like this one to have altho in saying that as these two episodes tell one story they really could have released this episode as a forty five minuet episode as there's really no need to have these episodes split up in half and it really does help that both of these have some really good pacing to both of them with both of the episodes really just flying by.

So now then since this a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the issue because it's not that good either with their being alot more bad jokes in both of these episodes then there are good jokes in these episodes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is so far a really good show and it really does deserve all of the praise that it's been getting from the critics and i'm so glad that this show has already been picked up for a second season as it is so far that good of a show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in these very episodes in this very post and since this is only my first impressions I won't be giving this show a rating however if i'm still watching this show when this shows final episodes airs or is released and then i'll give this a show review and a rating as well.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Gremlins fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful Google Images since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on Google Images are all fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
