Legend of the Three Caballeros Review

Disney fans whenever the company announces a new show it's usually pretty big news but every once in a while they secretly release a show which is what they did with the show i'm about to review heck this show was such a secret that i'm breaking my own rule by basing this review of the first two episodes instead of the first six so here is my review of Legend of the Three Caballeros.

As far as I can make out the plot of this show is Donald , José Carioca and Panchito Pistoles team up with Xandra the Goddess of Adventure to defeat the evil Lord Fendrake Sheldgoose and Baron Von Sheldgoose. What makes the plot of this show truly standout is the fact that each episode leads into the next and it is nice seeing Donald take on an action hero role and it helps that the story is generally interesting.

Reprising their roles are Tony Anselmo as Donald Duck , Jim Cummings as Pete and Tress MacNeille as Daisy Duck and they are joined by Eric Bauza as José Carioca , Jaime Camil as Panchito Pistoles , Grey Griffin as Xandra the Goddess of Adventure , Wayne Knight as Baron Von Sheldgoose , Kevin Michael Richardson as Lord Fendrake Sheldgoose and Jessica DiCicco as April, May, and June.

The acting in the show isn't that good in my opinion the actors who you expect great performances from do indeed give them but there are actors in this show who give characters annoying voices and one of those is the great Dee Bradley Baker as Ari.

I really have no idea who does the animation for this series I do know that it's not Disney Television Animation tho and the animation in the show is honestly way better then what I thought it would be I was expecting something that's just OK but nothing special but nope the animation for me is on par with the Ducktales reboot and this show so far isn't going to be shown on any of the Disney Channels.

Now if your thinking that the name sounds familiar thats because it's based of the 1944 live action / animated film The Three Caballeros (don't worry if you havn't heard of it I havn't either) the film was made as a good will message for South America and the film featured South American live action actors with the main plot revolving around Donald opening presents from his South American friends.

Yeah the show and the movie have nothing in common apart from the name and the characters and from what I can gather the movie just existed to promote South America which while not a bad thing just makes the film feel pointless.

In a strange move not only did Disney not announce this show but so far it's only came out in the Philippines on the DisneyLife app to me it's weird that Disney wouldn't announce there making this show Donald is a popular character and it's odd that they wouldn't release it in North America so far there is no release date set for North America so you guys could be waiting months for the series to come out.

What also helps this show standout is the fact that it's basically an action comedy i'm not making that up there's a lot of action in this series and it's wonderfully animated but tho the comedy in the show does need to be worked on just because the jokes felt a little bit forced in my eyes but I can see some people laughing at them.

Overall Disney's little secret is out of the bag and it's a really good series like alot better then what I thought it was going to be sadly tho so far the only way you can watch this show in English so far is on streaming sites like Kimcartoon the show gets a 7.5 out of 10.
