My SPOILER FILLED First Impressions Of The Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV Series

After coming back with a mildly successful movie last year the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are now back with a brand new animated series. With this series being based in the world of the previous movie and well as i've just seen the previous movie it was only about right that I give you my first impressions of the first six episodes of this show and so then join me I give you my SPOILLER FILLED first impressions of the show that sees a legendary actor not come back for this TV show with the show in question being called simply just "Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" enjoy.

The plot of this show is when the turtles find themselves going up against a new foe they find there very brotherhood tested like it's never been tested before. Bow then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured . presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad however at the exact same time tho the plot of this show isn't all that good either as it's a plot that really isn't all that interesting despite it's unique setup which does allow for some rather unique plots to be told and yet this show doesn't take full advantage of that idea as instead it just gives something that really does feel like it's being stretched out and instead feels like alot like something that would have been better of as the plot of a two part episode and not the plot to the whole entire show with the plot of this show being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this show is Micah Abbey as Donatello , Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo and Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo. Also starring in this show is Brady Noon as Raphael , Inside Out 2 star Ayo Edebiri as April O'Neil , The Spectacular Spider-Man and The Brady Bunch Movie star Alanna Ubach as Bishop , Pete Davidson as Rod , Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Pigeon Pete , Carlin James as Hun , Jamila Velasquez as Angel and Fred Tatasciore as Splinter.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that;s actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured/ presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. Which given that alot of this shows actors are reprising their roles from the movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem it's not really surprising that they would turn in a good performance in this show but at the same time tho there acting still isn't that good and is only slightly better then the acting that we go from them in the movie with alot of the shows best acting oddly enough coming from this shows new cast members alot of whom are either some really good actors in there own right or some really good voice actors as well and would there for no how to turn in a good performance with the acting that;s in this shoe not really being helped by this shows scripts as the scripts for this episode are just so bad as they give absolutely none of this shows cast absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does hurt the overall quality of the acting that's in this very show.

Doing the animation for this show is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Titmouse Canada Animation. Now the interms of what I personally thought  felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this show was in all honesty not that bad but at the exact same time the animation that's in this show wasn't all that good either as it was very choppy with this shows animation taking on style that's meant to remind people of a comic book which given the origins of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles does somewhat make sense but at the same time tho it's not something that's all that appealing to look at as what might work in a comic book might not work in any form of media  with this shows animation being a prime example of that as while yes the characters do have some really nice looking movements to them the show is also not that to look at either at with the shows animation not really helping that as the comic book style that this show is trying to emulate isn't something that works in the confides of this show as it just looks ugly.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason the makers of this show thought it was a good idea to keep the turtles apart from each other for the shows first six episodes. With them only reuniting halfway through the sixth episodes which is something that just doesn't work as the turtles when at there best really work well because of the fact that there bouncing off of each each other and yet with this show there robbed of the chance of doing that because of the fact that they spend so much time apart from one another and while yes they do explain why the turtles aren't with each other in a way that really does make sense and it is something that does work for this version of the turtles it is something that still doesn't work for this version of the characters as we haven't had alot of time to really get to know to know these characters before this show with even Mutant Mayhem not really giving us a good idea of what the turtles personalities outside of the most basic personality traits and as a result of that really is the fact that having them be apart from each other this early on in this universes timeline really doesn't make that much sense but it is something that would work once we the audience have had the chance to really get to know all of the turtles as characters.

Even tho this show does have alot of the cast from Mutant Mayhem coming back to reprise there roles for some strange reason they chose to recast Splinter. With him in this show only speaking in vermin in order to please Scumbug which just serves as a cheap and lazy way to explain why they didn't get Jackie Chan back to play him and really nothing more then that as within these first six episodes Splinter only appears twice and doesn't play a role in the main plot which makes his inclusion come across as being pointless something that would have been fixed if the makers of this actually gave a damn about the turtles franchise as they even have Donatello actually say in the first episode of this show that he's not the IT guy this is despite the fact that the original shows opening lyrics state quite clearly that he does machines and while yes this is does play a part in the characters personal character arc for these first six episodes it's also something that shows that the current producers of the franchise don't really know the characters all that well either as Splinter even going by there own rules would try anything to get the boys to stay in with him due to the fact that he doesn't trust humans all that much something which was a plot point in Mutant Mayhem.

As this post is being based off of the first six episodes of this twelve episode series these first six episodes not only wrap up the plot but also start another one by the end of episode six. Which makes the fact that this show is twelve episodes long come across as it was meant to be released in to six episode releases but for some reason Paramount decided to release them both at the exact same time which is pointless as you then basically have two season worth of storylines to sit through when it would worked out much better if they released the first six episodes in one go ad then at a later date release the remaining six episodes with this not really being helped by the fact that even tho they redeem Bishop during episode six by having her help the turtles to defeat her own evil robots for some strange reason by the end of the episode they have her then turn evil again which even from a character point of view really doesn't make sense as her whole reason for hating the turtles was because of the fact that she believes that they stopped her from helping humanity due to them destroying her life's work thanks to the events of Mutant Mayhem which doesn't make her an interesting villain as it's just a very weak backstory with her becoming evil again by the end of episode six not really being helped by the fact that even the turtles themselves say to her that they love humanity and are trying to protect it as a result of that is the fact that her turning evil again just doesn't work on any level.

Now then this show has / had an exact grand total running tome of exactly no longer then twenty three minuets. Which is a the perfect running time for these episodes to have as these episodes really don't have alot there interms of plot to really cover anything longer then that as the plot of these six episodes is perfect for six episodes and no more then that with the first four episodes showing us the turtles on there own and episode five giving us Bishop's backstory with the turtles finally meeting back up during the shows sixth episode and yet even with a six episode count in order to tell it's story the show really doesn't take it's time to give us the audience a reason to care for it's characters something that it could have done given the fact that it has alot of episodes in order to tell it 's story with the show instead just rushing along to it's next plot point which might be because of each episodes running time but even so to make a story like this one we the audience should be given a reason to want to care for all of these characters ad while this might as well result in a bunch of filler scenes they would still give the characters some much needed character development as well but I will admit that this show really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an actin show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us un this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that;s actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty really good. With the action in this show being the mist creative part of this show as we get to see the turtles have fights in locations that we haven;t seen them have fights in before now and seeing them really find creative ways to take down all four the robots that are attacking them all of which feel true to there characters and all of which do work well for there respective episodes as well but the best action scenes in these first six episodes is the final fight in episode six as we get to see the turtles working together as a team with all of the alleys and foes that they've made during these first six episodes which does create a really and exciting action scene with that action and that episode as whole really feeling like that it should have been the final action scene and the final episode of this show as whole in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall these first six episodes really weren't that bad but at the same time there also episodes that could have been alot better if alot more thought and care was put into this Mutant Mayhem universe with this show being a decent show that really could have been alot more better then what it actually was in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this very post and as this is only my first impressions of the show as a whole there won't be a rating however if enough people want it then I will consider doing a review of the following six episodes.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the really great Google Images simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from these very episodes and are really of course on Google Images are also really all fairly high in quality and really as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.
