My First Impressions Of The Hamster & Gretel TV Series

Disney fans the co-creator of Phineas And Ferb and Milo Murphy's Law Dan Povenmire is finally back with a brand new animated series. While I am a few days late to this party I will admit to having seen some videos and some comments about this show and well lets just say that there not saying good things about this show but nevertheless I went into this show with optimism and so then join me as I give you my first impressions of the newest Dan Povenmire TV show with the TV show in question being called simply just "Hamster & Gretel" enjoy.

The plot of this show just based of the first four episodes of the show that I watched does seem to be vert lacking in actual plot. Which does mean that I can't talk about the actual plot of the show which given just how episodic this show seems to be thus far is kind of expected however this does give us a very major issue that i'm going to be talking about later on in this post but so far I really do like the fact that this show seems to be very episodic in nature as that does allow us to have alot more fun storylines in the episodes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these first first four episodes are Meli Povenmire as Gretel Grant-Gomez and Michael Cimino as Kevin Grant-Gomez. Also starring in these first four episodes is Beck Bennett as Hamster , Waiter and Male Scientist , Liza Koshy as Veronica Hill , Priah Ferguson as Bailey , Joey King as Fred , Female Firefighter and Female Scientist , Hiromi Dames as Hiromi , Casa Ropa Vieja Waitress , Distressed Woman and Sandwich Woman , Phil LaMarr as Professor Exclamation , creator , writer and director Dan Povenmire as Alien , Matire'd ,  Clyde , Old Guy , Phil Pollard and Backstage Guy ,Alyson Stoner as Lauren / The Destructress , Brock Powell as Lyle / FistPuncher , TV Announcer , Q/A Moderator , Concert Announcer , Video Narrator and Luchador Announcer , Carlos Alazraqui as Luchador , Anonymous Nerd and Trending Guy , James Adomian as Rodney Thunderpants and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh as Andrew.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented in these episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acing that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes was in all honesty not that bad with all of these episodes cast members turning in some really good performances. Which really shouldn't be surprising at all since all of the shows that Dan has been involved in have always had some really good acing within them and so then it only makes sense then that this show would have some really good acting within it as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the animation for not only these episodes but also the entire show is Snipple Animation and Synergy Animation. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented in these episodes was in all honesty really good and was of a shockingly high quality heck i'd even go as far as to say that the animation that we got in these episodes was worthy of being in a movie because it was that good and it was that impressive to me in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Apparently this show is meant to be set within the same fictional universe as Phineas And Ferb and by extension Milo Murphy's Law. Which to me is a bit of an issue because of the fact that people would now expecting the shows to crossover with each other and it also doesn't give this show much of a chance to stand on it's own two feet because of the fact that people might also go looking for references to the other two shows as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This shows major issue comes in it's first episode where the first six minuets are paced so badly with lying out the status quo for this series. Since within the first six minuets of the first episode we see how Hamster & Gretel got there powers , we see them fighting crime for the first time and we see what Kevin's role is on the team and we see both the start of the main plot of the episode and the start of Kevin's sub-plot for the episode and all of that is done within the first six minuets of the first episode and none of it lands because it's not given enough time to land properly in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Just keeping on the first episodes issue with pacing I personally would have had both Hamster & Gretel get their respective superpowers by minuet six of the first episode. With the first five minuets just being used to set up the main characters lives before they got superpowers and the rest of the episode showing both Hamster & Gretel adjusting to having superpowers and showing them actually training to use their new powers since this would make that first episode flow at a more organic pace in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then while I don't know what the combined running time of all four episodes even is but I do know that for a fact that all four episodes have a combined grand total running time of roughly thirty to possibly even thirty five minuets. Which means that you could watch the first four episodes of this show in less then hour with each twenty two minuet episode being split up into one eleven to fifteen minuet episode and one eight to nine minuet episode and so I have to admit that episode four does have  the best pacing interms of it's story in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes was in all honesty not that bad. Which I kind of expecting since these first episodes do put alot more effort on the comedy aspect of the show but at the same time I would have loved to have seen alot more creative looking action scenes instead if action scenes that are just boring to look at in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall there is quite alot of potential in this show since the ending of episode two does set up some pretty cool looking villains but so far this show is of to a pretty OK start in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in these episodes in this very post and as always I will not be giving this show a rating as the show has only just started but I will do a review if i'm still watching the show whenever the final episode of this show does infact actually air.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post well then boys and girls and as well ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Hamster & Gretel fandom wiki page and the official Phineas And Ferb fandom wiki page. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful the official Hamster & Grete fandom wiki page since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on freaking the official Hamster & Gretel fandom wiki page are all fairly freaking high in freaking quality and as well as being very fairly freaking high in definition.
