Masters Of The Universe: Revolution TV Series SPOILER FILLED Review

He-Man really can't catch a break in recent years with the show She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power splitting the fanbase and Masters Of The Universe: Revelation splitting it even further it was quite shocking when it was announced that exact same creative team would be back for a new sequel or spin off show. With this show not even really getting all that much attention from Netflix with the marketing for the show only really happening roughly about a week or so ago and really going virtually unnoticed by alot of people and so then join me as I review the show that not alot of people will really know is even a thing with the show in question being called simply just "Masters Of The Universe: Revolution" enjoy.

The plot of the show is Prince Adam's father dies he gives up his right to throne to a previously unheard of relative and Teela goes on quest to restore a place where all the heroes of Eternia go to when they die. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the issue as the plot of this show really isn't all that good either as it's story just isn't all that gripping and really does nothing all that new with the shows cast of characters with the episodes plot also having plot twists that people can really see the shows plot twists really coming a mile away as well with this not really being helped by the fact the shows plot really isn't all that entertaining nor is it all that engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this show is Chris Wood as Prince Adam / He-man and A Sailor and Tim Sheridan as King Miro. Also starring in this show is Mark Hamill as Skeletor , Melissa Benoist as Teela , William Shatner as Keldor , Meg Foster as Motherboard , Keith David as Hordak , John De Lancie as Granamyr , Gates McFadden as Queen Marlena , Diedrich Bader as King Randor and Buzz Off , Liam Cunningham as Duncan , Susan Eisenberg as The Sorceress , Ralph Garman as Fisto and Rio Blast , Phil Lamarr as Mendor , Griffin Newman as Orko and Tuvar , Stephen Root as Cringer and Snout Spout , Jason Mewes as Baddrah , Tiffany Smith as Andra , Tony Todd as Scareglow , Harley Quinn Smith as Queen Amelia , Brett Rash as Prince Keldor , Jakari Fraser as Prince Randor , Cam Clarke as Stonedar , Jeffrey Combs as Zodak , Grey DeLisle as Despara and Game Of Thrones star Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn "Lyn" / Majestra.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. With the actors that you expect a great performance from like Mark Hamill really truly delivering a good and solid performance but at the same time the rest of cast just don't deliver a good performance at all with alot of the shows cast just phoning in their performances with the same thing also being true for actors who we know can turn in a good performance like William Shatner for example who is solid in this show but he doesn't turn in the kind of good performance that we know that he can do with this not really being helped by the fact that the shows scripts gives none of the cast really nothing to work with interms of what there characters personalities are even meant to be in the first and as a result the shows cast just can't turn in a good performance as the shows scripts really just won't allow for them to do so.

Doing the animation for this show is of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at Powerhouse Animation Studios. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty one of the true highlights of the show as the animation that's in this show was really good which is really nothing new as the previous show had some really good animation in it as well which means that it only made sense that this show would also feature some really good animation in it as well with the show taking an anime inspired look which is something that works really well for this show and for this version of the franchise.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

For those of you wondering this show is a slight improvement over Revelation but at the same time this show also falls into the exact same trappings that that show fell into. With this show killing of a main character in it's first episode with King Randor dying which granted isn't as bad as He-man dying at the start of Revelation but at the same time tho it felt like rehash of something that clearly didn't work the first time that they tried it and were as Teela was undoubtedly the main character of Revelation here the main character is oddly enough Skeletor with Prince Adam / He-Man once again feeling like a side character in his show and even that's being kind as Teela once again plays a bigger role in the shows plot then He-Man does which is just just something that will never work as you go into a Masters Of The Universe show wanting to see He-Man as the main character and really not his main villain and most certainly not one of the shows many side characters.

To put it bluntly it really does seem like that Netflix is ashamed of this show as not only has the show not received that much interms of promotion. With it seems like only show creator Kevin Smith and a few of the cast members doing the legwork interms of getting the show out there with official Netflix accounts barely mentioning the show at all and yet Revelation got a ton of promotion from the official Netflix accounts with them talking about the show every single chance that they got which makes it weird that they would barely mention this show at all as this show is only slightly better then what Revelation was and as such you'd think that Netflix would be all over at trying to get more viewers to watch it and yet it doesn't appear that that will be the case at all as they've done such a terrible job with the marketing of this show.

Like with the previous series this one does end with a tease of what's to come this time with Grey Delisle's Despara character. With that character basically being the shows version of Princess Adora /  She-Ra which is a really interesting way of getting around the copyright for the character and yet at the same give that there no more confirmed episodes for this show yet it kind of feels like a pointless cliffhanger as it does't look like it's something that's going to be getting payed off anytime soon but with there being so little information about this show out there there could be more episodes in the can with that character and we don't even know about it and given but given how the story ends it would be pointless to give it more episodes as this show pretty much wrapped up the whole storyline for this version of the franchise but given how it looks like that she might be portrayed should this show get more future episodes it would be great to see another villain instead of Skeletor who is still a good villain but in this show he just wasn't that interesting of a character and having Despara come in as a new villain could be interesting.

Now then this show has / had an exact grand total running timer of roughly three hours in total with each episode being no longer then twenty seven minuets. With the thirty minuet format being a fairly solid for each of this shows five episodes as it does allow for what little story this show is trying to tell to be at the forefront and not only come up every few episodes or so but on the flip side of that is the fact that because this show is so short it now means that problems might have been minor issues or now major issues as we the audience or now forced to focus on them alot more as we're not really given alot of other things to focus on during the shows five episodes with this show really needing at least three more episodes in order to do it's story justice with this not really being helped by the fact that the show really does have some really bad pacing to it with the story moving by at such a fast pace that it's unreal.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented t us in this very film was in all honesty pretty good. Which wasn't all that surprising as the same thing was also true for Revelation but the action in that show worked a little bit better as the story took it's time to be fully developed and yet here because while the action in this show does have some really cool moments in it it's not really as effective as it really should have been due to the fact that the story is so rushed due to the small amount of episodes and yet when we do get some really cool moments in this show they are some genuinely really cool moments and it's those moments that make the action in this show worth watching in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Overall while this show is slightly better then Masters Of The Universe: Revelation it's still not a good show and if we are getting more episodes be it in a Part 2 or it's own separate show then the makers of this show really will have to do something to get the die hard fans back on board as right now there really not even looking at this show as it's just that bad of a show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked abut all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this very review and as such that means that this very show really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies ad gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Masters Of Universe fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very show that I used in this very review being the official Masters Of The Universe fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are featured / up and on the official Masters Of The Universe fandom wiki page are all fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly high definition.

Masters Of The Universe: Revelation Part 2 SPOILER FREE!!!!!!!!!! Review

Masters Of The Universe fans the show that literally divided the fanbase in half is back with the second half of it's first and only season. Which you just know that I have to take a look just to see if this show had improved or if it had somehow gotten even worse and so join me as I give you all my SPOILER FREE review of the show that is at best OK with the show in question being called simply just "Masters Of The Universe: Revelation" enjoy.

The plot for / of this half of the season is after Skeletor took the sword of the power of transformed himself into Skelegod it's now up to He-Man and his friends to set things right before it's far to freaking late. Now then in terms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot of these new episodes in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the plot of these new episodes was at best weak at best in my opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these episodes are Chris Wood as Prince Adam / He-Man , Mark Hamill as Skeletor and Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela. Also starring in these episodes are Liam Cunningham as Man At Arms , Lena Headey as Evil Lyn , Diedrich Bader as King Randor and Trap Jaw , Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena , Stephen Root as Cringer / Battle Cat , Susan Eisenberg as Sorceress , Kevin Michael Richardson as Beast Man , Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man , Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops , Jason Mewes as Stinkor , Alan Oppenheimer as Moss Man , Justin Long as Roboto , Tony Todd as Scare Glow , Phil LaMarr as He-Ro , Cree Summer as Priestess and Kuduk , Harley Quinn Smith as Ileena and Tiffany Smith as Andra.

Now then in terms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was OK at best. Since you have great actors like Lena Heady and Mark Hamill who are quite clearly killing it in their roles but then you get actors like Sarah Michelle Geller who is just turning in an average performance that really does bring down the overall quality of the acting that's in these episodes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the animation for these new batch of episodes are of course once again DR Movie who have provided animation for shows such as Avatar: The Last Airbender and Godzilla: The Series among many freaking others. Now then as for what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes in all I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes is really good but just because the animation is good it doesn't make the actual show good tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then this batch of episodes confirms a long standing fan theory about the character of Teela which i'm not going to spoil because it is a huge freaking spoiler for this batch episodes but let's just say that it makes this batch of episodes feel alot more like the The Teela Show then Masters Of The Universe: Revelation Part 1 ever did. Which is a shame because if this confirmation was in a much better show then it wouldn't have taken away but in this show I felt like that this confirmation took alot of focus of off the character of He-Man / Prince Adam in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then unlike Masters Of The Universe: Revelation Part 1 these new batch of episodes actually don't kill off He-Man / Prince Adam. However tho he still isn't the main character in his own show with that title once again going towards Teela which is a huge problem because of the fact that Masters Of The Universe: Revelation Part 1 made Teela out to be this rather unlikeable character and so you don't want to see her be the main character because the entire first batch of episodes have made her look out to be this rather unlikeable person and that really does damage this half of the show and this show as a freaking whole in my opinions anyways / at least.

Now then there was one thing that I really didn't like which again I can't say what it is because it involves an awful alot / amount of spoilers but when you see it you'll know exactly what i'm talking about. I will say tho that this thing involves Evil-Lyn and it's just something that looks horrible on the character and from a design point of view and from an artistic point of view it's just something that looks very freaking off putting to me in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then just like with Masters Of The Universe: Revelation Part 1 Masters Of The Universe: Revelation Part 2 has five episodes with a grand total running time of at the very least two and a half hours. Which is in all honesty not a bad thing since these batch of episodes really did fly by but at the same time there really was nothing there plot wise after the second or third episode that really warranted this show continuing because of the very last minuet twist that they add to this shows already freaking weak as all freaking heck plot line in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then this show is an action show after all and that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very batch of episode and well in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very batch of episodes wasn't that bad. However tho that's also the problem because the action that we did get wasn't good either it was the kind of action that you'd expect to see in a very middle of the road type of movie or action show and hot even close to being as cool as you'd possibly even want it to freaking be in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this part is very easily better then part 1but with that being said this part does also have alot of flaws that go all the way down to basic story beats and it's those faults / flaws that really do bring down this entire show for not only me but for many other actual die He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe fans as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now i've talked a out all of the good things and as well as all of the bad things that are in these very batch of episodes in this very review and as such that means that this half of the show earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official He-Man fandom wiki page , the official Netflix fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very show that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are featured / up and on Google Images are all fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly high definition.

Masters Of The Universe: Revelation SPOILER FREE!!!!!!!!!! Review

He-Man fans the day that we have been waiting for is finally here since Netflix have just released a new He-Man animated series and well most of what was said on Youtube about this show was is actually pretty freaking true. I'm not going to say anymore in this introduction because in all honesty I have alot more to say about this show and so join me as I give you my SPOILER FREE!!!!!!!!!! review the show that has alot f die hard fans wondering why this show was even made in the first place with the show is question being called simply just "Masters Of The Universe: Revelation" enjoy.

The plot of this show is after an epic battle results in the sword of power being split into and all of the magic in Eternia being starting to drain it's up to Teela and a crew of former heroes and villains to find both half of the sword of power and to restore the magic to world of Eternia once and for all. Yeah i'm not going to lie the plot is the first thing that's wrong with this show because it sidelines He-Man for the vast majority of this first batch of episodes with Teela becoming the shows main character but I will very fully admit that the plot of this show is very well told and is entertaining / intriguing to see play out in the actual show itself.

Starring in this show is Chris Wood as Prince Adam / He-Man , Mark Hamill as Skeletor and Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela. Also starring in this show is Liam Cunningham as Man-At-Arms , Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn , Diedrich Bader as King Randor and Trap Jaw , Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena , Stephen Root as Cringer , Griffin Newman as Orko , Susan Eisenberg as Sorceress , Kevin Michael Richardson as Beast Man , Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man , Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops , Jason Mewes as Stinkor , Alan Oppenheimer as Moss Man , Justin Long as Roboto , Tony Todd as Scare Glow , Phil LaMarr as He-Ro , Cree Summer as Priestess , Harley Quinn Smith as Ileena and Tiffany Smith as Andra.

Now then in terms of what I personally thought about the acting that's featured / presented to us in this very show in all honesty I honestly thought that the acting thats featured / presented to us in this very show wasn't that bad. Altho I do have to question why showrunner and executive producer chose to give Tiffany Smith a leading role in this show since she's the worst actress in this show since she delivers most of her lunes rather flatly in my opinion and it doesn't really help that alot of her scenes have her acting with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Lena Headey who are two actresses who you just know are going to knock it out of the park performances wise since almost every single time that either of those two actresses are acting in something they always deliver some really good performances and the same thing is true in this show in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then doing the actual animation for this TV show / TV series is Powerhouse Animation Studios who of course did the animation that was featured / presented to us in the Castlevania Netflix TV series and as such it should come as no surprise to anybody that the animation that's featured / presented to us in this show is really freaking good. This is because Powerhouse Animation Studios always put quality before quantity and plus Powerhouse Animation Studios are known for turning out good animation in pretty much everything that they've ever worked on.

Now then I will very fully admit that this show is alot better then She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power was simply because this show can be fun at times. However this show falls into the exact same trappings as She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power since this show is far to busy trying to please an audience that simply wasn't interested in seeing this show and they do that through the fact that this show cannot go five minuets without Teela being on screen in some degree and due to the fact that none of the male characters are given much if a personality where as all of the female characters / cast of characters are given tons of personality.

This show has the potential to be something that alot of Masters Of The Universe fans both old and new and causal and die hard fans alike can enjoy. However because this show is so Teela focused it's going to risk alienating the die hard fans while also possibly even confusing the casual fans and that means once again the older fans are going to be mocked by the so called new fans and well if you've seen the Star Wars fandom over the past five or six years you'll know how toxic that can be from both older fans and newer fans alike and that's something that shouldn't happen with this show because all they'd have to with this show is tone Teela's appearences not to the point where she might as well not be a character in the show but to the point where she can become a co-lead character with he-Man since this way the show and thus the older fans can show us how cool of a character He-Man can be and that would thus hopefully create a more united He-Man / Masters Of The Universe fandom / fan base but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways / at least.

Like I said this show can be entertaining to watch but at the same time this show doesn't fully embrace the silliness that the Masters Of the Universe / the He-man franchise is at it's core. Since the basic premise of this entire multi media franchise is kind of silly and while the 1983 He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe embraced the silliness of it's own premise this show takes itself far to seriously which does make this show less fun to watch at times.

This first season of this very / particular show is five episodes long with no episode lasting longer then thirty minuets which means that the grand total running time for this first season is at the very least at least two and a half hours long. Which I have to say having this first season be five episodes oddly works well enough in this shows favour since this shows first season storyline doesn't have enough there in terms of plot / story to realistically cover anything that's over five episodes in my opinion anyways / at least.

Now then because / since this show is an action show after all which does infact mean that there are alot of action scenes in this show which means that I have to actually talk about all of the many action scenes that are in this particular / very show and well if i'm being honest the action that's featured / resented to us in this particular / very show was the best of this particular / very show. Since the action scenes are so well animated that all of this show's action practically / basically fly of the screen plus it really does help that we get to see alot of cool moments in all of this shows many and I do mean action scenes / action sequences.

Overall I cant say that this show destroys my childhood simply because I didn't grow up watching He-Man And The Masters Of the Universe just simply due to the fact that I wasn't born when that show started airing but at the same time I can see clear as day where alot of the die hard He-man And The Masters Of The Universe fans are coming from when they say that they don't like this show but I personally found this show to be rather enjoyable. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this show in this very episode and that means that this show gets a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I got all of the images that U used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I used in this very review from the official Netflix fandom wiki page and from Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very show that I used in this very review being the official Netflix simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are featured / up and on the official Netflix fandom wiki page are all fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly high definition and yes THAT cliffhanger at the end of episode five is freaking amazing.
