Robot Chicken Season 9 Episode 10 "Factory Where Nuts Are Handled" Review

Robot Chicken fans i'm back after a week of to get some rest and I have to say this was a very enjoyable episode so here is my review of Robot Chicken Season 9 episode 10  "Factory Where Nuts Are Handled".

In this weeks show Mary Kate and Ashley head to Mexico , Michigan J. Frog and his cousin Pepe have a chat and Megatron suffers from PTSD. I'm being honest here I cannot remember most of the sketches from this weeks episode and i'm not sure why that is they weren't that long and they were pretty funny.

This weeks episode starred Seth Green , Genevieve Angelson , Rachel Bloom , Larry Herron , Victorious star Victoria Justice , David Kaye and Tesha Kondrat. Whoever does the casting for this series well done because I had no idea who was playing who in this episode and that's the best thing you can say about any actor in any show or movie.

I'm not going to repeat what I say every week about the animation because honestly i'm getting sick of saying it which is why these reviews will be short unless something drastic happens and if not then i'll have to reconsider doing this on a weekly basis but yeah the production value for this weeks episode was pretty high.

Like I said before most of the jokes for this weeks episodes were just forgettable they were funny jokes but if your like me you'd forget them a few minuets after watching the episode but my favorite sketch featured the legend that is Michigan J. Frog he's a funny character anything he says or does is funny in this episode.

Overall this was a decent episode and like I said before i'm going to reconsider doing this as a weekly series maybe just doing the season premiers and endings with maybe the specials so that way i'm not repeating myself week after week this episode gets a 7 out of 10 from me.

Robot Chicken Season 9 Episode 8 "We Don't See Much of That in 1940's America" Review

Robot Chicken fans it's that time of the week again and I have to say that without going into to much detail this episode is a step up from last weeks episode so here we go with a review of "We Don't See Much Of That In 1940's America"

In this weeks episode Dom Toretto drives the Titanic , James Bond joins The Bachelor , Harry Potter relives his golden years , Miss Frizzle tries to survive in the mountains after The Magic School Bus crashes. After last weeks dreadfully unfunny episode i'm glad to say that alot of sketches in this episode were actually funny and apart from one of the sketches they don't go on to long.

Doing guest voices for this weeks episode are Abraham Benrubi , Luke Evans , Amy Forsyth , Milla Jovovich , Arielle Kebbel , Ally Maki and Patrick Pinney. I'm gonna be frank I had no idea Luke Evans or Milla Jovovich where in this episode and i'm fans of both of them and I think I know who they play i'm sure Luke plays James Bond and Milla plays Miss Frizzle but since the acting for this show overall is really good it could be anyone.

Yeah I know this isn't from the episode but since pictures from the episode are hard to find I figured this will do since they spoof The Magic School Bus. Also getting better from last weeks episode was the animation which for some reason took a downward turn last week but it's back to being pretty good this time around with a nice mixture of there traditional stop motion and some CGI.

There is one downside and it's more of a personal issue then anything else but I think they should have made it more clear which version of The Magic School Bus they were spoofing just because whoever was doing the voice for Miss Frizzle doesn't sound like Lily Tomlin or Kate McKinnon which is a shame because it is a funny sketch and it would have made the sketch a think a little funnier if they brought in either actress to voice the character.

I covered most of the sketches at the start of the review but there's a lot more and they are all really funny but for me tho the two funniest sketches were the James Bond sketch at the end because i'm a Bond fan and this is something every Bond fan pokes fun at and the sketch at the beginning with the Cheerios Bee I won't spoil any of the jokes in this episode because they are all worth watching and laughing at.

Overall this was a return to form for the team and i'm glad that last weeks episode was just a fluke and we can get back to the funny stuff once again this episode scores a 8 out of 10 from me.

Robot Chicken Season 9 Episode 7 "3 2 1 2 333, 222, 3...66?" Review

Hello and welcome back Robot Chicken fans it's that time again were I give you my thoughts on the latest episode that hopefully tickled our funny bones so here is my review of Robot Chicken "3 2 1 2 333, 222, 3...66?".

So then what happens in this weeks episode well RC wonders how Harriet the Spy would fit into the modern world of Cyberwarfare. The Midnight Society figures out what is truly scary and Alvin and the Chipmunks play Coachella for the first and last time. This episode was mainly sketch driven and that did actually put me of a little bit and alot of the sketches do go on a little to long for my liking.

Starring in this episode we have series co-creator Seth Green , Dane Cook , Tamara Garfield , Clare Grant , Kiel Kennedy , Howie Mandel , Rick and Morty Co-creator Justin Roiland , and Michelle Trachtenberg. I honestly have no idea who was playing who in this episode but since Harriet The Spy was in the episode i assume that Michelle played her but with that aside you know the voice acting is good when you don't reconise any of the voices in an episode  and believe me I tried.

I do usually like the shows style of animation I think that sop motion really does work for sketch comedy but for some reason in this episode the quality of the animation took a bit of dip the movements of the characters looked a bit rough and the episode overall looked unfinished and I really do hope that the next episode really does get back to the quality animation I know that this show can produce.

Before I get back to the review I want you all to know that when reviewing this series I won't go into to much detail when it comes to the sketches and near the start of the review I will always include some of the sketches that are in the episode but the punchline will never be given away and that's because I want you all to watch the show and not just read these reviews and not all images will be from the episode they'll just be whatever ones i can find on google or Tumblr.

I'm sad to say that not only did the animation quality take a bit of a dip but so did some of the jokes like for example the Alvin And The Chipmunks sketch it's a fine idea but it goes on way longer then what is needed and the same can also be said for the Harriet sketch which does have a funny set up and idea but it gets dragged on and the punchline feels forced so instead of laughing you find yourself either groaning or thanking the lord it's over.

Just so you guys all know i'm working out a schedule that will also allow me to review classic episodes of the show and will also give me the time to review other things that I want to talk about but no matter what new episode reviews will happen on Monday if possible Monday morning but the latest will be Tuesday.

Overall there's not much I more I can say about this episode because everything has already been said in the review and I hope that next weeks episode really is an improvement otherwise I can see this series being deemed as the worst in the show's history.

Robot Chicken Season 4 Episode 2 " They Took My Thumbs" Review

I'm a huge Robot Chicken fan but something occurred to me while watching Youtube videos i'd never reviewed anything to do with Robot Chicken so if this is something you all want i'll start making weekly reviews for the most part they will be of the latest episode but as you can guess from the title this one is from Season 4 and that's because this is my official "pilot" so here we go.

The types of stories being told in this episode include finding out who builds the temples in Raiders Of The Lost Ark , See Jason get excited for a certain date , A Salesmen is late for a meeting but he has a really good excuse and witness the Justice League on a "Bring Your Sidekick To Work Day". Since Robot Chicken episodes don't have a story unless there a special what i'd do instead is list the kind of jokes that are in the episode but i'll still make a comment on the jokes later on in the review.

Now I won't say that Seth Green is in every episode and will thus only credit the guest stars but for this pilot review this episode does have Seth Green and he's joined by Sebastian Bach, Alex Borstein, Hugh Davidson, Clare Grant, Breckin Meyer, Matthew Senreich and Milo Ventimiglia. The voice acting I thought was really good I became a bit of a Clare Grant thanks to seeing her in The Graves and i still didn't reconise her in this episode and Seth is as great as always my only issue is I could tell straight away that Ales Borstein was playing Wonder Woman but that might because I can pick her voice out anywhere.

I won't really go on about the animation since it's an animated show and if you guys like it this will be a weekly thing but i will say that I liked the animation in this episode I think that stop motion animation really does go well with sketch comedy and they did a good job of mixing it with the CGI stuff they add in in post production.

Honestly the jokes in this episode were really freaking funny if your like me and your a fan of Indiana Jones you'll find your self laughing alot during the opening sketch that's how funny it is and it's what I love about this show it takes something your familiar with and puts a different twist on it and I won't spoil the Justice League just because you really do have to see it.

Overall this was a really funny episode and if you guys like this review that is a phrase you'll see alot of because I really do like this show and there will not be a rating on the episodes and i'm going to let you all know now that in a few weeks there will be a full review of Hot Streets.

Top 5 Adult Cartoons

Hello there animation as well as there being great animated shows for kids out there their is also a few great shows aimed at adults as well and in this list i will tell you what my top 5 shows and before i forget i will not be including Beavis And Butt-Head because i havn't seen that many episodes of it and the same goes for Drawn Together because that would be lower down.

5) Spicy City

This show earns it's spot here just due to how strange it is this show was made for HBO and my god is this show adult i won't name some of the things seen in the series but let's just say there's a reason why the only picture i can use is a piece of fan art i found of google.

4) Aeon Flux

Again this show was and still is really odd for the first two seasons the main character never speaks and there is very little to no dialog within those episodes and each of the first episodes within the first two seasons are around 5 minuets in length and yes the main character dies at the end of every episode.

3) Family Guy

It wouldn't be a list of the best adult cartoons if Family Guy wasn't on here and i know the recent seasons havn't been as good but for the first few years this show was rude , crude and laugh out loud funny.

2) Robot Chicken

There's not really much i can say about this show that hasn't already been said where as Family Guy uses shock humor to claim it's an adult cartoon this one does it in the jokes that it tells and very rarely goes for shock humor.

1) South Park

Of course South Park was going to be number 1 this show causes more controversy then any show on this list they even had an episode where i certain f word was said 399 times and for those that don't know the maximum amount you can say that word on TV is 400 the makers of this show have been getting angry letters from people since day 1 and there now on season 20.
