My SPOILER FREE First Impressions Of The Fallout TV Series

For a long time doing a live action adaptation of a popular video game was seen as a bad thing as that adaptation was nine times out of ten really bad. Well things have really very slowly been improving on that front over the last couple years as more and more live action video game adaptations have not only been hits at the box office but have also been shockingly really good with more and more of them being made it was only a matter of time when attention turned to some games by Bethesda and well now finally one of there games has finally been given the live action adaptation treatment in the form of a TV series and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FREE first impressions of the show that really is alot better then what it really had right to be with the show in question being called simply just "Fallout" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is Lucy has her life turned upside when outside forces force to leave to her vault and go into the world two hundred plus years after it was bombed by a nuclear explosion. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as it does a solid job of giving us what the main plot of the show will be but at the same time there was nothing really special about this plot that made it standout from the plot of say a show airing on The CW for example as alot of just relies on tropes that you've seen done before in The CW shows only there it was done to save money and here it was just done for the sake of doing them with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean , Aaron Moten as Maximus and Kyle MacLachlan as Hank MacLean. Also starring in this episode is Moisés Arias as Norm MacLean , Xelia Mendes-Jones as Dane , Walton Goggins as Cooper Howard , Sarita Choudhury as Lee Moldaver , Leslie Uggams as Betty Pearson , Michael Cristofer as Elder Cleric Quintus , Johnny Pemberton as Thaddeus , Mykelti Williamson as Honcho , Matt Berry as Mr. Handy , Zach Cherry as Woody Thomas , Annabel O'Hagan as Stephanie Harper , Dave Register as Chet , Rodrigo Luzzi as Reg McPhee and Cameron Cowperthwaite as Monty.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. Which given that this episodes director is Jonathon Nolan who like his brother Christopher Nolan really does know how to direct his actors and get a good performance out of them with the acting in this episode also being helped by the fact that all of this episodes cast are a bunch of really good actors who really do know how to act as they've turned in great performances in other projects with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally.

Doing the CGI for not only this episode but also the entire is Juice and the legends and the greats that are currently over at Legacy Effects. Now then interms of what i personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured  presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good as alot of the CGI was very hard to find as apart from the obviously CGI space ships alot of the effects in this episode was used mainly to extend what was already there on set and to add in things like helicopters into the background and as a result it comes across as the makers of this show really knowing how to us CGI as there using it in a way that doesn't distract you from what was already there going on in the episode instead it's used to bring to life things that they really couldn't do practically which is how CGI should always be used.

This show is of course adapted from the game of the exact same name which debuted on October 10th 1997. While it is hard to say if this episode is faithful to lore of the games so far just based of off this first episode that does seem to be the case in which case alot of the games die hard fans will be very happy to see there favorite weapons brought to life while this could indeed be a good thing heck take a look at The Super Mario Bros Movie as a good example of that but at the same time tho this could also be a bad thing as there are going to be a lot of people who didn't play the games and on't know the lore of the games which could quite possibly alienate alot of people who might have been interested in watching the show but would now be put off as the episode explains pretty much nothing that would have been explained in the game and while the games die hard fans won't mind this as they'd already know the game's lore inside and out it's the more mainstream audience who will suffer and because of that this show won't be able to attract alot more viewers despite the great reviews that it's been getting as the mainstream audience would have to do alot of homework in order to fully understand this one episode.

Fallout really doesn't make a good idea for a TV show as there really isn't all that much that you could do with it in that format. Whereas due to the popularity of medevil fantasy and medevil fantasy TV shows it would make more sense to adapt Skyrim into a live action TV series as due to the amount of games that are in that franchise both in spin off form and in the main line series there's alot of things that you could do with a live action Skyrim TV series with Fallout instead working better as maybe a live action movie as when you boil it down the plot of a Fallout game is perfect for a live action movie as they have a quite clear beginning , middle and end with no way to continue you for a potential second season where as you can very easily do a second season of Skyrim live action TV series as the games continue on after the main plots have finished and heck you could even turn it into an anthology series with each season having a different cast and a telling a different story something which you couldn't do with Fallout.

For some reason this episode flip flops between telling two different stories with the more interesting one being Lucy's story. With the less interesting story being the story with Maximus and Dane which makes you wonder why the makers of this show chose to do that as they had more then enough running time to do this in a less jarring way instead of smash cutting halfway through Lucy's story to start to tell this new story with characters that just aren't that interesting and as a result all it does is make you want to fast forward through the Maximus and Dane scenes just to get back to the Lucy scenes as those are the scenes that are not only more important to the episode but are also more interesting and when your doing what is basically a pilot episode you want to lead with your more interesting and stronger story and that is Lucy's story with the Maximus story being weak and just not that interesting and heck they even could have bumped the Maximus scenes to episode two and have episode one just focus on Lucy as it's her story that forms the basic plot of the show as a whole.

Now the this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and fourteen minuets and fifty seven seconds. Which is such a long time for this episode to have as while the episode really does have more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that large amount of running time it's also an episode that really didn't need to be near the length of a feature length film as you very easily could have told this episodes key storyline in forty five minuets to one hour long just by cutting out all of the pointless stuff with Maximus and Dane as there scenes felt like filler scenes as they really added noting to the overall plot of the episode and were just for the same of being there which made them feel alot more like padding when this episode really didn't need to be padded out as the episode really is plenty long as it is but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured  presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. As the shows action was really exciting and was shockingly gruesome which was something that came as a genuine surprise as you don't expect gory moments to happen in action scenes and that's exactly what we get in the episodes best action scene which is also filled to the brim with a bunch of really cool moments all of which make this episodes action stand out when compared to all of the over action shows that are currently on Amazon Prime which just have some really bland and boring action scenes that look pretty but have no cool moments in them whatsoever in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while it's hard to say if this is a good video game adaptation it's certainly not a bad one either as it's something that's sure to please the die hard fans but it's the mainstream audience that are going to gave a hard time fully understanding all of the things that are going on in this episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this episode in this very post and since this is only my first impressions I won't be giving this show a rating however if this post does decently well and if you guys want me to check out episode then I will do it and that post would then be a review of that episode and that episode only and not a review of the show as a whole.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Fallout fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to really use to get the images from this very episode that I really used in this very post being the really great the official Fallout fandom wiki page simply just really due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode and are really of course up and really on the really great official Fallout fandom wiki page are really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.
