Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of Gods Film DUBBED Film Review

Dragon Ball Z fans it's been quite a while since i've last reviewed a film from the Dragon Ball franchise and well then I thought that i'd put an end to that right freaking now. Since this is a film that was the first Dragon ball film to have been made and thus released in quite a few years and was the first film in the franchise release since I think it was 1996 and so join as I review the film that brought the franchise back into mainstream popular culture with the film in question being called simply just "Dragon Ball Z: Battle Of Gods" enjoy.

The plot of this film is Beerus the god of destruction has a dream that involves the mythical Super Saiyan God and so Beerus heads to earth to find this Super Saiyan God and so then it's up to Goku to defend the earth once again. Now then in terms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot of this film in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot of this film was in all honesty really freaking weak since the main plot of this film just comes and goes whenever it pleases and it isn't really a strong enough plot for that of a feature length film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Jason Douglas as Beerus , Kara Edwards as Goten , Gotenks and Videl , Kyle Hebert as Gohan , Laura Bailey as Trunks and Gotenks and Sean Schemmel as Goku and King Kai , Chris Cason as Shou , Chris Rager as Mr. Satan , Chris Sabat as Piccolo and Yamcha , Christopher R. Sabat as Vegeta , Chuck Huber as Pilaf , Colleen Clinkenbeard as Mai , Cynthia Cranz as Chi-Chi , Dameon Clarke as Cell , Ian Sinclair as Whis , John Burgmeier as Tien , Josh Martin as Buu , Justin Cook as Dende , Kent Williams as Supreme Kai and Kyle Hebert as The Narrator.

Now then as for what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really freaking good. Which given given whom is starring in this film and how good these voice actors the fact that this film has some really freaking acting in it really shouldn't come as an absolute surprise to absolutely anybody what so freaking ever in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Doing the animation for this film is of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at Toei Animation. Now then in terms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very freaking film in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very freaking film was in all honesty really freaking altho there were some really bad lookin CGI shots in this film which yeah didn't really look that freaking good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then for some dumb and rather strange unknown reason when Dragon Ball Super started airing the very first arc that that show did was a complete and total retelling of this film. Which is pointless because this film is already in the Dragon Ball Z canon and so there was no need to retell this story especially when at that time people had already seen this film and so it would have been much freaking better if Dragon Ball had started of with another new arc in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least.

So now then I will very freaking admit that this film is perhaps kid friendly or child friendly of all of the more recent Dragon Ball Z films. Since yeah this features alot of scenes with the characters just telling bad jokes or with the characters just acting goofy which might be fine for say a Pokemon film but it doesn't really work here in this film as it clashes with this film more serious tone and plot line in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then I really did like this films I guess you could see villain in Lord Beerus since he is a god he is just doing whatever the freaking heck that he freaking wants to do. Which in all honesty really does work well enough in this films favour since he is a an unpredictable character and so you can and this film does infact get alot of good and funny jokes out of this character and it really does help that he ack up all of threats which makes his a very credible if a somewhat silly villain for freaking Goku and his friends to freaking take on in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least.

So now then this film has / had a grand total running time of exactly one hour and forty five minuets and two seconds. Which is in all honesty a tad bit on the long side for this film since this film basically has the plot line of an extended episode of any of the main Dragon Ball anime shows / series and as such this film does come across as being a tad bit boring in places with there being scenes that are in this film that add nothing to the overall plot of the actual film itself which also badly effects the pacing of this film as well in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least.

Now then since this film is an action film after all that means that I actually have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really freaking good. Which considering that this film is a Dragon Ball Z film that really shouldn't come as an absolute surprise to absolutely anybody what so freaking ever altho I will that the films really freaking bad CGI backgrounds really did take me out of the action alot of the time tho in my freaking personal opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film was a somewhat middle of the road film in that it's the kind of film that you'd put if you just wanted to your basic episode of the any of Dragon Ball anime shows / series only spread out to a feature length running time in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad thins that are in this very freaking film in this very freaking review and as such that means that this very freaking film erns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Dragon Ball fandom wiki page and I also lastly got an image from Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very show that I used in this very review being the official Dragon Ball fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are featured / up and on the official Dragon Ball fandom wiki page are all fairly high in quality and as well as being in fairly freaking high definition.
