Some Cartoons I Like But Don't Get As Much Attention From Cartoon Fans

Cartoons fans alot of shows come and go some are good some are bad so it's no wonder that alot of shows don't get attention from the cartoon community which is why i'm here to let you know about some of the shows that I like but don't get much attention from fans.

Mr. Bean: The Animated Series

With this show I kinda get why it's not talked about as much since the live action show wasn't big America but the character and the live action show were huge in Britain so I have to ask why don't us Brits talk about the show as much?

Animaniacs

I've spoken before about my love for this show so I won't go on about why we should be talking about it still but with news of the reboot I honestly think that Cartoon fans should give this gem the attention it deserves now let us all hope that the reboot can do the original any sort of justice.

Batman: The Animated Series

People better then myself have said why this show is fantastic and in all honesty it deserves all of the praise that it gets from Batman fans but the fact remains that it's not talked about by cartoon fans and i'm not sure why that is this is a really great series for both fans old and new and it's the series that gave the world Harley Quinn and Mark Hamill as The Joker.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series

If Batman: The Animated Series was really good this show at times just wasn't good at all but that didn't stop it from being fun and for honestly being the best animated series to feature Spider-Man ever and I do wish Marvel would make a sequel comic just so we can visit that world again.

X-Men: The Animated Series

Yes there really was a 90's X-Men show and yeah it was pretty awesome now I admit that I don't remember much about the show inf act for a few years I forgot all about it but a few months ago I did watch the first two episodes and it still holds up the reason why I don't think this holds is just due to how nineties it is and by that I mean the show is full of jokes you'd only get if you were born in the nineties and is full of nineties technology.

Tiny Toon Adventures

Again the reason why I think people don't talk about this show is the fact it stopped airing in 1992 however it is still a good show and it's one that I frequently go and re-watch whenever I want to watch a cartoon that will make me laugh and it got two specials in 1994.

Ducktales (1987 Series)

I have to stress that this is all about the 1987 show not the awesome reboot but it seems to me that as i'm doing this list you have to be over a certain age to even know about these shows and this is especially true for Ducktales since it started in the late 80's and I want fans of the classic show to try and convince fans of the reboot to give this show a try.

Hot Streets

Right now it feels like i'm the only one who's talking about this show and for the life of me I don't see why that's the case it's a truly good show for me this show is the next Rick And Morty it's funny , it's clever and it has some freaking strange animation and you know what I freaking love it.

The Little Mermaid TV Series Review

Hey there Disney fans a few days ago I realized that i've never reviewed The Little Mermaid TV show despite not only growing up with it but also seeing and reviewing the movie well now that changes with my review of The Little Mermaid TV Series.

The show is a prequel to the movie but it's also an episodic series so there's no real plot to speak of which is fine if you've just watched the film and want to see more from these characters but if your like me and you grew up with the series first then you might be disappointed.

Now what's pleasing about this series is the fact that most of the films cast came back to voice there characters and those actors are Jodi Benson , Samuel E. Wright , Kenneth Mars and Pat Carroll and honestly they all do a perfect job with reprising there characters in all honesty the voice acting for this series is pretty spot on.

Now since this is a TV the quality in animation of course will take a huge dip but even I was shocked at how bad the animation was the characters alot of the times have awkward movements to them and are just plain drawn weird which is a shame because apparently Disney got the best TV animators they could to work on this series.

What really didn't work for me and it also got old very fast was the fact that the series tries to have many emotional moments in every episode i'm not opposed to a show having these kinds of moments but when they appear in most of the episodes it starts to get old very quick and the reason why they didn't work is because they didn't feel earned.

As I mentioned this is a prequel so there's no real threat at all both to the characters , there relationships or the kingdom why because there all in the movie so making a prequel series makes no sense why didn't they instead make a sequel series.

The comedy for me is very and i mean very hit and miss alot of the jokes in the series just flat out don't work and and aren't funny but the jokes that do work at best will only get a chuckle out of someone and won't make them laugh out loud.

We might as well call this series a musical since there's a song in most of the episodes and not all of them are bad infact alot of them are at best ok none are really memorable but that doesn't mean there not good all though I don't know why they mixed "Part of Your World", "Under the Sea", and "Kiss the Girl" for the opening theme it just seems like an odd thing to do.

Overall if you want to see more from these characters and that world then this is the show for you but if your not a fan of the film then I advise that you stay away from this show for me the show gets a 5 out of 10.

The Top 5 Scooby-Doo! Films That I've Seen

Scooby fans i'm going to do something that no one has ever done in the history of ever and that's ........................................make a list about Scooby-Doo! movies but what will hopefully make mine stand out a little bit more is i'm only counting the movies that i've seen so if your favorite isn't on the list then it's either lower down or I havn't seen it.

5) Scooby-Doo (2002)

I know alot of people don't like this film and that's fair enough I myself have some issues with this film but I also have fond memories with it as well and it's a film that I grew up with and that's why it's on this list that and it gave us a look at future Shaggy Matthew Lillard.

4) Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold

I'll admit that when I first saw the trailer I thought that this film would be pretty bad and to a degree it is but it's not as bad as I thought it would be while there are some unfunny jokes in this movie there's some decent jokes as well as some nice animation.

3) Lego Scooby-Doo! Blowout Beach Bash

This was the first Lego Scooby-Doo! movie i've seen and for some reason I thought it was going to be like The Lego Movie but instead I got a fun and fresh take on the gang and the computer animation honestly wasn't that bad altho there was some cringy moments in this movie.

Altered Carbon Review

Netflix you glorious people I believe you've done it again you have given us another series that is worth talking about so that's what i'm going to go here is my review of the new netflix series Altered Carbon.

The plot of the show us in the future, people's consciousnesses are contained in what are called "stacks" storage devices attached to the back of a person's neck. Physical bodies are turned into what's called "sleeves" mere disposable vessels. Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman) a violent mercenary wakes up 250 years after his sleeve is killed and he's given the choice to either spend the rest of his life in prison for his crimes or help solve the murder of the wealthiest man in the world. I'm not gonna lie I really liked the plot of this show because of the simple fact it forces you to think and believe it or not people do like to be challenged despite what the poor box office for Blade Runner 2049 will have you believe.

The show stars Rick Flagg , Will Yun Lee , Renée Elise Goldsberry , James Purefoy , Kristin Lehman and Martha Higareda. Acting wise the show is freaking perfect because all of the main actors in this show do a really freaking good job I had no idea that Joel could act and in this he blew me away.

To say that this film took visual inspiration from Blade Runner would be an understatement but in all honesty I think it works for the show and for the world it's set in but with that being said with the show looking so much like Blade Runner it might as well have been called Blade Runner: The Series.

This show is very much for a mature audience and it lets you know it every single chance it gets , there's original Robocop levels of violence and so many love making scenes that it would make the makers of Game Of Thrones blush and don't get me started on swearing so bottom line here don't let little kids watch even a single episode of this.

The opening title sequence is visually stunning and in a change from other Netflix shows it doesn't last that long it's only on screen for around twenty seven to twenty eight seconds. The only issue I have with the intro is the fact that the music playing over it is just sounds dull i'm not sure if that was done on purpose or not but you can fall asleep just from listening to the opening music.

I've already mentioned how violent this show is so I won't go into it again here but I will say that the action scenes I thought were really well done for a TV / Web series they honestly look like action scenes that you'd find in a big budget movie that's how good they truly are.

Another thing that was movie quality for me was the CGI it looked damn good and dare I say it better then what is used in must movies these days I don't know who did the CGI effects for this series but I hope that they got paid well.

Overall you guys should go and check this series out like i've mentioned before it's out on Netflix and it's freaking worth it for me the series gets a 9.5 out of 10 and since it's on Netflix it's safe to say we'll be getting a second season.

Wacky Races 2017 Review

Hello there cartoon fans it's been along time since I last brought up the reboot of Wacky Races and well since I havn't given it a full review and alot of time has passed since the first episode I thought why not review it and see if my opinions on the show have changed.

The show doesn't have a plot but it does follow a group of racers as they race but it also follows what they do when they don't race now when i first saw the show I admit I wasn't happy to have an episode where the racers don't race but know I do see what there going for but at the same time I don't think it's needed.

The voice cast include Peter Woodward , Billy West in a dual role as both Muttley and a member of The Gruesome Twosome , Nicole Parker , Diedrich Bader , Tom Kenny and Jill Talley. The voice acting for the must part is decent altho I still don't get why they gave Dastardly a British accent that just seems weird to me but I do have to admit all of the actors do somehow manage to make the roles their own.

I don't know if you can tell by the above images but there's been some slight changes to the way the characters look and while I do get that you do need to update the look of characters from time to time did they have to make the characters look really strange for some some reason Dastardly has a really big nose and it just looks weird and for some unknown reason he now has an all purple outfit when there was nothing wrong with what he used to wear and I know why they gave Penelope a small waist but this is a kids show so why are they trying to get the older generation into watching.

The animation does fair a little better tho but the key word there is a little because for a large portion of the time the animation isn't that good and it comes across as cheap but at the best of times the animation is passable. In all honesty this looks like a show that was made on someone's computer for a couple of pounds / dollars / insert your countries currency here heck Hanna-Barbera had better animation and they made shows on the cheap.

I'll admit right here and now that the humor on the show can at times be very hit and miss when a joke lands it will get a chuckle out of people but when a joke doesn't land it's groan inducing there idea of a joke is throwing random stuff at you and going "see isn't this funny" and I have to say that throwing random stuff on the screen doesn't make a good joke and as someone who loved the original show I liked that they not only referenced the original show but they also used clips from it as well.

Overall I will say that in certain aspects the show has improved but it's still not as good as the original and I won't recommend you see this show if your a fan of the original series but for a new generation this is there interpretation of Wacky Races and it gets a 5 out of 10 from me.

Robot Chicken Season 4 Episode 2 " They Took My Thumbs" Review

I'm a huge Robot Chicken fan but something occurred to me while watching Youtube videos i'd never reviewed anything to do with Robot Chicken so if this is something you all want i'll start making weekly reviews for the most part they will be of the latest episode but as you can guess from the title this one is from Season 4 and that's because this is my official "pilot" so here we go.

The types of stories being told in this episode include finding out who builds the temples in Raiders Of The Lost Ark , See Jason get excited for a certain date , A Salesmen is late for a meeting but he has a really good excuse and witness the Justice League on a "Bring Your Sidekick To Work Day". Since Robot Chicken episodes don't have a story unless there a special what i'd do instead is list the kind of jokes that are in the episode but i'll still make a comment on the jokes later on in the review.

Now I won't say that Seth Green is in every episode and will thus only credit the guest stars but for this pilot review this episode does have Seth Green and he's joined by Sebastian Bach, Alex Borstein, Hugh Davidson, Clare Grant, Breckin Meyer, Matthew Senreich and Milo Ventimiglia. The voice acting I thought was really good I became a bit of a Clare Grant thanks to seeing her in The Graves and i still didn't reconise her in this episode and Seth is as great as always my only issue is I could tell straight away that Ales Borstein was playing Wonder Woman but that might because I can pick her voice out anywhere.

I won't really go on about the animation since it's an animated show and if you guys like it this will be a weekly thing but i will say that I liked the animation in this episode I think that stop motion animation really does go well with sketch comedy and they did a good job of mixing it with the CGI stuff they add in in post production.

Honestly the jokes in this episode were really freaking funny if your like me and your a fan of Indiana Jones you'll find your self laughing alot during the opening sketch that's how funny it is and it's what I love about this show it takes something your familiar with and puts a different twist on it and I won't spoil the Justice League just because you really do have to see it.

Overall this was a really funny episode and if you guys like this review that is a phrase you'll see alot of because I really do like this show and there will not be a rating on the episodes and i'm going to let you all know now that in a few weeks there will be a full review of Hot Streets.

My Brief Thoughts On Our Cartoon President

Ok then guys as you know by a previous post I did where i mention this show I was really looking forward to seeing the first episode and well the first episode was released online yesterday and i've just finished watching it so here are my brief thoughts on Our Cartoon President.

Ok so the premise of the show is The White House has opened it's doors for an all access look into the president's life. Yeah as you can most likely tell this show will be episodic in nature and i quite like it altho i had to get that summery of Wikipedia since they don't actually explain it in the show it self.

Starring as the president is Jeff Bergman who is joined by William Sadler , Zach Cherry , Gabriel Gundacker and Anna Eilinsfeld and for the pilot episode co-creator Stephen Colbert and I have to say that Jeff Bergman does a spot on impression of the president and he gives a really funny performance as do most of the cast in this first episode.

Now I have to say that this show isn't thirty minuets of bashing Donald Trump since that would get old pretty quick but it instead chooses to make him a lovable idiot and this is coming from someone who doesn't even like him and in a way i'm glad they didn't go the obvious route and just bash him for thirty minuets since that would have been far to easy.

I'm going to be frank right now i can see alot of people hating the animation heck even hating the show and judging by what people have been saying on twitter about the animation i'm right in that regard but I personally don't hate the animation that much yes it does take some getting used to but once I got used to it it was decent it wasn't anything groundbreaking but it wasn't anything awful either.

The jokes as well were a bit hit and miss but I think that's more down to the actual trailer which made the show look like it was a satire of Donald Trump and in some cases that's true but not for alot of the time and it's in those cases that the jokes don't work they still could have done a satire and showed a more human side to the president but they chose not to.

Overall i'd say that this is show that you might like and i hope that alot of people do give it a shot i know i will you can find the first episode up on Showtimes website or you can watch it when the show premiers on Showtime and February 11th as you can guess there will not be a rating since it's only one episode in but if you guys want maybe when the series ends i'll do a full review then and rate it.
