Dadnapped Film Review

When people think of Disney they usually think of the big budget films that Disney releases every single year. With them very rarely thinking about or even knowing about the fact that Disney also releases alot of films on the Disney Channel and it's one of those films that I want to talk about today and so then join me as I review that alot of people might not even remember was a thing in the first place but also stars quite alot of Disney Channel stars with the film in question being called simply just "Dadnapped" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when her successful author father is kidnapped Melissa Morris has to track him down with the help of some her dads most die hard fans. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films plot being the stereotypical kiddie affair that alot of people associate with the Disney Channel which is something that really doesn't work for this film as this film has alot of good ideas that could only be reached if this film took a more mature approach to it's storytelling with this films plot also being rather entertaining and also rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways/ at least.

Starring in this film is Emily Osment as Melissa Morris , David Henrie as Wheeze and Jason Earles as Merv Kilbo. Also starring in this film is Moisés Arias as Andre , Denzel Whitaker as Sheldon , Phill Lewis as Maurice , Charles Halford as Skunk , Jonathan Keltz as Tripp Zoome , Justice League: The Animated Series star George Newbern as Neal Morris and Wizards Of Waverly Place star Jennifer Stone as The Voice Of Debbie.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that''s actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then un all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films cast turning in the best performances that they can do as nobody expects great or even good acting from a Disney Channel Original Movie as let's be honest those don't really require great acting and yet to see good acting from this film just goes to show you that alot of this films cast are a bunch of really good actors as this film doesn't really need good acting and yet that's exactly what we get in this film with the cast is not really being helped by the fact that this films script is really pretty bad with the script not really giving the cast really alot to work with interms of what it is that their respective characters personalities is even meant to be and that is something that really does bring down the overall quality of the acting that's in this film.

The key thing to help in selling this films plot is the relation between Melissa and her father Neal Morris. Which is something that really doesn't work in this film as the film doesn't really have the chance to fully develop their relationship and as such when he does get kidnapped and they do have a heart to heart it comes out of nowhere as we the audience have very little knowledge of what their live was like and what their relationship was like which is understandable given the films short running time but if your going to have a father and daughter relationship be the main focal point of the film then the filmmakers should have gone to the effort into making sure that the audience actually cares enough about that relationship to want to see both characters meet up again which is something that the film fails to do.

To give this film credit it does a good job of hiding it's surprise villain with the film setting up another set of characters who we are led to believe is going to be the main set of villains. Only for it to turn that the person that we led to believe is the comic relief side character who's there to help the main character is infact the main villain and the people that we are led to believe are the main villains are in fact the comic relief characters who are there to help the main characters this was such a good twist as the film gives you a really solid reason to believe that this trio of characters could be the main villain in a way that while it doesn't make sense it's still just dumb enough that you kind of buy into it but sadly it's also the fact that the film doesn't give the trio of characters a really good reason to be the villains that let the film down as it would have made the film so much better and the misdirect so much better if you showed us these characters doing things that could have been evil in order to fully make us the audience believe that they could be the films main villains.

It's not hard to see why not alot of people really talk about or even remember this film for that matter as this film isn't that memorable. With the film being just the stereotypical Disney Channel Original Movie affair and really nothing more then that and that is what brings the film down and makes it less memorable as the idea alone could work for a Disney Chanel Original Movie but because they water it down so much what could be a good idea instead just becomes just another Disney Channel Original Movie and really nothing more then that which it really shouldn't be as on paper this film should have been so much more then that and on paper this film could have been one of the most memorable Disney Channel Original Movies out there and yet it's just not due to how watered down the idea is and due to the fact that the film is alot more focused on telling bad jokes then it is on telling a good story with good or interesting characters which is something that really does hurt this film in the grand scheme of things.

Just to go back to the villains for a second the actual main villain is a rather solid villain with him being played by Jason Earles. As his characters main motivation is to sell a manuscript and then kill the author in order to make the book more valuable and himself more money which is a really good idea but then they give him this weird thing where he hates his clothes getting dirty which is just done so that the film can have more bad jokes in it with the clothes getting dirty thing only being funny once and that's really it and while a villain being funny can indeed work but it just doesn't work here and because of that the film has tonal whiplash as he goes from being deadly series and straight up threatening to kill Melissa to complain that his clothes are getting dirty all in the same scene and all it does is make it known that the filmmakers had no idea what kind of villain that they wanted him to be as when he is a serious villain he is pretty creepy and really good but when he's trying to be funny it just doesn't work at all.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty three minuets and forty one seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for a Disney Channel Original Movie to have and to this films credit it really doesn't feel that long at all with the film really just flying right on by but at the same time this film really could have done with a much more longer running time just to flesh out it's characters and it's story alot more which would have helped the film out quite alot but as it is the story isn't as fully developed as it should have been and the characters just across as being very note and one dimensional which is something that really does hurt the film in the long run but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I have t actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really bad. With this film only having really one good joke in the whole entire film with the film most;y being made up of jokes that are just aren't that funny which is something that really shouldn't be the case as this films cast is made up of alot of really funny actors and yet for some reason the filmmakers give alot them really nothing funny to say or do which hurts the film as this is a comedy and as a result you expect good jokes in a comedy and yet this film fails to do even that in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall it's not hard to see why this film has very mostly been forgotten about is it really is just that bad of a film that is also one that is also really forgettable as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys ad girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Disney fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episode that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on Google Images are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Doctor Who: The Name Of The Doctor Review

As Doctor Who has been going for a log time the series has it's fair share of really popular episodes wit the likes of The Daleks and The Dalek Invasion Of Earth being another prime example of the series most popular episodes. However on the flip side of that is the fact that the series does also have alot of really unpopular episodes as well and it's one of those episodes that i'm going to be taking a look at today and so then join me as I review the episode that sees a really unexpected actor turn up to play a rather unexpected role with the episode in question being called simply just "The Name Of The Doctor" enjoy.

The plot of the episode is when his friends are threatened The Doctor and Clara go to the one place that The Doctor must never ever visit to stop a threat that wants to know the most deadliest secret in all of the universe Doctor Who?.Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad altho that that's all the issue as this episodes plot isn't that good either with this episodes plot being very weak at best and certainly not strong enough to be a season finale let alone anything more then a five minuet episode of the show but this episodes plot is also really rather entertaining and can be at times really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Matt Smith as The Doctor , Jenna-Louise Coleman as Clara Oswald and Alex Kingston as River Song. Also starring in this episode is Richard E. Grant as The Great Intelligence , Neve McIntosh as Madame Vastra , Catrin Stewart as Jenny Flint , Dan Starkey as Strax , Eve De Leon Allen as Angie , Kassius Carey Johnson as Artie , Nasi Voustsas as Andro , David Avery as Fabian , Michael Jenn as Clarence , Rab Affleck as Archie , Paul Kasey as The Whisper Man and Sir John Hurt as The Doctor.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with all of the actors that you expect a great performance from really turning in some rather solid performances. However at the same time tho the acting isn't as good as it really should have been and alot of that does come down to this episodes script with the episodes script just not being that good as while it does give the actors quite alot to work with interms of what there characters personalities are meant to be none of the characters are written all that well in this episode and as a result of that is the fact that this episodes cast just can't turn in that good of a performance as this episodes script just simply won't allow for it.

Doing the CGI for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Stargate Studios , Real SFX and BBC Wales Visual Effects. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that thew actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as this episode does feature some really good CGI but at the same time alot of the CGI effects in this episode have dated really badly which is of course of no fault of any of the effects companies working on this episode but at the same time it is a huge issue with this episode and while it doesn't make the episode bad having dated CGI effects will always be an issue with this show as this show even back in 2013 was made on a very small budget and because of that the CGI in this episode does suffer for it.

This is the episode that gives us that great cliffhanger by introducing Sir John Hurt as a previously unseen and unheard of incarnation of The Doctor. With this version of The Doctor being dubbed The War Doctor with the idea behind this character being a rather solid one as even tho we've known that The Doctor did indeed take part in The Time War in some way shape or form we don't know to what extent and seeing our current Doctor act ashamed of what The War Doctor did during that time period shows that he holds that incarnation of himself to such low standards so much so that it's a version of himself that he refuses to talk about as he broke a promise that he made to himself a promise which he believes to be against everything that The Doctor stands for and that is something that is interesting as every single time that we've seen incarnations of The Doctor meet up they usually don't get along but there usually friendly towards each other and yet here there's none of that as it's clear as day that the current version of the characters hates The War Doctor.

For an episode that's called "The Name Of The Doctor" and is built around finding out what his name actually is. We never get to find out what his name actually is which just seems like a massive as there's no need to call the episode "The Name Of The Doctor" and have the entire episode be built around finally finding out what his name is to only then not only not reveal his name but to not even give us the smallest clue as to what his name actually is all of which makes it look like that writer Steven Moffat didn't really care about this episode and had already instead turned his attention to the then upcoming fiftieth and Christmas specials when he still should have been focused on this episode and on making this episode the best that it can be instead of giving us some dodgy comedy and a plot that is at best very weak and thinly drawn out.

No where is Steven Moffat's bad writing for this episode more evident then in the fact that the plan for The Great Intelligence makes no sense. As his whole plan involves going into The Doctor's own personal time stream even tho it would kill him which just doesn't make sense as The Great Intelligence is meant to be one of the smartest villains that The Doctor has ever faced and yet he doesn't have a plan for this episode he's just doing things for no reason as if he was acting in character he would have known that killing himself won't get what he wants but instead forcing The Doctor to enter his own personal time stream might as it would then remove The Doctor from the universe and all of his greatest enemies would be free to do what they wanted and there essentially would really be no hero to stop them and thus they could take over any planet that they wanted with very little residence from anybody whatsoever.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this episodes grand total running time even  was I do know that for a fact that this episode has /had an exact grand total running time of roughly forty four minuets. Which even tho this is roughly the bogstanderd running time for this era of the show this episode really didn't need to be that long at all with this episode also not having enough there interms of plot and story to really cover that large amount of running time either with the episode really only having enough plot for ten minuets at the most with the rest of the episode just being made up of scenes designed to stretch this episodes already thin and weak plot even thinner which in turn does make this episode feel like a chore to sit though and watch but I will admit that this episode really does have so

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As even tho this episode only has one action scene in the whole entire episode it is an action scene that's done really well with it being a scene that lasts no longer then what it really needs to and even tho it doesn't really last all that long and have that many cool moments in it sometimes all you need is a quick and short action scene to get you excited and that's exactly what we got with this episodes action scene and that's really all we needed to have as it's something that advanced the episodes story by showing us what some of The Doctor's friends would've been like if he hadn't met them and that's really all it needed to do and it's something that worked really well for this episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this episode is by far one of if not the worst season finale of modern Doctor Who as while it does get you excited for the fiftieth special it doesn't really feel like a season finale in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I person ally used in this very review well then boys and girls and well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page , Wikipedia and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episode that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on Google Images are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

NiNoKuni Film Review

With there being an anime for every single person out there it means that alot of people are going to find something that they like. Well with video game movies now actually being good in America you'd be forgiven for not knowing or just straight up forgetting about the fact that Japan has been adapting video games for decades now and well I thought tat i'd take a look at a video game movie and so then join me as I review the move that is a sequel to video game with the film in question being called simply just "NiNoKuni" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when a boy and his friend find themselves transported to another world they find themselves caught up in a war between the kingdoms rulers and a bunch of rebels who want to overthrow the kingdoms king. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the issue as this films plot isn't really that good either as the films plot isn't really as fully developed as it really should have been and instead comes across as being a bad anime fan fiction and really nothing all the more then that really with this films plot not really being all that entertaining or really rather engaging either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Max Mittelman as Yū , Alejandro Saab as Haru and Abby Trott as Kotona / Princess Astrid. Also starring in this film is Erica Lindbeck as Saki / Bertha , Robbie Daymond as Gnauss Wissden , Armen Taylor as Galeroth , Patrick Seitz as Barton , Kyle McCarley as Dandy , John Snyder as King Astrum and Resident Evil: Vendetta and Naruto Shippuden star John DeMita as The Old Man.

Now then interms if what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presneted to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Altho it's not as good as it really should have been as we know from previous animated projects that this films cast can indeed turn in some really good performances when they really want to and yet for some strange reason they just don't manage to that in this film with alot of this films really OK at best acting stemming from the fact that this films script just isn't that good as it really doesn't give the cast a whole lot to work with interms of what there respective characters personalities are even meant to be and as such they just can't turn in that good of a performance as this films script just won't allow for it.

Doing the animation for this film is of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at OLM and OLM Digital. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as the film does have some really solid looking animation to it as the film does have the same look as Pokemon which does make sense given that the same animation also worked on that series as well but that's also the problem as that look and feel works for that show but it's not something that really works all that well for this film as the character designs while they look good just don't look like that they really belong in this film at all.

While this film is based of off the Ni No Kuni video game franchise is film is also a sequel to the 2018 video game Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom with this film taking place centuries after the events of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. This might be the smartest move that the filmmakers could have made as the games aren't that really well known at least in terms of the main stream media with the film not really making the games look good as the film itself is just your stereotypical fantasy affair and it makes the games look like your stereotypical fantasy affair with the film not really doing a good job of advertising the games and making people want to play the video games both of which are things that a movies that's based off of a video game should do while we know that Japan can make good video games movies alot of which are produced by OLM it's therefor weird that that exact same studio would make a movie that doesn't make people want to play the games at all.

To give this film some credit it does some interesting ideas like the fact that you can only access this other world when your pretty much close to death is a really good idea. As is the fact that this other world can seemingly heal any issues that you have like broken bones and disabilities is a really good idea and it's a sign that there's a good script in there that's just trying to get out but all it needs is the right creative team to help, make that good script come out and help to make those good ideas come out and yet for some reason everything on this film from a creative level just aren't the right team to bring this film to life this is really something that shouldn't be the case as on paper this film should've been really good as the film had the games original creator Akihiro Hino writing the script for and producing this movie and as such if there's anyone who knows this game really well it's him and yet he just can't bring out that good script.

This film feels like that it was made for the fans when that really shouldn't be the case as the games aren't that really well known in the grand scheme of things. Yes there is an argument that the games are really well known and as such there making it like that to please those fans but when your making a movie you have to make it for the largest audience possible and alot of people don't know that this movie was based of off a video game which means that they really shouldn't have made this film for the fans as it really should've been made for the general audience and if the film did make this film for a more general audience then it would open up the games as well as people could then be really more interested in playing the games if they liked the film just like if they really liked the games then chances are that there going to be watching this film.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and forty six minuets and fifty eight seconds. Which is such a long time for this film to have as when you really get right down to it that the film really doesn't have alot of plot their to cover that large amount of running time and yet even with this large amount of running time the film doesn't use it develop it's main characters with all of it's characters coming across as being rather underdeveloped which would make sense if this movie was based off of a TV series but it's not and because of that the film needs to take the time to fully develop it's characters as then we can care for them and want to see them succeed but as the film doesn't do that we instead get scenes with pointless drama that add nothing to overall plot of the film but I will admit that this film really does have some fairly solid pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action film that means that I have actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films animation really shining during the films many action scenes which is to be expected as this is something that seems to happen quite alot with alot of Japanese anime with the film also having some really good action scenes that are really exciting to see in the film with this films action scenes also doing a good job of advancing what little arc the characters are forced to go through as well and are filled to the brim with alot of really cool moments as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film really isn't a hidden masterpiece if a film nor is it a film that's that bad as it's instead that has all of the potential to be good and yet for one reason or another it's just not as good as it perhaps could have been in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Ni No Kuni fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that really alot of the images that are on Google Images are all really fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.

My Top 5 Best And Top 5 Worst Films Of The 2023

It's that time of year again as we have a yearly tradition where I tell you what my top 5 best films of the year are and what my top 5 worst films of the year are. This year it was a tougher call then usual to decide what films get what slot on what list as while the number one film for the worst films of the year list was pretty much locked down since February of this year all of the other films were in constant flux with it being even harder to find films to go on the worst films of the year list as alot of the films that were released this year nine times out of then just weren't that good and as per usual the usual rules do apply here in that each film has to have been released in the year 2023 and I have to see them so then enjoy.

Worst

5) Wish

Disney have pretty much exclusively released bad movies this year barring Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3. However this film really does take the cake as this was the film that made to celebrate the companies one hundredth year of operations and on top of that this was an animated film which is Disney's bread and butter which means that on paper this film should have very easily have knocked it out of the park and yet it just doesn't due to a very underwhelming villain whose turn to being a villain comes out of nowhere , a hero who is pretty badly written , forgettable songs and ugly looking animation this is a film that Walt Disney himself would have been most likely have been very ashamed of as it's a film that goes against his own personal ethos of creating films that are for the whole family something which modern day Disney has seemingly forgotten about.

This film does have some good points to it tho hence why it's so low down on this list like the fact that the films plot isn't that bad. With the film also boasting an all star voice cast that while alot of them are miscast in their respective roles are at the very least trying to make this films script work for them do turn in some rather solid performances with the true standout being Alan Tudyk as the goat Valentino who despite being fairly annoying at times does also manage to get in some fairly solid laughs and while the films songs are on the weaker side of things there's no denying the fact that the visuals the accompany them are well and truly stunning and there's also no denying the fact that the general idea behind the film is a really good idea but all it needed to make it a great idea was a really good script to back up which is very sadly what this films well and truly lacking in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

4) Zoey 102

The film reboot that nobody wanted from a TV show that alot of us would rather forget was even a thing. There's so much wrong with this film it's hard to find a place to start for starters alot of the original series cast is missing from the original show is missing granted some of them would have other commitments but some of them mainly Alexa Nikolas who bullied on the original show by not only the ADULT producers but also by series star and this films producer and main star Jamie Lynn Spears wasn't even asked to come back for this sequel and as a result of this this film really does feel like that it's just Jamie Lynn Spears getting her gang back together without bothering to find out if this is something that should have been done and when you add in the fact that the films plot isn't the best plot around as it just feels like the plot of American Wedding only with the Zoey 101 cast with this film also failing to recapture the magic of the original series but given what went on behind the scenes of that show that might be for the best.

As with Wish there is a reason why this film is so low down on this list and that's mainly due to the fact that the film does have some semi decent jokes in there and while the film does fail to recapture the magic and spirit of the original show it was interesting seeing where these characters are now. Tog vie the film some more credit alot of the cast are quite clearly trying their best to make the best of the films bad script but the films bad direction really doesn't help things out either as it comes across as if the films director Nancy Hower either can't get her head around the script or at best doesn't know how to direct her actors and as a result of that the cast just feel lost as they have no idea what kind of performance to give and while the film does get credit for having one or two funny moments in the film having one or two good jokes in a see of bad jokes just goes to show you that this film really isn't that good of a comedy.

                                                  3) All Of The DCEU Except For Blue Beetle

With all of the really comic book movies that were released in this past year alone it would have been super easy just to fill up with this part of the post with nothing more then comic book movies however in order to give alot more films those slots all of the comic books films barring Blue Beetle that were released as part of the DCEU have been included into this one post. As both The Flash and Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom were just bad films that aren't really that much fun to watch with both of them having a really dodgy plotline and both of them not really giving their respective main characters a satisfying ending with both films not really helping the fact that they both have very controversial stars in both Ezra Miller and Amber Heard in main roles and with Warner Bros Pictures cancelling films left and right this year it's a wonder why these two films weren't canned as they both would have saved Warner Bros Pictures quite alot of money.

Even right now it's hard to find anything that's good about both films as there were both just that bad of a film. With the only thing that comes to mind is that both films had some decent action and a few decent jokes in them but that's really it and that is also apart of the problem as both films are just forgettable films with both The Flash and Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania having what can only be best described as laughably bad CGI it's a wonder why both The Flash and Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom even got released as they both went through several rounds of re-shoots while it's not uncommon for a comic book film to undergo one or two rounds of re-shoots both films were went through at the very least anywhere between four to seven rounds of re-shoots which right there should have been a huge red flag for anyone who really is a fan of either of these truly iconic comic book characters.

2)All Of The MCU Films Barring One

Just like with the previous entry in this post the MCU released a lot of bad films this year with the overall majority of them being bad. With both The Marvels and Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania being a very good example of how not to make a comic book film as they lack anything that you'd both expect and want from a good comic book movie with both films having very laughable CGI effects heck Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania became infamous for it's bad looking CGI and both films having really bad plots with the plots of both films being at best wafer thin and at worst just down right not there and while The Marvels does get a lot of credit for being better then Captain Marvel it's still a really bad film with Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania being the worst film in a trilogy that's filled to the brim with some very mediocre comic book films.

Again just like with both The Flash and Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom outside of some decent action scenes , a few decent jokes and in the case of The Marvels a few decent acting performances. There's nothing all that redeemable about either film as Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania turned what should have been a really cool villain and a really easy villain to make look cool in MODOK and instead turned him into a laughing stock while Cassie gets turned from being this sweet and innocent likable character into someone who wasn't all that likable as she berates her superhero father who saved the universe for not doing enough and that's the vast majority of the dialog from her in that movie with The Marvels suffering from a different problem and that being the fact that the mainstream audiences didn't know who two thirds of the main characters were as they most likely wouldn't have watched either Wandavision or Mrs. Marvel and the main stream audience didn't like the first Captain Marvel film and so they really didn't like the Captain Marvel character either.

1) Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey

This film was always going to top this half of the post as I think it'll top or be near the top of alot of other people's worst films list as well. However while this film is indeed the worst film to have come out in 2023 it's one of those films where you have to see it in order to full believe that it exists and is a thing as after all a horror themed Winnie The Pooh movie does sound like something that someone would make up just for a laugh between friends and yet here are and while the film doesn't really take full advantage of it's characters nor it's setting it doesn't stop it from being a movie that's so bad that it's almost good again nor does it really stop it from being a fun movie as while yes there is no question that this film is a really bad film but that doesn't mean that it's not a fun film as there's something just oddly fun about seeing Winnie The Pooh and Piglet going around and killing random people for really no reason whatsoever.

What does go along way to making this film as bad as it is isn't the fact that they literally just used a pre-made Winnie The Pooh mask for the killer. It's the fact that the movie just ends with there being no real resolution to the films plot which is a great way to set up the films sequel but it's not something that helps this film as that is something that should have been the main focus and not on trying to possibly set up a sequel and while the film does get some credit for getting internet backing due to how strange and weird and bizarre the entire set up of the film is which did result in the filmmakers getting a much more bigger budget they sadly didn't use any of that now infamy in fixing issues with the films script and the films characters both of which are things that should have been fixed since the makers of the film had the extra time to see what needed to be fixed but then actively chose not to fix any of those issues which is something that they really should have done.

Best

5) M3GAN

It's not really possible to give his film enough credit as this is the film that on paper should have failed and yet somehow managed to become a hit film. As this film was cut down from an R rating to the much safer PG-13 which would normally be the kiss of death for any self restive horror film and yet for this film it's something that oddly works to it's advantage as it allows the film to be more fun and to have those moments of pure campyness something which might not have been possible if the film had been able to retain it's original rating and it's also due to a certain dance that the film was oddly able to find an audience on TikTok of all places which no doubt helped out with the films box office results and weather or not that kind if fame carries on towards the sequel which we are getting is something that really does remain to be seen.

The best way to describe this film is it's basically Child's Play for this younger generation but not in a way that makes the film look bad. Rather in a way that makes the film look good as the film does gave the slow build that the first Child's Play film had just like it tries to build up suspense by having us the audience wonder if it's the kid that's actually killing of all of these people or if it's M3GAN herself doing and while the first Child's Play film did pull of the suspense thing a little bit more better then M3GAN does they both have equally good slow builds which lead to a suitably over the top the final act with both films also having some really good and solid performances all throughout and both films having a memorable killer doll type of character with this films killer doll character hopefully carrying on for decades more to come.

4) Scream VI

After the massive success of Scream 2022 this sequel was very quickly rushed into development much like Scream 2 was back in 1997. However unlike Scream 2 this film wasn't able to succor the serviuces of franchise star Neve Campbell which does make this film standout as it's the only film in the series so far not to feature the franchsies main character of Sidney Prescott and it's also for now the last film to feature both Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega as Melissa was fired from  Scream 7 and Jenna couldn't make the flm due to the filming of the second season of Wednesday which is a shame as both of these wonderful actress will be missed in the upcoming sequel as and when that sequel does get released but interms of final films this one isn't a bad one for them to bow out on as it takes Ghostface to a place that he's never really been before now New York City.

With this change in location really giving us the opportunity to have some really freaky and scary scenes and that's exactly what we get. With this film being filled to the brim with alot of really creepy scenes that just wouldn't have been possible if the film had stayed in Woodsboro with this change in location also giving us the chance to see the characters try to move on from Woodsboro as well and also giving us something that we really haven't seen in a Scream opening kill before and that's the unmasking of a Ghostface which was something that was well and truly shocking and even more so when that Ghostface is then killed of by the films actual Ghostface as that now means that they could be more then one main group of Ghostfaces in any film and at any one time as well which means that our heroes have to always be on the look out as a Ghostface could be coming to get them at any moment and they just won't even know it.

3) Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3

This one film is by far the best Marvel Cinematic Universe to have come out in the past year and it's not because of who's making it either. It's because of the fact that everything about the film is alot better then both The Marvels and Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania combined as this film has actually good writing and characters that you actually like and want to see succeed and it gives an ending that is both utterly heartbreaking and completely satisfying as well something which both The Marvels and Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania failed to it with this film also taking the time to develop Rocket something which the previous two films hadn't really done and yet by doing so they also managed t make cry over a raccoon as that's just how good the writing in this film is yes this film isn't as good as the first two films were but it didn't need to be all it had to was give us a solid conclusion for these characters and it gave us that and so much more in the process.

To pretend that this film is the worst Marvel movie to come out this year is just ridiculous but to pretend that it's there best film to come out there is equally bad. As this film isn't there best film to come out this year but it's there best Marvel Cinematic Universe to come out this year despite alot of the faults that this film does have like for example spiting up the team for the vast majority of the film is a major mistake as half of the fun of these films is seeing these characters together and seeing just how they bounce of off each other so wonderfully as is getting Gamora back with the team really quickly as it would have made the film alot more interesting to have her not be with the team for the vast majority if the film and then that way you can have Peter learn to come to terms with the fact that this new Gamora might not like him and have him get to terms over the loss of Gamora herself and the film really could have brought back the whole Mantis is actually Peter's sister plot reveal from the The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special as well as that is something that could have made for an interesting plot to follow.

2) Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse

On paper both this film and the next film shouldn't have been as big of a film that they both were and yet both films managed to blow people with just how good that they both were. With this film having some truly fantastic animation , acting and plot all of which combined beautifully to to match with what the first film did so well and while it's bit of a cliche to say that the first film is so good it's truly worth saying as that this film was so good and yet this film managed to match what they did that first film effortlessly and while this film does fall into alot of the pitfalls that alot of first parts of a two part film falls into with this film basically one long trailer for the second film that doesn't stop this film from being the best Marvel film released this year with this film also having alot of really fun and funny moments in it as well.

Thus does now also mean that the third film is pretty much set up to fail as nothing less then perfect will do for this third film. That doesn't mean that it's not doable as the first film was seen by many as the perfect Spider-Man film and yet then comes along this film that matches this film in every way possible whilst also moving the plot of the films forward and also moving the characters and there respective characters arcs forward as well with this film also having some really solid action scenes in it all of which take full advantage of the fact that it's not only a comic book film but it's an animated comic book film as well which means that the film does get really creative with it's visuals during those action sequences something which would never have been if this film was made in live action as alot of modern day comic book films are afraid to be just that a comic book film as there all trying to be super serious piece of art when sometimes all you need to be is a super fun filled film with some super fun filled action sequence in it.

1) Godzilla Minus One

The number choice for the best film of the year was a tough choice as it was between this film and Across The Spider-Verse. With this film only just beating out Across The Spider-Verse as it's the second best Japanese Godzilla film ever made behind the 1954 original Gojira with this film actually doing what none of the other Japanese Godzilla films have done before it and that's make alot of money at the American box office with all of this due to the fact that it's just that damned good of a film with it being filled to the brim with good writing and good acting both of which are now sadly a rare thing to see in alot of big budgeted American blockbusters and yet this one film that cost half of that the typical MCU film costs to make has both of those things and then some and because of that people actually went several times to the cinema to go and see it.

This just proves that if you give people good writing and good acting then they will go and see your film. With this film also doing the unthinkable and that's actually making you care about the human characters whilst not taking any screen time away from Godzilla himself something which the 2014 American live action Godzilla film failed to do and because of this approach to this film it means that when Godzilla does start destroying things not only is it all really glorious to see it means that we also care about the human characters ad want to see them get out of those kinds of situations alive with this being helped by the fact that not only is the films action fantastic to see but so is the films CGI with the CGI in this film being the best CGI that's been in any Godzilla film both American or Japanese for that matter in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then a for where I personally got all f the images that I personally use in this very post well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all f the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Zoey 101 fandom wiki page , the official DC Extended Universe fandom wiki page , the official Disney fandom wiki page , the official M3GAN fandom wiki page , the official Scream fandom wiki page , the official Marvel Database fandom wiki page , Wikizilla , IMP Awards . Snow White With The Red Hair TV Series "Encounter... Changing The Color Of Fate" Review

With their being a ton of anime produced every single anime season it's understandable that people would forget about one or two of them. With the show that i'm about to review for you all today being one of the shows that alot of people seem to have forgotten about as it's a show that isn't really talked about all that much anymore at least not as much as it was when this show first airing in 2015 and so then join me as I review the episode of the show that is a better version of Snow White then the upcoming live action Disney remake with the episode in question being called simply just "Encounter... Changing The Color Of Fate" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when a young herbalist is ordered by a snooty and arrogant prince to be his mistress she runs away from her home country and quickly befriends a group of people who might change her life for the better. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as the plot of the show was rather fun and silly which is something that's to be expected from the first episode of an anime like this one with the plot itself being almost really like a fairy tale in nature as well as being really rather entertaining and was also really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Fairy Tail star Brina Palencia as Shirayuki and anime voice acting legend Todd Haberkorn as Raji Shenazard. Also starring in this episode is Dragon Ball Z star Robert McCollum as Sakaki , Attack On Titan star Josh Grelle as Zen Wisteria Clarines , Ian Sinclair as Mitsuhide Roen , Fairy Tail star Jamie Marchi as Kiki Seiran , Cole Brown as Yoshi and Wendy Powell as Kino.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad with the episodes cast doing their best to turn in a really good performance. It's a just a shame that the script for this episode just isn't that as that good as it doesn't really give the cast a whole lot to work with interms of what their respective characters personalities are even meant and as a result of that the acting in this episodes does suffer as the cast can't give the type of performance that we know that they can give as the episodes just really won't allow them to do so as it is just that bad of a script that really does let the actors down really quite a bit as the script is just that generic with there not really being anything new added to the script that would be able to help the actors in any given way shape or form in the slightest.

Doing the animation for this episode and the series as a whole is the legends and the greats that are currently over at BONES. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with the episodes animation being alot better then what it really had any right to be as this kind of show really doesn't require great or even passable animation and yet this episode has some really stunning in it which really shouldn't be all that surprise as alot of Japanese anime has alot of really good animation in them with this show not really being all that different with the backgrounds in this episode being really stunning to look at and the characters having some really nice and fluid looking movements to them.

As a romance this episode does a fairly solid job of setting up the main romance of the show with both characters being rather perfect for each other. However what lets the romance is the fact that both characters really don't know each other before deciding that there meant for each other and while yes there is a case for love at first sight that's not something that always works all the well in works of fiction with this being one of those examples as both characters barely talk about their feelings towards each other with both characters just rushing through any conversation that they have as the episode has to move along to the next plot point when it should have been just as focused if not more focused on setting up this romance properly as it's this romance that will ultimately carry the show on moving forward where the plot of the episode won't really be remembered at all past this very first episode of the show.

One of the things that I really didn't like about this episode is the fact that this episode doesn't really take full advantage of it's fantasy setting. As there's nothing in this episode that just screams fantasy with the episode just looking like that it could take place in medevil times and not some far of fantasy world with the episode not really doing all that much to make this episodes setting look like a fantasy and while that might be the point as it's essentially a fairy tale told in anime form the makers of the show still should have some effort to make the setting of this show look like an actual fantasy setting and not look like something that would be right at home in a low rent Disney film which is ultimately what we end up with this very episode and it's something that really does let the episode as all it does is remind you of the lost potential of this show's setting instead of giving us a new setting that looks different and unique we instead get a setting that looks like every other fantasy setting out there with really nothing new added to it in the slightest at all.

This episode does somewhat include a love triangle except it's not something that really works all that well. As the other person in this love triangle isn't really given any ice qualities about him with him only having a crush on Shirayuki and nothing more then that which is a shame because a love triangle is something that could have set this show apart from all of the other romance shows out there and it would have given Shirayuki a chance to see that there's more to this other character then what she's been told but yet as the makers of the show didn't go that route what we're left is a character that just like all of the other characters in this episode feel rather undercooked which means that anything cool that the show could have done with it's characters in this episode would just feel out of place as the episode doesn't really take the time to fully develop it's main characters which is understandable as this is only the first episode but if you start the characters of on rocky ground then it doesn't really matter what you do with them next because the foundations will always be rocky at best.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty four minuets and thirteen seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for any TV anime to have and to this episodes credit not only does it make the most that it can do with that running time but it does also have more then enough there interms of plot to cover that large of running time with the only real issue being that this episode is far to short as you very easily could have had this debut episode be around forty five minuets which in turn would allow for the story to be more fully developed and it would also allow for the episodes to start to be more fully developed but yet as it is the story comes of good but the characters come of a being rather undercooked but I will admit that this very really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With this episode some rather cute and funny moments in it the only real issue being tho is that episode puts more focus on the romance side of things when as it's a romantic comedy the focus should be fifty fifty and not leaning harder on either one and as such this episode does feel alot more like the first episode to a straight up romance show then it does the first episode of a romantic comedy but what comedy we do get in this episode was both cute and really funny to see in this episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this wasn't a bad first episode as it does show alot potential the issue being tho is that the episode doesn't take steps to reach potential and be as good as it really could be in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Akagami No Shirayukihime fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the official Akagami No Shirayukihime fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that really alot of the images that are on the official Akagami No Shirayukihime fandom wiki page are all really fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.
