Game Of Thrones "Winter is Coming" Review

Game Of Thrones fans it's not often that we get to chat how are you i'm fine I thought that with the show coming to an end next year that I would take this opportunity to take a look back at several past episodes and give them all the review treatment because why the hell not and what I better place to start then right at the beginning with episode 1 "Winter is Coming".

The basic plot of this episode is that Jon Arryn has been killed and the King needs a new hand of the king and in the meanwhile in young a young Daenerys finds herself doing something she really doesn't want to do. I'm trying to keep this review as spoiler free as I possibly can just because you never know who's seeing this episode for the first time and I figure that the fans of the show will already know the plot of this episode as for my thoughts on the plot it's works for a pilot episode and I think alot of that is due to the fact that the pilot is over an hour long if this episode was say forty five minuets it wouldn't work at all.

When I was first planning this review I was planning just to list the actors that appear in this episode but then I checked the Wikipedia page for season one and every actors that's in this episode is apart of the main cast so starring in this episode was Sean Bean as Eddard "Ned" Stark , Reject Fred Flintstone as Robert Baratheon , Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister , Michelle Fairley as Catelyn Stark , Sarah Connor as Cersei Lannister , Reject Sarah Connor as Daenerys Targaryen , Iain Glen as Jorah Mormont , Harry Lloyd as Viserys Targaryen , Kit Harington as Jon Snow , Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark , Maisie Williams as Arya Stark , Richard Madden as Robb Stark , Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy , Isaac Hempstead Wright as Bran Stark , The kid saved by batman in Batman Begins as  Joffrey Baratheon , Rory McCann as Sandor "The Hound" Clegane ,the guy with the ultimate slap as Tyrion Lannister and Aquaman as Khal Drogo.

I wasn't kidding when I said that every actor who appears in this episode is a member of the main cast like holy hell that's alot of actors to credit and it's not like I could only pick a select few this time since all of them play big roles. In terms of the acting I have to say that for a pilot episode the acting is pretty good for the most part but what is really interesting looking back on it is the fact that the acting from the child actors isn't that good like at least in this first episode but even so you can tell that there's a lot of talent from them.

It's common knowledge that the pilot we got was not the one that was originally shot back in 2009 there was alot of cast changes between that pilot and this one with perhaps the biggest two being Jennifer Ehle as Cat and Tamzin Merchant as Daenerys and that at least 90% of the footage was re-shot and I have to say that you really cannot tell what was 2009 footage and what was 2010 footage because of how well hidden and how well it flows altho one of Jennifer's scene is in the final episode it's the scene with Cat and Sansa where Cat is brushing her hair they just added in Michelle in post production.

I'm sure that i'm not the only one who noticed this on a second viewing but Catelyn does a little bit of foreshadowing when talking to Bran it might not be but if you listen to what she says and if you watch the end of the episode either she could secretly see the future and was just being kind or she was foreshadowing what happens later in the episode it's one or the other.

I'm going to say it i'm a huge Dany fan I have been since day one and I think she will come out of the series on top and I really liked her introduction scene in this episode to me she looked like a doll she was that fragile that scene was also shot so well you can just see that she's lost in her own thoughts and it makes you wonder what she's thinking and by the end of it your left wondering how she got into this mess.

Speaking of her introduction scene her brother really was a creep even tho I know what happens to him later on in the series I still wanted to punch him in the face but tho that goes to show you not only how good the writing for this show is but also how good Harry Lloyd is in the role he makes you really want to hate him and that's what a good villain should do and he in my mind plays a key part in the growth of Daenerys since if he wasn't being a bully to her then she wouldn't learn to toughen up and to be an all-round badass.

Game Of Thrones wouldn't be the show it is today without the pure awesomeness that is Peter Dinklage and while he is more awesome in the second this episode gives us a hint of how awesome he can be in this show there really no words to describe how great of an actor this dude really is because any words that I could think of have been said by other people when they reviewed this episode but the man deserves any and all praise he gets because even when he's something bad he's still the best thing init.

What is interesting at least if your a fan of the show is looking back and seeing how not only the characters but also the story got started for me it was interesting seeing how these characters who go onto to become main players start out as naive people Sansa's only goal right now is to get married and that's it that is a long way from where she was in seasons six and seven the same thing can also be said for Arya who in a few short seasons would become pretty much one of the show's best fighters and in this episode she spends alot of time fighting with her sister.

It wouldn't be Game Of Thrones without blood and gore the two just go so well together and I have to say that I honestly thought that there was alot more gore in this episode like I could have sworn that there was alot more but no there's only a small amount of gory scenes in this episode and I thought that the gore effects looked really good even tho some of them are seen from quite far away it looked really decent and the same can also be said for the blood.

Overall this isn't a bad first episode to a great series and it is fun looking back seeing how the show began and to let all of you GOT fans know this will NOT be a weekly thing and I WON'T be looking at the episodes in release order it will be whenever i'm bored and i'll watch random episodes this pilot episode gets a 9.5 out of 10 from me.

Doctor Who "The Tsuranga Conundrum" SPOILERISH!!!!!!!!!!! Review

Doctor Who fans so far this series has been pretty freaking awesome and out of all the reviews i've done so far this is the one that almost never happend due to technical difficulties but if your seeing this review then I was clearly able to post it so here is my possibly spoilerish review of The Tsuranga Conundrum.

The plot of this weeks episode is after getting caught up in an explosion the doctor and friends find themselves on board a ship which also ends up being under attack from a monster. Yeah in terms of plot this episode is fairly lacking and it's pretty straight forward but it is still a fun premise and is something that is typical Doctor Who in my opinion.

The guest stars for this episode are Brett Goldstein as Astos , Lois Chimimba as Mabil ,Suzanne Packer as Eve Cicero , Ben Bailey-Smith as Durkas Cicero , David Shields as Ronan and Jack Shalloo as Yoss. For me the guest actors were just ok really nothing special in terms of overall performances altho I personally did like both Astos and Mabil it's just a shame that neither were given a lot to do in the episode.

Of course our main heroes for the episode are Jodie Whittaker as The Doctor , Bradley Walsh as Graham , Tosin Cole as Ryan and Mandip Gill as Yaz. Ok we've just come of a Yaz centric episode and after weeks of people saying that she's not really doing much in the episodes in this episode she still does pretty much nothing performance wise the people who you expect by now to deliver great performances do do that but at this point in the series we should know a bit more about Yaz.

Ok guys you have had a fair warning but everything from this point on will include some possibly slight spoilers for me another useless character in this episode was Ronan and Yoss just because neither one really added anything to the story they were mostly there just so there was more people to save and that was about it and lets be honest when we all found out that Ronan was a robot we all started to thing of David from the alien prequels and if you didn't then your lieing.

Something which I don't get why they needed to include in this episode was the death of Eve they could have had her get better at the end of the adventure but some reason they killed her off it was a pointless plot point since at that time she hadn't spent alot of time on screen with her brother so we don't really get that emotional feeling when she does eventually die her death could have meant something if we saw them sharing alot more screen time but nope they chose not to do that.

Guys please someone tell me that I wasn't the only one that was reminded of the Porgs from The Last Jedi when P'Ting showed up there just so cute and adorable how are they meant to be taken seriously as a threat I want to give them big hugs not run away from them altho I will admit the fact that they want to eat everything is a pretty cool idea.

The overall quality of the CGI for me was great this episode in fact it's been really good the whole series so far for me the quality of the CGI being shown in this series is movie quality and the best example of that in this episode is easily P'Ting he /she / whatever looks really and looks like they are really there and I can totally see them being sold as toys which is I think the only reason they look as cute as they do.

Overall this was a solid episode not a great one by any stretch of the imagination but also not a bad one it's one that you can have on in the background and have it as purely background noise and if that's what you want then this is the episode for you but those who don't want that will hate this episode for me tho this episode gets a 7.5 out of 10 and don't forget to join me next week as I review "Demons of the Punjab".

High School Of The Dead AKA Highschool Of The Dead Anime Review

Anime fans you might not know this but I also like horror and horror fans you might not know that I like anime I mention that because I very rarely talk about something that is both something to do with horror and something to do with anime but that is coming to an end right now as I review the anime version of High School Of The Dead sometimes called Highschool Of The Dead.

There is no real plot to this series there's just the basic set up which is a zombie outbreak has occured and some high school students try to survive it. It's not really an original plot since that's the plot for a lot of zombie shows and movies but I don't think it's involved high school students before so that is kind of a refreshing twist on things and seeing how they deal with certain situations does make for some interesting viewing to say the least but it still would have been nice if there was an actual plot to speak of.

Now i'm reviewing the dubbed version of the show just because that's the version of the show that I was introduced to so starring in this version of the show is Leraldo Anzaldua as Takashi , Jessica Boone as Rei , Taylor Hannah as Saeko , Maggie Flecknoe as Saya Takagi , Mark X. Laskowski as Kohta , Monica Rial as Shizuka and Brittney Karbowski as Alice AKA Arisu.  Since this is the version of the show that i grew up with i'm a little bias when it comes to the cast but even I can admit that at times the acting isn't that great but for me it didn't hinder my enjoyment of the show since the overall show isn't that good anyways.

There's no way i can do a review of this show and not mention the passing of the manga's original creator Daisuke Satō his passing was truly tragic as all deaths are but when you add in the fact that he never technically finished this story that to me makes it all the more tragic because now we will forever be left wondering what happens next and for those wondering I have read the manga but even that isn't a complete story I know this will never happen anytime soon but it would be nice if someone else took over writing the series to finish the story.

Madhouse is the company that supplied the animation for the show and for me the animation is a pretty mixed bag because it is good when it comes to the action scenes but when it comes to the dialog heavy scenes it looks weird like the animators didn't have enough time to take another crack at it so they were forced to leave it as it is.

I know that alot of people find this show to be dumb and stupid but the way I see it is this is the anime version of the fast & furious franchise in that while there are elements that are indeed dumb it's the kind of show that really won't require you to think or use your brain this is the type of show that's just meant to be fun and nothing else and for me that's fine we don't always need or want shows that require us to think sometimes we just want a dub show that we can have playing in the background and this is one of those shows for me.

Perhaps the most famous or infamous scene in anime history is in this series it's what is more commonly known as "The Matrix Boobs" scene and it pretty much speaks of it self in context of the show this scene does work since the tone of the show is that of something that's not meant to be taken seriously but at the same time for many people this was the scene that pushed it a little to far and I can see where those people are coming but at the same time it is in line with the overall tone of the show.

This is perhaps the most ecchi show i've seen there's several boob shots and pantie shots in every single episode now I love a good ecchi show as much as the next guy but even I was getting tired of seeing the same kind of pantie and boob shots in the episodes and it was during the watching for this review that i came to the conclusion that this show was made for fourteen to fifteen year old boys.

Don't you worry horror fans I havn't forgotten about you because like I said when explaining the set up for the show there are zombies featured in this show infact now that I think about it they could be seen as the main antagonist of the show because there always a threat to our main heroes like they could turn a corner and there could be a whole swarm of them but tho the zombies kind of take a backseat to the ecchi scenes which depending on how you see things could either be a good thing or a bad thing I personally view it as a bad thing since I want to see more zombies in this zombie show.

I'm not sure if people remember this or not but for a while there was a zombie craze going on in Hollywood with not only alot of movies being made featuring the undead but also TV shows this is mostly due to the success of *sigh* the Twilight saga and The Walking Dead but tho one of the things that has never been turned into a movie was this franchise and for that's a shame because at the time it would have been a hit think about it you have the fans of the anime / manga going to see it and you have people who like zombies going to see it that right there is alot of people going to see your movie.

In anime we anime fans always like to find what is known as "best girl" it's kind of hard to describe exactly what that means since it changes depending of who you ask but for me there are at least four candidates for the best girl of this anime and there all the four older girls you see in the above picture i've always been a Saeko (purple hair) and Rei (brown hair) fan so much so that when I got Lollipop Chainsaw I bought there costumes but when I was watching it this time round I found myself also liking both Takagi (pink hair) and Shizuka (blonde hair) and all for pretty much the same reason they are all badasses all of them at some point have a moment where they do something truly badass and cool.

Something that to me was extremely hit and miss was the shows comedy don't get me wrong there was some jokes that worked but for every joke that did work they would add in a line which to me came across as something that was obviously added in the dub and it just wouldn't work at all in fact it was rather jarring but the jokes that do work are cute there not laugh out loud funny but they will get a smile of out of you.

If your expecting this to me a straight up horror show you'd be wrong because there's alot of action thrown in there granted it's whenever the gang have to fight of a horde of zombies but it's still there and to me that's when the animation is at it's best because those scenes are so much fun to watch and that's when all of the cool stuff happens you get to see gun nut Kohta take out multiple zombies with a few bullets and Saeko pretty much be this show's version of michonne from The Walking Dead.

Unlike alot of anime this show had a different ending performed by the singer of my personal favorite being the one at the end of episode 7 Fuss Fuzz by Maon Kurosaki I just loved how that song not only worked well in the sequence before it but it was also a really good song and the opening is Highschool of the Dead" by Kisida Kyoudan & The Akebosi Rockets this is just such a catchy as heck song so much so that when I was watching it I would start singing along to it.

Overall this isn't a good show not by a mile but if your looking for a show that's just pure fun and knows it's meant to be pure fun then you can't really go wrong here but if your looking for something more then that then I suggest you look somewhere else for me tho the show gets a 5.5 out of 10 from me and if your on anime amino this is where I get my name from.

Viz: The Pieman's Wig Annual 2019 Review

Comics fans i'm British and more importantly i'm from the north of England I mention all of this because not only am I reviewing my first British comic strip and it's one that i'm sure alot of older fans will love so here is my review of Viz: The Pieman's Wig.

I really would like to comment on the plot of the stories except each strip has no real plot since it's a collection of stories from previous issues of the magazine so you can really read any of the stories and have a fair understanding of the characters as well as the world that they live in. I will say that like alot of things in this book the stories are very adult so please do NOT read anything from Viz unless you are over the age of 18.

Due to the adult nature of Viz comics the images I use won't be from the actual book itself and the names of certain strips will have to be edited but I will say that if you love character names with great puns or names that just make you laugh then this is the series for you because there are names like Billy the Fish someone who is half man half fish and is a footballer (soccer player) , Buster Gonad and his Unfeasibly Large T*******s does it really need saying why this is a great name , The Fat S***s these are two women who love s** and food. 

There are honestly more great funny names in the book but these are just the best ones in my opinion and yes I did have to censor some of the names but tho that's just because I want to make sure that alot of people remain happy with the post and it's honestly because alot of the names are quite rude and yes there is a chance that you'll be hearing me say that it's a rude book many times in this review.

One of the things that the magazine became famous for is it's spoof news articles like for example the one seen in the above picture and I will say that like alot of things in this book I was laughing quite a bit of the time while reading some of the headlines unfortunately tho I cannot supply you with any of them mostly because i've forgotten alot of them so you'll just have to trust me on this but tho I will say that you will get the jokes not only in this book but also in the news articles if your British.

Speaking of being British all of the shows characters live in the north of England which is where yours truly is from and if you are from the north then you might pick up on where some of the characters are from because like any good comic strip does it doesn't tell you out right where they are from instead it lets you work out from certain words that the characters use.

As you might have seen by the two actual images from Viz magazine the art style for each strip is exactly the same i'm not even kidding outside of the characters there's nothing to tell each strip apart to me that is both a good and bad thing good because it means that these characters can live in the same universe but bad because there are times were you can't tell where one strip ends and the other begins so having something visually to tell us that were reading another strip would have been nice.

I don't really think I can stress enough how adult this book and the magazine is heck if you want prove of how adult this series is just try and work out some of the words that i've censored that alone should give you some idea of what to expect in this book because yes each of the characters that i've listed does appear in this book at least several times but the jokes in those strips are usually all different which is good.

Now this isn't the first time that Viz have put out an annual infact they do it at least once a year and they pretty much have done since either the late seventies or the early eighties I can't really tell since there's no way of finding out for sure but all of them collect the best bits from previous issues I like to think of them as a more funny version of the collected editions from either Marvel or DC.

Overall it is a really funny and adult book but at the same time I think that only us British would like it since alot of the jokes would fly over everyone else's head and since this is a collection of stories i'm not going to give a rating mostly because I am a fan of Viz but also because I can't think of one.

Doctor Who "Arachnids in the UK" SPOILERISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review

Doctor Who fans the show has a habit of making scary episodes and indeed some of the shows best episodes are the ones that have scared us but will this weeks episode be one that puts us behind the sofa or will it be one that has us rolling our eyes well find out in my review of Arachnids in the UK.

The plot of this weeks episode is the team find themselves back in Sheffield only this time there's a problem with the spiders and it's up to our gang of heroes to find out what's going on and put a stop to it. The plot for me was perhaps the weakest aspect of the story just because it's almost very predictable so you know where certain story beats are going before they even happen but tho the bits that you couldn't see coming I thought worked really well.

Guest starring in this episode is Chris Noth as Jack Robertson , Shobna Gulati as Najia Khan and Tanya Fear as Dr Jade McIntyre. Honestly for me some of the guest actors in this episode did a really good job I can't imagine that acting in this episode was easy since the spiders are all CGI so they did a good job in that regard but Tanya was just lacking any emotion for me personally.

Of course also in this episode is Jodie Whittaker as The Doctor , Bradley Walsh as Graham , Tosin Cole as Ryan and Mandip Gill as Yaz. Thank the heavens they gave Yaz something to do in this episode for three straight weeks she's just been in the background doing next to nothing but here she actually plays a part in the main plot of the episode I don't really think that this needs to be said but Bradley is just killing it this series every scene he's in he's great and I cannot wait to see more of him and from here on out there will be mild spoilers so you have been warned.

I saw this on twitter I think it was either the day of the episode or the day before but someone had posted a picture from the IMDB page for this weeks episode which had listed Sharon D. Clarke who of course died in the first episode of this series and I have to say the way she appears in this episode is very much like how Clara appeared in Heaven Sent except this time you actually get to see her face and hear her voice and it fed really well into the grief that Graham is going through.

I don't know if anyone else got these kind of vibes but while watching the episode I was reminded very much of the villains from the Planet Of The Spiders episode from the classic era I was honestly shocked that one of the spiders didn't start talking I really cannot be the only one that was reminded of that episode.

Speaking of story beats that you knew were coming the whole kind of sub plot with the companions choosing to stay with The Doctor we all knew right away that they were all going to stay because they've been featured on pretty much every piece of marketing for this series so there was no way in hell they were going to leave the show after just four episodes if this was say the third episode then I might have been more believable but they chose episode four and this was after all of the trailers have shown them in scenes that weren't in this episode.

This episode was for me at least very creepy and before you say anything I don't actually mind spiders but it's due to the fact that the spiders could come out of know where which to me is a really creepy idea and the fact that they were acting like the giant spider from Return Of The King who was freaking creepy only added to the creep factor to me.

I have to mention the new Time Vortex now i'll admit that I had this spoiled for me on Twitter so I knew it was coming I just didn't know when and when it showed up on screen I was blown away by how stunning it was and how once you go through one hole it then leads to several different holes you can go through and all of the colors just really popped for me that's one of the few things I can say is consistent throughout this series is that everything is visually stunning and it looks like it belongs in a movie.

Overall this episode was never going to be as good as last weeks episode but in terms of scary episodes this one does hold up pretty well it's not the scariest at least in my opinion but then again what might not scare me might scare some of you so this episode gets a 7.5 out of 10 from me.#TeamTardis

My Little Pony: Best Gift Ever Review

MLP fans the show is currently on a brake between seasons so what have Hasbro done to ease us throw the long months well they decided to release a Christmas special in October and so after weeks of waiting here is my review of My Little Pony: Best Gift Ever.

The plot of this special is it's almost Hearth's Warming and the mane six decide to get each other one gift and thus the search is on to find that one special gift. Yes the plot is that of your typical christmas special and it goes exactly how you think it would go but tho there's something about the way this special tells the story that makes it somehow feel fresh maybe it's the short run time or the fact this special has the right amount of humor either way the story is well told.

I don't think it needs saying since all of the actors are returning from the show but starring in this special is Tara Strong as Twilight Sparkle , Ashleigh Ball as Rainbow Dash and Applejack , Andrea Libman as Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy , Tabitha St. Germain as Rarity , Cathy Weseluck as Spike and John de Lancie as Discord. I honestly thought that the acting in this special was better then in most episodes of the recent season and I think that's because in the special the actors were allowed to have a bit more fun with there characters and that to me made this special more enjoyable.

This is a trend i'm noticing more and more every year but why in the heck is a christmas special being released in October it's not even been Halloween yet and there's a christmas special out look I know that the show is made to sell toys but couldn't the special have aired in say early to mid November they could have given us time to celebrate Halloween before we move onto christmas but they don't and I don't know why that is.

I'm not going to list who did the animation for this special since i've done enough MLP reviews for people to know who did the animation but I will say that the animation here was pretty decent nothing really look off to me I will say that due to the special featuring alot of snow some of the backgrounds looked the same there was really nothing to make the backgrounds truly stand out but that's only a minor issue and one you have to expect when watching an animated christmas special.

For those wondering if this show is canon or not i'd say yes just because in the opening musical number you do see some students from Twilight's school and even the school it self gets a passing mention but i'm not going to say that you need to watch this special because honestly I don't think you need to not unless you need to get your pony fix.

If you know the show then you can take a pretty good guess at what this special's lesson is because it's the same as it is in most season premiers and finale's but I will say that the way this special teaches that lesson is really nice and sweet but I can't help but wonder if they couldn't find a different lesson to teach little kids like anything else would have worked but they have to stick to the same old lesson that's been tought time and time again for eight seasons and a movie.

Now I recall seeing the trailer for this special up on Youtube either in the summer or early Autumn so I knew we were getting an early christmas special from quite early on but I had forgotten all about it that was until last night were I had a dream about this special and then I wake up this morning and log on and what do I find up on Kimcartoon this very special that is freaky as hell.

I wasn't expecting this special to be as funny as funny as it was I was legit laughing out loud at few jokes in this special I will admit that not all of the jokes in this special work infact a few of them don't but that's to be expected in an hour long episode but the ones that are funny are in my eyes really good and yes I did get the joke with the three raindeers which was honestly a cute little joke.

The special features two songs written by Micheal Vogel and Daniel Ingram with Vogel also serving as the writer for the episode those songs are "One More Day" and "The True Gift Of Gifting" both of which I thought were really good songs I really cannot think of a song in this show that's bad there are some that aren't that great but none that are flat out bad and out of the two featured in this special my personal favorite was "The True Gift Of Gifting" just due to how personal that song felt to me and it nearly had me chocking up.

Overall this was a decent special nothing really special it doesn't do anything new or different with it's christmas setting but if you have little ones or if you yourself like this franchise then there's no harm in watching this episode for me it gets a 6 out of 10.

  

Doctor Who "Rosa" SPOILERS!!!!!! Review

Doctor Who fans for once i'm really stuck with what to say for an intro if you've seen the episode i'm reviewing then you'll know why and in my opinion we might have just seen not only the best episode of this series but also the best episode of New Who as a whole so here is my review of "Rosa".

The plot of the episode is the Doctor and company find themselves in 1955 Alabama and they meet a very important historical figure. That's really all I can say without giving to much away because you really do need to see this episode there's not really much I can say that won't give away the plot of the episode but I can say that it is worth watching just for the story alone.

Now I was going to start talking about the performances from the leads in next weeks episode but since this episode is so good i'm going to start doing it now in short everyone really does deliver in this episode Jodie I really feel is going to be a highlight in every episode I admit when she was first announced I had my doubts just because I hadn't seen her in anything dramatic but she is really killing it in this series. 

In terms of the companions Bradley is so freaking good he's not just there to do the odd funny line and nothing else he does get alot of emotional scenes and that proves how good he is as an actor Tosin Cole is ok not really anything special for me and the same goes for Mandip Gill who does get alot more to do in this episode but she is yet to have a standout moment for me but who knows maybe she will next week.

In terms of guest cast we have Trevor White as James Blake , Joshua Bowman as Krasko and Vinette Robinson as Rosa Parks and I don't really think that it needs saying but the best performer out of all of the guest cast for me is easily Vinette who just simply a joy to watch in this episode I can only imagine what it was like for all of the cast and crew when it came to filming this episode and i'm glad that everyone put in there best efforts.

There we go you've had your warning from now on we will be going full on spoilers just because there's quite alot I have to talk about and one of them is the villain of the episode Krasko in my opinion not enough was done with him they only have him show up once or twice and have him act menacing and that's not enough for me but given how good the overall episode I can forgive them for giving him that much attention.

Doctor Who has always had a history of including historical figures so the fact that they included one in this series wasn't a big shock to me but it did have me worried that they shy away from certain aspects of what made this person so iconic and within the first three minuets I was so happy because we got a scene of someone acting racist and when that scene ended I clapped because I thought that it's the BBC so they won't show it but no they did and not only that they continued to show how racism was back in those days.

What I didn't really think they would shy away from given that two of the members of the core cast are people or color is other people being racist to them and honestly that made me feel for those characters even more and it's not just a one time thing it's something that happens alot during the episode and it gets to the point where The Doctor is almost fearing for there lives because she knows that if they stay there much longer then they'll most likely end up dead.

Given by what i've just said i'd say that this is perhaps the most scariest episode of this series because the villain isn't an alien life form it's real people yes I know that I said that Krasko was the villain but you could also say that the people are the villains of the episode as well and that to me makes this episode so much more scarier because we as people know how other people might react to certain things so if your in fifties America then chances are some people of color will end up dead for no real reason what so ever.

I really liked that for this episode the team took on almost an Ocean's Eleven type of vibe you see them planning everything that there going to do and you see them getting all of the things that there going to use to get the job done to me just seeing that was really fun and it was important to have that sense of fun given how heavy the subject matter of the episode is.

Overall I cannot say how much of a great episode this really was i'm not going to say it's an important one because I think that sort of thing should be left up to time to decide but it's a must watch for me I don't think this needs saying but this episode is going to get a perfect 10 out of 10 from me it's that good and it's the first Doctor Who episode i've reviewed to get that score.
