My Top 5 Cutest Anime Girls

Welcome to the first of two anime themed posts i'm doing today this one is going to focus solely on females and which ones i think are cute / attractive now i want you all to know that these are just my opinions so if there's a girl you like who isn't on here then she's either lower down on the list or i havn't seen the series / film so let's get on with it.

5) Rei Miyamoto (HighSchool Of The Dead)

I know alot of people either don't like or didn't watch HighSchool Of The Dead but i did and i'll admit that upon reflection Rei doesn't have much of a personality but she looks good with a gun and she kills alot of zombies.

4) Saeko Busujima (Highschool Of The Dead)

She was my first anime crush and she's here because unlike Rei she actually has some form of a personality even if it's not much of one plus she was a key part in what has no become the most famous scene in Highschool Of The Dead i'm of course talking about Matrix Boobs. This girl is also a really talented fighter and she can easily take on a lot of zombies just by her self that's how awesome she is.

3) Mitsuha Miyamizu (Your Name)

This list isn't just counting women from anime series and when thinking of my number three slot the only real person i could think was the female lead from Your Name Mitsuha she goes through alot in that film and not only does she come out of it she helps safe most of her town.

2) Shirayuki (Snow White With The Red Hair)

Honestly this was a tough call to make but in the end i'm glad i put her here because Shirayuki is a well written female character plus like Mitsuha she is drawn in a really cute way so you have no choice but to fall in love her.

Honorable Mention

Yona (Yona of The Dawn)

I put Yona as an honorable mentioned because i havn't seen the rest of the series yet i've only seen those first twelve episodes but from what i've seen of her i can see that she's going to become a total badass and in the first twelve episodes she has plenty of badass moments and that to me makes her all of what i said in the intro.

1) Ruby (Love Live! Sunshine!!)

Honestly any of the girls from Aqours could have easily filled this spot but Ruby is cuteness overload she goes out of her way to make others happy even if it means she ends up being un-happy plus she has the cutest catchphrase Do your Rubesty! which pretty much means Do Your Best.

My Top 10 Beautiful Female Cartoon Characters

A little under a year ago Watchmojo released a video called Top 10 Hottest Female Cartoon Characters and for the most part it was the type on content you'd see from them except they miss of characters everyone pretty much agrees are hot so i'm here today to present my own top 10 list with the a different title and unlike Watchmojo i'm going to include movie characters as well and if your favorite show isn't mentioned then it's because i didn't watch it.

10) Penelope Pitstop

She was a mainstay on both the original and the remake of Wacky races but there's nothing really more to her other then looks which is why she's so low on this list if anything she's more of a damsel in distress kind of character but she's still beautiful.

9) Riley's Mum

She is more then just traditionally beautiful she cares for daughter even tho we don't really spend much time with her in the movie we see enough to get a sense of who she is as a person and that to me makes her very beautiful both inside and out.

8) Pebbles Flintstone (Teenager)

There's no other way to put this Pebbles when she's a teenager is a knockout and that's really all i have to say since the picture above really does speak for it self.

7) Helen Parr / Elastigirl

Not only is she a superhero but she's also a stay at home mom and she has to do all the things that being at stay at home mom entails but my god does she look great in that red suit i'm trying not to make this solely based on looks but it's hard when the characters look so good.

6) Caitlin Snow

This is technically cheating since Caitlin appears in the live action TV show version of The Flash but since Danielle Panabaker also voices the character on The Ray i figured i can include her. She is not only beautiful but she's also smart like super smart and she has her PHD so she has brains as well as beauty.

5) Velma Dinkley

This adorkable girl has been rocking the sweater and glasses look for well over fifty years and she looks just as good now as she did back then and like the previous entry she wields both brains and beauty altho with all the times she looses her glasses you'd think she would have swapped them out for contacts.

4) Xena

Like with the Caitlin entry this is a bit of a stretch since she first appeared in live action but since she got an animated movie i'm going to include her this girl is drop dead stunning and she'd most likely kill you for even looking at her wrong but that goes to show how badass she truly is she's a strong female character and we need more of those.

3) Wonder Woman 2009 Film Version

Honestly you could take all of what i'm about to say and apply it to any version of the character since it holds true to all of them she's not afraid to get her hands dirty when she has to , she's not afraid to call you out on things when you mess up and apart from being stunning she's also perhaps the strongest female character on this list.

2) Daphne Blake

She's either the Scooby gangs resident fashion girl or there resident nut ball but one thing's remained the same she is one of there resident beautiful girls altho in the early runs of the show she did get herself into danger these days she's more likely to help get someone else out of danger then get herself in it.

1) Betty / Wilma

Honestly it was hard for me to choose which of these two would get the top spot and if you remember when i said Watchmojo missed of characters everyone agrees is hot these are two examples heck Wilma is so hot that in the 2015 animated movie The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age SmackDown! they had a scene where she appears in a bikini.

Recovery Of An MMO Junkie Review

Anime fans you've seen me review alot of anime movies before but the one thing you've never seen me do is a review an anime series well as of right now that all changes as i proudly present my review of Recovery Of An MMO Junkie.

The plot of the series is Moriko Morioka is a 30-year-old single NEET woman. After dropping out from reality she has taken off in search for a fulfilling life and ended up in a net game or "netoge." In the netoge world she began her new life as a refreshing and handsome character named Hayashi. While starting out as a beginner a pretty character named Lily reached out to help her. Meanwhile in the real world awaits a shocking encounter with a good looking elite company employee a mysterious blue-eyed blonde. I have to say that i really enjoyed the whole story for the show and i never really knew where it was going ok i'll admit i guessed how somethings would play out in episode 1 but apart from that i had no clue where we end up and i liked that.

Now since i've only seen this dubbed i'm only judging the dub cast with that that said the dub cast does include the likes of Terri Doty , Aaron Dismuke , Natalie Hoover , Josh Grelle and Ian Sinclair. Overall i thought the acting was shockingly good and i say that because i had no clue at all what to expect from this series and some of the show more dramatic moments are helped more by the cast and director and writer for the show.

I have to admit that until the final episode i never got what the recovery aspect of the show was but i think i've got it now and to me at least that aspect is the fact that Morioka (the female lead) is trying to move forward in her life and she's trying to get over her self esteem issues but then again i could be wrong completely and if i am please do feel free to tell me so in the comments below.

The actual animation was done by Signal. MD and i have the animation for me at least was a bit of a let down yes it's not movie quality but it's barely TV quality that's not to say things don't look nice and that there isn't alot of effort put into it but there's a lot of scenes in the scenes which just look off and they could have done with another drawing to help make the scene look better.

Another thing i actually found refreshing was the fact that even tho this has the comedy label it's not an out and out comedy in fact it plays up alot more of the dramatic aspects then it does the comedic ones yes there are a few funny moments here and there but they aren't the focus of the show it's characters are and that's where the good acting comes into play.

I do have to say tho that after watching all ten episodes i can totally see where they could go if the show produces a second season and it would make sense given how the show ends weather or not it would be the right fit for the characters tho i'm not to sure.

Despite having an the name MMO in it's title the show only spends i'd say around 50% of it's total time in an actual game with the rest of the time being spent in the real world and that's great if you don't like anime set inside a game which honestly at this point there's way to many of those but if your like and you don't mind those shows then you'll be a little disappointed as we never really get to know the world where the game is set and that's a shame because it looks like a visually interesting world.

Overall i'd say if you like either romance , slice of life or comedy anime then you might like this show as you guess from this review i really liked the show and yes i know there's technically an episode 11 but it was released as an OVA so in my mind that doesn't count so i give Recovery Of An MMO Junkie a solid 7.5 out of 10.

Some Animated Films Coming Out In 2018

2018 is no longer upon us it's here and that means we get a whole host of new movies to talk about but for this list i'm only looking at the animated side of things and please note i won't be listing all of the animated films coming out this year only a small handful and not all of them will be good so here we go.

Isle Of Dogs

This film written and directed by Wes Anderson looks fantastic and looking at the cast list on Wikipedia i can say that the cast is freaking impressive we have the likes of Bryan Cranston , Edward Norton and Bill Murray among many more providing voices.

Woody Woodpecker

Yeah when I said some of the films on this list might not be good this was one of the films I was talking about but that doesn't change the fact that it's happening nor does it change the fact that Woody looks hideous and is really freaking annoying.

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight

There's going to be alot of DC animated films coming out this year but Gotham By Gaslight is the one that comic book fans are excited about the most now i havn't read the original story but i do know that the movie features Batman taking on Jack The Ripper.

Early Man

As you guys know i'm a fan of Aardman Animations and this film looks like Aardman at there best it also helps that they a pretty good cast with the likes of Eddie Redmayne , Tom Hiddleston and game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams all doing voices for the film.

Duck Duck Goose

This is one film where i have no clue if it will be good or not i mean parts of the trailer look funny but then it cuts to something like a fart joke so we will have to wait and see on this one.

Incredibles 2

There you go guys Incredibles 2 is on this list since there's no full trailer for the film released yet i can't fully say if this will be good or not but going of the teaser trailer i can say it will at least be entertaining and we all know this will make a killing because of the fact it has a die hard fan base.

Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold

When i first saw the trailer for this film i laughed and not because it looked good but because for me the film looked pretty bad and yes i know Scooby has teamed up with Batman before but the two franchises do not occupy the same fictional world so how are they going to explain the Scooby gang suddenly bumping into the DC gang? It makes no sense at all.

Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero

To prove that not all animated films have to comedy's we have this little gem it's based on a true story about a dog who becomes a hero during World War 1 and i have to say it looks to be truly heart breaking and heartwarming and i look forward to seeing it.

Smallfoot

There's only been a teaser released for this film but i will say that based of that teaser the film does look to be pretty funny of course weather or not that turns out to be true or not only time will indeed tell.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

This is the film which had a trailer that took the internet by storm and it's not hard to see why the film looks amazing and for once we have someone other then Peter Parker being Spider-Man we now have fan favorite Miles Morales in the tights and in his first ever film.

My Top 10 Favorite NXT Women

Now i don't usually let people know this unless they know a secret handshake after which they have to be taken a train station in Manchester and wait for a man in a black suit who will then tell them that i am indeed a wrestling fan and here are my top 10 favorite female wrestlers who are either currently in or once wrestled for NXT.

10) Becky Lynch

This Irish lass-kicker has been kicking butt on the main roster for a few years and while she's not the most successful she is certainly one of the most talented. She's not seen a championship for a few months but there might be a good reason for that as she's been cast in the new Marine movie.

9) Alexa Bliss

She is 5 feet worth of fury and as well as being a talent in the ring she's also quite the cosplayer with her cosplaying as Freddy Krueger and Harley Quinn among many more honestly if she keeps on going on the path she's on now i can very easily see her becoming a Hall Of Famer one day.

8) Paige

This superstar has had a troubled time with the WWE with to many suspensions to count but that doesn't take away from the fact she is bundles of talent and is actually a twelve year veteran of the ring. She's had alot of great matches both in NXT and on the main roster with her match against Emma for the NXT women's championship being in my opinion both girls best matches.

7) Emma

Unlike most of the girls on this list Emma is sadly no longer with the company which is a huge shame since she was a great talent in the ring but the last said about that awful Emmalina debut the better and the same goes for the time she was fired because she was caught stealing.

6) Carmella

Who would have thought back in 2013 that Carmella would not only still be around but would also be the first (at least by WWE terms) winner of the women's money in the bank. I admit when she first came onto the scene i didn't think she'd last long but honestly i've become a bit of a fan of hers she an infectious amount of energy and that really does show.

5) Billie Kay

Like Paige she is a ten year vet when it comes to wrestling and she's only 28 years old the only way is up for this young talent that's really all i can say about her right now plus her music is really good and i hope we see more of her in the future.

4) Bayley

I've been a fan of hers since day one and it's great to see her finally on the main roster .........................................for about five minuets then you see how badly she's being booked but she is still a great young talent at least when she's used in the right way.

3) Kairi Sane

Ever since i saw her in the Mae Young Classic i was hooked on her now i havn't seen her matches in NXT but if there anything like the matches she was having in the Mae Young Classic then i have some videos to watch.

2) Charlotte

Success is in this girls DNA and i think it's safe to say she inherited her dads wrestling skills Charlotte can have a good match with anyone if any current female wrestle is bound for the Hall Of Fame she is surely one of them.

1) Asuka

Not only is she smart but she's also extremely dangerous she's able to knock people out with a single kick to the head if she wants to and it will be soon before she's holding the raw women's championship and then the division better watch out.

A Thought I Had While Watching A Silent Voice

You know I was watching A Silent Voice on Blu-Ray today and a thought popped into my head and that thought was "this would make a good live action hollywood movie" but after I had that simple thought I started thinking of the over two Blu-Rays I had lying there and i thought to my self "which one would make the best live action movie" so here I am and I'm going to list reasons why I think each one would make a good live action hollywood movie.

In This Corner Of The World

In all honesty out of all three films this one would be the hardest one to adapt not because it's based on an anime or anything like that but because it's so rooted in Japanese culture whoever was to end up writing and directing the film would have the challenge of having to set the film in the same time period and the same country as the original film but I do believe that with the right team behind it that it can be done but it would absolutely need to handled with care.

This film would most likely not get remade since it's not gotten as much media attention like Your Name did and like I said before it's so rooted in Japanese culture so you can't just change the names to american names and change the setting to insert american city here so I really have no clue how this could be done but if it's done the right way and with the right people then this could be a good film.

A Silent Voice

Out of all three movies this one would actually be the cheapest movie to make you could very easily make this movie for $5 - 10 million and you wouldn't loose a thing because it's all there all ready they story is all ready perfect as are the characters all the director would have to do is point the camera at the actors and yell action. This is also a universal story so it could very easily be adapted for American audiences and you won't even need to simplify things for them either since pretty much any one could understand the story.

Like I said before this one most likely won't even get considered for a live action remake because of the lack of media attention but that doesn't mean it won't one day happen I mean look at Ghost In The Shell when that movie came out it wasn't given a huge amount of media attention and it got a live action movie. The other downside is since there's not alot of action the average movie goer might be get bored and that might force the studio to add in some kind of action scene in a film that really doesn't need any.

Your Name

This one's difficult to write about since it's already getting a live action movie from hollywood but it could be done since the story is a universal story because at it's heart it's about two people falling in love with each other and how that love can literally over come time and space. Just based on what I just said it sounds like it would difficult to adapt and yeah it will be I'm not gonna lie but it's not impossible either and with J.J. Abrams producing it I have a feeling the right people will come on board.

Here tho the downside comes not from the original film but rather from fans of the original film since this film was getting alot of attention and it has a lot fans it means you can't really change much of the story which in turn could stifle creativity so I would have to ask any fans of the film and this includes myself just to roll with whatever stuff comes out about the new movie.
