My SPOILER FILLED First Impressions Of The Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest TV Series

There are alot of very well known anime with alot of them getting sequel series which more often then not came when the series wasn't announced to be finishing up it's run. The same thing however cannot be said for the manga that this show is being based off of as it was announced while the first series was still wrapping up it's storyline and as such it would come as a bit much to try to continue this series when the fans were already excited to see how it all ended but the sequel series has just dropped the first episode of it's anime and well you all just knew that I had to check this episode the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED first impressions of the show that really didn't need to be a thing just yet with the show in question being called simply just "Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is Natsu and his friends embark on there mist dangerous quest yet to finish a quest that no one has been able to finish for over one hundred years. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as it does do a decent job of catching us up with where alot of the characters are now as well as setting up what the main plot of this show new show is going to be and what kind of new threats that these characters are going to be facing the episode is also rather light on plot which does make sense as this is only the first episode but that same time that also give us the audience no real reason to check back in and watch the remaining episodes of this show but I will admit that the plot of this episode was really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Also starring in this episode is Yuichi Nakamura as Gray Fullbuster , Sayaka Ohara as Erza Scarlet , Satomi Sato as Wendy Marvell , Yui Horie as Carla , Mugihito as Elefseria , Yūichirō Umehara as Mercphobia , Yōko Hikasa as Karameel , Sayumi Suzushiro as Touka , Yumi Uchiyama as Kiria , Itaru Yamamoto as Madmole , Kenji Hamada as Skullion Raider , Shinpachi Tsuji as Makarov Dreyar , Hiroki Tōchi as Panther Lily , Wataru Hatano as Gajeel Redfox , Eiji Sekiguchi as Wakaba Mine , Masaki Kawanabe as Macao Conbolt , Mariya Ise as Romeo Conbolt , Ryōko Ono as Mirajane Strauss , Harumi Sakurai as Lisanna Strauss , Mai Nakahara as Juvia Lockser and Mariya Ise as Levy McGarden.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. Which is something that does make alot of sense as alot of this shows this shows actors are reprising their roles from the previous Fairy Tail anime series and would there for no how best to perform there respective character in any given situation and that is something that really does shine through in this episode as the episode give the best performance that they possibly could have done with the franchises newer cast members not really holding there own as alot of them just feel lost like they haven't had the time to fully find there character and while there acting might get better over time it is something that really does bring down the quality of the acting just a little bit with the acting that's in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all the episodes cast have to do is just say the lies as they written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall of the acting that's in this episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the really greats that are currently over at J.C. Staff. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but at the same time the animation in this episode wasn't all that good either as it was was lacking that extra something that made the animation in the other series and movies stand out and really make you notice and while yes the animation in this show is really good it also could have been alot better with alot of the animation just feeling flat and not really all that interesting to look at this is despite the fact that all of the characters have some really nice movements to them there was nothing that really stood out from an animation point of view something which really wasn't an issue with either the previous shows or the previous movies for that matter in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

For some reason this episode chooses not reintroduce Natsu and his friends in away that's exciting and gets you excited to see the rest of the episode. Which is something that could be seen as being a refreshing thing to do as it would have been super easy to create an exciting action scene and have those characters be reintroduced that way and yet having them appear after the episodes opening credits just feels like a let down which does somewhat make sense as the episode does have a whole lot of new characters to introduce but at the same time the people that are watching this show aren't going to be watching this show for the new characters there instead going to be watching for there favorite characters and with that in mind not re-introducing them in an exciting way does feel like a let down as it doesn't really get you excited to see the rest of the episode as all it does is make you wonder why there taking so long to be getting to the main characters and are instead wasting time with characters that we don't know or even care about yet.

One of the things that this show really isn't known for is it's comedy with this episode having a whole lot of funny moments in it. Which is something that really wasn't expected as this is show is a continuation of the main show and as a result of that it would have been foolish to expect episode one of this show to have alot of funny moments in it and yet's that exactly what we get in this episode with there being alot of really funny moments and heck the episode even starts would could be seen as a comedic B plot involving Gajeel deciding to become a detective to spy on a new member of the Fairy Tail guild who he believes is a spy and he recruits Juvia just because of the fact that she and the new member of the guild are kind of rivals but in a more friendly kind of way which does make all of there interactions some of the funniest moments in the episode as both Juvia and the new member Touka just try and out do each other which is pure comedic gold and the whole episode is filled to the brim with moments and scenes that are like that and it's those moments that make the episode alot more entertaing to watch and alot more fun to watch as well.

The new characters in this show so far don't seem to be all that interesting as alot of them don't really get to do that much. Heck even two of them only appear near the episodes end but even so what little we do get to see of the new characters they do seem like that they have the potential to be some really fun and possibly even funny characters and while only time well tell if they live up to the older more established characters what we get t see of these new characters is the fact that could be fun main characters if they were given alot more stuff to do in the episode and yet there not given all that much to do in the episode but it's when they are given alot of stuff to do like kick-starting the B plot or by giving some plot exposition and starting of the main plot that they become interesting and even get a few funny moments and while yes it would be foolish to expect these characters to be that good from the get go it's not so much to ask that they at east get the chance to hint at what there personalities are like and while this is only the first episode you always want to lead with your best foot forward ad that does include giving the new characters a chance to show us what there personalities are like as that would give us the audience a reason to care about these new characters as well.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grad total running time of exactly twenty three minuets and fifty seconds. Which is a solid running time as the episode really does have the right amount of running time to really cover that amount of running time but at the same time tho if this episode was longer it would allow more of the side characters to show of what there personalities are like and it would give us a chance to see some of the more episode really fun interactions as well as those characters really are a highlight of the episode and yet at the same time tho if this episode was even just ten minuets longer whilst it would give us somethings that would fix several issues with the episode it would also create another one as the plot of the episode would be drawn even thinner then what it already is as the episode doesn't have alot of plot to begin with and while yes giving the side characters more of a chance to show of what there personalities are like and while it would give the chance to see the older characters have some more exciting scenes those scenes would also add nothing to the plot of the episode and would come across as being filler and really nothing all the more then that but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho. 

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us n this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As we do only get the one one action scene that happens near the end of the episode but taking into account that one of the things that this franchise is known for in a more positive sense is it's action having one action scene that could at best be described as OK at best really doesn't work in the episodes favor as it doesn't give us the audience a chance to see what alot of the characters can do in a fight and while yes granted we have hundreds of other episodes and movies for that for the start of a new show that's also something that you want to be reminded as well and while the episodes actins scene is a serviceable action scene it's also one that really could have been alot better then what it already was as it really was just a nothing type of action scene that was just there just to have an action scene and not because of the fact it was something that important to the episode itself with the episodes action being something that could have been done alot more better then what it actually was in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is a show that really didn't need to exist just yet as the original series itself only ended a few years ago and no one was really calling for a new series and while there is potential in this episode for this show to be a really good show only time will tell if this show will live up to that potential in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. ow then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this post and since this is only my first impressions I won't be giving this show a rating however if this post does decently well and if you guys want me to check out another episode then I will do it and that post would then be a review of that episode and that episode only and not a review of the show as a whole.

Back To The Future: The Animated Series TV Series "A Family Vacation" Review

It's been quite a while since I last talked about anything to do with Back To The Future be it from the movies or in this case the TV series. Well as you can all see that dry spell is ending right now as while it was popular for a successful movie to get turn into an animated series it was also popular for said series to get cancelled not long after with this show being no exception and so then join me as I review the episode that introduces both Clara and Jennifer into the show with the episode in question being called simply just "A Family Vacation" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is believing that his family have become to used to technology Doc Brown forces them all to go on a trip in thirteenth century England where Clara has to rescue both him and her boys from the evil Lord Biffingham before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured // presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that he actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as the plot of this episode was a really well done plot that made great use of the time travel aspect of the show but at the same time and while yes the plot of this episode could have been a little bit better given that this is based off of a movie and cartoon shows that are based off of movies don't usually have good plots to them it's a wonder that the plot of this was as good as it was with the plot of this episode being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Also starring in this episode is Danny Mann as Einstein , Mary Steenburgen as Clara Clayton Brown , Josh Keaton as Jules Brown , Troy Davidson as Verne Brown , David Kaufman as Marty McFly and Harold McFly , Thomas F. Wilson as Biff Tannen and Lord Biffingham , Bill Nye as The Science Guy , voice acting legend Joe Alaskey as The Sheriff and Cathy Cavadini as Jennifer Parker and Jennivere.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With all of this episodes actors turning in some really good performances which really does make sense as lot of this episode voice cast are a bunch of really good voice actors who really can act and two some of the episodes cast are reprising there roles from the films and would there for no what kind of performance really would best suit there character in any given situation and in the case of this episode both David Kaufman , Cathy Cavadini and Thomas F. Wilson also really do some shockingly good English accents as well with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does effect the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the really greats that are currently over at BIG Pictures. Now ten interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought  felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us  in this very episode was in all honesty alot better then what it really had any right to be as there were alot of really impressive scenes in this episode that showed of just how good the animation in this episode really was like for example the opening of the episode is this one long shot taken from the POV of Einstein and it's a shot that just looked so good as it's something that really does hold up really well all of these years later and while yes the animation in this episode does really seem a little bit dated and doesn't really hold up well of these years later those are very few and far between as the film really does have more impressive animation and some really nice backgrounds in it then it does have some really bad looking animation and backgrounds in it as well.

Lord Biffingham is actually the only villain to come really close to actually killing someone as while Buford did indeed hang Mary in Back To The Future Part 3 it was pretty clear that he was going to make it out alive. However in this case that wasn't always the case as the Clara wouldn't have been able to do something and the boys were no where able to do something either and as a result of that is the fact that Doc really could have died in this episode and that is something that does make Lord Biffingham more of a threat as he more then lives up to his word and is more then able to do all of the things that he sets out to do and while the villain himself could have been handled alot more better then what he was in the final cut o0f the episode given that his future ancestor is Biff this character doesn't need to be that developed all that well due to the fact that we the audience already know everything that we're going to need to know due to the fact that he's related to Biff and while yes it would have been nice to see what it is that separates him from Biff it's not really something that's needed as it would take away from how fun the characters is.

Doc in  this episode wasn't all that well written as it makes no sense for him to get upset at his family for what he thinks is them using technology all that much. As every single that he's invented not only in the shows first episode but also in the other three films require technology and electricity and there for as a character Doc wouldn't get upset at them for doing at and heck for both Jules and Verne that's all they've known so for them using technology would have been apart of there every days lives and while yes it could argues that Clara was using technology to much as we see her doing things that really could have been done by hand and she's not been around electricity all that much both Doc and the boys have which means that he got mad at the whole family for something that they would have done anyway something which is called out in the episode at and Doc just straight up ignores it which does form apart f his character arc for the episode it's also something that really didn't need to be an arc and would have made more sense if it was Clara who forced the family to go on vacation to get away from technology. 

We do get to see the earliest Mcfly ancestors in this episode with Howard and Jennivere with Jennivere possibly serving as an ancestor for Jennifer as well. With both of these characters not really being developed all that well which they really should have done as while Lord Biffingham didn't need to be that developed as he's basically just Biff but in England both Howard and Jennivere are nothing like there future relatives with the only thing that Howard has in common is the fact that both he and Marty like music and that's really it and that's not enough to make him interesting character and heck Jennivere and Jennifer have nothing in common with each other outside of the fact that they both love members of the Mcfly family and that's really it and because of that fact is the fact that both characters feel alot like side characters when in actuality there the episodes main characters and yet there not given alot of focus at all which just makes them rather dull and boring characters that really didn't need to be in this episode at all with the only reason for them being in this episode is the fact that they pretty much have to gave a member of the Mcfly family in every single time period that they visit in this show.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty one minuets and nineteen seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running time for this show altho this episode is missing the opening live action segment which does make it a full minuet shorter then alot of the other episodes in this show and to this episodes credit it really does have more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that amount of running time and while it does make the most of that screen time that it really could have done this episode really would have been helped if it's animated portion was longer as then it could have had scenes that developed it's guest characters instead of just leaving them as very one dimensional characters but at the same time tho that is something that is something really would have bogged this episode down as those scenes would have most likely have not been relevant to the plot of the episode and would have been filler scenes and really nothing more then that but this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I gave to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought n/ felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With alot of if not all of this episode jokes landing and while yes not all of this episodes jokes will make people laugh out loud alot of them will manage to get a smile on peoples faces and for a Saturday morning cartoon that was based off of a movie that's as good as it's going to get as those types of shows aren't usually that funny but because of the fact that this show had the creative input of the franchise creators Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale this show and this episode especially can now have jokes that do feel more in line with the types of jokes that would be seen in the movie and because of the fact that the jokes in this episode do come across as being alot better then what they really should have been which does make this episodes jokes really fun and funny to watch and to listen to as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while the first episode of this show was the stronger episode this wasn't a bad follow up episode and it does go to show at this franchise really does have a life outside of the movies and really could have carried the franchise on if it lasted longer then two seasons with this episode being a really fun filled episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Ariel TV Series SPOILER FILLED Review

For some strange reason whenever The Little Mermaid releases a new film into theaters it's very quickly followed up with an animated prequel TV series. With the recent remake not really being exception to this as both Disney have really just dropped the first eight episodes of this prequel animated show on both DisneyJR and Disney + and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the show that no one was asking for with the show in question being called simply just "Ariel" enjoy.

The plot of this show is Ariel and her friends go about there day to day lives in Atlantica and learn what means to not only be good friends but also be good people as well. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the same problem as the plot of this show wasn't all that good either as all it was was the typical kids animated show plot only with The Little Mermaid characters and nothing really new added to the plot to make it feel unique and different from all of the other kids animated that are out there and the show does suffer because of how predictable not only the shows plot is but also how predictable the plots of each of the episodes really are as well and while as a plot this show does work for it's target audience due to the characters that are being featured in this show it was also always going to get some adults watching the show as well and there's really nothing there plot wise to make them want to keep on watching the show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Also starring in this show is Elizabeth Phoenix Caro as Lucia , Cruz Flateau as Fernie , Gracen Newton as Flounder , Kevin Michael Richardson as Sebastian , Parvesh Cheena as Ravi and Squid , Dana Heath as Ayanna , Jessica Mikayla as Alanna , Alanna Ubach as Cristina Cuttles , Yvette Nicole Brown as Aquatica , Melissa Villaseñor as Navi , Ron Funches as Delfino , Jeff Bennett as The Duke Of Clownfish , Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows star Gary Anthony Williams as Hermès and Amari McCoy as Jewels.

Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. As it's quite clear that all of this shows cast members especially the young cast members are indeed trying to turn in a hood performance with the shows adult cast members mostly just phoning in there performances and while the child performers are indeed decent in this show they also have plenty of room to go as alot of the time they do turn so fairly average performances which is excusable as they are only kids after all the same thing really isn't excusable for the adult actors who really should know how to act by now and yet alot of the time it just comes across as them phoning in there performances with the same thing also being true for Kevin Michael Richardson who despite having played Sebastian in the Kingdom Hearts games here just sounds to old to be playing the character with the acting in this show not really being helped by the fact that the script for this show is just so bad as it gives none of the shows actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does effect the overall quality of the acting that's in this show.

Now then  interms of what I personally thought /felt about thew actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this show was in all honesty alot better then what it really had right to be as by all rights the animation in this show should have been really bad and yet what we get instead is a show that actually has some really good animation that does on times border on being feature film quality but the character designs in this show just don't look that good as Ursula just looks really laughably bad with her now having a weird looking hairstyle and being transformed from someone who could have a beauty when she was younger to instead looking like someone wouldn't be a beauty which does against the whole point of the character but the characters do have some really nice fluid animation to them tho and the whole ocean does look good in this show.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

As you can no doubt work out by now this show does take some inspiration from the live action remake of The Little Mermaid. However it also takes inspiration from the 1989 original film as well which does leave you with this odd mish mash of ideas as you''ll get Ariel who blatantly looks like Halle Bailey and yet she's talking with sat Sabastian who looks like how did in the original film and then you have both King Triton and Ursula looking like new versions of the characters all of which just really doesn't work and it makes you wonder why the makers of this show chose to take inspiration from the 2023 The Little Mermaid movie as to a more main stream audience those takes on the characters really aren't going to be that well known instead it's the designs of the original films that really are more well known and as a result of that is the fact that it would have made alot more sense from a marketing perspective to have the characters look like how they did in the original film and make this show a prequel to both the original film and it's spin-off series as well.

The characters that they do create for this show that mainly being Ariel's friends Lucia and Fernie do seem like good characters. With Lucia having some magical powers to her which is a good idea as is the fact that shew looks up to Ursula but Fernie on the other hand despite him having alot of knowledge about fish which is a good way to get that knowledge across to the shows young kid audience that doesn't work is the fact that the character wants to a marine biologist a job which would require him to mostly be on land and would require him to capture things from the ocean to look at them an examine them so surely as someone who lives in the ocean he should want to do something that wouldn't effect ocean life instead of choosing something that would put ocean life and the life of the animals in danger let alone put his own life in danger and just straight up doesn't make sense as he lives underwater anyway and so he would have no where to store the fish that he did want to examine in the first place where Lucia's goal of wanting to be as good of a sea witch as Ursula does make sense for that world and it is something that could actually foreseeably happen at some point in the future where as Fernie's goal couldn't happen in the future.

Speaking of Ursula this show did her dirty as in both the original film , the 2023 remake and in The Little Mermaid: The Animated Series she was a villain. Yet for some strange reason in this show she's Ariel's fun aunt who is anything but a villain which is something that just doesn't work at all and it shows that the makers of this show just don't understand the character as this is a character who was evil because of the fact that her brother King Triton was named heir to the throne and that basically drove her mad and because of that she spent years trying to find ways to get revenge on Triton fort what she perceived as a crime against her and so when Ariel comes to her for help in the remake she sees that as her way of getting her revenge with her basically being a person who might have started out as a good person but became more evil and more twisted over the years and yet this is something that isn't present in this show and while the show does try to give her some personality by making the owner of a magic camp where she teaches students how to do magic it's still not enough to replace what was taken from an interesting character.

Now then each episode of this show has / had an exact grand total running time of no longer then twenty three minuets. With each episode being split up into eleven minuet episodes is something that in this case does work to the shows advantage as each of the individual plots for the episodes aren't strong enough to support an entire twenty two minuet episode but it is strong enough to support an eleven minuet segment of an episode tho and yet while all eight of this shows first batch of episodes do have some good running times to them at the same time tho none of the episodes that have been released thus far take the time that they really should have done to develop the shows characters and while the show can get away with not giving the legacy characters that much development as they do appear in the 2023 movie so they can kind of get away with it the show also doesn't take the time fully develop it's new characters and as a result of that is the fact that each episode does feel like that it's repat as nothing changes about the show and none of the characters grow and learn from there experiences either but I will admit that this show does have some really good pacing to it tho.

As Flounder despite being the groups "fat one" and at times "dumb one" as well who is just obsessed with food and nothing more then that does get the odd good joke in this show with the same thing also being for Ursula as well but alot of this shows jokes just aren't that funny with the show at times coming across more as a drama then it is a comedy when everything about the show is designed to be a comedy and yet the makers of this show just don't give alot of the characters that many good jokes and while the shows target audience will find this show to be funny people who grew up with the original film or even with the 2023 live action remake won't find this show to be all that funny as the jokes that are in this show just aren't that good for the most part with alot of the shows jokes just falling flat in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this show might get better once more episodes are released these first eight episodes while there are a few good episodes in them aren't the best episodes to start this show off on as the show does very quickly fall into a formular where a character does whatever they want then ignores there friends and then when things backfire learns some sort of forced lesson that the audience has worked out near the start of the episode and that is something that really does bog the show down quite alot in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this very review and as such that really does mean that this show really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 "Beyond Atlantis" Review

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is a show that shocking not alot of people know about this is despite the fact that alot of internet movies reviewers were inspired bu the show. Yet even tho the show had been on the air since the eighties it really never introduced a female host that was until season 13 of the show which gave us an actually really funny female host and so then join me as I review the episode that introduced us to a new host with the episode in question being called simply just "Beyond Atlantis" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is with the Simulator Of Love now complete new host Emily Connor is trapped inside and is forced to watch Beyond Atlantis. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented t us un this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with the plot of this episode being really light on actual plot as we don't get to see Emily try to adjust to life on the Simulator Of Love outside of the opening scene but that's kind of par the course for this show as apart from really important episodes the episodes in this show never really focus all that much on actual plot development which is the same thing with this episode as well and its something that really does work well enough in this episodes favour as well with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is this episodes co-writer Emily Marsh as Emily Connor and Kelsey Ann Brady as The Voice Of Crow T. Robot. Also starring in this episode is Conor McGiffin as The Voice Of Tom Servo ,  this episodes co-writer Yvonne Freese as The Voice Of GPC , Felicia Day as Kinga Forrester , Patton Oswalt as Max , Rebecca Hanson as Synthia , this episodes director Jonah Ray as Jonah Heston , this shows creator Joel Hodgson as Ardy and Ivan Askwith as Bonesy.

Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With all of the episodes actors turning in some really good performances which is really something that's not all that new as this show has always had some really good acting in it which is always surprising as all of the shows actors barring both Felicia Day and Patton Oswalt have never been professional actors and yet they manage to turn in some really good performances in all of the episodes that are in with the same thing also being true for the cast of this episode as well as they all manages to turn some really good performances as well with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

As was stated at the start of this review this is episode that saw the debut of Emily Connor as the seasons second of three hosts. With Emily being a really funny host as she's kind of naive in the way that the experiments work even not knowing that she's been roped in to be the new host this is despite the fact that she helped build the Simulator Of Love but at the same time she is also pretty smart as for her first invention she builds a giant pain of mech hands all by herself which does make her alot smarter then what she appears to be and it's fun seeing her interactions with her Crow and her Tom as all three are essentially the new kids on the block and as a result of that is the fact that all three of them do kind of form this family as there all trying to work all of these things out together this is despite the fact that Crow and Tom have the memories and personalities of Jonah's Crow and Tom but what let's the Emily character down is the fact that she doesn't show signs of character development she's not written as a perfect character by any stretch of the imagination but there's not alot of care and attention given to her to give her any kind of character development whatsoever. 

The film that's being featured in this episode of the show is the 1973 film Beyond Atlantis with this episode rather rightfully calling the out on how bad it is. As this is a film that does look really bad and that is something that should get called out and on top of that this is just straight up weird as it gives people really large fish eyes which is just off putting and more scary then alot of stuff scene in modern day horror films which wouldn't be a bad thing if Beyond Atlantis was aimed at a more mature audience and was a horror film but it's not it's aimed more at family's and is a family friendly horror film and yet it had this really creepy imagery in it and as a result of that is the fact that this episode gets a lot to work with just from the opening few minuets of the film itself and heck one of the recurring jokes in this episode is all about the cast of this episode trying and failing to remember which character is who because of the fact that there all so forgettable and the fact that the most memorable character in the film just so happens to really be a fairly bad person.

What was unexpected is the fact that the episode does set up something that pays off at the end of this season. With Emily giving Jonah the idea to work together to escape from the dark side of the moon and while this idea would evolve to include the third host it is something that was shocking to see set up this early on in the season and it was also shocking to se them do a call back by speaking in rhyme as the villains in this really show can't understand our hosts when they do exactly that which is something that again comes back at the end of the season of when the hosts put there plan into motion all because really of the fact that it was set up and all said in rhyme and that was a something that was shocking to see set up this early on in the season as something like that wouldn't really be set up until the episode where it happens in previous seasons and yet in alot of the Jonah seasons they would normally set things up either around the end of the season or the midway point of the season and yet here there doing it in the third episode of the season. 

What would have helped this episode was if we got to see Emily and her bots get to know each other over the course of the episode. As that is something that hadn't been seen since Mike's first episode and is something that really does work and it's something that could worked in this episode given the unique reason that they host was chosen and the fact that these bots are essentially new bots and yet when they first see each other they get along like they've met each other already and had been friends for quite a while which could have happend as Emily was a part of the team that was making the Simulator Of Love and as a result of that is the fact that it is possible that her bots could have been on board already and she could have gotten to know them then but at the same time that is something that would have made the episode alot more fun to watch and it's something that would have made this episode standout from all of the others as instead of having the bots and host get along right away we'd be seeing that friendship evolve over the course the episodes host segments and you could then end the episode with all getting along as friends.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty six minuets and twenty one seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for this show as the show has to fit in it's own plot line and an entire feature length film which is something that this episode does well as it makes very little cuts to the movie essentially showing us the movie as it was originally seen all the while still giving us a fairly entertaining plot in it's own right and while the episode would have been better if it took the tome to develop Emily or even her own version of the bots alot more then what they already do at the same time tho that would mean taking away some of the jokes in the episode and forcing in development when it's not really needed which would make all of that character development feel forced and would really drag the episode down quite alot and would ultimately make the episode very dull and boring to watch but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With there being alot of painfully jokes made about the movie but there also being some really funny host segments as well and this is where Emily Marsh really does shine as she is a really funny person and while her jokes about Beyond Atlantis are very hit and miss that's more due to the fact that she's still getting used to making fun of a movie but when she does make a good joke it is something that does standout and is something that is really funny with her Crow and Tom also having some really funny jokes as well with there being a really funny rap about the movie at the end of episode all done because of the fact that the movie had pretty much every style of music in it except from rap which is a funny little thing to pick up on and it leads to a really funny rap song as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a really painfully funny episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 as well with it also being a really funny introductory episode for host Emily Connor as well but really at the same time as well this is an episode that really could have been alot better then really what it actually was in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Fireman Sam "The Kite" Review

When it comes to UK kids animated TV shows there seemed to a rather odd fascination of basing the show around someones job. With Postmen , people who work of the railways and builders really all getting animated series that had the main character really doing there jobs with the show that i'm going to be talking about today being another example of this and so then join me as I review the episode that tried to make being fireman look cool with the episode in question being called simply just "The Kite" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when a gust of wind knocks down a telephone wire it's up to Fireman Sam to remove the wire before it causes some serious harm. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as it was a simple plot that was quick and very easy to follow along with both of which are things that are important for a kids show as little kids won't want deep , dark and complicated plots as all they'll want are plots that are simple and easy to follow along with and that is something that alot of good kids TV shows do have with the plot of this episode being a primes of example of that and it's something that really does work well enough to this episodes advantage as well with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. 

As with alot of kids TV shows at the time all of the voices for this episode were done by one person in that case we have John Alderton doing all of the voices for all of characters. With him giving all of the characters some rather unique sounding voices which while it does play up there stereotype in some cases in other cases it also plays up to there name a little bit as well like with the Elvis character having more of a rock and roll sounding voice much like Elvis himself and the stationmaster having more of a 1940's era type of voice something which does play up to the fact that out of all three of them he is the most experienced of the bunch with Sam himself just having a regular Welsh sounding voice thus playing up the fact that he's just regular persona and it's like that with all of the episodes characters with them all having voices that match there characters in someway shape or form all except the bus driver who is described as being debonair and yet has a voice that doesn't make sound that way in the slightest way possible.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With the episodes only voice actor John Alderton turning in a really good performance for all the episodes main cast of characters which is something that really couldn't have been easy as he wouldn't have had any room to slip up on a performance something which would have been the case if the episode had more voice actors in it and yet because it was just him for these early episodes he has to carry the entire the show on his back and he did just that by giving us a bunch of truly wonderful performances with the acting in  this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes actors have to do is just say the lines ad they are written and a good performance will come out naturally which is something that really does help tom raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the really greats that are currently over Bumper Films. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with the episode really making good use of the fact that it's being made with stop motion animation which adds a certain charm to the episode and it's something that wasn't replicated when the show did transition over to using 3D CGI animation with the animation in this episode you can see all of the care and attention that the team put into making the episode be it from the fact that you can see things blowing in the wind or the fact that you can were the road needs fixing and isn't as good as it used to be and while yes the animation in this episode might seem dated as the characters mouths don't move that is something that really only does add to the overall charm of both the series and the episode as a whole.

For some reason even tho the UK had shows that were based around people's job's they all had some really good theme songs to them. With this one being no exception as the theme song to this show was alot better then what it really had any right to be as a song that will get stuck in your head for quite awhile as even it's only it short song it's still a song that manages to get across the entire plot of the show and still set up Sam as a character and while the show would have been helped if the song was a tad bit shorter as that would then allow for longer episodes there's no way that you could have cut down the song without it sounding weird or off putting for that matter unlike for example the Postman Pat theme song where you could have cut that down quite a bit and still have the song sound as good as it was here if you did cut down this song even by a few seconds it wouldn't sound and would come across as being rushed when that's not the point of an intro song as the whole point of an intro song is to get you e4xcited for whatever it is that your about to watch.

As the first episode in the show the episode doesn't really get across what the personalities or like for the other characters. As alot of them even tho they do go on to become main characters in the show despite them being very minor characters in the episode aren't given alot of time to shine which is something that does make sense given the episodes very small running time but at the same time tho it would have helped the show out in the long run if all of it's characters got that chance to showcase what it is that there personaliti4res are even meant to be in the first place as that would then make us the audience want to see more of them in future episodes instead of them being added into the episodes just because of the fact there apart of the series cast of characters and while it does makes sense for them not to have alot of focus in this episode as this is only the first episode and as such the episode should spend it's time showing us what Sam's personality is like it oddly makes the shows setting feel alot more smaller then what it actually is.

With the worst case of the side characters not having more in the way of personality in this episode being Sam's niece and nephew Sarah and James. Who despite being major characters in the second half of the episode just come across as being bland characters who are only there for the shows young kid audience to imagine themselves in either of those two roles which does make them come across as characters that have had very little to no effort put into fully developing there characters which is something that is most likely not the case but to give the episode some credit it really doesn't focus to much on those two characters as they only appear as and when the episode fairly thinly drawn out plot needs them to appear and not because of the fact the makers of the show want to remind you of these two characters which does make there inclusion in the episode feel alot more organic and heck they even have an entire subplot in this episode which is something that does tie into the main plot of the episode near the episodes conclusion.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly nine minuets and fifty one seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running time for a show like this one to have and while the episode doesn't really have lot there interms of plot tor really cover that amount of running time it also really doesn't have much in the way of filler either and as a result of that is the fact that episode really does make the best use of it's plot line that it quite possibly could have done given it's small running time and while it would have been nice if the episode really was a little bit longer like by maybe five extra minuets r something like that that would also have the add on effect of making this episodes already very thinly drawn out plot line even thinner then what it already is as this episode really doesn't to be that long in order to tell it's simple story it really just needs enough running time in order to it's plot justice but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With the comedy that's to be found in this very episode being very passable at best which is something that really does work for a kids TV show as while adults won't find alot of the jokes in this episode to be all that funny that's OK as it's target audience little kids will find alot of this jokes to be funny even if they are some what dated and while yes it would have been nice if this episode did have some timeless jokes in them that both kids and adults could find funny that is also something that would take alot of the episodes running time and while yes this episode does have some good jokes in them they are very few and far between in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this is a decent show and this was a decent start to the show itself it's also an episode that does seem really dated now by today's standards but even taking that out of the occasion the episode is still a really fun filled episode that little kids can still sit down and enjoy all the same in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.
