My SPOILER FREE First Impressions of The Suicide Squad Isekai TV Series

With the DCU about to start up in 2025 next year is going to be a big year for DC Comics however that doesn't mean that there still aren't some good stuff coming out this year. Take for example the very show that i;m about to talk about today as this is a show is going to fly under the radar for quite alot of people due to the fact that it's an anime but it's also a show that's really so strange and so out there that you really do have to do see in order to really believe that it's actually a thing and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FREE first impressions of the show that sees a group villains magically transported to another world with the show in question being called simply just "Suicide Squad Isekai" enjoy.

The plot of this show is Task Force X are magically transported to another world where they are then taker prisoner only they have 72 hours to get back to there helicopter before the bombs in there necks exploaded. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty just as bonkers and just as insane as you'd expect from something that's involving Task Force X and yet at the exact same time the plot of this show really isn't strong enough to carry an entire ten episode series of a TV show as it's something that could have been covered in the shows first two episodes with the bigger plot being something more dangerous and something that only Task Force X can help with and yet be giving them a weak plot fort these first three episodes it doesn't start the best show of with it's best foot forward with the plot of this show show being really entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

This post is being based off of the dubbed version of the show which does have a draw back in the fact that there's no cast list for the dubbed cast anywhere online. With the only cast available being that for the Japanese cast of the show which is odd as this is show is being released with both the subbed and dubbed versions of the show being released and yet there's only one cast list available for the show with not even the shows own end credits saying who is playing who in the dubbed version but one thing is for sure we don't have either Tara Strong or Hynden Walch as Dr. Harleen Quinzel / Harley Quinn as the person that they did get to play her doesn't sound anything like either of them which does make sense but at the same time when there her two most recognisable voices in terms of modern day Harley Quinn then it would have made sense for the makers of this dub to at least reach out and see if they were interested in playing her in this show as all that's going to happen is that this new voice actress is going to compared to those two.

Now then interms of what I personally thought  felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in ll honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty really good with all of the shows cast members turning some really good performances. With all of the characters sounding good and having some really good sounding voices however with that being said there is one character that has a terrible sounding voice and that's The Joker who instead of sounding like a menacing villain who could be a legit scary scary now just sounds weird and off putting and not in the way that makes him scary rather it's in the way that makes him laughable and someone that you want to laugh at instead of someone that you want to run away from while the actor playing him turns in a decent performance there's no getting past the fact that the voice for the character is all kinds of wrong with the script for these episodes not really helping the cast for these episodes as the script for all of these episode is just so bad as it gives none of the cast members of these episodes absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which so something that really doesn't help with the overall quality of the acting that's in these very episodes.

Doing the animation for these episodes is of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at Wit Studio. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty really good and was alot better then what it really had any right to be as when you think of an anime featuring the Suicide Squad you don't typically think of good looking animation and yet that's exactly what we got in all three of these episodes as the animation in all three of these episodes really a visual treat for the eyes to see as not only did all of the characters have alot of really nice looking fluid movements to them but all of the backgrounds for all three episodes looked really good as well with the animation also managing to make each of the episodes backgrounds feel unique and different and making each one of them standout from each other with the animation in all three episodes also being helped by the shows rather unique looking art style which looked fresh and different and not something that you'd expect to see in an anime at all.

As was to be expected they do introduce some new characters in these first three episodes with perhaps the best one being Fione. With the character being pretty much the princess of this new world that Task Force X fund themselves on and while the character doesn't really have that big of a role in these first three episodes it is quite clear that she will go onto have a least a small recurring role in the show with her acting as kind of like an ally to Task Force X with her willing to give them a chance to do whatever it is that they've got to do but at the same time tho just based off of these first three episodes there's not really alot to this character outside of the fact that she's princess type of character and that's really it and that's not enough to make her an interesting character but on the flip side of that is the fact that if she is a recurring character and not a major character then you don't really want her to be all that interesting of a character ahs she does have the potential to be all the more interesting then the shows main characters as even the shows main characters aren't that interesting either but that does kind of make of sense as there are seven other episodes to make these characters all the more interesting then what there make out to be in these first three episodes.

In what is a rather strange move is the fact that this show technically premiered in America before Japan. As the first three episodes of the show premiered on Max and Hulu both dubbed and subbed a week before episode one of the show is due to premier in Japan where the first three episodes will be releasing weekly this is something that really hasn't been done before now as usually when a new anime debuts it debuts in Japan first before heading over to America and yet while it does make sense for this show to premier in America first as these are after all American characters it still feels odd getting a brand new anime a week before the Japanese get it as they could have released the show at the exact same time so that no one can be spoiled and yet by releasing the show in American a whole week before the Japanese get it it means that the Japanese now have to avoid spoilers for three weeks before then having to avoid spoilers on a week to week basis as the Americans are getting each new episode a week before the Japanese will be getting it and while these are American characters and as a result the Americans should get the top priority as they are the franchise holders for these characters but there has to be a fairer way to do a release like this without making sure that spoilers get dropped online via something like X for example.

Without giving away what the alot of the jokes are in these first three episodes but it's safe to say that alot of the jokes in this show based off of these first three episodes aren't going to be that good. As alot of them just boil down to making references to other American products which is funny the first time that they do it as it's apart of this characters character to make a joke like that but when it's all of the jokes that are in these first three episodes then you really do have a problem as it makes all of these jokes feel repetitive and they get less and less funny the more chance that they do them and while the Suicide Squad characters have never really had that many funny jokes the one character that has always have some really funny jokes was the only character to get a laugh in these first three episodes and that was Harley Quinn and even then it's due to the fact that the writers of these first three episodes got alot of the characters down perfectly from a writing point of view and as a result of that is the fact that the characters that were funny back in the comics do also come across as being funny in these first three episodes as well.

Now then all three of these episodes has / had an exact grand total running time of no longer then twenty five minuets with all three episodes also having an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty four minuets and four seconds. Which is a solid running time for episodes two and three to have but episode one really did need to be longer as it had so much to set up both from a storyline perspective and from a world point of view as well and still tell a somewhat good story and that's not something that it can do with that running time and as a result of that is the fact that key things that should have been set up and should have been explained either aren't explained at all or if they are explained then it's not very well done as the episode just brushes over it instead of really giving the time and focus that it really needs and really does deserve this is isn't really an issue with the other two episodes as something does happen in either episode two or three which they don't explain but it's something that's important to the overall plot of the show and in that regard it makes sense not to explain that thing away but I will admit that all three of these episodes really do have some really good pacing to all of them tho. 

So now then as this an action show that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty really good. With all of this shows action scenes looking really good and all of this shows main characters getting the chance to do alot of really cool looking things in all of the action scenes that are all of these three action with the action in these first three episodes also giving us the audience a chance to see what each of member of the team bring to the team which also makes the alot of the action scenes in all three episodes all the more exciting and this is helped by the fact that something happens to the team that makes the action feel different from something that you'd see in say one of the live action Suicide Squad movies for example as due to the fact that this is animation the action in all three of these episode being fun crazy and over the top and that is something makes the action in all of three of these episodes really fun to watch as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this show isn't as good as Batman Ninja was so far this show is of to a good start and it does have plenty of potential to be a really fun anime that people who love anime and comics can come together and watch and hopefully they'll both be able to enjoy this show as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in these episodes in this very post and since this is only my first impressions I won't be giving this show a rating however if this post does decently well and if you guys want me to check out another episode then I will do it and that post would then be a review of that episode and that episode only and not a review of the show as a whole.

Who Killed WCW? SPOILER FREE Review

Even tho wrestling is just as popular today as it's ever been there's no doubt that it was at it's height in popularity in the nineties. With the WWE then the WWF not really doing all that well as they were still stuck in the eighties and sticking with what worked however there was one company that did dare to try and do something different and even tho they never ended beating the WWF on a fully time basis they did beat them two almost two years straight but really all good things must come to an end with the company in question really going downhill interms really quickly and outright going out on business by 2001 and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FREE of the show that dares to answer the question of who killed wcw with the show in question being called simply just "Who Killed WCW?" enjoy.

The plot of show is over twenty years after it;s closed it;s doors for good there is one question that many people want answered and that question is who killed wcw?. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually feature / resented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I im all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad as it is something that alot of people who like professional wrestling have not only asked for decades at this point but also want to know the answer to as there are so many people that could be blamed for it going out of business but at the very least only one person who could possibly be blamed for outright killing the company as a whole and that is something that is going to get alot of attention from the wrestling world and from those that really do love professional wrestling as a whole with the plot of this show also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this show is Guy Evans , Eric Bischoff , Brad Siegel , Kevin Nash , Kevin Sullivan and Dallas Page. Also starring in this show is Bret Hart , Dick Cheatham , Booker Huffman / Booker T , Janie Engle , Charles Ashenoff / Konnan ,  Neal Pruitt , Debra Ann Miceli / Medusa , Loree Bischoff , Bill Goldberg , Vince Russo , Sharmell Sullivan-Huffman , Stuart Snyder , Scream star David Arquette and one of this shows executive producers Black Adam and Fast And Furious star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual interviews that are actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I im all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual interviews that are actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. As alot of the people that are being interviewed were not only involved with WCW in someway shape r form but also don't repeat themselves alot of the time and while yes we do get some people repeating answers from other people those are very few and far between and while the show does have a great verity of interviewees it's clear that they couldn't get alot of other people who were involved with WCW which makes you wonder why they didn't get people like Paul Weight or Perry Saturn or Dean Malenko all of whom spent alot of time in WCW and all of whom would have added something to the show but instead what we got was a relatively small amount of cast that actually had a hand in WCW.

For some strange reason this show features alot of interviews with one of this shows executive producers Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. As it's something that really doesn't make sense for him to be in this show as he never wrestled nor did he ever work for WCW while it does make sense for him to be in this show from marketing aspect as he is the biggest name in the cast but from any other point of view it doesn't really make sense heck in would make more sense for somebody like Aj Styles to be involved with this show as he did wrestle for WCW and yet by bringing in Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson it takes away a spot from somebody who would have known what was going on at the company at that point in time and not have someone who never had anything to do with the company while it would have been just fine for him to remain as an executive producer as it's his production company making the show having him be in the actual show itself just came across as being really weird. 

As is to be expected from a documentary like this one the show does give us alot of people who might be responsible for killing of WCW. With them ranging from the obvious like Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo to the less obvious like Kevin Nash as he did temporally take over as head booker for WCW when Eric wasn't feeling to good to even alot of the people that worked at Turner Broadcasting getting alot of the blame as well and while the show does indeed give us alot of reasons to blame every one of the people listed as they all at some point did pay a part in the downfall of WCW to say that it's any one of them is just looking at this at a base level and not really digging deeper and while alot of these people indeed deserve some f the blame of killing of WCW alot more of the blame has to go to the company as a whole and how badly it was run and managed by not only the producers who there on day to day basis but also those at Turner Broadcasting who openly admitted to not even getting why the company was liked in the first place.

The show does spend the first three episodes of giving us a new person to blame in each episode with Eric being blamed in episode 1 of the show Kevin Nash and the wrestlers get the blame in episode and Vince Russo gets the blame in episode 3 and those at Turner Broadcasting get the blame in episode 4. While it does make sense for each of them to get the blame as Vince was the head writer for WCW during it's final and dreadful years and Eric did run out of ideas quickly with him often reverting back to what worked instead of trying something and different which wasn't helped with the legends big ego's with them often changing things to fit what a certain wrestler wants to do and not do something that's best for the companies and Turner Broadcasting was frequently doing whatever they could do to get rid of WCW because those in charge don't like wrestling and didn't want a wrestling company airing on there network and on there company books and so they would often give over things like CNN for example a better budget this is despite the fact that CNN wasn't making them money where as WCW was making them money and while WCW for it's first few years didn't make them money when it was a hit with Monday Nitro it was making them loads of money and yet they were still treated horribly by Turner Broadcasting.

For some reason this show is missing alot of contributions from a lot of key people that were involved with WCW. As there are no interviews with Sting , Jeff Jarret , Scott Steiner or even Ric Flair all of whom helped to make the company as good as it was and heck there's not even an appearance from Hulk Hogan who helped to make the company as big as it was as well and while yes the wrestlers chosen are also important to the legacy of WCW when you think of this company and you see a company abut this company you want to see interviews from people who worked for them at the time and are known more for working for them and yet for some reason there not in this show and while Christ Jericho was offered a chance to appear in this show but turned it down due to the fact that he's also the narrator of Dark Side Of The Ring and is close with the shows producers there wasn't a reason given as to why the other WCW wrestlers who are all still alive weren't even asked to be on the show when they should have been asked as WCW is apart of there legacy and it's something that would have brought more eyes to the show as fans of those people really would have watched this show due to the fact that there appearing on it.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly forty four minuets and ten seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for this show with all of the episodes of this show having roughly the exact grand total running time as well and to be fair this is is show that really did need to be this long as there's no way that you can tell a story like in shorter episodes but where the show does fail isn't with it's running time it's with it's episode count as there only four episodes of this show when a story that when you really get down to it is alot more complex then what the show makes it out to be really did need a longer episode count in order to do the story alot more justice and by only doing this as a four episode show it really doesn't do the story any kind of justice and it means that that none of the episodes can't really go into that much detail either about what it was that caused WCW to become popular in the first place or what caused it do get cancelled but I will admit that this show does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is drama that means that I have to actually talk about the actual drama that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual drama that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. As alot of the drama in this show does come from a place of love either for the company or for the wrestling busisness as a whole and it was interesting to see that both Bret Hart and Bill Goldberg still don't like each other with Bret himself still blaming Goldberg for basically forcing him into retirement and blaming Eric for what he thinks is lying to him when he came to WCW and there's alot of solid drama like that all of other the show but at the same time tho there are some dramatic moments that with hindsight could have been fixed with them just sitting down and talking like the fact that Eric and Vince Russo still don't like each other due to a reason that's so complicated that it would take an entire documentary series to really do it justice and yet it's something that could have been fixed if the two of them just sat together and talked things out in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is a solid documentary but at the same time it's one that could have been alot longer by having a longer episode count as four episodes isn't long enough to do a story like this one justice and as a result of that is the fact that the series itself really does feel like a shorter version of what really went down in real life in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad thing that are in this very show in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very show really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Neon Genesis Evangelion "Angel Attack" Review

When it comes to anime there quite alot of legendary anime out there alot of which are ones that you pretty much have to watch at least once even if it's not all the way through. As is the case with the episode that i'm about to review for you all today as it's the debut episode of a really legendary anime that is still being talked about to this very day and so then join me as I review the episode that introduced the world to Shinji Ikari with the episode in question being called simply just "Angel Attack" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when the future city of Tokyo-3 finds itself under attack from a giant monster young Shinji Ikari must decide if he wants to fight or if he wants to sit there and do nothing. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot of the actual episode that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as it was a rather simple plot but at the same time tho the plot of this episode was also a rather thinly drawn out plot as well with the plot whilst it is indeed a really good plot for this debut episode to have isn't that strong of a plot as this is the first time that we the audience are getting to see these characters and yet when you have the main character unsure of what to do even tho he's been living in this world it doesn't really make sense for him to question if he wants to fight or not with the plot of the episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Casey Mongillo as Shinji Ikari , Carrie Keranen as Misato and Stephanie McKeon as Asuka. Also starring in this episode is Ryan Bartley as Rei Ayanami , Ray Chase as Gendo Ikari , anime voice acting legend Erica Lindbeck as Ritsuko Akagi , Tom And Jerry: Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory star J. P. Karliak as Kozo Fuyutsuki , Benjamin Diskin as Kensuke Aida , Greg Chun as Ryoji Kaji and Power Rangers star Johnny Yong Bosch as Toji Suzuhara.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With all of this episodes cast members turning in some really good performances and while yes not alot of the actors that have been listed appear in this episode it was hard to get a complete cast list for any version of the show and as you can no doubt work out this review is being based off of the Netflix dub of the show which wasn't that bad with all of the actors that do actually appear in this episode turning in some really solid performances which does make as someone like Erica Lindbeck is a really good voice actress and both she and the rest of this episodes cast do turn in some really solid performances with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all the actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is is something that really does help tom raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the really greats that are currently over at Gainax. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty shockingly good which was something that really surprising as you don't think of good animation being in nineties anime unless it's in a feature film as alot of anime series from that time period really don't have animation that hold up really well and that's not the case with this episode as this episodes animation really does hold up well and at times as in the above picture look like visually stunning and look like a piece of art as that's how good alot of this episodes really can be at points and all it does is make you wonder if the animation in this franchise is going to be as good if not better then the animation that we got in this episode which does go to show you just ho good the animation really was.

To give this episode some credit the characters in this episode are some really well written characters but at the same time Shinji Ikari is still just as annoying as he is in Evangelion 1.11. As all he does in this episode is spent alot of the episodes running time either crying or yelling and very little time actually acting like a normal and not annoying person and while it is understandable for the character to act this way in the first episode as this is only the first episode of the show at the same time tho it doesn't really give you a reason to like this character either and while that might be something that does get fixed in later episodes the first episode really needs to start of with it's best foot forward and that includes making your main character less annoying with the character of Misato is a good example of a good character as she's a fun character to watch in this episode who isn't afraid to be who she is but when the situation demands it she really can be just as serious and really just as demanding of the pilots as anyone else who works at Nerv.

One of the things that this show is known for is it's use of fanservice and that is something that's all over this first episode. As we get to see Misato in all kids of positions and revealing outfits that are fanservice and are there just because the makers of this show gave her a good body however while that would be seen as a bad thing by today's standards it is something that also proves a point as even tho she does look and in some cases act like a ditz alot of the time she is also who knows what she's doing and knows how to get Shinji to do what he needs to do at the end of episode which proves that she has more brains then what she's letting on and it also proves that there's more to her then just her looks with this further being proved in the scene where she and Shinji witness a bomb going of and she names the type of bomb despite them being nowhere near the bomb in question in order to get a good look at it and while she does admit to getting lost in the Nerv base something which we find out happens quite often the reasoning behind it does make sense as it's a new base and it's something that would happen if this was an old base that they'd been at for say a few years.

In a scene that does both feel pointless for this episode but is also needed for the franchise as a whole we do get to see that whatever damage the Eva takes the pilot also feels that damage and gets hurt as well. While a scene like that does feel pointless in this episode as it's something that adds to this episode at the same time it's something that adds something to the franchise as a whole as it says to us the audience that every single time that Shinji pilots his Eva he could die not just his mecha but him as a person and that is something does add an extra level of threat to an already threatening situation while a scene like this one doesn't really work in this episode as we the audience still don't know why the human race are fighting these giant monsters and would it be much better placed in say episode three maybe episodes two or four as by then the world of this show could start to developed alot more and that moment of seeing Rei basically close to death would make the whole situation and the whole idea hit home and hir alot more harder then what it does in this episode as it's something that really isn't needed in this episode.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty three minuets and thirty seven seconds. Which is a bit on the short side for an episode like this one to have as the episode really does have more then enough plot to cover at the very least forty five minuets and with that running time the episode could delve into the world more and it could start to develop alot of it;s characters alot more then what they already because as things stand alot of the characters don't get alot of time to get across what it is that there personality is even meant to be and in the case of Rei despite her being a main character she only gets a few lines of dialog near the end of the episode which does make sense as the episode really is meant to be about setting up Shinji but if the episode did have a slightly longer running time it would mean that the characters would get more of a chance to shine and whole yes the episodes plot is really thin at best the idea is there to really sustain a longer running time and the episode would benefit from having a longer time and it really would also mean that the world that this show really takes place in would really get more of a chance to really be fully fleshed out then what it already is in this final cut of the episode but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the problem as this episodes action isn't all that good either as all it is is the monster just getting getting attacked by the military and that's really it which is fine for say a Godzilla movie where you can also change it up by having Godzilla use his powers to keep things interesting here tho you don't have that advantage and as a result of that is the fact that you have to keep on creating interesting action scenes and having the military just pointlessly attacking this monster that they know they can't stop while it starts of good just slowly gets more and more boring however to this episodes credit having the episode basically be one long action scene is a good idea and it's during this episodes action where the animation really does come alive and leap of the screen as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a solid if a somewhat flawed episode to start this legendary anime out on and it;s quite clear tom see that even from this episode this show really did have alot of potential and while it did reach that potential in the end this episode really didn't do it any kind of favours whatsoever in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Spawn: The Animated Series: Burning Visions Review

Comic book superheroes getting an animated series in fact it's rather rare these days to find a comic book superhero that doesn't have an animated series. However what is still odd to this very day is to find an animated series that's just as adult and just as mature as the comic book that it spawned from and well that's just the case with the episode that i'm about to review for you all today and so then join me as I review the episode that has a shocking amount of narration in it with the episode in question being called simply just "Burning Visions" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when he is reincarnated and tasked to fight in the devils army Lieutenant Colonel Al Simmons must decide between doing what is right or doing the devils bidding. Now then interms of what I personally 5tyhought / felt about thew actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well the in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the problem tho as the plot of this episode wasn't all that good either as the plot really was so wafer thin at best that at times it was really hard to tell what the actual plot of the episode even was in the first place but when the plot did show up it really was a decent plot but it's just one that could have been done alot better and has been done better in other shows and movies with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With the acting in this episode being alot better then what it really had any right to be as nobody would blame the actors in this episode if they chose not give that good of a performance due to the fact that the Spawn character and the Spawn comic books aren't that well known and yet there's just as much love , care an attention from not only a show making point of view but also an acting point of view in this show that you'd expect in something like Batman: The Animated Series and because of that is the fact that all of this episodes cast members really do turn in some really good performances in this episode with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Koko Enterprises Company and Sheen Production. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode weas in all honesty really good with the animation in this episode being alot better then what it really had right to be which does make sense that given that one of the animation studios that are doing the animation for this episode also did animation for several episodes and films based off of Batman: The Animated Series and as a result of that is the fact that it really does make sense that they would turn in some really good animation in this episode as they always do turn in some really good animation with the characters having some really good and fluid movements and the backgrounds looking very visually striking all of which really do mesh well with the episodes more gothic tone and it's much more darker and horrific lore as well.

This episode and the show as a whole is a really violent show with there being lots of blood and gore in pretty much every single episode. Which is something that does make sense given that the Spawn character works for the devil and he would there for have access to all pf these gruesome ways to kill and hurt people which he does make great use in this episode and heck this episode is alot more violent then what the movie was and is alot more mature then other animated shows that were on at the time and much like Game Of Thrones and House Of The Dragon it does take full advantage of it's more mature rating by having alot of things that just wouldn't fly in other animated shows and because of that is the fact that the show really does standout from all of the other superhero animated shows that were out there at the time as alot of them do start to blend into one where as here because of mature and how violent this episode and this show is it stands out from all of the other superhero animated shows that were being released at the time.

One of the things that do let this episode down is the fact that they have a narrator who just doesn't shut up. With the narrator having more lines of dialog then any of the main characters and coming in on parts of the episode where he's not really needed and while yes having a narrator for your show does indeed help the show out as it makes the show feel a bit more different the episode also needed to let the characters talk as this is the first time that alot of the mainstream public are really getting to see these characters and having a narrator constantly talk and get in the way of the plot it is something that really can put alot of people of as it also gets in the way with giving us the audience a good chance to see just who these characters are as people and while yes the show has three seasons worth of episodes to get all of that across it is something that should have started with this episode as with a first episode you really need to put your best foot forward and that's really not something that happens with this episode in any way whatsoever and it is something that really does get in the way of the episode from reaching it's true potential.

This show is listed as being a horror show and yet outside of there being demons in this episode there was nothing to really justify being classed as a horror show. While maybe the gory deaths might help it be classed of a horror those aren't scary and horror needs to be scary but the idea of there being a horror comic book superhero animated show is a good idea as both horror and animation have blended together perfectly at several points in the past and and doing an animated horror show about a comic book would have the potential to be a really cool and while yes the demons in this episode do look really cool with Clown / Violator looking really cool he doesn't get to do all that much in the episode as the episode is all about telling us Spawn's origin story which does make sense but at the same time tho the episode should have set up some of his side villains as well and yet they really don't do that with Clown being the only recognisable villain to appear in this episode but all he does is just say a few lines of dialog here and there and that's really it and that's not enough for us the audience to geta decent idea of who that character is as a character.

Now then then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty seven minuets and thirty nine seconds. Which is a tad bit o the long side for this episode to have as the episode really doesn't have alot of plot to really cover that large amount of running time and because of that is the fact that this episode really could have been better if it was just a few minuets just to make the episode flow alot more better then what it already does because as things stand with the episode having a thin plot and long running time thing just don't flow all that well with Spawn's back story which is the main plot of the episode being told in flashback form with the main story revolving around a series of killings which isn't that interesting and bogs the episode down and as a result of that is the fact that the episode really would have been better if the episode was alot more focused on telling Spawn's origin and had the present day plot be saved for the second episode of the show as there's alot of story material that you could use from Spawn's origin which would make great use of the episodes running time but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. However at the exact same time the action that's in this episode wasn't all that good either as it wasn't as thrilling nor as cool or exciting as it really could have been and while yes we do get to see some really cool moments in this episode action wise there not as good as they really should have been nor as good as a character like this who has all of these dark powers really should have been either but to really give this episode some credit the episodes animation really does come alive during the episodes action and while we really don't get to see alot of cool moments from this episode action what we do get to see really is alot better then what it really had any right to be and is alot better then the action that we get in alot of other action shows which really does make sense as this episode and this show does have Batman: The Animated Series co-creator Eric Radomski working on it and it's quite clear that he knows how to stage some really good looking action scenes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this episode is indeed a decent start to the series it also doesn't give you a reason to want to watch the rest of the series either as there's no hook to this episode that makes you want to watch the next episode but the episode does have the potential to be a really good episode tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Noddy's Toyland Adventures "Noddy Loses Sixpence" Review

There are quite alot of childrens shows out there that are forgotten about for one reason or another be it because of the fact that the series itself didn't last long or the series itself just wasn't that good in the first place. Well the episode that i'm going to be talking about today is an example of a show being forgotten about because of the fact that those who grew up watching it just don't talk about it or don't let there kids see something from the same franchise and so then join me as I review the episode that introduces us to the world of toyland with the episode in question being called simply just "Noddy Loses Sixpence" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when he finds out that Mr. Milko the milkman has lost his watch Noddy sets out on a quest to find the watch and several other things that have been lost as well Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty simple at best and in this case that is a very good as that's all the plot to a kids show should be simple and with the plot of this episode being as simple as it is it does allow for a certain charm to shine on through something which wouldn't be possible if the episode had a much more complicated plot to it which would do alot more harm to the episode then it would do good for the episode with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Susan Sheridan as Noddy , Dinah Doll , Martha Monkey , Clockwork Mouse and Miss Pink Cat and Jimmy Hibbert as Big Ears , Mr Train Driver and Mr Milko. What makes this show standout is the fact that instead of having one voice actors play every role in the show it instead has two voice actors playing all of the roles in any given episode of the show which does allow for more variety in not only voices being heard at any given time but also in performances as it could be very easy to assume that since the acting is good in one episode that it's going to be good in all of the shows episodes as well and it also really does allow for the both of the actors to really bounce of each others personalities something which does come through in the final cut of the episode and while alot of other shows do now have multiple people voicing multiple roles in any given episode this was one of the shows that did it and did it well and it's something that really does work well enough in this episodes advantage.

With both of this episodes cast members turning in some really good performances so much that at times it was hard to tell who was playing who as the voices that each actors uses for there respective characters really does fit each character perfectly and perfectly captures the whimsical and playful tone of not only the world that this show takes place in but also the world that this show takes place in as well with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good and is something that does hold up all of these years later and while yes some of the animation in alot of these shows and this episode can come across as looking rather dated that does add to the charm to them as they then can also look timeless where as alot of CGI animation is going to look dated in a few months time here because there using stop motion animation it adds a slight timeless factor that is present throughout alot of the episode and while yes some of the animation in this episode does come across as looking rather bad and dated the overall quality of the animation that's in this episode was really good.

The best word that I can quite possibly use to describe this show and this episode is simple and that's because everything about this show is just that it's simple. With that being a really good thing as kids don't like having super dark and super complicated plots and characters in there young kids shows and instead having a show where the plots are simple and very easy to follow and the characters that whilst lacking much in the way of a personality are also simple can often make for a really enjoyable episode as is the case with this episode as due to the fact that the plot and the characters are simple heck even the backgrounds are simple looking backgrounds the whole episode has a certain charm to it that can't be beaten by modern day kids TV shows as those shows are trying to please everyone but end up pleasing no one where as a show like this knows that it's a simple show and and it really isn't afraid to be just that a simple and laid back show for little kids to watch , enjoy and hopefully learn a lesson from.

One of the biggest issue that there is to find with this show is that things are wrapped up a little bit two quickly. As it would have made for a rather exciting finish to the story if we saw Noddy returning all of the things that he found that day and collecting the money that was owed to him from everyone instead all of that happens off screen which in away does make sense as the episodes target audience most likely didn't have enough interest in seeing Noddy return everything that he found but at the same time given that returning those objects was a key part pf the episodes plot it would have made alot more sense to see him returning those objects and seeing if not hearing those people apologize to him after they thought that he lost there objects on purpose and yet because of the fact that all of that happens of screen what we end up with a something that not only feels unearned but also feels rushed as all heck as well when it worked out much more better in the episodes favor if we saw all of that stuff instead of having it happen off screen.

In what was a rather shocking move this episode does actually try to make us the audience cry and feel something for Noddy. Which both does and doesn't work it does work in the sense that the episode has made the Noddy character out to be this really sympathetic character who really will do the best that he can do to help out all of his friends but at the same time tho it doesn't work in the episodes favor as it doesn't really feel earned and comes out of nowhere this is due to the fact that this is only the episodes first series and while a moment like this could have worked if it was much more further down in the series order as by that point in time we the audience would have had alot more time to get to know not only Noddy but all of the other characters as well and as a result of that is the fact that the more emotional moment would worked better but having it here just lessens it's impact a little bit as we don't know the Noddy character all that well yet and neither do we know all of the other characters in toyland all that well yet either,

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly ten minuets and twenty eight seconds. Which is about the bogstandard running time for a show like this one to have and to the episodes credit it does have more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that amount of running time and it does take as full advantage of that running time as it really could have done and while yes the episode would have worked better if it did have a slightly longer running time as that would allow the characters to become alot more fleshed out then what they already but really at the same time tho that would mean that this episode already thin plot as wonderfully written as it is really would be stretched out even thinner then what it already is and that would be a huge issue for the episode as a whole and that would also mean that the episodes target audience might start to loose interest in the show as a whole but I really will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the problem as alot of this episodes isn't all that good either apart from Miss Pink Cat being a really over the top drama queen none of the characters in this episode are that funny nor are they given that many funny things to say or do and as a result of that is the fact that we're left watching these characters that we don't really know all that well just go about there day to day lives and while that is fine for a thirty minuet show that's aimed at an older audience for a ten minuet little kids show however the jokes really do need to be at least passable or something that they'd find to be funny in someway shape or form in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this show was a really good show that kids could really enjoy thanks to the animation and the simple character the episode feels like it should have been alot more further down in the series running order instead of being the first episode of the series as whole in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
