Doctor Who: The Giggle SPOILER FILLED Review

Regeneration episodes are always difficult to get right as you have to wrap up characters arcs and storylines that defined that doctor. Well not long after his run started we now have another regeneration story out in the world with this story also seeing the end of the Doctor Who sixtieth anniversary specials and well you all just knew that I had to take a look at this episode and so then join me as I give you SPOILER FILLED review of the episode that really sees the debut of a new Doctor and the reintroduction of a classic Doctor Who villain with the episode in question being called simply just "The Giggle" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when The Doctor and Donna discover that the human race is believing that they each and everyone of them is right they have to find out who is behind this scheme and stop them once and for all. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about thew actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty iI in all honesty personally thought /felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the issue as the plot for this episode wasn't all that good either with this episodes plot just feeling like a paint by numbers Doctor Who script only without all of the charm that we know for a fact that this episodes writer Russel T. Davies can deliver but I will admit that this episodes plot was also rather entertaining and and rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is David Tennant as The Doctor , and Catherine Tate as Donna Noble and Neil Patrick Harris as The Toymaker. Also starring in this episode is Jemma Redgrave as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart , Ruth Madeley as Shirley Bingham , Charlie De Melo as Charles Banerjee  , John MacKay as John Logie Baird , Alexander Devrient as Colonel Ibrahim , Tim Hudson as Edward Lawn Bridges , Aidan Cook as The Vlinx , Nicholas Briggs as The Voice Of The Vlinx , Lachele Carl as Trinity Wells , Leigh Lothian as The Voice Of Stooky Sue and Ncuti Gatwa as The Doctor.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in  this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As the cast kin this episodes are a bunch if really good actors and do now how to turn in a good performance yet because of the fact that this episodes script just isn't that good this episodes cast just can't can't turn that good of a performance as the script just won't allow them to do so which is a shame as when this cast really does turn in a good performance and yet for some reason be it due to the episodes script or the episodes director just not knowing how to direct her cast really very well they really just don't turn in that good of a performance in this episode.

Doing the CGI for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Automatik VFX and Real SFX. Now then interms if what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good which is really nothing new as al three of these specials have always had some really good CGI in them thanks in part to the budget being increased by Disney and heck this episodes CGI is so near to being movie quality as it's that good and if this is the level of CGI that we're getting in the show moving forward then hopefully it will mean that the show moving forward will also have some really good CGI in it as well with this episode having alot more good CGI in it then does have bad looking CGI in it.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

This is of course the episode that sees Ncuti Gatwa make his debut in the show which is something that we all knew. However he actually appears in the episode for alot longer then what anybody could have expected with him appearing in at least the last fifteen minuets of the episode and just based of this episode it does look like that this new doctor will be a bit like Matt Smith's version of The Doctor as from what we can see in this episode he's a very excited type of character and yet at the same time he's also very alien and childlike which was very much like how Matt Smith's version of The Doctor was as well and if that is the case then it doesn't give this new version of The Doctor much of an identity as all it would be doing is reminding us of a much more better version of the character but it is something that could work tho.

This episode not also gives us the return of The Toymaker but it also gives us the return of Bonnie Langford as Melanie Bush. With The Toymaker being a creepier version of Geppetto from Pinocchio in that he does like to play games with people and he does use puppets alot of the time and while the character does get some genuinely funny moments he doesn't get alot of chances to really be creepy but he does get to have alot of screen time with The Doctor then Mel does with her role basically being an extended cameo as she now works at UNIT and yet she barely talks to The Doctor and barely catches up with him yes they do have one scene where they catch up but they could have done so much more then that but that's just like these specials to give us rather under-cooked moments and characters with the same thing also true for Rose who does appear in this special but she's given nothing to do and really isn't given much of a personality either.

We do get something new added to the lore in this episode and that's Bi-generation this is something that is going to male people angry. However back in 1966 the idea of regeneration was a new idea and yet now we love it and here if they explore the idea of there being myths regarding regeneration further down the line then it really could be an interesting addition to the lore of the show as the very idea of there being myths and legends surrounding what is and isn't possible possible regeneration is indeed a very interesting idea but it's an idea that needs to be developed a bit more before it becomes a fully thought idea and plus the idea of the previous Doctor having to help his or her future self emerge from regeneration is something that can lead to some rather unique looking visuals and while the idea of Bi-generation is a good idea it's pointless to add something to the idea of regeneration as the very regeneration is a perfect idea as it is.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and one minuet and three seconds. Which is a bit on the long side for this episode to have as when you really get right down to it this episode really doesn't have alot there interms of plot to over that large amount of running time which means that we do get some really pointless scenes that add nothing to the overall plot of the episode with the best example of that being the Spice Up Your Life scene and the scene where The Doctor and Donna each confront some of The Toymakers puppets as both scenes add nothing to the overall plot of the episode with both scenes really feeling alot more like fuller and could have very easily have been cut out from the entire episode and nothing that's actually important to the plot of the episode would have been lost but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that;'s actually featured / presented to us un this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With this episode having some really good action with the best action scene in the whole entire episode being the one between the two doctor and The Toymaker not due to how exciting it is but rather instead it's due to how tense and engaging that it is with that action scene being really gripping as it really does leave you wondering just how The Doctor will win the day this time and just how The Toymaker will loose which does make it a really good action scene in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Overall while this episode is perhaps the most OK of all three specials it is still a rather solid and one that does a good job of setting up things for future episodes of the show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from with all three specials as a whole getting a combined score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well the boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episode that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on Google Images  are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Merry Little Batman Film Review

Batman as a character has appeared in quite literally dozens if not hundreds of forms of different media. With their now being a brand new Batman animated film out their one which sees the character enter a new form of entertainment and well this was a film that I just really had to check it out just due to the fact that it makes you wonder how in the heck they really were going to pull all of this off in the first place and so then join me as I review the film that sees Batman enter the world of kids Christmas movies for the very first time with the film in question being called simply just "Merry Little Batman" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when Damien has his utility belt stolen he goes looking all throughout Gotham in order to find it before his dad gets back from a mission. Now then interms if what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this film plot being the least of this films issues as it is the kind of kid friendly affair that you'd expect to see around this time of year and to this films credit it's plot is fairly entertaining and fairly engaging as well despite the fact that alot of the choices that they make regarding this films plot don't make that much sense in the slightest in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Luke Wilson as Bruce Wayne / Batman , Yonas Kibreab as Damian Wayne and James Cromwell as Alfred Pennyworth. Also starring in this film is David Hornsby as The Joker , Dolph Adomian as Mr. Freeze , Brian George as The Penguin , Theresa McLaughlin as Poison Ivy , Chris Sullivan as Bane , Cynthia McWilliams as Vicki Vale , Michael Fielding as Terry , Natalie Palamides as Francine and Reid Scott as Comissioner Gordon.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the issue as this films acting isn't all that good either with alot of the cast being really miscast with Luke Wilson being the best example of this as he just doesn't sound like Batman at all with the same thing being true for alot of this films cast members with this not really being helped by the fact that this films script just isn't that good which means that this films cast can't turn in a good performance as the films script just won't allow for it as that's just how bad this films script really well and truly is.

Doing the animation for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Gigglebug and Doghead Animation. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well the in  all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this episode having better quality animation then what it really deserved to have but at the same time this films animation just isn't that good as some of the other DC animated outputs out there and while this film does indeed have better animation then Aquaman: King Of Atlantis TV series that's not really a high bar to reach as this films animation just isn't as good as it perhaps should or even could have been.

Speaking of Aquaman: King Of Atlantis the character designs in this film are on par with the character designs in that show. As the character designs in this film are just as of putting and really ugly looking as the character designs in that show with all of the characters barring Damien looking really ugly with the less said about what they did to Alfred the better as he really got the worst end of it both from a writing point of a view and a character design point of view the fact that Warner Bros and DC gave the OK to these designs is truly astounding as they usually nail the character designs down perfect and yet for some strange reason in this film they just chose to give the OK to the worst possible designs that they could have thought of be it because this is a kids film or a kids christmas film that is still no excuse for having really ugly looking character designs.

As alot of you know this film started out of a project for Max formerly HBO Max before the film was cut from that network before it was then picked up by Amazon and after seeing the final product Warner Bros did kind of dodge a bullet. As while this film is a pretty bad film it's also a film that could have made for regular yearly viewings for families which means that HBO Max would have been getting a yearly boost in viewership but as they decided to drop the film it's now Amazon that's going to be getting that yearly boost while HBO Max is going to keep on struggling animation wise as they really don't have any good animated films or TV show originals on their platform where as the opposite is true for streaming services like Netflix and Amazon who can afford to take the hits with a few bad animated films and shows HBO Max right now can't afford to do that.

This film takes the Teen Titans Go approach to things as it's a superhero comedy that's filled to the brim with references to other Batman media. Which unlike Teen Titans Go just doesn't work as the target audience for this film aren't going to know just who Bob Kane and Bill Finger are nor are they going to get alot of the references and alot of the jokes in this film as this films jokes just aren't that funny at the best of times or are to childlike at their worst this is something that really shouldn't be the case as past DC animated have proven that Batman can work as a superhero comedy as all you need are good jokes and a good story and while this films story is trying to be really good it's the films jokes on the other hand just aren't that good with there not really being any funny jokes to be found in this whole entire film.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty six minuets and two seconds. Which is a tad bit on the long side for this film as realistically this film really doesn't have enough there interms of either plot or story to cover that large amount of running time with the film having alot of scenes that are just filler scenes and nothing more then that which means that this film really should have been no longer then forty five minuets as that's how much plot there in this film and when you add in the fact that alot of the second act of this film just feels like it's on repeat mode with the film having alot of scenes that are just copies or scenes from this very film it really does make it feel like that the makers of this film just included those scenes to pad out the films running time with this not really being helped by the fact that this film really goes have some pretty bad pacing to it as well.

So now then as this is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this film having some really good looking action scenes in this film the issue is tho is that this film features more bad looking action scenes then it does good looking ones which does make sense as the film does put alot more focus on the comedy aspect of the film but the film does it's action alot better then it does it's comedy and as this is a superhero comedy film there needs to be a balance between action and comedy with the makers of this film putting alot more effort in the comedy then they are the action in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall as a Christmas film this film is pretty harmless with their being nothing that will harm little kids and will hopefully get them in the Christmas spirit but as a Batman film this film quite clearly isn't the best representation of Batman and the Batman characters in the slightest un my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then  i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Aquaman fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that really alot of the images that are on Google Images are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

A Disturbance In The Force Film Review

There are so few things out there that people can outright say is the worst thing ever done in the world of Star Wars. Well The Stars Holiday Special is one of those things as it's special that's so bad that even George Lucas himself wants to see every single tape of that special destroyed for good well now there's documentary all about that very special and well I just had to check this film the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I review the film that sheds some light on a very dreadfully bad special with the film in question being called simply just "A Disturbance In The Force" enjoy.

As this is a documentary film there is no plot to speak of but what this film is about is how the holiday special got made. This is a very interesting story to tell as it's one that's never been told with alot of the cast of the special just outright ignoring it's existence for the longest of times so much so that the special became something of a myth and as such hearing how this special came to be , what the original intentions where behind the making of this special and what ultimately led to it's downfall was something that was really interesting ad while it doesn't really make the special look good in any sense of the word what it does do is act as a cautionary tale as it says that you really shouldn't just hand of your property to a group of people who are only really interested in making alot of money and not because they have a passion for the source material but I will admit that the premise for the film really one that is very entertaining and really interesting one to say the least in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Bruce Vilanch , Kevin Smith , 'Weird Al' Yankovic , Mick Garris and Donny Osmond. Also starring in this film is Jason Lenzi , Seth Green , Taran Killam , Steve Binder , Craig Miller , Gilbert Gottfried , Lenny Ripps , Brian Ward , Paul Scheer , Fanboys director Kyle Newman , Matthew Robbins , Miki Herman , Marc Pevers , Jonathan Rinzler , Anthony Caleca  , Larry Heider , Bob Mackie , Bonnie Burton , Beverly Abdurahmen , Alisa Abdurahmen , Scott Kirkwood , Steve Schuster and Gus Lopez.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about thew actual people that they actually got to interview in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual people that they actually interviewed in this very film were good choices. As a few of them do have ties to either Star Wars or the holiday special with at least three people in this film being involved with the special on the creative side as either co-writer or the director but alot of the people that they got too interview in this film were just fans of the franchise which isn't as fun and it goes against the premise of the film as such it would have been to this films benefit if we got more people who worked on the special to appear in this film so that they could talk about their experiences working on the special and add some insight into why they personally thought that the holiday special wasn't as good as it could have been.

In fact the very fact that this film is here at all is truly something to behold as for a long time the holiday special was just a myth and nothing more then that. As the special only aired once on November 17th 1978 and since then the special has never aired again on TV and it's never seen an official home media release as such not alot of people would have known about this special to begin with with even fewer people knowing about the specials very troubled production which resulted in several crew members including the specials original director leaving the project all of which combine to make it a wonder that we even got this special to begin with and as such it has a knock on effect of it also being a wonder that this film even got made in the first place as not alot of people would have known about this special in the first place.

While we do get some people who have a connection to Star Wars be it because they tried to produce a TV show based on Star Wars or because they produced and directed the film Fanboys which has Star Wars at it's core. I would have liked it if we got appearances from any of the original trilogy cast members who appeared in this special as that would have allowed then to touch upon things that they just don't touch on in the film as it is which is a shame as those stories could have made for some very interesting and entertaining aspects of the film and while we do get to hear people talk about Mark's dreadful makeup in this special it would have been more interesting to hear him talk about that as he was the one who made up like that and he was the one who has to put up with seeing pictures of himself like that.

This film does go into alot of the backstory about why the holiday special was created in the first place which while needed does go on a bit to long. As we don't really need to know every step of the creative process behind the special we just need a more condensed version of it and nothing more then that as what alot of us came to see this film to see is to find out why the special ended up as bad as it was we don't need to see why they decided to create a special and find out all of the process behind getting the writers and what was going in seven ties TV at the time as those don't add anything to the overall film and alot of them really could have been cut from the film yes we do need to see some of the main creative process and thoughts behind the film but we don't need to see every single one of it as that is something that drags the film down quite alot and it also makes the film quite hard to watch at times as well.

To this films credit it doesn't shy away from saying that the production of the special was a hellish one tow work on. With the cast working long hours and lots of interference from the network which led to several key creative people walking away so much so that nobody from Lucasfilm was left on the production of this special and this film doesn't shy away from the fact they all but admit that they hired the wrong writers for this special as they hired writers who mostly worked on variety shows and hadn't done anything science fiction and were most likely not Star Wars fans in the first place with that last part being understandable as there was only one piece of Star Wars media out at the time but they could have hired writers who had not only worked on a variety show but were also science fiction fans and had worked on something science fiction as that would have the special alot more better then what it ended up being.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total run running time of exactly one hour ad thirty one minuets and twenty eight seconds. Which while on paper doesn't sound like a long running time it very quickly becomes a long running time when you take into account that the film takes a long time just about detailing the production of the special and not really talking about the choices that led to it failing which is understandable as you have to tell the story of how the special came to be before you can talk about it how it became a failure but at the same time tho there's alot of that stuff that really could have been cut out as it adds nothing to the overall premise of the film and it's those scene that really bog the film done with this not really being helped by the fact that the film has some really bad pacing to it as well.

So now then as this film does have some comedy moments in tit that means that I have ti actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured /presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. As alot of the interviewees do tell some decent jokes but at the same time they also tell alot of jokes that really aren't that funny with alot of this films jokes not really being that memorable which is a shame as when this film does tell a good and funny joke it really is funny but on the flip side of that is the fact that this film doesn't put alot of focus on it's comedy which is rather understandable as this film isn't listed as a comedy but it would have been nice if this film had more jokes in it just to make the film a bit more easier to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film is a really solid but at the same time it doesn't cover alot of the things that would have made the film alot more interesting and alot more entertaining as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very review as such that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Christmas Specials fandom wiki page , the official Star Wars fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that really alot of the images that are on Google Images are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Worzel Gummidge "A Cup O' Tea And A Slice O' Cake" Review

The christmas season is now upon us and that means that alot of TV shows are gearing up to release their christmas specials. As such it was only about right that as i've been taking a look back at the classic Worzel Gummidge TV series that I now take a look at the shows only christmas special which also has the honor of being the final time that a few side characters appear in the show and so then join me as I review the episode that is the franchises only hour long episode with the episode in question being called simply just "A Cup O' Tea And A Slice O' Cake" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when Worzel goes to ask Aunt Sally out to a scarecrow ball he gets more then he bargained for after getting on The Crowman's last nerve. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really fun and was a good example of just how fun a Worzel Gummidge plot can be whilst also being a nice and very well written christmas special that doesn't take itself far to seriously with this episodes plot also being really rather entertaining , fun and engaging as well which made the episode feel all the more epic in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Jon Pertwee as Worzel Gummidge , Una Stubbs as Aunt Sally and Jeremy Austin as John Peters. Also starring in this episode is Geoffrey Bayldon as The Crowman , Mike Berry as Mr. Peters , Norman Bird as Mr. Braithwaite , Charlotte Coleman as Sue Peters , Billy Connolly as Bogle McNeep , Laurence Harrington as Cyril , Megs Jenkins as Mrs. Braithwaite , Frank Marlborough as Atkins , Bill Maynard as Sgt Beetroot , Norman Mitchell as P.C. Parsons , Wayne Norman as Pickles Brambles , Bill Pertwee as A Lorry Driver , Michael Ripper as Mr. Shepherd , Thorley Walters as Colonel Bloodstock and Dame Barbara Windsor as Saucy Nancy.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well the in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought '/ felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. Which for this show isn't really all that new as this show has always had good acting in it with the same thing also being true for the series lesser episodes and alot of that comes down to the fact that the makers of this show treated this show as if they were working on a film and that means getting good acting out of your cast members and it's also due to the fact that the shows cast are bunch of really good actors and it's also due to the fact that the script for this episode is also really well written and so all the cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them really naturally.

What was shocking to find out is the fact that this special had a scene filmed when filming for the shows second series as the special was meant to air after the shows second series. With this special for some strange reason being held back a year with the only scene that was filmed during that time being the first scene in the barn with Worzel and children and even then you can't really tell that it was filed a year before the rest of the episode was even shot as the kids don't look like that they've aged at all and the makeup for Worzel is still good the only telling piece of evidence is the fact that the scarf that Jon's wearing goes from long to short and that's really it as it really does look like it was all filmed at the exact same time with both of the scenes blending together really well and matching up together really well as well.

Speaking of Jon there is one part of a scene in this episode was a pure accident and that's the fact that we do see Jon really fall when running to Worzel near the end of the episode. However director and producer James Hill liked it so much that it was kept it and it's easy to see why as it does make the scene more lighthearted and it makes the scene in question feel more human on top of giving us a more natural reaction from both Charlotte Coleman and Jeremy Austin which is just something that you can't replicate and it just goes to show you that sometimes you can get gold not by planning it all out to the very last accident but sometimes it happens just by accident as is the case with the scene in this episode and it's scene that really does work well but what would have made the scene even more special would have been if either Worzel Gummidge , Aunt Sally or Sue ad-libbed a,line mentioning the fact that Jon just fell over.

While you can quite clearly tell from the first shot of the episode that this episode had a much more bigger budget then the rest of the series. The show also doesn't use it's many more guest stars all that well with them just popping in for one scene with Jon Pertwee and then leaving which does make the episode feel like that it's on repeat mode alot of the time as all we see is Worzel bumbling his way from situation to the next with the loose story thread of him trying to get Aunt Sally but always getting distracting along the way which does make the episode feel a tad bit boring as alot of those scenes could have cut down quite alot or just straight up cut put of the episode as they really add nothing to the overall plot of the episode and while the added budget does give us some more amazing looking scarecrows to look at for the guest stars alot of them just don't really add anything to the plot episode despite there designs having a tone of character to them.

Despite looking everywhere on both the episodes end title credits and on various IMDB pages I cannot find out whom wrote the sings for this episode. As for some strange reason this episode is the only one that's a musical which is a shame as alot of the shows cast can sing and this episode does have some really good songs for the must part with Worzel's opening song "Christmas Isn't Christmas" being a nice slow ballad song but while it is a nice song it's not the type of song that you'd want to be the first musical number in your episode as it's a bit two slow to really get people excited for the rest of the episode and Aunt Sally's song while funny doesn't really advance the plot of the episode with the same thing kind of also being true for Saucy Nancy's song as well with the best song in the whole entire episode being "A Cup O'Tea And A Slice O' Cake" as that song really is just a fun filled song that is the perfect song to end the episode on.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this episodes running time even was I do know for a fact that this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly fifty two minuets. Which does make this episode the longest episode of the classic Worzel Gummidge series and to this episodes it does have more then enough interms of plot to really cover that large amount of running and while the episodes story does feel a little bit thin at times there's not really much padding to the story to make it stretch for this extra long running time which they very easily could have done and while I would have liked it if the songs where a bit more spaced out it's understandable that they had to fit them all in before they got to the big finale song but alot of them are played so close to each other that we the audience don't really get a chanced to catch our breathes before the next song has already started playing and to this episode credit tho it really does have some really good pacing to it.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I gave to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With this episode having some really cute and funny moments however the main focus of this episode isn't the comedy it's giving us a really solid Christmas message about how sometimes it's the simple things that are the best things and how Christmas is all about family and friends but with that that said it would have been better if we did get some more jokes in it just to make the message hit home even harder as what little jokes we do get are really funny and are a good example of just how funny that this episode can be when it's at it's absolutely best in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall not only do I highly recommend this episode to everyone but I also recommend this series as well as both this episode and this series are just really that good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the god and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 9 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Amazon . Co . UK , Wikipedia and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on Google Images  are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Lady Death: The Movie Film Review

For every well know comic book movie out their there are going to be a lot more little known or unknown comic book films out their. With the film that i'm about to review for you all today being one that's very unknown as it's based of off a very unknown character and judging by this film I can see why this film isn't that well known and so then join me as I review the film that tries to be cool just really isn't cool in the slightest with the film in question being called simply just "Lady Death: The Movie" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when she is tricked into going to hell by her own father Hope swears revenge on him and will do whatever it takes to free the souls of her loved ones. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty one of the worst parts of the film as the films plot was very weak at est with it at times being very hard to work just what the actual plot of the film is as this films plot just comes and goes whenever it chooses which makes it seem like that this film really doesn't have plot however when the plot is there it is a fairly entertaining and as well as being a really engaging plot in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Christine Auten as Lady Death / Hope , Mike Kleinhenz as Lucifer / Matthias and Andy McAvin as Pagan. Also starring in this film is  , Rob Mungle as Cremator , Mike MacRae as Asmodeus and A Large Torture Troll , Chris Patton as Niccolo , Dwight Clark as Father Orbec , Maureen McCullough as Marion , John Swasey as General Ahriman , Torture Guards and A Demon Priest and James Faulkner as General Utuk Xul.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting tat's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not hat but that's also the issue. As this films acting isn't all that good either none of which is the fault of the actors as there only being told what to do and can only be do the best job that they can do with the script that's being given to them and sadly this films script just isn't that good as the script doesn't give the cast alot to work with interms of what their respective characters personalities even are which means that this films cast just can't turn in that good of a performance as this films script just won't allow for it as it really just that bad of a script.

Doing the animation for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Summin Image Pictures Co., LTD.. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this films animation being the highlight of the film as it really is alot better then what it really had any right to be as nobody expects a direct to DVD movie about a very unknown comic book character to have good animation in it and yet that's exactly what this film has and while it's not better then alot of other direct to DVD movies it really is alot better then what it really had any right to be.

For those of you that might not know about this character this film is based of off the comic book character Lady Death who made her debut back in Evil Ernie number one in December 1991. With the character actually still going to do this very day which is truly shocking as the characters original publisher Chaos! Comics went bankrupt whilst this film was in development with the character now having stores published by Coffin Comics the character having been there since 2012 and is still going strong with new releases almost every single year with all of her stories having been written by her original creator Brian Pulido who also came up with the story for this film as well and is pretty much the main creative driving force behind the Lady Death character having written most if not all of her comic book stories.

While I cannot say for sure if this film is true representation of the comic books what I can say is that this film is based of The Reckoning storyline from the comic books. With this film being a very mature story which if that's true to how the character is and how her stories are in the comic books then that would make this film a fairly well done representation of the comic books but if not then it would make this a fairly bad representation of the source material with this film from what I can gather cutting out stuff from The Reckoning storyline but it's hard to say if those omissions would harm the story in any way but as they are in the film they don't harm the story in any way shape or form as the film pretty much has no story to harm in the first place which does also make those omissions seem rather pointless as well.

Just like every single mid 2000's comic book film this one also features a rather lackluster villain with this films villain just being boring. Which really shouldn't be the case at all as this films main villain is Lucifer and as such it should have been really easy to make him a cool villain with a cool scheme and end goal in mind and yet for some strange reason this film doesn't do either of those things as while he does look somewhat cool he has no scheme and no end goal in mind and as such he just comes across as being because of the fact that he's The Devil and that doesn't make him an interesting villain as all it does is make him come across as being a rather flat and boring villain which has the knock on effect of making Lady Death herself seem rather flat and boring as the villain should be just as interesting if not more so then the hero and as such if the villain is rather flat boring and rather uninteresting then it also makes the hero rather flat , boring an uninteresting as well.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and sixteen minuets and twenty three seconds. Which is a bit on the long side form this film as while the film does have alot of story to cover that amount of running time the films story is just so weak that and so thinly drawn out that the film adds alot of scenes that add nothing to the overall plot with those scenes feeling alot more like padding as those are scenes that could be removed from the film and nothing of importance would actually be lost yes it would mean a shorter running time but it would also mean having a much more tighter film that flows alot better which is sadly not the case with the film as it is as the film does jump around the timeline with no warning nor does it let you know how much time has passed inbetween scenes which really does make things a tad bit confusing but I really will admit that this film really does have some truly wonderful pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With the action in this film being really cool to look but at the same time it's not as cool as it perhaps could have or even should have been as the film really doesn't take full advantage of it's setting and as a result of that this films action feels like that they could be taking place in any setting which robs them of being some really cool action which really is a shame as an action film set in hell really does open itself up to a lot of really cool and and really awesome action scenes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this while this film is a pretty much forgotten about comic book movie it's also one that should be seen and talked about especially now when everybody is trying to make a female focused comic book movie in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Lady Death fandom wiki page , Wikipedia and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episode that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on Google Images  are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

House Of The Dragon "The Princess And The Queen" Review

It's been roughly eleven months since I last reviewed an episode of House Of The Dragon and well with the trailer for season quite literally dropping before sitting down to write this review. I thought that now was the absolutely right time to delve back into the show by watching an episode that I never got to watch upon it's first airing and so then join me as I review the episode that features the franchises biggest time skip to date with the episode in question being called simply just "The Princess And The Queen" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is with the birth of her third son Princess Rhaenyra continues to field allegations about her children from Queen Alicent while Daemon receives an offer that he might not be able to refuse. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad with this episodes plot being alot better then what it really had any right to be as on paper a plot like this one shouldn't have worked and yet because we've had alot of time to really to get to know these characters this plot does somehow work and is also really entertaining ad really engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Paddy Considine as King Viserys I Targaryen and Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen. Also starring in this episode is Olivia Cooke as Queen Alicent Hightower , Emma D'Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen , Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole , Graham McTavish as Ser Harrold Westerling, Matthew Needham as Larys Strong , Jefferson Hall as Ser Tyland Lannister , Gavin Spokes as Lord Lyonel Strong , Bill Paterson as Lord Lyman Beesbury , Ryan Corr as Ser Harwin Strong , Leo Hart as Prince Jacaerys Velaryon , Harvey Sadler as Prince Lucerys Velaryon , Ty Tennant as Prince Aegon Targaryen , Leo Ashton as Prince Aemond Targaryen , Evie Allen as Princess Helaena Targaryen , Shani Smethurst as Lady Baela Targaryen , Eva Ossei-Gerning as Lady Rhaena Targaryen , John Macmillan as Ser Laenor Velaryon , Nanna Blondell as Lady Laena Velaryon , Kurt Egyiawan as Grand Maester Orwyle , Paul Kennedy as Lord Jasper Wylde , Luke Tittensor as Ser Arryk Cargyll , Alexis Raben as Talya and Arty Froushan as Ser Qarl Correy.

Now then interms of what  personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well the in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty  really good. Which is really nothing as the acting from this franchise has always been really good and so to expect anything but good acting from this episode would be foolish and part of what makes the acting in this episode really good is not only the fact that the episodes cast are a bunch of really good actors but it's also due to the fact that the episodes director and the shows co=producer Miguel Sapochnik really does know how to direct his cast and how to get a bunch of really good performances out of all of his cast and it's also due to the fact that the script for this episode is really good and as such all the cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them really naturally.

Doing the CGI for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Incessant Rain Studios. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty ,personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with this episodes CGI being movie quality as it was really that good which just like the acting isn't really all that surprising as this franchise has always had some really good CGI in all of their with this episode just going to show you that if you give something enough money you will always get some really good looking CGI that will stand the test of time.

The key theme running all throughout this episode is family with Daemon ignoring his family and his family trying to get him to notice them and Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen trying to project her family from that of Queen Alicent. Thus was key to making the episode work as the Targaryens are all about family and as such showing one of therm doing anything that they can do to protect her family does oddly make sense what doesn't make is Daemon ignoring his family as all they are trying to do is help him and to find some place permanent to stay something which Daemon should be willing to help them out with as he's all about family and yet he's ignoring his own family and their own wants and needs for seemingly no reason which doesn't make sense interms of his character and all it does is make him look like a really terrible father and family man.

Seeing both Rhaenyra and Alicent continue going from the absolute best of friends to bitter enemies is really interesting. As it does show that anyone can be drawn into playing the Game Of Thrones weather they know it or not and seeing just how far one of them will go to embarrass the other just hits home that right now there is no going to being just friends and this show does the smart by resenting neither of them of being in the right ad neither of them as being in the wrong as as we see in this very episode both characters are both show that can be in the right and yet both in the wrong at the exact same time which only makes there falling out all the more tragic as they were both pretty much doomed to be friends turned deadly enemies and while Rhaenyra does try to extend an olive branch to Alicent it doesn't come from a place of love it comes from out of desperation of trying to keep the secret of who is really her kids father just that a secret and while Alicent does try to get Rhaenyra to tell the truth about who her kids father really is it doesn't really come out of a place of love as it really comes out of a place of trying to get one up on Rhaenyra.

There are some things that I didn't like about this episode like for example the fact Alicent has so far been this rather smart person who knows how to get what she wants. She allows herself to get played by Larys Strong. As while he gets a higher position in his own family she is left with guilt for his actions and her actions which is something that the Alicent of previous episodes would never have done no matter how desperate she is as she would have always have done the smart thing and not acted on impulse but on the flip side of this is the fact that it now adds a time bomb to the friendly relationship between Alicent and Larys as it's now only a matter of time before she tells the king what's happened and what her involvement in it was.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this episodes running time even was I do know that for a father that this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly one hour and four minuets. Which to this episodes really is the perfect running time for this episode to have as it really does have alot of story to really cover that large amount of running time and given just how much it has to set up for the rest of the first season and how much it had to explain where these characters are in their lives ten years after the events of episode five it really did need a larger running time in order to do all of that and still tell a really good story which thankfully it managed to do really well and I will very much that this episode really does gave some really good pacing to it as well.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually feature /presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As the only kind of action that we get to see in this episode was just two people hitting each other but it was something that was so well done as it was built up not really well not only in this episode but in the previous episodes and as such it makes sense that these two would bare knuckle fight each other and to this episodes credit the action in this episode looked really goo in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a really solid episode of a really great show and while it's not as good as other episodes in this show it's still a really good episodes that alot of people will enjoy watching in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as well of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode earns itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that personally used in this very review the official Game Of Thrones fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very post being the official Game Of Thrones fandom wiki page since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on the really great freaking the official Game Of Thrones fandom wiki page are all of course really fairly freaking high in freaking quality and as well as them all really being very fairly freaking high in definition.
