My Top 5 "Best" Tom and Jerry Crossover Movie Ideas

Hello cartoon fans since the Tom and Jerry franchise has decided it now wants to best mates with every other franchise out there i thought i'd tell you what my top 5 "best" ideas for a future crossover moive and incase you cannot tell this is post just for pure fun and is not to be taken seriously and there are a few ground rules the first being it has to be with a property owned by Warner Bros.or in the case of the first entry have a partnership with Warner Bros. and the second being more obvious it has to be something that hasn't been released yet so here we go.

5) Tom and Jerry: WWE

Now like most of these entries i won't have any plot details but i think that given the recent trend of having WWE superstars team up with classic cartoon characters it's only a matter of time before they team up with Tom and Jerry.

4) Tom and Jerry: The Jetsons

Out of all the entries that i've thought of this one could be the most plausible since we know that dogs exist in the The Jetsons world so it makes sense that both cats and mice would also exist as well and i'm not going to lie when i came up with this list this was one of the ones i wanted to see the most.

3 Tom and Jerry: Wacky Races

Now i know that they already a Tom and Jerry racing themed movie with 2005's Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry but i think pairing them with the Wacky Races gang would just be a bizarre thing to watch but also bad in a funny kind of way.

Tom and Jerry: The Flintstones

Honestly this is only here because i want to see Tom and Jerry interact with The Flintstones cast just that alone should make for at least an entertaining movie.

1) Tom and Jerry: Looney Tunes

This is the other one i actually want to see the most just because of the comedic possibilities i wouldn't care what the plot of the movie is just show Tom and Jerry interacting with the Looney Tunes cast some funny ways and i'll be freaking happy.

Star Wars Rebels: Heroes of Mandalore Review

Star wars fans the time is nearly here the end of Star Wars Rebels begins with this two part episode so here is my review of Heroes Of Mandalore.

This two part episode basically has two plots the first plot involves the rebels teaming up with Clan Wren to help save Sabine's family while part two Sabine learns that the Empire is using a weapon she made that can kill Mandalorians. I have to admit the story for part one reminded me alot of early Star Wars Rebels where it was just the crew barely getting out alive and that's what happens in part one and in part two the story reminded me alot of the Supergirl season 1 finale for some reason altho i would have liked it if both parts had one plot instead of two.

The episodes star series cast members Taylor Gray , Vanessa Marshall , Freddie Prinze Jr. and Tiya Sircar and together they are joined by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa , Lars Mikkelsen and returning from The Clone Wars Katee Sackhoff. The series cast as you'd expect by now do a good job voicing there characters but for me personally it's the guest cast that don't do that good a job for some reason the acting from most of the guest cast just felt wooden which is a shame because they are good actors.

Now i wasn't going to mention the animation because i didn't really see the point in talking about the animation on a series that's four years into it's run that was until the end of part 2 where the animation went from being standerd TV animation to being great TV animation i can't really say why because of spoilers but wow did the animation team really go nuts in those final scenes.

The show has always had great looking backdrops but for me the backgrounds at least in part 1 just didn't do anything for me they weren't bad but at the same time they didn't fill me with that sense of wonder or excitement.

I would like to know what budget Kevin Kiner has for this series because the music near the end of the two-parter was really freaking good it blew me away with how good the track was and i prey to god that this level of music stays for the rest of this final season.

Overall since this will be the last season of Star Wars Rebels i hope that they just go nuts and based of this two part premier it looks like that's what they'll be doing and i will not be giving this one a rating.

My Thoughts On #SupergirlBlackout

This is a post that i honestly didn't want to make but since this hashtag thing has made me angry for not one but now two weeks in a row i thought i'd give you my thoughts on #Supergirlblackout.

Now i can guess that right now your thinking "i havn't heard of this hashtag i wonder what it's about" well let me tell you this whole hashtag started because actress Floriana Lima is no longer going to a series regular instead she's going to be a recurring character since the actress wants to pursue other opportunities which is fair enough however that hasn't stopped people from trying to get the actress to come back for more episodes.

I'm a proud Doctor Who fan and as fan of that show i can tell you the change that the people behind this stupid hashtag are going through is understandable that however doesn't make it right because by refusing to watch the show they are in turn hurting the show and increasing it's chances of cancellation which means that Maggie wouldn't be able to come back even if she wanted to.

This is something that's made me angry a few times now just due to the fact that the people who started this hashtag are now proving themselves not to be fans of the show and not only that they are missing some good television now if they want to protest that's fine tweet the creators of the show but do it with at least some knowledge go and actually find out why the person is leaving the actress herself has even said that her contract for the show was just for one season.

Now if you created this hashtag i'm now going to a take some time and talk to you if an actress wants to leave a show to make other things are to pursue other things then that's there choice and by boycotting the show or by telling the creators the only way you'll call this whole thing of is if they bring back said actress then it makes you and your "cause"seem selfish it's ok to love an actress but when you boycott a show there proud of then you don't come off looking good.

I apologize for this rant but it's something that i felt i had to get of my chest and i hope that this post helps change some of your minds anyway be sure to check out Supergirl it's worth it.

Cartoon History: The Flintstones

Cartoon fans The Flintstones has been around since before most of us were even born it's a show that alot of us have grown up and without it a certain other show which i'll get into later wouldn't even exist but no one has really took a look at this series and how it came to be that is until now and if this post is successful i might turn this into a series.

As we all know the show was made by Hanna-Barbera but what you don't know is that the duo started toying with the idea for The Flintstones after production had finished on both The Huckleberry Hound Show and The Quick Draw McGraw Show while those shows were indeed popular with Huckleberry spawning it's own spin-off The Yogi Bear Show the two wanted to creat a show that both kids and adults could watch and what better way to do that then making a situation comedy.

As for the characters they weren't originally the characters we all know and love because Hanna and Babers first toyed with using Hillbillies as the main characters but then for that idea got scrapped the hillbilly theme stuck because in a few episodes of the show there are hillbilly characters. Believe or not hillbillies weren't the only ones considered as they also considered using Romans , Pilgrims and Indians but they eventually chose the stone age because according to Barbera "you could take anything that was current, and convert it to stone-age" but the show would go through many more changes before becoming the hit we all and know lot today.

We all know The Flintstones but it could have been called The Flagstones and instead of Fred , Wilma , Pebbles , Dino , Barney , Betty , Hobby and Bam-Bam we would have gotten Fred, Wilma, and their son, Fred, Jr.as the main family but still would have kept Barney and Betty in the pilot you can see a different design for Betty as well as a different voice actress with her voice being done by June Foray Barney and Fred's voices were done by Daws Butler with only Jean Vander Pyl playing Wilma in both the pilot and the TV show.

In the early seasons of the show the show had animator Kenneth Muse who worked on all the Tom & Jerry shorts and had been with the company since the late 50's i really have no other things to say about him but i thought it was interesting that one of the Tom & Jerry guys worked on this show and i wonder if he was ever proud of his work on the show.

This is something you might already know but according to some the show is inspired by The Honeymooners with Fred being the Jackie Gleason character and Barney being his friend but this something that even the creators of the show can't agree on with Hanna saying "At that time, The Honeymooners was the most popular show on the air, and for my bill, it was the funniest show on the air. The characters, I thought, were terrific. Now, that influenced greatly what we did with The Flintstones ... The Honeymooners was there, and we used that as a kind of basis for the concept." but these comments were disavowed by Barbera who said "I don't remember mentioning The Honeymooners when I sold the show. But if people want to compare The Flintstones to The Honeymooners, then great. It's a total compliment. The Honeymooners was one of the greatest shows ever written.". So it's divisive even for the creators of the show altho i personally think there's a degree of truth to both claims i'll leave the rest up to you all to decide if the show was inspired by The Honeymooners or not.

Stepping back to when it was known as The Flagstones not much else is known about the show but before they decided to drop Fred Jr. they had already changed the name to The Flintstones and there was already some merchandise being made up so you can easily find out what the character would have looked up by going onto google images.

If you think pitching a show is easy it isn't and even now we see The Flintstones as a legendary show back then it was hard to pitch the show to anyone with Joe Barbera flying to New York with two half hour storyboards and he was pitching the show five times a day every day for about a week with no one willing to pick up the show that was until the final day when he pitched the show to ABC and after fifteen minuets bought the show.

Now we all know about The Flagstones but another name was briefly considered The Gladstones i can see why they ditched that name quick it just doesn't roll of the tongue as well as The Flintstones and i doubt The Gladstones could get as many celebrity cameos as The Flintstones could this show became so huge they were beating celebrity's of with a stick as they were all trying to get on the show.

Unlike most shows which take a while to build up an audience when The Flintstones debuted on September 30 1960 it was a hit right away now i don't know what the reviews for the show were but i recon they weren't that good as people wouldn't have known what to think here's an animated show that's made for adults and kids so i can see the reviews at first being bad.

This show when it was first being made was aimed to the more mature audience which was seen in the comedy writing and i think the plots of the show since no kids show would have a plot about avoiding your wife so you can go bowling and what i found interesting is that the show had two writers who wrote for Looney Tunes those being Warren Foster and Michael Maltese.

What helped make the show more unique was the fact that it would often have season long plot lines with the most famous being the conception and birth of Pebbles that is something that hadn't been done in cartoons before and it's something that is kinda being done now with South Park but still The Flintstones was the first one to do it.

Now we all know the classic theme song to The Flintstones but that wasn't used until season 3 episode 3 until then the show used a song called "Rise and Shine" and was an upbeat song even the intro was different the intro for those first two seasons followed Fred on his way home and picking up a dress before heading home to watch TV.

The Flintstones is one of those shows that will always by around there will always be someone watching it for the first time and hopefully they will inspired and go on to create a cartoon like The Flintstones but not everything from The Flintstones especially the two live action movies and the recent WWE direct to DVD movie but one creator who not only created a show like The Flintstones but also surpassed it in terms of how long it's been on the air is Matt Groening who created a little show you might have heard of.

My Thoughts On Wabbit

Cartoon fans i've held of making this post for so long but finally here it is my thoughts on the latest Looney Tunes series Wabbit or as it's also known as Wabbit A Looney Tunes Production.

Now i have something to admit i've watched alot of this series and while it does sometimes get the humor right it gets alot of things wrong with the first of those things being the fact that it introduces a new character called Squeaks the Squirrel who adds nothing to the Looney Tunes cast he isn't even Looney he's just there and that's really it.

Some of the jokes i admit can be kinda funny but alot of the times there's no joke but the characters are acting like something funny happened and that just seems lazy to me it's almost as if the animators knew the jokes weren't funny so they had the characters act like a joke had been told in the vain hope that little kids wouldn't notice.

This is something that i only noticed while watching the season 2 premier for some unknown reason the show is now being called New Looney Tunes why not just stick with the name Wabbit just calling it New Looney Tunes doesn't sound like a show name it sounds like something you'd see in a trailer or poster for the actual show it's a minor issue but it's one that i felt needed to be brought up.

This next issue isn't minor at all it's really freaking major and that's the fact that they destroy the character of Bugs Bunny in most of the episodes now to be fair in the first episode he's still the character we all know and love but as the series goes on he gets dumber and dumber it's almost at the point where he's a completely different in one episode he mimics an oil digger and that's the joke.

Now i'll admit that the designs for the characters are pretty good i like how they made Bugs look and i like the look of Daffy but the one character who i think got the best design is Porky and it comes down to the fact that whoever did the design for him knows there Looney Tunes history since he looks like how he did when he first appeared in the mid 1930's so that's one thing the show got spot on.

The other thing i think the show got right was the animation yes there are times when the animation isn't that good but there's also times where the animation looks passable which by this show's standards means it's fantastic.

Now any Looney Tunes fan will tell that there are really only two sides to Daffy and depending and who he's with you'll get a different side so if he's teamed with Porky you'll get the more Looney side but when he's teamed with Bugs you'll see a more cynical side to him this show from what i've seen keeps the Looney side present regardless of who he's with and for Daffy that doesn't work at all Daffy works best when you use both sides of his personality.

I know alot of Looney Tunes fans hate The Looney Tunes Show but i like it because it did something different while keeping the characters true to who they are this just feels cheap at best.

Victoria "The King Over The Water" Review

Hello there Victoria fans i do apologize for not giving you a review last week only for these past few weeks i've not been feeling to good but i will not leave you hanging this week so here is my review of Victoria Series 2 Episode 7 "The King Over The Water".

The plot of this weeks episode finds the Queen and the Prince up in Scotland. That's really all there is in terms of plot for this weeks episode since if i mention anything it would give away what happens to them and since there is very little plot i won't mention what i thought of the story.

Of course we have Jenna and Tom in this episode and once again they kill it since most of there scenes in this weeks episode is just with the two of them you get to see how they are as husband and wife and guest starring in this episode is Denis Lawson aka Wedge from the Star Wars movies and he's pretty good in this episode but for me the other guest star is something i'll get into later.

Now i mentioned another guest star well for me it's Scotland itself it's so beautiful and filmed so well to me it gets treated like another character on the show and this time i know for a fact they filmed up in Scotland so it was nice to see them go up the the north i only wonder if they went to the Scottish highlands or not.

This episode does something that i don't think has been done in British drama before since it's so good i cannot post the picture of it nor can i mention who it involves since it would be a give away but i will say that if those characters got caught by the police they could have been in deep trouble and i'm glad that laws like that don't exist today.

Now it's not that often that i comment on the music for this show because it's always been top notch stuff but in this episode the music was beyond the usual music heard in this series and i loved it and i loved the fact that they used Scottish instruments and the tracks that had singing in them were beautiful to listen to.

Overall this was a fantastic episode with it's only issue being the weak plot for me this episode is a 9 out of 10.

The Gifted Pilot Review

Well then  Marvel fans it's been a few days since Inhumans started and now Fox is showing us what they can do with the Marvel name so here is my review of the pilot episode of The Gifted.

The plot for the episode is The Strucker family find out there kids are mutants and go on the run. That's really it in terms of plot since it's a pilot episode i wasn't expecting the whole story to be present in this episode but for me the set up worked in this episode and it helped set it apart from a certain Marvel show which has also just started.

The pilot stars Stephen Moyer , Amy Acker , Sean Teale , Natalie Alyn Lind , Percy Hynes White , Jamie Chung , Blair Redford , Emma Dumont and Toks Olagundoye aka the new Mrs. Beakley. Right of the bat i can say that the acting in this pilot is so much better then in that other Marvel show which just started and i think that's down to two things number one is the director for this episode is Bryan Singer a feature film director so he'll know how to get the best from the actors and the other being the script from Matt Nix. I will have to say that out of all the actors in this pilot the two actors i enjoyed the most was Percy and Natalie and it's not because Natalie looks like Chloe Grace Moretz i really believed them as brother and sister.

I have to say then even tho is has the Marvel name and is set in the world of the X-Men films this isn't a superhero show at least not in the way a typical superhero show would be this is more of a family drama and to be frank i liked that aspect of it alot it's refreshing not to have an action sequence every few minuets.

Unlike THAT other Marvel show the effects in this show are really good there not feature film worthy by any means but for a TV show on a mainstream network like Fox they were really good the effects on Blink's power for example is full of vibrant colors that really pop and i hope that this level of quality stays with the series.

Overall i'd say that this is a show that's worth checking out and it's easily better then Inhumans and i have no clue why people aren't talking about this show and like the rest of my pilot reviews there will not a rating since it's the start of the story but there might be another review near the end of the first series.
