Wednesday Series Two Part One SPOILER FILLED Review

After quite literally years of waiting the little show that took both Netflix and the world by storm a few years ago is now back with it's long awaited second season. As I was such a huge fan of the first season of the show and love The Addams Family to death you all just knew that I had to check out these first four episodes of the show and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the first of half of the second season of the show that aired on the right day of the week with the show in question being called simply just "Wednesday" enjoy.

The plot for these first four episodes is when Wednesday returns to Nevermore Academy she finds herself very popular and now has to deal with with a stalker all the main while trying to solve another murder case one which is linked to the school itself. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad as the plot it self was something that was handled really well for the most part as for alot of these first four episodes it does feel like that there's alot more plots going on which does make the seasons main plot far feel unfocused as the shows is juggling several different plots two more of which do feature members of The Addams Family with so far one of them not really being that well received with that being the plot that Pugsley has in these episodes which to be fair isn't the best of plots but at the same time it was never going to be as it was always going to be the more lighthearted comic relief subplot for the season and that's really it but in saying that it does eat up screen time that could have been taken up with making the seasons plot of Wednesday trying to solve this murder feel alot more stronger then what it actually is but that is something that could get fixed when the shows drops it's final four episodes for this season in a months time with the plot of these episodes really being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Also starring in these episodes is Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair , Hunter Doohan as Tyler Galpin , Joy Sunday as Bianca Barclay , Moosa Mostafa as Eugene Ottinger , Georgie Farmer as Ajax Petropolus , Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams , Owen Painter as Slurp , Billie Piper as Isadora Capri , Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo as Ritchie Santiago , Victor Dorobantu as Thing , Noah Taylor as Bruno Yuson , Evie Templeton as Agnes DeMille , Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams , Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams , Haley Joel Osment as Chet LaTroy , Joonas Suotamo as Lurch , Jamie McShane as Donovan Galpin , Christopher Lloyd as Professor Orloff , Heather Matarazzo as Judi , Thandiwe Newton as Rachael Fairburn , Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester and Dame Joanna Lumley as Grandmama.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honey really good. Which is something that's to be expected from this show as alot of this shows actors are a bunch of really good actors in their own with even pretty much the entire first season having some really good acting in it and therefor it would make alot of sense for this season to so far carry on that trend only now the acting does seem to be alot more better as the actors that are returning from the first season will of course be alot more comfortable with there characters and would of course know there characters a little bit more better and what kind of performance would best suit there respective characters as well with even the shows new actors like for example Steve Buscemi and Dame Joanna Lumley not only holding their own when it comes to acting with some of the actors from the previous season but also turning some really good performances in their own right with of course the best actor in these first four episodes being Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams as she is just such a joy to watch not only in these first four episodes but in the show as a whole with it being very crystal clear that she's having a blast playing this character and that is something that you can see in all the frames that she's in in these first four episodes with the acting that's in these very episodes really being helped by the fact that all of the scripts for these very episodes are just so good that all these episodes actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in these first four episodes.

Doing he CGI for these episodes is Alter Ego , CoSA VFX , Folks VFX , Herne Hill Media , Incessant Rain Studios , Monsters Aliens Robots Zombies , PowerHouse VFX , Rocket Science VFX , Scanline VFX , Take 5 VFX , VFX Legion and WeFX. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad as there are some pretty good CGI effects to be found in these first four episodes but at the same time tho you can still tell that this show has a TV effects budget as there are some effects like on the ravens for example that do look a little bit two fake almost as if they were added in at the last possible minuet but in saying that tho a character like Thing who at times is a fully CGI effect does look really good with there beings tons of character added to him that helps to make him more of a fully formed character and without giving anything away the one effect that alot of people could all agree upon was really bad in the first season returns in this season and it's aged well with it looking even more like a cartoon character then what it was in the previous season with it making you wonder why the makers of this show didn't take the time that they already had due to the three year gap between seasons to improve upon that effect and make it look like that it was actually there on the day instead of choosing to make it look like something that looks like that it would be more at home a kids cartoon halloween special.

One of the biggest issues that the first season faced was not having alot of the other members of The Addams Family in it for longer periods of time. This is something that is thankfully fixed in episode one of these episodes as Morticia takes up post at the school at the behest of the schools new Principal with her being in charge of getting funds for the school with Gomez staying because he doesn't want to leave her side and even Pugsley stays around this season enrolling as a new student with both Morticia and Gomez even having Lurch with them as well this right there is a huge step up from what they did in the previous season where they only had the main family members show up for an episode or two and that's really it and yet now that there here we the audience get to the chance to see alot more of the family dynamic with the only two family members to get a real plot together this season being Morticia and Wednesday as they are trying to learn to come together as one and not to be fighting all of the time however there not the only members of the family that show up in these episodes as we also get Uncle Fester and Grandmama showing up in the shows fourth episode with it being reveled throughout these first four episodes that both Morticia and Grandmama shared a very similar relationship to what she and Wednesday currently have all due to the fact that Grandmama possibly had Moritica's sister Ophelia Addams sent to the same hospital that Wednesday is currently investigating and heck it could even be argues that family is a key theme this season as even Bianca Barclay has somewhat of a subplot involving her mother in these first four episodes as well and while none of the plots do get resolved by the end of episode four it is something that does make wonder just how they can resolve these plots in ways that not only feel true to the characters and the show but also be satisfactory to those who are watching the show as well.

With this season of the show being split up into two parts that does mean that episode four has to end on a cliffhanger and well the cliffhanger is a good one. As it ends with the possibility of Wednesday being dead after being thrown out the top floor of the hospital window by Tyler Galpin in his Hyde form this is after another character from the previous season in this case a returning Christina Ricci as Marilyn Thornhill / Laurel Gates who does try to convince him that she's still on his side but he this time just doesn't believe and uses his claws to kill her with the first four episodes making some great use of the hospital set in all of the episodes in which is appears with it even taking centre stage in the shows fourth episode but at the same time these four episodes do lean alot more on the horror aspect of the show then it does the comedy aspect of it so much so that you might be forgiven for forgetting that this is a horror comedy and therefor things should be more balanced like they were in the first season which yes did have it's fair share of horror moments in it as well but it also knew when to stop being a straight up horror show and be a comedy where as with these first four episodes it does feel like there skewing a little bit two much into being a straight up horror show when that's something that The Addams Family should never be as they should always be the kind of horror comedy that you could perhaps show to little kids and while this show has always been mature in it's story telling and presentation it still does feel weird when they openly show a character bleeding due to being stabbed which would work if this was a straight up horror show but given that these four episodes did go out their way to show off more horror then they did comedy it is something that makes you wonder if the rest of this season and even the upcoming third season will lean more into the horror aspect of the show which if so then you might as well just drop the comedy aspect all together as it won't a horror comedy at that point as it would be a straight up horror show.

If you loved Enid last season then odds are your not going to like these first four episodes all that much as she and Wednesday don't spend alot of time together which is something that they do have an in story reason for. As when Wednesday has a really intense psychic vision on the first day of school she sees Enid grave with Enid herself straight up telling her that she killed her and that's all Wednesdays fault with being what kicks of the storyline for this season as Wednesday has to try and figure how Enid's upcoming death is connected to all of these murders which have been going on and are connected to the school in some way however in doing so she doesn't spend alot of time with Enid which is due to her wanting to project her but at the same time all this does is drive the two of them closer as Enid starts to feel left out when Wednesday starts hanging out with a new character called Agnes DeMille who is a superfan of Wednesdays and has the power of invisibility which is something that makes you wonder if Wednesdays vision is more of a self fulfilling prophecy like by trying to avoid causing any harm to Enid she ends up causing the very thing that she didn't want to happen as it's clear as day that they both think of the world of each with Enid even saying that Wednesday is the tunnel to her light with both characters even needing the other as Wednesday needs Enid to keep her grounded and to stop her from getting in her own way and Enid needs to Wednesday as to show her that it's OK to bend the rules and have some fun a little bit of the time as well but in saying that tho if the makers of this show were to have Enid be killed off at the end of the season it would provide an interesting thing for when we get to the third season of Wednesday.

Now then each of episode of this batch of episodes has / had an exact grand total running tome of exactly no longer then one hour and two minuets. With all four of these episodes being around about one hour each which is something that's perfect for these episodes as it's perfectly inline with the first season as alot of those episodes had a very similar running time as well with these first four episodes even having the right amount of plot there to really cover there respective running times but in saying that tho these four episodes really doesn't use there running times all that wisely as the man plot for this season thus far isn't that well developed but that is something that could be fixed by the time that the season has finished airing tho but you always want to lead with your best foot forward and so far these episodes aren't doing a good job of developing the main plot as all of the seasons other plots are all fighting for screen time when it would have made more sense to cut down on the number of plots and not give every single a character this season a storyline even more so if it cuts into the running time that could have been sent in developing the main plot of this season with this slightly effecting the shows characters as while the returning characters do of course come of slightly better in this regards due to the first season it's the shows newer characters that do somewhat suffer from a lack of development as while Principal Barry Dort doesn't really get that much development in these four episodes that's more due to the fact that he's being used as a red herring as the show does put alot of focus on him being the big bad for this season with really the only character that does suffer from a lack of development being Agnes DeMille who goes from being this creepy stalker character to being someone who is just obsessed with Wednesday and willing to help her out with there being no rhyme or reason for the sudden character change but I really will admit that these episodes really does have some really good pacing in them tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in these first four episodes and well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very first four episodes was in all honesty not that bad. As while there aren't that many laugh out moments like there was in the first season that's more due to thew fact that the makers of this show are putting more of an effort on into the shows horror aspect then it is in creating some actually funny jokes but to be fair to these first fur episodes they do still keep all of Wednesdays killer one liners all of which are really funny jokes and do feel perfectly in line with her character with the best joke in the whole entire first half of the season being when Fester is in the hotel before getting himself committed to the mental hospital when the police burst in on him he's there in the bath just singing along to self and he just turns to the where the policemen are and he just smiles which yes granted is a really stupid joke but at the same time tho it's something that does feel completely in line with this character as is the fact that in episode one Pugsley uses his new lightening powers to take out a stop sign which in turn causes a huge accident all of which the Addams's fail to notice behind them with those two jokes proving that the makers of this show do still know how to tell a good joke that's in the spirit of The Addams Family which dies make you wonder they chose to focus more on horror when alot of the jokes that there telling in these first four episodes whilst they aren't as good as the ones in the first season they all still work really well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while these first four episodes could have been alot more better it's still great to be back in these world with these characters and the fact that the show has already been confirmed for a third season does say that the show does have legs with these first batch of episodes more then proving that fact in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all o the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in these very episodes that are in this very review and as such that really does mean that these very episodes really does earn themselves a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Wacky Races: See-Saw To Arkansas Review

There are some TV shows that will only be remembered by a select group of people due to the fact that the show in question didn't last that very long in the first place and even those that remember the show won't remember that much about it. Such is the case with the show that i'm going to be talking you all about today as this is a show that only last one season and yet out of that one season the show managed to spawn two spin off shows , a comic book series and a remake as well as having it's central villain be the main villain for several Yogi Bear shows as well and so then join me as I review the episode that introduces us to the worlds wackiest racers with the episode in question being called simply just "See-Saw To Arkansas" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is the racers have to race through Arkansas and reach the finish line in order to end the race. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as this is show that really doesn't require a deep plot in order to make it work it just requires the very bare minimum and that's it and to this episodes credit that's exactly what we got in this episode as due to the lack of a plot it does allow for the shows characters to be their charming selves and not be bogged down by telling a deep and thought provoking plot and while yes granted it would have been nice if this episode did have a plot as then it could have made the episode alot more better then what it already is not all shows need to have a deep and thought provoking plot in their episodes to make them work as sometimes just being a simple plot is more then enough as is the case with this episode as this show isn't one that really requires one as we the audience see join the race when it's progress and therefor we don't need to find out why these characters are racing we just need to know there names and that's it as the fun of the episode comes not from it's plot it comes from the characters just doing whatever they can to get ahead in the race with that being something that would be lost if this episode did have a deep thought provoking plot to it with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Yogi Bear star Daws Butler as Red Max , Peter Perfect , Rufus Roughcut and Sgt. Blast and Scooby-Doo star Don Messick as Muttley , Professor Pat Pending and Ring-A-Ding. Also starring in this episode is The Flintstones star John Stephenson as Luke and Blubber Bear , Janet Waldo as Penelope Pitstop , Dave Willock as The Narrator and Paul Winchell as Dick Dastardly and Clyde.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As alot of this shows actors do put in some really decent performances in this episode something that really couldn't have been all that easy to do due to the episodic nature of the show which is something that would have made the acting in this episode all the more harder and yet because of that it's even more impressive that this shows actors pulled off these characters really well as they make the characters that your meant to be liking even more likable and the characters that your meant to hate even more hateable because of it with the true standout actor in this episode being none other then Paul Winchell as Dick Dastardly and Clyde as he has to go from being kind of in the middle of being likable and hateable with Clyde to being the full on bad guy with Dick Dastardly in the same scene and it's something that really does work in this episode as you can tell clear as day that Paul Winchell is having the best of times playing both of these characters and that is something that really does shine through in the final cut of the episode with the acting that's in this very episode no really being helped by this episodes script as this episodes script doesn't really give the actors a whole lot to work with interms of what it is that there actual characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does harm the over all quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Hanna-Barbera Productions. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about h actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good as while granted the episode does have that typical Hanna-Barbera cheapness to it with there being alot of repeating backgrounds and even the backgrounds themselves not being as highly detailed as the backgrounds in say Tom & Jerry for example that doesn't change the fact that this episodes animation was a lot better then what it really had any right to be as all of the character designs for the show look really good with the characters some truly iconic designs and even the cars that there driving looking really and fun and creative with the thing that does let the animation in this episode down is the lack of details in the backgrounds as that does mean that all of the episodes backgrounds do start to merge into one thus making it alot more harder for us the audience to work where each character is in relation to the other where as if the backgrounds were a little bit more detailed then that would go along way into fixing this issues not helping things out tho is the fact that the characters movements do feel very stilted which in fairness to this episode is something that was also a problem for alot of Hanna-Barbera shows as well and while it doesn't take away from the quality of the episode it is something that does take away from the quality of the animation and while it is understandable why this episodes animation look cheap alot of the time as this show was produced on a TV show budget the makers of this episode should have done something to make the animation in this episode well and truly standout a little bit more.

One of the highlights of not only this show but this episode is seeing what kind schemes that Dick Dastardly would come up with to win the race. With his schemes in this episode being not that bad as he hides a sign to make it impossible for the racers to tell which way to get of the freeway and other such things and while they do all rightfully end with him getting run over and in case blown up it is something that does show that being evil doesn't mean you'll win which is a good message to teach the shows target kid audience with it being a message that's backed up by the fact that when Dick Dastardly isn't pulling a scheme on the other racers he's actually a pretty good racer in his own right as here he finishes fourth in the race and yet every single time he does try to pull a trick on them he always ends up getting hurt and while his schemes in other episodes would get more and more outlandish as the series would progress here they do feel a lot more tame by comparison and heck it's even Dick Dastardly himself that gets alot of the episodes screen time which is fair enough as he's the series main villain but when you take into account the show is basically an ensemble show thus meaning that it has no main character it does feel odd that he would get treated like the main character of the show just due to the fact that he gets alot more screen time then all of the other racers and while he does pull lots of schemes on the other racers it's The Ant Hill Mob that pull one off him thus giving him a good taste of his own medicine which was a fun thing to see as you don't often get to see one set of characters who it could be argued are villains openly take out someone who is the shows main villain and yet still be treated as being one of the good guys in not only this show but also in The Perils Of Penelope Pitstop as well.

It's not that hard to see why this show has mostly been forgotten about by alot of people as even from this episode you can tell right away that it was never designed to last more then one series. As it would be a show that would get really repetitive pretty quickly and therefor it was kind of doomed to only last a certain amount of episodes but due to the popularity of characters like Dick Dastardly and even Penelope Pitstop both of whom not got there own respective spin off shows but also appeared in the dreadful 2017 remake as it's the characters that really do carry the show and help to make it all the memorable as for a show called Wacky Races you'd expect all of the races to have something about them that makes them wacky and crazy but rather then the races that are wacky it's the racers the actual characters of the show that have something wacky about them and that is something that does help to make this show alot more memorable then what it actually is and it's a shame that when kids today think of the name Wacky Races the first thing that comes to their minds won't be this show as they didn't grow up with it it will be the 2017 show which yes had the more actually wacky races but it lacks the charm and character that we see in this episode as for all of it's faults one of the many things that this episode and this show has going for it is it's char as it's a very charming show that you can put on and watch and be just as entertained by it today as you were when you were kid watching this same episode for the first time and that is something that alot of kids shows today are missing and makes no sense as not all shows need plots and characters as sometimes just being charming is more then enough to make for a good show.

This show and this episode is the very definition of a nothing episode as there isn't alot of plot to speak of. The characters whilst they are charming aren't given alot of personality and the races just aren't as wacky as the tile of the show would have you think which is something that does make it hard to talk about the show and judge it fairly as all of the above things that were just mentioned could be seen as being part of the point of the show as we are only seeing the race from after it's started so we don't get to see any interaction with the racers either before or after the race and so why would they stop and talk to each other when there being alot more focused on trying to win the actual race and while we do get to see alot of the racers win each race the show becomes more fun in not only trying to work out who's going to win but how there going to do it as well as even tho we all know that Dick Dastardly is never going to win any of the races it's still fun seeing him try and stop the other racers so that he himself can win and while this show and this episode might be a nothing show and and a nothing episode there's another word to describe this episode and that's fun as that's exactly what this episode is it's fun but in a child like and silly kind of way and while granted that might put people off the show and off the episode as well there's nothing wrong with being silly and childish as it reminds us of a more simpler time with that being exactly what happens when you watch this episode as it really reminds you of what you were like when you where a kid and had those care free days that we all now really long for and while yes this show will never be that well remembered it will always be a show that is alot of fun to watch with this episode being a prime of example of just how much fun can be had when your watching this episode.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twelve minuets and five seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running time for all of the episodes of this show as all of the segments of this show was paired with another segment to form one twenty two minuet episode which when the episodes are this repetitive can be seen as being hard to get through especially when you take into account that all of the episodes this one included really don't have alot of plot there to really cover that amount of running time with this episode not even using it's running time wisely as the main plot of the show can't be that well developed due to the sheer nature of the show with us the audience basically starting the episodes whilst the racers are already racing which does mean that the plot of any of this shows episodes can't be that well developed with this being even more evident when you take into account that this episode basically doesn't have that much of a plot to begin with with the lack of development even effecting the shows characters as well which is pretty standard stuff from when this episode was first being broadcast all the way in 1968 as alot of the animated shows back then just had very basic characters and had a clear cut good guy and a clear cut bad guy both of which are present in this episode but it is something that would have helped the characters in this episode stand out all the more if the characters were a bit more well defined since as things stand they do some across as being like one dimensional characters which again might be the point of the episode but it is something that is a knock on this episode as well but I really will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho. 

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As alot of this shows jokes whist granted they aren't laugh out loud funny there more cute funny which is something that's perfect for this show as this is a show that doesn't really rely on having the more traditional jokes but that's not to say that this episode doesn't have those kinds of jokes in it as it does with an example of this being the scheme that The Ant Hill Mob pull of Dick Dastardly by telling him that get to back to the main road he just has to take a sharp left at the next turn which results in him drowning in mud which is a simple joke but it's one that works really well however that's not that best joke in the whole episode as that honor goes to when the first four racers are near the finishing line The Narrator happens to mention that could be a photo finish which Dick Dastardly himself over hears and so just before he crosses the line he gets out of the car and posses for his picture thus letting all of the other racers past him in the process which is a good joke as it feels like something that that character would do as he does have a bit of an ego and so he would of course stop and strike a pose thinking that someone was going to take his picture with alot of this episodes jokes whilst they are some really good jokes they aren't as good as that one joke is in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall as was mentioned it's not that hard to see why this show has largely been forgotten about as this episode doesn't really have all that much going for it that does make it memorable but in saying that tho this is an episode that is really fun to watch as you never really know just what's going to be happening next which is something that does make a really fun episode to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the god and as well as all of the bad things that are in this vey episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Power Rangers In Space "Shell Shocked" Review

The turtles and crossovers are two things that go hand in hand with each other as the TMNT have done quite a few crossovers in the past. However none of those crossovers are as weird as the one that i'm going to be talking today as this crossover straight up confirms that the Next Mutation turtles exist in the same world as both Power Rangers and oddly enough Masked Rider as well and so then join me as I review that sees the turtles head into outer space with the episode in question being called simply just "Shell Shocked" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when the rangers recent arch nemesis Astronema kidnaps the turtles and puts them under a spell so that she is in control of them it's up to the rangers to stop there new friends and restore there spaceship before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as the plot of the episode did allow for some fun interactions between the rangers and the turtles but at the same time tho it was weird seeing the turtles mostly act as the antagonists for the episode when the shows target audience would have been more used to seeing them as heroes and while the episode does provide an in-story explanation as to why there acting this way it still weird to see them acting as villains in this episode with this episodes feeling a little bit on the weak side with this being because of the fact that even tho the turtles themselves were set up at the end of previous episode nothing plot wise was set up then with this episodes plot feeling like it would have been done better if it was a two part plot as then the plot of the episode would have alot more time to breathe and we the audience would have alot more time to take in the fact that we're seeing the Power Rangers crossover with the Ninja Turtles with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. 

Starring in this episode is Christopher Khayman Lee as Andros , Roger Velasco as Carlos Vallerte and Selwyn Ward as T.J. Johnson. Also starring in this episode is Tracy Lynn Cruz as Ashley Hammond , Patricia Ja Lee as Cassie Chan , Wendee Lee as the voice of Alpha 6 , Julie Maddalena as the voice of D.E.C.A. , Christopher Cho as the voice of Dark Specter , Melody Perkins as Astronema , Derek Stephen Prince as the voice of Elgar and as the voice of Raphael , Blake Torney as the voice of Electrotramp , Michael Reisz as the voice of Leonardo , Ezra Weisz as the voice of Donatello , Tony Oliver as the voice of Michelangelo and Tifanie Christun as the voice of Venus De Milo.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As by Power Rangers standards this episodes acting wasn't half bad but at the same time this is still Powers Rangers a show that really isn't all that well known for it's good acting and while that isn't something that shines through all that much in this episode it is noticeable when it comes to certain characters tho as the actors for Leo and Michelangelo for example just aren't that great with them sounding like there trying to an impressions of how they think that that turtle sounds with the actors for the rest of the turtles being passable at best with the best actor in this episode being Melody Perkins as Astronema as it comes across as her being the only one that knows that she's in a bad and goofy episode of the show and is therefor just having alot of fun just hamming it up and eating all of the scenery and while the actors playing the rangers are good that is something that's to be expected as four of the five of them have been playing their roles for at least a year now and it would therefor make sense for there acting to be as good as it is as they would have had the chance to really get to know there characters and know what kind of performance that there character would give in any given situation with the acting that's in this episode not really being helped by the fact that this episodes script is just so bad as it doesn't give any of this episodes actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does hurt the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

What alot of people might not know or even realise for that matter is the fact that this episode is technically the second episode of a two part episode. As the previous episode called "Save Our Ship" does end with Astronema forcing the turtles out of there sewer lair and that's really it there's really nothing plot wise that connects the two episodes which makes it odd that the makers of this show would have the turtles appear at the end of the previous episode as their scene in that episode basically amounts to a cameo appearance and nothing more then that with them of course taking on a much more bigger role in this episode which even then given the fact that this episodes plot is wafer thin at best it would have made more sense if this plot was the plot to a two part episode however instead of having the plot be contained to the one show why not take full advantage of the crossover aspect of it all and have it take place over both Power Rangers In Space and Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation with part one happening on Power Rangers In Space and part two taking place on The Next Mutation this is something that would have made alot of sense to do as Power Rangers was the bigger show at the time and having this episode be the lead in episode to Next Mutation would then be a great way to boost the ratings of that show and plus it would mean that we would get to see the Rangers interact with someone like Splinter for example something that we don't get to see in this episode and while it is understandable why the makers of this show didn't take that approach as the two shows are filmed in different countries despite having the exact same producer.

To be fair to this episode the turtles in this episode are written pretty true to how they are in Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation. Which is also the problem as next to nobody likes how the turtles are written in that show as there written to all be the dumb one of the group which is how they are written here also we do get to splashes of Donny being the brains out of the group which was something that was nice to see as it's something that there own show very rarely did with all of the turtles basically being like Mikey in that they would tell bad jokes and make pizza references to the point where it comes across as the makers of that show had forgotten just what the personalities of the turtles are even meant to be in the first place where as here you can tell that there was some effort to write them how we the audience know them to be but because of the fact that there beholden to how they portrayed in there own show the makers of this episode can't fix any of the problems with the turtles as it would then cause a huge disconnect between both shows and while it is great seeing the turtles team up with the Power Rangers there should have been more of an effort on the part of the Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation writers to at least get some of the way when it comes to writing the turtles as then that would mean that the makers of this episode won't have to do alot of the leg work which would all be for nothing as all of that would be forgotten about by the very next episode of the turtles own show as it makes the writing n The Next Mutation seem even more worse when you take into account just how well alot of the turtles are written in this episode and while alot of the turtles don't have that much to do as both Raphael and Venus don't really do all that much in the episode that's more due to the fact that crossover was just one singular episode and is not a knock n the writing of the turtles themselves.

This is also an issue with the Power Rangers side of things as well as the character of Carlos has next to nothing to do in the actual episode. Outside of taking part in a few action scenes and a scene at the start of the episode and that's really it which again makes you wonder why the makers of the episode didn't bother to make this an actual two part crossover even episode as then alot of the characters could have alot of things to say and do in the episode and not just basically be there as background characters with the only reason that Carlos as a character was included in this episode was more then likely just due to the fact that his Ranger was more then likely included in the Sentai footage from this episode and that's really it as you could have removed his character from the episode entirely and you'd miss nothing important to the episodes plot and while the episode could have cut his character out of the episode it does also speak a larger issue with the episode and that's the fact that two many characters that are important to both shows have nothing to do in the episode as while you can't really cut Raph out of the episode as she and along with Mikey , Leo and Donny do make the team that alot of people are familiar with you very easily could have cut out Venus as not only did alot of people hate her character back then and they still do to this very day but also alot of the shows kid audience wouldn't be all that familiar with her character due to the fact that she was only in this one Ninja Turtles show that alot of people just didn't bother to watch in the first place and so the episode could have done with cutting her out and keeping just the core four turtles and heck you could even have had a subplot with Raph and Carlos going on as that would at least then give both of those characters something to do in the actual episode itself.

Astronema in this episode really wasn't the best villain as she no clue with what to do with the turtles once there under her control. With the idea of them stealing the Megaship and having it brought to her being something that's discussed off screen which is something that does make it seem like the makers of this episode were struggling to find a justifiable reason to have the turtles and the rangers fighting each other as Astronema herself could have done itself by distracting the rangers with one of her monsters and it's not even said why the Megaship is this big victory prize for her as while yes it houses the Rangers Zords that's really it and even then the Rangers have allies on earth that they very easily could call upon and use there Zords if need be but for whatever reason the episode has the Megaship be the ultimate prize for her and while she does do the smart thing and have four of the five rangers that they capture be tied up so they can't fight back she still does next to nothing to make sure that Andros is captured altho given what we find out later about her character in this season that might be because of the fact that she's subconsciously knows that how she's acting right now isn't good and to her credit she does order Leonardo and the turtles to go and look for him which for some odd reason they don't do which makes the turtles look like really bad villains and again to her credit Astronema is more then willing to get her hands dirty as she does take part in the early part of the episodes final fight which does make her look a villain that really has taken a huge leap of the deep end and she does come across as being a villain that knows exactly what she wants and how to get as she did think ahead at the start of the episode by using mind controlling other good guys and then have them help the rangers out to gain there trust which was a really smart move on her behalf.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty one minuets and twenty seconds. Which to be fair to this episode is more in line with the running times for the rest of this show and in saying that this episode really does have the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time but at the same time tho this episode really doesn't use it's running time all that wisely as it's plot isn't that well developed with it being quite hard to tell just what it is that the main plot of the episode is even meant to be alot of the time as for a large portion of the episode it does seem like the characters are just doing these completely random things for no rhyme or reason which is something that does make it hard to buy into this episode with this being something that could hve been fixed if this was a two part episode as then the plot of the episode could become alot more stronger then what it already is as now the plot would have those extra twenty two minuets that it really does need to fully flesh out with the lack of development even effecting the episodes characters as while the series regular characters do come of fairly better in this regard that's more due to the fact that this show has had more time to develop them as characters and even the characters that get introduced in this season do come as being a little better as well rather it's the turtles themselves that don't get alot of development as they remain in the exact place as characters at the end of the episode then they do at the start of the episode when something as big as them going into outer space really should have given the characters some much needed character development that could then possibly be carried over into their own show as well but I really will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now the as this is an action show that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With this episode having some really fun action scenes with the rangers both fighting against and then fighting with the turtles which does lead to some fun team ups with various rangers teaming up with various turtles which does lead to a pretty fun third act act with that third act fight scene being the best action scene in the whole episode as it will always be fun seeing all of the rangers teaming up with all five of the turtles with the fact that we get see some really fun team ups which is something that does make that action all the more fun then what it already is with it being clear as day the makers of this episode had alot of fun in coming up with the action in the third act as they weren't beholden to what was created in Japan due to the fact that they had four other hero characters to fit in and because of that we did get a really fun action scene out of it and while yes granted the editing to that action scene does let it down a bit as it does quite hard to tell which turtle is who and what is actually going on at the end of it it still does change the fact that it will always be fun seeing the turtle and the rangers teaming up with each other in one big action packed fight scene with even the unmorphed fight with the turtles taking on the rangers being just as good as the third act fight was in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this season of Power Rangers might be considered one of the more better seasons of the show this episode is quite clearly one of the more average episodes of the show but to be fair that does make it one of the more better episodes of Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in his very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.

Eyes Of Wakanda TV Series SPOILER FILLED Review

It's not that often that we get a new animated show from Marvel Studios as they mainly do live action shows with the odd animated show sprinkled in the mixture every so often. Well now the house of ideas have released there newest animated show and instead of doing what they normally do with their shows and dropping one a week they've decided to drop the entire show and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the show that both Marvel themselves and Disney didn't promote until just a few days before it's premiere date with the show in question being called simply just "Eyes Of Wakanda" enjoy.

The plot of this show is The Hatut Zaraze who are Wakandan warriors carry out deadly missions to retrieve some of Wakanda's missing artifacts when someone calling himself The Lion steals a bunch of them. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. As even tho this show is an anthology show with each episode having a different plot to the one that came before it it is still a decently well done plot that does feel fitting for a TV show but at the same time tho this is a plot that also could have been alot more better then what it already was as it does start to get a boring to watch near the end shows shockingly short four episodes as the show doesn't really do anything to add to the overall plot of the show instead just keeping things pretty self contained and while that is something that does work well enough given the shows anthology format it is something that does make the show pretty boring to watch as well as you know right where all of the episodes are going which does make them feel alot less fun to watch an while having a show centered around these group of warriors that are so secret that barely anyone in Wakanda knows about them is a good idea there still needed to be a good enough plot to fully justify them being in this show as given the shows plot they could have focused on any character in Wakanda and it would have made just as much sense in this first place with the plot of this show not really being really rather entertaining and nor is it really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Also starring in this show is Larry Herron as B'Kai / Memnon , Adam Gold as Achilles , Lynn Whitfield as Older Noni , Jason Konopisos as Ferro , Kiff VandenHeuvel as Odysseus , Yerman Gur as Paris , Joanna Kalafatis as Helen Of Troy , Jacques Colimon as Basha , Jona Xiao as Jorani , Isaac Robinson-Smith as Ebo , Gary Anthony Williams as Rakim , Zeke Alton as Tafari , Steve Toussaint as Kuda , Debra Wilson as A Dora Milaje General and Disney legend Anika Noni Rose as Black Panther.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. With all of this shows actors turning in some passable performances which is something that's to be expected as alot of this shows actors aren't that well known for their voice acting skills apart from Anika Noni Rose and that's really it and as such it would have been foolish to expect good or even great performances from any of this shows actors and yet for the most part that's exactly what we got as alot of this shows actors did turn in some really good performances and while yes there are always going some bad performances in any show or movie this show is a case where the good acting far outweighs the bad acting with alot more of this shows actors turning in some good performances then there are bad ones with really the only bad actors in this show being both Zeke Alton and Winnie Harlow and that's really it and even then the shows bad acting can more be chalked up to the fact that Zeke is just a kid and therefor his acting won't be that good anyway and when it comes to both Winnie and Zeke there both not that well known as actors in the first place and heck Zeke doesn't have a Wikipedia page with the acting that's in this show not really being helped by the shows scripts as this shows scripts are so bad as they give none of this shows absolutely noting to work with interms of what it is that there actual characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does hurt the overall quality of the acting that's in this very show.

Doing the animation for this show is Axis Animation and the legends and the greats that are currently over at Studio AKA. ow then interms of what I personally thought / felt about rh actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad as this show does have some pretty nice looking animation with the main episode making great use of 3D CGI animation to capture some truly beautiful looking shots all of which do make this show feel alot more cinematic then what it actually is with the shows animation to be fair being the best part of the show as while it does keep using the same art style all throughout the show episodes all of them do at least have one standout moment where the animation produces something that can only be described as being like a work of art but in saying that tho this shows animation does also look a little flat alot of the time as well with very very of the shows backgrounds having anything about them that makes them standout even Wakanda itself doesn't look as stunning as it could do in the world of animation as now the only thing that's holding back the makers of this show isn't budget it's there own imagination and yet they somehow make Wakanda look like this visually unappealing place to live when this is the one place that they should really be selling to us the audience given that alot of the shows storylines take place there and while the characters do have some really nice looking fluid movements to them which does help the animation to truly come alive in the shows the shows more quieter moments the designs of the characters just look of putting and not something that you'd want to see in Disney animated TV show.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very much like what they did with the Ironheart TV show Disney and Marvel did next to nothing to promote this show as unlike what they did with Ironheart where the dropped the trailer and posters about a month out from the actual premiere date. Here they did all of that the WEEK that the show was about to start which is the very definition of leaving to the last minuet as this now all but guarantees that the show will be a flop as not only do alot of people not even know about this show in the first place those that had followed the show would have no idea when it was coming out due to the fact that Marvel and Disney have kept quiet about the show for so long now and would most likely have forgotten all about the show even being a thing in the first place say what you will about Ironheart as a TV show but at least you knew that that show was coming out granted they didn't start pushing that show until it was quite late in the day as well but at least then you had the excuse of them putting more of a focus on The fantastic Four: First Steps where as now that's not an excuse and heck Marvel even could have had this show come out on the exact same day as the new Fantastic Four movie just to cash in on the big Marvel push but not they instead chose to wait a a couple a weeks and then drop ONE trailer on the Monday followed by six different posters all on the same days in the hopes of drawing up hype for this show when what they should have done is started promoting this show the second that they were winding down the promotion for Ironheart as at least then it would give this show a fair shot at being a hit show because as things stand it doesn't matter what else is said in this review because this show won't be a hit because of the fact that not alot of people will know about this show being a thing in the first place.

In a first for a Marvel Studios TV show they have chosen to drop all four episodes of this show at the same time. Which to be fair in this case isn't that bad of a thing to do as there's not that much to this show in the first place as the only thing that's even close to being a plot is something that they do in the LAST episode of the show where they reveal that in the entire previous episodes there was this unseen character from the future a Black Panther and future Queen of Wakanda who is using time travel to go back and time to get all of these artifacts to help Wakanda make it self known to the world and in turn stop her world from being taken over by what looks like giant alien ants which isn't that bad of an idea and would have worked for the plot of the whole if it was set up in the first episode and not the last as then you could have had this character essentially act as this shows version of The Watcher from What If where she's there to basically just set up the story and watch it play out only with her interring near it's end to grab whatever artifact that she needs to Wakanda out in her future because as things stand the anthology aspect of the show isn't one that's done all that well as despite the show having a somewhat recurring character in the from of Noni who does get mentioned once or twice and even appears in the shows first two episodes and so the makers of the show could have done something more fun with it's anthology like what Tales Of The Crypt would do were they had this other character introduce the stories whilst making bad jokes that are somehow related to the stories that there telling in that particualr episode but they don't and because of that is the fact that the anthology aspect of the show just feels like an afterthought as if anything this series would have been much more better of if it was a series of short films each one about a different aspect of Wandanan life.

This shows third episode "Lost And Found" does kind of introduce a new hero to the MCU that being Iron Fist with the mantle this time being taken up not by Danny Rand but by Jorani. With her being someone from China many decades before Danny Rand was even born with her character perhaps being in one of the most fun episodes of the show as "Lost And Found" is a really solid episode that isn't afraid to be silly when it needs to be with the character of Jorani being a perfectly serviceable character in her own right as while she doesn't get alot of developed in that episode which is understandable as this show is meant to be all about the rich history of Wakanda she still does come of as being a character with alot of potential as she's someone from China who defeated this supposed immortal dragon and therefor gained it's powers with her also being kind of cocky and kind of arrogant and whereas unlike that episodes main character Basha Jorani actually does have the martial arts skills to back up what she's saying with even both her and Basha making for a great comedic duo as she outright says that she would have been more the willing to help him out if he'd just been honest about what he was doing in China in the first place but due to Wakandan law he really couldn't tell her why he was there which granted might make her look like a weak character but it something that does add some level of humor to the show with another source of humor in that episode coming from Basha himself as at the end of the episode when he and Ebo are almost found out for what's been going on in the episode Basha right away without a moments thought just says that it will Ebo's idea as a training exercise which for some reason the general believes which whilst those jokes aren't laugh out loud funny they do show us the audience just how much fun that a show like this should have been like in the first place.

Now then each episode of this show has / had an exact grand total running of no longer then thirty minutes. Which t be fair is perfectly solid running time for this show as while the show on the whole doesn't have alot going on for it plot wise each of the shows fours episodes really do have more then enough plot there to really cover that amount of running time as while the fourth episode does bring together the previous three plots all of the plots of this show do work well enough on their own and don't really need a long running time in order to do there stories any kind of justice however tho in saying that none of these episodes really do use there running times wisely as all four of the plots aren't that well developed with the fourth episode "The Last Panther" being the worst for this as it just seems like all of the plot development comes out of nowhere with there being nothing to build up to it with the same thing even true for it's characters as none of this shows characters get much in the way of character development and those that do get like in the case of Basha for example it comes out of nowhere as the makers of this show are alot more focused in making the characters as bland as possible then they are in giving us good stories and well thought out characters and where as it would usually be very fix these issues with just a re-write of the script here tho it could require an extra episode or two as then you can develop the pl0t of the show a bit more and the characters can get a bit more development as well as it just seems like the whole story gets rushed once we get to episode four of the show as that's where all of the plot of the show is to be found and all of it means nothing because it wasn't developed all that well and because of the fact that the shows characters aren't that well developed either but I really will admit that this show really does have some really pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is ana action show that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. However tho at the same time this shows action isn't all that good as while we do get to see alot of the shows characters doing alot of really cool moves the shows action just isn't that as creative as it really could have been given the fact that this is an action show with all of the shows action being pretty much the same with one character usually the hero starting out strong before the other character again usually the villain usually outsmarts them in some lazy way and while that is great for storytelling there's only so much that you can see action like that before it starts to get boring and with this being a TV show it's something that does get old and boring pretty quickly but the one thing that this shows action does have going for it is the fact that this is where the shows animation well and truly does come alive with the animation making all of this shows action scenes look really visually impressive with the best example of this also coming from the shows best action scene as we get to see Noni fight this Wakandan renegade calling himself The Lion with the two of them fighting on a pirate ship with the shows animation really does a good job of making sure that all of the hits from both characters look like that they hurt with the show having alot of really good action scenes all throughout including a solid fight scene between Jorani and Basha the fight scene in the first episode is still the best one in the whole entire show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall why Marvel and Disney chose not to market this show until very early last week will forever remain a mystery but what won't is the fact that this show does waste it's main setting by giving us a boring show that had all of the potential in the world to be a really good show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the goo and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this very review and as such that really dos mean that this very show really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.
