Stripperella "Beauty And The Obese" Parts 1 And 2 Review

When you think of Stan Lee you usually think of good quality superheros who have stood the test the time and when the think of Pamala Anderson you think of Baywatch. These two people really shouldn't have come up with a show together and yet in the early to mid 2000's that's exactly what happened with the end result being the very thing who's debut two episodes i'm going to be reviewing for you all today and so then join me as I review the episode just by the title alone lets you know how bad they are with both of the episodes in question being called simply just "Beauty And The Obese" enjoy.

The plot of these two two episodes is when models suddenly quite literally start blowing up it's up Erotica Jones under the guise of her superhero alter ego Stripperella to find out who is causing these models to blow up and stop them before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes well then in all honesty I im all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes was in all honesty not as good as it's could but also not as bad as it really should have been either as by all rights the plot of these first two episodes should have been really painfully bad and it is but because of the fact that the show has this really campy tone where it knows that it's bad and is just going to have fun with it then the plot of these first two episodes does come off as being alot better then what it really had any right to be but at the same time a bad plot will always be a really bad plot and that's exactly what these first two episodes have as it doesn't set up anything that any new superhero show about a brand new superhero really should set up instead it just jumps head first into a nonsensical story with the plot of these first episodes also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these first two episodes is Pamela Anderson as Erotica Jones / Stripperella and Dee Bradley Baker as Ozzy , A Baby and A Business Man , Jon Cryer as Dave and Clifford , Mark Hamill as Narisec Roctod , Dr. Cesarian , A Coroner and A Drunken Slob , Sirena Irwin as Persephone and Cliche , Tom Kenny as Kevin Calhoun , Kid Rock as Stiffy Woods , Maurice LaMarche as Chief Stroganoff , Leonard , DJ , Zumo , Bohemian Guy , Woody Allen and Guy , Jill Talley as Enorma Ray , Kather Lee G , A Receptionist and Margo Van Winkle , Tom Wilson as A Director and Tom Green.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about rh actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad. However at at the same time it's also quite clearly not all that good either which is something that totally makes sense when you take into account that it's main actress really can't act but what was surprising was seeing just how many famous voice actors where in these episodes and while they do indeed turn in passable performance with the same thing also being true for Pamela Anderson as well she is also the the very thing that causes the acting to take a dip in quality as to be frank she's not all that good of an actress and while no one could save the sinking ship that was this show these first two episodes really should have had some really good acting in them even if it's just to let the audience think that the show will be actually good with the acting that's in these first two not really being helped by the fact that the script or these first two episodes was really bad as it gives none of these episodes actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there actual characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does lower the overall quality of the acting that's in these first two episodes.

Doing the animation for these first two episodes is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Sunmin Image Pictures Co.. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes well then in all honesty i in all honesty personally tought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes was in all honesty not really all that bad as there was a quite a clear amount of actual effort and love put into the shows animation but at the same time tho the animation does look cheap looking which does make sense as this show was produced by POW! Entertainment but at the same time tho there really should have been alot more money purred into this shows animation as it's all well and good having all of these big names come in to voice a character or two but at the end of the day it's the animation that will stick with people and it's the animation that people will remember from this show and while the episodes director Kevin Altieri does make the best use of the shows animation that he really could have done even he can't save this shows animation from being nothing more then OK at best and while the show does tend to stick to being 2D there a few CGI scenes in the episodes which don't look that bad but that might be because of the fact that they were actually done by a Nickelodeon company called Nick Digital with the episodes animation also giving all of the characters some really nice and fluid movements to them as well.

For some strange reason this show and these episodes have elements of the Bond films in them like the fact that Erotica has all of these gadgets and the fact that she works for a secret government agency. None of which make a tone of sense as these first episodes really don't explain why she needs these gadgets in the first place and nor does it explain why she works for a secret government agency which would technically make her a spy and not a superhero but the having the gadgets things that does make sense given that she doesn't really have any kind of superpowers of her own but the first episode really should have have explained not only what these gadgets are but also what they do so then we the audience will be fully aware that she has them and can use them in any given situation heck take the Bond films for example they openly have scenes where they set u each and every gadget that Bond is going to use and since this is a two part episode then they could have done something similar but the episode really thought that it was a wise move to instead focus on a pointless subplot about a another stripper going and meeting her conjoined boyfriend brother for the first time something which they also never explain nor do they tie it into the main plot either it's just something that actively takes away from the main plot rather then adding to it and it's that kind of writing that really does make show feel dumb but not for all of the right reasons but rather its for all of the wrong reasons say what you will about Rick And Morty but that show at least has good writing behind it this show doesn't even have that going for it.

Usually when people say that this is an adult cartoon it usually means that you get one maybe two swear words in the whole entire episode. Where as here you get alot of flesh thrown at your face in quite literally every single scene which is a great is fourteen year old boy but it's not something that works for this show or these episode either as all they do is hold them back and limit how good they could be as it feels like the that makers of show who also wrote these first two episodes saw that they had Pamala Anderson in the main cast decided just to make it a fourteen year old boys dream show and yet because of that the show is adult for all of the wrong reasons and these first two episodes do come across as being very cheesy and very predictable as all your left doing is waiting for either the next cleavage shot or the next butt shot to come on and that's really it and a show like this and these first two episodes could have bee alot better heck even the premise of these of these first episodes of models getting fatter and blowing up could have been used to shine a light on societal expectations on women not only in the entertainment industry and yet because it's more focused on delivering a product that the typical fourteen year old boy would never be allowed to watch as it aired at 11pm and SpikeTV we are now left with two episodes that aren't as good as they really could have been and a show that is better left forgotten about.

To the episodes credit they did know to make not only these first two episodes but the show as a whole more of comedy. Which does allow for these first two episodes to have more of a campy tone to them akin to the sixties Adam West Batman TV show but at the same time tho even that show knew to have actually good jokes in them or to at the vert lest go all the way with it's ideas and not include a pointless and unfunny subplot that only makes it characters seem more dumb then what they already are as that is something that happens in these first two episodes with all of the episodes jokes being the kind of jokes that a fourteen year old boy would find edgy but the rest of us would find grown inducing at best like the fact that Erotica's secret agent number is 0069 for example and while there is a few decent jokes in these first two episodes like a blind man going to a strip club complete with someone there telling him exactly what's going on is a funny and good idea but these episodes don't go all the way with there funny ideas and sets ups and so all we are left with is a bunch of a unfunny jokes that a fourteen year old boy would find funny and the only good jokes in the episode not being pushed as far as they actually could have done to make them even funnier both of which are things that do stop these first two episodes from being as enjoyable as they really could have been with even the idea of the villain for these first two episodes having alot of backstories which again is a funny idea but the episode does nothing with it outside of using it for one joke near the end of the episode where he explains his backstory to Erotica and it's just every single cliche villain backstory that you could think off all rolled into one which would have been funnier if these first two episodes went all in on that very idea but they don't so we're just left with yet another undercooked funny idea in an otherwise unfunny pair of episodes.

Now then episode one has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly nineteen minuets and fifty three seconds and episode two has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly nineteen minuets and thirty one seconds. With this kind of plot really needing at the very least one more episode to fully do it justice as the first episode of this show really does have alot of things to set up and it can't do all of that and still tell a really compelling storyline in such a short amount of time and while adding more episode to this story might not fix all of it;s issues it will allow for the show to at the very least get across what the characters personalities really are meant to be and it will allow for the plot overall to become more fully developed since as things stand neither of which can happen as the episodes have to reach the next plot point and do so at such incredible speed that it doesn't feel that it's organic with it feeling like that things are only happening because of the fact that the plot demands it and not because it's something that the characters would do and those are things that would be fixed if this plot had one more episode to told instead of cramming in what is very easily three episodes worth of plot into two episodes as the plot of the episode should always dictate how long it should be and here the plot is just screaming for one episode and yet the makers of this show just stuck with it being a two parter for no reason whatsoever but I really will admit that these first two episodes really do ave some really bad pacing to them to.

So now then as this is an action show that really does mean that I gave to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes was in all honesty not that bad. As the episodes action was perfectly in keeping with the shows more campy tone but at the same time tho this episodes really could have been more over the top and more campy then what it really was as this is a show where going more over the top and going into those more campy areas would only serve to help the show and to help the show become more memorable because of it with a good example of this being the fact that the episode villain Dr. Cesarian is defeated by having his own injections purred into him thus making parts of his body get fatter which is a really campy thing to do but it's the only time when the action in both of these first two episodes gets really campy as even the first scene that we see Stripperella in she's saving a baby from a lion and tiger and yet the episode doesn't do anything fun or funny with that set up it just has her get the baby and get out and then have a word with the Zookeeper because the pay area is literally on top of the Lion Pen and that's really it which isn't fun nor funny and yet it's something that these first two episodes could have done if it was something that they wanted because of the fact that this show is a comedy and so that means that it cold really go to those campy places and just have fun with itself as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall it really is something when you make Barb Wire another Pamala Anderson led hero project look good by comparison with these first two episodes being nothing more then OK at best and it's not hard to see why this show was not only cancelled after thirteen episodes but has also been mostly forgotten about as well as it really is just that bad and just that bland of a show as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in these first two episodes in this very review and as such that really does mean that these first episodes really do earn themselves a combined grand total score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery Film Review

Pro Wrestling and Cartoons are things that have been together since the eighties when the WWE then the WWF released Hulk Hogan Rock N Wrestling and in the mid to late 2010's Vince McMahon thought that it would be a good idea to do a crossover movie with a few Warner Bros and one Sony Pictures cartoon. With the film that i'm going to be reviewing for you all today being the first of these crossover films to be released and so then join me as I review the film that sees the Mystery Inc gang team up with WWE superstars with the film in question being called simply just "Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when Shaggy and Scooby win a trip to WWE City and free Wrestlemania tickets they along with Fred , Velma and Daphne get caught up in a mystery surrounding a bear one which only the WWE superstars can help solve. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as it is the kind of plot that you'd expect a movie like this one to have but at the same time tho the movie does pull it off and does have fun with it's plot which does make what could be seen as being a predictable set up seem somewhat less predictable and while the plot of the film isn't as fully developed as it really good have been for a film whose sole purpose is to get more eyes on the WWE brand the films plot was alot more enjoyable and alot more better then what it really had any right to be as by all rights this films plot should have been really painfully bad and yet what we end up with is a film whose plot is the kind of plot that you'd expects from a film like this one to have and because of it us the audience can just sit back and relax and watch a film with what is rather admittedly a rather dumb plot with the plot of of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Dutton as Cookie , Mary McCormack as Ms. Richards , John Cena as Himself , April Jeanette Mendez as AJ Lee , Anthony Carelli as Santino Marella , Michael Mizanin as The Miz , Paul Levesque as Triple H , Sean Coulthard as Michael Cole , Vince McMahon as Himself , George Murdoch as Brodus Clay , Glenn Jacobs as Kane , Corey Burton as Bayard and Announcer , Bumper Robinson as Ruben and Fred Tatasciore as The Ghost Bear.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. As the acting from both the regular Scooby-Doo voice cast and the actors not playing the WWE superstars is really good which is to be expected as they are trained actor and in the case of Frank Welker a voice acting legend who has been playing he role of Fred since Scooby Doo Where Are You and the role of Scooby Doo since 2002 but it's when we get to the WWE superstars that the acting quality takes a dip which s of no fault of there's as there not trained actors but at the same time tho all of there performances including John Cena's just feel wooden when all there doing is playing a more heightened version of the character that they play on either Raw or Smackdown and that's really it with the worst actor in this film being without a shadow of a doubt being Vince McMahon who just can't act so why he insisted on being in quite literally all of these crossover movies is astounding as the man cannot act his way out of a paper bag with the acting that's in this film not really being helped by the fact that this films script is just so bad as it gives none of this films actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does help to lower the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad and like the plot of the film was really alot better then what it really had any right to be as nobody would have blamed the animation staff that were working on this film if they just phoned it in as by all rights this films animation shouldn't look as good as it did and yet we end up with a film where the animation looks really good especially by the standards of a direct to DVD movie with all of the characters having some really nice and fluid movements to them and alot of the characters getting across alot of emotion just from there facial expressions alone but at the same time tho you can still tell that this was a direct to DVD movie as this films animation does look cheap in places like when the film uses CGI animation for things like cars and rocks which just stand out a mile as they look really bad when compared to the films 2D animation which not only looked good for 2014 standards but holds up really well today as well and it really does make you wonder why Warner Bros Animation didn't bother putting this amount of good animation when it came to their Flintstones and WWE crossover movie.

Even tho Sin Cara is without a doubt the main wrestling character in this film the film just can't resist forcing John Cena down our throats. Just to be clear this film came out at a time when WWE was also forcing John Cena down our throats so it might have come from them as they really wanted us the audience to like him as much as they do but here it just felt weird like we can buy Cena training at the side of the road that does make sense but having him jump out of nowhere to save the gang from a rock whilst his theme music plays just felt weird and was to be frank a really laughable moment during a scene where your not meant to be laughing where as with Sin Cara who is meant to be the main wrestling star in this film as he is the one that knows all about The Ghost Bear and even has a past with the creature as well he gets nothing and is forced to be the guy that Cena has to translate as he doesn't speak in the film and while Cena being forced down our throats might work for his fans both during his WWE run and for those that are just a fan of him because of his acting work it's not something that works in this film as it very easily could have been Sin Cara who saved the gang from the rock just by having him jumping around and out of the forest to save them since they make him to this eccentric type of character in the film it is something that would have been in his character to do something like that in a really flashy sort of way.

Something that does work to the films advantage is the fact that the film has Daphne develop a crush on John Cena pretty much right away. Which is something that does get some decent laughs even tho it's meant to be nothing more then something that won't go beyond this movie and the fact that Cena doesn't even no about and just thinks that she's being really helpful and kind and sweet just makes that idea all the more funnier but what doesn't work at all is the fact that everyone in the movie seems to really love WWE for no reason like it would be understandable if it was a few hundred thousand people or even a few million people for that matter but here almost every single character that they show that's watching Wrestlemania really loves WWE which is something that doesn't make sense it's understandable why the people who bought a ticket to watch the event live and in person would like it but not everyone who watches the events on TV especially those people who in a group of friends for example won't always like it either as wrestling is seen as being this very niche thing that you only like as a kid but then grow out of it and there for the WWE to have this huge fanbase that loves everything that they do so much so that they built an entire city with laws and everything just for them whilst it was entertaining t spot all of the hidden easter eggs and secret cameos from wrestlers in those scenes it also just felt weird to see knowing how professional wrestling and how the fans of professional wrestling are treated in the real world by those that don't like it.

For some strange reason alot of these direct to DVD Scooby-Doo movies seem to not bother giving us the audience clues to who is behind the monster of the movie. This is something that the whole entire franchise is built on doing and yet its something that these direct to DVD movies as fun as they can be seem to lack with the same thing also being true for this film as there are no clues pointing as to who the actual man behind the bear even is which means that when it is revelled that's Cookie who's been terrorising WWWE City then it really does come out of nowhere heck it would have made more sense if it was Kane as the film has him act sort of like a villain anyways or even Bayard would have made some sort sense as then you have the motive behind it as he wanted WWE City gone as they were taking up more and more of his land but with Cookie it doesn't make sense even with the motive which is that he felt that his career had ended far to soon and so he took on the guise of the Ghost Bear in order to get the WWE Championship which he never got to held during his career and that's it and while the motive is solid enough to make him the villain quite literally every single thing that we see with the character has him acting in a jovial way to all of the characters with him even helping the gang solve the mystery of the Ghost Bear and so it really makes no sense for him to be the villain of the film and it's something that make it feel like that the writers of this film forgot to include a culprit until the last few pages of the script and so they just threw him in there as the culprit and hoped that nobody would notice how little that makes sense.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty three minuets and forty one seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running time for alot of these direct to DVD animated Scooby-Doo movies to have in the first place with it really being helped by the fact that this film really does have the absolutely right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time as this is film really don't require that long of a running time in order to fully tell it's story it just needs to be around hour and thirty minuets and that's it and that's exactly what we get in this film and while this film really doesn't use it's running time all that well be developing it's main plot or even it's new characters to it's fullest it could also be argued that the WWE superstars don't really need there characters to be all that developed in this film as they have both raw and Smackdown and the various WWE PPV's to get across what there character is meant to be but at the same time tho this film rally should have developed it's plot even if it's just a little bit more as it's plot is one of the best things that the film has going for it and yet even that just felt like that it was something that made to sell little kids on the WWE product and heck the film even could have used it's running time to actually give us clues as to who the Ghost Bear was instead of pulling something out of thin air at the very last minuet but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho. 

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With the film having some really funny meta jokes very early on in the film about how the gang always the exact same clothes everyday anyway and there they really wouldn't need any kind of luggage in the first place which was a really funny as the one where Daphne asks Velma which scarf she thinks that John Cena will like only for it to be the exact same scarf those are some decent jokes and the film is filled to the brim with alot of really cute jokes just like that all throughout the film but at the same time tho it would have been nice if the film had some jokes that made fun of the WWE like for example they could have had Shaggy and Scooby joke about the fact that Kane looks like an evil dentist which granted those that love Scooby-Doo won't get that joke but those that are die hard into the WWE might get that joke and even the joke that Velma isn't into professional wrestling only to have her fall in love with it by the end of the movie is a decent joke even tho that's literally the only kind of joke that they do with her character in both of the WWE and Scooby-Doo cross over movies and the fact that the gang once shaved Scooby Doo just to catch a monster is also a really decent joke and it's one that really does catch you off guard as well as it's just that good of a joke as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall out of the two team up movies that Scooby-Doo and the WWE did this one is easily the better of the two as this one knows exactly who is going to be watching this film and what kind of film that it is and really isn't afraid to be anything more then just a dumb kids crossover movie as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of he bad things that are in his very film in this very review and such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

Doctor Who: Dot And Bubble Review

Doctor Who has never really been afraid to tackle difficult subjects with them often doing so in subtle ways and while that subtlety was lost in the Chris Chibnall era f the show. It is something that thankfully has been somewhat returned to the show with the episode that i'm going to be reviewing for you all today not only being a prime example of that but also being one of the best reviewed episodes of this current series and so then join me as I review the episode that is the second of two Doctor Lite episodes with the episode in question being called simply just "Dot And Bubble" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is young Lindy finds her whole world turned upside down when monsters start attacking her town and so she has to team up with The Doctor and Ruby to hopefully find away off of her planet before she two gets eaten by the monsters. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with this episodes plot being perhaps the best plot of this current series because of the fact that this episodes plot actually has a twist in it that does genuinely catch you off guard and yet it dares to tackle it's subject matter in a subtle way with this episodes plot being one of the best written plots of this current series and is a sign that the shows show runner and this episodes writer Russell T. Davies really hasn't lost his touch and can craft some some really good plots when he really wants to and while some aspects of the episodes plot do feel underdeveloped like for example it's never really explained why only the rich kids are sent to live on this planet the plot on the whole is a really good plot with this episodes plot also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Ncuti Gatwa as The Doctor , Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday and Callie Cooke as Lindy Pepper-Bean. Also starring in this episode is Eilidh Loan as Cooper Mercy , Aldous Ciokajlo Squire as Harry Tendency , Niamh Lynch as Hoochy Pie , Millie Kent as Valerie Nook , Billy Brayshaw as Blake Very Blue , Pete MacHale as Gothic Paul , Max Boast as Dr Pee , Tom Rhys Harries as Ricky September , Jack Forsyth-Noble as Weatherman Will , Milo Callaghan as Alan K Sullivan , Susan Twist as Penny Pepper-Bean , Ellie-Grace Cashin as Suzie Pentecost and Jamie Barnard as Brewster Cavendish.

As while yes the acting from the shows series leads is as good as it could possibly be given there extremely limited screen time in this episode and the acting from both Callie Cooke and Tom Rhys Harries was also pretty good it's the acting from the rest of the episodes characters that falls short with them all just turning in some really bland and boring performances which in the case of Susan Twist does oddly work given what we know about her character in later episodes but for the actors that are playing Lindy's "friends" it's not something that really does work out all that well as there meant to help us the audience to understand not only the world that there currently on and the people on it but to also get a better idea of who they are as people and outside of there screen names none of that is put across an granted all of the actors that play her friends are supporting actors and there for won't be required to turn in as good of a performance as the episodes other characters the actors playing them still need to actually act and turn in a performance with the acting that's in this very episode also being helped by the fact that his episodes script is just so good that all this episodes actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance really will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

Doing the CGI for this episode is the true legends and the really greats that are currently over at Real SFX. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as while the episode does have some fairly obvious CGI like the monsters for alot of the time it also has some hidden CGI as well like the fact that alot of the backgrounds are done in CGI are have had some level of CGI work done to them and that can be very distracting as it makes the whole thing just look fake and while the CGI monsters do look good and they do offer a reason as to why they were done in CGI in the Doctor Who Unleashed episode the practical monsters that they built and had on had on set for the episode look so much better then the ones that were done in a computer as they were done by real people and practical effects will always look better then effects that are done in a computer but with that being said when they do show of what the monsters mouths look like that was something that looked really good and it was something that was done entirely in a computer which is a good way to use CGI in this episode as there's no way that they could have done something like that practically and there for they had to use CGI.

In what was a rather smart move the makers of this episode actually get us to like Lindy at the start of the episode. Only to then have it be revealed that she's actually a racist horrible person who is only looking out for number one this was such a smart move to make as while the episode does plant the seeds of Lindy's more racist nature all throughout the episode it's all done in throwaway lines and so they could be very easy to miss and yet when it does get to that big reveal near the end of the episode where she openly leaves the one who actually helped to save her and lets him die and then turn down travelling with The Doctor and Ruby because The Doctor isn't one of them it's still a shocking twist and it's one that makes you wonder if Lindy was always like that as she was seen as being a very likable character at the start of the episode and one that you wanted to see survive and it's only then that you realise that not only all of Lindy's friends but also all or surviving people on the planet Finetime are all of a certain color and that right there is a subtle way to tackle racism in this show as while it doesn't outright way say that Lindy and her friends are being racist infact it could also be viewed as them being classist buy it's something that once you notice in repeat viewings of the episode then it's something that you then can't unsee as it's just that well done.

On a much more lighter note this episode is responsible for giving people a massive earworm in the form of "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini" by Bombalurina. Why the makers of this episode chose this song to be featured in this episode is beyond me but it is something that really does go to show you that Russell T. Davies really does know how to pick a good cheesy song and fit it nicely into any given episode of Doctor Who because now whenever people either A think of that song or B think of this episode chances are there going to either again A think of this episode or B think of this song as the two of them just match so well together but on the downside of that is not only the fact that people will now have this song stuck in there heads for days on end but they also don't use the song in a fun way like they did "Spice Up Your Life" instead here they just have someone who is meant to be an Internet Celebrity release of a video of him singing the song and that's really it heck they don't even have the characters singing the song either which just felt like a waste of a good idea and heck they even could have have had aa fun sequence with Ricky and Lindy escaping the monsters whilst this song is playing in the just something or anything more then they what they did do with the song would have been more fun to watch.

One of the biggest negative aspects not only with this episode but with this first series as whole is the fact that we got not one but TWO Doctor lite episodes airing back to back. This is of course something that couldn't be helped as Ncuti Gatwa was just finishing work on Sex Education at the time that the previous episode 73 Yards was filming and so he really couldn't be in both of these episodes but at the same time that does also rob us of having a moment where The Doctor truly feels like The Doctor and while this first series was all but mocked by those online for having The Doctor cry almost every single episode here it is something that would have made sense as he is basically being told that these characters would rather die then go with him because of the color of his skin and that is something that could have led to a moment where the character starts to feel like himself and has a moment where Ncuti truly does feel like The Doctor and while the scene that they give him does work and it was indeed the very first thing that he shot for this first series of the show it's also something that would have meant more if we just hadn't had to Doctor Lite episodes airing back to back as that is something that whilst it doesn't hinder this episode all that much it is something that does hinder this first series of the show itself and it is something that really should have been thought about when the episode was at the editing stages as they very easily could have had at least a weeks break between both this episode and 73 Yards and had Rogue air in the middle but as things stand it makes The Doctor feel like a guest character in his own show.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly forty three minuets and thirty two seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running time for this show to have at this point in time and ton this episodes credit it really des just the absolutely right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time but at the same time tho this episode really doesn't take that full advantage of it's running time as it does leave alot of things unexplained one of which being the fact that all of the kids that are on Finetime or all rich kids with the episode not even fleshing out all of the guest characters apart from Ricky who gets one line of dialog near the middle of the episode and that's really it and when this whole episode hinges on us liking Lindy before she reveals herself to be this truly horrid person she is someone that really should been given the most development since we know nothing about her at the start of the episode and we know just as much when it comes to the end of the episode and it's like that for all of the episodes guest characters and it's something that really should have been fixed even more so when you take into account that this episode really can't fall back on having The Doctor and Ruby show up and so they really had to take the time to make the guest characters interesting and that is something that this episode very sadly failed to do but I really will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. As even tho this episode really only has one action scene in the whole entire that action scene is filled to the brim with so much suspense and drama that it is something that really does work for this episode with this episodes action taking a less is more approach by only having either Lindy or Ricky hitting a small ball like object that's trying to kill them and that's really it and that's something that really does work as the scene has so much suspense and drama in it anyways that you really don't need a big action packed finale to make it work and given that it sets up the scene where Lindy is revealed to be a racist along with everybody on Finetime it is a scene that works on it's own and while yes tis episode could have done with having an action scene when Lindy and Ricky first meet up just establish just how much of a threat this episodes monsters are as it is this episode works fine with having just the one action scene in it in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. 

Overall it's easy to say why this episode is the highest rated episode of this current series on Rotten Tomatoes as it really is just that good of an episode and one that might also serve as an episode that's great for new fans to jump of with as the episode gives you everything that you've come to expect from Doctor Who in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as being all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

My Top 5 Worst AND My Top 5 Best Films Of The Year 2024 Edition

It's that time of the year once again everybody and since we have a tradition on this blog and that is that on the last day of the year I tell you what my own personal top 5 worst and top 5 best films of the year are. With it being oddly hard to decide what should even go in the best of category this year as there are so many films that were released this year that could all justifiably lay claim to being the best film of the year and as always if you don't see your favorite film on here then just assume that i've either not seen it or that it's in a number six with the rules still being the same I have to have seen the film in order to for it count and it has to have had a UK release date of 2024 enjoy.

WORST

5) Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey 2  

Lets be real here nobody thought that the sequel to a film that was only made because some of the characters entered public domain was going to be any good. Even more so when you take into account that the first film was my worst film of the year last year and yet one year later here we are with a sequel film that not only improves upon everything that the original set out to do in every single way possible but actually improves upon them like the fact that for starters this film actually has a pretty big budget of around two hundred thousand pounds which means that the makers of this film could not only afford some pretty decent actors but could actually give the Pooh characters some actually decent costumes and masks something that the original film just couldn't afford to do and while yes this film does start to build up the Twisted Childhood Universe a bit as well it was still great to see a film making team that realised that the first film wasn't that good and actively set out to rectify that in the sequel and while yes there a few bad things in this film like the fact that the film retcons the first film into being a movie that's in this film and the fact that they made Pooh Christopher Robin's brother for no reason whatsoever it still doesn't change the fact that this film was a huge step up interms of quality from the previous film and it gives out hope that the rest of the films in this cinematic universe will be just as good as the ones that came before it.

While there have been a shockingly good amount of really good horror films released this year alot of people seem to not mention this one. As while yes it is still a fairly bad film in it's own right no one's dismissing that it is still alot more better then the film that came before as this film does actually have some decent acting with a more likable and more proactive Christopher Robin and it actually features Tigger in it as by the time that this film entered pre-production he entered the public domain and with a third film already in the development stages and a confirmed crossover film with all of the monsters from this universe it's save to say that this franchise isn't going anywhere any time soon and why should as even tho having good horror films is great we still need films that are just pure junk food for the brain and that's exactly what this film is and what this whole cinematic universe could be as it could be a cinematic universe where you don't need to think why things are the way that they are and you can just sit back laugh at what's going on on screen and just have fun with it even tho what your watching is still a really bad film and while public domain characters getting their own horror film is sadly becoming something of a thing now thanks to oddly enough the release of the first film when it's done right it can be something that's enjoyable as along as they don't take themselves two seriously actually have things going on in the film itself.

4) Mean Girls (2024)

This year seemed to be the year of the remake with both the original Mean Girls and The Crow both getting remakes of there very own and while the The Crow will be getting grouped up with a bunch of other films later on in this post. This one deserved it's own slot as it's not just bad but it's offensively bad like the makers of this film just made all of the wrong of the wrong choices when choosing to adapt the stage musical which from comments online wasn't even that popular of a show to begin with which does beg the question of why remake something when there clearly isn't an audience for it and the answer is so simple it's because of nostalgia for you see Paramount Pictures was hoping to capture some of the same success that Disney has had with there live action remakes only the original Mean Girls wasn't animated in the first place and because Disney uses people's nostalgia for those original films in the remakes trailers they become hit films and that was something that Paramount was hoping would work for this film as they bumped it up from being a streaming release of Paramount+ to getting a theatrical release and to be frank this is film that really should have stayed on Paramount+ as while yes it still would have gotten a ton of negative reviews for it the film wouldn't have lost them as much money as it did when it got released into theaters at the start of the year with the film now being mostly forgotten about by not only those at Paramount themselves but also those that actually went to watch the film when it was first released as well.

To give this film at the vert least some form of credit it does at the very least try to be creative in some of it's musical sequences but that's really it. As this film is just as bland and just as boring as lot of the other remakes that got released this year and heck even the cameo from original Mean Girls star Lindsey Lohan could't save the film and as such it really is a film that tried and failed to capitalize on people's nostalgia for the first film even brining back two actors to reprise there roles from the original film and heck it even had the same writer as the first film buy where as the first film felt like that it tapped into how teenage gurls actually talk and act like when there around each other this film instead felt like it was how a big time hollywood executive things teenage girls act and speak like when there around each other as this film just lost all of the edge that the first film was instead toned down for no reason other then to get more screenings fitted in when if the makers of the film bothered to actually make the film an actually good film in the first place then more people would have actually have gone to see the film anyways thus making Paramount Pictures some actual money which in the end was what the studio really wanted to do in the first place but because they thought that getting in more screenings instead of actually making the film better would work we instead end up with a film that's a complete and total waste that no person should ever go and see.

3) Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire

When the sequel to Godzilla Vs Kong was first announced there was a lot of hype surrounding the film and even more so when it was announced that the same director would be returning for this film. However what we instead got was a film that if it came out even a month before the great Godzilla Minus One did would have been seen as being a really good film but because it wasn't it meant that people got to see what an actually good if not great Godzilla film could be like and so they were then left shocked and dismayed when this film came out and they saw that the film was nothing more then an average piece of fanfiction that felt right home on a streaming service then it did being a theatrically released movie as this film just felt like a lamer version of what a Godzilla film should have been and while yes the film does indeed get credit for brining back Mothra into the Monsterverse bringing back one good character doesn't make for a good movie as the film fails on all other accounts as the film is needlessly complicated and hard to to follow along with when a Godzilla film should be really simple and easy to follow along with all of the new characters are just bland at best which granted is also true for the Japanese Godzilla films and the characters that do come back from the previous film just felt wasted like they were only there because of the fact that they were inn the human cast of the previous film and not because of the fact that they actually added anything to the plot of this film.

Again the film does get some credit for having some decent looking CGI in it and of having some really decent looking action scenes in it as well but you still need a good story to wrap them all in. Which is sadly where this film starts to fall apart as the films plot can only best be described as being both forgettable and bland and boring at best with the films acting being virtually none existent as those actors that were good in the first film here just feel like that there sleepwalking through the whole entire film and heck we don't even get to see Godzilla and Kong on the screen together for a vast majority of this films running time with Kong being in the Hollow Earth for pretty much all of the films running time and Godzilla being up on Earth and for a film that relies on them being together and the audience wants to see them together for larger portion of the films running time the makers of this film really should have gotten the two of them together even if it's rivals alot more quicker then what they actually did do instead we spend alot of the films running time with a bunch of underdeveloped and bland human characters trying to convince the two of them to actually team with even the films villain who is quite literally just another Kong being a bland and boring when this franchise allows you to go to more fantastical places with your villains and yet the makers of this film chose not to do any of that and instead give us a character that is of the exact same species as Kong only dull and with no end goal in mind.

2) So Many Comic Book Movies To Name

From The Crow to Kraven: The Hunter it seems like that Hollywood seemed to really like giving us bad comic book movies. While yes Deadpool & Wolverine is a great movie it still doesn't change the fact that the overall majority of comic book movies that we got this year were just flat out bad and in the case of being Hellboy: The Crooked Man also being a bland and boring mess of a film that will be forgotten about quite shortly and heck even the sequel to one of the biggest films of 2019 Joker with Joker: Folie à Deux being an overly long mess of a film that only decided to be a musical because of the fact that it had Lady Gaga in it and that's really it and heck the film doesn't even take advantage of it being a musical with it just including songs that were already written and not creating anything new that could work or the plot of this film but none of that compares to legacy spitting mess that is The Crow if this movie was just a bad movie then fair enough but due to what happened during the production of the first movie this film actively spits on the legacy of Brandon Lee which really begs the question of should The Crow have even been remade in the first place and the answer is shockingly yes but only if the makers of the film could have done something new and different with the material and yet here all we got was a more angsty version of Twilight that had the budget of a badly done show that was airing on The CW.

Say what you will about Madame Web but the one thing that you can't accuse that film of being is boring. Which is sadly what alot of the really bad comic book movies where this year even Venom: The Last Dance which by all rights should have been anything but boring was still a dull film to watch and Kraven: The Hunter was so bad that's cause Sony to end there Sony's Spider-Man Universe because none of those films that got released this year made them any money and heck out of all the bad comic book movies that came out this year the only one that was entertaining just due to how bad it was was oddly enough Madame Web as at the very least then you could still laugh at how bad it was and laugh at how cringy the dialog and acting is where as with all of the other bad comic book movies that came out this year you can't even do that as there all just boring messes of films that really shouldn't have been made in the first place or if they were going to be made then they should have had more time put into the scriptwriting stage of the film as they all feel like that they all got the OK after the first draft of the script and they all feel like that those making the films never even read a comic book of the hero that there adapting with the same also being true for Hellboy: The Crooked Man and that film did have Hellboy's creator working on it as well as that's just how bad all of these movies really well and truly were.

1) The Mouse Trap

Speaking of bad films that just so happen to how public domain characters be the main villain of them they don't get much more worse then this film right here. As at the very least Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey and The Grinch horror film had at least something going on in them where as this film didn't have that going for it as this film was only made because of the fact that the Steamboat Willie version of Mickey Mouse and Steamboat Willie itself entered the public domain and that's really it with the whole entire mainly getting interest from people due to the fact that it has someone dressed as Mickey Mouse be the killer of the film but we got in the film was a film that was completely boring and lacked any form of a coherent plot with acting that's more suited to shall we say adult films and a film that has no cool kills in it whatsoever and with a year that was filled to the brim with good horror movies like for example Late Night With The Devil and In A Violent Nature it's sad to see an independent horror film be as bad as this one and what's worse is the fact that this even hints at the sequel by including a reference to Minnie Mouse and heck the film can't even decide on which set of characters that it even wants to focus on as just as soon as the main plot gets somewhat interesting it then cuts to the police interviewing one of the characters from the other plot with those scenes being set AFTER the main bulk of the film which makes the the main plot useless and the scenes with the police and the survivor aimless as well.

While with the other films featured on this worst list there was at least something decent in them that at least somewhat redeemed them even just a little bit. With this film there really was none of that as there was nothing in this film that's even close to being good as while the of having Mickey Mouse be a slasher killer is a solid idea that could carry a film if done right in this film is that idea is let done by the bad script with both the idea and the acting being let down by the very bad directing and because of that there is nothing wroth while about this film so much so that i've known for months that nothing would be able to top this film as being the worst film of year and while some came close all of those films including Madame Web where at the very least entertaining to watch where as here there was nothing entertaining to be found in this film and heck even with Winnie The Pooh: Blood And Honey would could at the very least tell that the makers of that film wanted to make a good film but where held back by there very limited budget and yet they still managed to work around that and a create a film that's so bad that it's good again where as with this film all we ended up with was a film that it's quite clear as day that nobody wanted to make a good film and just wanted to make a cheap cash grab of a film and to there credit that's exactly what they went and did but don't be expecting a sequel for this film to be coming out any time soon.

5) Deadpool & Wolverine

Even tho we did get quite alot of really painfully bad comic book movies out there this year there was one that was actually really good. With that film of course being Deadpool & Wolverine and what made this film so good aside from the face that it's really well written and well acted film is the fact that the makers of this film actually listened to what the fans wanted and have been saying that they wanted for years now and that's not only for Deadpool and Wolverine to team up but for Wolverine to also don his classic comic book costume and for years Fox have denied us both of those for one reason or another and yet the second that the X-Men have there film rights brought back to Marvel the first thing that they do with them in terms of the movies is have both of the things that we the fans have wanted for years happen and while yes granted this film could be viewed as being nothing more then fanservice but considering just how bad the MCU has been lately be it with there movies or with there Disney+ shows the fact that this movie managed to get as many people as it did watching and make as much money as it did proves that they did something right and while this film might not save the MCU it does prove that they do still know how to make good MCU movies when they really want to and because of that we ended up with this really painfully funny film that really is the best comic book film to be released this year.

While many people will hate this film or just straight up not think that it's not as good as other MCU movies out there. To them i'd like to say that the recent MCU have been bad at best with a couple of them even making my worst of list as well and yet this film managed to defy all expectations as this was not only the first R rated MCU film but it was also the very first R rated film to be released under the mainline Disney banner as well and yet they hold nothing back and go just far with that R rating as even the Fox movies did and some cases even further then what the Fox movies would have done as well with this film having some shockingly really good VFX and jokes that are painfully funny it's safe to say that not only Deadpool but also the X-Men are in save hands as Fox never really knew what to either property and yet when Marvel  got them back not only did we get this fantastic movie but we also got the fantastic X-Men '97 Disney+ show as well both of which make it pretty clear that for now at least both properties are in good hands and while that admittedly can change in the future what won't change is the fact that this is a really good movie that alot of people myself included either really like or really love and while this film does have it's bad sides as well with the plot being thin at best the plots to the Deadpool films where never those films strongest suits as those where the comedy and the action and it's in both of those aspects that this film really does excel in.

 4) A Whole Lot Of Horror Films

Much like with how there was so many bad comic book movies released this year there was really quite alot of really good horror movies released this year as well. From there likes of Late Night With The Devil to big studio films like Abigail this year was for the most part a really good year for horror films with there quite literally being something for everybody for if you didn't like the over the top gore of Terrifer 3 there MaXXXine or if you didn't like the supernatural aspect of Late Night With The Devil there was the really gory In A Violent Nature either way you were going to see something that made you feel something be it fear for watching a new film that's actually scary or excitement for seeing a new film that you actually like you felt something either way and that's what film is meant to do it's meant to make you feel something and that's something that is not only common with the rest of the films in this very post but also with all of the good horror films that came out this year even with the shockingly recent release of the remake of Nosferatu which proved that not only in the vampire sub-genre of horror alive and well but so is the idea of doing gothic horror films that can actually scare you as well as entertain and thrill you and while granted not alot of those films where big at the box office apart from Terrifier 3 which is the biggest independent horror film for quite a few years now low box office doesn't make for a bad film as none of these films are bad films there all really good horror films released in a year hat saw quite alot of really good horror released and scare people.

Out of all of the horror films that where released this year it really was hard to say which one was the best of the best. Simply because of the fact that I haven't seen them all but out of the ones that I personally did see i'd say that it's In A Violent Nature that was the best horror film released this year followed very closely by Late Night With The Devil simply because of the fact that the ideas behind both of them was so fresh and new that it helped breathed life into horror films as whole and it helped to make them both standout in sea of horror films as In A Violent Nature quite literally puts you into the shoes of the killer thus making us the audience both see and experience everything that the typical slasher villain sees and goes through as well and Late Night With The Devil had a unique concept to it as while the idea of doing a found footage film is really nothing new and could be seen as being quite tiresome the idea of putting in the format of "lost" seventies TV show talk show and have that weird finale really makes the concept seem fresh and new again as it makes you wonder what the host actually did when he thought that he was killing off his dead wife and that's something that horror films can do as they can make you think as well as both thrill and scare you at the same time and yet it's something that not alot of modern Hollywood horror films seem to do for some reason as films like Late Night With The Devil can prove that you can do both and still get a good movie out of what could have been seen as being a really tired and word out concept.

3) Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story

Much like how we seemed to get alot of really bad comic book movies this year we also seemed to oddly get alot of documentaries and biopic as well. With the best one of the bunch also being my this best film of the year simply because of the fact that it managed to capture just who Christopher Reeve was a person and capture the hope and the magic and that he himself brought not only to the role of Superman but to all of his roles as well with it being painfully clear as day that the makers of this film were huge fans of his work and wanted to make a film that would be represent him while Jim Henson: Idea man was made by the bigger company in this case Disney that doesn't mean that there was alot of love put behind the project as while Jim Henson: Idea Man is a really good film and one that any body who loves The Muppets really should watch this is film is the better of the two as you get all of the heart , humour and heroics that Christopher Reeve was known for in his life and hearing how he struggled with his injuries even right up to the end but he still kept on going proves that while not all superheroes wear capes he was truly a superhero , a super dad , super husband and most importantly then all of that he was also a super man as well all of which combine to give us a film that gives the most accurate look at the man who played the most famous hero of all time and who truly made us believe that a man can fly.

While there are alot of really good things that can and have been said about this film in all of the review for this film. There are also some aspects that don't quite work out just as well like the fact that the film really doesn't include that many interviews with the people who knew him best those being friends , family and the people that he worked with with the film adding in comments and interviews from his fans which while that is expected in this film just doesn't work out all the well and it gets in the way of the films gut punch of an ending which whilst it is obvious what the ending of the film is going to be it's hearing how his kids acted and reacted when they found out there dad had died with all but one of his kids there at the hospital with him with the other son being on his way to the hospital before getting the call and being told basically not to bother going to the hospital as there father had just died that right there is a gut punch of ending because just picture not being able to say goodbye to your father one last time , picture not being able to see him one last time and picture not being able to just hold his hand one last time which yes might sound corny as all heck but it's also something that hits you right in the gut and because of that fantastic ending this film really does stay with you after you finish it as you realise that Chris never got to finish all of the things that he set out to do which is something that only adds to the emotional value of the films highly emotional ending.

2) The Wild Robot AND Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl

Yeah these next two slots where the hardest to fill out of this years best off list with the rest of the list also being really hard to fill out as by rights any one of the above mentioned films could have had the number 1 slot and it would make total sense. However just like there has to be a winner there also has to be a number 2 which in this case is a tie between what may be the best two animated films of the year and while I am somewhat cheating with Wallace & Gromit since that film doesn't get a worldwide release until the 3rd of January it did air over here in the UK on Christmas Day so it does count with both of this films just being great films not only with little kids around but also just by yourself as animation isn't just for kids it's for everyone and that's something that both of these film do very well as they both have moments that yes could be seen as being very childish and very childlike as well but then they both have themes and moments that little kids won't get quite yet but adults will do thus making them appear more adult then what they already are and in the case of The Wild Robot it also has a highly emotional ending that will bring even the most stone faced person to tears and Wallace & Gromit has alot of jokes that yes Americans won't get but British people and both of those work for both of those film as well with both of this films having some truly voice acting in them and being alot better then what they really should have been as well.

What you expect from Aardman but don't quite expect from Dreamworks as they're very hit and miss with there animation is for both of these films to have some truly fantastic animation to them both as well. With both of this film being a prime example of just how good both CGI animation and stop motion animation can be when it's done by people who care about there craft and who are willing to go the extra mile like the director of The Wild Robot to make the worlds that these films take place feel real and lived in whilst also understanding that both of these films do have a slight fantastical element to them both as well both of which works out really well for this film both of which makes both of these films two of the best animated films to come out this year and while that's not really a high bar to reach as there really weren't that many good animated films out this year it makes these two films all the more important to watch as it shows the Hollywood bosses that we want actually good animated films and don't want badly done sequels like Inside Out 2 which many people like but i'm not nor will I ever likely to be one of them as that film doesn't tell that good of a story with good or interesting characters where as both of these two films have good stories that are worth telling and in the case of Wallace & Gromit have characters have characters that are icons in there own right and in the case of both films have just some genuinely good and well written characters in there own right.

1) Wicked: Part 1

When I said that choosing the number one spot was hard I really did mean it as it was between this film , Vengeance Most Fowl and The Wild Robot. With the film only just pipping the other two to the post just because of the fact that it ha some really good songs to it other wise all three would have most likely have taken the number 1 spot and there would have been a case for that happening as well with the film being just so good and while I didn't get the chance to review the film due to health reasons at the time I did get the chance to go and see the film and I can say that is so worth watching not just for the musical numbered alone altho that is a big part of it but also for the story being told and the acting in it as well as it all just top notch and really well done while alot of people might have been worried or maybe perhaps even scoffed at the idea of this musical being split into two the makers of this film have proved that it was the right call as there was no way that you could tell this story in one film at the very least not without doing some serious damage to the films plot and cutting out some really great songs as such this is one of the very rare cases where splitting the film up into halves does actually make sense even if it means that the first part feels like an extended trailer for the second but either way if you haven't done already go and see this film and even if you have done go and see it as it's just that good of film.

It really hard to find that much negative to say about the fil as this film is just that good in all respects and while yes some parts of the film could have done better then others. Given that this is a two part film alot of the faults with the films plot could have been them setting up stuff that pays off in the second film or it could have been done that way in the stage production in which case there not really a fault of a film as there then a fault of the stage show if there's anything that really doesn't work it's the fact that the plot withy the animals being taken away really doesn't add anything to the plot of this film and rather it instead takes away from the plot of this film as ll it does is take you out of the film as it's just that dull and boring of a plot to see play but when the film does drop it the film oddly does get better again with characters that you actually like and enjoy as there just that fun to be around and while the film really doesn't have that many comedic moments in it when it does they can be really funny with all of the films songs being not really well done in the film but also really well done by all of those involved as well with it being really hard to say what the best song in the whole entire film really is as there all just that good with the film itself being worth seeing just for the songs alone as they really are just that damned good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.
