Why The Hell Are Here Teacher: First Period Review

Anime is an artform that really does come in shapes and sizes and as a result of that is the fact there is quite literally something for everyone. With the show that i'm going to taking a look at today being made very much for adult audiences with this review being based off of the really uncensored version of the shows first every episode and so then join me as I review the episode that really is so close to really being a very adult episode with the episode in question being called simply just "First Period" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is young student Ichiro Sato keeps on finding himself in embarrassing situations with his teacher Kana Kojima. Now the interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual poot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty person ally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us  in this very episode was in all honesty simple but delightfully so as it's pretty obvious from the shows set up that this show isn't going to have deep and complex plots to it and as a result of that is the fact that it would be foolish to expect this debut to have a deep thought provoking plot to it with the main plot of this episode mainly being used as an excuse to get both of the characters into some really embarrassing situations and just seeing what they do in those situations with the plot of this also being really rather entertaining and  as well as being really rather engaging as well in y freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Maggie Flecknoe as Kana Kojima , Melody Spade as Mayu Matsukaze and Austin Tindle as Ichiro Sato and Andrew Love as Rin Suzuki. As you all can no doubt work this review of the show is being based off of the dubbed version of the show just because of the fact that it was just a lot more easier to watch the dubbed version of the episode then it was the subbed version of the episode with this dub being alot better then what it really had any right to be with the characters lips matching up almost perfectly with what they are saying and the fact that alot of this episodes actors are all really well cast and thus have voices that perfectly fit there respective characters  all of which combine to give us a dub that on paper really shouldn't work as no one would blame if they chose not to give a show like this one a really good dub a dub actually somehow does infact really work and work out really well at that which is something that is sure to catch alot of anime really off guard as that's just hoe good the dubbing is in this episode.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us n this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty alot better then what it really had any right to be. As really nobody would have blamed the cast for this episode if they chose not to turn in a good performance for this episode given the genre that this show as this is a genre that doesn't really demand great or even good acting in it's episodes and yet that's exactly what we got in this episode as really all of the episodes cast members really do turn in some really good performances in this episode which really isn't all that surprising given that one of this episodes actors is an anime voice acting legend with the acting in this episode not really being helped by the episodes script as the script for this episode really doesn't give this episodes all that much to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which s something that really does effect the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

Doing the animation for this episode and for this show as a whole is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Tear Studio. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with the animation being much like the acting in some respects as it's alot better then what it really had any right to be but at the same as well the animation in this episode isn't as good as it really could have been with alot of drawings in this episode coming across as being really flat at best with the animation in this episode also not being as highly detailed as the animation is in other ecchi shows and while yes the animation in this episode is indeed really good it also could have been alot better as while the animation on the female characters get alot of love and some really good animation the episodes male characters don't get any of that with there animation coming across as being rather dull to look at.

The characters in this episode do come across as being slightly entertaing and that's taking into account that not alot of the characters get alot of time to actually shine. Yet those that do like Kana Kojima and Ichiro Sato as Ichiro comes across as being the stereotypical teenager who just so happens to keep on getting up in all of these embarrassing situations where Kana Kojima comes across as the type of person who is willing to do whatever she wants to do and is willing to have a go ant anybody if it means that they change there life around for the better as she's a good person deep down where as the other two characters in this episode rather rightfully don't have alot of time to shone and as a result of that is the fact that it's hard to get a read on what it is there characters are like as they only appear on screen for a few seconds maybe a few minuets at the absolute which does make sense as there presence isn't really the main  focus of the plot of this episode but at the same time given that this is the first episode of the show it would have made sense to give alot of this episodes at least some chance to get across what there characters are like as that would make it easier for us the audience to get to know these characters alot more then what we already do.

For those of you that don't know that this show is actually based off of the manga of the exact same name. With the manga itself being published from April 24th 2017 and are still being published in Weekly Young Magazine's Young Magazine KC imprint while it is hard to say if this episode is a good representation of the manga or if this anime does justice to the manga it is interesting to see that this series was in production whilst the manga was still being published as it makes you wonder where the story was going and it means that if this show did attract some new fans then they would most likely be more inclined to check out the manga as they'd want to see more of these character and they'd want to see where the plot of the series as a whole ultimately ends up going which is something that wouldn't be possible if the manga had ended when the show was being produced and while yes there are merits to doing the anime adaptation after the manga is finished as that does allow for a more faithful adaptation in this case it's something that really isn't needed as the episode itself is basically just a sketch comedy show and those don't have nor even need alot of continuity in order to just be funny and really fun to watch.

This episode is mostly set inside in the school which is a really bad idea as it makes the world of this show feel alot more smaller then it actually is. As all it does is make it look like that the only setting in this show is just the school and nothing more then that and while this episode basically just has two separate sketches and as a result of that is the fact that it would have been hard for the show to give us a new setting without stretching either sketch beyond breaking point it would have been nice if we got to see alot more of this world just because of the fact that it would then allow both Kana Kajima and Ichiro Sato the chance to get into some more comedic situations which is something that should have been the main reason for them to really feature more locations in this episode as this show is afterall a comedy and yet by limiting the amount of settings that we get to see in this episode it also has the effect of making this show look really cheap looking this is not helped by the fact that there only a handful of characters in this episode which really doesn't help with the fact that it makes this show come across as being really cheap to make.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running tie of exactly eleven minuets and thirty one seconds. Which is a bit on the short side for this episode to last as you very easily could have gotten this episode to at the very least fifteen minuets which would have bee very easy do as all you'd have to is just expand on the set ups for both of the segments as the episode have more then enough plot there to really cover a fifteen minuet running time it's also something that wouldn't really harm the episode as a whole either but what it would do is run the risk of making the shows only joke come across as being rather thin and drawn out but it would also the episodes side characters the chance to be more fleshed out characters and at least have more screen time and more to do which would in turn given them a chance to get across what those side characters are really like as people something which doesn't really get to happen in the final cut of the episode but I will admit that this episode really does gave some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is comedy that means that I gave t actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us n this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad for the most part. As while the episode does have a really good joke it also has just that one joke and it's joke that does start to get old really fast as you no exactly what the punchline of the joke will be the second that the setup for that particular segment has been established and as a result of that is the fact that it then means that we the audience are then watching the Ichiro Sato play catch up to us the audience and get the punchline that we already know is coming and while it can be a funny punchline and while the episode does give some verity of that punchline of the teacher being there in some rather revealing clothing it's still not really enough to make this one joke seem fresh and funny every single time that they tell the exact same joke in this episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this is decent first episode it's also one that doesn't make you want to watch the over episodes in this show either as everything that you can expect to see in the rest of the series are all there in the first segment of this episode with next to nothing new added to them in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Bow then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

House Of The Dragon "A Son For A Son" SPOILER FILLED Review

After almost two years of waiting the new season of the hottest show to debut in 2022 has just started it's second season. This is a show that quite alot of people have been excited about with many people online even commenting just how long there is left until this episode drops online and well then it's finally here and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the episode that has a few people angry for all of the right reasons with the episode in question being called simply just "A Son For A Son" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is Rhaenyra and Daemon seek revenge for the death of their son while forces in Kings Landing pull the king in several directions to get him to act that they want to. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good for the most part as the plot of this episode isn't the strongest f plots to start of with but at the same time there was no way that they could start of the second season of this show without having to address several things that happened in the last series and still tell a good story and with that in mind the episodes plot does come as being bothy alot better then what it really should have been like and alot more worse then what it could have been with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us un this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode weas in all honesty really good. Which is not all that shocking as not only this show but also Game Of Thrones have always had some really good acting in them with this episode and this show also having some really good actors in them who we all know can turn in a good if not great performance because of the fact that we've seen them do exactly that in other projects and that's exactly what they do in this episode as the actors that you expect a great performance from really do deliver some really good performances in this episode with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally and what is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

Doing the CGI for this episode is Outpost VFX , Pixomondo , Red Visual Effects , The Third Floor London , MPC Episodic and Wētā FX. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good which again is really nothing new for either this show nor Game Of Thrones even more so when you take into account who is doing the CGI for this episode as alot if not all of the companies that are doing the CGI for this episode have always turned in some really good looking effects and while the effects in this episode do border on looking a little bit to fake those effects are in the minority with the overall vast majority of the effects in this episode not only being really good effects but are also movies quality effects as they really are just that good with the episode itself being worth watching just for the effects alone.

Much like Game Of Thrones this new season of House Of The Dragon also gives us some brand new opening titles. However unlike Games Of Thrones where only a few things where changed about the titles from season to season the opening titles for this season have changed everything that were in the opening titles from the previous season with the new opening titles instead giving us a tapestry about the Targaryen family and what some of there history is in the land of Westeros and while the new titles are indeed very visually impressive the opening titles of the first come across as being alot better as those titles felt alot more darker and really alot more in keeping with the tone of the show where as the titles for this season of the show instead come across as being something that goes against the tone of the show as there alot more lighter and brighter and as a result of that is the fact that they make the show feel alot more like a soft reboot of the show then what they actually are which is something that does make the opening titles in this season of the show really do feel like alot more weaker version of the titles in the first season of the show.

To give this episode some form of credit it does go along way to making the rivalry between Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and Queen Alicent Hightower. As even tho they don't get to spend alot of time on screen together they are plotting against each other both in big ways and in small ways with the death of Rhaenyra's son at the end of the previous season really upping the rivalry and as a result of is both Daemon and Rhaenyra are out for blood and will do anything to get the revenge that they so desperately seek with Alicent now being more focused of destroying Rhaenyra from the inside by not going after her directly but by going after the ones that she lives the most which is a huge step up from the previous season when she would willingly go after Rhaenyra openly where as now she's alot more willing to stop and think things through a bit more because she has just as much to loose then what Rhaenyra did before the end of the last season where as it's due to the events of that last episode that Rhaenyra is now willing to do whatever it takes with her even willing to gave one of her nephews killed as a form of revenge.

As was to expected there wasn't alot of giving us the audience a hint of what the main plot of this season is going to be moving forward. Which is something that does make sense as the whole show is meant to be building towards what is known in Game Of Thrones history as the dance of dragons however given that that is also the name of an upcoming episode of this season of the show it does make you wonder not only what that episode will be about but also what the plot of the show and the plot of this season will be as so far all evidence does point to the dance of dragons being the big pay off for the series and not something that they'll do half ways through the shows second season but at the same time tho if that isn't the case then why would they nae the episode after that big event when that's something that the whole show should be building towards and is something that makes you wonder what the main plot of this season will be as this season could very easily be building towards the dance of dragons which is something that would work if they are going to be doing the dance of dragons in this season but if not then it does make this season come across as being rather pointless as they'd really be no plot to this season whatsoever.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly fifty eight minuets and three seconds. With this episode having more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that large amount of running time as the episode gives you more then enough plot to get you through the episode but also gives you enough plot twists and cliffhangers to make you want to watch the next episode and all of this is done in well under one hour with the episode also taking the time to catch us up on where the characters are now which is something that they really didn't have to do and yet it's something that they did anyway and while the episode could have done with having a longer running time just to fully explore it's theme's of grief and revenge which do come across as being really half baked despite them being some good ideas and yet at the same time if the episode was just a tad bit longer those themes and ideas could be fully explored but given that this is only the first episode of the season it does make sense that those theme's aren't as fully developed in this episode as there's more episodes yet to come but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a drama show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual drama that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual drama that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really well done. With the best most dramatic and downright scary scene being the scene where two assassins force Helaena to reveal which one is her son so that they kill him which she does and while we rightfully don't get to see the babies death the very fact that the show would even hint at it in the first place really does show you just how extreme this show is willing to go with the episode willing to go to some really dark places with this really being helped by the fact that the acting and the writing in the scene are just so good with actor Phia Saban really turning in a really good performance in that scene as she really does sell you all of the pain and all of the shock that this young mother would be going through and while yes the scene with Rhaenyra seeing the burnt remains of her son and just breaking down is heartbreaking it's the scene where Helaena looses her baby boy that is all the more heartbreaking as it's something that adds to the actual plot of the show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this episode is a great return for this show but at the same time it really does feel like a stereotypical Alan Taylor with really none of the flair and magic that Miguel Sapochnik really would have brought to an episode that's really just like like this one with this episode still being a really good episode in it's own right in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are n this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grad old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Doctor Who: Pyramids Of Mars SPOILER FILLED Review

The thing about doing reviews is that anything can inspire any review that you won't to do take for example this review right here. As the thing that inspired it was oddly enough the latest episode of Doctor Who because of the fact that it features the same villain as in this episode and it's due to that reason that this review will most likely end up being a spoiler filled review just because of the fact that it was hard to come up with an intro for this review without mentioning or even perhaps hinting at the spoiler from the latest episode and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the episode that sees The Doctor battle some Mummies with the episode in question being called simply just "Pyramids Of Mars" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is The Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith find themselves in England 1911 where they have to team up with a professor of archaeology to stop an egyptian god of death from escaping his prison and trying to take over the world. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad with the plot of this episode being a true highlight of just how good the plot of the episodes during the fourth doctors era really were as the plot of this episode does have moments of being really pure brilliant which given that this episode was co-written by Robert Holmes isn't something that all that surprising with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Tom Baker as The Doctor , Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith and Michael Sheard as Laurence Scarman. Also starring in this episode is Dad's Army 1971 film star Bernard Archard as Marcus Scarman , Peter Copley as Dr. Warlock , Michael Bilton as Collins , George Tovey as Ernie Clements , Peter Mayock as Namin , Raiders Of The Lost Ark star Vic Tablian as Ahmed and Gabriel Woolf as Sutekh.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With all of this episodes cast members turning in some really good performances with both Tom and Elisabeth really nailing there characters down perfectly and turning in some really good performances in this episode because of it with the also really being same thing also being true for alot of this episodes cast members as alot of them turning in some really good performances with the true standout performer in this episode really being none other then Elisabeth Sladen who is just phenomenal to watch in this episode with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performances will come out of them naturally which is something that really does raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode. 

This episode really does a good job of showing of just how great of a companion that Sarah Jane Smith really was. As in this episode we get to see her act n her own for a large portion of the episode and heck she even gets to wield a gun and shoot it at something that the villain of this episode wants something which none of the shows companions both before and sense have done with the character even showing alot of spunk and alot of emotion both of which are things that go along way to make her a well rounded character and a companion that is the true definition of the word legendary as those are things that modern Doctor Who companions are afraid to do as they lean to far one way or the other with alot of them either crying at every single chance that they get or just not showing emotion in scenes where there character would actually show emotion for one reason or another and yet in this episode we get to see exactly why Sarah Jane Smith was chosen as The Doctor's companion and why she became The Doctor's true best friend as she willingly helps him out of situations alot of the time even when he doesn't want her to do because of the fact that's what a best friend and in this case a good character would infact do.

This is of course the episode that introduces us to the villain Sutekh who until recently had only made just the one appearance in Doctor Who. With the character being really well well handled in this episode as he does come across against someone who is a genuine threat to The Doctor something which might be carried over to next weeks episode of the show with this episode doing a good job of building up some mystery behind this villain which does make you wonder how this villain got the way that he got but at the same time tho despite this episode making Sutekh a threatening villain what the episode doesn't do is make him an interesting villain as the episode doesn't really give him that much of an interesting plan outside of the stereotypical villain plan of wanting to take over the world and that's really it which isn't something that makes him a good villain as all it does is make blend in with all of the other Doctor Who villains instead of stand out and as a result of that id the fact that this villain does come across as being a rather forgettable villain.

One of the things that this episode gets wrong is the fact that alot of the episode is just really goofy even down to the already cheesy looking effects. Which come across as being even more goofy looking then what they already would have been in the first place as you can just tell that the team didn't have the budget that they really needed to make this episode as could as it could have been as alot of the time you can straight up tell where the actors were told to stop and look out of the effect and it is something that really does take away from the episode as does the fact that the episode really doesn't take advantage of it's time period as outside of the mansion we don't really get see anything from the early nineteenth century and as a result of that is the fact that this episode really could have taken place in any time period and nothing about the plot of the episode would need to be changed as it would all look so similar in the first place and while yes this show was always made cheaply so the effects would always look goofy here there's just something about the effects that make them look even more goofy then what they already would have done in the first place.

The mummies in this episode for the time and budget that this show usually has do look as good as they could have done. However at the same time tho there's a cheesiness about them and how they look that make them look like they fit in with the world of classic Doctor Who and that is something that does make them hard to pull off in modern Doctor Who where they most likely would be done with CGI as the practical designs for the characters do make them look cheesy as you can see on the arms where the costume ends which is something that does take you out of the episode but at the same time tho there's just something about there design that also makes them look creepy as you have no idea what there thinking and that is something that does add a certain something to the episode that makes them look believable and make them look real with this being helped by the fact that the characters do make for some really good henchmen as the characters just do whatever there told to do and have great strength to them so much so that it could be argued makes them alot more of a threat then Sutekh himself who just sits around and does nothing for large portions of the episode.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember this episodes running time even was I do know that for a fact that this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty minuets. With this one episode being four episodes which to this episodes credit is the absolutely perfect amount of episodes for it to last as the episode really doesn't have that much there interms of of plot to really warrant more episodes in order to it justice and it could even be argued that by giving it four episodes was already stretching the storyline a bit thin as the plot was starting to feel a little bit dragged out by the time that episodes rolled around and as a result of that is the fact that while yes this episodes current episode count is the perfect amount of episodes for it to last it also wouldn't have harmed the episode if they cut out at least the last episode just to make the plot of the episode flow alot more better then what it already does in the final cur of the episode but I will admi that this episodes really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episodes was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the problem as alot of this episodes action wasn't all that good either which is understandable as this show never really got given a big budget to do anything all that spectacular from an action point of view and while some of this episodes action does look good with there being some really great model explosions for when a house a being blown up halfway through the story it is still something that looks really cheaply made with this not really being helped by the fact that the explosions adds really does add nothing to the overall plot of the episode and is there just for the effect but the episodes best action happens near the the third act where Sarah Jane shoots at something that Sutekh would really need to help to complete his goal as while yes it is a rather simple thing to do it is something that does add to the story and it really does make Sarah Jane Smith herself look like a really competent companion in the longer run of things in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this episode is a solid episode and a really solid introduction episode to a character who may or may not be all that well handled in next weeks series finale with this episode laying the groundwork for what had the potential to become one of the more well known villains in Doctor Who history in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Scooby-Doo! Ghastly Goals Film Review

When people think of Scooby-Doo media nine times out of ten they'll be thinking about either the TV shows or the movies. Yet very rarely if ever do they think about the direct to DVD  animated specials that the franchise and given that a major football tournament is pretty much about to start this seems like an oddly fitting tie in review to do and so then join me as I review the film that sees Scooby and the gang go to Brazil with the film in question being called simply just "Scooby-Doo! Ghastly Goals" enjoy.

The plot of this film is Scooby and the gang travel to Brazil for a holiday where they discover a creature is haunting big football tournament. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that;s actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that ad as the plot was the kind of plot that you'd expect to find in an episode of any Scooby-Doo show and yet at the exact time it was different enough for it to justify being a special episode of the show and while the plot of this film is really nothing all that special as it is really straight forward it's also not the worst plot that thus special could have had either as on paper this films plot sounds really bad and yet it's actually a really enjoyable plot with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo , Fred Jones and Eshu and Matthew Lillard as Norville "Shaggy" Rogers. Also starring in this film is Mindy Cohn as Velma Dinkley , Grey DeLisle as Daphne Blake , Carlos Alazraqui as A Brazilian Player , Gabriel Iglesias as Professor Eduardo Perez , Andrew Kishino as A Security Guard , Christian Lanz as A Cart Owner , Mina Olivera as Dr. Marla Riganto , Rob Paulsen as Julio Luna and Danny Trejo as Reynaldo.

Now then interms of what I personally thought  felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With all of the cast members that you expect to deliver a good performance really giving us exactly that but that's also the problem as we know what kind of performance that these actors and yet they give us exactly that and nothing new which is something that is fine for this property as these are legacy characters after all but at the same time there still needs to be some change to the performance to make each output feel alot more different from the one that came before and yet with this film just all we're getting is the kind performances that we know and expect from this cast ad that's really it with the acting in this film not really being helped by the fact that the script for this film is just so bad as it gives none of the films cast absolutely nothing to work interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does bring down the overall quality of the acting that's in this film.

Doing the animation for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Dongwoo A&E Co., LTD. Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about thew actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as the animation was alot better then the animation that you'd think it would be getting as this films animation is more then worthy of being in a direct to DVD animated film and is quite easily better then the animation that we got in alot of the TV shows as well and while yes the animation in this film could have been alot better considering that this special was made for a compilation DVD and the fact that alot of Scooby-Doo films don't typically have great animation in them this films animation did turn out alot better then what it really had any to be with all of the characters having some really nice and fluid movements to them as well.

As a mystery this film isn't that good as the mystery itself isn't all that good as one of the main suspects isn't introduced until deep into the third act of the story. Which is far to late to be introducing potential suspects as those are things that should have been done by the mid way point of this special as that then allows for us the audience to gather enough clues to determine if they are the main villain or not and yet this film doesn't do that as the main suspect doesn't get introduced until the film is nearly over by which point it's far to late to be having a character that's this important to the plot of the film being introduced this is not to mention the fact that the film doesn't even give you clues as to who is behind the mask of the main villain with it being pulled out of nowhere which is a sure fire sign that the mystery itself is plain old bad when this something that if it had a bit more effort put into it wouldn't be the case as the bases for a good mystery are there with even the villain and the villain's costume having some really good and creepy designs to them.

This is a story that really should have been the story for a Scooby-Doo movie as the potential is there for this films plot to be a really good plot. Heck the plot of the film itself also oddly feels like it was made for a movie and as a result of that is the fact that it feels odd that the makers of this chose to make this a direct to DVD special when they very easily could have gotten this films story up to feature length just by expanding upon the story and giving us alot more suspects and that's really all they'd have to do and yet they chose not to do that and as a result of that is the fact that this special comes across as being really half baked as alot of what it sets up just doesn't add up to anything and is there just for the sake of being there which makes the whole special feel alot less special where as if this was the plot to a Scooby-Doo movie they could have gone to those weird ad crazy places that the Scooby-Doo direct to DVD movies tend to go to and the movie itself would come across as being alot more fun to watch because of it.

In what was a rather nice bit of character consistency this film does carry on the tradition of Daphne falling in love with anyone to do with sports. Which was a nice surprise and it was a nice bit of attention to detail that the makers of this film really didn't need to include in this film and even tho it doesn't have a pay off in this film it was something that was great to see in this film as it does add a bit of humor between Fred and Daphne with Daphne being in love with quite literally every single football player that she sees and Fred just getting more and more annoyed which is something that could have had a really funny pay off and yet for some reason the makers of this film just drop that running joke without paying it off which makes you wonder why it was even included in the first place as it's something that really does come across being nothing more then filler when the film itself really doesn't need filler as that is a joke that could have led to a really funny payoff near the films climax which would have brought back in a way that felt natural and organic.

Now then this film has / had an exact grad total running time of exactly twenty two minuets and thirty three seconds. Which is a solid running time for this film to have as the film does more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that amount of running time and yet at the same time tho this film really could have done with being a bit longer as that would allow the story to become more fleshed out and it would also allow the film to develop it's mystery angle alot more then what it is in the final cut of the film and as a result of that is the fact that the film would come across as being alot more better then what it is because as it is right now the mystery angle isn't as fully developed as it really should have been and the films new characters aren't as fully developed as they really should have been either with them not even being that memorable all of which are things that would be fixed if the film was given a feature length running time but i will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is comedy film that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the problem as the comedy that's in this film wasn't all that good either as the jokes that we get in this film feel oddly watered down jokes then the ones that we would get in both the various Scooby-Doo TV shows and in the various Scooby-Doo direct to DVD animated movies with the jokes in this film coming across as the writer of this film trying to come up with something funny without realising that they already had something that was really funny with Fred and Daphne that they just drop with the films only running joke being not that funny and yet they for some strange reason decide to carry on the joke in question with the joke being that whenever someone pronounces the monsters name Eshu someone says gazuntite which just really isn't all that funny in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a solid special but it's one that's rather limited by it's very small running time as it had all of the potential to be a good feature length movie and yet due to it's really small running time the film can't reach it's full potential and it really does suffer because of that fact in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good ad as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Kaiju No. 8 TV Series "The Man Who Became A Kaiju" Dubbed Review

The Japanese and Kaiju are two words that just go together perfectly with the land of the rising sun having created several popular Kaiju in the past. However very few times have they created a Kaiju based anime and yet in the year of 2024 that's exactly what we got with an anime TV series being based around destroying kaiju still airing on TV screens across the glove and so then join me as I review the episode that is alot more comical then what it really should have been with the episode in question being called simply just "The Man Who Became A Kaiju" enjoy.

The plot of the episode is a disgruntled cleaner who has to clean up the city after every single Kaiju attack finds himself having to save the life of a new colleague when the two discover something that could change there very lives forever. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / resented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as the plot of the episode does a good job of setting up the tone and feel for the rest of the show whilst also not taking itself all that seriously but at the same time tho the plot of this episode wasn't as good as it really could have been as it's a plot that really is just wafer thin at best which does make sense as this is only the first of the episode but at the same time that's all the more reason to have a much more stronger debut plot as this is the first chance that people are getting to see your work with the plot plot of the episode also being really entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. 

Starring in this episode is Adam McArthur as Reno Ichikawa , Nazeeh Tarsha as Kafka Hibino and Ben Stegmair as Iharu Furuhashi. Also starring in this episode is Katelyn Barr as Mina Ashiro , Nasim Benelkour as Hiroto Mori , Matthew Elkins as Ichitaka Mitsuike , Michael Stimac as Masahide "Toku" Tokuda and anime voice acting legend Attack On Titan , A Certain Magical Index and Blood-C star Alexis Tipton as Young Kafka.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As all of the dub actors really do turn in some really good performances in this episode with all of them really nailing there characters on the first go which is a very hard thing to do and yet this episodes cast seem to do perfectly with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the shows cast are really well cast with all of them having voices that seem to fit there respective characters almost perfectly and while yes some better more established voiced might have done a better job in certain roles this voice cast on the other hand are mostly unknowns which makes it easier to buy into the characters with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for the episode is just so good that all this episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good which given who is doing the animation for this show and for this episode really isn't all that surprising as Production I.G do usually do some fantastic animation in all of there output and the same thing is true fo this film but on the flip side of that is that while the 2D animation does look it's the 3DCGI animation that does look a little off as the 3D animation looks like it came out of the nineties but while the episode wisely doesn't use CGI all that much when they do use it however it really does stand out because of how bad the CGI in this episode really is with the shows 2D animation looking alot better then the CGI animation that's in this episode.

As a kaiju show this episode does far really good as it it does show us alot of the damage that the kaiju can do. With us getting the chance to see something that we really haven't seen since the 1954 Kaiju movie Gojira and that's to show us how the normal everyday person is effected after a Kaiju attack as Kafka's whole job involves dealing with the mess that just one Kaiju attack does to the city and that does give the show a unique hook and while the episode does rather rightfully go into alot of detail as to how that works what it doesn't show us is how people go back to work the day after a monster attack as that is something that would affect alot of people and it doesn't really get the chance to show us how the people of this unnamed city have adapted to having monster attacks happen fr years at this point and as a result of that is that while the show does have a unique idea and a unique hook to it the world that the show takes place in does feel rather undercooked but this is understandable as this is only the shows first episode but it is something that is still an issue tho.

This show is alot more comedic then what it really should as while yes this show is comedy and the comedy in this episode is really good. They also make jokes at times when they really shouldn't do which is something that does undercut the tension of the scene not to mention the fact that when you think of a show about Kaiju you don't usually think of something that's a comedy and in that regard the show does stand out as this is something that you wouldn't expect a Kaiju show or movie to be and yet it's something that doesn't really work for this show nor this sub-genre as when your in a Kaiju show you should be treating it as if it's happening in real life and acting as if it's happening to you in real life and while yes alot of the Godzilla movies do have jokes in them there not that often and most certainly not as often as they happen in this episode however with that being said the comedy in this episode does break the tension alot of the time and when we do get a good joke it can be really but we also get alot of painfully unfunny jokes with one of those being not one but two fart jokes both of which are painfully unfunny and really aren't needed in this episode. 

This episode does spend alot of time with Kafka which again does make alot of sense as he's the shows main character but at the same timer tho by doing that it also means that none of the shows main characters can get time to show us some of there personality. Like with Reno for example even tho he does get alot of screen time in this episode we don't get a chance to get an idea of what it is that his personality is even meant to be in the first and it's the same thing with Mina Ashiro as even tho we get to see both her Kafka as childhood best friends she doesn't get alot of screen time in this episode and thus really doesn't get the chance to show us what her personality is and while that might not be the case in the manga it is something that happens in the anime as the anime is more focused on setting up Kafka which does make sense but it's done by taking screen time away from the other main characters when the episode should have been setting up all three main characters and setting up there goals for the series ad yet this episode really doesn't do that in any way whatsoever.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty three minuets and forty seconds. Which is both the perfect running time for this episode to have and yet at the exact same time it's also oddly short for what this episode really should have been as the episode really does have more then enough plot to really cover that amount of running time but at the same time this episode really should have been a little longer as by giving the episode a slightly longer running time it would allow more of the shows main characters to get more of what it is that there personalities are meant to be and it would allow for us the audience to see just how this world works not only during a Kaiju attack but also after a giant Kaiju has already attacked the city as that is something that wouldn't effect the plot of the episode and it's something that would add to the overall worldbuilding of the show itself and would thus make the show itself seem better but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I gave to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the problem as the action that's un this episode also isn't all that good either as the episode puts alot more focus into giving us some decent comedy that it does into giving us some really creative looking action scenes when the balance should be more fifty fifty and not forty sixty like it is in this very episode and while yes we do get to see some really very good action scenes and some really cool moments in those action scenes alot of the action in this episode just feels really very flat and boring with nothing all that much exciting actually happening in this episode action wise outside of one or two moments which really isn't enough as the action should be on par and treated equally with the comedy with not one of them being treated better then the other one in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this show does have the potential to be a really good show which might happen in the shows following two episodes this first episode really isn't the best episode to really start this show of on as it really doesn't give you a reason to really tune in and watch episode two of this show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very show and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10m from me.
