Bottom: Smells Review

Britain is home to many comedies many of which get butchered when there remade in America however there is one comedy that the Americans will never dare to touch. Due to the rather adult nature of the show with this show being more adult and more extreme then South Park and more violent then a Tom And Jerry cartoon and it's the first episode of that very show that i'm about to review for you all today and so then join me as I review the episode that introduced the world to the worlds most violent flatmates with the episode n question being called simply just "Smells" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is fed up with noy having girlfriends flatmates Richie and Eddie find out about a spray to help them attract woman. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as it was a rather simple plot which is kind of the norm not only for this show but for all sitcoms in general and to this episodes credit it doesn't really need a decent plot to get viewers interested as in this case having a simple plot means that the episode can have alot more jokes and world play in it something that just wouldn't be possible if the plot of the episode was a super deep plot ad by having an plot that's rather simple and rather easy to follow along with as well it allows the shows main characters to just be there anarchic selfs as well with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is the episodes co-writer and the shows co-creator Rik Mayall as Richard "Richie" Richard. Also starring in this episode is the episodes co-writer and the shows co-creator Adrian Edmondson as Edward "Eddie" Elizabeth Hitler , Lee Cornes as Richard Head , Clive Mantle as Angry Man , Harriett Thorpe as Angry Man's Wife , Cindy Shelley as Kate , Carla Mendocina as Jenny and Kevin McNally as The Shop Manager.

Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As alot of this episodes actors do indeed turn in some really good performances which couldn't have been easy as this was the first episode filmed for the series proper and as a result of that is the fact that the series leads wouldn't have been able to have gotten a good handle on there characters just yet and yet they still manage to turn in a good performance in this episode with the same thing also being true for all of the episode guest cast as well as all of the episodes cast members do manage to turn a good performance with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes actors really have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

One of the things that makes this episodes from alot of other first episodes out there is the fact that it really doesn't tell you all that much about the main characters. As you can tell everything about the characters not only by how they act to each other but also by how badly kept that there flat is as there flat is pretty much a health hazard just waiting to happening which tells us the audience that they are slobs and don't typically care about how things are kept and heck even Richie himself admits to only owning one pair of underwear and that's it which yes is a funny idea but at the same time it also tells us that he doesn't care about his own hygiene as well and you can tell that even tho that even tho they can get really violent with each other both Eddie and Richie do care about each other even if they wouldn't admit it to each other which does make there relationship seem sweet and caring as they have each other to keep each other company even tho they can barely stand to be around each other at the best of times and while Richie is a slob and loser Eddie is constantly drunk with him starting one drink mere minuets after finishing another with him barely being sober.

To be frank this episode and this show is very adult and is NOT for the easily offended as there are things even in this episode that will offend some people. Which is something that's apart of the anti-comedy nature of this show as comedy is meant to push boundaries between what is and isn't acceptable and what is isn't in good taste and while yes there are lot of things that are in this very episode that could be seen as being in bad taste from certain people other people will see those exact same things and see them as being in good taste and this is something that the shows writers and creators Adrian Edmondson and Rik Mayall did really well as alot of the shows that they worked on pushed the boundaries of good taste in comedy and as a result of that is that none of there shows this one included wouldn't be made today because everybody is so easily offended by anyone and heck there's a good chance that someone will be offended by this review as that's how easily offended people are today with this episode having alot of mature things in it so much so that i've had to edit the name of a character , what kind of shop Kevin McNally's character is a manager of and one of the images just to make sure then this review can get seen by people as that's just how adult and how mature this episode and this show really is and it's all of those things that means that this episode wouldn't be made today due to how adult and mature that this episode and it's content are.

It's not hard to see why this show became a hit show that managed to spawn three series , five stage shows and a feature length film. Since even in this episode alone you can see that it has all of the markings of being a really good show as it has characters that your not meant to like as Richie and Eddie aren't likable characters yet over the course of the show you do grow to like these characters and it has some rather simple plot lines and while alot of the plots lines are still relevant today like the plot of this episode for example alot of them do come across as being dated but for this episode we do get alot of great moments with these characters all of which are more then enough to make you wince , cry and laugh out loud as this show has at the very least one laugh out loud moment per episode with this one really having several per scene and heck even the very idea of the episode is one that alot of people might like as it happened to them this episode really isn't for anyone as even the opening joke might offend some people and yet it's that opening scene that really does let you know right away what kind of show that this show really is.

Even tho this episode does have alot of positive thing it does have some negative things as well like the fact that the main plot of the episode doesn't come to a natural conclusion it just ends with no resolution to it. Which is something that is typical for British sitcoms as alot of them just end instead of having a beginning , a middle and an end but even so this is show that's none for being rebellious and fordoing things that other comedies just wouldn't do and yet by not having a conclusion to it's story it's doing the exact thing that other shows are doing thus it's not rebelling against them rather it's just copying and pasting what there doing only this show has adult jokes in it and that's really it and while the main characters of this show are meant to be unlikable characters this is something that could also be seen as a bad thing as the episode doesn't really leave us with any likable characters and as a result of that i the fact that we the audience have no characters that we can route for other then the two characters that we've seen aren't that good people and that's really it.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty nine minuets and twenty six seconds. Which is a solid running time for this episode to have but at the same time this episode really didn't need to be as along as it was as this episode really doesn't have alot there interms of plot with the episode having alot of scenes very early that while they do indeed serve the purpose of setting up Richie and Eddie as characters they add nothing to the overall plot of the episode which does make it hard for them to cut those scenes as while they do feel like filler scenes there also scenes that tell us who these characters are as people and would thus be needed in the long run if anything the only way to fix this episode would be to not fix it as this episode is as good as it's ever going to get and as a result of that is that you either except it and except the episode as it is or you just go back to the development stage and start over but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With alot of this episodes jokes being really painfully funny with this episode and this show making great use of the fact that both characters really over do it with the physical violence all of which is painfully funny in this episode as even tho it's not as extreme as it would get in future episodes it is still some pretty extreme violence but that's not the only type of joke that we get in this episode as we do get alot of self deprecating humor as well which can be very hit and miss and we also get alot of straight forward jokes as well with all of those jokes in this episode being some really funny jokes and alot of which are the types of jokes that you wouldn't expect to see in comedies these days as alot of them are some jokes that would push the boundaries as bit with the same thing also being said for the violence that's in this episode as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this episode is a really funny episode but like alot of the episodes of this show it's not one that's for the easily offended but if your not one of those people then you really should look this show up and watch it as this episode really is just that good and it's something that you won't regret doing either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official The Bottom fandom wiki page , Wikipedia and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the really great Google Images simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode and are really of course on Google Images are also really all fairly high in quality and really as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian" And "So Much For Childhood Friends" Review

There are some anime that are easy to an intro for as there's so much to say about them and then there's this anime where it's hard just trying to do an intro for it. As there's really nothing in this anime's first two episodes that really stand out apart from the fact that the main female character not only isn't all that likable but also speak Russian from time and so then join me as I review the first two episodes of the show that has an episode that's also the name of the show with the episodes in question being called simply just "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian" and "So Much For Childhood Friends" enjoy.

The plot of these first two episodes it the first thing that's wrong with both of these episodes as neither have any kind of pot whatsoever. While yes granted the second episodes does have somewhat of a loose plot with the characters going clothes shopping that's really it and even then that very loose plot isn't enough to sustain an entire twenty two minuet episode and as a result of that is the fact that while episode two does come of slightly better just on the mere fact that it has a plot episode one has no plot to speak with that episode really being the one that really did need a plot as it had so many things to set up like the characters , the world and the plot of the show and while ti did do all of those things it forgot to do the most important thing and that's have a story in it and as a result of that is the fact that the episode really does feel aimless and rather pointless as well where as with episode two it at least does have sone sort of a plot with the plot also being really entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in y freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these episodes is Aaron Dismuke as Masachika Kuze and Pokemon star and voice acting legend Sarah Natochenny as Alisa "Alya" Mikhailovna Kujo. Also starring in these episodes is Corey Wilder as Takeshi Maruyama , Joshua Waters as Hikaru Kiyomiya , Jill Harris as Mariya "Masha" Mikhailovna Kujo , The Fruit Of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made star Reshel Mae as Yuki Suou and Izzi Raine as Sayaka Taniyama.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the problem as the acting that's in these very episodes wasn't all that good either not because of the quality of the voice actors but because of the fact that this shows voice director Shawn Gann really doesn't know how to get a good performance out of his cast and as a result of that is the fact that these episodes actors really do come across as being lost and really unsure of what kind of performance to really give with the acting in these episodes not really being helped by the fact that the scripts for both of these episodes is just so bad as it gives these episodes actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does hurt the overall quality of the acting that's in these very episodes.

Doing the animation for these episodes is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Doga Kobo. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad as the character do have some really nice and fluid movements to them but at the same time the backgrounds just look really flat and uninteresting and while the character designs do look good and look like they fit in with the world that this show takes place in they just look like the typical anime designs that you'd expect to see in a slice of life show like this one and while the animation as was said does look good it could have been so much better and while this might be due to budget constraints there really could have been alot more effort put into the animation that's in these episodes.

These two episodes do introduce the mystery of who the young girl is in the episodes flashback scenes which does work. As it seems like the little girl is going to be playing an important part of the show and the shows plot and with that in mind it does make sense that that character would be introduced in the first episode of the show as it lets us the audience know that Masachika does know some Russian which is an important aspect of the shows first episode but at the same time tho the flashback scenes could have been a bit longer as those are some of the best scenes in both episodes as it's something that does add a layer of mystery to the show something which would be missing if those scenes were cut from both episodes and even the animation in those scenes is alot better then the animation in the present day scenes as well which makes it look like that the makers of this show put alot more effort into those flashback scenes and care more about those flashback scenes then they do about the scenes that are set in the present day.

For some strange reason these first two episodes really go out of there way into making Alya a really unlikable character. As all she does is bring down everybody around her for no reason even tho they all like her and while this wouldn't be an issue if she was a side character as then you at the very least have the main character to keep your focus but as she's the main character then it is a huge problem as she's the character that your meant to like and while her being unlikable might be the point as it's stated in episode two that she really doesn't have any friends it's still something that doesn't fix the issue of her being an unlikable character and it's something that makes you wonder why alot of people like her and at the very least try to be friendly to her when she's anything but friendly to them and heck the only likable character in both of these episodes is oddly enough Yuki Suou and even then she has scenes that make her come across as a fairly unlikable character especially in the shows second episode which granted does go along way into making Alya a somewhat more likable character you only get one chance to make a good first impression and sadly episode one didn't make that good of a first impression with Aly coming across as an extremely unlikeable character.

For some reason this series is getting really high scores on MyAnimeList with it so far having a score from them of a 8.12 and being ranked at 477. While this show has only aired a few episodes and as a result of that is the fact that the rating and raking for the show could drop the show has also been getting from romantic comedy fans on MyAnimeList and it's hard to see why as this show isn't that good with it being predictable from a romance point of view as you can tell right away who is going to end up with and what will be the main third act break up as they just straight up tell you what that will be as it turns out that Masachika can speak some Russian something that his love interest Alya doesn't know and speaks some sentences in Russian when she wants to speak her true feeling s which you just know is going to cause a rift between them and cause them to hate each other around episode ten as Masachika doesn't tell Alya that he can understand everything that she's saying which makes it painfully obvious that this is a  basically a lier revealed type of story as well as being a romantic comedy show as well.

Now then episode one of this show has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty four minuets and forty seconds and episode two has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty four minuets and forty seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for this show and while both episodes really don't have alot there interms of plot to really over that amount of running time they so easily could have done if episode one actually had a plot and if episode two focused and expanded upon it's shopping plot instead of just starting that plot when the episode is about half way done as there is alot of potential in both of these episodes for both of these episodes to be some really fun episodes both of which are let down due to the fact that both episodes really don't take full advantage of there respective running time as neither episode develops there characters nor gives us the audience the chance to get to know these characters either which does make it hard for us to care for those characters as the episodes don't take the time to give to give us a reason a to care for any of its characters but I will admit that both of these episodes really do have some really good pacing to them tho.

So now then as this is comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty i in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all not that bad. Even tho alot of the jokes in both of these episodes was basically the kind of jokes that you would find in shows like High School DXD and that's really it which us fine if you like those jokes where a girl beats up a the main male character just for looking at her underwear but at the same time when that's the only joke in both of these episodes it is something that gets old fast and it makes you wonder where the rest of the jokes from these first two episodes are as there's nothing that's all that funny in both of these episodes and while yes there are a few different joke in these episodes especially in the first episode they are very few and far between but when the episode does indeed tell a different joke it can be a good joke not because it's something that's genuinely funny but rather it's because it's something that's totally different from the types of jokes that we had been getting up until that point which makes you wonder why these episodes didn't have alot of different jokes as that's when both of these episodes are at there absolutely best in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while both of these episodes do have potential and whole this show does have some really good potential to be a really good show neither one of these first two episodes do the show justice and while the shows second episode is a little bit purely because of the fact that it has somewhat of a plot it's still not that good of an episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in these very episodes in this very review and as such that means that both of these episodes really do earn themselves a combined grand old total score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally sued in this very review from the official Roshidere fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the really great the official Roshidere fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from these very episodes and are really of course on the official Roshidere fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and really as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Batman "The Last Laugh" Review

The Batman character has been in alot of animated shows and movies for many decades with Batman: The Animated Series being without a shadow of a doubt his most famous animated outing. With the caped crusader due to return in animated form this Thursday in Amazon Primes Batman: Caped Crusader now was the absolutely right time to take another look at an episode from this truly wonderful show and so then join me as I review that see's Alfred fight for his sanity with the episode in question being called simply just "The Last Laugh" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when The Joker gases most of Gotham in his Joker gas it's up to Batman to stop the clown prince of crime before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the problem as the plot of this episode wasn't all that good either with the plot of this episode being best described as being OK at best which is of no fault of the makers of show as there's no way that you could make a plot this ridiculous that good and to this episodes credit it knows that it's not a good episode and really leans into it but at the same from this show you do expect better plots and not plots that feel like that they belong im a show that's made with little kids in mind with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is voice acting legend Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne / Batman and Star Wars and voice acting legend Mark Hamill as Joker. Also starring in this episode is Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as Alfred Pennyworth , Bob Hastings as A Driver and Joker's Unnamed Henchman , Mari Devon as Summer Gleeson Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles legend Pat Fraley as Jest and Richard Moll as The Batcomputer.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. Which is something that really isn't new for this show as this show has always had some really good acting in it but at the same time the acting that's in this episode isn't really as good as the acting that's in other episodes from this show as while yes the actors that are in this episode do indeed turn in some solid performances they don't turn as good of a performance that we the audience really know that they can do and the episode does suffer because of it of how OK at best that this episodes acting really is with the acting not really being helped by the episodes script as this episodes script really doesn't give the actors in this episode alot of work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does hurt the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Akom Production CO.. Now then interms of what I personally thought  felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us un this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good and was more then up to the already high standard of animation that this show already has with this episodes animation being one of the best things about this episode as that's just how good this episodes animation is with the episode having some really good looking backgrounds that really do look like a piece of art as they look that really good with all of the characters in this episode also having some really good looking and fluid movements to them as well and as a result of that is the fact that the animation in this episode really does look like that it belongs in a feature length film as it looks really that good and more then holds up all of these later and is better then alot of modern animation that we get in TV shows today.

This episode straight up does a plot line that was copied poorly by the dreadful Batman & Robin as in this episode Alfred accidently gets hit with some of The Joker's gas and the Batman has to save him. Where as in Batman & Robin Alfred just so happens to have the same illness that killed Mr. Freezes wife and Batman has to save him before he dies this plot line is done so much better in this episode as it's something that's done completely by accident as there's no way that The Joker would have known that Alfred was there cleaning in the first place when he just could have been going after Bruce Wayne where in Batman & Robin it feels a bit contrived that Alfred just so happens to have this illness that was never mentioned nor even hinted at before now and it just so happens to be the exact same one that that films villain's wife had which just seems to much like a coincidence where as here it does seem like a genuine accident and where as this film mostly plays it laughs which does work for this episode Batman & Robin has it tie into the fact that Alfred is a father figure to Bruce Wayne which is a solid way to do a plot line like this.

This is more of a light hearted episode which does make sense given that the main theme of this episode is Batman learning to take a joke and smile and the fact that this episode is set on April Fools Day. With this episode really taking full advantage of the fact that it's more of a lighthearted episode with both Bruce and Alfred cracking jokes at points in the episode and while this does make alot of sense given when this episode is set it does feel out of place as while out of this episode and the christmas themed episode "Christmas With The Joker" this one was the first one to make it to air and while having a more lighthearted episode like this one does indeed work given that this was still very early on in the shows run given that it was the fourteenth episode to be produced and fifteenth episode to air it does seem odd that the makers of this show would go for a more lighter episode when they still have forty other episodes to make up it's first season and as a result of that is the fact that this episode should have been further on down in the airing order just to allow this version of the caped crusader to become more fully established and while the episode does have some decent jokes in it with Batman smiling at the thought of killing off The Joker for good being a painfully funny joke it's still something that doesn't really save this episode.

The Joker in this episode really was the true star of this episode as he rather rightfully does have a funny crime that is only funny to him. With the idea of making everyone laugh until there driven insane is only something thar he would do and it's only something that only he would find funny and because of that is the fact that he does come across as being all the more creepy because of it as now he has this weapon that has no known cure to it and is just there just to give him a laugh and to cause who ever he is using it on pain and misery with this episode really being helped by the fact that The Joker doesn't have an end goal and while this would usually be a bad thing in this episode and for this character it is something that really does work as in "The Dark Knight" The Joker himself states that he's just a dog chasing a car he and that he wouldn't know what to di if he caught it and it's the same thing here as really all he's doing is causing chaos really just for the sake of causing chaos and while yes there is something about the stock market going down the drain because of The Joker's action while The Joker himself really does nothing with that knowledge as he really just stands there and smiles as chaos unfolds on the streets of Gotham and all around him.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty two minuets and thirty one seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running time for this show and to this episodes credit this episode really does have the right amount of plot to really cover that amount of running time and while this episode doesn't take as full advantage of that running time as we don't get to see how Alfred getting infected with the laughing gas affects Bruce Wayne which would have been interesting to see which is something that Batman & Robin really does get quite alot of credit for doing it is understandable why they didn't go down that route in this episode as the episode doesn't have alot there interms of running time in the first place and as a result of that is really something like showing Bruce Wayne react in someway to the possibility of losing his father figure really wouldn't be included in the final cut of the episode as it adds nothing to the overall plot of the episode and would have felt like filler in the grand scheme of things and yet by removing a scene like that the episode also oddly feels incomplete like there's just something missing that really would have made the episode feel better then what it actually was but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the problem as this action that's in this episode isn't all that good either with this mainly due to the fact that the episode is alot more light hearted in more lighter in tone and as result of that is the fact that the episode really can't deliver all of the top notch action that the show really does usually deliver with the only tense moment in this episode action wise being one Batman swings over some fire to get to The Joker on the other side side and that's really it and while there are some good fights in this episode that all just lack that extra something that keeps them from being truly great fight scenes with them coming across as being rather watered down action scenes due to the episode more lighter tone and not something that's consistent with the rest of the show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this isn't the shows best episode mostly due to the episode more lighter tone it does also have some really good aspects going for it like The Joker being really true to his character for example but those good things don't stop the episode from being nothing more then a really average episode at best in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode that are in this very episode and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in his very review from the official Batman: Caped Crusader fandom wiki page , the official Batman: The Animated Series fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the really great the official Batman: The Animated Series fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from these very episodes and are really of course on the official Batman: The Animated Series fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

The Addams Family "Girlfriendstein" , "Pugsley By The Numbers" AND "Beware Of Thing" Review

It's been almost two years to the day since anything from the nineties The Addams Family animated series was last talked about. Well that is something that comes to an end today as this is show that should be talked about as it was the last time that the characters would be featured in the world of animation for really over twenty years with the episode that i'm going to be talking about today being the first episode of this show to have three segments per episode and so then join me as I review the episode that has multiple segments in it with the segments in question being called simply just "Girlfriendstein" , "Pugsley By The Numbers" AND "Beware Of Thing" enjoy.

The plot of "Girlfriendstein" is when Lurch is dumped by his girlfriend it's up to the family to come together and try and cheer him up where as in "Pugsley By The Numbers" Wednesday paint numerous Pugsleys in an attempt to find the perfect Pugsley and in "Beware Of Thing" Thing has to guard to the family safe from a pair of twin spies intent on stealing the families vast fortune. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought that / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad with "Girlfriendstein" easily being the stronger of all three plots as while the other two plots are indeed decent plots there not not as good as the plot of the first segment was as the plot of that first segment was a really fun and cooky plot that showed off just how loving this family is where as the other plots were just dull and felt like filler with the plots also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is The Addams Family legend John Astin as Gomez Addams and voice acting legend Jim Cummings as Lurch and The Twin Spies. Also starring in this episode is Debi Derryberry as Wednesday Addams , Jeannie Elias as Pugsley Addams , Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star Pat Fraley as Cousin Itt , The Social Network star Nancy Linari as Morticia Addams and Rip Taylor as Uncle Fester.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that;s actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With all of this episodes cast members really do turn in some really good performances in this episode which really isn't all that surprising as in the case of John Astin is reprising his role from the original 1964 The Addams Family series and would there for no how his character would act in any given situation and the fact that the show does have a couple of voicing legends in Jim Cummings and Pat Fraley are really good actors in there own right and of course they would turn in some good performances in this episode with the same thing also being true for alot of this episode cast as well with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the scripts for these segments are so good that all this episodes cast have to do is simply say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the really greats that are currently over at Fil-Cartoons.Now then  interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good as the episode does have alot better animation in it then what is really needed with the episode in "Pugsley By The Numbers" being a good example of just how good this episodes animation is as the people making this show came up with lots of unique designs for Pugsley and yet each one of them feel perfect for that version of the character with the backgrounds in all three segments looking fantastic with them all having a rather creepy vibe to them which is perfect for the The Addams Family with "Beware Of Thing" being the weakest segment animation wise just because of the fact that the makers of that episode don't really do anything that's all that interesting animation with the opposite being true for the other segments in this episode.

This is the first episode of this show to be made of multiple segments which is really something that really doesn't work for this episode. As that idea of having multiple segments to make up one full length episode is only something that works for a show that doesn't have that well known characters in them and having multiple segments allows the shows main cast of characters to get more well known to the shows audience and yet here because the characters are so well known either thanks to the original show or thanks to the nineties live action films that having multiple segments really doesn't work and infact does more harm to an episode as it means that none of the episodes plots have the time that they need to be fully developed and while both "Pugsley By The Numbers" and "Beware Of Thing" aren't good enough to support a full length episode on there own "Girlfriendstein" is and yet because it has two other segments to squeeze in it means that the better of the three segments has to be rushed when if it was a full length episode it would have been a better episode with this just going to show that having multiple segments per-episodes does more harm to it then it does good.

All three segments do have some really good idea to them like the idea of Morticia having paints that literally bring things to life is a good idea. As is the fact that Thing alone is the only one that has to protect the families entire fortune even tho they have man eating plants and keep wild animals as pets both of those are a bunch if good ideas is the fact that the episodes continues the long running joke of Lurch being a sort of ladies man but the episode doesn't really fully explore any of those ideas for no reason and while yes the idea of Morticia having paints that brings to life is a main part of "Pugsley By The Numbers" it's not an idea that isn't fully explored all that well with the same thing being true with lot of the ideas that are in this episode with this being because of the fact that again the episode has two other segments to squeeze in and while the idea of Thing being the only one that has to protect the families fortune is a good idea it falls apart the second the start to question it even once and heck one of the first things that Thing does when The Spies try to break in is use the family Octopus to scare them off which only makes you wonder the family don't use say Kitty Kat for example who is a full grown lion as that would have been more then enough to scare them of for good.

Both "Girlfriendstein" and "Pugsley By The Numbers" do a really good job of showing just how good this family is as a unit. As the second that they find out that Lurch has been dumbed by his girlfriend they go to extreme lengths to cheer him up even having Uncle Fester build him a girlfriend robot and when Wednesday realises that the perfect version of Pugsley is the original one they both come together to get rid of the three painted versions of him that Wednesday painted to replace him both of which are things that a family wouldn't do if they didn't care for each other as much as The Addams Family do and while this episode by far isn't the best episode to showcase how strong they are as a unit as that honor will always go to both the very first episode of the 1964 series and the episode "Christmas With The Addams Family" from the same show this episode does do a good job of reminding old school lovers of this family that they really do care for each other and that they really do love each other despite all of the terrible things that they do to each other.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty two minuets and fifty two seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running time for this show to have and while each of the segments do have more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that amount of running time the first segment "Girlfriendstein" really could have been a full length episode on it's own as plot wise that's the strongest segment and it's one that really wouldn't require any amount of filler scenes in order to fully pad out it's running time where as the remaining two segments would require some filler to to reach that twenty two minuet running time and those would be things that would bring down the overall episode and yet with "Girlfriendstein" the only thing that you'd need to do for the episode is just expand the plot of the episode and that's really it and while the running time of this episode is also decent it also means that all three segments have very uneven running times with "Girlfriendstein" being around eleven minuets long "Pugsley By The Numbers" is around five minuets long and "Beware Of Thing" is the shortest at around three minuets long which really does harm all three segments but I really will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is acomedy that means that I ave to actuallly talk abouyt the actual comedy that's actually featured / orsented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featueed / pressented to us in this very epusode was in all honesty not that bad. With "Girlfriendstein" having alot of really funny moments in it alot of which just so happen involve Uncle Fester who is just a funny character in this show and while yes the other two segments do have some funny moments in them as well with the idea of Lurch laying under a rock several times just so Wednesday can do a painting is a good and funny idea none of them are going to top the franchises long running joke of Lurch being some sort of ladies man which is just a funny idea and it's one that will always be funny as it;s joke that only the The Addams Family could do and while "Beware Of Thing" is basically just Home Alone but with The Addams Family and that's really it nothing that Thing does is all that funny even when he had the chance to do something funny when he's forced to open the safe he doesn't do anything that will put the spies of and make them run away which just seems like a waste of a good set with alot of the jokes in "Beware Of Thing" not really hitting all that well either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a decent episode some decent segments some of which are weaker then others but all three really do go to show you that no matter the medium be it live action or animation this franchise really can thrive if they have the right team working behind them in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very really does earn itself a grand old combined score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review ell then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the mages that I personally used in this very review from the official The Addams Family fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to really use to get the images from this very episode that I really used in this very post being the really great the official The Addams Family fandom wiki page simply just because of the fact that really due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are in this post really are all really from this very episode and are really of course up and really on the really great the official The Addams Family fandom wiki page are really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

My SPOILER FILLED First Impressions Of The Kite Man: Hell Yeah! TV Series

Harley Quinn was a TV show that really did catch every body off guard with just how good that it was and as a result of that is the fact that it wasn't all that surprising when it was announced that the show would be getting a spin-off. With that spin-off focusing on both Kite Man and Golden Glider well now then the show has finally dropped it's first two episodes and well you all just knew that I had to check this show the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED FILLED first impressions of the show that let's be honest here alot of us forgot was even a thing with the episode in question being called simply just "Kite Man: Hell Yeah!" enjoy.

The plot of this show is when Kite Man and Golden Glider buy there favorite bar they discover that it's alot more harder to run a bar then either of them first thought that it would be. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these first two episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these first twp episodes was in all honesty not that bad as it was a plot that was rather refreshing to see play out and while yes the above plot summery is of the shows overall plot each of the first two episodes do have there own unique plot with the plot of episode one revolving around the dup raising the money to buy the bar and the plot of episode two revolving around the grand-reopening of the bar and it's the plot of episode that was better plot as while episode ones plot was the stronger of the two episodes it's episodes two plot that was the more fun of the two episodes with the plot of this show also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this show is Matt Oberg as Charles "Chuck" Brown / Kite Man and Stephanie Hsu as Lisa Snart / Golden Glider and Stephanie Brown / Spoiler. Also starring in this show is James Adomian as Bane , Jonathan Banks as Noonan , Lance Reddick as Lex Luthor , Michael Imperioli as Joe and Moe Dubelz , Natasia Demetriou as Malice Vundabar , Judith Light as Helen Villigan , Janelle James as Queen Of Fables , Rory Scovel as Gus The Goon , Keith David as Darkseid , Maria Bamford as Baby Doll , Phil LaMarr as Detective Chimp , DeSaad and Black Manta and Andy Daly as Darryl Brown and Sinestro , Dee Bradley Baker as Chessure , Jim Rash as The Riddler and Tisha Campbell as Tawny Young.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us n these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad. As all of the actors that appear in these first two episodes are a bunch of really good actors and do know how to turn in some really good performances with this really being helped by the fact that alot of this shows actors are reprising their roles from the Harley Quinn animated series and as a result of that is the fact that they really would know what kind of performance really would best suit there respective characters in any given situation with the acting in both of these episodes really being helped by the fact that the scripts for both of thee episodes really are just so good that all these episodes actors have to do is simply just so the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to really raise the overall quality of the acting in that's in these first two episodes.

Doing the animation for these first two episodes is the legenda and the greats that are currently over at Digital Emation. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty really good with the animation in both of these episodes being just as good as the animation that we got in Harley Quinn and yet at the same time being different enough and better then the animation in Harley Quinn due to the fact that the team have had more experience working on these characters and as a result of that is the fact that we get two episodes that both have some really good animation in both of them with there being such a high level of care and attention in both of these episodes from an animation standpoint that it makes the whole show look good with all of the characters having some really nice and fluid movements to them as well.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

For those of you that are wondering there are two names that have been left of the cast list for these episodes with those names being Lake Bell as Poison Ivy and Barbara Ann Minerva / The Cheetah and one of this shows executive producers Kaley Cuoco as Dr. Harleen Quinzel / Harley Quinn. While these two appearing in the first episode of this show does make sense as it ties it into the Harley Quinn show both Harley and Ivy are basically there just in a cameo role only as they appear n the first episode and play no part in that episodes plot and heck the episode doesn't even explain why there not going to in this show at all as while they do yes mention them having just brought a new holiday home they never say if there going to be at that home or not with the characters in the first episode basically just being there to pass the torch off onto these other characters which is a solid way for these characters but at the same time tho these characters are so popular together that it could possibly cause people to expect them to be appearing in every episode of this show when in truth there just going there in a guest spot type of role and really nothing more then that.

As a comedy these two episodes don't really fair all that well as the comedy in both of these episodes just isn't all that good. As we could have gotten alot of better jokes in these first two episodes and while yes we do get some decent jokes in both of these first episodes alot of them are jokes that you can see coming a mile way and because of that the jokes just don't land as well as they really should have done not that there bad jokes but when you can see the jokes coming then there's something wrong with the joke on some level and it's something that really did need to be fixed but at the same time we do get alot of good jokes like the fact that the first thing that Bane does when he's at a Legion Of Doom meeting is to request tech to get small bits of crisps that are in the bottom of the packet enlarged so that people can eat them which is a funny joke and it is something that this version of the character would say and infact alot of his lines are really funny and feel in character for this version of the character where as alot of the Kite Man and Golden Glider jokes are really hit and miss with them being alot more hits then misses.

For some strange reason the makers of this show chose to make Golden Glider jealous of Malice because Malice is good looking. Yet all you have to do is look at how both characters are drawn to see that it's the opposite that's true which means that there whole plot line for the shows second episode just doesn't make sense as it's clear as day that Golden Glider is the good looking one and while Malice does seem like a cool and creepy character in this show her opening plotline is one where you can see the outcome coming a mile away and while you won't be see the possibly funny twist ending with the character coming it is something that does make sense given the creepy vibes that the character is giving of in all of her scenes but at the same time there really doesn't seem to be that much to her character outside of the fact that she's a youngster who only knows what today's younger people will know and nothing more then that which does make her character come across as being very note but at the same time tho there are places where her character could go if the show does take the time to fully develop her character.

Now then both of these episodes has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly no longer then twenty four minuets with episode one having a grand tot;a running time of exactly twenty three minuets and twenty six seconds and episode two of this show having a grand total running time of exactly twenty two minuets and fifty seven seconds. With episode one having the better running just because of the fact that while it doesn't have all that much to set up as things like the world of the show and alot of the shows characters have already been set up in Harley Quinn it still has to set up there story and what the character relationships are in this show and still tell a solid story which is something that this episodes does with both of the shows two episodes having just the right amount of plot for there respective running time and as result of that is the fact that none of the scenes in these first two episodes feel like filler as all of the are there to help to advance the overall plot of there respective episodes ad to the episodes credits they both know how to tell a good story in the short running times that they both have something alot of modern cartoons seemingly don't know how to do anymore but I will admit that both of these episode have some really good pacing to both of them tho.

So now then as this an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad. As there is some good action in both of these episodes and while episode two is a little less action heavy the action in that episode is still some fun action with Chessure growing in size and just eating everyone that it lays it's eyes one with Kite Man and Golden Glider being forced to try and of course fail to bring it down which was a fun idea and it is fun to see in episode two of this show but the action that we got in episode one was alot more better as it really did just go all out and because of that it was the ore fun of the actions scenes in both of these episodes as the action in the first episode is basically Kite Man , Golden Glider and there friends storming Kite Man's dad's mansion and getting attacked by all of the various henchmen and security guards that his dad has which does make the sequence a really fun one to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Overall with there being alot of new DC animated content out just this week alone this one is the more better of the two new DC animated projects that we got this week as these first episodes were very fun ton watch and give you a good idea of where the show is going where as Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths Part Three wasn't that much fun to watch despite it still being a good film in it's own right it's just that these first two episodes were alot more better then that movie was in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in these first two episodes in this very post  and since this is only my first impressions I won't be giving this show a rating however if this post does decently well and if you guys want me to check out another episode then I will do it and that post would then be a review of that episode and that episode only and not a review of the show as a whole.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used on this very post well the boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen  personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Batman: Caped Crusader fandom wiki page , the official Harley Quinn fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to really use to get the images from these very episodes that I really used in this very post being the really great Google Images simply just because of the fact that really due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are in this post really are all really from these very episodes and are really of course up and really on the really great Google Images are really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.
