Postman Pat: Postman Pat's Finding Day Review

We all have those cartoon characters that we all grew up watching when we were just little kids be they Thomas The Tank Engine or whatever. They were always the characters that we would grow up watching and eventually grow out of due to the fact that they were made with much more smaller kids in mind as is the case with the episode that i'm about to review for you all today and so then join me as I review the episode that really does try to make being a postman cool with the episode in question being called simply just "Postman Pat's Finding Day" Enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when on his round Pat discovers that a child's doll is missing and so goes about the rest of the day trying to find the doll and return it to it's rightful owner. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty simple and that's the best word to describe this episodes plot as it doesn't need to be a super complicated plot it's just needs to be simple and because of that it means that the characters can shine through and really carry the episode and while the plot of the episode is rather on thin side of things it really doesn't need to be a strong plot it just needs to give you the basic premise and that's really it and that's something that the plot of this episode does rather wonderfully with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is the shows only actor Ken Barrie who also serves as the shows main narrator as well. Having one actor do all pf the voices for the show is something that alot of animated shows that are made for very little kids did quite alot with it not really being something that works for this episode as alot of Ken's voices do sound the same and as a result of that is the fact that it's hard to tell from time to time who it is that's speaking alot of the time this is despite the fact that he can do some accents and does give the characters some rather distinct voices like Ted for example has a rather thick Yorkshire accent and Pat has more of a soft northern accent and as such when those two are talking you can tell who it is that's talking but he also gives one of the characters the exact same accent as Pat and doesn't change his vocal range and so it does get confusing trying to work out who is talking but when he does do a good voice it is something that really stand out with his narrator voice being very soothing and very easy to listen to as well as being a very calming voice which is something that really does work well for this show.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. As there's only one actor in this show at this point in time of course the standout performer in this episode is Ken Barrie as he really is the definitive voice of Pat with his performance being the kind of performance that you'd want to give in an episode like this one as it was calming enough to ease you into the episodes plot but is also joyful that when something funny does happen it can be a really funny joke with Ken really carrying this whole entire episode on his back and because of the fact that he's the only actor in this episode he really get alot of chances to shone as he does give some of the characters some really distinctive voices which at times does make them standout from one another with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all the actors in this episode have to do is just the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Woodland Animations. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As the animation in this episode is alto better then what it really had any right to be as animation in shows from the eighties very rarely if ever age that well and yet that's exactly the case with the animation in this very episode as while the animation does look pretty dated at parts that's more due to the fact that it's using very early stop motion animation and it's not due to the overall quality of the animation with there being alot of smooth movements in this episode and as a result of that is the fact that the characters do also have some fairly smooth looking movements or as smooth as you can get with stop motion animation.

The best word that can be used to describe not only this show but this episode is nice as that's exactly what this episode is. It's nice with everything about this episode being very cozy and being the kind of episode that you wouldn't mind leaving on for your little kids or relatives to watch as it's not going to harm them in anyway whatsoever with the episode itself being a very cozy show that is very calming with even the shows character even helping to sell the fact that this is a nice episode as even tho there very cookie cutter characters that are given very little interms of personality for a show that's made for very little kids that's not only expected but it's also what you want as well as there meant to give them an idealised look at the world outside and that means simplifying the characters down to there most basic personalities and while yes the episode would have been better of if the characters did get the chance to show of alot of there personalities that would mean redeveloping the show as Pat himself doesn't spend alot of time interacting with the other characters in this episode and would therefor not have the chance to show us what his personality is.

If there's one thing that the episode gets wrong it's that all of the characters do come across as being very one dimensional. While that does make sense as Pat doesn't get to spend alot of time with the other characters and as a result of that both Pat and the other characters wouldn't get alot of time to fully get across what there personalities are in the first place there are some characters that do get alot more screen time then others and even those characters aren't given the chance to become more developed then what they are with us the audience not really being given the chance to find out alot about these characters like for example we spent alot of time Dorothy Thompson and yet we know nothing about her character other then the fact that she's a housewife and that's really it and we spend alot of time with Ted and we don't really get to find alot about him other then the fact that he's the village handyman and nothing more then not and yet the makers of this episode had the chance to develop both of those characters and yet they didn't which does make sense as the show is about Pat but you still need to make the side characters just as developed as the main character in order to make the main character more interesting.

For some reason alot of British kids animated shows chose to make shows where the main character has the most dull job. As apart from Fireman Sam we had Thomas The Tank Engine a show about trains just working there day to day jobs and we had Postman Pat a show about a postman just going on his daily route to drop of letters and parcels and other such things and that's really it and on paper that shouldn't make a good show and yet as we can see in this episode it oddly makes for a good set up as it keeps the show grounded in some sort of realism as well as giving the shows target audience a chance to see what it is that people do for a job with the hopes that it might possibly inspire some of them to become a postman in the future but with all that being said a character who's main job is a post and where the plot of the show is him going on his daily route to do his job doesn't sound like it's that interesting of that show and as a result of that is the fact that the show and this episode would come across as being dull and really boring to some people.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grad total running time of exactly fourteen minuets and fifty five seconds. Which is the absolutely perfect running time for this episode to last as the episode really doesn't have alot there interms of plot to really cover anything longer then that and while it would have been nice if this episode had a longer running time to fully develop some of it' characters a bit more it would come at the expense of stretching the plot of the episode even thinner then what it already is as this plot doesn't need to be a super complicated plot and the episode itself doesn't need to be that long in order to tell it's story and tell it well it just needs to be a good fifteen minuets long and that's really it and that's something that this episode does really well as it does allow the character to just be themselves but at the same time it would be nice if this episode was a little bit longer just because this was a really nice episode that didn't need to be that long to be as enjoyable as it ended up being but I really will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well the in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As while alot of this episodes jokes aren't laugh lot loud funny the jokes that this episodes does have are cute jokes that are almost guaranteed to put a smile on either grown up faces or more importantly kids faces r perhaps maybe even both kids and adults faces with it being funny just seeing all of the cute and funny things that they do Jess as while they don't go over the top with what they do with Jess like they do in Postman Pat: The Movie here in this episode the most that they do is have Jess hang of the van's window as Pat opens the door to get in and that's really it and that's just a cute joke which is the type of joke that really does work for this episode and for this franchise in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a really nice episode and was a great way to start of this really iconic and under loved show really was and that it really does deserve alot more love just due to charming the show can be when it's at it's best with the episode being a good example of just how nice that this show can be something that the movie just wasn't in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in his very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review the official Postman Pat fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the really great the official Postman Pat fandom wiki page really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode and are really of course up and on the official Postman Pat fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series "Make A Wish" And "Attack Of The Octobot" Review

The Marvel Animated Universe was a universe that was dead for many decades and yet now thanks to X-Men '97 being as a good as it was it's back in the public eye once again. With one of the characters that cameoed not once but twice on the show also really being one of the many characters that got given his own show in the nineties and it's also a show that I really haven't really talked about for really sometime now and so then join me as I review the episodes that technically introduce us to Madame Web with the episodes in question being called simply just "Make A Wish" And "Attack Of The Octobot" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when Spider-Man accidentally blows up a science building during a fight with Doctor Octopus he finds himself down on his luck and must get some advice from the most unlikely of sources. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad with the plot of both episodes doing a good job of showing us a more vulnerable side to Spider-Man as well as showing us just what the character means to those around him without it being side out loud and while the plot of "Make A Wish" is basically just Spider-Man's origin story but cut down it was still a fun plot to see play out in this with this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these episodes is Christopher Daniel Barnes as Peter Parker / Spider-Man and Stephanie Eustase as Maria Taina Elizando. Also starring in these episodes is Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as Otto Octavius / Doctor Octopus , Joan Lee as Madame Web , Dimitra Arliss as Anastasia Hardy , Ed Asner as J. Jonah Jameson , Sara Ballantine as Mary Jane Watson , Rodney Saulsberry as Joseph Robertson , Scott Cleverdon as Michael Pingree , Roscoe Lee Browne as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin , Marla Rubinoff as Liz Allen , Patrick Labyorteaux as Flash Thompson , Michael Rye as Farley Stillwell , Linda Gary as May Parker , Bob Richardson as Bernard O'Brien , Anne-Marie Johnson as Mousie and Majel Barrett as Anna Watson.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes well then in all honesty  in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty really good. With all of the shows cast turning in some really good performances in both of these episodes which really isn't all that surprising given who is starring in these episodes as alot of the cast in both of these episodes are a bunch of really good voice actors with even Christopher Daniel Barnes pretty much being the voice of Spider-Man and it's not hard to see why as he really does turn in a good performance in this episode with the acting in these episodes really being helped bu the fact that the script for both of these episodes being so good that all these episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help the acting in these very episodes.

Doing the animation for these episodes is the legends and the greats that are currently over at TMS Entertainment. Now the interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the problem as the animation in both of these episodes wasn't all that good either as alot of the animation just looks flat and rather uninteresting to look but while the 2D animation isn't that good it's aged alot better then the shows signature use of very early 3D CGI animation which has aged like milk as it just looks ugly and has dated horribly which is not the episodes fault as there wasn't the technology there to make good looking 3D CGI animation with the 2D animation not having an excuse for looking as bad as it was as X-Men: The Animated Series which came out around the same time has alot better animation then what we mostly got in both these episodes and this show as a whole.

These are episodes are technically the first appearence of Madame Web as while she does appear in the previous episode it's a silent cameo near the end of the episode. Where as in these two episodes she plays a part of the episodes with her being the one to send Spider-Man to Maria in the first place as a way to prepare him for something that will happen later on in the shows run which is a great use of the character as it shows us just how smart this character is as she knows everything about Spider-Man without seeing him and thankfully these episodes don't go into her backstory as that is something that could ruin the mystic of the character by giving away to much of how the character was before she got her powers where as now we the audience have the chance to make up our own backstory for the character and the chance to work out just what her backstory might be in the first place with this being helped by the fact that this episode really does give us a great use for the character as she only appears a vert small handful of times and that's really it which is a great way to us a character like this at it allows the episodes to still focus on Spider-man and yet at the exact same time introduce this new powerful character as well.

In what was a shocking move is the fact that this episode has a shockingly dark ending even for a nineties superhero animated series. As it's revealed at the end of "Attack Of The Octobot" that the kid helping to cheer Spider-Man is dieing of a terminal illness and that seeing Spider-Man was the one thing that she wanted to do before she died that right there is not only such a mature plot twist to have in your kids show but it's also one of the more darker plot twists that the Marvel Animated Universe would have as while this universe is known for having dark plot lines almost none of them involve a kid dieing and yet even tho the show rather rightfully doesn't show Maria dieing nor does it show us Spider-Man finding out that she's dieing it's still a dark plot twist to have and while it's something that would have been made all the more emotional if Spider-Man did find out the very next day that she died it works more by leaving her fate up in the air and it also makes it all the more shocking as well as for all we could know she could have died mere moments after Spider-Man drops her of at home where as that would be something that would have been taken away from us if we did find out that she ultimately died.

The main villain of these episodes is Otto Octavius / Doctor Octopus who is a good villain but in this episode he's treated more of an afterthought. With us not even finding out why hes going after Spider-Man this time around all we know is is that he;s working with Wilson Fisk who is funding his research into creating the Octobot and yet we don't find out why he's targeting Spider-Man and while the main focus of the episodes might be Spider-Man and Maria you still need to give just as much attention to Doctor Octopus as while he is a great villain in any form of media by not giving him a reason for attacking Spider-Man this time around all your doing is making him come of as an afterthought like you suddenly realised that you need a villain in this episode superhero cartoon and so you just quickly wrote in the first one that you thought of and called it a day and that's enough for a character that is one of if not the most iconic Spider-Man villain as all that does is make the writing of the episode come across as being lazy when we know from the incredible twist at the end of the episode second episode that that really is far from being the case.

Now then these episodes has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty minuets and twenty one seconds for Make A wish and twenty minuets and twenty one seconds for Attack Of The Octobot. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running for this series to have and to be fair these episodes really doe make great use of that running time even tho Make A Wish is mostly made up of scenes of telling us Spider-Man's origin story with the main plot of bot of the episodes not really getting alot of focus in that episode which does make sense as the plot really isn't that thin with episode two making betting use of that running time as it was all about moving the plot of the episodes forward in a way that made sense where as episode one was mostly all about setting up things that would be paid of in episode two that's not to say that episode one is an episode that you can skip tho as this is where we do get hinds to Maria's fate but I will admit that these episodes really do have some really good pacing to both of them tho.

So now then as this is na action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes well then in all honesty i in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad. As this show in particualr wasn't really all tat known for having great looking action in it as it was more known for having good drama instead and to be fair both of these episodes do have some really good action in both of the episodes with us getting lots of chances to see Spider-Man do what he does best and do so in some really creative looking action scenes and it's during the action scenes in these episodes where the animation really does come alive as it's where we get alot of the best looking animation in both of these two episodes and it's also where we get to see just how fun this show really could be when it at it's best as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is a solid introduction to the Madame Web character as even tho we don't get alot of screen time with her as a character just from these first two episodes it's quite clear as day that she's going to be treated alot better then what she was being treated like in the Madame Web movie in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all o the good ad as well as all of the bad things that in these very episodes in this very review and as such that really does mean that these very episodes really doe earn theme selves a combined grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very from the official Spider-Man Animated fandom wiki page , the official Sony's Spider-Man Universe fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the really great the official Spider-Man Animated fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from these very episodes and are really of course on the official Spider-Man Animated fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Doctor Who: Terror Of The Autons Review

With Doctor Who currently back on the air with new weekly episodes it was only right to remind you all of another important episode of the show. As this episode introduces not one not two but three new characters one of whom would go onto become one of The Doctor's greatest foes and the others becoming  good allies to the third doctor and so then join me as I review the episode that sees The Doctor meet his Moriarty to his Sherlock Holmes with the episode in question being called simply just "Terror Of The Autons" enjoy.

The plot of the episode is when an old foe of The Doctor's comes to earth looking to take it over with the help of the Autons it's up to The Doctor , UNIT and his new companion to stop them before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as the plot of this episode was a good example of just how good the show could be when it's at it's best as the plot of the episode does have some really science fiction elements in it whilst at the same time not being a dumb plot as it's a plot that treats it's audience with respect something that alot of the later Doctor Who plots really do fail to do with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Jon Pertwee as The Doctor , Katy Manning as Jo Grant and Roger Delgado as The Master. Also starring in this episode is Nicholas Courtney as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart , Rogue One star Richard Franklin as Captain Mike Yates , John Levene as Sergeant Benton , Michael Wisher as Rex Farrel , Stephen Jack as Farrel Snr. , Barbara Leake as Mrs. Farrel , Harry Towb as McDermott , Christopher Burgess as Professor Philips , Frank Mills as The Radio Telescope Director , Andrew Staines as Goodge , The Violent Enemy Dermot Tuohy star as Brownrose , Dad's Army star John Baskcomb as Rossini , Live And Let Die star Roy Stewart as Tony The Strong Man and Haydn Jones The Voice Of The Autons.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. Which given who us starring in this episode really isn't all that surprising as alot of the cast for this episode are a bunch of genuinely really good actors who know how to turn in a good performance in this episode with it being really hard to say who the true standout performer is in this episode as that's just how good the acting really is in this episode as all of the episodes cast are quite clearly giving it there all with even Katy Manning who does get better over time turning a really good performance in her debut episode with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all the episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really raise the overall quality of the acting that's really in this very episode.

As was stated at the very start of this review this is the episode that marks the first appearance of The Master. With the character being pretty much written and acted how he would be for the rest of his existence as the character was pretty much written as perfectly as you'd want this version of the character to be written with the character basically being written as Professor Moriarty to The Doctors Sherlock Holmes as they are both super smart people who know alot about each other with The Doctor always being one step behind The Master and playing catch up with the character which does make there dynamic feel fresh , new and different as The Master truly is the evil version of The Doctor in every single way possible with this version of the character being someone who is willing to use human beings to get what he wants and to do the things that he won't do something that The Doctor would never do as he would do alot of things that he wanted to do himself and not put humans in harms way and as a result of this is the fact that we get a great villain who can and in most cases does push The Doctor in alot of ways.

The over new characters that are introduced in this episode are Captain Mike Yates and of course Jo Grant. With Mike being the better of the two characters as you at least get to see why he would be chosen to work for UNIT where as with Jo there's no reason why The Doctor would want her to be his companion as she's the brightest bulb out there and she doesn't doesn't really give The Doctor any kind of support apart from coming up with one or two decent ideas in the episode and that's really it where as with Mike you get to see why he got to work at UNIT and what it was that he brought to the team with him being the kind of person who will leap into action to save his friends regardless of what it would do to him in the process with the character also getting one of the episodes more funnier moments which shows that he has a sense of humor and while Jo has the potential to be a good companion something that she would reach as he tenure on the show would go on you still have to show us why The Doctor would want to work with her and why he want her to be his companion something that this episode very sadly fails to do.

To be frank both this episode and indeed the entire classic era of Doctor Who does have there moments that are just pure goofy. With the best example of that being in this episode where a guy straight up gets smothered by a plastic chair which on paper sounds creepy and sounds scary but in reality it's just goofy and it comes across as being alot more laughable then it does scary with that part of the episode making the part in Rose where Mickey gets turned into a plastic by a wheelie bin look more scary and threatening then what it actually is as that's just how goofy the char killing scene is in this episode with another goofy moment in this episode coming at the end of the episodes third episode where The Doctor has a punch of phone wire wrapped around him which again on paper sounds cool but in reality it just looks goofy and it makes you wonder why the makers of the show thought that those moments looked good enough to be included in the final cut of the episode as all they do is make those parts of the episode seem unintentionally hilarious.

To this episodes credit the idea of having two villains team up is a good odea and while this idea isn't as fully realised just due to the fact that this is the debut episode of The Master it is still a good idea. With this idea being one that could have worked even more of it is was the second Master or even third Master story as it would then mean that us the audience would have a chance to form a connection with the character and deicide if we like the character or not and yet because it's his first episode that idea can't be fully realised as the episode has to spend alot of time setting up The Master and telling us why he's a threat to The Doctor where as if this was his second or third story then we could just get straight into the plot and and see how The Master and the Autons interact with each other with there interactions being the best part of the episode as we get to see to evil beings basically fight to be the top dog in that partnership instead of just having them get along together which is what that we kind of get in this episode as well but at the same time tho if we the audience had the chance to get to know The Master before this story then the episode would have that shock factor of seeing two of The Doctors foes teaming up to take him down.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember whatever this episodes grand total running time even was I do that for a fact that this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of roughly one hour and thirty minuets. With this story being four episodes long which s the absolutely perfect running time and episode count for this story to have as this episode really doesn't have alot of plot there to cover anything really longer then that both in terms of running time and interms of episode count as well and while yes the episode would have benefitted from having really at the very least two or three extra episodes which would flesh out the characters a bit more then what they already are and it would have given us the chance to see why Jo would make a good companion to The Doctor as as things stand that's not something that comes across well in the final cut of the episode but at the same time tho it would also run the risk of making the episodes plot even thinner then what it already is but I will admit that tis episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in al honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As while classic Doctor Who doesn't really have that many action scenes in them it makes it all the more impressive when they do have one because they have to put alot of effort in it to make it as good as the action in alot of other shows from around the same time something that this episode does wonderfully as while alot of this episodes action does boil down to who can shoot who the fastest that doesn't mean that it's not exciting to see as the action that we got in this episode was very exciting and when it comes to the episodes third act it really does also get very dramatic as it gives us a really great twist ending involving The Master as well which really makes the all action in that part of the episode all the more memorable as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this episode was solid introductory episode for The Master , Jo Grant and Captain Mike Yates as it gives us a good idea of why these characters would be featured all throughout The Third Doctors era of the show with this episode being a cheesy episode that could have been better if it was further down the line in this particular series order in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all f the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page , Amazon . Co . Uk and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the really great Google Images simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode and are really of course on Google Images are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

The Dukes Of Hazzard "One Armed Bandits" Review

TV shows come and go all of the time with very few of them staying around long to make a lasting impact on people and even fewer staying around to form a fanbase that is to this very day still going strong. With one such TV show being the very show that i'm going to be talking about today as while you don't here much about the show from it's fans online they are still visiting the shows filming locations and meets the stars of the show at various conventions and so then join me as I review the episode that introduced the world to a really cool looking car with the episode in question being called imply just "One Armed Bandits" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when they discover that the corrupt Sheriff is sneaking in slots machines it's up to cousins Bo and Luke to stop this latest scheme before it gets out of hand. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode in all honesty not that bad but that's also the problem as the plot of this episode isn't all that good with the plot of the episode being a very cut and dry episode that has a very cut and dry plot which means that there's no twists or turns in the story as everything plays out the way that you think that it's going to play and nine times out of ten it also plays out in the exact order that you think that it's going play out and while the plot of the episode does have some good aspects like tieing the A and B plot together in a way that feels natural even that feels like it's predictable with the plot of the episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Tom Wopat as Luke Duke , John Schneider as Bo Duke and Catherine Bach as Daisy Duke. Also starring in this episode is Denver Pyle as Uncle Jesse Duke , James Best as Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane , Sorrell Booke as Boss Jefferson Davis Hogg , Ben Jones as Cooter Davenport , Sonny Shroyer as Enos Strate , Tisch Raye as Jill Rae Dodson , Ernie Brown as Dobro Doolin , Gillaaron Houck as Shotgun , Dennis Haskins as Moss , Sandra Dorsey as Hazel , Ralph Pace as Harvey , Jason Lively as Rudy , Rocky Laidler as Brodie , Jerry Campbell as Jerry and Waylon Jennings as The Balladeer.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With the cast of this episode turning in the best performances that they possibly could have done this early into the series run and while the acting in the show would get alot better nobody expects good acting in the first episode of a new TV show as the cast themselves really are still trying to find there characters and as a result of that is the fact that it would be really foolish to expect some really great acting from this episode as this is only the first episode of the show with the acting that's really in this episode not really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode for this episode is bad as it gives none of the actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that does really effect the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

One of the things that wasn't expected in this episode is the fact that there is basically an extended cameo appearance from another famous TV car that being the car from Starsky & Hutch. Which was something that really was unexpected as both shows went head to head with each other in the ratings and heck even people whom love each show love to bet on which car is the better of the two and as a result of that it was shocking to see the car for that show appear in this show episode and what's more is the fact that they don't treat it like it's a bad car as it's a car that belongs to one of the friends of Bo and Luke which is something that the makers of this show really didn't have to do and yet they went ahead and did it anyway and while the car doesn't do anything crazy it is still great to see it appear in this episode and it goes to show that the makers of this show have some kind of respect for the makers of Starsky & Hutch and while it's not clear if the makers of Starsky & Hutch featured a 1969 Dodge Charger in any of there episodes there is at the vert least some form of mutual respect there between the two shows.

In what was also a shocking is the fact that this episode is alot more darker in tone to that of the rest of the series. As while this episode is just as family friendly as the rest of the show is there are also some more darker elements like for example we actually see Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane fire his gun something that is not really seen all that much in the episode as is the fact that we see Uncle Jesse yell at both Bo and Luke to get them to do the right things amongst many other things all of which combine to give not only this episode but also the first handful episodes of this show as those episodes were filmed in one go and from episode six onwards they lightened the tone of the show while still keeping in a somewhat realistic world something that would remain with the show all the way through the show's entire broadcast history and as a result of that is the fact that it makes it weird to watch this episode knowing that the tone gets lighter in the first season as the tone of this episode is very vastly different from what we got in the rest of the show.

While there is a strong chance that this show would still be made today it would be very vastly different from the show that already aired. With this mainly being due to the fact that the characters of the show up hold to more traditional family values and the fact that the car has a southern flag on it's roof this is despite the fact that the characters of the show are very welcoming of people from all walks of life and accept you no matter what it is that you look like and yet it's that very reason plus the fact that the car has a southern flag on it's roof that alot of people today just wouldn't accept the show for one reason or another and alot of the time those people won't even watch the show and will instead just base there opinions on the show on a couple of images or a couple of seconds of the episode and not judge the episode by it's entire content which is what you really need to do in order to give any episode of any show a fair crack of the whip and by not doing that all your doing is robbing yourself of not seeing a TV show that you might like and while yes this most likely would not be a thing right now there's no denying the fact that there are people who will get upset about a very safe show that upholds more traditional family values.

While the writing in this episode and indeed the show as a whole isn't all that good as fact that even the makers of the show very proudly admit to being the case. There's no denying the fact that when this show gets exciting like when they do one of the famous scenes where they have the car do a jump or when there's a great car chase scene that they are some really exciting scenes to watch in this episode and while the episode really good have been better written with the boys straight up getting there cousin Daisy out of prison in a way that feels a little bit to cheesy even for this show with alot of that part of the episode really being something that could have been done better and in a way that ties into the main plot of the episode but as it is it felt like that it was there just so the episode could have yet another chase scene as it's not something that adds anything to the actual plot of the episode which is a sign of how bad the writing in this episode really is and while the makers of the show might have been proud to have bad and cheesy writing in not only this show but this episode as well it is something that is still a flaw with this episode.

Now the this episode has / had an exact grand total, running time of exactly forty seven minuets and four seconds. Which is a solid running time for this episode to have as the episode really does have more then enough plot to really cover that large amount of running time when you also add in the subplot to the mix as well but at the same time this is an episode that really didn't need to be that long as you very easily could have told this entire episodes story in well under forty minuets with the only things that you'd really have to cut out completely is the prison stuff with Daisy as it's not something that adds anything to the plot of the episode and as a result of that is the fact those scenes really do come across as feeling alot more like filler scenes then scenes that are actually needed to tell the episodes plot in the most efficient way possible and as a result of that is the fact that we end up with a bunch of scenes that were better of not being included in the final cut of this episode but I will admit that episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I gave to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the problem as this episodes comedy wasn't all that good either. As alot of this episodes comedy just relies on the characters saying something cute and that's really it and while that's fine for a kid character or a child like character given the fact that all of these characters are adults that's not something that works alot of the time ad while the episode does get some good jokes with the characters just saying some cute and funny stuff the jokes still need to be funny and alot of the time the jokes in this episode just aren't that funny and while the episode does indeed tell some really decent jokes those are very few and far between with the episode having alot more really bad jokes in it then it does have actually good jokes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a solid start to what would become a solid series and while the series itself isn't talked about as much as it should be nowadays that doesn't take away from the fact that both the series and this episode both have some really good elements in them you just have to sit through alot of bad elements in order to find them in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this review well then boys an girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Amazon . Co . Uk , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the really great Google Images simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode and are really of course on the really great Google Images are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Batman "Heart Of Ice" Review

It's safe to say that out of all of the animated series that have been released Batman: The Animated Series is easily one of the best superhero animated TV shows out there. With the show not only giving us great adaptations of classic villains but also giving us new characters that would go on to become fan favorite characters with the episode that i'm about to review for you all today being a good example of the show bringing back a classic character in a way that is not only new and different but also completely and utterly heartbreaking as well and as so then join me as I review the episode that sees the series debut of Mr. Freeze with the episode in question being called simply just "Batman "Heart Of Ice" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when a bunch of laboratories are being targeted all over Gotham it's up to Batman to find out who is committing these crimes and stop them once and for all. Now then then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad with the plot of the episode being somewhat of a dark horse as it presents itself as being a very cut and dry type of episode but then the longer the episode goes on the more that it becomes clear that the plot isn't as black and white as we first made it out to be with the plot of the episode at first sounding like that these laboratories are being attacked for no reason but then as the episode goes on we find out that not only is there a deeply tragic reason for these attacks but also who we think is the villain may not be the actual villain at all with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne / Batman and Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as Alfred Pennyworth. Also starring in this episode is Michael Ansara as Victor Fries / Mister Freeze , The Munsters' Revenge and The Superman/Aquaman Hour Of Adventure star Bob Hastings as A Police Officer , Mari Devon as Summer Gleeson and Star Wars star and voice acting legend Mark Hamill as Ferris Boyle.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in al honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With all of this episodes cast turning in some really good performances which really isn't all that surprising as this episodes cast are a bunch of really good actors and while Kevin Conroy would usually be the true standout actor in any given episode of this show in this episode that honor really does go to Michael Ansara was really does nail it as Mister Freeze with him being able to make the character sound both cold and emotionless when needed to do but when he's Victor Fries we get a sense of how warm and caring he was as a person and all of that comes from how great Michael Ansara well and truly is in this episode with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all the episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which in turn really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Spectrum Animation. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I8 in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with the characters having some really nice and fluid movements to them but what really does sell the animation in this episode is the fact that the backgrounds in this episode just look fantastic with alot of them looking like works of art as that's how good they look and the fact that an episode of this show has some good animation to it is really nothing new as this show always has some really good animation to it with this episode not really being any different with even the characters facial expressions looking really good as thats how good the animation really is in this episode.

This is the episode that gave Mister Freeze his now iconic and quite frankly rather tragic backstory with it being revealed in this episode that he's only doing evil things to try and find a cure for his wife. Which makes everything that he does in the rest of the series ad the movies all the more tragic as it comes not from a place of hatred and greed but from a place of love and compassion with hi only seeking revenge on the person that stopping his experiments because that person shoved him into a bunch of chemicals turning him into the person that he is now and as a result of that is the fact that this episode does also technically have two different villains one being Mister Freeze and the other being Ferris Boyle a business man who when in the public pretends that he's all for the people but when he's behind closed doors he's a cruel and evil person who's only looking out for himself whereas with Mister Freeze it's the opposite that's true as he's evil when he's out in public and he's a kinder and more softer person behind when he's behind closed doors.

Out of all of the shows many episodes this is the first one that got nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing In An Animated Program. With this episode deserving that award as it is a really well written as from a writing perspective it really does make you care for the villain and gives you a twist that not only makes you see the villain in a whole light but also makes alot of sense interms of episode as we see from an earlier scenes that Ferris Boyle isn't a good person when he's not a good person and the very first scene that we get with Mister Freeze we see that he really does care about his wife as he's seen just talking about how he wants to be with her again and lamenting the fact that he can't be with her due to her illness and while it could be argued that this puts us one step behind Batman interms of what he knows about who is committing these crimes it could also be argued that that's really the point as we the audience are meant to see Mister Freeze as a villain at that point and having Batman believe that he is the villain until the very last moment is a great way to get that done and still keep the surprise reveal that he's technically not the villain of the episode as a surprise and while it would be nice if we the audience would really still be on the same level interms of what he's knows about the episode it would also run the risk of making that really great surprise and plot twist come out of nowhere as well.

One of the big issues that this episodes is the fact that for a Batman story Batman himself doesn't really appear all that much in the episode. With oddly enough Mister Freeze getting more of the episodes screen time which does make sense as he is meant to be the main character of this episode and this episodes story but at the same time you don't want to tune into an episode of Batman and have Batman himself only appear in a small handful of scenes and while yes Batman does have an impact of the plot as it's thanks to him that we get to see Freeze's new origin story but at the same time that also makes Batman feel alot more like a character that's just there to give out exposition and not really add anything to the plot of the episode as that's all he does in this episode he just dumps information after information when he really doesn't need to and while this does rightfully make Batman feel like a side character in his own show there should have been a better way to do all of that and still have him act as a main character akin to Mister Freeze and heck even the episodes actual main villain Ferris Boyle doesn't get alot of screen time in the grand scheme of things and as a result of that is the fact his character really isn't as fully developed as he really should have been.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty two minuets and thirty four seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstandard running time for this show to have and to this episodes credit it really does make the most of it's running time with alot of the episodes scenes being about either advancing the plot of the episode or setting up things that will be payed of in the episodes final act with the fact that Bruce Wayne develops a cold at the start of the episode only to have that come back in the episodes climax being a very good example of that and while the episode really would have benefitted from being a movie as there really is more then enough plot to there to be a movie just as there's more enough plot here to really cover it's running time as it really is if it was a movie tho then it would have allowed a much more wider audience to view this new take on Mister Freeze instead of it just being a few people but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual episode that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As while the action is the episodes more weaker aspects this is only due to the fact that there's only so much that you can do with Mister Freeze action wise and as a result of that is the fact that we get action scenes that whilst they are very visually pleasing they aren't as exciting as they really could have been as all they are is batman trying not to get by Mister Freeze's freeze ray and that's really it and while that's fine for one or two action scenes when that's every action scene tho that's when they start to get dully boring this is despite the fact that the animation in this episode really do help the action look as good as they could have done in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this episode is as tragic and as beautiful as you'd want it to be and is quite easily one of the best episodes in this shows history it's still an episode that has alot of room for improvement this is despite the fact that the episode really does gave alot of things going for it as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now the i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that re in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really foes earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official batman: Te Animated Series fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the really great the official Batman: The Animated Series fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from these very episodes and are really of course on the official Batman: The Animated Series fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.
