Doctor Who: The Evil Of The Daleks Review

Doctor Who fans when it comes to classic Doctor Who villains there is none that is more iconic then that of The Daleks. However it might shock you to learn that there was once a time when the BBC planned to kill of the iconic villains for good and so then join me as I review the episode that not only was intended to kill of The Daleks but also introduce a new companion with the episode in question being called simply just "The Evil Of The Daleks" enjoy.

The plot of the episode is after the TARDIS is stolen from Gatwick Airport The Doctor and Jamie find themselves mysteriously transported back to victorian London where The Doctors arch nemesis The Daleks are up to a truly evil scheme one that involves The Doctor himself. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty fantastic with this episodes plot doing a good job of introducing the new companion and of telling a genuinely thrilling and exciting storyline in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Patrick Troughton as The Doctor , Frazer Hines as Jamie McCrimmon and Deborah Watling as Victoria Waterfield. Also starring in this episode is John Bailey as Edward Waterfield , Marius Goring as Theodore Maxtible , Brigit Forsyth as Ruth Maxtible , Geoffrey Colville as Perry , Griffith Davies as Kennedy , Alec Ross as Bob Hall , Windsor Davies as Toby , Sonny Caldinez as Kemel , Gary Watson as Arthur Terrall , Jo Rowbottom as Mollie Dawson , Peter Hawkins as The Voice Of The Daleks and Roy Skelton as The Voice Of The Daleks.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With all of this films cast turning in some really good performances with John Bailey and Marius Goring being the true standouts of this episode apart from the three main leads of course in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Try as I might I really cannot find out who did the animation for this episode which is such a shame as I really did like the animation in this episode. With this episode having some of the best animation that i've seen in alot of these Doctor Who animations and with this episode having a longer production time then the average Doctor Who animation it really is a great case for these animations having a longer production time since that's when you'll get some truly great looking animation in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

I have to  admit that I really did like how The Daleks were written in this episode since in this episode they are written as characters who are smart and cunning. This then makes there plan seem all the more none sensical since it doesn't make sense for The Daleks to bring in their there arch rival and leave him all on his own in several scenes with all of their equipment espically when they already have two humans who they are already using as apart of their plan and as such it would have made more sense for The Daleks not to bring in The Doctor in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

As much as I like this story I have to admit that the character of Victoria Waterfield really doesn't do alot that impacts the story of this episode. Which while it is understandable since she is basically the princess character that needs to be rescued since she is a new companion in this episode it would have been nice to have seen what it is that she brings to the TARDIS and while we do get something like that in the very next serial it would have made some sense to have it appear in this serial as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

I have to admit that I liked the fact that they made Jamie out to be more of an action hero in this episode. Which was a nice addition since it makes the character seem like he'd do anything to get the job done and while the his rescue mission could have been cut down quite a bit it  still doesn't take away from the the fact that it actually adds something to the character in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely live of me remember whatever this episodes running time was I do know that for a fact that this episode had a rough running time of roughly two hours and fifty seven minuets. With this episode being seven episodes long which even for a Dalek story this is sill a rather large amount of episodes since you very easily could have condensed this films storyline into five episodes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

So now then since this is an action episode that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With the standout action set piece being the Dalek rebellion at the end of the episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is such a fantastic storyline and one that was meant to be the final ever Dalek storyline it's one that is rightfully epic for these freaking truly iconic villains in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the goo and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode erns itself a grand olf score of exactly an 8 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Amazon . Co .Uk and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being Google Images since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on freaking Google Images are all fairly freaking high in freaking quality and as well as being very fairly freaking high in definition.
