My First Impressions Of The Yasuke Anime TV Series

Ladies and gentlemen Netflix has been putting alot of anime as of late and well they have just released another new Netflix original anime series. I will fully admit that I had no intention of taking a look at this particular show that is until a few days ago which was when I saw the first trailer for this show on the official Netflix Youtube cannel and so here are my first impressions of the 2021 Netflix original anime series with the Netflix original anime series in question being called simply "Yasuke" and so enjoy this post everyone.

The plot of this particular episode is that Yasuke is an ex samurai who after seeing his master and lord die spends alot of getting drunk until one day when he tasked with helping a mother and daughter sail to reach a special kind of doctor all the meanwhile Yasuke himself has to deal with things that have happened in his own past. In terms of what I personally thought about the plot of this particular episode in all honesty I thought that the plot of this particular episode was fairly decent since there was nothing that really stood out to me plot wise about this episode and as such the story for / of / to this particular episode just feels like the standard plot to any first episode of a fantasy / history / action anime and nothing more.

Now then since the version of the episode that I personally saw was the English dubbed version of this particular episode I there for have to say that starring in this in this particular episode is and possibly even the rest of the show is Lakeith Stanfield as Yasuke. Also starring in this particular episode and possibly even the rest of the show is Ming-Na Wen as Natsumaru , Maya Tanida as Saki , Darren Criss as Haruto , William Christopher Stephens as Achoja and the only actor to also be playing this role in the Japanese dub of this show we have Takehiro Hira as Nobunaga Oda.

In terms of what I personally thought about the acting that's featured / presented to us in this particular first episode. In all honesty the acting that's featured / presented to us in this particular first episode is alot better then what I personally thought that it was gong to be simply because I had no idea who was even starring in this show and as such I had no idea what to expect from this show acting wise and so I was pleasantly surprised to see that the acting that's featured / presented to us in this first episode was in honesty really freaking good with all of the actors that are starring in this episode and possibly even the rest of this particular show are in my opinion at least well and truly giving us some really freaking fine performances.

Doing the animation for not only this particular episode for this entire particular show is MAPPA who are currently doing work on Attack On Titan: The Final Season. As for what I personally thought / feel / felt about the animation that's featured / presented to us in this particular episode in all honesty the felt that the animation that we saw in this particular episode was really freaking good but at the same time this show feels like that it's not MAPPA at their best tho.

Netflix have really taken ahold of the anime industry at least in American in the pas few years with the company putting out new anime at least every single anime season and heck just yesterday it was announced that Netflix would be adding both of the new Sailor Moon films this summer. As such I personally do feel that Netflix is slowly but very surely becoming the go to home for anime fans but Netflix will have to be very careful because if they do become the go to home for anime and for anime fans then they run the risk of not anime not being as popular over in America simply because of the fact that Netflix nine times out of ten likes to wait at leas a year before releasing whatever the next show is which is bad considering that again nine times out of ten that same show has already been released out in Japan.

Now then one of the big things that I can see websites like Kotaku and even a website like The Mary Sue picking up on in this particular show is the fact that the main character is a person of color. I can see websites like Kotaku and The Mary Sue picking up on this fact simply because all those websites is the color of someone's skin and not how well written or even how well acted the character in question well and truly is.

Speaking of how well written the characters in this episode are I personally feel that the characters that are in this show aren't going to be very well written at all. Simply because just based of this first episode we've not really gotten any kind of hint as to what the personalities of these characters nor are we given any kind of reason to like these characters but if that changes over the following fives episodes of this six episode show / firs season then i'll gladly give the show the credit that it well and truly deserves but so far this episode didn't really impress writing wise also because of the fact that the characters seem to be pretty freaking generic as all heck which makes sense for Yasuke because he was an actual person but it doesn't make sense for any of the shows possibly made up / fictional characters tho.

Now then boys and girls this particular episode is thirty minuets and twenty eight seconds long which I personally felt was the right amount of time. Simply because this episode was the first episode of an anime show and as such to expect the story in this episode to be fully told would be pretty daft / pretty freaking stupid since an anime can take several episodes to tell one single story and / but I will admit that this episode really did fly by in certain places but the particular episode also felt alot slower in other parts / places of this particular episode as well.

Now then boys and girls this anime is an action anime and there is some action to be found in this episode and that means / which means that I have to talk about the actual action that's featured / presented to us in the actual episode itself and in all honesty the action that we get to see in this episode wasn't that bad. Simply because of the fact that the animation in this particular episodes action sequences was so good but the actual action was at best pretty freaking average tho but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Overall this episode was a pretty decent episode and I do hope that this show finds a fanbase and that this show gets better as it continues on through the remaining five episodes. Now then boys and girls since i've talked about both of the good and as well both of the bad things that are in this episode in this review I will not be giving my overall rating for this series simply because this isn't a review but as the title suggests is rather just my first impressions of the show as a whole.

As for where I got the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls I got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Yasuke fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my preferred website to use from images from this show (because yes I couldn't find that many pictures from just this first episode nor could I personally find a cast list for just this first episode either) being Google Images since there are alot of images from this show that are now up and on Google Images.

Justice Society: World War II SPOILERS FILLED!!!!!!!!!! Review

DC Comics fans DC Comics is known for putting out really good direct to DVD  animated movies and well since we have a tradition going on here you just know that I was going to be checking out this movie the first chance that I had / got. I will fully admit that I straight up forgot all about this film even existing let alone when this film was even coming out as such it was a shock for me to see that this film had just been released on digital platforms and so join me as I review the 2021 direct to DVD DC Comics animated film that is honestly pretty freaking cool with the film itself being called simply "Justice Society: World War II" enjoy.

The plot of this film is The Flash (Barry Allen) finds himself stuck right slap bang in the middle of World War 2 and with the help of the Justice Society of America must find his way back to his own time but not before The Flash (Barry Allen) joins the Justice Society of America in possibly tipping the balance of the war forever.  In terms of what I thought about the plot of this film / movie in all honesty the plot of this film / movie was really freaking good and if i'm being honest I had no idea where the plot of this film was even going which for me at least is always a very good thing indeed.

Starring in this film is Stana Katic as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman , Matt Bomer as Barry Allen / The Flash and Elysia Rotaru as Dinah Lance / Black Canary. Also starring in this film is Chris Diamantopoulos as Steve Trevor ,  Omid Abtahi as Hawkman , Matthew Mercer as Hourman , Armen Taylor as Jay Garrick / The Flash , Liam McIntyre as Arthur Curry / Aquaman , Geoffrey Arend as Charles Halsted, and as An Advisor , Ashleigh LaThrop as Iris West , Keith Ferguson as Doctor Fate , Darin De Paul as Franklin D. Roosevelt and ????????? as Shakespeare / ??????? / ???????.

In terms of what I personally thought about the acting that's featured / presented to us in this film in all honesty the acting that's featured / presented to us in this film is really freaking good. All of the actors that are starring in this film really do deliver some really good performances altho I have to say that for unknown reason Stana Katic seems to be doing an impression of Gal Gadot which is something that I personally fund to be very distracting despite the fact that actress Stana Katic does turn in a really good performance as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman.

Doing the animation for this film is Digital eMation who have done alot on Warner Bros direct to DVD animated movies. I have to say that I honestly and personally really did like the animation that's featured / presented to us in this very film since the animation that's featured / presented to us in this film was really fluid and the backgrounds were really stunning and as such you could tell that the animators who were working on this film really did have a blast / a good time working on this film because it really does show in this film.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was one thing that I wasn't expecting to see in this film and it's that one thing plus something else that made me turn this film review into a spoiler filled review. Since we see a picture of the The Ark Of The Covenant which i'm going to be honest made me laugh because that whole sequence just reminded me alot of Raiders Of The Lost Ark and have no idea why since the two movies couldn't be any more different even if they tried.

Now you guys may / might have noticed that I left one actors name of the list of credited actors and that's because even tho this person being in this movie wouldn't be a spoiler what would be a spoiler is who they are playing because reprising his role as Clark Kent / Kal-El / Superman from the animated direct to DVD film we have Darren Criss. This honestly makes me believe that DC Comics has secretly started a new direct to DVD animated movie universe simply because DC Comics very rarely have the same actor play the same character in multiple animated protects and the last time that they did was with the DC Animated Movie Universe and so this leads me to believe that we are perhaps seeing the beginnings of a new direct to DVD animated movie universe from DC Comics but who knows I could be wrong tho.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now then boys and girls even tho i've been fairly positive about the film thus / so far there is one thing that I didn't like about the film and that's the fact that this version of Wonder Woman not only feels like but is also written like the version of Wonder Woman that we say in the 2017 live action Wonder Woman. Which I guess makes sense that particular version of the character was popular and to main stream audiences that particular version of Wonder Woman is the only version of the character that has ever and will ever exist however it also means that this particular version Wonder Woman cannot be her own character which in my opinion at least makes this particular version of Wonder Woman not only forgettable but also badly written since the makers of this film are just copying and pasting what the makers of the 2017 live action Wonder Woman did for there particular version of Diana Prince / Wonder Woman.

Now then boys and girls this film has a total running time of exactly one hour and twenty four minuets and sixteen seconds and which if i'm being honest that running time suits this film perfectly. Since there really isn't enough plot to cover anything even close to two hours but there is more then enough plot to cover almost one hour and thirty minuets and it really does help that this film really does fly by but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my honest opinion anyways.

Now then boys and girls this film is an action film after all and that does mean that there is alot of action to be found in this film and so that means that I have to talk about the action that's in the actual film itself and if i'm being really freaking honest here. the action that's seen / featured / presented to us in this film is so freaking good and this is where I personally feel that the animators who worked on animating this film had a lot of fun simply because you get to see all of the Justice Society Of America members do a lot of really cool stuff and plus the animation gets alot better and alot more fluid in the action scenes that are in this film and plus is does help that the action that is seen / featured / presented to us in this film is just so freaking cool with like I said the Justice Society Of America members doing lots of really cool things which is something that you really want to happen in any action scene but that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest and as well as being in my vert personal opinion anyways.

Overall this is a movie that I personally cannot recommend enough because it really is in my opinion at least simply such a good movie to watch and to enjoy. Now then boys and girls since i've talked about both f the good and as well as booth of the bad things that are in this movie in this very review this movie / film gets a 7.5 out of 10 from me personally , as for where I got the images that I used in this review. Well then boys and girls I got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official DC Movies fandom wiki page , the official Indiana Jones fandom wiki page , Google Images and the official DC Extended Universe fandom wiki page. With my personal preferred website to use to get images from this film being Google Images simply because it's the only website that actually has images from this film.

Star Wars Rebels "Twilight Of The Apprentice" Review

Star Wars fans we are but a little over a week away from the launch of the newest Star Wars animated series which is being called "Star Wars: The bad Batch" and as such I thought that it would be fun to take a look back review and episode from another Star Wars animated TV show. This was done simply because I felt like it and so join me as I review the awesome episode of the second season of Star Wars Rebels with the episode itself being called simply "Twilight Of The Apprentice" enjoy,

The plot of this particular episode is Kanen , Ahsoka and Ezra are searching for knowledge about how to destroy the sith once and for all and there quest takes them to hidden Sith temple where an old friend who is seeking there/ his own revenge is waiting for them. In terms of what I thought about the plot of this episode in all honesty the plot of this episode is so good and even if you haven't seen the previous episode this story is still very easy to follow and it's stories like this that help make Star Wars Rebels as good as it was in my opinion.

Starring in this episode is Taylor Gray as Ezra Bridger , Freddie Prinze, Jr. as Kanan Jarrus and the always talented and the always stunning Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano. Also starring in this particular episode is Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex , Robert Daymond Howard as Eighth Brother , Sam Witwer as Maul , The Legend That Simply Is James Earl Jones as Darth Vader , Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker , the stunning Sarah Michelle Gellar as Seventh Sister , Philip Anthony-Rodriguez as Fifth Brother and Nika Futterman as Presence.

In terms of what I thought about the acting that's featured / presented to us in this very episode in all honesty the acting that's featured /presented to us in this very review is as good as you'd expect the acting to be in a Dave Filoni directed animated Star Wars TV episode. Since yeah the acting in this episode is so freaking good with all of the actors that are starring / appearing in this episode really doing a good job at portraying their respective character which given that some of these have been playing their respective characters for literally decades at this point really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone at all.

Now try as I might but I cannot find out who in the heck did the animation for this episode which given what i'm about to say is truly freaking shocking indeed. Since I really did like the animation that's featured / presented to us in this episode since in my opinion at least the animation that's featured / presented to us in this episode is close to being movie quality because everything about the animation in this particular is so good and you can tell that the animators and everyone involved with the animation side of making show put alot of time and effort into making sure that the animation in this particular episode was as good and if not better then the animation that was seen in the later seasons of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

This episode features the return of Darth Maul (yes I know that he goes by just simply Maul but he will always be Darth Maul to me damn it lol) and I have to admit after not really seeing this character in animation before now I really did like how well that this character was handled in animation. Since this character is to some degree a con man in that he'll tell you whatever it is that you want to hear in order to get what he wants and then and only then once he gets what he wants will he then reveal his true side which honestly makes the character very interesting since you never really know at least in this particular episode is he's telling you the truth or if he's lieing to you which makes his betrayal all the more shocking in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

I'm just going to be f*****g / freaking real with you guys I straight up loved this season two finale of Star Wars Rebels. Simply because this finale is so freaking good it hits all of the buttons that you want a season finale to hit and yet it also tells a good story and it does interesting things with it characters which even tho those interesting things have very little no impact on this episode they would go on to have a huge impact in season 3 of Star Wars Rebels.

Now then boys and girls i've been very / pretty freaking positive about this episode so far but there are a few things that I didn't like about this particular episode with the first thing being the fact that the new and interesting things that this episode does with it's characters have no literally no / zero impact in this episode and so those new and interesting things could have been removed from this episode and nothing about this particular episode would be effected whatsoever and the other thing that I didn't like is that it got rid of this seasons big bads / villains pretty easily which makes the big bads / villains for this particular season just feel useless and not that threatening and from what I can remember the villains / big bads from this particular season aren't interesting or even good characters but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinions anyways.

Now then boys boys and girls this particular episode has a running time of just simply forty three minuets and fourteen seconds. Which I honestly feel is the right amount of time for this particular episode since this episode has to not only wrap up any stories from season two but also set up stories for season three and so this episode needed to be double the length of a normal twenty two minuet episode of Star Wars Rebels and this episode used it's extra running time to it's full advantage since there is so much going on both story wise and character wise that it needed the extra running time in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion.

Just before I talk about the actual action that's featured / presented to us in this episode I have to talk about the fight between Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader. Since even tho I didn't watch that much of Star Wars: The Clone Wars growing up I still knew enough to know who Ahsoka was and so knowing that she had no idea that Anakin had turned to the dark side of the force and seeing her squaring up to Darth Vader was still a shocking thing because no matter if you've seen Star Wars: the Clone Wars or not you have that connection with one or even both of those characters and so the fight means more because you know what those characters have gone through and that made there fight and there meting in this episode all the more impactful for me personally but that's just what I personally think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now then boys and girls in terms of what I personally thought about the action that's featured / presented to us in this episode. In all honestly I really did like the action that was featured / presented to us in this episode simply because I watched more of Star Wars Rebels that I did Star Wars The Clone Wars and so I have a much stronger connection to the cast of characters from Star Wars Rebels and that made the action in this episode all the more impactful because of the fact that i've followed those characters from Star Wars Rebels on this journey and so of course i'd want them to succeed and of course i'd also want them to beat every enemy that they enter into a really cool looking fight scene / action scene with.

Overall this was a really freaking good episode in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion and it's one that I personally recommend all Star Wars and non Star Wars fans alike check out because this episode is well and truly that freaking good. Now then boys and girls since i've talked about both of the good things that are featured / presented to us in this episode and as well as both of the bad things that are featured / resented to us in this very episode in this very review this episode gets a 9 out of 10 from me personally.

As for where I got the images that I used in this very review from well i got all of the images that I used in this very review from the official Star Wars Rebels fandom wiki page , the official Star Wars fandom wiki page and the official The Mandalorian fandom wiki page. With my personally preferred website to use to get images from this particular episode from being the official Star Wars Rebels fandom wiki page just because all if not alot of the images that are featured on the official Star Wars Rebels fandom wiki page are all fairly high definition as well as being fairly high quality as well.

Game Of Thrones "The Long Night" Review

Ladies and gentlemen it's been at least two months since I last spoke about anything to do with Game Of Thrones and well as such I thought that now was the right time to make another Game Of Thrones review. This time tho I thought that i'd go with a rather underrated episode from the dreadful season eight and so join me boys and girls as I review the Game Of Thrones season 8 episode that really should have had alot more main character deaths with the episode itself being called simply "The Long Night" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is Winterfell finds itself under attack from the army of the dead which is lead of course by the night king and so it's up to our heroes to survive the night and hopefully defeat the night king once and for all or else the night king and his army of the dead will take out the entire world of Westeros. Plot wise I felt that this episode was really good since it was very easy to understand what the plot of the episode was and it really helped the plot of this particular episode was in my opinion at least really well freaking told.

Starring in this particular episode is Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Ser Jaime Lannister. Also starring in this particular episode is Emilia Clarke as Queen Daenerys Targaryen , Kit Harington as Jon Snow , Sophie Turner as Lady Sansa Stark , Maisie Williams as Arya Stark, Liam Cunningham as Ser Davos Seaworth , Carice Van Houten as Melisandre , Nathalie Emmanuel as Missandei , Alfie Allen as Prince Theon Greyjoy , Isaac Hempstead-Wright as Bran Stark , John Bradley as Samwell Tarly , Hannah Murray as Gilly , Gwendoline Christie as Ser Brienne of Tart , Conleth Hill as Varys , Rory McCann as Sandor Clegane , Kristofer Hivju as Tormund , Joe Dempsie as Gendry , Jacob Anderson as Commander Grey Worm , Iain Glen as Ser Jorah Mormont , Bella Ramsey as Lady Lyanna Mormont , Richard Dormer as Lord Beric Dondarrion and Vladimír Furdík as The Night King.

In terms of what I thought about the acting that's featured / presented to us in this episode in all honesty I thought that the acting that's featured / presented to us in this particular episode was really freaking good. Which given that this is Game Of Thrones and Game Of Thrones always has good acting the fact that this particular episode has good acting isn't new or even close to being shocking but what is new is the fact that there's alot of scenes where there's no dialog and yet you can tell what the characters are thinking just by looking at the actors on the screen and that is something that i've never said before in any of my reviews but it's something that I feel is very true for this particular episode.

Doing the CGI for not only this particular episode but also for the whole of the Game Of Thrones TV series is Karakter Design Studio , Weta Digital , El Ranchito , Image Engine Design , SSVFX , Important Looking Pirates , Atomic Arts , Lola Visual Effects , Clearcut FX , Cadence Effects and Yellowmoon. I don't think that this needs saying at this point since it's true for every single episode of Game Of Thrones but the CGI that's featured / resented to us in this episode is so freaking good and part of what makes the CGI in this particular episode so good is the fact that CGI blends in with the stuff that was filmed for real so well and so there's a hint of realism there like for example when you see a dragon breathe fire this episode will sometimes show how that fire is lighting other parts of Winterfell and that kind of detail / realism is something that you don't really see that much in TV shows and that helps the overall quality of the CGI in this episode but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

One of the things that really bugged me about this episode is that only a few major characters die which for Game Of Thrones a show which is known for killing major characters isn't a good thing at all in my opinion. Like how cool and shocking would it have been to see Jon Snow get killed or to see someone like Arya get killed either one of those deaths would have made the episode more impactful heck killing of any of the really well known characters would have made this episode seem all the more impactful but nope instead the writers of this particular episode who are David Benioff & D.B. Weiss instead chose to go the safe route and kept all of the really well known / really popular characters save and thus alive.

I had to admit that I really loved Arya in this episode since they pretty much made her like Liam Neesons character from Taken mixed with John Wick. Which is honestly something that really did work for where the character of Arya is at this point in the story since at this point in the story she's become a battle hardened warrior and so she's willing to do anything to keep something that she loves save and that's love and that determination that really keeps her going in this episode but there's a huge chance that i'm simply just looking for something that simply isn't there just like there's a huge chance that i'm looking at something that simply isn't there.

I'm just going to come right out and say it Jon Snow is freaking dumb as a rock in this episode because he knows that The Night King can raise the dead and so what does he do he puts alot of the really important people plus women and children and those who simply cannot fight in a place that's full of dead people. Granted wherever every none fighter and important person was going to put was always going to be unsafe but putting them in a room full of undead people when your fighting against someone who can raise the dead is a pretty freaking dumb move but that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now then boys and girls I cannot remember the exact running time for this episode but I do know that this episode is at least one hour and twenty minuets / an hour and twenty minuets long and I have to say that that is the right amount of time for this episode in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion. Since there's so much to cover story wise that you just couldn't do this episode in just under an hour but that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now then boys and girls this whole episode is basically one action sequence / action set piece which means that I have to talk about the action that's featured / presented to us in this episode / in the actual episode itself and if i'm being really freaking honest the action that's featured / presented to us in this episode is so freaking good. I honestly think that director Miguel Sapochnik really does know how to direct an action scene since he does a really good job with the action in this episode since the action that's featured / presented to us in this episode is just so cool to see which is something that you always want when your doing alot of action in either a TV show or in a film.

Overall out of the whole of season eight this is one of the better episodes which really isn't saying much because alot of Game Of Thrones fans myself included hate season eight of Game Of Thrones. Now then boys and girls i've talked about both / some of the good things that are in this episode and bot / some of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such this episode gets an 8 out of 10 from me.

As for where I got the images that I used in this review well i personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from either Google Images or the official Game Of Thrones fandom wiki page. With my referred website to use for images from this episode being the official Game Of Thrones fandom wiki page just simply due to not only how images there are from this particular episode but also just simply due to the fact that nearly all of the images from this particular episode are very high definition and as well as being vert high quality.

WWE / WWF Wrestlemania 23 Review

Wrestling fans it's been about three months since we last spoke and well since i'm writing this review on the day of Wrestlemania 37 Night One it only makes sense that I review a Wrestlemania PPV event. However with there being so so so so so so so so so so many Wrestlemanias to choose from which one do i go with well since I only own of them on DVD (which yes I will be talking about later on in this review) it makes sense that I review that particular Wrestlemania and so join me boys and girls as I review the 2007 WWE / WWF PPV event that is called simply "Wrestlemania 23" enjoy.

Now unlike the other classic WWE / WWF PPV's that i've reviewed I really do feel that you need to watch the Raws , Smackdowns and the case of Wrestlemania 23 the ECWs and PPVs leading up to this show. Simply because there aren't that many video packages in this particular event and so there's no way that you can catch up with all of the then current storylines leading up to and as well going beyond this show without spending literally dozens of hours watching WWE / WWF and ECW from the year 2007. Which is both a good and a bad thing it's a good thing because it means that you get to watch some now classic wrestling but it's bad thing because if your like me then you don't have access to all of those episodes but I get why they didn't have alot of if any video packages during Wrestlemania 23 since Wrestlemania is seen is usually seen as the big finale for all of the current storylines but at the same time I would have loved to see video packages just because it makes following the then current storylines alot easier in my opinion but that's just what I think and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

I have to say that I really didn't like the set to Wrestlemania 23 since to me at least the set looked to busy and complicated. Which for me at least takes away from the entire PPV since for me personally / at least part of the fun of Wrestlemania is seeing how grand the set is for that particular Wrestlemania and so to see a Wrestlemania set that looks really busy and complicated is bad thing since a Wrestlemania set should be grand yet simple and that's not the feeling that I personally got from this set but that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion.

Looking back on it now there's not one single thing that I liked about this Wrestlemania set which is a shame because I can usually find at least one thing that I liked about most Wrestlemania sets but I can't honestly think of a single thing that I personally liked / really liked about this particular Wrestlemania set. Each Wrestlemania set is meant to invoke something from the particular town that that years Wrestlemania is taking place in and yet I can't think of anything in the set for Wrestlemania 23 that invokes the town Wrestlemania 23 is taking place in but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now then boys and girls this particular Wrestlemania also features someone who is now extremely / very controversial and since I want this review to be focused strictly on the actual PPV event in question and not what I this person has done very recently I will not referring to this person by name nor will I be using any images of this person outside of the main poster for this particular Wrestlemania. I will say that the match that this person is involved in is a decent match but at the same time the ending of this match is so convoluted and the actual haircutting segment goes on for far two long in my opinion which is a shame apart from the ending the match itself is honestly pretty and as well the match in question is also very entertaining but there's so many run ins that it just takes you out of the match and brings the overall match quality down in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Out of all the matches that are on this card perhaps the worst for me at least is Kane vs The Great Khali. Simply because this match features two very big men one of whom can barely wrestle (The Great Khali) and the other one can't move as much as he used to (Kane) as such I have to wonder who in the hell thought that it was a good idea to book these two guys in a wrestling because even on paper this is bad match and it's exactly as bad as you think that it's going to be and then some but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my personal and very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Not only is this Wrestlemania now official for having a rather controversial person involved but it's also known for having a now known murderer on it's it's card and I don't think that I need to say this person's name since his case is very well known in the wrestling world and I will say that even tho what this person did outside of the ring is terrible and unforgivable. How they wrestled not only in this match but in alot of to possibly even all of there matches was really good and heck i'd even say that this match is one of the better matches on this card even if there are not only a few lines of commentary which are now really uncomfortable (JBL says that the murderer in question is definitely going into the WWE Hall Of Fame) but there is also a move which with the benefit of hindsight is a rather uncomfortable move to watch this person performing in the ring and in not only this match but in any match in which they bust out this move but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now this is something that I noticed when I was watching this particular Wrestlemania for this very review but near the end of the opening match which is the eight man Money In The Bank Ladder Match for those that don't know but quite a few of the superstars that are taking part in that match just straight up disappear from the match. Granted they do give an in match explanation for wrestlers like Edge and Jeff Hardy but everyone else that disappears from this match gets no explanation whatsoever which in my opinion at least is just bad booking since you have a bunch of guys all of whom can wrestle and you get rid of them all with explanation given and that brings down the quality of the match but the match itself is honestly pretty decent with lots of cool moments but the disappearing superstars really does let this match down in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now i'm sure that the women's championship Lumberjill Match had a botched finished just because none of the wrestlers seemed prepared for that bridging pinfall to be the finish. Plus even for a divas era match this match was super short with the late Ashley Massaro getting in next to no offensive in on Malina at all which leads me to believe that this match was meant to go on for a little bit more / a little bit longer but I could be wrong tho but for the only women's match on the card for this particular Wrestlemania to be three minuets and thirteens seconds including entrances is a damn shame because we know that Malina can wrestle and form what I can remember Ashley Massaro could wrestle so why these two women won't given more time for their match I do not but the short time for this match really did hurt the match in my opinion but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now boys and girls this particular Wrestlemania had a very short running time with the total running time for this particular Wrestlemania being three hours and fort one minuets and eleven seconds. Which for a Wrestlemania is super freaking short and even tho i was forced to watch this particular Wrestlemania on my mobile phone because the DVD I have of this particular Wrestlemania wasn't working when I put it in both my Xbox One and in an ordinary DVD player the time for this PPV event still flew by and it made me wish that alot of the more recent Wrestlemania alot shorter since this particular Wrestlemania didn't try to fit every single WWE superstar and every single female WWE superstar on the card instead this particular Wrestlemania just stuck the matches that were announced for the show and that had some storyline behind them and that works on this particular Wrestlemania favour in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

For me one of the if not the best match on the card for this particular Wrestlemania is Batista vs The Undertaker with Shawn Michaels vs John Cena coming in at a very close second. For me personally what makes the Batista vs The Undertaker match stand out is the fact that both Batista and The Undertaker really sell any injuries that they sustain during this match and as well as the fact that the Batista vs The Undertaker is just super exciting with lots of really cool moments which help make the Batista vs The Undertaker match as a good as it is but that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Overall this particular Wrestlemania is a particularly good Wrestlemania but I would fully understand it if this particular Wrestlemania had it's fans tho. I've talked about both of the good and both of the bad things that are to be found in this particular Wrestlemania in this very review as such Wrestlemania 23 gets a 7 out of 10 from me , as for where I got the images that I used in this review well i got all of the images that I used in this very review from the official Pro Wrestling fandom wiki page and nowhere else and since I only went to the official Pro Wrestling fandom wiki page for the images that I did actually end up using in this very review I have no choice but to recommend that you guys the official Pro Wrestling fandom wiki page if you want to use images from any pro wrestling event or if you want to use any image of any particular pro wrestler and it helps that all of the images that are featured /used on the official Pro Wrestling fandom wiki page are fairly high quality and as well as being fairly high definition but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

X-Men: The Animated Series "Enter Magneto" AND "Deadly Reunions" Review

Marvel fans it's been about three months since i've last spoken about anything to do with the X-Men characters and it's been about ten months since i've last spoken about anything to do with the pure greatness that is the X-Men: The Animated Series. As such I thought that i'd rectify this by taking a look at a couple of episodes from the show and so join me as I review two episodes from the X-Men: The Animated Series with the episodes in question being called simply "Enter Magneto" and "Deadly Reunions" respectively and so enjoy the review everyone.

The plot of these two episodes is Magneto is getting ready to wage a war against the humans and it's up to members of the X-Men to stop him before he starts a full scale with the entire human race. In terms of what I thought the plot of these two episodes in all honesty the plot to these two episodes was rather weak which is a shame because the X-Men: The Animated Series is known for having strong episodes with strong plotlines and as such it's kind of disheartening to see a pair of episodes have a fairly weak plot but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my honest opinion anyways.

Starring in these two episodes are Cedric Smith as Professor Charles Xavier / Professor X and Norm Spencer as Scott Summers / Cyclops. Also starring in these two episodes are Cal Dodd as Logan / Wolverine , Iona Morris as Ororo Munroe / Storm , George Buza as Hank McCoy / Beast , Alyson Court as Jubilation Lee / Jubilee , Don Francks as Graydon Creed, Sr. / Sabretooth , David Hemblin as Eric Magnus / Magneto , Stephen Ouimette as Hodge , Len Carlson as Robert Kelly and Lenore Zann as Rogue.

In terms of what I thought about the acting that's featured / presented to us in these two episodes in all honesty the acting that's featured / presented to us in these two episodes is in my opinion really good and I say that the acting that's featured / presented to us in these two episodes is in my opinion really good simply due to the fact that's it's something that I strongly believe to be the case. Simply because the acting in this show is for the most part at least very good and the same is true for these two episodes and what helps the acting in my opinion is the fact that the scripts for these two episodes are so freaking good that all the actors would have to do when  recording for these two episodes is just say the lines as they're written and boom a good performance would come out alot naturally in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Doing the animation for not only these two episodes but for this entire show as a whole is Akom Production Company and in terms of what I thought about the animation that's featured / presented to us in these two episodes. In all honesty I thought that the animation that's featured / presented to us in these two episodes wasn't that bad since there are a few shots in these two episodes that even by today's standards with the technology today would still be hard to pull as such you can only imagine how hard those shots would have been hard to pull of back in the very early nineties and yet the animation in those shots in the episode as a whole really does stand out due to how good the animation in those shots are and the animation in these two episodes as whole holds up really does hold up really freaking well but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my very humble opinion anyways.

Now then boys and girls these two episodes are the first set of episodes to feature the X-Mens arch nemesis Magneto who here has the human name of Eric Magnus. I honestly had no idea that these two episodes was were the X-Men: The Animated Series chose to introduce Magneto just simply because he's always been the big bad for the X-Men and as such i've always assumed that he appeared in either episodes one that he appeared in episode two of this show and i will admit that I really did like how they used the character in these two episodes since they show him thinking about his next step and very carefully choosing where to attack next which makes the character seem like someone who is a strategist but that's just in my humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

I will admit that I don't really like the idea that they changed Magneto's real name to Eric Magnus since it really does hit the magnet theme really on the nose. If anything the makers of this show should have kept his name to simply Max Eisenhardt or even Erik Lehnsherr just simply because those two names sound alot better and those two names aren't as on the nose as Eric Magnus well and truly is but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my honest opinion anyways.

Now this is something that I honestly didn't know about the X-Men: The Animated Series version of Ororo Munroe / Storm and that's the fact that this version of Ororo Munroe / Storm is infact claustrophobic. Just this one little change makes this version of the character seem a lot more interesting because it means that you can now possibly beat her which means that every time that she goes into battle there's a very good chance that she might not walk out of that battle alive but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.

Now then boys and girls these two episodes have a total combined running time of forty two minuets and twenty five seconds and if i'm being these episodes didn't need to be a two part episode. Since you very well could have told this story in one episode and you could have had the whole plot line with Sabretooth and Wolverine last this entire first season of the show which of then have made the fact that Sabretooth is actually working for Magneto have alot more impact but I will admit that these two episodes do have some really good pacing in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinions anyways.

Now then boys and girls this is an action show after all and there is some to possibly even alot of action in these two episodes. Which means that I have to talk about the action that's featured / presented to us in these two episodes and if i'm being honest the action that's presented to us in these two episodes is really cool and I say that the action that's presented to us in these two episodes is really cool since you get to see alot of the X-Men not only use there gifts but you also get to see them struggle against an enemy who could beat all of the X-Men without even lifting a finger and that makes the action sequences in these two episodes alot more thrilling and as well as alot more dramatic since the X-Men could very well loose against Magneto but that's just what I think anyways and that's just in my very humble and as well as being in my honest opinions anyways.

Overall these two episodes were honestly really good but at the same time I don't think that these two episodes are amongst this shows / series best episodes in my very humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways. Now then boys and girls i've talked about both of the good things in this episodes and well as both of the bad things that are in this particular episode in this very review and as such these two episodes get a combined score of a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

As for where I got all of the images that I used in this review well I got all of the images that I used in this very review from the official Marvel Animated Universe fandom wiki page. Since I only went to the official Marvel Animated Universe fandom wiki page and nowhere else for the images that I used in this very review I have no choice but to recommend that you guys use the official Marvel Animated Universe fandom wiki page just due to not only how many images there are of both of these episodes but also due to hw quality and how high definition the images that are on / featured on the official Marvel Animated Universe fandom wiki page but thats just what I think and that's just in my humble and as well as being in my very honest opinion anyways.
