Fairy Tail Anime Episodes One AND Two Review

Anime fans I have reviewed quite alot of anime films over the years and I fully intend on reviewing more anime films in the future. However i've not taken a look at that many anime TV shows or to be more precise i'm not yet taken a look at that many episodes of various different anime TV shows and while this is something I personally cannot see changing that much in the future it is something that i'm very slowly taking my time and working on fixing and so that brings me to todays review and so join me as I review episode one and episode of the TV anime that took the anime world by storm back in 2009 with the anime itself being called simply "Fairy Tail" enjoy the review everyone.

The plot of these first two episodes is a young wizard named Lucy Heartfilia wants to join the best guild in the world with that guild being called simply Fairy Tail however she discovers that joining the guild might or might be alot harder then it seems. In terms of what I thought about the plot of these first two episodes in all honesty I thought that the plot of these first two episodes was at best very weak since the story of Lucy Heartfilia joining Fairy Tail gets resolved near the start of episode which to me seemed like a rather rushed ending to that particular and it get's replaced with a story that wasn't good in my opinion but's just what I think about the plot of these first two episodes anyways.

Starring in these first two episodes are Tia Ballard as Happy , Todd Haberkorn as Natsu Dragneel and Cherami Leigh as Lucy Heartfilia. Also starring in these first two episodes of Fairy Tail are Ian Sinclair as Bora , Jessica Cavanagh as Aquarius , Newton Pittman as Gray Fullbuster , Jamie Marchi as Cana Alberona , Eric Vale as Loke , Monica Rial as Mirajane Strauss , R. Bruce Elliott as Makarov Dreyar , Kayla Carlyle as Romeo Conbolt , Jeremy Inman as Taurus , Ben Bryant as Horologium and Brian Mathis as Macao Conbolt.

In terms of what I thought about the acting that's presented to us in these first two episodes of Fairy Tail in all honesty the acting that's presented to us in these first two episodes of Fairy Tail is alot better then I both remember it being as well being better then it really had any right to be and I say that acting in these first two episodes of Fairy Tail is alot better then I both remember it being as well being better then it really had any right to be because the idea behind fairy Tail is a very silly and as well as very out there idea. Since like I just said idea of Fairy Tail is a pretty silly and as well as a very out there idea and as such no one would have blamed these actors if they chose not to give that good of a performance but no the actors that are in these first two episodes of Fairy Tail do a really good job so much so that these actors are for the most part at leas still voicing these characters eleven years later but that's just what I think about the acting that's presented to us in these first two episodes of Fairy tail tho and that's just in my very humble and very honest opinions tho.

Doing the animation for these first two episodes of Fairy Tail is A-1 Pictures and Satelight with both A-1 Pictures and Satelight also providing the animation for the rest of this first series of Fairy Tail. In terms of what I thought about the animation that is / that's presented to us in these first two episode in all honesty the animation that's presented to us in this first episodes isn't that bad and the animation that's presented to us is alot better then alot of the animation that was to be seen in other anime that came out in 2009 but that's just what I think anyways.

Now given how popular the character of Lucy Heartfilia was when this show was first being broadcast / released you'd be forgiven if you mistakenly thought that Lucy Heartfilia was the main character of this show. However the only reason why Lucy Heartfilia was everywhere when this show was first being broadcast / released is because she's s**y and well s*x sells as such you can imagine my surprise when I found out that the main character of this anime show isn't Lucy Heartfilia but is instead Natsu Dragneel.

While I do understand why Lucy was promoted alot when this show was first being made / broadcast / released since it's easier to sell a series if it has a cute girl in it then it is to sell a series if it a has a fire eating fighter in it. At the same time there's next to nothing in these first two episodes that even hint at the fact that Lucy could have been the shows main character which is a shame because if she was better written then she could have been a more interesting character but in these first two episodes at least Lucy isn't that well written at all because she's not given a personality or I think any kind of flaws but I could be wrong tho and while the character might get more interesting as the show / series goes on you only get one chance to make a good first impression and these first two episodes of Fairy Tail didn't make a good first impression with the character of Lucy Heartfilia in my humble and in my very honest opinion anyways.

I will fully admit that I was never that big of a Fairy Tail simply / mostly because this show first came out when I was either in sixth form collage or when I was actually in collage and as such I had little to no interest in any kind of anime at that time. Which is a shame because this does seem like it's a really good show and have read more then my fair share of issues from the Fairy Tail manga and if the anime more then lives up to the manga then i'd be more then happy (yes that pun was very much intended) to check out some of the other episodes of even some of the movies from the Fairy tail anime franchise in the near or even in the distant future.

Now then don't hold me to this but but I think that the combined total running for both of these first two episodes of the Fairy Tail anime is about forty five minuets but I could be wrong and I most likely am very wrong as well and I feel that having this story play out over two episodes really wasn't needed and I say that this story being told over two episodes simply wasn't needed due to the fact that you could have told this whole story in one episode and because there isn't enough story to cover or even warrant two episodes. Heck if you did tell this story over one episode you could have had the first half of the episode be what was in the first episode of the Fairy Tail anime and the second be what was in the second episode of the Fairy Tail anime and the best thing of all is you'd have to loose nothing that's important to the actual story but you would for obvious reasons have to cut down on a lot of the filler scenes which are in both of these first two episodes of the Fair Tail anime but that's just what I think anyways.

Now then boys and girls since the Fairy tail anime and the whole Fairy Tail franchise is an action franchise and there is action in these first two episodes that does mean that I have to talk about the action that's featured / presented to us in these first two episodes of the Fairy Tail anime and in my opinion the action that's presented to us in these two episodes of the fairy tail anime is freaking fantastic. Simply because the action that's presented to us in these two episodes of the Fairy Tail anime is so much fun to see and the action in these first two episodes of the Fairy Tail anime is also full to the brim with cool moments which for an action anime is in my opinion at least a really good thing simply because you always want some really cool moments to happen in your action scenes regardless of if your an anime or not if your even animated or not since having some really cool moments in your action sequences is a sure fire way to get your audience excited and that's what the action sequences / action scenes do in this first two episode of the Fairy Tail anime in my personal as well as humble and as well as my honest opinion.

Overall I honestly really did like these first two episodes of the Fairy Tail anime since there was lots of action and lots of comedy. However there were also some bad things about both of these first episodes and since i've talked about both of the good and both of the bad things that are in these first episodes episodes of the Fairy Tail anime in this very review then I have to say that these first two episodes of the Fairy tail anime get a combined score of an 8.5 out of 10 from me / this anime fan.

As for where I got the images that I used in this review well I got the images that I used in this review from either Google Images or of course the official Fairy Tail fandom wiki page. With my preferred website to use for images from either of these first two episodes of the Fairy tail anime being of course the official Fairy Tail fandom wiki page just simply due to how shockingly high quality as well how shockingly high definition almost all of the images on the official Fairy Tail fandom wiki page but that's just what i think anyways.

My Very First SPOILER FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Impressions Of Godzilla: Singular Point

Well then Godzilla fans I had planned on reviewing the 1962 Godzilla and King Kong movie which was / is called simply King Kong Vs. Godzilla and well you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men. I will fully freaking admit right here and right now that I straight forgot about this show and I will also fully admit that I straight forgot about this show even being a thing let alone that it was coming out this year and so boys and girls here are my very first SPOILER FREE first impressions of the new anime show that bares the Godzilla name and is set in the world of Godzilla with the show itself being called simply "Godzilla: Singular Point" and so enjoy reading this post everyone.

The plot of this episode is co-workers Yun Arikawa and Haberu Kato are tasked with finding with the source of a mysterious noise but also tasked with finding the source of that same mysterious noise is one Mei Kamino all the meanwhile Yun and Haberus boss Goro Otaki is working on a robot that could potentially save the universe if only people would believe that he doesn't have a screw or two loose that is. In terms of what I thought about the plot of this episode in all honesty the plot of this episode is exactly the kind of plot that you'd expect from the first ever episode of a Godzilla anime in that the actual plot itself is pretty weak which is to be expected given that it's a TV series but at the same time the plot of this episode is pretty interesting in my humble and honest opinion and it does make me want to watch the next episode and the plot of this episode does make me want to watch the next episode just so i can see what happens next to these (so far) pretty likable characters but that's just what I think about the plot of this debut episode anyways.

Starring in this episode is Yume Miyamoto as Mei Kamino , Shoya Ishige as Yun Arikawa and Taro Kiuchi as Haberu Kato. Also starring in this debut / premiere episode is Wataru Takagi as Goro Otaki , Misaki Kuno as Pero 2 , Rie Kugimiya as Jung , Jin Urayama as Tsunetomo Yamamoto , Yohei Azakami as Shunya Sato , Hiromi Yoshiyama as Norikiyo Fujiwara , Hiroshi Naka as The Police Chief , Genki Yoshimoto as Police Officer , Hiromichi Tezuka as The Busdriver , Miyu Komaki as The Bus Announcer , Ryosuke Hara as The Voice On The Car Radio and Naho Oketani as The Boys At The Fairground / The Fun Fair / The Fair.

In terms of what I thought about the actual acting that's resented to us in this episode in all honesty i thought that the acting that was presented to us in this actual debut / premiere episode was alot better then it really had any right to be and I say that the acting that was presented to us in this actual debut / premiere episode was alot better then it really had any right to be because nobody would go into a Godzilla anime expecting. As such it was honestly refreshing to see that this debut / premiere episode had some really good acting in it or well this debut / premiere episode has good acting in it in my humble and very honest opinion anyways.

Doing the animation for not only this episode but thus the rest of the series is BONES and Orange and these are two companies that I personally haven't heard of so don't worry if you guys haven't heard of them because like I just said I haven't heard of them either. In terms / as for what I thought about the animation that's in this episode in all honesty the animation that's in this episode to me at least nothing special since in my personal opinion at least there was nothing that truly stood out about the animation that's in this episode which given that the first is the first episode of a brand new anime that's honestly to be expected since you don't won't the first episode of a brand new anime to blow it's entire animation budget in the very first episode of a whatever the brand anime show is being called but that's just what I think anyways.

Now then boys and girls for those of you that dont know or just straight up forgot believe it or not this isn't the first Godzilla animated project heck it's not even the first Godzilla anime. Since the earliest Godzilla animated project that I could find was the 1978 American animated series which was called simply "Godzilla" which was show that was pretty much for kids and the earliest Godzilla anime was the 2017 CGI Godzilla anime film with the film itself being called simply "Godzilla: Planet Of The Monsters" however this show is the very first Godzilla anime TV show tho and so far this series seems to be pretty freaking good in my humble and honest opinion that is anyways.

I honestly don't know why it's taken roughly or even close to or even around sixty to seventy years for Godzilla to get his first anime series. Since the character is ripe for an anime since he's a fairly complex character with Godzilla being portrayed as being both a hero and a villain in the Japanese and American Godzilla films and Godzilla has a pretty dark backstory which is makes the character perfect for an anime series plus there are stories in an anime TV series that while you could tell them and in some cases they did tell them in a Godzilla those same stories would also be perfect for a Godzilla anime TV series in humble and very honest opinions anyways.

Now then boys and girls this episode has a total running time of twenty three minuets and thirty five seconds which I think is the perfect running time for this particular episode and I say that twenty three minuets and thirty five seconds is the perfect running time for this particular episode simply because there's not much actual story being told. Which like I said makes sense because this is the first / debut / premiering / premiere episode of a new anime and so it makes sense that the story would bit a of a slow burn because they have to somehow find away to hook you into this show and thus get you to watch not only next weeks episode but all the episodes in this show and as such it really wouldn't make sense for this episode to have a long running time or even have a running time that's even close to thirty minuets or even forty five minuets in my humble and very honest opinion anyways.

Now then if you remember the 2014 American live action Godzilla film which was called simply "Godzilla" you'll remember that alot of people myself included had one major complaint about that film and while I won't mention what that complaint because it's spoiler for this episode i'll just say the same problem is in this episode. However in this episode it actually makes alot of sense since this is a TV series and not a theatrically released film but that's just what I think anyways.

Now then boys and girls sadly there is one part of the episode that I simply cannot talk about because it's spoiler and while it is bad that this thing is in this first episode like i just said for an anime TV series based around and set in the the world of Godzilla it actually makes alot of sense that this thing isn't in this debut episode. However I can say that there are some honestly really funny and in all honesty laugh out moments in this episode and all of them feature the character of Mei Kamino who i think is going to become this series comic relief character but that's just what I think tho anyways and that's just in my humble and very honest opinions anyways.

Overall this was in all honesty not that bad of an episode since it did all of the things that a good debut / premier / pilot episode should do in my opinion. However it doesn't have any of the things that people love about the Godzilla film franchise in my humble and honest opinion and as such I can honestly see die hard Godzilla fans not liking this episode but also either not liking this anime series or just straight up trashing this particular anime series just based of this first / premier / debut / pilot episode and yes i've talking about both of the good and of the bad things that are in this episode in this very review and since this is only my very first impressions of the show I won't be giving this show a rating since it would be fair for me to judge this show just based of the first episode since any TV show anime or live live action can have a bad first episode just like any anime or live action TV show can have a good first / premier / debut / pilot and as such it wouldn't be fair of me to judge this entire show just based of this episode.

As for where I got the images that I used in this review well I got all of the images that I used in this review from the official Wikizilla fandom wiki page and the official Godzilla fandom wiki page. With my preferred website to use the images from this particular episode that I used in this review being the official Wikizilla fandom wiki page just simply because it was the only website that had images from this episode and it also had a complete cast list and yeah i'm going to cancel the Godzilla Vs. Kong tie in which would have been King Kong Vs. Godzilla simply because I need a break from taking a look at things to do with Godzilla.

Justice League: The Animated Series "Secret Origins" Parts One , Two And Three Review

Animation fans I thought that with Zack Snyder's Justice League currently doing the rounds on HBO Max I thought now would be the right time to remind people of a show that they perhaps either forgot about or just straight up didn't even know about in the first place. I will admit that after watching this three part episode I honestly felt that the story in this episode could have been the plot / story of a future live action Justice League movie and so join me as I review the three episodes of Justice league: The Animated Series with the episodes being called simply "Secret Origins" enjoy.

The plot of this three part episode is Earth in under threat from an alien invasion and so it's up to Batman , Superman , Green Lantern (John Stewart) , The Flash (Barry Allen) Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl to put a stop to this invasion before all of life on earth is wiped out for good. In terms of what I thought about the plot of this three part episode in all honesty the plot of this three part episode is really freaking good just everything about the plot of this three part episode really worked for me so much so that I couldn't help picture this plot of this three part episode as the plotline / storyline of a possible future live Justice League because the plot of this three part episode was so freaking good in my humble and honest opinion.

Starring in these episodes is George Newbern as Clark Kent / Superman and an Imperium soldier and Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne / Batman and as a Technician. Also starring in these episodes are Susan Eisenberg as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman and as a Mother , Carl Lumbly as J'onn J'onzz / Martian Manhunter , Michael Rosenbaum as Barry Allen / The Flash and as a Protester and as as Martian , Phil LaMarr as John Stewart / Green Lantern and as Ed Reiss and as The General and as a Rioter , Maria Canals as Hawkgirl and as a Little Girl , Corey Burton as a Bald technician and as a Doctor , Max Brooks as Howie , Clyde Kusatsu as The Japanese Ambassador and as The Asian Technician and Gary Cole as J. Allen Carter.

In terms of what about the acting that's presented to us in these three episodes in all honesty the acting that's presented to us in these three episodes is really freaking good. Which in all honesty shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone since all of the DC Animated Universe TV Shows and films had good acting as such it's not really a surprise to see that there's good acting in these three episodes altho I will admit it was rather jarring hearing George Newbern as Clark Kent / Superman since just yesterday I had heard Tim Daly as Clarke Kent / Superman in the movie / film / TV episode of Superman: The Animated Series which was called simply "The Batman Superman Movie: World's Finest" but that's just what I think anyways.

Doing the animation for all three of this three part episode / story is Koko Enterprise Co., LTD. don't worry if you haven't heard of them because in all honesty i've not even heard of Koko Enterprise Co., LTD. either. In terms of what about the animation that's in all three of these episodes in all honesty the animation that's in all three of these episodes really did surprise me because I thought that the animation that was in all three of these was really good and heck i'd go as far to say that the animation that's in all three of these episodes is alot better then the animation that's in "The Batman Superman Movie: World's Finest" just because the animation that we get in these three episodes is really energised and there are some really fluid movements from all of the characters as well all of which make the animation in these three episodes really good and in my opinion easily better then the animation that's seen in "The Batman Superman Movie: World's Finest" in my humble and honest opinion anyways.

Now then this show is responsible for introducing Wonder Woman into the DC Animated Universe (DCAU) and as well as introducing Wonder Woman into the DCAU we also get her arriving to man's world. I honestly thought that it was very brave of the makers of this show to introduce a key character like Wonder Woman without really giving out much details about her origin simply because any of the main stream audience who was watching this three part might not have been aware of firstly who Diana Prince /Wonder Woman even is and secondly they might even be aware of the origin story for Diana Prince / Wonder Woman and so introducing Diana Prince /Wonder Woman in this three part episode without doing her origin was in my opinion at least a very brave move on the makers of this shows but that's just what I think anyways.

I will admit that I liked how all of the other members of the Justice League are introduced since it would be rather jarring to see what each of the Justice League members are like when they are not fighting crime. As such having them all show up to help out Batman , Superman and Martian Manhunter to me makes a lot of sense since it stream lines the story and it makes the villains of this three part episode seem like even more of a threat because it shows us the audience that these villains can't be defeated by either Batman , Superman or Martian Manhunter and so it's going to take all of the heroes that we meet in this three episode storyline to defeat these villains but that's just what I think anyways.

Now for some strange reason the makers of this show thought that it would be a great idea to have a fully CGI animated opening title sequence now while the CGI that's in the opening title sequence to Justice League: The Animated Series it is however something that has aged horrible since the CGI looks horrible. In fact i'd go as far go as far to say that the CGI that's featured in the opening title sequence to Justice League: The Animated Series is pure nightmare fuel because all of the members of the Justice league look terrible and the quality of the CGI that's in the opening title sequence to Justice League: The Animated Series is at best horrible since it looks like the kind of CGI that you'd see in a late Playstation 2 game cutscene but that's just in my humble and honest opinion tho.

Now all three of these episodes run for a total of at least one hour and four minuets but there's more then a huge chance that I could be wrong tho so don't hold me to that running time. I honestly like the fact that this story was spread out over three episodes since it gives the story more time to breath instead of the story being rushed in either a standard twenty two minuet episode or two episodes which would have a total running of at least forty four minuets plus it makes the story feel alot more epic as well in my humble and honest opinion.

Now then boys and girls since Justice league: The Animated Series is an action and since there is action in these three part episodes and that means that I have to talk about the action that's in this three part episode and if i'm being honest the action that's in this three part episode is exactly as fun as you'd want it to be. Since it's always fun seeing all of the Justice League fighting together and it helps that we see alot of just really cool as hell moments in the action scenes that appear in these three episodes but that's just what I think tho.

Overall this was a really good start to the series in my humble and honest opinion and it just goes to show you how good a Justice League animated TV show can truly be. Now then boys and girls this isn't a perfect episode by any means / any stretch of the imagination but it's a damn close one tho since i've talked about both of the good and the bad things that are in this three part episode in this very review and as such this episode gets a 8.5 out of 10 from me , as for where I got the images I used in this review well I got all of the images that I used in this review from either the official DC Animated Universe fandom wiki page , the official Wonder Woman or the official Young Justice fandom wiki page with my preferred website to use to get images from this review being the official DC Animated Universe fandom wiki page just due to how shockingly high quality the images are.

The Batman / Superman Movie: World's Finest Film Review

Ladies and gentlemen i've reviewed a few of episodes of Batman: The Animated Series and while I will and do fully intend to review review more episodes of both Batman: The Animated and Superman: The Animated Series as well as Justice League: The Animated and Justice League Unlimited. There is one animated crossover that alot of people seem to have forgotten about or just straight up don't know about and that's the crossover between Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series and so join me as I review the film / TV show episode that is called simply "The Batman / Superman Movie: World's Finest" enjoy.

The plot of this film is The Joker and Harley Quinn go to Metropolis and strike a deal with Lex Luthor and it's up to both Batman and Superman to figure out why The Joker and Harley Quinn are in Metropolis and put a stop to there evil schemes / plans once and for all. In terms of what I thought about the plot of this film / TV show episode in all honesty the plot of this movie / film / TV Show episode wasn't that bad but at the same time the plot wasn't that good either in fact you could very well make the argument that the plot to this film movie / film / TV Show episode was at best rather weak and is just there as an excuse for these two shows to crossover but I feel that the plot was at best decent but I can't deney that there are problems with the story like for example it's never explained how The Joker and Harley Quinn got to Metropolis among many other things but that's just what I think about the plot of this movie / film / TV Show episode anyways.

Starring in this movie / film / TV show episode is the great and the always super freaking talented as well THE voice of Batman we have Kevin Conroy as Batman / Bruce Wayne and Cruise Ship Captain. Also starring in this movie / film / TV Show episode is Tim Daly as Clark Kent / Superman , Dana Delany as Lois Lane , Mark Hamill as The Joker , Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor and as Janitor , Arleen Sorkin as Harley Quinn , Lisa Edelstein as Mercy Graves , Lauren Tom as Angela Chen , Bob Hastings as Commissioner James Gordon , Robert Costanzo as Detective Harvey Bullock , Joseph Bologna as Dan Turpin , Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as Alfred Pennyworth , Brad Garrett as Bibbo , John Capodice as Ceasar Carlini and Corey Burton as Binko and as the Male Terrorist.

In terms of what I thought about the acting in this crossover special in all honesty the acting that's in this movie / film / TV Show episode is exactly as good as you think it is. I say that the acting that's in this movie / film / TV show episode is exactly as good as you think it is because look at who is in it every single actors that's in this movie / film / TV show episode is such a good actor with some of them even being the definitive voice / voices for their respective characters and as such it makes sense that these actors would turn in a bunch of good / great performances in this movie / film / TV show episode but that's just what I think anyways.

Doing the animation for this crossover movie / film / TV Show episode is TMS-Kyokuichi Corporation don't worry if you haven't heard of TMS-Kyokuichi Corporation because I haven't heard of TMS-Kyokuichi Corporation either. In terms of what I thought about the animation that's in this movie / film / TV Show episode in all honesty the animation wasn't that bad in my opinion yes it wasn't / isn't up to the high quality of Batman: The Animated Series but the animation that's seen in this movie / film / TV Show episode is still really good with there being alot of great fluid movements and there some really nice explosions as well well in my opinion there are some nicely animated explosions in this movie / film / TV Show episode anyways.

Now then for some reason this movie / film / TV Show chooses not to show us the fight between Harley Quinn and Mercy Graves. Which is a shame because based of the few glimpses of their fight it could have been a really darkly funny fight and as such I have to wonder why did the makers of Superman: The Animated Series as well the makers of Batman: The Animated Series choose not to show us the fight that both Harley Quinn and Mercy Graves since they could have very easily have gotten this fight past all of the various censors and parents groups but that's just what I think anyways.

Now you might have noticed but in this review i've called this crossover a movie / film / TV Show episode and well thats because even tho this crossover is indeed called "The Batman / Superman Movie: World's Finest" it is infact three episodes from the second season of the TV show that is called simply Superman: The Animated Series. As such it is both a movie / film as well being a TV show episode and I have to say the decision to release this storyline / three episodes edited together as a movie is indeed a smart move since both Batman: The Animated Series and as well as Superman: The Animated Series were hugely popular animated TV shows and as such releasing a three crossover featuring both Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series I only wish that this crossover got not only theatrical release but also a longer running time but that's just what I think anyways.

Now I don't know if this is on all of the copies of this crossover but on the one that I watched it has the Superman: The Animated Series intro for all three parts which wouldn't be a bad thing if the intro alone didn't take up at the very thirty to fifty seconds or even sixty seconds for that matter and it has the end credits for all three parts as well. As such you can literally tell when an episode is about to end because they would build up to some big dramatic event either going down is about to happen and then boom the Superman: the Animated Series end credits would start playing and / which took me out of the movie since it reminded me that I was just watching a TV show episode but that's just what I think anyways.

Now then this movie / film / TV Show episode has a total running time of one hour and four minuets and twenty five seconds which for this story I honestly felt that the short running time didn't do the story any justice what's so ever. As such I do feel that if this movie / film / TV Show episode was given a theatrical  release and the running time was bumped up to say and hour and forty minuets then the story could have a much bigger impact and the very idea of The Joker teaming up with Lex Luthor to defeat both Batman and Superman would have meant more because the makers behind this movie / film / TV Show episode crossover would then be given the freedom to go places that both the Batman: The Animated Series and the Superman: The Animated Series just simply couldn't go to in my humble and honest opinion

Now then boys and girls this is an action movie / film / TV Show episode and that means that there is some action to be found in this movie / film / TV Show episode which means that I have to discuss the action that appears in the actual movie / film / TV Show episode itself and in my opinion the action that appears in this movie / film / TV Show episode crossover isn't bad. It's always fun seeing Superman and Batman fighting alongside each other but what makes the action stand out in this movie / film / TV Show episode is the fact that we get to see The Joker take on Superman and Lex Luthor get threatened by Batman just that simply switch with the bad guys taking on or in the case of Lex Luthor get threatened by Batman is such a fun idea and it gives us combinations that we didn't know that we wanted to see in my humble and honest opinion.

Overall this movie / film / TV Show episode wasn't bad but the issue was that it didn't live up to it's own potential since this movie / film / TV Show episode could and more importantly should have been something that was rather epic but it instead just felt like it was another three part episode and nothing more in my opinion. Now then i've discussed both of the good and as well as the bad things about / appearing in this movie / film / TV Show episode in this very review and as such this movie / film / TV Show episode gets a 6.5 out of 10 from me , as for where I got the images that I used in this review well my dear reader / readers (if there any readers out there that is) I got all of the images that I used in this review from either the official Batman fandom wiki page or the official DC Animated Universe (DCAU) fandom wiki page with my preferred website to use for images from this movie / film / TV Show episode being the official DC Animated Universe (DCAU) fandom wiki page just because there is a wide variety of images for this Movie / film / TV show that's to be found on the official DC Animated Universe (DCAU) fandom wiki page and alot of the images that are on the official DC Animated Universe (DCAU) fandom wiki page are shockingly really high quality as well shocking high definition.

My SPOILER FILLED First Impressions Of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier

Marvel fans exactly two weeks after the fantastic finale to the just as equally fantastic show that had us all hooked from episode one all the way up until episode with the show itself of course being called simply Wandavision well now Marvel / Marvel studios is back with another new TV show that is set in the world of the marvel Cinematic Universe. I will admit that I wasn't as hyped for this show as I was hyped for Wandavision but alot of that comes down to the fact that both Disney and Marvel left it until last possible second to really start promoting this show when honestly they should have been promoting this show during Wandavision which would have gotten more people hyped for this show simply due to the fact that alot of people were talking about Wandavision and as such having trailers and posters for this show come out Wandavision would have made sense but anyways the show is here now and so here are my first impressions of the show that is called simply "The Falcon And The Winter Soldier" enjoy and yes there might be some spoilers ahead.

The plot of this particular episode is Sam Wilson is still fighting bad guys as The Falcon when he decides to visit his family and help with the family business of selling fish all the meanwhile Bucky Barnes is in therapy for h8s action as The Winter Solider when he comes across an unexpected face from his past. I will admit that this episode doesn't really tell you what the plot of this show is which is why i've just the plot summery for this episode instead and in terms of what I thought about the plot for this episode in all honesty the plot of this episode was really good since this episode does a good job of catching us up on what both Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes have been up to since Avengers: Endgame and it's done in a way that doesn't grind the episode to halt and is instead done in a way that feels very naturel and organic in my opinion.

Starring in this episode and the rest of the series is of course Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon and as the winter soldier himself we have the great and super talented Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier. Also starring in this episode and in some cases the rest of this series is Wyatt Russell as John Walker / U.S. Agent , Erin Kellyman as Karli Morgenthau / Flag Smasher and Adepero Oduye as Sarah Wilson.

In terms of what I thought about the acting that's presented to us in this debut episode in all honesty I thought that the acting that's presented to us in this debut episode was in all honesty really freaking good and i'm not just saying that because I like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I'm saying it because it's honestly true all of the actors that appear in this episode give us some really good performances in my opinion and that just doesn't apply to the old / returning actors either it applies to the entire cast since every new character that's introduced in this episode at least is so well cast and because of the fact that all of the new characters give some really good performances as well but that's just what I think about the acting that's presented to us in this debuting / premier episode anyways.

Doing the CGI for this episode and I assume the rest of the series / show / season is Crafty Apes , The Third Floor , Trixter and the greats and the legends over at Weta Digital. In terms of what I thought about the CGI in this episode in all honesty the CGI that's in this episode really did blow me away simply because the CGI effects in this episode looked like that they belonged in a feature length film and not on a weekly TV show that's being made for a streaming service I only hope that this high level of CGI effects continues in this show show.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now there is one name that I chose not to credit for starring in this episode simply because i wasn't quite sure if it was a spoiler or not and so I thought that I best play it safe credit this person in the spoiler section of this because yes also returning from the Marvel Cinematic Universe films is the great and super talented Don Cheadle as James Rhodes. I'm honestly not quite sure as to why they included Don Cheadle since it really doesn't make any kind of sense in the scene that he appears in but at the same it was still pretty freaking cool to see the character again in my opinion.

Please note I do not consider the images that I used when crediting some of this episodes cast as that images doesn't spoil anything from this episodes plot hence why there is no spoiler section at the start of this post. We do get to see what Sam Wilson's family life is like and that was perhaps the least interesting aspect of this particular episode for me personally just because it doesn't really tell us that much about Sam Wilson nor does it teach us / give us anything new about the character of Sam Wilson either in my opinion which is a shame because Sam Wilsons family does seem pretty interesting like for example his sister Sarah states that in the five years that Sam Wilson disappeared she had to not only raise to kids by her self but also look after the family business and as such she's become almost unable to accept help from others which honestly makes her a really interesting character in my humble and honest opinion.

Now even tho Sam's family life was the least interesting part of this episode for me personally what I found to be the most interesting part of this particular episode was Bucky going to therapy. I found that Bucky going to therapy to  be more interesting because to me it showed that even tho Bucky physical injuries have healed up he still suffering mentally from his time as The Winter Solider so much so that he I guess you could say either gets revenge on are get's payback on people that he helped while he was The Winter Soldier and hell we even get a kind if sad ending or possibly even shocking ending to Bucky's scenes in this episode when it turns out that one of his many innocent victims was the grandson of an old man that Bucky has not only been spending alot of time with but has also befriended and that made the Bucky scenes in this episode really interesting for me personally in my humble and honest opinion.

I honestly do hope that we get to see Bucky continue to go to therapy simply because it's a great way for us to connect with the character of Bucky Barnes on a whole different level. Since this is setting that we simply haven't been given the chance to see Bucky in and so it makes it interesting to see how Bucky would go about things in a therapists office much like how seeing Sam Wilson spending time with his family is a setting that we haven't seen the character of Sam Wilson in before now and heck before this show we never even knew that Sam Wilson even had a family but at the same time I would fully understand if after the second or even third episode of this if we never saw the therapist or the therapists office again or if we never saw Sam Wilsons family again since I do believe that this show is meant to be taking the characters to several countries and as such both the show really wouldn't have a way of keeping both the therapist and Sam Wilson's family around but I could very well be wrong but that's just what I think anyways.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like I said at the start of this post this show could have used a bit more marketing just because there really was nothing for this show being released when Marvel Studios was all that everyone / anyone could talk about. As such I don't really think that people are that hyped for this show heck I don't even think that alot people even know about this show which is a huge shame because this first episode is in all honesty pretty or even really good in my opinion.

This particular episode has a total running time of forty seven minuets and fifteen seconds which I feel was a bit on the long side for this particular episode. Just because outside of the scenes with Bucky there was not alot that was in my opinion all that interesting but at the same time the episode had or does have more then enough story in this episode to cover that amount of running time in my humble and honest opinion.

Now then boys and girls this is an action show and there is some action in this episode which means that I have to talk about the action that's the actual episode itself and in my opinion the action that's in this particular episode is really good. There's technically two action scenes in this episode and in my opinion both of this episodes action scenes are really well done and both of this episodes action scenes are really fun to watch in my opinion.

Overall I will fully admit to being a little bit let down by this episode just because the first episode of Wandavision was so good but at the same time this episode is also enjoyable to watch as well and I can see myself watching every episode of this particular show. Now then since this is post is only my first impressions of the show but know that I have talked about both the good and the bad things that I found with this particular episode in this post and since this is only my first impressions of the show I won't be giving this show a rating just because it's only the first episode and as such it wouldn't be fair of me to judge an entire show just based of the first episode alone. As for where I got the images that I used in this post well I got all the images that I used in this post from either the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page or Google Images with my preferred website to use for images from this show being the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page just due to the fact that alot of the images on the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page are really high quality as well as really high definition in my opinion.

Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone Dubbed Review

Anime fans it's been at least two weeks since we last spoke to each other and as such I thought I would review a movie that I honestly haven't reviewed before now and after seeing this film I don't think i'll be reviewing the movies in this on going franchise for reasons that i'll most likely get into later on in the review if I remember to that is. This is a film that along with it's first sequel I actually own on DVD and I think it was one of the first anime (be it an anime film or an anime TV show / series) that I bought on DVD but I could be wrong about that tho either way tho anime fans join me as I review the dubbed version of the film that is called simply "Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone" enjoy.

Now here I where I would normally tell you about the plot of the film and as well as give you my thoughts about the plot of the film however the makers of this film chose to do me favour and not give this film a plot. Which if i'm being honest this is the first issue that I personally had with the film since there's no story at all being told which means that there is no reason for me to care about any of the films characters and nor is there any reason for this films existence which is a shame because when this film wants to be good this film can be really good it just needed an actual story to help make those things that I thought were good in this film seem great but that's just what I think about this films lack of an actual story anyways.

As you can no doubt tell by the title of this post i'm doing this review based of the dubbed version of Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone and so starring in this film is Spike Spencer as Shinji Ikari and Allison Keith as Misato Katsuragi. Also starring in this dubbed version of the film is Colleen Clinkenbeard as Ritsuko Akagi , Greg Ayres as Kensuke Aida , Jerry Jewell as Kaworu Nagisa , John Swasey as Gendo Ikari , Justin Cook as Toji Suzuhara , Kent Williams as Kouzou Fuyutsuki , Monica Rial as Pen-Pen and Phil Parsons as Shigeru Aoba.

In terms of what I thought about the acting that's in this film in all honesty the acting that's in this film is in my opinion really good and I know that that might sound bias since the only version of this film that i've seen is the dubbed and as such these voices are the voices that spring to mind when I think of these characters. However that doesn't make it any less true since all of the actors that are in this film are really anime dub voice actors and due to how this film can at times balance something really dark and serious with something comedic , light hearted and goofy this is a great film to show what these actors can do in my opinion and because of that i feel that the acting in this film is in all honesty really freaking good in my opinion.

Doing the animation for this film is Khara and I think GAINAX but i'm not 100% certain about that tho. As for what I thought about the animation that's featured in this film in all honesty the animation that's featured in this film is alot better then what I remember it being simply because you cannot tell when this film was made since the animation is so good with all the characters having some really fluid movements that it honestly looks like that this film was made and released either last year or very early in my opinion.

Now then from what little research that I did about this film for this very review I found that this film is the start of a four film franchise which is being called simply the "Rebuild of Evangelion" which is meant to remake the anime TV Neon Genesis Evangelion but as a series of theatrically released feature length. While this is indeed a very good idea it does mean that all four of these films run the risk of becoming stale very quickly since the people who grew up watching Neon Genesis Evangelion will recognise certain plot points in possibly all four of these films and while I myself never grew up with Neon Genesis Evangelion I can see die hard fans of Neon Genesis Evangelion getting very bored with this remake film franchise very freaking quickly but that's just what I think anyways.

Perhaps the worst sin that this film commits in my opinion is the fact that in my personal opinion this film is pretty boring in my opinion. Since there's no story at all and as such it means that what should be an easy film to make not only really freaking cool but also really good is now just a boring mess of a film since the film give you no reason to like any of these characters and so your stuck watching a bunch of unlikable characters do things for no reason for an hour and thirty six minuets and that makes this film incredibly boring in my opinion.

Look i'm just going to come right out and say this but in my opinion Shinji Ikari is a really freaking annoying as heck character in my opinion and I think this simply because he doesn't stop whining and complaining. I honestly think that at least eighty percent Shinji Ikaris dialog s him complaining about something heck he even complains when someone asks him to take a bath that's how much this kid must really like whining and complaining and guess what it doesn't make him an entertaining character it makes him an annoying character to watch and this shouldn't be the case because he's the freaking main hero of this film and yet he's the one character that I couldn't stand due to how annoying as heck he was and having you main hero be an annoying as heck character is never a good thing in my opinion since it puts your audience of not only watching more scenes with this character but it also puts your audience of wanting to know more about this character since n one / nobody wants to spend time or even get to know someone who they find to be really freaking annoying but that's just what I think anyways.

Now I cannot remember exactly what the exact running time for this film is but I do know that this film has a total funning time of at least one hour and thirty seven minuets and considering that I both watched and reviewed Zack Snyder's Justice League yesterday watching and reviewing a film that's this short was a good palate cleanser for me personally. However with that being said I d strongly feel that this film went on a bit to long simply because the film had no story to tell and so there was really no need to make this film be anywhere over or anywhere near an hour and a half and with the film being as long as it is but that's just what I think anyways.

Now then boys and girls this film is an action film after all and so that means that I have to talk about the action that's in the actual film itself and in my opinion the action's presented to us in this film in all honesty isn't that bad in my opinion. However the issue is that the action that's presented to us in this film isn't that good either which for an action film is not really good thing and not helping things is the fact that the action that's presented to us in this film is stuff that we've seen done better in other monster / action movies and so the action that's presented to us in this film isn't that creative either but I will fully admit that when the action wants to be good it can be really good but it's just a shame that the action for the most part at best OK and at it's worst boring and filled with stuff that we've seen in dozens of monster / action movies before but that's just what I think anyways.

Overall the worst thing that i can say about this or any film for that matter is that I found this film to be really boring. Yes there are a few good things in this film but for me those good things are vastly overshadowed as well as vastly outnumbered but all of the bad things that are in this film and since i've talked about both the good and the bad things that are in this film in this very review this film I give this film a 4.5 out of 10 from me , as for where I got the images that I used in this review well I got all of the images that I used in this review from either the official Dubbed fandom wiki page , the official Evangelion fandom wiki page or Google Images with oddly enough my preferred website to get images frim this film from being / is Google Images since unlike both the official Dubbing fandom wiki page and the official Evangelion fandom wiki page Google Images has a vast variety of images but I will admit that the images that I found about this film on the official Evangelion fandom wiki page are fairly / pretty high definition as well as fairly / pretty high quality so I say use whichever website that you personally want to use.
