Descendants: The Rise Of Red Film SPOILER FILLED Film Review

The Descendants franchise is one that was a surprisingly big franchise for Disney as on paper the story of the kids about Disney's biggest human villains going to school with the kids of there biggest human heroes shouldn't work and yet it somehow did. With the franchise so far consisting of four films , several books a TV series and two TV specials and as such it wasn't all that surprising when a fourth films was announced and well then that very film has now been released and you all just knew that I had to check this film out the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the film that is pretty much Star Trek: The Next Generation but for Disney characters with the film in question being called simply just "Descendants: The Rise Of Red" enjoy.

The plot of this film is Princess Red daughter of the Queen Of Hearts find her and the Chloe the daughter of King Charming and Cinderella going back in time in order to prevent something that happened to Red's mother when she first attended Auradon Prep. Now then interms of what I personally thought felt about the actual plot that's actually featu4ed / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the problem as the plot of this film wasn't all that good either and while yes it could be argued that the plot of all three of the previous weren't that good either they were at the very least plots where you couldn't see what the next big plot point was going to be where as with this film it's painfully obvious what all of the big plot points are going and because of that is the fact that this films plot looses any and all of surprises that it could have had this is despite the fact that the plot of this film is still a fairly decent plot in it's own right with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Kylie Cantrall as Red , Malia Baker as Chloe Charming and China Anne McClain as Uma. Also starring in this film is Dara Reneé as Uliana , Rita Ora as The Queen Of Hearts , Ruby Rose Turner as Bridget , Morgan Dudley as Ella , Joshua Colley as Hook , Peder Lindell as Morgie , Melanie Paxson as Fairy Godmother , Grace Narducci as Fay , Levin Valayil as Aladdin , Kabir Bery as Teen Aladdin , Shazia Pascal as Jasmine , Aiza Azaar as Young Jasmine , Jeremy Swift as Merlin , Leonardo Nam as Maddox Hatter , Alex Boniello as Jack Of Diamonds , Sam Morelos as Meadow , Mars as Young Maleficent , Anthony Pyatt as Young Hades , Julee Cerda as Evil Stepmother , Paolo Montalban as King Charming and Brandy as Cinderella.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Which is pretty par the course for these films and to this films credit the acting that's in this film was alot better then what it really had any right to be this is mainly due to the fact that the film really does have some actors from the previous films reprising their roles in this film and it really does have two actors reprising their roles from other films as well all of whom really would know best on how to portray there character in any given situation but at the same time this films acting really is also fairly held back by alot of the films newer cast members as actors like Rita Ora , Kylie Cantrall and Grace Narducci while they really are passable in this film just can't hold a candle to the rest of this films cast members in anyway whatsoever as there just really not that good from an acting point of view with the acting in this film not really being helped by the fact that the script for this film really is just so bad as it gives none of this films cast absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is there respective characters personalities is even meant to be in this first place which is something that really does hold back the overall quality of the acting that's in this film as that's just how bad the script for this film really is.

Doing the CGI for this film is the legends and the really greats that are currently over at Ingenuity Studios. Now the  interms of what I personally thought /felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really bad which is something that does make sense as this film most likely didn't have that big of a budget in the first place and it's effects budget would have been even smaller then the films production budget and while yes all of the CGI in all of the previous films was never all that good in the first place the effects on those films at least looked like they were there on set where as here alot of the CGI looks fake at best and just down right cartoonish at worst and while having bad CGI in this film means that the effects in this film keep in line with the effects in the previous films bad effects are still bad effects.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

What was surprising was the fact that this film including a touching little tribute to actor Cameron Boyce. With the Uma character mentioning that her sending an invitation for the Princess of Wonderland to join Auradon Prep is something that he would have wanted which is both touching as it's a nod to the actor who of course passed away just before the airing of Descendants 3 but it's also dark as it kind of hints that his character died as he's only mentioned in the past tense where as alot of the other characters from the original trilogy of films are all referred to in the present tense which means that it's canon that a key character in this franchise died which is most likely the only thing that they could have done with his character as there was always going to be the elephant in the room of them doing another film in this franchise and he wasn't going to be in it and so the makers of this film did kind of have to address why not only he but also the rest of the original characters weren't going to be in this film and to the films credit they do it in a way that makes sense but for the rest of the original characters also leaves it open for them to return should they decide to do a fifth movie.

This film is basically the franchises version of Star Trek: The Next Generation in it certain characters from the original do appear but it mostly features and focuses on new characters and tells an original story. However tho that's not something that works well for this film as the last two films already introduced characters that could have taken over as the new lead characters should they have chosen to bring them back which would have worked really well as we the audience would have already have known those characters and so that connection would already have been there and yet the makers of this film instead chose to a whole cast of characters and just straight up ignore the fact that the previous two films already introduced characters that could have filled in the roles of the new leads characters which wouldn't be a bad thing if the new characters were interesting or even fun characters and yet there not all that interesting as all they are are just cardboard cut out replacements of the characters that there meant to be replacing where as with both Descendants 2 and 3 they had unique characters that all could have stood up on there own and feel different from the characters that there meant to replacing in the first place.

As with all of the previous films this film is a musical and while it would be great to name who wrote the songs for this film or even what the name of the songs are sadly none of that is available online. With the songs in this film being perfectly in line with the songs from the previous film in that there nothing more then safe cookie cutter songs that would most likely get alot of air time on Radio Disney with the best song in the whole entire film being the sing that introduces the past versions of classic Disney heroes and villain which is a fun and unique number that is really well sung by actress Ruby Rose Turner but let's not only that song down but all of the songs in all of the films this one included is the fact that it's over produced and very busy and in the case of this film alot of the songs also have alot of auto tune which makes it feel like that your just listening to a machine and not listening to a character sing as they normally would do and while yes this film does have some decent songs in it sadly none of them are memorable songs that are going to stick in your head long after the film has finished.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running tie of exactly one hour and thirty one min uets and forty four seconds. Which is pretty on brand not only for this franchise but also for Disney Channel Original Movies as a whole as well but where as all of the other Descendants films have more then enough there interms of plot to really cover that large amount of running time this film doesn't as this film instead feels alot like a thirty minuet special that was instead stretched out to feature length with alot of the scenes in this film not really adding to the main plot of the film are instead just to pad out the films running time this is made worse when you take into account that this film has a time travel which then doesn't make sense as Red was only allowed into Auradon Prep due to the fact that years after Red's mother became a dictator and took over Wonderland and raised an entire army to help her do it that entire part of the country was then locked of and the entrance to it was closed for good and yet due to the time travel her mother is now good and yet for some reason Wonderland was still locked off even tho it wouldn't as she wouldn't have taken it over and raised an army as she'd now be a hero type of character this is something that could have been fixed if the film used some of it's running time to explain what's happened in this time line but it doesn't but I will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action film that means that I gave to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us un this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. Which is to be expected as these films never really had that much great action in them with alot of them looking like action scenes that you'd find in a small budget TV show and to this films credit it does try to do something new with the action by having them incorporate alot more elements of CGI which yes does take away some of realism away from the action in this film but at the same time tho it is something that does make the action in this film feel unique and different from the action in the other films which mostly took part in obviously fake sets where as here they could at least make the effort to make the action look visually different from those in the rest of the films but that doesn't make the action in this film any good as all it does is make the action look passable which to be fair is also true for the rest of the films in this franchise as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall as a spin off film this film does fair really good but as a sequel film this film doesn't fair all that well as it finds a way to write out all of the main characters from the original films and essentially act as a way for new fans to join the franchise but at the same time tho there's nothing in this film to warrant it's existence in the first place in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Descendants fandom wiki page , the official Disney fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very film that I used in this very review being the really great the official Disney fandom wiki page really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very film and are really of course really up and really on the official Disney fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and really as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Dragon Ball Z Kai "Prologue To Battle! The Return Of Goku!" , "The Enemy Is Goku's Brother?! The Secret Of The Mighty Saiyan Warriors!" AND "Life Or Death Battle! Goku And Piccolo's Fierce Suicidal Attack" Review

Dragon Ball Z is perhaps one of the most well known anime out there with it being one of the very few anime to not only make it big Japan but also across the world as well. As such back in 2009 it really was a shock when it was announced that the entire series really was going to be rebroadcast and even more shocking when it announced the series was being remastered with a new HD transfer and that must of the original cast barring a very few others really were coming back to-record there lines to enhance the sound quality of each episode and so then join me as in review the episodes that helped to introduce this truly iconic franchise to a new generation of fans with the episodes in question being called simply just "Prologue To Battle! The Return Of Goku!" , "The Enemy Is Goku's Brother?! The Secret Of The Mighty Saiyan Warriors!" and "Life Or Death Battle! Goku And Piccolo's Fierce Suicidal Attack" enjoy.

The plot of these episodes is when Goku's young son Gohan is kidnapped by his alien brother it's up to Goku and Piccolo to defeat this new threat before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these episodes well then in all honesty I in ll honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad as this is only the series first saga and as a result of that is the fact that it would be really foolish to expect a top tier plot right from the get go and yet the plot of this episode was alot better then what it really had any right to be as while the plot of these episodes does a good job of filling us in on where these characters are at this point in time it's also a plot that really is the kind of plot that you'd expect from the opening of a show like this in that it's nothing that's all that to deep and complex with the plot of these episodes also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these episodes is Sean Schemmel as Goku , Colleen Clinkenbeard as Gohan and Christopher R. Sabat as Piccolo , Grandpa Gohan and Vegeta. Also starring in these episodes is Cynthia Cranz as Chi-Chi , Justin Cook as Raditz and Malaka , Monica Rial as Bulma , Sonny Strait as Bardock and Krillin , John Swasey as Farmer , Mike McFarland as Master Roshi , John Burgmeier as Tien , Linda Young as Frieza and Doc Morgan as The Narrator.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty really good. Which really isn't all that surprising as alot of these episodes voice actors are not only a hunch of really good voice actors in there own right but alot of them hare also reprising their roles from Dragon Ball Z and are so well known for playing these characters that it's hard to picture anybody else playing these characters with these actors having played there respective characters for so long now that they really would know what kind of performance really would best suit there character in any given situation with the acting in these episode also being helped by the fact that the script for these episodes is just so good that all these episodes actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in these very episodes.

Doing the animation for these episodes is of course the legends and the greats that are currently over at Toei Animation. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty really good which isn't really all that surprising given that this show is being made by Toei Animation who really do know how to create some really good looking animation with even the things that they they manage to do from an animation standpoint in this episode looking really impressive as they have the camera follow Goku as he flies up the side of a mountain which is something that would really is hard to make look good today and they somehow managed to make it look good back in the late eighties and early nineties with all three episodes having moments like that that really do make you stand up and take notice at just how well the animation in these episode really has aged.

For understandable reasons episode one of this show does have a recap of Dragon Ball which is something that does make sense. However at the exact same time tho the recap eats up almost four minuets of the episodes running time something which could have been cut down to just the bare essentials and while it is understandable why there was a recap at the start of this episode as it serves as a way to catch up old fans with the story thus far and introduce new fans to the story without having to make them sit through hundreds of episodes and several movies and specials of a TV show that they might not like which is a possibility as Dragon Ball wasn't as big as Dragon Ball Z was but at the same time they could have cut down alot of the recaps to just the things that absolutely essential to the story of the show and not include things like Gou fighting Piccolo's father which doesn't factor into the plot of either these episodes nor this show and yet they make sure to remind you that that was a thing when that's something that they don't really need to do.

To these episodes credit the remaster really does look good as the images is now updated to at the very least 1080p. However with that being said the edits that they make to the episodes don't really work as now instead if ending at a place that is natural for that particular episode alot of them end at what was half way through the next episode when it was being originally aired which does make the endings lack that impact that they had in the original broadcast but at the same time tho alot of these edits could also be chalked up to the fact that there streamlining the story and that does mean making the episodes look like that they flow into each other instead of each episode having a beginning , a middle and an end with this being least effective in episode two where the episode does end at a somewhat natural place with Raditz telling them that there are two more saiyan's just like him coming to earth which does feel like a natural place to end that episode as it's a good solid cliffhanger to end that episode one and heck out all three episodes it's episode two that's the the strongest of the three of the three episodes as it's all about advancing the plot.

All three of these episodes do have some really good moments in them with episode o e having that great shot of Goku flying up the side of the mountain to get to Gohan on the other side. With episode three it's the entire battle scene but with episode two it's the shot where Piccolo and Goku are just talking to each other as that scene represents two enemies basically starting to become friends something which while born out of necessity as Raditz is meant to be stronger then both of them combined at this point in time it does go to show that when push comes to show and when both of recognize a threat to the earth that they are both willing to put aside there own personally rivalry in order to the right thing with this being something that we would see all through these opening saga's of the show and it's because of this one scene of the two f them agreeing to team up and help each other that would lead to them becoming friends and heck Goku even trusts him enough to let him take care of his son Gohan.

Now then episode one and two of this show has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty three minuets and seven seconds whilst episode three had / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty three minuets and two seconds. With all three episodes having some really good running times to them as they all have more then enough there interms of plot to really cover there respective running times the only thing that lets all three episodes down is the fact that this mini saga really could have been a few more episodes long just to help with the pacing of the story as things do start to wrap rather quickly around the midway point of episode two which does make the conclusion of this mini saga not only compare out of nowhere but also not really hot as much as it would have done if it had just a few more episodes to set things up better as that would end up helping this saga out in the long run and it would allow for alot of the characters to not only have some form of character development of some form but to also play more of a bigger role in the plot of this mini saga as well but I will admit that all of these episodes really do have some really pacing to theme tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty really good. Which for this franchise isn't really a new and really shocking thing as it's the action that this show is what it's known for and it's hard to see why as the action in this shows third episode was really top notch and while yes the action in later episodes is a lot better then the action in these episodes given just how small scale these episodes are they don't really need some really cool looking action all they need is something really small scale and really basic and that's exactly what we get with that also being something that works for where the characters really are at this point in time as characters aren't that high powered yet and would there for not to be able to do all of these powerful moves that they can pull of very easily in later episodes which does make the action in this episode feel alot better then what it really had any right to be in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall all three episodes are some really strong episodes to start of this truly phenomenal anime and while yes Dragon Ball Z Kai is a good way to watch a more streamlined version of the show and it's plot it's not the best way tow watch it as that will always be by watching the original episodes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in these very episodes in this very review and as such that really does mean that all three of these episodes really do earn themselves a grand old combined score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all f the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Sailor Moon fandom wiki page , the official Dragonball fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the really wonderful the official Dragonball fandom wiki page as since all of the images that are currently up and featured / presented to us up and on the really great and really and really truly wonderful on the official Dragonball fandom wiki page are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being all really fairly freaking high in definition.

Doctor Who: Dinosaurs On A Spaceship Review

There are some Doctor Who episodes out there that let you know right from the title that there going to be a bit of silly episode. Take for example Space Babies you know right from the title that that episode is going to be alot more lighthearted and silly and well the same thing is also true for the episode that i'm going to talking about today as right really from the title you know exactly what it is that your going to be expecting from this episode and so then join me as I review the episode that gives you exactly what it says on it's title with the episode in question being called simply just "Dinosaurs On A Spaceship" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when The Doctor and Queen Nefertiti are summoned aboard a spacecraft The Doctor is told that he and the rest of his friends have just six hours to save everything on the ship before it's blown up for good. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as while yes the plot of the episode is tad bit on the ridiculous side of things that's also the point and is also something that could be said for the vast majority of things that are in this episode as well and to this episodes credit the plot is something that's also fun and isn't meant to be taken all that seriously in the first place which does have the add on effect of making it an enjoyable plot as well with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Matt Smith as The Doctor , Karen Gillan as Amy Pond and Arthur Darvill as Rory Williams. Also starring in this episode is Mark Williams as Brian Williams , Riann Steele as Queen Nefertiti , Sunetra Sarker as Indira , Rupert Graves as Riddell , David Bradley as Solomon , David Mitchell as The Voice Of Robot 1 , Robert Webb as The Voice Of Robot 2 and Richard Hope as Bleytal.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. Which is something that really isn't all that surprising as alot of this episodes cast are a bunch of really good actors all of whom know how to turn in a good performance and all of whom turn in some really good performances in this episode with the true standout performer in this episode being Mark Williams who is just simply a joy to watch as Brian Williams as it's quite clear that he's having alot of fun playing this character who is basically just an everyman and that's something that he plays really well with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does really help to raise the overall quality that's in this episode.

Doing the CGI for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at The Mill and Real SFX. Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad for the most part as the episode does have some really good looking CGI effects for the time that this episode was being made with the dinosaurs themselves looking alot better then what they really had any right to do which s mostly due to the fact that the Doctor Who creative team did have some real puppet dinosaurs there on set which did make it alot easier for the CGI team to match things like the lighting and it also made it alot easier for the actors who could actually look at something practical but at the same time there are a few dodgy looking effects near the end of the episode which do make it clear that alot of the effect from an effects point of view did go towards the dinosaurs which does make sense as we'd really be seeing them alot more then we would the villains spaceship but at the same time those bad looking CGI effects really do bring down the overall quality of the CGI that's in this very episode.

One of the best things about this episode is the character of Brian Williams who is just such a wonderful character. With him basically just being the everyman who only dreams of just doing everyday things and that's it and that is something that really does work as it makes the character extremely lovable as alot of the people watching this episode can relate to this character be it because of the fact that they are him in someway shape or form or because they know someone like him every one can relate to this character which does make him one of the most underrated characters in the shows history and it could even be argued that he was the prototype for the Graham character that we would get many years later as at there core both characters do share alot of similarities and it's not surprising given that both characters were created by the same writer Chris Chibnall and yet with Brian due to how well he's acted there's a certain earnestness about his character that makes him feel alot more human then Graham who despite being a good character in his won right just doesn't hold a candle to Brian as Brian is just that good of a character.

Heck even one of the best moment in the whole episode wasn't the episodes action scenes nor was it seeing the character interactions. It was both seeing Brian and Rory work together and finally come together as father and son something that we see them struggle to do during the vast majority of the episodes running time this is despite them both clearly loving each other which was a sweet little thing to do but the other thing that was a really good moment was the scene where Brian just sits on the edge of the TARDIS looking over the earth eating his lunch because it was human moment as even tho both Amy and Rory get to see that view of the earth all the time he never does and he likely never will again and as a result of that is the fact that he has to take that chance to see the earth from a way that so people every have done before and it's something that quite alot of us would also do if we were given the chance to do so and while Brian is a really good character he is also one of the episodes very few downsides as he really doesn't get all that much to do in the grand scheme of thing with him only being there because the plot needs him to e there for the final act and that's really it and that doesn't justify including another new character in this episode as that's one more character that you have to set up and give a personality to and that's not really something that this episode could do and still tell a really good story.

Another negative in this episode is the episodes main villain Solomon who on paper works as a character. With him being a very serviceable villain but at the same time he's also not that really developed as a character as we dont really get to know him as a character nor do we get to find out why he's evil which has the add on effect of making him evil just for the sake of being evil and not because of the fact that it's in his character to do so and while yes the character does indeed act threatening at several points in the episode with him even having wounding Brian at one point but that's not enough to make him an interesting character for comparisons sake the Daleks aren't good villain because they wound one of The Doctor's companions what makes them interesting and good villain is seeing how conniving and scheming that they can be where as with Solomon all we get to see basically amounts to a kid that's used to getting his way and getting everything that he ever wants finally being told no and he has a tantrum because of it which really doesn't make him that good of a villain as all it does is make him an annoying and forgettable character.

Now then while I cannot for the absolutely life of me remember this episode running time even was I do know that this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly forty five minuets and twelve seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for this era of the show to have but at the same time tho this episode really doesn't have alot there interms of plot to really cover that large amount running time as while the episode does have alot of plot to cover say thirty minuets it quickly forgets about the dinosaurs when we get to third act and instead the episode becomes about rescuing Queen Nefertiti when the episode could have done that and still had the dinosaurs be the vocal point and still have the upcoming threat of the ship being destroyed instead of dropping one key aspect of the episode in favor of one that was key to the episode and one that was never even a thing until they bring it up during the episodes act which makes alot of what we see with the dinosaurs during the episode come across as being filler scenes when they should have been scenes that set up that these creatures are harmless creatures that are basically prisoners on this ship but I will admit that this episode really does gave some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As we do get a very exciting action scene near the end of the of the episode which does involve The Doctor , Rory and Brian riding a triceratops which was a fun little moment as was the fact that we get to see Amy and Riddell team up to put alot Raptors to sleep while using what is basically a tranquilizer gun which is an inventive idea and it is an action scene that is done really well as Riddell is an animal hunter and so his first instincts would be to shoot the dinosaurs something which he finally gets to do in this action scene and Amy is someone who we know can handle herself thanks to what we saw her go through and series and so would be more then willing him to help out and that action scene is a very short scene what we do get to see in it was a really well done action scene in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall just like Space Babies this was a rather fun filled episode but unlike Space Babies this episode was also wonderfully silly and knew that it was a silly episode and just embraced it with it's placement in the series being episode 2 and not the first episode meant that the episode really didn't feel like a Christmas special and instead felt like an episode of the main show as a whole in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now the4n i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page and IMP Awards . Com. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the really great the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode and are really of course up and really on the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

The New Addams Family "Deadbeat Relatives" Review

It's been quite a while since anything to do with The Addams Family has been spotlighted and even longer since anything to do with The New Addams Family has been spotlight. Well I thought that now was the absolutely right time to kill two birds with one stone and talk about an episode from The New Addams Family as that's a version of the characters that really isn't talked about all that much even if it was the last time the family appeared in live action media until 2022's Wednesday and so then join me as I review that has shockingly quite alot of violence in it with the episode in question being called simply just "Deadbeat Relatives" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when Wednesday accidently brings back someone from the dead it's up to her , Pugsley and Uncle Fester to send him back before he offs Gomez and marries Morticia once and for all. Now then interms of what I personally thought  felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as unlike alot of this shows episodes this wasn't based off of an episode of the original TV show and is instead an original plot line that's exclusive to this show and with that in mind the plot of this episode whilst it isn't all that bad it's also not all that good either as it's a plot line that could have been better by showing Uncle Vlad attempting and failing to woo Morticia all the while while showing the kids and Fester trying to prevent him all of which really would have shown that this is a strong family unit and yet because of the fact that we really don't get to see much of that all the plot of this episode does is make the characters look dumb but in an enjoyable sense tho with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is The Devil's Rejects star Glenn Taranto as Gomez Addams and Home Alone 5: The Holiday Heist star Ellie Harvie as Morticia Addams. Also starring in this episode is Betty Phillips as Grandmama , Doctor Who: The Movie star Michael Roberds as Uncle Fester , Brody Smith as Pugsley Addams , Nicole Fugère as Wednesday Addams , Steven Fox as Thing , John DeSantis as Lurch and Christopher Shyer as Uncle Vlad.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As the episodes cast do make the most of what little that there given to do with the true standout performer in this episode being Christopher Shyer as Uncle Vlad who is obviously having the time of his life playing this character and that is something that really does shine through as does the fact that Nicole Fugère is also having a blast in this episode with her being a very underrated version of Wednesday and while her acting in this episode isn't as good as it has been in previous episodes that's more due to the scripts and direction that she's given and not due to her as an actress with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is so good that all this episodes cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this episode.

For some rather odd reason despite her being apart of the main plot the episode really doesn't give Morticia all that much to actually do in this episode. As while the character does appear in alot of scenes in this episode she really doesn't do anything to advance the overall plot of the episode with her instead just going along with everything that's going on in the episode which is something that a character like Morticia wouldn't do as the second that she saw that Gomez was going through something she'd go out of her way to make sure that he's OK and yet even tho this version of the character sees Gomez is going through something she doubles down on it and makes matters worse with that being really the only thing that she contributes to the plot of the episode and that's really it but apart from that she adds nothing to the overall plot of the episode and while the episode couldn't have happened without her due to her being a key part of the plot there should have been some effort to make sure that she at least adds something to the actual plot of the episode instead of just having her lie in bed and do nothing for the vast majority of the episodes running time.

As a villain Uncle Vlad is a pretty entertaining villain as he does have alot of really fun moments in this episode. With it being helped by the fact that the character does have a clear end goal in mind in trying to get Morticia to marry him and while his end goal would also come back in the two part episode Morticia's Romance it would have been better if this episode was a two part episode as it would have allowed Uncle Vlad to be alot more villainous then what he is in this episode and it would have allowed for alot more fun moments with this character as well but at the same time there's only so many time that you could see try and fail to off Gomez before it would start to get boring with that element being one of the more entertaining elements of this episode and while Vlad as a villain is a really fun villain he's also one that does have a limited shelf life as there's only so long that you can see a character like him try and fail to marry Morticia and try and fail to off Gomez and with that in mind while this episode would have been better off a two part episode it also would be stretching the character thin something that isn't the case with the episode as it is.

For a kids show this episode is also very shockingly violent as you straight up see Wednesday cut Uncle Vlad in half. While yes they do explain how he is able to survive such things as he's already dead it's still something that you wouldn't expect to see in what is quite literally a kids TV show with this being made all the more worse when you take into account that both Vlad and Gomez have a sword fight and an actual fight near the end of the episode and yet not one bit of it is censored and while yes they do have alot of kid friendly fights as well as you see Gomez and Vlad have a pillow fight and have a Thumb War that doesn't take away from the fact that the two of them do have a fairly violent fight something which does make sense for the The Addams Family as a brand as they are a family that are into the dark the macabre and would hit in each other with alot of sharp weaponry it's still shocking to see them get away with this level of violence in a kids TV show and it makes you wonder why they don't do more of it on shows where it would also make sense for them to be acting like that and it also makes you wonder why this version of The Addams Family are as violent as they really are in this very show.

As is pretty much the norm for The Addams Family adaptations they do make Wednesday the main character of this episode. Which is something that does make sense as she is the one who would be into casting spells but at the same time there's only so many stories that you can tell with her as a main character and this is sadly one of them with the episode not really doing a good job of showcasing why Wednesday needed to be the main character as they very easily could have had Grandmama fill in the exact same role that Wednesday plays in this episode with there being nothing about the plot that would needed to be changed as both characters have the same interests and it would also make alot more sense for Grandmama to be the one that brings back Uncle Vlad as she's always been written as a character that isn't the sharpest tool in the shed and as a result of that is the fact that having her be the one to bring back Vlad would make alot of sense for her character and it would also give her character something to do instead of just straight up disappearing from the episode whilst Wednesday could help Gomez out in his plot to try and Morticia for himself.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty two minuets and seven seconds. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for this show to have to this episodes credit it really does have more then enough plot there to really cover that large amount of running time and while yes this episode really would have been better if it was longer as that allow more time for the characters to get across what it id that there personalities instead of just having them all fight for screen time which is something that is very sadly the case with this episode it would also mean stretching the plot of the episode thin with this making the plot of the episode even more thinner then what it already is and while on the flip side of that is the fact that it would also mean having more Vlad which would make the episode alot more entertaining to watch when push does come to shove the plot of the episode has to always come first and if the plot of the episode doesn't require a long time then the episode shouldn't be forced to have that much more longer time but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us n this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us un this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As this episode does have alot of really cute and funny jokes about like the fact that instead of sunbathing the family at the start f the episode are moonbathing which is something that they wold do and alot of the jokes in this episode are like that as alot of that are things that these characters would say and do like the fact that Uncle Fester is openly happy that Pugsley dislocated just one of his shoulders while his on a stretching rack which is funny and it's totally in keeping with the types of jokes that these characters would indeed make and while yes alot of this episodes jokes are really good there are some bad jokes to be found in this very episode as well but those don't represent the overall majority of the jokes that are in this episode and are instead the minority of the jokes that are in this very episode as alot of this episodes jokes are really good , funny and cute jokes in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a solid episode that had alot of really funny jokes in it but at the same time tho it's an episode that did have alot of flaws in it and could have been alot better then what it actually ended up being this is despite the fact that it did have alot of things going for it it just doesn't live up to all of the potential that this episode really did have in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally use in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official The Addams Family fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the really wonderful the official The Addams Family fandom wiki page as since all of the images that are currently up and featured / presented to us up and on the really great and really and really truly wonderful on the official The Addams Family fandom wiki page are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being all really fairly freaking high in definition.

My SPOILER FILLED First Impressions Of The Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest TV Series

There are alot of very well known anime with alot of them getting sequel series which more often then not came when the series wasn't announced to be finishing up it's run. The same thing however cannot be said for the manga that this show is being based off of as it was announced while the first series was still wrapping up it's storyline and as such it would come as a bit much to try to continue this series when the fans were already excited to see how it all ended but the sequel series has just dropped the first episode of it's anime and well you all just knew that I had to check this episode the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED first impressions of the show that really didn't need to be a thing just yet with the show in question being called simply just "Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is Natsu and his friends embark on there mist dangerous quest yet to finish a quest that no one has been able to finish for over one hundred years. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as it does do a decent job of catching us up with where alot of the characters are now as well as setting up what the main plot of this show new show is going to be and what kind of new threats that these characters are going to be facing the episode is also rather light on plot which does make sense as this is only the first episode but that same time that also give us the audience no real reason to check back in and watch the remaining episodes of this show but I will admit that the plot of this episode was really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Tetsuya Kakihara as Natsu Dragneel , Aya Hirano as Lucy Heartfilia and Rie Kugimiya as Happy. Also starring in this episode is Yuichi Nakamura as Gray Fullbuster , Sayaka Ohara as Erza Scarlet , Satomi Sato as Wendy Marvell , Yui Horie as Carla , Mugihito as Elefseria , Yūichirō Umehara as Mercphobia , Yōko Hikasa as Karameel , Sayumi Suzushiro as Touka , Yumi Uchiyama as Kiria , Itaru Yamamoto as Madmole , Kenji Hamada as Skullion Raider , Shinpachi Tsuji as Makarov Dreyar , Hiroki Tōchi as Panther Lily , Wataru Hatano as Gajeel Redfox , Eiji Sekiguchi as Wakaba Mine , Masaki Kawanabe as Macao Conbolt , Mariya Ise as Romeo Conbolt , Ryōko Ono as Mirajane Strauss , Harumi Sakurai as Lisanna Strauss , Mai Nakahara as Juvia Lockser and Mariya Ise as Levy McGarden.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. Which is something that does make alot of sense as alot of this shows this shows actors are reprising their roles from the previous Fairy Tail anime series and would there for no how best to perform there respective character in any given situation and that is something that really does shine through in this episode as the episode give the best performance that they possibly could have done with the franchises newer cast members not really holding there own as alot of them just feel lost like they haven't had the time to fully find there character and while there acting might get better over time it is something that really does bring down the quality of the acting just a little bit with the acting that's in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is just so good that all the episodes cast have to do is just say the lies as they written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall of the acting that's in this episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the really greats that are currently over at J.C. Staff. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but at the same time the animation in this episode wasn't all that good either as it was was lacking that extra something that made the animation in the other series and movies stand out and really make you notice and while yes the animation in this show is really good it also could have been alot better with alot of the animation just feeling flat and not really all that interesting to look at this is despite the fact that all of the characters have some really nice movements to them there was nothing that really stood out from an animation point of view something which really wasn't an issue with either the previous shows or the previous movies for that matter in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

For some reason this episode chooses not reintroduce Natsu and his friends in away that's exciting and gets you excited to see the rest of the episode. Which is something that could be seen as being a refreshing thing to do as it would have been super easy to create an exciting action scene and have those characters be reintroduced that way and yet having them appear after the episodes opening credits just feels like a let down which does somewhat make sense as the episode does have a whole lot of new characters to introduce but at the same time the people that are watching this show aren't going to be watching this show for the new characters there instead going to be watching for there favorite characters and with that in mind not re-introducing them in an exciting way does feel like a let down as it doesn't really get you excited to see the rest of the episode as all it does is make you wonder why there taking so long to be getting to the main characters and are instead wasting time with characters that we don't know or even care about yet.

One of the things that this show really isn't known for is it's comedy with this episode having a whole lot of funny moments in it. Which is something that really wasn't expected as this is show is a continuation of the main show and as a result of that it would have been foolish to expect episode one of this show to have alot of funny moments in it and yet's that exactly what we get in this episode with there being alot of really funny moments and heck the episode even starts would could be seen as a comedic B plot involving Gajeel deciding to become a detective to spy on a new member of the Fairy Tail guild who he believes is a spy and he recruits Juvia just because of the fact that she and the new member of the guild are kind of rivals but in a more friendly kind of way which does make all of there interactions some of the funniest moments in the episode as both Juvia and the new member Touka just try and out do each other which is pure comedic gold and the whole episode is filled to the brim with moments and scenes that are like that and it's those moments that make the episode alot more entertaing to watch and alot more fun to watch as well.

The new characters in this show so far don't seem to be all that interesting as alot of them don't really get to do that much. Heck even two of them only appear near the episodes end but even so what little we do get to see of the new characters they do seem like that they have the potential to be some really fun and possibly even funny characters and while only time well tell if they live up to the older more established characters what we get t see of these new characters is the fact that could be fun main characters if they were given alot more stuff to do in the episode and yet there not given all that much to do in the episode but it's when they are given alot of stuff to do like kick-starting the B plot or by giving some plot exposition and starting of the main plot that they become interesting and even get a few funny moments and while yes it would be foolish to expect these characters to be that good from the get go it's not so much to ask that they at east get the chance to hint at what there personalities are like and while this is only the first episode you always want to lead with your best foot forward ad that does include giving the new characters a chance to show us what there personalities are like as that would give us the audience a reason to care about these new characters as well.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grad total running time of exactly twenty three minuets and fifty seconds. Which is a solid running time as the episode really does have the right amount of running time to really cover that amount of running time but at the same time tho if this episode was longer it would allow more of the side characters to show of what there personalities are like and it would give us a chance to see some of the more episode really fun interactions as well as those characters really are a highlight of the episode and yet at the same time tho if this episode was even just ten minuets longer whilst it would give us somethings that would fix several issues with the episode it would also create another one as the plot of the episode would be drawn even thinner then what it already is as the episode doesn't have alot of plot to begin with and while yes giving the side characters more of a chance to show of what there personalities are like and while it would give the chance to see the older characters have some more exciting scenes those scenes would also add nothing to the plot of the episode and would come across as being filler and really nothing all the more then that but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us n this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As we do only get the one one action scene that happens near the end of the episode but taking into account that one of the things that this franchise is known for in a more positive sense is it's action having one action scene that could at best be described as OK at best really doesn't work in the episodes favor as it doesn't give us the audience a chance to see what alot of the characters can do in a fight and while yes granted we have hundreds of other episodes and movies for that for the start of a new show that's also something that you want to be reminded as well and while the episodes actins scene is a serviceable action scene it's also one that really could have been alot better then what it already was as it really was just a nothing type of action scene that was just there just to have an action scene and not because of the fact it was something that important to the episode itself with the episodes action being something that could have been done alot more better then what it actually was in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Overall this is a show that really didn't need to exist just yet as the original series itself only ended a few years ago and no one was really calling for a new series and while there is potential in this episode for this show to be a really good show only time will tell if this show will live up to that potential in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. ow then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this post and since this is only my first impressions I won't be giving this show a rating however if this post does decently well and if you guys want me to check out another episode then I will do it and that post would then be a review of that episode and that episode only and not a review of the show as a whole.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post well then boys and girls and as well ladies and gentlemen I personally got all pf the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Fairy Tail fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to really use to get the images from this very episode that I really used in this very post being the really great the official Fairy Tail fandom wiki page simply just because of the fact that really due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are in this post really are all really from this very episode and are really of course up and really on the really great the official Fairy Tail fandom wiki page are really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.
