Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation Film Review

While the Looney Tunes brand might be going through a really tough time right now there's one piece of Looney Tunes media that doesn't get talked about all that much. That being the Tiny Toon Adventures movie as that show and movie does feature the Looney Tunes in more of a supporting role and yet both this movie and the show are only talked about be people that grew up with them and so then join me as I review the movie that sees the Tiny Toons cast have a summer vacation with the film in question being called simply just "Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation" enjoy.

The plot of this film is one that's quite hard to describe as the film doesn't just have one plot as it has several dozen plots ranging from Plucky joining Hampton and his family on a cross country road trip to Babs and Buster trying to get back to Acme Acres after a prank goes wrong. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that he actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as the fact that it has so many plots running through does make it feel more like an episode of the show but at the same time tho there's nothing about this films plot that makes it feel like that it's worthy of being the plot of a film which does make it feel like the plots of this film where just unused plots for episodes of the show only edited together to very loosely form a plot which isn't a bad thing but at the same time tho there still should have been more of an effort put into this films plots as there's only a handful of them that are actually good with the rest of them just being there and not really adding anything to the film itself which makes them feel pointless where as the if they were included in an episode of the show then they would come off as being a bit more better then what they are in this film as they just feel like that they are there so that the makers of the film can include alot more of the shows characters and that's really it with the plot of this film being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Charlie Adler as Buster Bunny and The Theater Usher and Tress MacNeille as Babs Bunny , Babs' Mother , Big Boo , Emily Duff , Roseanne Barr , Barbara Walters , Hotel Chef , Drive-thru Waitress and Horatio's Girlfriend. Also starring in this film is Gail Matthius as Shirley The Loon and Sissy Boo , Kath Soucie as Fifi La Fume , Li'l Sneezer , Little Boo and Bimbette , Don Messick as Hamton J. Pig and The Radio Announcer , Joe Alaskey as Plucky Duck , Tupelo Toad , Johnny Carson , David Letterman and Elmer Fudd , Maurice LaMarche as Dizzy Devil , Ed McMahon and Arsenio Hall , Frank Welker as Gogo , Furrball , Little Beeper , Byron Basset , Uncle Stinky and Vinnie , Rob Paulsen as Fowlmouth , Johnny Pew , Mr. Hitcher , Banjo Possum , Hotel Manager , Horatio and The Parking Lot Attendant , Cree Summer as Elmyra Duff , Mary Melody and Oprah Winfrey , Candi Milo as Sweetie Pie , Jonathan Winters as Wade Pig and Superman , Edie McClurg as Winnie Pig , Paul Julian as Road Runner and Sorrell Booke as Big Daddy Boo.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of his film actors turning some really good performances in this film which is something that really does make alot of sense as there all not only a really good bunch of voice actors in their own but are also reprising their roles from the show as well and therefor it does make sense that they would turn in some really good performances in this film as who else would best know these character then the actors that have been playing for quite some time at this point in time with it being really hard to say just who the best actor is in this film as there all so good with all of this films actors bringing something that helps to make there character feel alot like themselves when it would have been super easy for the makers of this film to loose just what it is that really made these character who they are in the first place with this being a case where all of the actors and the crew involved with the film really loving the characters so much that they wanted to do was right by those characters with that being something that really does shine through in the final film with the acting that's in this film really being helped by the fact that this films script is just so good that all this films actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Doing the animation for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Telecom Animation Film and Nakamura Production. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good as while the films animation quality isn't feature film worthy by any stretch of the imagination that was never going to be the case as this film was always going be a direct to VHS release and to be fair to this film it's animation was so good because of the fact that the animation for the show was just so good and with this film sharing the same production staff it does make sense that the animation in he film would be good as well and while yes it would have been nice to see this film get a theatrical release as that would mean much more higher quality animation the animation that we have in this film works really well for the film as the characters have always known that there in an animated show and therefor the animators can and do have fun with the kinds of facial expressions and the things that they have the characters do as there not bound by any real world logic which is something that does help to sell this animation and make it as looney and as a zany as it could have been with all of the characters having some really nice fluid movements to them and all of the films backgrounds looking really good with even the character designs for the films guest characters looking like they could fit in with the world of the show.

What is perhaps the films biggest issue is the fact that it does have so many plots going on all at the same time. With it feeling like the makers of this film wanted to get as many of the shows characters into this film regardless of if they needed to be in the film or not as almost all of the characters barring a very small handful either have plots in this movie or appear in speaking roles in this film with pretty much all of them at the very least making a quick cameo all throughout the film whilst this wouldn't be a bad thing if this one of the shows segmented episodes as then you could argue that there just going from one segment to the other with a movie however it nearly always works best if you focus on just a small handful of characters instead of cutting to a different character every few minuets as all that will do is just confuse your audience with this even having he add on effect of making it hard for the audience to care for any of the films plots as the makers of this film don't really give us a reason to care for any of the films plots as they have to cut to the next character to advance there plot lines and while certain fans of the show will be glad to see the character that they like getting some love in this movie that doesn't mean that they needed to be in the film itself with the best cases of this being both Shirley and Fifi as both of there plots would feel more at home in the show as in the film it just feels like that they are there to pad out the films running time this is despite the fact that both characters are some fairly popular characters but even with that mind the shows main villain Montana Max doesn't feature all that much in the film when he very easily could have been the main villain in the Babs and Buster plot line which is something that would have made perfect sense for his character.

This film is a musical which is something that's to be expected from this franchise with the films song being written by one of the films composers Bruce Broughton. While there aren't that many actual songs that are sung by the main cast in this film infact there's only two the two songs that the main characters do actually sing are actually pretty good with the best one being "Waiting For The Clock" which is just all of the shows main characters just begging for the school to strike three o'clock so that they can go home and start summer vacation with the song itself even weaving in a new rendition of the Tiny Toons theme song something which does oddly play a few more times throughout the film as well which given that the maker of this film do like to use different versions of the shows classic theme song in it's episodes and specials does make sense that they would do the same thing here as it makes the kid audience feel like that there watching the characters that they know and love from the show only in a longer format the issue is tho is that there aren't enough songs in this film as that's just how good that the films two songs by the films main characters are and even then the second song is just another version of the shows main theme song which makes you wonder why the makers of this film even bothered to make it a musical as they don't go all out with that aspect of it something that they could have done given the fact that this is a feature length film as then the makers of the film could have had some more catchy songs in this film something that the Animaniacs film "Wakko's Wish" would actually take full advantage off doing.

In what could be seen as being a really good move the maker of this film do have the character of Plucky Duck feature quite alot in this film. Which is something that does work both for and against the film it works for the film in two ways the first of which being outside of Buster and Babs Plucky was one of the shows more popular characters so much so that he did technically get his own spin off show with The Plucky Duck Show which only aired one new episode and just featured repeats of Plucky centric episodes from Tiny Toon Adventures and the second one being that Plucky and Hampton are always going to be comedy gold and having Plucky in a plot with Hampton and his family was always gong to guarantee some really big laughs but here's where it works against the film because Plucky just isn't that interesting of a character inside of the show as all of his is a smaller version of Daffy Duck and that's really it so he can't have that much of personality due to the fact that he's just a smaller version of a more popular cartoon character which makes it weird that the makers of this film would essentially make him one of the leading characters in this film especially since Babs and Buster who are more interesting and funny characters but are also the leads of the show alot of the time as well and are also the characters that people think about the most when they think of this show but to be fair tho this film does give Plucky some really funny scenes in this film which does justify him basically being the co-lead character of this film and while having him take on a bigger role doesn't really hurt the film it is weird considering the fact that he doesn't have much in the way of a personality outside of the fact that he's essentially just a smaller version of Daffy Duck.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and nineteen minuets and forty seven seconds. Which is a pretty solid running time for this film with the film having more then enough plot there to really cover that amount of running time but even so this film really doesn't use that running time all that wisely as it has several dozen plots to fit in and tell and it just can't do that and develop all of them in that short of a running time with this being another case for less equals more as by having lets just say one or two plots lines say for example it's just the Plucky and Hampton plot line as the side plot and for the main plot it's the Babs and Buster plot just by having those two plots alone would more then enough to support an entire movie as you don't need to have as many characters from the show in the movie as all that does is just make them feel like background characters but by just having the two plot lines then it would make that the makers of this film could have developed both plots really well which in turn would help to make this film all the more better then what it already s in the first place with the other thing that this film doesn't do thanks to it's running time is develop it's characters which isn't that big of an issue in this film as we have several dozen episodes of the show for the characters to become fully developed characters but the film doesn't even give it's newer characters much development either with alot of them just being either flat out bad guy or flat out good guy with there being no middle ground but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / featured to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With this film being genuinely quite laugh out loud funny at times which does make alot of sense as alot of the writers from the show did work on this film with the film having alot of the best writers from the show working on it therefor it does make sense that this film would be painfully funny with nearly all of this films jokes working be it from Babs saying to Superman that this isn't his film to anything with either Plucky or Fifi in it bottom line there's going to be alot of jokes in this film with it being quite hard to say just what the best joke is as there all that funny and they all fit in with the character telling it as well but if push comes to shove i've say that the best joke is anything to do Elmya as her plot line of just wanting a cat and doing anything to get it even sneaking out at the zoo is something that her character would do and seeing her just be herself around all of these animals all of which will do quite literally anything to get away from her will always be funny and to be fair the makers of this film do milk all of the scenes in which that plot plays out for all their worth joke wise that being the same thing that's also being true for alot of the side plots as there just there to tell a few jokes and that's it and while they don't really need to be in the film in the first place the fact that the makers knew when to stop them just show that the makers of this film knew when to cut them off with this allowing for the film to tell alot more jokes with nearly all of this films jokes not only working but working really well as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall whilst Wakko's Wish is easily the better made of the two films this one feels more true to the show that it's being spun off from and is alot more funnier then what Wakko's Wish was but in saying that tho this film really does have quite alot of flaws in it which do hold it back from being as good as it really could have been in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as  ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Animaniacs fandom wiki page the official Tiny Toon Adventures fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very film that I used in this very review being the really great the official Tiny Toon Adventures fandom wiki page really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very film with alot of them being better quality then what you'd really think of and all of the images are really of course up and really on the official Tiny Toon Adventures fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

My SPOILER FILLED First Impressions Of The Ironheart TV Series

It's fairly safe to say that it this point in time Marvel Studios has seemingly forgotten how to make actually good pieces of media. With the show that i'm going to be talking to you all about today actually being a first for the MCU as it's the first show that will have it's entire run all done up with by next Wednesday and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED first impressions of the show that sees us say goodbye to Phase Five of the MCU with the show in question being called simply just "Ironheart" enjoy.

The plot of this how is sometime after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Riri Williams finds herself being kicked out of school and so she decides to move back home where she then joins up with a gang of thief's in order to get the money that she needs to build her own Iron Man suit but discovers something far more sinister going on with the gangs leader. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all in all honesty not that bad but that's also the problem as the shows plot at least in these first three episodes doesn't seem to be all that good either as it just seems like that it's trying to hard to be a Marvel Netflix without actually understanding what it was that made the plots of those shows work so well in the first place as it tries to be mature and gritty just by having the characters swearing alot of the time and that's it where as the plots of the Netflix Marvel shows dealt with some very mature themes and that was what made them feel grown up and mature with the plot from these first three episodes whilst it can be good as you can see alot of the effort put into creating a decently thought out plot it' still something that does feel like that it's missing that extra special something now this is something that could all change when Disney drops the final three episodes next week but for now this shows plot just isn't as good as it perhaps could have been with the plot of these episodes being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in these episodes is Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams and Lyric Ross as Natalie Washington / N.A.T.A.L.I.E.. Also starring in these episodes is Manny Montana as John King , Matthew Elam as Xavier Washington , Anji White as Ronnie Williams , Jim Rash as Professor Wilkes , Eric André as Stuart Clarke / Rampage , Cree Summer as Madeline Stanton , Sonia Denis as Clown , Shea Couleé as Ulysses Lugman / Slug , Zoe Terakes as Jeri Blood , Shakira Barrera as Roz Blood , Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins / Hood , Harper Anthony as Landon , LaRoyce Hawkins as Gary Williams , Tanya Freeman as Dean Choi , Chaim Jeraffi as Junkyard Jim , James J.A. Houle as The Voice Of TRVOR , Tristone Dye as Caden , John Anthony Torres as Aiden , Brianna Abruzzo as Braden , Sahara Ale as Harini , Paul Calderón as Arthur Robbins , Alyse Elna Lewis as Young Riri Williams , Kent Churchill as Young Natalie Washington , Zhaleh as Sheila Zarate , David Vaughn as Hunter Mason and Alden Ehrenreich as Joe McGillicuddy.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad. As all of this shows actors do indeed turn in some really good performances in all three of these episodes which is something that does make alot of sense as alot of this shows actors are some really good actors in there own right with a few of them being some decently known names as well and even those that aren't that well known like for example Lyric Ross who really hasn't been in anything of note still does hold her own when it comes to acting against her more well known co-stars with even the shows lead Dominique Thorne being alot better then what she really had any right to be which is something that does make alot of sense as she is of course reprising her role from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with these first three episodes being a good example of showing us the audience just what she can do as an actor and while she's not perfect in these three episodes she will get better the more films and TV shows that she does with the best actor in all three of these episodes being Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins / Hood as he is just such a charismatic person that makes you want to join his little gang of thiefs even tho you know deep down that what your doing is wrong and alot of that does come from the fact that Anthony Ramos is a very charismatic person in his own right with the acting that's in these episodes really being helped by the fact that this show scripts are just so good that all these episodes actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in these very episodes.

Doing the CGI for these episodes is Legacy Effects and the legends and the greats that are currently over at Tippett Studio. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad and while yes granted the effects for any of these live action MCU shows will never be as good as the effects that they have in any of the movies the effects that are in these first three episodes were still really good as they looked alot more better then what they had any right to be and while the Iron Man suits have always been CGI since possibly Iron Man 3 maybe Iron Man 2 here the suit that Riri wears does look really good but at the same time tho you can quite clearly tell that the show doesn't have that big of an effects budget as there times in these first three episodes where her suit looks a little bit to fake which is something that does take you out of the episode as it reminds you that your just watching a TV show with the same thing being true for alot of the set extensions as well as they make it quite clear that alot of the set that your seeing either wasn't there on the say or was altered with in the post production process and it makes the whole thing just look cheap and while granted not every single effect in every single movie or TV show is going to look good but there still should have been something in place that masks alot of the bad effects as it just lowers the overall quality of the effects for these first three episodes.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those of you that are wondering actor Alden Ehrenreich isn't just playing a character called Joe McGillicuddy as his actual characters name is Ezekiel "Zeke" Stane. With the character of course being the son of the main villain from the first Iron Man film this however doesn't mean that you have to watch that movie in order to understand a thing about this show as both he and Riri pretty much go over that entire films third act in the third episode of this show with the character not wanting to be anything like his father as he saw just how mad his father became with Robotics and he even asks Riri if the heist that she and the gang are prepping who goes sideways that the one thing that she borrows from him be traceable back to him with this one aspect of the character being something that stood out as his father would have done anything to get a little bit more fame and a little bit more fortune and yet here we have his son pretty much just saying that the only thing that he wants is a nice quiet life away from that world even tho he has a silo full to the brim with illegal tech something that does make you wonder if the character is going to help out Riri by the time we get to the shows final episode next week as it would make sense for his character to do something like that as he does seem like the kind of character that might be willing to do the right thing and to standup for his friends but given how we see him act in episode two we also know that he's prone to bouts of petty revenge something that could lead him down the path to becoming a supervillain much like his father was which would be a nice bit of irony as he has spent his entire life to be the complete opposite of his father and yet he still very well could end up being exactly like him in the end.

What does seem to be somewhat interesting is the fact that the show does seem to showing Riri coming to terms with not only the loss of her stepfather but also the loss of her best friend as well. With that seemingly coming through in the themes of show which is a good idea but at the same time it's also one that being done to death recently with the way that this show seems to be handling it being somewhat interesting as they have Natalie the best friend character come back as Riri's new AI calling herself N.A.T.A.L.I.E. with her frequently interacting with Riri and her mother Ronnie but at the same time tho none of this shows three episodes take the time needed to explore this theme as the closest we get is in episode 3 where we see Riri start to have a full blown panic attack when she enters her step father garage and starts to relive the night that both he and Natalie got shot and killed and that's really it and that's not enough for a theme that's this complex as everyone goes through grief and it would have been more interesting to see how Riri is processing her grief instead of just having her refuse to talk to her mum about it as that's just sugar coating it whereas if we see how much both of them meant to her and see what her life was like not just the night off but sometime before they got shot and killed then maybe we could get an idea as to how different Riri was back then and see how there death has effected her character either for the better or for the worse but seeing N.A.T.A.L.I.E. freeze up when she sees a gun was interesting as it makes it look like that the AI version of her is carrying alot more trauma from that night then what we're bold told and shown at the exact same time.

Where these episodes do start to somewhat fall apart is in the shows main villain of Parker Robbins as while the character and the actor playing him is indeed very charismatic. The villain himself isn't that well written with there being nothing interesting about him outside of the fact that he has a hood that can make seemingly invisible and that's really it and even then if you follow the clues that they give in these first three episodes it's pretty obvious who the main villain of the show as a whole is going to be as it's obviously going to be Mephisto as even tho we only see him from the back at the end of episode 3 it does look enough like him for that it's obviously going to be him with Parker having struck some sort of deal with him to give him this cape and all of this power but as we don't even get to find out what his scheme is and what his big villain plan is with him basically robbing these big companies just to secure more money for his crew and that's really it and that's not enough to make us the audience hate him as it doesn't tell us anything about him as a character and while we do get to see him kill a few people in episodes two and three that's all we get of him that shows us that he's a bad guy and that's really it and that's something that's very sadly a trend with all of these live action MCU shows where they really just give us the bare minimum of a villainous character and that's it as not one of the main villains apart from Agatha Harkness has been all that memorable as there all just being treated as an afterthought and it's the same thing here and with this show releasing it's final three episodes next week then the show really won't have the time needed to fix his character as we are now officially in the endgame for this show.

Now then these three episodes has / had an exact grad total running time of no longer than fifty three minuets. With episode one being forty minuets and fifty eight seconds and episode two being forty seven minuets and thirty seconds with the third episode being the longest at fifty three minuets and nineteen seconds which to be fair to this show is a perfectly solid set of running times for this show to have with these three episodes really having the right amount of plot there to really cover there respective running times and while it is of course far two early to say if the show does develop it's characters or not what can be said however is that the show doesn't use it's running time all that wisely as it doesn't really develop it's plot all that well with the first three episodes being alot more focused on either mentioning or just straight up insulting Tony Stark then it is in telling an actually good story with the episodes not really explaining things all that well like why does this gang need Riri when they could get quite literally anyone who knows Robotics to work for them as surely that would help with Parker's evil scheme whatever it maybe and why does Riri steal an Iron Man suit from her school when she knows full well that they'll just shut it down which is exactly what happens with all three episodes having moments like this all throughout them and while the episodes aren't as badly done as the trailers made them out to be there not all that well thought out because of the fact that the plot to show isn't being that well developed either but I really will admit that all three episodes have some really pacing to them.

So now then as this an action show that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in these very episodes was in all honesty not that bad. Which is something that's also true for pretty much all of these live action MCU shows regardless of the actual quality of the show itself with the same thing also being true for these first three episodes as well as pretty much all three episodes have one action scene in them and to be fair to this show nearly all of them work be it when your seeing The Blood Twins beating people up in episode one or if your seeing Riri doing her thing in the suit and taking out a load of people either way there's something that's in these first three episodes that will please alot of people from an action standpoint with it being quite hard to say just what the best action scene is in all three of these episodes because of the fact that alot of the action that we get in all three episodes are really short and thus when they just get going and start getting good they come to and end which is something that does make it hard to buy into them but if push did come to shove i'd say the best fight scene in these episode is the fight between a suit less Riri Williams and John King as we get to see just how brutal that he is and how much that Riri would have to rely on her street smarts when she's out of the suit as she's so used to fighting in it that she has no idea what to do when that's taken away from her with the rest of this shows action being mostly pretty good as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall it's stupid of Disney dropping all six episodes of this show in just two weeks as it makes it look like that Disney is just desperate to get rid of this show and forget about it forever ad given that this show finished filming in 2022 with a few bits of additional filming happening in 2024 that might very well be the case as they've had alot of this show finished and in the can for up to three years now with these three episodes being some pretty decent episodes in their own right in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in these very episodes in this very post and since this is only my first impressions I won't be giving this show a rating however given then unique release schedule for this show I WILL be doing a full blown review of the show as a whole when the rest of the episodes drop next week.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in these very episodes well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in these very episodes from the official marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very post being the really great the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from these very episodes with alot of them being better quality then what'd think of and all of the images are really of course up and really on the official Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical Stage Show Review

It's really safe to say that Frozen is perhaps one of if not Disney's biggest animated franchise and the fact that it's only got two films to it does show that Disney is more then willing to take there time to get the next film right. However the franchise does have a stage show with the company just releasing a filmed version of the London West End version of the show and well you all just knew that yours truly had to check out this filmed version of the show the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I review the stage show that proves that even with nothing more then just two theatrically released movies and a handful of specials Frozen really is here to stay with the stage show in question being called simply just "Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical" enjoy.

The plot of this stage show is when her sisters powers accidentally put there home town of Arendelle in the middle of a deadly snowstorm it's up to Anna and her new friends Kristoff , Sven and Olaf to try and convince her sister to set things right before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very stage show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very stage show was in all honesty really good which is something that does make alot of sense as it's literally just the first films plot only now it's being told in the form of a stage show and not a film with the plot translating surprisingly well from screen to stage with there not really being any changes to the plot of the show which is something that could make seeing this stage show seem pointless as afterall why would you want to see the same story when you can just see the original story told in the way that you know it to be which would be a fair point but at the same time tho this plot is one that does hold up really well with the stage show not only containing all of the key themes that made the plot of the film work but adding just enough to them that it makes those themes seem fresh and new all other again something that Disney did try to do in there live action remakes but failed because they did them so bad there but here what they do add to those themes oddly work well enough in the shows for with the plot of this stage show also being really rather entertaining and as swell as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this stage show is Samantha Barks as Elsa , Laura Dawkes as Anna and Craig Gallivan as Olaf. Also starring in this stage show is Jammy Kasongo as Kristoff , Oliver Ormson as Hans , Richard Frame as The Duke Of Weselton , Ashley Birchall as Sven , Mikayla Jade as Sven , Martha Bailey Vine as Young Anna , Elizabeth Lyons as Young Elsa , Tabitha Storton as The Hidden Folk Child , Ben Irish as Pabbie and The Ensemble , Lizzy-Rose Esin-Kelly as Bulda and The Ensemble , Jak Skelly as Oaken , Bishop and The Ensemble , Jacqui Sanchez as Queen Iduna and The Ensemble and Ashley J. Daniels as King Agnarr and The Ensemble.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very stage show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that thew actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very stage show was in all honesty really good. With this shows acting being alot more better then what it really had any right to be as by all rights this shows acting should have been really bad but for one reason or another this shows actors really just hit it out of the park with all of them giving us some really top notch acting with the same thing also being true for the shows kid actors as well as they come across as bein quite natural when they very easily could have been seen as being quite annoying with that especially being true for Martha Bailey Vine who is quite honestly one of the more entertaining actors in this show as even tho she only plays the young version of Anna she manages to get lots of big laughs every single time that she's on stage with the shows best actor being Samantha Barks as Elsa if you've seen either the stage version of the 2012 film version of Les Misérables then you'll know just how good of an actor that Samantha Barks can be and she really knocks it out of the park in this show from both an acting point of view and a singing point of view with the acting that's really in this very show really being helped by the fact that this shows script is just so good that all this shows shows actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very show.

To be frank there are times when during this stage show it does look cinematic which is something that does work to the shows advantage. As it does show that the creative team behind the show did put in alot of effort into making this world come to life and the fact that they don't quite give away just how it was that they managed to pull off alot of the effect for Elsa's powers outside the use of LED screens only helps to make the show look more cinematic as does the fact that they manage to get some shots that would have been quite hard to do with a live audience there which is something that does work against the show as this show was meant to have been filmed live and yet they are getting shots that make this look like a feature length film which is great if your trying to make a film but here what they should have been doing is trying to put across the experience of what watching this show live is like and not going out of there way to make it look like a film and heck they even have a scene transition effect for when Elsa's dress is revealed at the end of "Let It Go" which don't get me wrong does look good but at the same time tho it would have been nice to see just how they would have pulled that off as that is something that they could have done for real just by having the actor ware the dress underneath another one of Elsa's costumes which you can then just her very easily snap that dress off to reveal her dress which is something that wouldn't work for a film but it's something that would have felt right at home in a stage show which makes you wonder why they chose to add in a scene transition effect there as it is something that's kind of distracting and while it doesn't take away from the experience it is odd that they added it in there tho.

Whilst this particualr version of the show is billed as a version of the broadway show it's actually a filmed version of the West End show. Which is way all of the shows actors are from that show and it's something that makes you wonder why Disney would market it as being a a filmed version of the broadway show when there alot more people that not only know that London exists but also know of London West End as well but at the same time tho they might just be borrowing the tagline of the original broadway show which I guess does make sense but at the same time given that this version was made because of the fact that the West End version was closing up shop three years after it first premiered wouldn't it make more sense just to called this filmed version Frozen: The Musical but with that little nit pick aside this show does sadly not have that many main sets when compared to even the original film which granted didn't have that many main sets either but they still somehow managed to make the world of Arendelle both look and feel alot more bigger then what it really was and here with this show it has the opposite effect as it makes this world feel alot more smaller and compact now to be fair tho this could be for a practical reason as the show does have a rather small stage and so to hit on alot of sets plus all of the actors would have been a huge ask but given that the show was already using some LED screens around the edges of the set of Elsa's powers anyway they usually could have done the same thing and have some new sets just to help the world of Arendelle feel alot more bigger then what it already is in the first place.

As for how they managed to do some of the films animals and Olaf this is wear they kind of get creative as Sven is literally just to people in a reindeer suit and the rock people are now just people which is great as there's no way that you could do those characters on a stage show budget. However it's how they do Olaf that's the most interesting as they take the same approach that was perfected in The Lion King musical where the character is basically a puppet here designed to look like his animated counterpart with a live actor behind him both controlling the character and voicing him which does look really good as it does allow for Olaf to have those really wide range of emotions on his face be it joy to even sadness of confusion and those are things that would have been lost if you did the character in any other way as the only way that you can do this character in a stage show format is to keep him in his snowman form as that's what the audience would expect him to look like and so you can't really do what they did with the live action Spongebob musical and have all of the characters be humans as that just wouldn't work for Olaf given the fact that he's meant to be a snowman and to be fair tho the actors in the show do have alot of fun with it with them even having the actor who plays Anna control the head of Olaf for one brief scene during the shows second act with even the actor playing him Craig Gallivan quite clearly having a blast playing him with the only thing that lets down this way of doing the character being the fact that we don't get to see Elsa making him during the "Let It Go" song sequence which is a small thing but it's also something that does show that she can create life with her powers even if she doesn't quite realise it yet.

As is to be expected this show is a musical with songs of course written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez with their being one new song written for the show being written by Christophe Beck and Frode Fjellheim. With the show featuring all of the songs from the original film alot of which are done really well but at the same time they are out of order in what they appear in the original film so like now example "Let It Go" happens after "In Summer" rather then it bein the other way around and while it would be super easy to say that "Let It Go" is the best song in the whole just due to how fantastic that Samantha Barks sings it the best song in the show is actually one of the newer songs that being "Colder By The Minute" just because of the fact that it's an excellent ensemble song that brings together alot of the characters and ties them all together rather beautifully but that song was very closely followed by "Dangerous To Dream" as that song just hit home the sisterly bond that both Anna and Elsa had for each other and that Elsa still carries for Anna even tho she can't really say it due to her own fears of loosing control of her powers with alot of this shows newer songs not only complimenting the films original songs really well but also being able to stand out on their own and while it was quite hard to say what the best song of the show is because there's so many that could take claim to that honor there's only one that's the worst song of the show and that's "Hygge" as it's just a pointless comedy song that's only there to given Oaken something to do and that's really it and even as a comedy song it still doesn't work as we've literally just had one in "In Summer" so it was really pointless to have "Hygge" in this show.

Now then this show has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and fifty one minuets and forty two seconds. Which to be fair is a pretty solid running time for this show to have as the show does have the right amount of plot there to cover that amount of running time and while this show really doesn't cover that running time all that widely as it doesn't develop it's plot or characters all that well it very well could be argued that it really doesn't need to develop either the plot of the characters due to both of them being so well known anyway or in the case of the plot quite literally just being the first films plot only now it's told on a theater stage and not on the big screen but at the same time tho if your going to go to the trouble to not only include new scenes with the parents and Young Elsa and Young Anna and include a bunch of new songs then you might as well go the extra mile and take the time that you needed to take to further develop your plot as while yes the plot of the show was covered really well in the film here you have the chance to include things that didn't make it into the film and to show us new plot beats that we perhaps hadn't quite considered yet with the same thing also being true for the shows characters and while they don't come across as being one dimensional characters with them all being as well written as they were in the movie given the fact that the show does have extra songs in there then the makers of the show could have taken the time to add new things to the characters like for example they show us that Anna is a bit quirky and that Elsa is very stand-offish but they both still love each other but that's all we get to find out about there characters and even then those came more from the film then they do the stage show but I really will admit that this show really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty really good. With the actor that played Young Anna getting alot of laughs every single time that she was on the stage as she was just that funny and while Olaf could be seen as being annoying alot of the time in the film here he's around just long enough to get in a few decent jokes and while his big "Some People Are Worth Melting For" scene doesn't have that big of an impact in this show just because of the fact that they can't actually show him starting to melt the character still does get a few decent laughs every now and then with it actually being quite hard to say just what the best joke in the show is as both Young Ann and Anna herself do get some decent jokes in this show with really the only two characters that don't manage to get some good laughs or Kristoff and Elsa and that's really it with alot of what makes Anna funny in this show being what always made her funny in the film and that's the fact that she's this quirky character who hasn't been around people for years and so she has now idea on how to act around them but if push did come to shove i'd say that the best joke in the whole entire show is the very fact that Anna only recognizes Olaf from the fact that she gave him a big backside which whilst it is a dumb joke it one that works really well because of the fact that the set up with Young Anna was also really well done as well with all of this films jokes being just straight up really good and really funny in there special and unique way as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this show was a shockingly fun time and this is coming from someone who actively avoided the original film when it first came out but has since seen both it and it's sequel and all of the specials as well with this show being sure to not only set people over until Frozen III in 2027 but also please them as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this review and as such that really does mean that this very show really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review rom the official Disney fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the really great the official Disney fandom wiki page really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode with really alot of them being really better quality then what you'd really think of and really all of the images are really of course up and really on the official Disney fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Doctor Who: The Mark Of The Rani Review

There are alot of classic Doctor Who villains out there from the Daleks to the Cybermen to some more lesser known villains like The Ice Warriors. With all of these characters having the same thing in common in that not only have they all been brough back in modern Doctor Who but they've also been featured in multiple Doctor Who stories with the episode that i'm going to be talking to you all about today featuring the debut of a character who only appeared in two Classic Doctor Who and an anniversary charity special that we don't talk about before making her big return just a few short weeks ago and so then join me as I review the episode that sees The Master team up with another evil timelord with the episode in question being called simply just "The Mark Of The Rani" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when The Doctor and Peri find themselves being sucked down to earth in the nineteenth century and land in the town of Killingworth they discover that something has infected all of the male minors that work there and set out to stop it before it's far to late. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as is pretty par the course for these early Colin Baker stories this one is pretty dark story wise which is something that does work given the fact that one of the episodes main villains is The Master and he is be default a very dark character with this episodes plot being a good example of just how good that the Colin Baker era could have been if the BBC had more faith in it as this is a plot that very well could have worked as the plot of a feature length film and while yes there are aspects pf the plot that don't quite work out all that well like the fact that they never explain why only the male members of this village are being given this thing that prevents them from sleeping in the first place as that is something that could have been used to make The Rani seem all the more smarter then what she already is in the first place and the fact that this episodes does at times feel a tad bit undercooked as a result of it not really explaining all that much with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Colin Baker as The Doctor , Nicola Bryant as Peri Brown and Anthony Ainley as The Master. Also starring in this episode is Kate O'Mara as The Rani , Terence Alexander as Lord Ravensworth , Gawn Grainger as George Stephenson , Peter Childs as Jack Ward , Gary Cady as Luke Ward , William Ilkley as Tim Bass , Hus Levent as Edwin Green , Kevin White as Sam Rudge and Martyn Whitby as Drayman.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With the actors that you expect a good performance from Colin and Anthony for example really giving us exactly that which is something that does make alot of of sense as Anthony had been playing The Master since the later end on Tom Baker's run on Doctor Who and therefor it would make sense that he would really know how best to play his version of the character and to his credit he still does play the character really well with even Colin Baker really starting to come into his own as The Doctor as well as even tho he debuted around the middle of the previous series this series would mark his first full series as the character and as a result of that is the fact that we get alot more of what Colin can do as an actor something that does come into play quite alot during this particular episode with even Nicola Bryant turning in a somewhat passable performance as Peri as she really doesn't get to do all that much outside of scream for The Doctor in this episode however this episodes true standout performer has to be Kate O'Mara as The Rani as she just steals every single scene that she's in with it being made clear as day that she's having a blast making this episode and playing this really over the top and yet still smart character which is something that really does shine through in her final performance in this episode with this episode acting really being helped by the fact that this episodes script is just so good that all this episodes actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

With this still being very early on in The Sixth Doctors life he is still a tad bit cold towards Peri something that we do see all throughout this episode. As he does frequently yell at and put her down quite alot during the episode and while he doesn't outright strangle her like he did in his debuting episode there are times where you can see that that's what he's thinking almost as if he is still trying to work not only who he is as a person but also if he can trust her as well which is something that does give this version of The Doctor a unique hook if you will as all throughout the show the character will just straight away trust his new companion and will almost never yell at them and yet when he does yell at them it's for there own safety and yet here's a version of The Doctor that is just constantly angry and is always fighting that urge to yell at her for other reason which does make it weird that they would remove this aspect of the character in his very next series as people did complain about that aspect of his character almost as if they were expecting him to be like the version of the first Doctor that we got towards the end of William's Hartnell's time on the show where as was this kind person who would do anything for anybody and yet what they instead got was basically a more modernized version of the early version of The First Doctor where he was mischievous and where he was ego centric and where he was a bit angry and untrusting towards his companions but what those people failed to realise was the fact that that Doctor went through a character where he learned to be more nicer and more warmer towards his allies and that's something that this version of the character doesn't get the chance to go through and therefor it makes his change in the character come out of nowhere.

As you can all no doubt work out from the above title this is the first episode to feature the character of The Rani. With the character here being someone whilst she is still evil in her own way with the more then willing to use humans as her personal test subjects without them even knowing it however even she is prone to falling for The Master's own tricks which could be seen as being hindrance to her character in this episode as while it does make there dynamic in this episode one that's really interesting it does also make look like a much more weaker villain not due to how she is being written in this episode as she's written really well but because of the fact that The Master is the much more stronger character and there any new villain that he gets paired with is going to come off looking like the weaker of the two and while of course it would have been impossible to predict that she would be coming back in just a few short years there still should have been some effort as to showing us why she hates The Doctor as the only hint of that that we get in this episode is when The Doctor starts to question her on what she's doing on Earth at this time and that's really it loke there should have been some backstory to explain why the two characters don't get along and why she hates The Doctor especially as the makers of this episode were clearly not going to make it apart of the main plot of the episode anyway and even tho she's paired with the much more stronger character of The Master The Rani herself when she's on her own or not in a scene with The Master does get a chance to show us the audience just how good that she could be as we see that she's every bit as smart as The Doctor only without thee humanity to know when to stop.

In what was a very odd move on the part of the BBC the whole series that this particular episode is apart off has every single episode be two forty five minuet episodes. Which is great when you've got stories that involve either Daleks or Cybermen but when your introducing a new villain you kind of want at the very least five episodes to tell the story as you also have a brand new character to set up and introduce as well as tell a good story but what makes this worse is the fact that this choice seems to have been made very late in the day as you can straight up tell where all of the cliffhangers would have been if this episode was made up of four twenty five minuet episodes and not two forty five minuet episodes as the episodes action would just be ramping up and getting exciting again and a main hero character will find themselves in some trouble before the episode will fade to black however instead of now playing the end credits which is what you should do after a cliffhanger the episode carries on for another twenty five minuets where the same thing happens again only now we get the end credits sequence at the end of the cliffhanger and while granted we now take having forty five minuet to tell a Doctor Who story for granted and in the 1980's it was still a new thing and one can't help but wonder if the show would have improved the next series if the makers of this show had stuck to this two forty five minuet episode format instead of just falling bac on doing four twenty five minuet episodes as to be fair here you can tell a more grander story with two forty five minuet episodes then you can with four twenty minuet episodes as now you can take your time in telling the story in the best way possible but in the old format which does still work you are also rushing the episode along to get to the next plot beat as well.

While seeing The Master and The Rani team up for this episode was a really good idea and is something that does somewhat work for the episode. What doesn't work is the fact that we don't get any kind if clue as to what there evil plan or why there even working together in the first place as while yes they both do hate humans so having them team up does make sense from that point of view but what doesn't work is the fact that The Master wants to speed up Earth's development which does go against his character as he hates humans so therefor wouldn't he want to do anything to slow down there development and not speed it up where as The Rani is more concerned with helping the people on a planet that she's already conquered regain their ability to sleep by using the humans as her own personal test subjects and that's really it which is something that her character would do as she is a scientist altho she has no morals so she's willing to use anyone or anything as her test subjects regardless of if they know about it or not but all that does is make it pointless for them to team up as The Master could have gone to anytime to achieve his goal he didn't have to be with The Rani much like how The Rani didn't need him all that much either because as we see in the episode she's more then capable of getting the make members of this village to come to her willingly which does beg the question of why there teaming up in the first place as nether of their plans need the other to make them work with being something that very easily could have been explained in the episode by having The Doctor or even The Master or The Rani for that matter just say that there teaming up because The Master needs her knowledge on certain things and the only way that she'd give it up with if he helped her with her plan and that's really it with that being something that could have been in just one line of dialog by any of the three characters.

Now then this episode really has / had an exact grand total running of exactly one hour and thirty minuets. Which is pretty much the bogstanderd running time for any series 22 episode of Doctor Who and to be fait this episode really does gave the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time but at the same time tho it really doesn't use that running time all that wisely as the episode doesn't explain why The Master and the rani are teaming up in the first place nor does it explain why The Master wants to seep up the human race's development nor why it's only the make members of this village that's being tested upon all of which are things that are key plot points in the episode and all of which serve to make elements of this episode plot feel undercooked almost as if the makers of this show had no idea that they were going to be getting all this extra time until all of the scripts for this series were done by which time it's two little to late to add anything that would have fixed these issues with the episode not even taking the time to either fully develop alot of it's characters as The Rani despite being in the title gets no development as a character as we don't get to find out all that much about her including why she would personally want to hate The Doctor in the first place with the episode not even giving The doctor's own companion alot of things to actually do in the story thus making her feel more like an afterthought when there are parts in the episode where she could have played a more active role even if it's just consoling the female members of the village just something would have been nice but I really will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this an action shoe that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With this episode shockingly having a decent amount of action in it with all of this episodes action being really well handled and even tho you can see some of men not really hitting whom ever it is that there meant to be hitting it's done so well that you don't really notice it alot of the time with the best action scene being in the whole episode being the cliffhanger for episode one where The Doctor strapped to a bed manages to knock a device out of The Masters hand which then sends him going down a hill in the village all with Peri chasing after him but it doesn't stop there as some of the infected men that The Doctor had made even more angry earlier on in the episode get to him first and then part him on a mine cart and push him on it tracks with the aim of sending him crashing down into the mine which is such a good way to end the episode as now us the audience are now left wondering how The Doctor will get out of this one as he doesn't have the use of his hands and while the way he gets out of it is a bit anti-climatic as one of The Doctor's allies just comes out into frame and stops him and that's really it doesn't and it change the fact that really the entire cliffhanger bit itself was something that was really well done especially on a BBC budget with the sequence itself looking good really good and being alot more better then what it really had any right to be with the same thing also being true for all of this episodes action scenes as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is a sold debut episode for The Rani as it does give us a good idea of her character but at the same time tho this is an episode that does have alot of flaws in it something which does very sadly tend to be the same with all of Colin Baker's run this is despite the fact that this episode is still a pretty solid episode in it's own right as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad tings that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally sued in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies ad gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Amazon . Co . Uk , the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the really great Google Images really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode with really alot of them being really better quality then what you'd really think of and really all of the images are really of course up and really on Google Images are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.
