Wallace And Gromit: The Wrong Trousers Film Review

Wallace & Gromit are two characters that are son engraved in not only UK pop culture but also in pop culture in general. With alot of people around the world knowing of the cheese loving inventor and his dog and well I thought that i'd take a look back at what many myself included consider to be really there greatest ever short film and see if it still holds up really well all of these many years and so then join me as I review the film that proved that Wallace & Gromit really were alot more then just one hit wonders with the film in question being called simply just "The Wrong Trousers" enjoy.

The plot of the film is when their running out of money Wallace lets out his spare room to a mysterious lodger who will test our heroes like they've never been tested before. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good with this film plot being just as enjoyable as you'd want it to be and just as as engaging as you really want it to be with this films plot also being alot better then that of their previous short film as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Peter Sallis as Wallace what I really love about these first two Wallace & Gromit short films. Is the fact that it's mostly just one person acting all throughout the entire which means that the films script has to be good as there's no other actor there to cover up for any mistakes in the scripts and it also means that the acting in each of the films also has to be really good as well for the exact same reason and also because of the fact that the entire film rests on their performance which means that if that one person can't deliver a good performance then the whole thing just falls apart and this is something that the early shorts understood as it means that everybody has to be on their A game and while I will have a special place in my heart for all of the shorts and feature length films I will always look back on the first two shorts because of the fact that everybody is on their A game.

Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. Which really shouldn't come as that much of a surprise as the only cast member in this film is a really good actor and as such it makes sense that he would turn in a really good performance in this film as well with this really being helped by the fact that the films script is just so good that all the actor in this film has to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out him alot more naturally.

Doing the animation for this film is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Aardman Animations. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good which is nothing new for anything by Aardman Animations as all of their projects even there bad ones have some really good animation in them with this film being no exception as there alot of standout scenes where the animation just looks fantastic with the animation in this film holding up really well all of these years later.

The villains plan in this film really doesn't make that much as they have no reason to have the need to control Wallace at all. As there whole entire plan revolves around them being able to control and yet they have no need to do so as they very easily could have just stolen the trousers themselves and committed the crime that way or they could have just walked right in through the front door of the building that they were robbing and robbed them that way infact having Wallace be involved in the crime only creates more witnesses to the crime as now we have both Wallace and Gromit acting as witnesses and who know who the villain actually as and as seen in this film actually take steps to make sure that the villain remains behind bards all of which could have been avoided if the villain just really found another way of stealing the jewel that they were going to rob.

For those of you that don't know the villain of this film is Feathers Mcgraw who is a penguin that Wallace lets his spare room out to. I really did like this villain as he was pretty smart as he knew that in order to get Wallace on his own in order to commit his crime in the first place he had to split him up from Gromit and that's the first thing that he sets about doing when he moves into the house and when he does that he knows that his chosen method to commit this crime will need some heavy machinery and that's exactly what he uses the wrong trousers but at the same time he also really underestimates both Wallace and Gromit which does eventual lead to his really hilarious downfall which is just a joy tom see to play out as he really was an entertaining main villain.

This film is just as ridiculous as you'd want it to be with the film having such an over the top the plot and characters that you really do buy in to it. This adds to the films overall charm as you never really know what it is that's going to be coming next as it could be something that oddly makes sense like Gromit going to check the post or something that's just so out there that you have no choice but to laugh at it like Feathers using measuring tape to climb up the side of a building all of which makes the film really charming and while there are something things that could improved upon like the fact that Wallace and Gromit don't really spend alot of time together any change it's showing the film as it is that makes the film as charming as it is with the film also being something that both kids and parents can enjoy as well to this very day.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly thirty minuets and nineteen seconds. This is a rather solid running time as the film has more then enough plot to cover this rather large amount of running time and while I would have liked it if the film was longer as the film is just so good it would have been stretching the films plot beyond breaking point as alot of the scenes that would be needed to stretch the film out to longer running time would be nothing more then filler scenes and would nothing to the overall plot of the film but with the films current running time every single scenes has to be about advancing the films plot and that's only something that the film can do with it's current running time and really not with a much more longer running time but I will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With all of this films jokes not only landing but landing hard ad getting a big laugh out of me with this mostly being the fact that the film ha jokes that alot of British people only will get which does make sense as the film was made in Britain and while there are jokes in this film that people outside of Britain will understand there are really alot more jokes that you will only really understand if you were born or lived through Britain in the nineteen nineties in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall out of all of the short films that Wallace & Gromit have been in this one is quite easily the best one as it really did set the standard for what a Wallace & Gromit should be like in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that means that this very film earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 9 out of 10 from me,

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Wallace &Gromit fandom wiki page , IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the official Wallace & Gromit fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on the official Wallace & Gromit fandom wiki page are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Dexter's Laboratory "DeeDeemensional" . "Dial M For Monkey: Magmanamus" and "Maternal Combat" Review

We all have cartoon shows that we have very fond memories of watching when we was kid with alot of these shows mostly likely still holding up to this very day. Well when I was looking for images for my The Powerpuff Girls review I suddenly remembered another show that I used to like growing up and well I thought that i'd check out the very first episode just to see if it really was still a good show and so then join me as I review the episode that really introduced did the world to a boy genius and his kid sister with the episode in question having segments that are called simply just "DeeDeemensional" . "Dial M For Monkey: Magmanamus" and "Maternal Combat" enjoy.

The plot of "DeeDeemensional" is Deedee is set back in time by Dexter to warn him of a giant monster that he himself sets loose whereas the plot of "Dial M For Monkey: Magmanamus" is when a giant lava monster attacks the town it's up to Monkey to save the day before it's far to late with the plot of "Maternal Combat" being when Mom is ill Dexter builds a robot to do all of the cooking and clean but things start to get our of control when Deedee steals the controls for the robot. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plots that's actually featured / presented to us  in this very episode well then  in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought/ felt that the actual plots that are actually featured / resented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad with the plot of the first segment "DeeDeemensional" being the stronger and really the most fun plot of all three segments in in this episode my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Rugrats star Christine Cavanaugh as Dexter and Woman and Allison Moore as Dee Dee, Also starring in this episode is voice acting legend Frank Welker as Monkey, Man 3 and Pilot , Everybody Loves Raymond star Brad Garrett as Magmanamus, Man 1 and Driver , Spongebob Squarepants star Tom Kenny as Man 2 , Man 4 and Man 5 , Kath Soucie as Mom and Jeff Bennett as Dad.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very  episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. This isn't really all that surprising as the episodes cast are a bunch of really known voice actors who we know for a fact can turn in a good performance with this really being helped by that the scripts for each of the segments are just so good and the fact that each of the segments co-directors really do know how to direct their cast and so all the cast for this episode have to do is just the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them really naturally.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Rough Draft Korea. Now the interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all  honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With the animation in this episode being alot better then what it really had any right yo be as this is show that was made and released in the nineties and as such nobody was expecting the animation to really hold up an yet it's the opposite that's true as the animation really does hold up really well almost to the point where the show looks like that it was made in the early to mid two thousands and not the early to mid nineteen nineties.

If your wondering if this show was as fun to watch now as it was back then the answer is firmly yes as this episode was so much fun to watch. With the characters having some really great and fun interactions all of which go along way to make the episode feel as fun as it was back in the nineties with the same thing also being true for the set up for each segment which was really simple for each of the three segments with them being noting more then an excuse for the segment just to be fun and to have some wild ideas and when you add in the fact that the characters in all three segments coming across as being very likable characters it's no wonder that this show was always fun tom watch as we always wanted to see these characters get into these crazy situations and see just how they would get of them and how they would interact with each other.

As a comedy this show hasn't aged all that well with alot of the jokes in all three segments not really having aged all that well. This is n't of the fault of anybody involved with the making of the show as they of course don't know that jokes will age badly and yet that is very sadly the case with alot of the jokes in those episode as there are alot of jokes that were funny back in the nineties but now they just aren't that funny which is a shame because the set up of the first episode "DeeDeemensional" does allow itself to be open for some really good jokes and yet outside of one joke near the end of the episode this segment has really nothing funny in it with the same thing also being true for the episodes third segment "Maternal Combat" which despite it's funny set up and premise doesn't really have any funny jokes in it at all.

For some reason instead of having either one single segment or two eleven minuet segment this show has three segments per-episode. Which just doesn't work as it means that a segment that could have worked out really well as a full length episode now gets rushed as it has to fit in two other segments which might not be as a good as that one segment whilst having multiple segments per episode might work for a show like Animanaics the difference is tho is that show was made to host multiple segments per-episode where as with this show as it;s not in a verity show format it doesn't really make sense to have multiple segments in just one episode and it's not something that will always work as one story or even all three stories will suffer because of it and that is the very case with this episode as all three episodes do suffer from the short running time that all three segments are forced to have due to the fact that they have to fit in two other episodes.

Now then this episode has / had a grand total running time of exactly twenty one minuets and thirty six seconds. Which would be a running time that would work f this show was telling one story per=episode and yet because this episode is telling three stories in every single episode this running time comes across as being rather short as it means that all of the stories don't have the time that they need to be fully developed and in the case of both "Maternal Combat" and "DeeDeemensional" don't even have proper conclusions to them with them just ending without actually concluding the story that they were telling and while that might work for other shows it's not really something that works for this show as the stories that there telling are so good and yet because they can't be fully developed it's hard to fully get behind all three of the stories that are in this episode but I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very review well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. However as was stated in this very review alot of the episodes jokes were very dated and while the story of a Monkey fighting evil does lend itself to alot of god jokes the episode sadly doesn't take advantage of that set up but I will admit that when this episode tells a good joke you really do know about it but there alot mire bad jokes then there are good ones which given who was involved with the making of this show really shouldn't have the case in the slightest in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while this episode was still a really fun to really fun and great show it's also a good example of the show having not really aged all that well in the ways that truly matter in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the goo ad as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Dexter's Laboratory fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the official Dexter's Laboratory fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on the official Dexter's Laboratory fandom wiki page are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

The Powerpuff Girls 1998 TV Series "Monkey See, Doggie Do" and "Mommy Fearest" Review

The nineties was a great time for cartoons on TV with there being alot of shows being made that would go on to become truly iconic shows i their own right. Well thr show that i'm about to talk about today is one such a show with this show having a an a list team of people working on it from great voice actors and to really great writers and directors all of which came to together to make this show the hit that it was and so then join me as I review the episodes that introduced the world to The Powerpuff Girls with the episodes in question being called simply just "Monkey See, Doggie Do" and "Mommy Fearest" enjoy.

The plot of "Monkey See, Doggie Do" is the people of townsville are being turned into dogs and it's up to The Powerpuff Girls to find who is doing this evil crime and stop them once and for all and the plot of "Mommy Fearest" is when The Professor falls in love it's up to The Powerpuff Girls to convince him that his new girlfriend is truly evil. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was n all honesty really good with "Monkey See, Doggie Do" having the stronger plot whilst the plot for "Mommy Fearest" was quite easily the weaker of the two segments in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this very episode is Catherine Cavadini as Blossom , E.G. Daily as Buttercup and Tara Strong as Bubbles and Woman Neighbor. Also starring in this episode is Tom Kane as Professor Utonium , Puppet Pal Clem and Talking Dog , Roger L. Jackson as Mojo Jojo , Tom Kenny as The Narrator and The Mayor , Rob Paulsen as Puppet Pal Mitch and Jennifer Hale as Ima Goodelady and Sequsa.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that/'s actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very  episode was in all honesty really good. Which given who is involved with this show shouldn't really be all that surprising as the show has some really legendary voice actors working on show and a really good creative team writing and directing the show with the acting in this episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode is really good and so all the cast have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them really naturally.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Rough Draft Korea. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us n this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as the animation in this episode does look really good but at the same time it does also look really dated this is of course no fault of those making the show but it is something that dates both the episode and the show itself as it just looks like that it was made in the nineties and as such the shows animation really doesn't come across as really being timeless unlike the animation in say Tiny Toon Adventures for example.

In the first half of this shows first episode we do get to meet The Powerpuff Girls most iconic villain that being Mojo Jojo. With the villain just being as entertaining as he was back in the nineties which is nothing new for this show as the makers of this show did put in alot of effort intro creating memorable villains be it for there right reasons or for the wrong reasons and they also put in alot of time and effort into making the villains in not only this episode but the show as a whole as entertaining as the shows main heroes as well with Mojo being a prime example of this as why he's not the most creepiest villain in the shows history he is one of if not the most well known villain in the shows history and alot of that comes down to the fact that he is both really well written and really well acted as well both of which help to really make him a really entertaining villain.

Sadly the comedy is where this episode falters as the comedy in this episode just isn't that funny in the lightest. Which is odd because we have a bunch or directors in Craig McCracken , John McIntyre and Genndy Tartakovsky al of whom know how to make funny animation and how to make things funny in the world of animation and yet for some strange reason they just didn't do it in this episode with the jokes here just coming across as lazy at best and unfunny at worst and when you add in the fact that we get a shall we say adult type of joke with a straight up naked person appearing in this episode and yet it's just not that funny and all it does is make you wonder how in the heck they manged to get that scene past all of the censors.

Out of the two segments the first one is the better of the two just because it was a good example of what the show was like when it was at it's best. However with that being said episode two was also rather enjoyable as it gives us some insight as to what the girls are like at home which just reminds us that outside of their superhero duties these girls are still just little girls and so they do things that kids there age would like to do only because they have superpowers they now have alot more pressure of going to save the town as and when they are needed and seeing their home life was also really entertaining in it's own right as it made the segment feel more personal as it's just mostly confined to the girls house for most of the segment.

Now then the first segment has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly eleven minuets and twenty nine seconds whilst the second segment has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly ten minuets and one second. With the first first segment having the better running time as the first segment has more then enough their interms f plot ti cover that large amount of story where as the second second segment really doesn't have alot of story there and so alot of the segment comes across as being filler but both segments don't really to take the time to fully develop their respective villains which does make it hard to route for the hero as we're not really given a reason to but I will admit that both segments have some really good pacing to both of them.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk abut the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With both segments having some really good action in them as we get to see alot of the girls powers in the second segment and we get to see just how creative the girls can be in a fight in the first segment both of which make the segments respective action scenes look really good and look alot better then the action that we get in mist modern day action cartoon TV shows n my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall both of these segments were really entertaining in their way as they both show of just how entertaining this show was and could be when it was at it's best in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that the first segment earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7.5 out of 10 whilst the second segment earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 6 out and the episode as a whole earns itself a grand old score of a 7 out 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the image that I personally used in this very review well then boy sand girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official The Powerpuff Girls fandom wiki page, IMP Awards . Com and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the official The Powerpuff Girls fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on the official The Powerpuff Girls fandom wiki page are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Doctor Who: The Star Beast SPOILER FILLED Review

We are now here at the main event after weeks of waiting the very first of three brand new specials for Doctor Who have finally started airing. With all three episodes set to air over the next few weeks and while I most likely won't be covering all three episodes as and when they air I really will try to watch all three of then and so then join me as I give you SPOILER FILLED review of the episode that sees classic faces return and new faces debut with the episode in question being called simply just "The Star Beast" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when the newly regenerated fourteenth doctor lands on earth he finds himself drawn back into the life of Donna Noble and right in the middle of a tg war between to warring alien races. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in al honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the issue as it's not all that good either which is a shame as we know for a fact that writer and returning producer ad showrunner Russell T Davies can turn in some really good plotlines for Doctor Who when he really wants to and yet here he just really doesn't do it at all for some reason but this episode plot is very entertaining and as well as being really very engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at last.

Starring in this episode is David Tennant as The Doctor , Catherine Tate as Donna Noble and Yasmin Finney as Rose Noble. Also starring in this episode is Karl Collins as Shaun Temple , Matt Green as A BBC Reporter , Jamie Cho as Colonel Chan , Ruth Madeley as Shirley Bingham , Jacqueline King as Sylvia Noble , Ronak Patani as Major Singh , Ned Porteous as The Voice Of Zogroth , John Hopkinson as The Voice Voice Of Zreeg , Cecily Fay as The Meep and Miriam Margolyes as The Voice Of The Meep.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt bout the actual acting that's actual;y featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With both David and Catherine turning in some really good performances with them both just slipping back in to characters so easily that it was like they had just finished playing their characters just last series with the rest of the actors also turning in some fairly solid performances as well with the acting in this episode being helped by this episodes script as while the plot is fairly average at best the script itself gives the cast alot to work with interms of what their respective characters personalities even are.

Doing the CGI for this episode is Untold Studios and the legends and the greats that are currently over at Real SFX. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about thew actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual CGI that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty good with this episodes CGI being movie quality good with it being really obvious to see where alot of the budget for these episodes went to as when you look at episodes from eve just a year or two ago they don't have better CGI then what were getting now in these specials with this episode being a very good example of that.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

This episode not only take it name from but is also adapted from the comic book of the exact name with the comic strip appearing in Doctor Who Magazine. With the original comic strip appearing from February to April 1980 and being written by Pat Mills and John Wagner both of whom get referenced in the episode with a steel factory being named after the duo and while I haven't read the original comic strip and can there not tell you if this episode is faithful to the original comic strip or not I can say that it is great that Doctor Who is adapting more of the comic strip stories as there is a wealth of material out there that could possibly make for good episodes or even mini episodes.

With the return of the Noble family that does mean that we get the return of the comedy that only they can bring. With there quick witted comedy being  welcome return in this episode as this episode really does feel lie that it's the calm before the storm with the family getting alot of quick jokes in here and there all of which feel like jokes that they would do and all of which landed as they were that funny of a joke and while yes we do get confirmation that Rose is a transgender character they don't really hit you over the head with it with it only really being brought three times in the whole episode and while her character isn't as fully developed as sh could have been there is the markings of a truly character in there.

While we knew for a fact that we were getting a new Doctor Who theme and intro what we didn't really know for sure was if we were getting a new TARDIS interior. Well that's exactly what we got with this new TARDIS interior looking really good with it being a more bigger version of the first doctors TARDIS interior with the round things making a return only now they serve a purpose as being the main light source for the walls of the console room and there being multiple floors all connected by various ramp ways which does open itself up to more complex shots in the console room and while this new design is as good or as alien as say the first interior for the Eleventh Doctor for example it is still a really nice looking interior that looks really massive and it helps that this interior does have somewhat of an alien feel to it as well.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly fifty seven minuets and eight seconds. Which is a solid running time for this episode to have as it does have alot of things to set up and it wouldn't be able to do any of that and still a good story but on the flip side of that is the fact that despite this episode having a longer running time the characters still don't get any kind of character of development which might be because these are special episodes being released weekly and so it could be that these characters could development over the next two episodes it is something that could have happened in this episode as the episode had more then enough time to give them some development and some fleshing out and I will admit that this episode really does ave some really good pacing to it.

So now then as this is an action show that means that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With this episodes really being helped by the budget for all three specials as it allowed the team to really up the scale in terms of action as instead of the action mostly taking place in a quarry the best action set piece in this whole episode takes place in a fully populated London street with the team really getting ambitious with just how big the action in this episode really gets and that really does help the action in this episode feel alot bigger then the action in most of the episodes of this show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Overall while, it is great to see Doctor Who and to have new Doctor Who content thus far these sixtieth anniversary specials aren't of to a good start with this episode not being as good as it could have or perhaps even should have been in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on Google Images are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Doctor Who: An Unearthly Child Pilot Episode Version Review

Today is not just any day for you all see today is a very special as i'm writing this review on the exact day that Doctor Who first premiered on British TV screens all the way back in 1963 and well I couldn't think of a better thing to review. Then something that's from this truly iconic franchise however since the son of the first episodes original writer is keeping that entire first episode for himself I thought that i'd take a look at a Doctor Who episode that predates that one and so then join me as I review the pilot version of the episode that started it all with the pilot being called simply just "An Unearthly Child" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when her two school teachers become concerned about of their students they go to look for her only to stumble upon something that's truly out of this world. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honest I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad as it's quite literally the exact same plot as the version of the episode that would eventually air but seeing how different plot beats play out in both versions of the episode and what things about the plot both big and small was interesting to say the least in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is William Hartnell as The Doctor , Carole Ann Ford as Susan Foreman and William Russell as Ian Chesterton. Also starring in this episode is Jacqueline Hill as Barbara Wright what's interesting is that this pilot only features how would go into become the four main leads  with all of the other characters being unnamed school students and while the same thing is also true for the aired version as well here as it wasn't leading onto anything at that point it felt like it was the BBC just trying to to save some money but that oddly works in this episode favor as it only kept the characters that were relevant to the plot of the episode whereas in more modern Doctor Who they would fill the first episode out with characters that aren't that essential to the plot of the episode.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With alot of the cast turning in the exact same performance that they would later turn in the aired version of this episode while there are some changes to certain characters that does effect the acting alot of the performances in this episode match that of the original aired episode which just goes to show you just how good this cast was as they pretty much really nailed there character performance wise on the first go.

As someone who has the first serial in it's entirety several times it was weird seeing this unaired version of this classic episode. This is because it was so obviously a classic episode and so to see it what it was like before the episode had all of it's changes made to it be it from a performance point of view or a story point of view or even a lore point of view for that matter it felt weird as it was like I was watching a new episode of the show for the very first even tho it's quite literally the oldest ever episode of Doctor Who and yet it was also fascinating seeing a version of the show that might have been had there not been any changes forced on to the show changes which ultimately made the show the show that we all know and love to this very day.

There are alot and I mean alot of errors to be found n this very episode with the studio lights showing up on several occasions. On top of that we have actors flubbing lines which are kept in the episode we also have camera men bumping into the set and pieces of the set falling over and that's just the tip of the ice berg and all of which make it no wonder why this episode was filmed again as it makes the show overall look even cheaper then what it already is and while alot of the faults in this episode could be blamed on the BBC for giving the episode a very small studio to film in alot of the blame has to also go to the crew for not really working with what they had on the day as that would have made a huge difference.

Perhaps the biggest change made to the episode is how The Doctor himself is both written and performed as in the original episode he comes across and being grumpy yet childlike and understanding. All of which aren't present in this episode as in this version of the episode he comes across as being both grumpy and borderline abusive all of which is due to how the character was written in this episode and this s something that i'm glad that the Sydney Newman demanded be changed as The Doctor is meant to be of the main heroes of the show and as such he has to be somewhat likable and if the film "An Adventure In Space In Time" is anything to go by the character was sold to William Hartnell as having a twinkle in his eye and it's that twinkle in his eye that sadly isn't present in this version of the episode.

I'm not going to lie and say that this was a rough episode to get through because it really wasn't infact it was still a rather enjoyable episode to get through. As it has alot of potential to be a really good story and heck even some of the things that are add like Susan doing a Rorschach Test only to be horrified by it's results which was interesting as it seemed like that she knew that her grandfather wasn't a kind person and would try to do something to do her school teachers which is something that could have been explored if that idea was kept in the aired version of the episode and yet for some reason it was cut from the aired version which is weird as it would have given Susan an extra dimension to her character and it would have given her something to do other then just stand there and scream alot like she would eventually end up doing.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty five minuets and six seconds. With this being the shorter version of this pilot episode as there is also a thirty six minuet version of this version of the episode as well with this version really having the really better running time as when you get right down to it there's no need to this episode to be anywhere even close to being forty minuets in length as the episode doesn't really have alot their interms of story to cover that large of amount of running time and while the extra long version might just be with alternate takes it doesn't mean that the episode has to be that long and to this episodes credit it does have some really good pacing to it.

So now then as this is a drama that means that I have to actually talk about the actual drama thats actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual drama that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. As alot of the drama in this episode was really done and really built but at the same time time tho it was still strange seeing The Doctor act as this person who is at times borderline abusive to his granddaughter yes it comes from a good place but seeing him out right yell at her for something that she didn't know was going to happen in the first place just felt wrong in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall while it was strange seeing a version of the shows very first episode that was never meant to air in the first place it was still interesting seeing what could have been in the show had this version of the episode been allowed to air in the first place in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that means that this very episode earns itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Doctor Who fandom wiki page , Wikipedia and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on Google Images  are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition and a very happy sixtieth birthday to Doctor Who and here to many more years of fun , adventures and dangers all across time and space.

Urkel Saves Santa: The Movie! Film Review

We are now living in an age where nostalgia rules and where anything and everything that could be rebooted is getting rebooted. Well now then yet another character from the eighties is getting a new lease on life except this time it's with a christmas movie which for some really strange reason is being released right in the middle of November and so then join me as I review the film that was almost cancelled for good with the film in question being called simply just "Urkel Saves Santa: The Movie!" enjoy.

The plot of the film is when Steve Urkel almost ruins christmas for good he decides to save christmas before it's far to late. Now then  interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad as it was a really fun plot but at the same time it's also a plot that doesn't really make alot of sense with alot of things not happening organically but because the plot demands that they happen which just makes the writing in this film seem really lazy in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is this films producer and Sonic The Hedgehog star Jaleel White as Steve Urkel , Urkelbot and Stefan Urkelle and Joel Kim Booster as Clerk Gary. Also starring in this film is Nicole Byer as Sheryl ,  Tiana Camacho as Robin and Child , Arturo Castro as Dudley and Robin's Dad , Zehra Fazal as Suli , Miltra Jouhari as Clerk Leslie , Wayne Knight as Mr. Hodges , Thomas Lennon as V.D.I , Larry Owens as Santa , Jay Pharoah as Jay-Z , Dana Snyder as Mr. Kalan and Bus Dispatch , Brian Totchi as Mr. Kochiyama , Janet Varney as Old Lady Buechler , Amber and Woman , Kym Whitley as Mrs. Paxson , Micheal Lyon Wooley as Dream Santa and Plastic Reindeer , Ray Wood Jr.s as Department Store Santa and Old Man Buechler , Miki Yamashita as Mrs. Kochiyama and Neighbor and Dallas Dupree Young as Jordan.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With alot of the cast of this film tuning in some really good performances the issue is tho is that while this is a rather solid cast the films script doesn't give them much to work with interms of what their characters as such this films cast can't turn that good of a performance as this films just won't allow for them to do it.

Doing the animation for this film is the legends and he greats that are currently over at Snipple Animation Studios and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about thew actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this film mixing animation styles really well and in a way that makes sense with the films animation really being helped by the fact that we have a couple of experienced animation studios who know what there doing working on this very film.

This film is of course very loosely based of off Family Matters with that show of course being the show that introduced the world to Steve Urkel. After only seeing the first episode of Family Matters I have to wonder why the makers of this film didn't lean more into the family aspect of this film as this is a christmas which means that having the theme of family and what it means to be a family and to have a family even if it's just a makeshift one would have made perfect sense and yet the film doesn't take full advantage of where it's title character came from as this film feels like a really bad episode of Family Matters and not at all like a good episode of the show which is a shame as there is potential for this film to be a great christmas classic of a film.

For those of you that are wondering this film was very nearly cancelled for good as it was due to air on HBO Max and Cartoon Network last year. With the film originally going the title "Did I Do That to the Holidays? A Steve Urkel Story" and yet with a bunch of other projects the film was pulled from both HBO Max and Cartoon Network and yet for some reason the filmmakers found a way to release the film direct to DVD which is the best way to release this movie as Family Matters as a franchise really doesn't have that many fans to really justify the film being released on either HBO Max and Cartoon Network and at least this way the film still gets to see the light of day.

This film oddly features songs that are co-written by this films writer and a writer for King Of The Hill Wyatt Cenac and Jean Grae. I will admit that for a direct to DVD film this films aren't that bad with this film featuring songs that are alot of the times better then the songs that are in Wish with the song "I Love Christmas" being the best sing in the whole entire film just due to how fun this song with the song also not being that badly sung either but oddly enough this films songs suffer the opposite problem that the songs from Wish suffer from as the songs in this film were to long and far to frequent with thee film having a song every couple of minuets.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and twenty six minuets and fifty four seconds. Which was a bit on the long side for this film as when you get right down  to it this film really doesn't have alot of story that large amount of running time with this film featuring alot of scenes that are filler scenes as they add nothing to the overall plot of the film with them just being there to pad out the films running time and really nothing more that with the alot of the films songs also feeling like filler scenes as well with this film also really feeling like that it's on repeat mode quite alot of the time as well but I will admit that this film really does some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well the  in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured /presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad With this film having some genuinely really funny moments in it all of which come from the Steve Urkel and seeing just what a destructible force of nature that he is and while this film does also feature some bad jokes as well those jokes are in the minority with the film really having more good jokes in it then it does good jokes in this very film in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this film was alot better then what it really had any right to be and while it most likely won't cause Family Matters to earn any new fans what it will do is give a nice Christmas themed that both kids and adults can really enjoy in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all the bad things that are in this very film in this very review and as such that means that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boy and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Sound Effects fandom wiki page , the official Family Matter fandom wiki page and google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being Google Images simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are on Google Images  are all really fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.
