Ariel TV Series SPOILER FILLED Review

For some strange reason whenever The Little Mermaid releases a new film into theaters it's very quickly followed up with an animated prequel TV series. With the recent remake not really being exception to this as both Disney have really just dropped the first eight episodes of this prequel animated show on both DisneyJR and Disney + and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the show that no one was asking for with the show in question being called simply just "Ariel" enjoy.

The plot of this show is Ariel and her friends go about there day to day lives in Atlantica and learn what means to not only be good friends but also be good people as well. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. However that's also the same problem as the plot of this show wasn't all that good either as all it was was the typical kids animated show plot only with The Little Mermaid characters and nothing really new added to the plot to make it feel unique and different from all of the other kids animated that are out there and the show does suffer because of how predictable not only the shows plot is but also how predictable the plots of each of the episodes really are as well and while as a plot this show does work for it's target audience due to the characters that are being featured in this show it was also always going to get some adults watching the show as well and there's really nothing there plot wise to make them want to keep on watching the show in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this show is Mykal-Michelle Harris as Ariel , Taye Diggs as King Triton and Amber Riley as Ursula. Also starring in this show is Elizabeth Phoenix Caro as Lucia , Cruz Flateau as Fernie , Gracen Newton as Flounder , Kevin Michael Richardson as Sebastian , Parvesh Cheena as Ravi and Squid , Dana Heath as Ayanna , Jessica Mikayla as Alanna , Alanna Ubach as Cristina Cuttles , Yvette Nicole Brown as Aquatica , Melissa Villaseñor as Navi , Ron Funches as Delfino , Jeff Bennett as The Duke Of Clownfish , Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows star Gary Anthony Williams as Hermès and Amari McCoy as Jewels.

Now then interms of what I personally thought /felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. As it's quite clear that all of this shows cast members especially the young cast members are indeed trying to turn in a hood performance with the shows adult cast members mostly just phoning in there performances and while the child performers are indeed decent in this show they also have plenty of room to go as alot of the time they do turn so fairly average performances which is excusable as they are only kids after all the same thing really isn't excusable for the adult actors who really should know how to act by now and yet alot of the time it just comes across as them phoning in there performances with the same thing also being true for Kevin Michael Richardson who despite having played Sebastian in the Kingdom Hearts games here just sounds to old to be playing the character with the acting in this show not really being helped by the fact that the script for this show is just so bad as it gives none of the shows actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is there respective characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does effect the overall quality of the acting that's in this show.

Doing the animation for this show is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Wild Canary Animation. Now then  interms of what I personally thought /felt about thew actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this show was in all honesty alot better then what it really had right to be as by all rights the animation in this show should have been really bad and yet what we get instead is a show that actually has some really good animation that does on times border on being feature film quality but the character designs in this show just don't look that good as Ursula just looks really laughably bad with her now having a weird looking hairstyle and being transformed from someone who could have a beauty when she was younger to instead looking like someone wouldn't be a beauty which does against the whole point of the character but the characters do have some really nice fluid animation to them tho and the whole ocean does look good in this show.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!

As you can no doubt work out by now this show does take some inspiration from the live action remake of The Little Mermaid. However it also takes inspiration from the 1989 original film as well which does leave you with this odd mish mash of ideas as you''ll get Ariel who blatantly looks like Halle Bailey and yet she's talking with sat Sabastian who looks like how did in the original film and then you have both King Triton and Ursula looking like new versions of the characters all of which just really doesn't work and it makes you wonder why the makers of this show chose to take inspiration from the 2023 The Little Mermaid movie as to a more main stream audience those takes on the characters really aren't going to be that well known instead it's the designs of the original films that really are more well known and as a result of that is the fact that it would have made alot more sense from a marketing perspective to have the characters look like how they did in the original film and make this show a prequel to both the original film and it's spin-off series as well.

The characters that they do create for this show that mainly being Ariel's friends Lucia and Fernie do seem like good characters. With Lucia having some magical powers to her which is a good idea as is the fact that shew looks up to Ursula but Fernie on the other hand despite him having alot of knowledge about fish which is a good way to get that knowledge across to the shows young kid audience that doesn't work is the fact that the character wants to a marine biologist a job which would require him to mostly be on land and would require him to capture things from the ocean to look at them an examine them so surely as someone who lives in the ocean he should want to do something that wouldn't effect ocean life instead of choosing something that would put ocean life and the life of the animals in danger let alone put his own life in danger and just straight up doesn't make sense as he lives underwater anyway and so he would have no where to store the fish that he did want to examine in the first place where Lucia's goal of wanting to be as good of a sea witch as Ursula does make sense for that world and it is something that could actually foreseeably happen at some point in the future where as Fernie's goal couldn't happen in the future.

Speaking of Ursula this show did her dirty as in both the original film , the 2023 remake and in The Little Mermaid: The Animated Series she was a villain. Yet for some strange reason in this show she's Ariel's fun aunt who is anything but a villain which is something that just doesn't work at all and it shows that the makers of this show just don't understand the character as this is a character who was evil because of the fact that her brother King Triton was named heir to the throne and that basically drove her mad and because of that she spent years trying to find ways to get revenge on Triton fort what she perceived as a crime against her and so when Ariel comes to her for help in the remake she sees that as her way of getting her revenge with her basically being a person who might have started out as a good person but became more evil and more twisted over the years and yet this is something that isn't present in this show and while the show does try to give her some personality by making the owner of a magic camp where she teaches students how to do magic it's still not enough to replace what was taken from an interesting character.

Now then each episode of this show has / had an exact grand total running time of no longer then twenty three minuets. With each episode being split up into eleven minuet episodes is something that in this case does work to the shows advantage as each of the individual plots for the episodes aren't strong enough to support an entire twenty two minuet episode but it is strong enough to support an eleven minuet segment of an episode tho and yet while all eight of this shows first batch of episodes do have some good running times to them at the same time tho none of the episodes that have been released thus far take the time that they really should have done to develop the shows characters and while the show can get away with not giving the legacy characters that much development as they do appear in the 2023 movie so they can kind of get away with it the show also doesn't take the time fully develop it's new characters and as a result of that is the fact that each episode does feel like that it's repat as nothing changes about the show and none of the characters grow and learn from there experiences either but I will admit that this show does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that means that I gave to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very show was in all honesty not that bad. As Flounder despite being the groups "fat one" and at times "dumb one" as well who is just obsessed with food and nothing more then that does get the odd good joke in this show with the same thing also being for Ursula as well but alot of this shows jokes just aren't that funny with the show at times coming across more as a drama then it is a comedy when everything about the show is designed to be a comedy and yet the makers of this show just don't give alot of the characters that many good jokes and while the shows target audience will find this show to be funny people who grew up with the original film or even with the 2023 live action remake won't find this show to be all that funny as the jokes that are in this show just aren't that good for the most part with alot of the shows jokes just falling flat in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Overall while this show might get better once more episodes are released these first eight episodes while there are a few good episodes in them aren't the best episodes to start this show off on as the show does very quickly fall into a formular where a character does whatever they want then ignores there friends and then when things backfire learns some sort of forced lesson that the audience has worked out near the start of the episode and that is something that really does bog the show down quite alot in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very show in this very review and as such that really does mean that this show really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official Disney fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website that I personally preferred to use to get the images that I personally used in this very review being the wonderful the official Disney fandom wiki page since all of the images that are currently up and and featured / presented to us on the official Disney fandom wiki page are all fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.

Some Of My Favorite Disney Renaissance Films From Worst To Best

Disney is a company that has shaped all of our childhoods be it from there wonderful short films or there fantastic animated feature films. They've always been there for us when we really needed them the most and while yes the company has fallen on stony ground as of late that really doesn't excuse the fact that when they are at there best they really can knock it out of the park and so then join me as I tell you what some of my favorite Disney Renaissance films are all from worst to best.

Pocahontas

To be frank this film really isn't all that bad but at the same time it's not all that good either with it's biggest sin being the fact that it's just straight up boring. With nothing really happening for the vast majority of the films running time and when you add in the fact that Disney in all honesty thought that this film was going to do better then The Lion King it makes you wonder why they didn't put alot more effort into crafting a film that really could have been better then The Lion King as the film had all of the potential to be one of the greatest Disney films ever made and yet it just wasn't all that good of a film and this is not including the fact that the romance between John and Pocahontas just felt incredibly forced as the two of them barely spend any time together to make there romance seem believable and while yes this is also true for alot of the classic Disney films those films were still trying to figure out how to be a good Disney film where as by this point they should have really nailed it home on how to make a good Disney film.

As was just stated this film had all of the potential to be one of the greatest Disney films ever made purely based of off the fact that unlike alot of the films made around this same tie period this one is actually based of off a real person. Yet even so they managed to get so much about her life wrong alot of which is fairly understood as alot of it just really wouldn't work all that well in a Disney film but when you commit to making a film about a person's life you owe it to that person to be as really faithful to their life story as you can be and as a result when you mess that up as this film did you going to make alot of people who really knew what this person's life both was before , during and after the events of this film really mad as they've actually done the research to find out what this person's life was actually like.

Hercules

Unlike the previous film in this post this film whilst still being a fairly bad film for this time period is at the very least an entertaining film. As the film does have alot of performances that are so iconic that people are actively asking Disney to cast the same actors for the upcoming live action remake and heck alot of what makes this films performances work is the fact that the characters are perfectly well cast which is also true for the previous film as well with the standout performer in this film being the great James Woods who just nails it as Hades so much so that he actively said that will be willing to come back if they ever need him to voice the character in anything ever again as he just loves playing the character that much and it's not that hard to see why as he really is an entertaining character that can be painfully funny at times and yet also be really scary and downright creepy at other times and sometimes even in the exact same scene which is always hard to do.

However just like with the previous film this film does suffer quite a few issues the first of which is the fact that for a musical there aren't that many actual songs in the film which granted is a small issue but it's still an issue none the less. Another issue but one that's fairly major is the fact that the film openly ignores parts of Zeus's character that we know from various history books like the fact that he wasn't that good of a father or the fact that he openly cheated on his wife which was something that she knew about and speaking of his wife due to Zeus cheating on her she was known to be a bit of diva often going into fits of rage whenever she didn't get her way and these aspects of both of those two characters shouldn't be ignored as it's something that could also serve as warning to Hercules of who he could've become like if he was taken from his father as baby boy.

The Hunchback Of Notre Dame

This film is undoubtedly the darkest film to come out of Disney during the Disney Renaissance era as the film touches upon themes that other films never even touched. Like for example child abuse , racism and to a lesser degree sexism all of which are themes and subjects that would never be touched upon in other Disney films and yet not only do this film touch upon each and every one of those subjects it tackles them all in way that is both family friendly enough to be in a Disney film but also dark enough to be considered mature and adult with the film being a very loose adaptation of the novel of  the same name by Victor Hugo the film dares to be something that other Disney films both before and since haven't been and that's thought provoking as this film makes you think about what it's talking about.

While this film does have some very minor issues like the annoying side comic relief characters who are there just to add bad comedy to the film and the fact that the romance between Esmeralda and Captain Phoebus does seem a little rushed you could also argue that that's the point as well as they are dealing with more serious issues as well. With the true standout for the film being the animation which is truly breathtaking to look at as it's something that not only looked great all the way back in 1996 but it's something that still holds up all of these years later with the visuals really being one of the best parts of the film next to the films songs of course but with the animation to bring alot of those songs to life alot of them just wouldn't hit home the same way that they do know as that's just how good the animation in this film and it makes you wonder why how managed to screw up the animation of the sequel film so badly as the animation in this film is just that good.

The Little Mermaid

The film that really did get this truly iconic era of Disney films going it's easy to forget just what big of an impact that this film had on Disney and indeed still does have on them today. As without this film being as good as at was the Disney Renaissance as we know it to be today might not have ever happened as Disney Animation was loosing quite alot of money and it's the kind of pressure that led them to going to back to what worked in the first place and that's fairy tails and telling universal stories and that's exactly what the plot of this film is as it's story is one that anyone can relate to in some shape or form and when you add in the fact that the film has animation whilst it does look dated today in some eras easily looks alot better then the animation that we're getting from the same studio today as alot more care and attention went into the animation of this film then what alot of the time goes into the animation in films being made today.

While this film does have some issues like the fact that the romance between Ariel and Eric wasn't all that good and the fact that the Eric doesn't have much of a personality out side of the fact that he likes to sail and that's really it. What really makes it work in this film as opposed to Pocahontas is the fact that the film is just pure fun to watch and isn't trying to be this deeply dark and serious film like Pocahontas was as this is a film that knows that it's a cheesy romantic and isn't afraid to be nothing more then that and when you add in the fact all of the songs of this film are well and true Disney classic it's really easy to see why this film really is as good as it was with this film being so good that people really were opposed to even just the idea of remaking the film in the first place let alone everything that really came after it and yet those same people still tuned in week after week to see the TV series as they just loved the character of Ariel really all that much.

Mulan

Unlike alot of the films that were released during the Disney Renaissance which were mostly based on either myths or fair tales/ This one is depending on who you ask based of off a real person from Chinese folklore with her story being wonderfully bought to life in this film with this film featuring some very truly stunning animation and voice acting with the film also having some really good dramatic moments none of which are undercut with the films more over the top comedic moments when it very easily could have been as we Eddy Murphy providing the comic relief and yet he's actually very subtle with his comedy playing something straight when it needs to be played straight and going all out over the top when the scene allows for that to be the case and yet even so while the film is indeed based of off a real life person it also doesn't go as far as it really cold have done with that aspect like for example the film doesn't tell us all that much about the Hua Mulan was as a person.

While the film does have some truly wonderful animation to it and some truly wonderful acting within it. The film does also very sadly have some things that let it down like the fact that the films songs aren't that good yes there are some good songs in there like for example "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" and "Reflection" but that's really it with the rest of the films songs being really bland and forgettable and the films whilst something new and different just isn't that good for the most part as while yes there are some interesting parts in the films plot like the fact that Mulan is doing this for her father is an interesting aspect to the films plot but the film does nothing with that aspect of the plot of the film as the father never really gets brought up again and while yes the film does show Mulan struggling to hide the fact that she's really a woman in an all boys army it's not enough to make that part of the plot all that more interesting then what it already is with the film also having a really rather weak romance subplot which felt out of place for this film to have in the first place.

Beauty And The Beast

If the previous film in this post made alot of mistakes when it came to the romance aspect of the film then this film made sure to correct all of those mistakes. As my god this film is perhaps the most romantic Disney film ever made and lot of that does come down to the fact that the romance between Belle and The Beast is really well handled with the characters seen going from people who can't stand to be in the same room as each other , to friends and to eventually more then friends and all of that seems alot more believable then the romance that in other Disney films as here we get to spend quite alot of time with them and we there for get to know them as characters and while yes there is always that ticking time boom of the final flower petal about to bloom it's not something that gets in the way of the romance as if the romance in the film doesn't work then the whole story doesn't  work and this is something that the makers of this film really did well and truly understand.

It really does go without does go without saying that one of if not the best parts about the whole film is the animation. As the animation in this film truly fantastic to look at and it's something that helped to advance the field of animation as before this film came out there had never been 2D animation mixed in 3D CGI animation in way that looked good and didn't take away from the scene and actually didn't look like 3D CGI whereas in alot of the films that tried that exact same thing even in Disney films alot of it really just looked like it was 3D animation and that most likely took people out of the film in question whereas here in this film the two really blend together perfectly so much so that if you were kid watching this film in the nineties nine times of ten you really didn't know that what you was seeing wasn't drawn on paper but was instead done in a computer.

The Lion King

Of curse this film had to be the best film released during the Disney Renaissance as this film is frequently cited as one of if not the best animated films released by Disney. Again so much so that people even questioned the need to a "live action" remake as not only is there no way to tell this films story in live action but also because of the fact that this film already told it's story so perfectly the first time that it made the whole point behind doing a remake seem even more pointless and what's all the more shocking is that Disney didn't consider this film a top priority for them when it was being made and as such they assembled what they considered to be there "b team" series of animators to work on this film while every one else worked on Pocahontas and yet all that did was light a fire underneath the people who animated this film as this films animation is truly gorgeous to look at from every single point of view.

Also helping to make this film as good as it is is the fact that every single thing about the film not only works but works well. With all of the songs being catchy songs that are still being played today with this also being helped by the fact that all of the films songs are really well written which is of no surprise as this films songs were written by the great singer and songwriter Sir Elton John and the great songwriter Tim Rice both of whom are really great singer and songwriters with this being helped by the fact that the films all of the songs are all really well sung with alot of them also really adding to either the plot of the film or the characters own personal characters arcs as well all of which make the films song both really good and really memorable as well all of which really make of this films songs some truly classic Disney songs that are still loved to this very day in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very post from the official Disney fandom wiki page and IMP Awards . Com. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images for this very post that I used in this very review being the great and legendary the official Disney fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not all of the images that are really from this episode and are of course on the official Disney fandom wiki page are really all fairly high in quality and as well as really them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

The Little Mermaid "Whale Of A Tale" Review

Disney fans the company has produced many animated films over the years and well some of those films were so popular that they eventually got there own TV series. Now how good those shows depends on who you ask but there is one thing that people cannot deney which this trend that Disney started started with The Little Mermaid and so I thought that i'd take a look at the very first episode of the show to see if it still holds up and so here is my review "Whale Of A Tale" enjoy.

The plot of the episode is Ariel and Flounder come across a baby killer whale and name it spot due to the spot on it's tail and the duo along with Sebastian are ordered by King Triton to train the whale before releasing it back into the wild. Plot wise the episode is pretty weak due to the fact that there aren't really any stakes and so there's no real reason as to why we the audience should be invested in the story but with that being said the story is exactly what you think of when you think of a TV show based on Disney's version of The Little Mermaid and it tells the story well enough that you barely notice any of the flaws that I just mentioned.

Reprising their roles from the film are Jodi Benson as Ariel , Samuel E. Wright as Sebastian and Kenneth Mars as King Triton. Joining them in this episode is Edan Gross as Flounder and Frank Welker as Spot. I love the fact that the crew behind the TV show actually reached out to get back as many of the original voice cast as they could since for many myself included these actors simply are these characters and so it makes sense that they would bring them back for the TV show instead of recasting all of the parts.

In terms of what I thought about the acting in the episode it was honestly a lot better then what I remember it being. Which for me is a very good thing but at the same time what makes the acting so good is the returning cast since they know these characters and so they know there character would react and how they would talk and so there performance feels true to the characters which is always a good thing.

Now this episode had animation provided by Walt Disney Animation Japan as well as Shanghai Animation Film Studio and Shanghai Morning Sun Animation. For an early nineties show the animation was alot better then it really had any right to be since alot of shows that came out around this time had animation that just looked cheap but nope here the animation actually good of course it's not on par with the movies but for a TV based of a movie it looks alot better then it really had any right to in my opinion.

This show is a prequel to the movie and so that means that you already know how this show and I guess this episode is going to end. Which I do consider to be a flaw for this episode since it makes the episode feel predictable which is a shame because given how the movie ended there's alot that you could do with a TV series set after the events of the movie but for some reason Disney went with a prequel series rather then a sequel series.

The heart of this episode for me at least is the friendship between Ariel and Spot without any dialog coming from Spot you get to see how much she means it / him which makes there bond a truly standout point of the episode. On the flip side of that you get to see Ariel become somewhat of a mother to Spot something which she even says herself in the episode and I thought that that was honestly a really interesting thing to do.

However the episode due to it's twenty four minuet running time can't really develop that or explore what it truly means to be a mother. As such it comes out of know where and doesn't play a part in the episode's climax Ariel just says it and that's it that's the only mention we get on the subject which is a shame because again there's alot you could do with that idea if the episode was given the proper time to fully develop that idea.

This episode and thus the show aired on CBS from 1992 to 1994 before moving over to the Disney Channel and Toon Disney Disney for reruns. What makes this episode however standout isn't where it aired but where's it didn't air because for some strange reason this episode isn't on Disney+ which is weird because Disney own the rights to the show and so they could have put up all the episodes but for some reason they added every episode barring this one for no reason whatsoever.

Now then boys and girls this is a musical comedy show and so we have to take a look at both of those aspects starting with the comedy. Which I honestly found to be rather hit and miss since for every good joke that the episode had there were two or three that followed it that didn't get a smile out of me which is a shame because they really went all out on the jokes but they just weren't that funny to me but given that all comedy is subjective maybe someone did find all the jokes in the episode to be freaking funny as all hell

Now that we've talked about the jokes in the episode let's now talk about the songs which were written by Jack Feldman. Yeah like the comedy both songs in this episode were very hit and miss for me with the first song "Just A Little Love" being in my opinion a pretty bad song which is full of early nineties cheesy music which dates it right away but on the flip side of that "You Got To Be You" is actually a pretty good song which oddly feels in keeping with the movie.

Overall this was a pretty fun episode but at the same given that it's a prequel and that Spot isn't mentioned in the film you know exactly what's going to happen. I can honestly see little kids or little girls getting more enjoyment out of this then little boys would but that's not to see that little boys will hate it it's just that this is a show aimed at little girls even so this episode gets a 7 out of 10 from this Disney fan.

All of the images that I used in this review were gathered from the official Disney fandom wiki page and for once nowhere else. I wasn't expecting alot of the images from the episode to be as high definition as they are but I was honestly shocked to see how many HD images there are of this episode and as such I have t recommend that you use the Disney fandom wiki page for any HD images from Disney owned shows or movies.

The Little Mermaid TV Series Review

Hey there Disney fans a few days ago I realized that i've never reviewed The Little Mermaid TV show despite not only growing up with it but also seeing and reviewing the movie well now that changes with my review of The Little Mermaid TV Series.

The show is a prequel to the movie but it's also an episodic series so there's no real plot to speak of which is fine if you've just watched the film and want to see more from these characters but if your like me and you grew up with the series first then you might be disappointed.

Now what's pleasing about this series is the fact that most of the films cast came back to voice there characters and those actors are Jodi Benson , Samuel E. Wright , Kenneth Mars and Pat Carroll and honestly they all do a perfect job with reprising there characters in all honesty the voice acting for this series is pretty spot on.

Now since this is a TV the quality in animation of course will take a huge dip but even I was shocked at how bad the animation was the characters alot of the times have awkward movements to them and are just plain drawn weird which is a shame because apparently Disney got the best TV animators they could to work on this series.

What really didn't work for me and it also got old very fast was the fact that the series tries to have many emotional moments in every episode i'm not opposed to a show having these kinds of moments but when they appear in most of the episodes it starts to get old very quick and the reason why they didn't work is because they didn't feel earned.

As I mentioned this is a prequel so there's no real threat at all both to the characters , there relationships or the kingdom why because there all in the movie so making a prequel series makes no sense why didn't they instead make a sequel series.

The comedy for me is very and i mean very hit and miss alot of the jokes in the series just flat out don't work and and aren't funny but the jokes that do work at best will only get a chuckle out of someone and won't make them laugh out loud.

We might as well call this series a musical since there's a song in most of the episodes and not all of them are bad infact alot of them are at best ok none are really memorable but that doesn't mean there not good all though I don't know why they mixed "Part of Your World", "Under the Sea", and "Kiss the Girl" for the opening theme it just seems like an odd thing to do.

Overall if you want to see more from these characters and that world then this is the show for you but if your not a fan of the film then I advise that you stay away from this show for me the show gets a 5 out of 10.

My Personal Top 5 Animated Disney Films

Hello there Disney fans Walt Disney Pictures have made some of the best animated films of all time there's no question about that but i'm sure your all wondering what my top 5 disney films are and before i tell you i want to lay down some ground rules first i'm only counting there animated movies since that's what there most famous for second it has to have gotten a cinematic release  third i'm not counting any of the Studio Ghibli film's that the company has released over here nor am i counting any of the PIXAR movies since they could get a list to them selfs and fourth it has to be feature length.

5) The Little Mermaid

i recently did a review on this movie so i won't go into to much detail here but for me the songs were good and the animation was great but the romance wasn't that great and neither was the story but it's a still a classic film none the less.

4) Zootopia / Frozen

i'm not gonna lie i couldn't pick one of these two movies to be at fourth place because of the fact they are good movies and unlike The Little Mermaid they have really solid stories that may be because of the fact that the writer of Frozen also wrote Zootopia but when you also add in the fact that i kinda liked these characters as well you'll see why this was a tough choice.

3) Beauty and the Beast (original)

i really enjoyed this film it's characters were fun and likable it's story was interesting and it had great animation the only real issue i have with the movie is the fact that Belle pretty much does nothing for most of the movie and when you think about she boils down to the typical Disney Princess.

2) Moana

i've made it no secret that i truly love this movie and what's not to love it has a great story , great characters and great songs there's nothing more i can really say about this movie that hasn't already been said.

1) The Lion King

This movie has all the things that Moana has so what makes it number one i here you ask well it has a memorable storyline, a memorable storyline and memorable songs and like Moana i can't really say anything about this movie that hasn't already been said it's a classic for a reason
