Some Animated Films That I Like

There have been alot of animated films released some are good , some are bad and some are downright strange but for this list i'm going to tell you some animated films that I like now alot of these films might not be your favorite but I ask that you respect me enough because I do like these films so here we go.

My Little Pony: The Movie

Honestly when this film was first announced I wasn't that excited just because I knew what kind of story they were going to tell with this film but even so when it came out I really enjoyed it even tho it can get a git repetitive at times if your a fan of the show it's a fun ride and it has some really great animation and songs.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Until about a few years ago I hadn't seen this film at all and i've glad that I have because it truly is a wonderful film and it's one that should be watched on both Christmas and Halloween it's a film that also makes you wonder if it's a Halloween or Christmas film but for me it's both since it contains the best of both elements.

I really would go on about how good the songs and animation are but that's honestly been done to death so I will say that the story is really fun and the characters are really memorable and likeable which is important for a film.

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut

It's a South Park movie how can they not make this funny , smart and clever? The film is not only really freaking funny it's songs also not only add to the story but they also add to the jokes as well heck even the name of the movie is a joke i'm not going to spoil what that joke is but when you find out it will make you see the name of this movie in a new light.

The Haunted World of El Superbeasto

This film is very mature in it's content it's not as mature as South Park but it's pretty close plus it's an animated film directed by Rob Zombie so you know it's going to be gory as hell and that they will be both swearing and nudity but if you can get past that then you'll find the film to be pretty damn funny it doesn't have great animation but for me that's something I can easily get past.

Moana

I make it no secret that I really like this film heck you could even say that I really love this film and what's not to like about it it has great characters , it's well written and well acted if you havn't seen this film then I highly recommend that you pick it up right away because it's that damn good.

Early Man

This film might have slipped alot of animation fans by and that's fair enough there's alot of animated films out there but if you ever get the chance to see this movie then I highly recommend it it's full of that typical Aardman charm that we all know and love plus it has Tom Hiddelstone playing a French man how is that not funny.

Heavy Metal

If you were to look up the word bizarre in the dictionary you'd find a picture from this film right next to it it's strange , weird , barely a film and yet for some unknown reason I like it words do not do this film justice it's something you have to watch in order to understand it and that's honestly one of the best things I can say about this film.

Please note that just because a movie isn't featured here it doesn't mean I don't like it as the title does suggest this is only some of the films that I like so if your a fan of Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm for example don't worry I like that film as well and if I ever do anougher list like this then chances are it will be included as well.

My Top 5 Best Animated Films of 2017

Well then guys and girls of the animation world since i just put out my worst of 2017 animated films list it's now time to move on to bigger and better things so here is my top 5 best animated films of 2017 and like before it has to have been released in 2017 and i have to have seen it.

Honorable Mentions

Batman Vs. Two-Face

I really couldn't find a place for this film on this list which is a shame because it is a really good film and it's the last time the late Adam West played Batman but in my eyes it's not as good as Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders.

Batman And Harley Quinn

In my eyes this wasn't a bad film it had alot of great moments with Harley Quinn but it felt like it was trying to hard to be the 60's Batman TV show instead of being it's own unique thing.

5) The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-WrestleMania!

In all honesty on paper this film should have failed but it's actually a pretty decent film with some fairly solid animation and voice acting plus it's better then the actual Jetsons movie we got from the 90's.

4) Cars 3

When Cars 3 was announced many people myself included most likely thought that it would be as bad as the second one but when that first teaser dropped we all knew we were in for something different and my god does film pull of the emotional story.

3) My Little Pony: The Movie

Yes i liked My Little Pony: The Movie so what it's well animated , well acted and i'll admit that the writing can be a bit of at times but when it's on it's really on and that's really all i can think of to say about this movie since everything i could have said i did actually say in my review of the film.

2) The Lego Batman Movie

Unlike The Lego Ninjago Movie this movie was actually funny and it put a different spin on Batman that i don't think has been seen and when you add in the fact that this movie is filled to the brim of imagination and creativity then i think it's clear why this film made the list so The Lego Batman Movie YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!!!!!!.

1) Coco

Let's be honest here we all knew this film was going to be number 1 but in my defense it truly is a great film it has some of the best animation i've seen all year mixed in with not only some of the best writing and acting but also the best songs and who here didn't cry at the end that's how good this film is and since this film doesn't come out in the UK (where i'm from and currently live) i could include it on next years list as well.

My Thoughts On My Little Pony: The Movie Trailer 2 And What Are My Hopes For The Movie

Hello there Pony fans we are just under a month away from seeing the ponies hit the big screen and since there was a new trailer dropped recently i thought i'd do a couple of things give you my thoughts on that trailer and then tell you what are my hopes for the movie.

Ok wow that was a good solid trailer i found it refreshing that it didn't give away to much of the plot beyond of course what we already know so that was fun i would say that the animation is great but since this is a second trailer i just won't bother. If you watched the Facebook live stream like i did then you might have noticed  that they told you why the ponies are in Equestria so they gave you some of the plot and you might have missed it.

We also got a bit of confirmation that Princess Cadence will be at least making a cameo why she would be so far from the crystal empire is anyone's guess but it's still nice to see her altho i couldn't help but notice that there was no Shining Armour or the baby and best character in this trailer is easily rarity she got all the best scenes this time round.

Now that trailer talk is out of the way lets move on to the movie and what i hope for it. I hope that this movie is first of all good which judging of these two trailers it will be but a trailer can be misleading. I also think that even for MLP the plot should make some kind of sense i don't want things don't make sense in terms of the plot to happen just because it's a kids film using the excuse "it's a kids film" for me won't cut it the plot has to make sense.

Another thing i hope they don't do is i hope they don't have a moment in the film where the Mane 6 so there separate ways because we know that won't last long because A) there's still a movie to finish and B) season 8 is already in the works so having a moment like that would just feel cheap and pointless because of those two reasons.

The final thing i hope for the movie is apart from it being a hit i hope the movie makes people who think the franchise is just for girls now think the complete opposite but that second one more of a long shot really but as any male pony fan or any grown up fan will tell you Friendship Is Magic.

Overall that was what i thought of the new trailer and what my personal hopes for the movie are please let me know what your thoughts for the movie are and what you thought of the second trailer down below.

My Little Pony: The Movie Trailer Review

Hello there Bronies and animation fans since i've not done a trailer review in a while and since the first official trailer for My Little Pony: The Movie dropped i thought i'd give you my thoughts on it and what i think of the movie thus far.

I have to admit that when i heard the trailer was dropping i was both sad and happy happy because it's been freaking months since the thirty second teaser dropped and since we got the 360 video but sad because i knew i wouldn't be able to see it until Thursday morning but when i saw it i was smiling from ear to ear like in this part of the trailer.

I have to admit i really like the animation so far granted what's in the trailer doesn't represent the whole movie but based on the trailer alone i can see that the animation and art style got a huge upgrade and for me that's a huge plus plus who didn't love Pinkie in this scene.

Now people have been saying this is a 2D animated movie i personally don't think it is since you can see alot of 3D animated shots just in the trailer alone i think there's about three or four and i have to say the 3D animated stuff looks like it mixes really well with the 2D characters.

The picture above is obviously from the opening of the movie and since you only get one chance at a first impression i have to say that including this in the trailer was a wise idea since now the fanbase can see that the artwork and the 3D got a huge upgrade from the show since the show has a tight budget and the movie has a bigger budget some improvements would have been needed.

This scene from the trailer is a great example of the shows humor it has something happen and then some random character jumps in with a great line and steals the scene and i hope the movies humor is as well written since both kids and adults should be able to laugh at MLP.

Now i never noticed when i first watched the trailer but if you look carefully in this scene you can see Luna and Celestia since it was so quick in the trailer i thought i'd point it out and it goes to show that the makers of the movie are not just using movie only characters apart from the mane 6 there's quite a few characters from the show crossing over i spotted Trixie and possibly Applebloom but i'm not 100% sure if that's her or not.

The rainboom is here to stay people i don't really have much else to say other then that altho this looks like it takes place in either the third act or late in the second act either way it doesn't give much away other then confirming that Rainbow Dash is cool and awesome something we already knew.

I only have one minor complaint tho and that's the fact that the stars from the show are not credited in the trailer while i do understand why this is the case i still would have liked to see them get the credit they deserve.
