Puffs Filmed Live Off-Broadway Review Some Spoilers Might Be Ahead

Harry Potter fans i've reviewed alot of the films and even the script to the stage play but i've never reviewed or for that matter even watched a Harry Potter stage production before well now that has changed because i've just finished watching a stage production and here is my review of Puffs Filmed Live Off-Broadway.

The play basically retells the events of the books but it tells them from a different perspective that being from the point of view of several Hufflepuff students and it throws in a comedic twist. I admit when i first downloaded the play I had no idea what to expect so it wasn't very high on my list of things to watch but after watching a clip of it online it shot right up there and while there might not be a story which to me is fine because if you want the story you can just read the books or see the films it's worth watching just to see what they add to it.

Since the cast list is so small each actor is playing at least two roles so starring in the play we have Madeline Bundy as Suzy , Jessie Cannizzaro as Sally , Anna Dart as Hannah , Alex Haynes as J.Finch , Reginald Keith Jackson as Oliver , Sonia Mena as Meghan , Andy Miller as Leanne , Zac Moon as Wayne and Harry Waller as The Narrator.

I admit I wasn't expecting the cast to be any good in fact I would have just settled for OK but in truth the cast is pretty good there really good when it comes to the comedy and while they don't really get the emotional moments they do there best with them and for me that's enough but i also have a feeling that they could have done better with those moments if the script allowed for it.

Considering that this is a stage production they get alot of cinematic angles i'm not sure if that's because they were filming something so they had the crew for it or what but there are shots in here which look really good. Even tho the premise of this play basically follows all of the books they do manage to add in there own storyline there's one that starts near the end of what would be the first book and it has a really good pay off.

Now just because this focuses on a different bunch of characters doesn't mean that the more well known characters don't make an appearance and it's really fun to see how those characters get represented i'm not going to say how there presented in this production but if you ever do see this you will laugh at how the represent Ron and i personally love what they did with Cedric I thought it was really funny and yet at the same time something that i'd never thought of.

I don't think this needs saying since they do all seven of the books but incase you guys think of it as a spoiler i've thrown up the old spoiler warning. They do the Battle Of Hogwarts and while there are jokes added in there it's mainly treated as a serious issue and i'll be the first to say I didn't expect them to do the battle at all so when it started I was really surprised by it heck they even do a spin on the harry and Dumbeldoor scene from the final book which was really funny.

There's alot of jokes in this play and all of them are really funny I don't think there was ever a time where I wasn't laughing out loud they even throw in a pretty funny Fantastic Beasts reference and a Doctor Who reference in the same scene. One of the jokes that really caught me of guard but at the same time was really freaking funny was learning who did the sex ed class at Hogwarts i'm not going to spoil but the first person you think of when you think of sex ed at Hogwarts is exactly who it is.

Overall if you ever get the chance I suggest you go and order the DVD which you can get from puffs the play . com no spaces it really is worth it because it's so funny and since this is basically a fan made thing i'm not going to give this a rating.

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Review With HUGE Spoilers

Hey there Harry Potter fans i like the rest of the world have the newest HP adventure in my collection and i'm going to review it right here right now so get ready because there will be alot of spoilers.

Now before i begin i will only be reviewing the book and not the stage play so here we go. The story for the book picks up literally when the final book ends and it mainly focuses on Harry , Ginny , Hermione , Ron , Draco and the sons of Harry and Draco and i have to admit the book does all of the characters justice and does a great job of making Albus a flawed character and the same goes for Harry. The story as well is really easy to follow and has plenty of twists and turns that keep you hooked from start to the draw dropping finish.

The writer Jack Thorne does a great job of not only telling us what the characters have been up to in the years since the seventh book and this one and also telling a wonderfully crafted story the characters are almost exactly as you remember them and while there are times when you will hate Harry for what he says and does in the book i got the feeling that's because the story is being told from the point of view of Albus so your seeing Harry as Albus see's him just like we see Ginny as this wonderful caring mother.

The characters have grown up alot in the 19 years between storys we see that Harry as a job in Magical Law Enforcement , Hermione is now the Minister Of Magic , Ron works at his brothers Joke shop but is mostly a stay at home dad and Ginny writes for Daily Prophet doing all the sports articles and Draco is still Draco in that he's a bit of bully to the characters but even he grows as a person by the time the book is finished to the point were he and Harry are friends.

Hermione herself takes on a more assertive role this time often telling Harry and Ron when there in the wrong and is one of the people who works out why Delphi is going back in time. There are alot of twists and turns in this story and that's good because it keeps you guessing which way the story is going to go at first you think it's going one way and then something will happen and it goes another way.

Now onto the biggest surprise the reveal that the Dark Lord himself has a kid and that you the reader have until that point hopefully have been cheering her on because we find out the Delphi is Voldermorts daughter and it's done in a way that was really well handled i wont give away two much about the scene but it is worth reading just to see how they do it and you also find out who her mother is and it is ....................................Bellatrix Lestrange it turns out that some point during The Deathly Hallows the dark lord felt a little randy and got it on with Bellatrix.

The third act is really thrilling it's also very well written and very action packed again not much will be spoiled but it does involve the date October 31st 1981 and Godric's Hollow. I actually liked how they portrayed Ron in the book he was always the goof ball of the trio and since this film is so dark and it does get quite heavy at times to me it makes sense that they would make him the comic relief and we do get to see alot of your favorite characters come back and some are not in the way you'd think either and others are exactly how you think they would come back.

Overall if this is the end of Harry's story then i'm glad it's ended here but i don't want it to be the end of Albus's and Scorpius's story tho i reckon they have a few more adventures left in them so overall i would give this book a solid 8 out of 10 because while it is really good it does also have it's problems.
