The Top 5 Scooby-Doo! Films That I've Seen

Scooby fans i'm going to do something that no one has ever done in the history of ever and that's ........................................make a list about Scooby-Doo! movies but what will hopefully make mine stand out a little bit more is i'm only counting the movies that i've seen so if your favorite isn't on the list then it's either lower down or I havn't seen it.

5) Scooby-Doo (2002)

I know alot of people don't like this film and that's fair enough I myself have some issues with this film but I also have fond memories with it as well and it's a film that I grew up with and that's why it's on this list that and it gave us a look at future Shaggy Matthew Lillard.

4) Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold

I'll admit that when I first saw the trailer I thought that this film would be pretty bad and to a degree it is but it's not as bad as I thought it would be while there are some unfunny jokes in this movie there's some decent jokes as well as some nice animation.

3) Lego Scooby-Doo! Blowout Beach Bash

This was the first Lego Scooby-Doo! movie i've seen and for some reason I thought it was going to be like The Lego Movie but instead I got a fun and fresh take on the gang and the computer animation honestly wasn't that bad altho there was some cringy moments in this movie.

Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold Review

Hello Scooby fans and Batman fans these two franchises are no strangers to each other when it comes to crossovers with the Mystery Inc gang teaming up with Batman on several occasions in the past but this is the first time that a crossover has taken place in a feature film so let's find out if it's any good.

The plot of this movie is Batman enlists the help of Mystery Inc to help him solve one of his few unsolved cases when new information shows up. Meanwhile they also have to deal with a new mysterious villain who calls himself the 'Crimson Cloak' who is planning to take over Gotham City. I have to admit the story for the most part is really easy to follow and you don't know where the story is really going i say it's easy for the most part because in the final battle it does get a little hard to follow.

In this movie we have the Scooby regulars Frank Welker , Matthew Lillard , Grey Griffin who's also returning as Black Canary and Kate Micucci and representing the Brave and The Bold cast we have Diedrich Bader , Tara Strong , Nika Futterman and John Michael Higgins. I have to say that the acting in the movie was really good but that's not really a surprise considering who's in the cast Diedrich sounds good as Batman the only person who sounded strange to me was Nika Futterman as catwoman and that's just because i'm not used to hearing her as the character.

I thought that the mystery aspect of the film was quite lacking and by that i mean the movie gives you no hints at all as to who the culprit is it just comes from out of know where in the third act so i feel that the makers of the movie could have out a little more effort into making a good solid mystery.

After being scared by the terrible animation of the last Tom and Jerry movie i'm quite please to say that the animation in this crossover film isn't that bad there's alot of good facial expressions and that helps sell some of the comedy alot more. There's also some great movement from the characters which was something i never thought i'd get in a crossover movie.

This is more of a comedic Batman movie but with that being said the comedy isn't really that funny Plastic Man does get a few funny lines here and there but that's really it and there's a great reference to Scooby-Doo creators Joe Ruby and Ken Spears and there's a kinda funny moment where they make fun of the fact that Shaggy and Scooby are always the bate when it comes to the plans.

Since this is also a superhero movie there is a few action scenes but since this is a kids film they don't actually show that much of it instead they insert white flashes which get old quick and when they don't do that the action mostly consists to villains being thrown into things and that's really all you get into of fights.

The Scooby-Doo! films usually have some cool looking intro with some pretty decent music but for this film both the intro and the music were pretty dull looking and dull sounding honestly i could have fallen asleep during the intro it was that dull.

Overall this is an average Scooby-Doo! movie i admit it's not as bad as thought it would be but it's also not as good as i think it could've been if you have either little kids or a little niece or nephew who love either Scooby-Doo! or Batman then i see no harm in showing them this movie but for me it's a perrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect 5 out of 10.

Some Animated Films Coming Out In 2018

2018 is no longer upon us it's here and that means we get a whole host of new movies to talk about but for this list i'm only looking at the animated side of things and please note i won't be listing all of the animated films coming out this year only a small handful and not all of them will be good so here we go.

Isle Of Dogs

This film written and directed by Wes Anderson looks fantastic and looking at the cast list on Wikipedia i can say that the cast is freaking impressive we have the likes of Bryan Cranston , Edward Norton and Bill Murray among many more providing voices.

Woody Woodpecker

Yeah when I said some of the films on this list might not be good this was one of the films I was talking about but that doesn't change the fact that it's happening nor does it change the fact that Woody looks hideous and is really freaking annoying.

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight

There's going to be alot of DC animated films coming out this year but Gotham By Gaslight is the one that comic book fans are excited about the most now i havn't read the original story but i do know that the movie features Batman taking on Jack The Ripper.

Early Man

As you guys know i'm a fan of Aardman Animations and this film looks like Aardman at there best it also helps that they a pretty good cast with the likes of Eddie Redmayne , Tom Hiddleston and game Of Thrones star Maisie Williams all doing voices for the film.

Duck Duck Goose

This is one film where i have no clue if it will be good or not i mean parts of the trailer look funny but then it cuts to something like a fart joke so we will have to wait and see on this one.

Incredibles 2

There you go guys Incredibles 2 is on this list since there's no full trailer for the film released yet i can't fully say if this will be good or not but going of the teaser trailer i can say it will at least be entertaining and we all know this will make a killing because of the fact it has a die hard fan base.

Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold

When i first saw the trailer for this film i laughed and not because it looked good but because for me the film looked pretty bad and yes i know Scooby has teamed up with Batman before but the two franchises do not occupy the same fictional world so how are they going to explain the Scooby gang suddenly bumping into the DC gang? It makes no sense at all.

Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero

To prove that not all animated films have to comedy's we have this little gem it's based on a true story about a dog who becomes a hero during World War 1 and i have to say it looks to be truly heart breaking and heartwarming and i look forward to seeing it.

Smallfoot

There's only been a teaser released for this film but i will say that based of that teaser the film does look to be pretty funny of course weather or not that turns out to be true or not only time will indeed tell.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

This is the film which had a trailer that took the internet by storm and it's not hard to see why the film looks amazing and for once we have someone other then Peter Parker being Spider-Man we now have fan favorite Miles Morales in the tights and in his first ever film.
