My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: The Ticket Master Review

As a franchise My Little Pony has been going on for quite literally decades with the franchise spawning several TV shows and movies. However there's no question that it became more popular then it's ever been in 2010 thanks to the release of Friendship Is Magic and well it's been a while since an episode of that show was last talked about by me so I thought that i'd dive right back in and review another episode of the show and so then join me as I review the episode that really could been solved just a few minuets in with the episode in question being called simply just "The Ticket Master" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when Twilight gets given a ticket to prestigious ball she has to chose just one of her friends to go with her a task that is made harder when all of Ponyville gets wind of the extra ticket and wants to go as well. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad however tho this episodes plot wasn't all that good as it did come across as being like the kind of plot that you'd expect to find in a filler episode of an anime in that all it was there was to basically show you what the rest of the shows plots could be like moving forward which in all fairness is a pretty decent thing to do and even with that in mind this episodes plot was still a really fun plot that offered alot of really fun and more often then not funny interactions between all of the characters however when the previous two episodes went out of there way to show you just how epic that the show could be with it's more mature themes and storytelling it does feel out of place for this episode to suddenly go the more family friendly route which is something that does make sense as this was a show that was made for the whole family but at the same time it does kind of feel weird that after this truly epic two part episode we now get five of the six main characters arguing over a spare ticket when in just the last episode alone they were working together to save their world and while it's understandable to have the more epic plot come first as it sets up all of the main characters there could have been something in this plot that made it a little bit epic in it's own unique way with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is voice acting legend and Beetlejuice: The Animated Series star Tara Strong as Twilight Sparkle and Ashleigh Ball as Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Also starring in this episode is Andrea Libman as Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy , Star Wars: Ewoks , Swamp Thing and Beetlejuice: The Animated Series star Tabitha St. Germain as Rarity and Iron Man: Armored Adventures star Cathy Weseluck as Spike.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With it being clear as day that all of this episodes main actors have alot of really great chemistry together even tho there were most likely not even in the same room when the episode was being made in the first place with all of them turning in some really good performances in their own right which is something that really does make alot of sense as alot of this episodes actors are a bunch of really good actors in their own right with alot of them voicing characters from our own childhoods and pretty much being THE voices for these characters as that's just how good that all five of them really are in this episode and while only five actors in the whole show is a small list of actors to have it is something that does work well enough for this episode as it allows for all of this episodes to get alot of screen time and to show us just how good of an actors that they all are with the episodes best actor being Tara Strong which yes is a bit of cliche thing to say but she really is good in this episode as she goes from being painfully funny in one scene and then in the very same scene also be very serious and you totally by into it as it feels like something that her character would say and do with this episodes acting really being helped by this episodes script as the script for this episode is just so good that all this episodes actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Top Draw Animation. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good as while the show was always animated in flash because of the fact that it's cheaper to do it that way that is something that work well for this show and for this episode as this is a show and an episode that really doesn't require that much money be spent on it as it this point in the shows history it was still trying to find it's feet and to that end the shows animation does come across as being alot more better then what it really had any right to be as while yes the some of the characters movements can be a bit stiff at times when they get it looking good however the characters then have these really fluid looking movements to them however tho where this episodes animation does fall a little bit flat is in the backgrounds as the backgrounds in this episode do look a little flat and uninteresting now this is something that could be due to the fact that the whole show was animated in flash as it's not an issue that's exclusive to this episode but at the same time it is something that you notice quite alot in this episode as the episode does spend quite a lot of it's running time outdoors as none of the backgrounds in this episode have any depth to them and instead look like that they were painted on some cardboard but in saying that tho we do get some really nice looking shots in this episode as well just due to how good and how pretty that this episodes animation can be.

Twilight spends the whole episode trying to work out who to give the spare ticket to as she doesn't want to upset all of her friends. When all she had to do was give it it Applejack because all of her other friends wanted to go for selfish reasons where as Applejack wanted to to go for a selfless reason as she wanted to sell more apples there as that would help her family busisness and improve her families way of life and that's really it which is a really good reason to go to this ball where as all of the ponies had rather selfish reasons for going be it wanting to visit the garden or to impress some people all of which are things that could be considered selfish and heck even when the group realise that they've been forcing Twilight to stress out over this due to them not leaving her alone like she asked them to it's Applejack that's the first to apologize and lead the others into saying that they wont go to the ball anymore which again is an incredibly selfless thing to do but for whatever reason the episode does spend alot of time with Twilight trying to work out something that was already lied out in front of her to begin with which is something that's true to her character as one of the things that made her well her is the fact that she's always honest and so when show says that she wants to go to this ball to help to sell more apples you know that it's the truthful answer but given that the show was still trying to find itself at this point in time it is forgivable that they would have Twilight ignore all of this as technically Twilight doesn't know any of them all that well and so she would have no reason to trust Applejack on her word as for all she knows she could have been lieing to her in the first place.

However tho there is something else that could have ended the plot of this episode right at the start of the episode itself. With that being the fact that if Twilight had just asked for more tickets from Princess Celestia in the first place then she wouldn't have to chose which of her friends to take with her as they'd all get to go in the first place something which does end up happening when she writes to Princess Celestia saying that she won't go if all of her friends can't go which makes the whole episode feel pointless as she very easily could have written another letter at the start of the episode or even in the middle of the episode just explaining the situation and asking for more tickets in the first place while the show was still finding itself when this episode was being made this is something that really should have been fixed very early on in the development of the episode as it makes the entire episode come across as being rather quite pointless or if your not going to have Twilight write the letter asking for more tickets then have her suggest that they could do something that's equally as fun together as the show is meant to be all about friendship anyway this is something that would make alot of sense but for whatever reason the makers of this show chose not to do that and yet by not addressing this issue it does leave us with what could be seen as being a plot hole in the episode albeit not a very big one but it still could be one nonetheless with it seeming like the writers of this episode Amy Keating Rogers & Lauren Faust just didn't know what to do for this episode and so they just had the main character ignore the obvious way to fix it until the very end of the episode where they the have do the very thing that could have fixed the issue in the first place.

As much wrong as there is with the way that the show did this plot from a writing point of view it did get something right an it's the most simple thing it's the fact that they showed how all of her friends where doing ore harm then good to Twilight. As while yes they all just really wanted to know who got the extra ticket to this ball called The Grand Galloping Gala it's seeing how they all ultimately do more harm then good as they all try and upstage each other some in subtle ways and then in the case of Pinkie Pie throwing a Ponyville wide party when all Twilight wants to do is have some time to herself so that she can just think and get some lunch in her and that's it and yet because of each of them choose to put themselves first and not think of her and her wants and her needs then they do come of as looking like bad friends as no friend worth there salt would ever put pressure on someone to choose them for something especially if it meant not choosing quite literally any of the other friends as that's not only a bad thing to do regardless of your age but it's also something that does make you come off as looking like a selfish person so much so that Twilight would have been well within her right to say that she's not taking any of them and instead chose Spike as he was the only one that was helping her out just because it was the right thing to do and yet by showing all of the other ponies act in such way it does also make them feel more three dimensional as well as it shows to us the audience that these characters do have flaws and as we see in the episode are more then willing to grow and to learn from those flaws and become better people or in this case ponies because of it and while the episode does understandably wrap things up in a nice little bow at the end of the episode as this is still a kids show afterall it still would have been nice to show the characters that put all of this pressure on Twilight not get what they want as all that does is tell the kid audience that if you put pressure on people for selfish reasons then you still get what you want in the end.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty two minuets exactly. Which is pretty much the exact grand total running time for this show to have in the first place and to be fair to this episode this episode really does have the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time but tho in saying that whilst the episode does use it's running time wisely in one respect it doesn't use it wisely in another as the episode does develop it's plot as well as it's ever going to given the fact that this is a kids show and those don't typically develop there plots that well let alone if it's plot from very early on in the shows run and so to expected this episodes plot to be that well developed would be asking a bit much from this show but what isn't asking much is for the episode to develop it's characters alot more then what it already is as this episode really doesn't develop it's characters all that well this si despite the fact that it does show all five of Twilights friends do have flaws that they over come in the episode however the episode really doesn't give us the audience a reason to want Twilight to pick them as outside of Applejack who is the only one that has a legitimately selfless reason for wanting to go to The Grand Galloping Gala in the first place none of the other characters are shown in a positive light prior to the episodes third act and therefor it does make it seem like that these characters are just selfish characters and while of course the previous episode would make it look like that there all good people this episode doesn't show any of that from the rest of the characters when they really should have done as then Twilight would have an actually understandable struggle when it comes to choosing which of her friends to take with her to The Grand Galloping Gala in the first place but I really will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With this episode having alot of painfully laugh out loud moments in it with this episode really being worth watching just for it's comedy alone as all of the episodes characters get alot of good jokes in it be it Applejack bringing Twilight a bunch of apple related foods just to try and soften her up or Rainbow Dash quite literally zipping a cloud shut there's plenty of good jokes in this episode however tho this episodes best joke is quite easily when Pinkie Pie throws Twilight up in the air several times and each time you just see Twilight is getting less and less amused by what's going on which is such a simply joke and yet it's one that does get a really big laugh in the episode just because of the fact that it does feel completely in character for both of those characters at that point in time as all Twilight wants to do is have some time to herself to think things through properly and all Pinkie wants to do is just be herself and that is a combination that does result in comic gold and while the running joke of Twilight just not being able to get some lunch while all her friends just bother her which is a cute little joke which is something that could also be said for alot of this episodes jokes as well as all of this episodes jokes are really good in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is a solid episode but at the same time tho it's also a really bland and really generic episode of the show as well as it goes to all of the places that you think that it would go to and in the exact same way that you think it would do as well but in fairness tho this episode really does have some saving graces to it tho in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all pf the images that I personally used in this very review from the official My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fandom wiki page and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the really great the official My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fandom wiki page really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode with alot of them being better quality then what you'd really think of and all of the images are really of course up and really on the official My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fandom wiki page are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic: The Perfect Pear Review

Every so often we all get songs that just pop back into our heads for no reason well the very same thing happend to me just a few short days ago. With that very song leading me to suddenly remember this episode and well I thought that i'd review it for all today as it's meant to be a very popular episode in the My Little Pony fandom and so then join me as I review the episode that as a song so catchy that i'm willing to bet that alot of you are singing it right now with the episode in question being called simply just "The Perfect Pear" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when a pony returns of Ponyville the Apple siblings go on a quest to learn more about their parents. Now then interms of  what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good as it was a really simple plot and that's what this show does best nice and simple plots and while yes there are episodes that have complicated plots this is an episode that really didn't need a complicated plot at all it just a plot that was nice and simple and that was exactly what we got given to us in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is Ashleigh Ball as Applejack , Michelle Creber as Apple Bloom and Peter New as Goldie Delicious and Big Mac. Also starring in this episode is William Shatner as Grand Pear , Felicia Day as Pear Butter , Tabitha St. Germain as Mrs. Cake / Chiffon Swirl and Granny Smith , Bill Mondy as Burnt Oak and A Townspony , Bill Newton as Bright Mac and Cathy Weseluck as Mayor Mare.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not bad. Which is to be expected as the show had been going on for seven years at this point and it really does help that this episodes cast are a bunch of really talented voice actors who know what kind of performance would suit their respective characters in any given scene and it's also helped by the fact that this episodes script is so good that all the cast have to do is just say the words as they written and a good performance will come out them naturally as that's just how good the script for this episode really is.

Doing the animation for this episode is the legends and the greats that are currently over at Top Draw Animation. Now then interms of what Im personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad but that's also the issue as it wasn't all that good either that's not tom say that the animation was bad because it wasn't it was however just OK best with there not really being any standout pieces of animation which is a shame because on paper this episode should have had at least one stand put piece of animation in it.

I think we all now the reason as to why this episode is as loved as it is and that's because it tells a genuinely good love story. With the closest thing that I can think of to compare this love story was that of Romeo & Juliet as the stories of both Romeo & Juliet and this episode are fairly similar with both of the people in love coming from families that absolutely hate each other and while this show for rather obvious reasons couldn't go down the dark route that Romeo & Juliet goes down it's still a rather sweet thing to see as it really a tale that's as old as time and when it's done right like it is in this episode then we end up with something that's not really truly special but also something that people will remember for a long time to come.

Really helping with this episode being a huge fan favorite is it's song which is called "You're In My Head Like A Catchy Song" and is written by the episodes co-writers Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco. I have t admit that I really do love this song as it's not only a really well written with the song advancing the plot of these two characters but it's also a genuinely really good song that is really sung by actress Felicia Day with this song being just like it says in the songs title a very catchy song that will stay n your head fora long time after finishing this episode and you when add in the fact that the songs matches the visuals perfectly then it's no wonder that this song is just that damned good of song that's perfect for this episode in the first place.

While there are alot of good things to be found in this episode there are some things that I didn't like about the episode like the fact that Grand Pear gets redeemed which to me shouldn't have happened as it would have said to people that sometimes people just don't get over grudges at all. The other thing being the fact that it seems out of character for all of these characters who up until now would have most likely have been saying that lying is bad to suddenly be written as liars and while they do give an in episode reason as to why the characters are acting like that it's still something that shouldn't have happend as the episode still could have told it's story without using the characters that use for the flashbacks by instead creating brand new characters.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly twenty two minuets and fifty eight seconds. Which is a bit of short running time for this episode to have as this episode would, have been better served if it was a two part episode as then the story could have been allowed to breathe more and it would also allow the episode to really tug at your heartstrings alot more as well but at the same time however as the episode only really has enough plot for this one episode if they did stretch it out to two episodes then they would have been making the plot really weak and really thin and that in the long run would do a huge disservice to both the plot and to the show as a whole and I will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it.

So now then as the is some comedy to be found in this episode that means that I gave to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / resented to us in this very episode well ten in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with this episode some really cute and funny moments. Which is something that I was really surprised by as it would have made sense for them just to focus on the romance aspect of this episode and yet fr all the amount of romance that they give us in this episode they give us these really cute little comedic moments which worked really well in this very episode in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this was a really fun and a really sweet episode with it being really obvious to see why this episode became such a fan favorite episode as it's an episode that really tug at your heartstrings in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the ad things that are in very episode in this very very review and as such that means that means that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 7 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girl and as well ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from the official My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fandom wiki page , Wikipedia and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from these very episodes that I used in this very review being the official My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fandom wiki page simply just due to the fact that alot of the images that are featured / up and on the official My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic fandom wiki page are all really fairly high in quality and as well as being fairly freaking high in definition.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic Review

Hello there pony fans i've reviewed alot of stuff to do with this franchise from the various Equestria Girls specials to the big screen movie but the one thing that i've never reviewed is the series so here is my review of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.

The premise of this series is Twilight Sparkle is sent to the village of Ponyville from Princess Celestia to learn all about friendship. This show is for the most part episodic but there are episodes that reference events from past episodes and in the case of the season 5 finale takes place during an event described in a previous episode so in that sense there's no real story which does work for this show but I also wish that there was a story to speak of.

Starring as the mane characters are Tara Strong as Twilight Sparkle , Tabitha St. Germain as Rarity , Ashleigh Ball as Applejack and Rainbow Dash , Andrea Libman as Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie and Cathy Weseluck as Spike. As you can see I didn't name every single actor who's on the show well that was done to save my own sanity so I boiled it down to just the main cast of characters.

The acting in the show i'll admit doesn't start of well but that's to be expected since the cast are only just starting to find there respective characters but it does get better over the course of the series and now I cannot picture these characters being voiced by any other actor each of these actors has made these characters their own.

The animation for the series is handled by Hasbro Studios and to be pretty honest there are times where the animation almost looks like it could in a movie but then again there are a few times where you can tell that this movie was made cheaply and it makes me wish that they would put more money into the animation but when it's good it's great.

I'm trying to be fair in this review since I am a fan of the show and have been since season 6 but tho even as a fan I can say that the show does have it's fair share of problems and so I hope that you respect me for pointing out those problems but the show is still very freaking enjoyable.

Even tho the show is made for little girls the show has a huge amount of male fans who call themselves Bronies and honestly i'm glad that the show has gone against normality since the show is all about friendship and inclusion but tho there still seems to be a stigma attached to being a male and liking this show and I don't understand why since anything that teaches about friendship should be encouraged heck the Brony fanbase is so strong that there are two films made about them the first called Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony and the second called A Brony Tale both of which I recommend.

You guys might not realise it yet but the show will have been on for eight years this October for any show eight years is a very respectful run and the fact that even when we are in season 8 they are still coming up with fresh ideas really does astound me I would have run out of ideas after one season so how these writers keep on coming up with more is truly amazing.

Throughout those eight years the show has had three main executive producers for seasons 1 through 2 it was  Lauren Faust who pretty much set the standerd for the rest of the series for season 3 it was Jayson Thiessen and he also did the job for season 4 alongside the shows head writer Meghan McCarthy and I have to say that while I thought the transition would be jarring it actually wasn't and it felt rather smooth.

What I noticed while watching this series was that for the premiers and finale's the episodes mostly featured on Twilight even tho her friends do help out in those episodes Twilight always felt more like the main character in those episodes and I have no idea why why couldn't the main character in say the season 2 two part opener be Fluttershy all you would have to do is switch Twilight out with her and the story would still work.

I actually cannot believe i've not spoken about the character designs yet I honestly think that the designs do work for this show but I have a feeling that they were designed more for the guys who make the toys just because each character is so uniquely designed and these designs cannot be easy to animate but there sure as hell great to turn into a toy.

Make no mistake about it the whole purpose of this show is to sell toys and that's it the fact that it's become a hit show that didn't come from Hasbro that was from Lauren but there were times while watching the show that I went "Now at a store near you" and I mostly did that whenever they made a major change to the series.

This is a kids show which means there are lessons to be learnt but before I get to those I have to say that having a character learn the same lesson over and over again isn't good in fact it makes the character seem rather stubborn like there not willing to change even tho they've just seen how much better it would be I think you can work out which character i'm talking about i'm not going to mention her by name but just see the above picture you'll know who I mean.

The show does a good job of teaching it's lessons none of them feel forced altho I can see people getting annoyed by the fact that the power of friendship saves everything but the lessons that this show teaches are lessons that kids need to learn and there lessons that we as adults could do with remembering especially given how the world is today.

The music and sings for this show are done by the crazy talented by Daniel Ingram this dude needs to do more shows and movies in the future because he is so freaking talented alot of the songs in this show are really good but alot of them are forgettable and that's not something you want in your show but they can't all be good but for me the shows best song is Your In My Head Like A Catchy Song which is you havn't heard go and look it up on youtube.

Overall if your not a fan of My Little Pony I do recommend you at least check out the season 1 premier that's the episode that got me interested in this franchise and i've not looked back heck the show is so popular right now that's spawned various TV specials and a hit feature film but the show does have it's fair share of problems which I have to take into account so it gets a 7.5 out of 10 from me.

Some Animated Shows I Want To Review

Cartoon fans you know me I write alot of of reviews some are for movies and some are for TV shows and while I do talk about a lot of shows that I love there's always more shows from my childhood and even present day so here are some shows that I hope to review at some point in the near future.

The Dukes

Back in 2005 maybe 2004 I became a fan of a show called The Dukes Of Hazzard and I would watch it any chance I got heck i've even seen both remake movies and both reunion movies but i've never seen this animated spin-off all the way through.

Looney Tunes

Little known fact I was pretty much all set to do this about a month ago but my laptop was running out of space and without realizing it when I deleted alot of the videos I had on there I also deleted all of the Looney Tunes videos I had downloaded in preparation for the review but I do intend on getting back to it at some point.

Adventure Time

This is a review that i'm going to do whenever the final four episodes drop online so I'm not going to go into why I want to do it right here because honestly it would be pretty pointless.

Most Scooby-Doo! Shows

Guys the only thing that's stopping me from doing this review is the fact that there's so many Scooby Doo shows out there and i'm only one man and the only thing that's stopping me from reviewing all of the shows is the fact I don't want to be in a situation like I was in when doing all three Avatar seasons so I would have to really think about which show I want to tackle and go from their.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

Again this is a series i'm going to tackle but it will be once season 8 has finished airing not directly after but in the months after it is what I mean and i'm doing not only because i'm a fan but because more shows aimed at little kids should be talked about.

James Bond Jr.

I promised this sometime last year on the James Bond amino and it still is on my list of things to review it's just that other shows have leapt ahead of it but I will get to it at some point because not alot of James Bond fans don't know about this show.

Tiny Toon Adventures

This is a show that I will frequently go back and re-watch whenever i'm bored and it's a show that in my mind should be talked about since it's still really funny and there's alot more adult jokes in the show then you remember.and incase your wondering why shows like Steven Universe or Star vs The Forces Of Evil are on here look at the name of the post.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic "School Daze" Spoiler Free Review

Hello fans of the hit franchise My Little Pony season 8 of Friendship is Magic has finally premiered after what seems like forever and what a pair of episodes we have to talk about today so lets get ready because I think I can hear the school bell ringing.

Now incase you was wondering if the show would even mention the events of the movie the first scene makes it very clear i'm not going to say if the movie is cannon or not since this review is spoiler free so if you want to know you'll have to ask me directly.

The plot of the episodes sees Twilight and her friends opening up a school for friendship (it's two early to say if the school will be a permanent fixture or not) and it follows there attempts to run the school. I have to say that i'm glad they have matured these characters to such a degree that they are now the ones teaching other creatures about friendship instead of being the ones learning about it it makes all of the character regression from Fluttershy seem worth it.

Now of course we have all of the regular cast so I won't both to credit them here since there obviously going to be in the episodes but hopefully joining the cast on a more permanent bases we have Vincent Tong as Sandbar , Shannon Chan-Kent as Smolder , Maurice LaMarche as Chancellor Neighsay , Gavin Langelo as Gallus , Lauren Jackson as Silverstream and Katrina Salisbury as Yona.

I have to say I really liked the brain in these two episodes I won't spoil what kind of role he plays but I can see the fans getting quite upset with his character and I thought that the rest of the characters were really well performed  since most of these characters are new to the show I wasn't expecting the actors to really be good but for the first time out I was surprised.

Now i'm not sure if DHX Media do the animation or not since I found out about another company called Top Cow Animation but either way I thought the animation in these two episodes was pretty good altho since the last think I saw from MLP was the dreadful Forgotten Friendship special anything would be considered a step up everything looked like it could have been in the movie thats how good it was.

We have to talk about the elephant in the room the season 8 leaks let's not pretend that they didn't happen because they did and I like most of most likely didn't watch the leaked episodes now while i'm not opposed to watching one or two leaked episodes here tho six episodes were leaked and that's just not cool at all and sadly it's something that won't be going away anytime soon it's just something we will all have to deal with it's sad but true.

Overall the ponies are back in town (if you sang that part then well done you) this was a really fun episode sorry there's not really much I could talk about since alot of it could have been considered a spoiler School Daze gets a 7 out of 10 from this pony fan.

My Brief Thoughts On the Leak Of Some MLP Season 8

Now i before i start i want to make it clear that if you've already watched the leaked episodes that's fine heck even i was pondering with the idea of watching them and i still am but i want to say that whatever caused these episodes to end up online shouldn't have happened.

Incase you didn't know on Sunday a whole bunch of season 8 episodes found themselves online and what shocked me was that no one was talking about this and i was shocked even more when i logged on this morning and found another episode has found it self online and i have to ask why is this happening? I've not seen the episodes so i can't say if they aired the episodes somewhere else first but with them coming online this fast it makes it look like the episodes are being leaked and that's not good for the show as a whole.

I live in the UK so being able to watch the show the legal way for me is hard because i have no idea where and what time it airs in my country so i have to watch the episodes the illegal way just to catch up i'm not saying it's right but that's the sad truth but with all the episodes that got released even i was going "this is to much" so far 6 episodes have been leaked as of this writing.

It's at this point i'd like to bring up shows like Steven Universe and Adventure Time because like MLP season 8 they have episodes leaked all the time and it's usually around the same amount of episodes which is four or five episodes and it hurts the shows ratings which in turn increases it's chances of getting cancelled.

We all remember when the recent movie leaked early but for me that's a different issue because of the fact that the movie leaked days before it was due to come out so it wouldn't have effected it's box office performance that much to begin with but hear were talking of leaking episodes months in advance that will have an impact on the ratings overall and i;m sorry about going on and on about ratings but it's the truth.

So there you go guys that's how i feel about the leaks sorry if it's seems like a bit of a rant post but to me that's how you know that someone truly cares about something and again i won't hold it against you if you choose to watch the episodes early and again that's something i might even do.
