Rating My Favorite Netflix Animated Shows From Least Favorite To Most Favorite

There's no denying the fact that Netflix has changed how people view there favorite no longer do they want to wait a week for the next episode they now want the next episode right away and as well as giving us quality shows like Orange Is The New Black and GLOW they have also given us a handful of animated shows and i'm going to list my personal favorite shows from least favorite to the ones that I simply cannot live without.

Trollhunters

Oh boy I can literally feel all of your hate right now and given the fact that there's a chance a certain fan favorite show is also going to make an appearance on this list i'm going to make a guess and say that it's going to get worse but the reason why this show is so low down isn't because it's a bad show far from it but it just didn't grab me.

Voltron :Legendary Defender

OK put those pitchforks down I do have a reason for this both being on this list and higher up then Trollhunters it's higher then the previous show because it does have some interesting ideas and some nice animation however it's also this low down because like Trollhunters this series didn't grab me and the only season / series I watched all the way through was season 5 which was a bore fest in my eyes.

Harvey Street Kids

I very recently did a review of this show so if you want to know more about what I thought about this show then you can just find the review but to cut a long story short it's an average show but it's also a show that has fun with it's premise and it has some really fun characters and animation.

The Hollow

I admit when I first started writing this post I forgot about this show which is such a shame because it's so freaking good this show got my attention from the very first episode and it never let go you never really know what's going to happen next or where the story is going and all of that concludes in a great twist ending.

Trolls: The Beat Goes On!

I did contemplate putting the next show I want to talk about here but when push came to shove the other show was better but that just goes to show you how good this show is because the next show is really freaking good and for a show aimed at little kids this show is really entertaining I never once felt bored while watching a single episode of this show and the opening theme song is really good and catchy as hell.

Castlevania

What else was it going to be I talk about this show alot whenever I talk about Netflix's animated output but like I said it was a tough call to choose which show to put here but in the end this show has better writing , better animation and better voice acting and is an all round better show and yes I am excited for season 2 October 26th cannot come soon enough.

If I didn't mention your favorite show then it's either because A) I don't watch it and thus can't really say if it's a good show or not or B) I like these shows better people have different opinions so that could also be the case either way don't spread hate only love.

Harvey Street Kids Review

Animation fans everytime Netflix releases a new show we all know there's a 50% chance that it'll suck bad so when they announced that they were making a show based of Harvey Comics characters most of the world met this news with a huge "meh" well the show is out and i'm here to bring you a review of it so here is my review of Harvey Street Kids.

The basic set up of the show is Audrey, Lotta, and Dot three best friends who will do anything to make sure that Harvey Street is best block to never grow up on. As you can tell this show pretty much has no plot outside of the basic set up and i'm not quite sure if that works for this show or on the one hand not having a plot allows the characters to get into a lot of wacky situations but on the one hand not having a plot doesn't make the show standout.

Starring in the show are Lauren Lapkus as Lotta , Stephanie Lemelin as Audrey , Kelly McCreary as Dot , Atticus Shaffer as Melvin and Grey Griffin as Lucretia , Frufru and The Harvey Street Bow. I'll admit the acting in the show was a lot better then what I was expecting it to be I was expecting everyone just to give the bare minimum but no every one gives it 100% and for a Netflix animated show that's a rare thing to say.

As mentioned this series is based of Harvey Comics but it's more based of Little Audrey , Little Dot and Little Lotta and I have to say that I think it's great that companies like Dreamworks and Netflix are giving more attention to more little known comic books instead of just sticking with either Marvel or DC (yes I know DC don't have a Netflix show but the point is those are the two comic companies that get the most attention) and I hope that this continues because there are a lot of great comic book characters out there who can easily have their own show.

As with honestly alot of Netflix's animated content this show is animated by DreamWorks Animation Television and the animation is really freaking good like alot better then what I personally thought it would be it's not on the same level as say Ducktales 2017 but it's far better then any CN reboot ever made.

Now I know alot of people are going to see the first picture and mention this so called "cal arts art style" whatever that freaking means there's no such thing as "cal arts style"you know how I know that because all of the people who work for Disney and PIXAR went there and guess what they don't have characters who look the same it's not unnatural for people to be inspired by someone so it's there for possible that the people working on this show were inspired by someone who went there and that's it.

Each episode of this show is split up into two eleven minuet cartoons and in total this first season has thirteen episodes which means there are a total of twenty six segments that's a lot of content to Get through heck for the sake of this review I only watched around four episodes and i'll admit that did become a struggle kind of near the end not because it's a bad show but because I could think of what the story was.

The jokes in this show for me are very hit and miss there's a lot of jokes that just flat out didn't work and alot of those jokes involve the kids using either tablets or social media to me those kind of jokes just aren't funny but tho the good jokes far outweigh the bad ones as I did find myself laughing alot more then I expected to.

Overall the best word I can use to describe this show is cute and if that's something you like then this is the show for you but on the other hand if you want a show that has a plot then stay away from this show for me this show I just about average so it gets a 6 out of 10.
