Power Rangers The Legendary Battle: Extended Edition Film Review

We all have that one season of Power Rangers that we actively dislike for one reason or another and for alot of Power Rangers fans that season is Megaforce / Super Megaforce. Yet it was that season that promised us the biggest battle yet with every single past ranger team coming in to help out and well when that episode did finally air to say that it was a let down would be a huge understatement with the original episode being such a let down that not long after it an extended version of the same episode aired and was miles better with it being that very extended episode that i'm going to be reviewing for you all and so then join me as I review the film that sees the Megaforce rangers team up with every single past ranger team with the film in question being called simply just "The Legendary Battle: Extended Edition" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when the armada launches a full scale attack on earth the rangers minus a newly left Orion have to try and defend the earth in there greatest battle ever. Now then interms of that I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with this film quite literally just being just three episodes edited together it does have a fairly well done plot as a result of that as you do get a sense that the rangers are facing a threat that couldn't be done in just one single episode where the films plot does fail tho is the fact that it does feel like it was just two episodes of the show edited together and really nothing all the more then that as the plot does follow the typical Power Rangers formular with the team encountering a monster which they fight , the monster then tries again to kill them only now it's on a different terrain and the rangers win wash and repeat and that is something that is all over this film which fair enough it was a set of episodes first and a film second so they do of o course have to stick to that but for the film version tho it felt like they could have done something different to that formular to make the plot of this film work just as well and to give this film some credit it does have a really strong plot and isn't one that could have been told or in this case told all that well in a standard episode of the show with the films plot being the kind of plot that you would expect to see in a finale episode to Power Rangers with the only difference being that hey have this huge battle sequence to fit into it with the plot of this episode not really being really rather entertaining and nor is it really rather engaging either in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Andrew Gray as Troy Burrows , John Mark Loudermilk as Noah Carver and Azim Rizk as Jake Holling. Also starring in this film is Christina Masterson as Emma Goodall , Ciara Hanna as Gia Moran , Cameron Jebo as Orion , Jason David Frank as Tommy Oliver , Selwyn Ward as T.J. Johnson , Patricia Ja Lee as Cassie Chan , Danny Slavin as Leo Corbett , Reggie Rolle as Damon Henderson , Melody Perkins as Karone , Sean Cw Johnson as Carter Grayson , Alison MacInnis as Dana Mitchell , Jason Faunt as Wesley "Wes" Collins , Hector David, Jr. as Mike , Brittany Pirtle as Emily , Chris Auer as the voice Robo Knight , Shailesh Prajapati as Ernie , Ian Harcourt as Mr. Burley , Geoff Dolan as the voice of Gosei , Estevez Gillespie as the voice Tensou , Mike Drew as the voice of Emperor Mavro , Rebecca Parr as the voice of Levira and Adrian Smith as the voice of Redker.

Now then interms of that I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With this films acting being about as bad as you'd expect from Power Rangers as this is a franchise that really isn't known for having good acting in it and yet even so the acting both in this season and in this film was still pretty bad however tho this is of no fault of any of the of the main actors as they had to fight tooth and nail just get any kind of development for there characters just something anything for them to work with as actors and they were told no time and time again which is something that does result in the acting being at best wooden and at worst robotic and while Andrew Gray does get alot of hate for not being able to show emotion in this season there was an episode where he did show emotion and was actually good but for one reason or another the makers of this season pretty much had him act like a robot for alot of the season with this being more then true in this film as he just sounds like he's done playing with the character and would rather be anywhere else with him being told to act stoic which is something that doesn't work as people want to see actors show emotion where situations where they would be emotional with none of this films actors getting across any kind of emotion in this film with there not really being a particularly good actor in this film as the makers of this show really did do all of their actors dirty and it's something that really does show in this film with the acting that's in this film not really being helped by the fact that the script for this film is just so bad as it gives none of this films actors absolutely nothing to work with interms of what it is that there actual characters personalities are even meant to be in the first place which is something that really does harm the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

Much like with the films acting it would be pointless to blame the actors for how badly that there characters turned out as yeah all of the main six rangers characters are just bland and forgettable characters at best. With this being due to the fact that the shows writers just didn't care to give us well thought out characters and because of the fact that all of the films characters are just so bland and forgettable at best it does effect how we the audience feel about them in this film as this is the film where we are meant to be rooting for al of the characters nonstop and be fully behind them and want to seem them succeed however as the rest of the show really didn't give us a reason to care for any of the main six rangers we are left feeling nothing heck there's a little girl in this film who you end up caring about more then the main six heroes and she only has a few minuets of screen time and yet the main characters are left to blank slates for the audience to see themselves in and while yes it could be argued that the original five Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were blank slates to for alot of their time on the show the makers of that show still at least knew to give them interests and hobbies that help to define who they are as characters whereas the makers of this show just weren't bothered to do any of that as we don't see how Emma's love of nature effects her as a character in this film nor do we see Jake's love of football effect the episode in a major way and it's the same thing for alot of the films characters and while that would make sense for the films side characters for the main characters you do need to give them something to make them standout with the main six actors being right to fight the makers of this show as the makers of this show did all six of these characters so badly.

The big thing about this film seeing all of the past Rangers come back to help out the current team of rangers. With there appearance in this film being more then worth while as we get to see alot of them in action before the big fight just going around helping injured people which is great as that is something that a Power Ranger would do and it's something that even the Super Megaforce rangers did at the start of the Super Megaforce where they went around the city and actively tried to help people out whilst fighting of another alien invasion attempt and it's something that really hasn't been done both before or since this season of the show even Power Rangers In Space which had it's final two episodes set on earth didn't do it and it doesn't make sense as the rangers are meant to be superheroes if you will and therefor we do want to see them trying to help people out even during times where the rangers would be fighting of monsters and it's one of the things that this film did go out of there way to show us and it's something that does work as its something that reminds us that even without there power these rangers are still pretty powerful people and while yes they do of course have there powers but when there helping people there not morphed there just there normal every day selves with that being something that does help to sell the fact that the people of this city can and do try to help each other out heck even some of them try to help out the past rangers as well which was a nice little surprise however what let those scenes down was the fact that the makers of this film added in effects where we see what team and color that that ranger is from which for the little kids watching is fair enough but this film would have also have had a huge amount of adults watching who would have known all that stuff in the first place which is something that does make those effects seem pointless.

To give this film some credit does feel like a finale and is epic enough to warrant this extended cut in the first place. Yet to call this a film in the more traditional sense of the word would be misleading as it's really not a film at all as it's just two episodes of the show edited together with some new footage here and there and that's really it like for example instead of dying in the explosion Emperor Mavro actually survives his ship blowing up and goes on to face the rangers in one final battle on land which is something that should have been in the original cut of the episode as we want to see the rangers take on their foe one on one with this film even giving us more scenes with the classic rangers which was nice to see as it helps to remind us just why we liked those characters in the first place with alot more of the changes being made to this episode being the reorder of certain scenes which is something that you really wouldn't notice unless your watching this episode side by side with the original cut of the episode in the first place and yet for some odd reason Nickelodeon promoted this as a movie when it's really not a movie at all at best you could get away with calling this a TV special but that's really it and even then it's a stretch to call it that but to be fair this film is something that would have actually worked as a made for TV film as all the makers of this film would have to have done is just include a few more scenes to get it up to feature length and that's it as the plot is more then worthy of being the plot of a made for TV movie and it would have given the fans the satisfaction of seeing alot of there favorite rangers from the past in action for longer then a few seconds like it was in the original cut of the episode.

It really is hard to judge Emperor Mavro just off of this one film as even tho he did appear in the final three episodes of the show and acts as the rangers final big foe. He doesn't really get a chance to get across just how menacing that he is in this film which in this case is fair enough as he had all of the other three episodes to do exactly that and based on what he did in those episodes which does include the original cut of this film he does come across as being a more stronger with him being then capable of taking on the rangers all by himself something which we do see him put to good use as he takes on both Troy and Orion single handedly whilst he's still sitting down in his chair which was a really cool scene as we've never seen a villain act like that before now and it is something that does make him out to be a tougher foe for the rangers with the thing that makes him out to be a bigger threat to them being the fact that he took out all of there zords with ease which does in turn cause the rangers to be knocked out and separated from each other and while his end goal is the same end goal as alot of the villains of this show that being to take over the world here we actually see him not only come close to doing exactly that due to the fact that he does almost beat the rangers at quite a few points in this film but we also see that he has the menace to actually pull something like this off as we find out in this film that he has taken over several worlds something which yes isn't new for this show to do with the thing that makes it new being the fact that the two main foes for the rangers before him where his sons which is something that makes this particular invasion all the more personal to him as the rangers have defeated both of his sons as well and now they have to go up against him.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly fifty four minuets and thirty seconds. Which is a solid running time for this film to have as the film doesn't need to be that long in the first place due to the fact that it's just two episodes of the show put together and that's really it with the film having the right amount of plot there really cover that amount of running time in the first place and yet even so the film really doesn't use it's running time all that wisely as the film doesn't take the time to fully develop it's plot which is fair enough as you could argue that all of the other episodes of the show did that and therefor this film really doesn't need to except the rest of the shows episodes don't really develop the plot all that well either which for them is fair enough as they were only twenty two minuets each and yet this time around they still don't do it even tho they have alot of extra scenes in the film that could have been used to flesh out the plot and yet they don't rather alot of them are just there for the sake of being there with the film not even taking the time to fully develop any one of it's characters with this being more due to the fact that the makers of the show just weren't that bothered to give us fully thought out characters something which would thankfully change by the time Dino Charge came about and yet its something that should have been in this film as this film was the big anniversary episode and yet all of the films characters come across as being boring characters with us the audience knowing as much about the films characters coming out of the film then we did coming into the film this is despite the fact that the film has alot more scenes that could have been used to give the characters some character development in the first place but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is an action film that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual action that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty really good. With this episodes action being the best part of the film as that's when the film gets to be more fun with it being made clear as day that the makers of this film put alot more thought and effort into this films action then they did anything as it's during the action that you get to see just how fun that this film could have been and yet due to the fact that everything else is just OK at best with the best action scene in the whole entire film being of course the titular legendary battle itself as we get to see several former rangers and every single ranger team up until this point taking on several aliens at the same time and while yes it is a battle that should have been handled alot more better then what it already was the fact remains that seeing all of these rangers together and fighting together is something that will always be cool no matter with the film having alot of really good action scenes in it be it from the final fight with Mavro to four of the then five rangers taking on one of his generals the bottom line is this film is filed to the brim with a bunch of really good action scenes with the film being more then worth watching just for it's action alone as that's how good that this films action really is in the first place as there is alot more thought and effort into giving us some really cool looking action scenes all of which work really well as they are just alot of fun to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall between this and Dimensions In Danger this one is the better crossover of the two as this one does focus more on the main team and advances there story by having it be tied to the main plot of the season but it is still something that could have been alot more better then what it already was in the first place in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad thigs that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 5.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Amazon . Co . Uk and Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very episode that I used in this very review being the really great Google Images really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very episode with alot of them being really better quality then what you'd really think of and all of the images are really of course up and really on Google Images are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

High School Musical Film Review

There are few things that are well and truly iconic as alot of them are forgotten about not that long after there released. Yet with the film that i'm going to be talking to you all about today that just simply wasn't true as this film spawned an entire franchise that is still going strong to this very day as it spawned sequels , several TV shows , a spin-off film and a live concert yet it's the it's the first film that alot of people seem to remember the most and so the join me as I review the film that is now officially over TWENTY years old with the film in question being called simply just "High School Musical" enjoy.

The plot of this film is when a high school basketball star and the schools nerdy girl audition for a school musical they find themselves growing closer. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad with the plot of this film basically being a more modern retelling of Romeo & Juliet only without the tragic ending which to be fair is something that does work well for this film as it does allow for them to tell a really well done love story in a plot that kids twenty years ago would be able to understand with this films plot quite clearly speaking to alot of people as people to this very day still do talk about this film and it's plot and while yes the plot of this film could have been done alot more better as the film doesn't really focus on it's plot alot of the time with the film picking up and dropping it's plot several times in the film not so much that it hurts the film as the films plot is pretty weak at best but it's done enough times that we the audience so start to notice it when it happens with the film being more bothered about giving us alot of songs then it is in giving us a well thought out plot as this is a plot that would have worked all the more if the makers of this film did put just as much effort into giving us a well thought out plot then they do into giving us alot of song with the plot of this film also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this film is Zac Efron as Troy Bolton , Vanessa Hudgens as Gabriella Montez and Ashley Tisdale as Sharpay Evans. Also starring in this film is Lucas Grabeel as Ryan Evans , Alyson Reed as Ms. Darbus , Corbin Bleu as Chad Danforth , Monique Coleman as Taylor McKessie , Olesya Rulin as Kelsi Nielsen , Chris Warren Jr. as Zeke Baylor , Ryne Sanborn as Jason Cross and Bart Johnson as Jack Bolton.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With all of this films actors turning in some really solid performances in this film something which was completely shocking as you don't really expect good acting not only from made for TV movie but also from a Disney Channel Original Movie and yet that's exactly what we get in this film and while yes this films acting could have been alot more better then what it was given he fact that alot of this films actors were a bunch of unknowns at the time this films acting really did turn out to be alot more better then what it really had any right to be with this being due to the fact that this film had an experienced director in Kenny Ortega with him knowing how to get a good performance out of all of his young performers a sill which is put to great use in this film with the best actor in the film is really kind of hard to say as by all rights any of this films young actors could make that claim and it could be totally justified as there all just so good in this film but if push came to shove then the best actor in this film would have be Zac Efron just because of the fact he was really good in this film with him seeming like the only character who is at least trying to put in a performance that helps to elevate the film on the whole with the acting that's in this film really being helped by the fact that the script for this film is just so good that all this films actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very film.

It would be hard to say that this films characters are any good as truth be told there not which is something that you do expect in a Disney Channel Original Movie. As when you think of Disney Channel Original Movies you don't usually think of good characters rather you think of the most basic and bland characters that you can think of as these films were more often then not written and filmed very quickly with the same thig being true for this film and it's characters as this film has nothing in it that makes the characters standout and feel fresh and new as there all just the basic character that you've seen done better in other movies with Troy being the typical sports jock who has a passion for singing , Gabriella is the typical nerdy kid who has stage fright yet also has a passion for singing and Sharpay is the schools mean girl character who is only looking out for herself and that's it and while these character tropes do work in this film it also makes this film feel alot more empty as you see all of the potential that the characters had if they had better writing and yet for one reason or another the franchises creator Peter Barsocchini gives us bland characters with it being made clear that the intention with these characters wasn't to give us fully thought out characters who have likes and dislikes that are unique to them rather it was to give us characters the films target audience could see themselves in which is fine as this films target audience was little kids but there still needs to be some meat to these characters to help make them more memorable then what they actually are in the first place and not be the bland characters that we ended up getting.

As was mentioned near the start of this review this film is basically a more modern Disneyfied version of Romeo & Juliet. With this films romance being handled as well as it could have done given then fact that this is a made for TV Disney Channel Original Movie which does mean that things regarding the romance do have to get rushed like the fact that the couple meet up again in the very next scene after first meeting each other with them falling in love with each other pretty much right away and while it is understandable why things were done like that as this film doesn't have that long of a running time and the film does have to fit in quite alot of songs as well it would would have helped the film out quite alot if we got to see Troy and Gabriella go out with each other and form that romantic chemistry in a way that feels more natural instead of having it all done over the course of the films opening song as while there is such a thing as love at first sight when you building your whole film around this romance you do expect them to spend more time on developing that romance rather then have be in the back ground for a large portion of the films running time so much so that you do forget that they are meant to be madly in love with each other with this being something that does make the whole Romeo & Juliet aspect of the film feel more watered down as while both Troy and Gabriella will of course not kill each other you do still need to believe in there romance with the only aspect of the Romeo & Juliet part of the film that does work is the jocks vs nerds idea that the film runs with for a little while as that is something that does help to make that Romeo & Juliet aspect feel more modern with it's only down side being he fact that the film drops the jocks vs nerds angel not long it starts it.

This film does deserve alot of credit as it did something that no Disney Channel Original Movie both before and since was able to do. That being to have a sequel that got a theatrical release as while the second movie did air on the Disney Channel as a Disney Channel Original Movie it's third movie was given a big theatrical release with this being because of the fact that both this movie and it's first sequel High School Musical 2 got huge ratings for Disney Channel with High School Musical 2's rating still being the channels highest earning rating for a movie with over seventeen million viewers watching that film when it first premiered back in 2007 that is something that does show you that this franchise is one that was here to stay and heck to this day we still here news and rumors about a potential fourth movie and given that Camp Rock 3 is releasing this year who know maybe it might actually happen this time around and yet the one thing that this film did was spawn a clone movie that being oddly enough Camp Rock which followed a very similar set up to this movie and it did just as well as what this film did as well with the only thing that makes the two stand out being the fact that this film was made with love and passion where as with Camp Rock it was quite clearly being made to chase after this films audience which isn't a bad thing as a film that was as popular as this film was was always going to spawn clones be it from other studios or from other direct to DVD movies but nobody was expecting a clone movie to happen from the same studio as that's something that makes no sense as they made this film so why would they want to make a clone of it in the first place.

It really hard to say just who it is that wrote this films songs as there are no songwriters listed anywhere online. However the films songs are just as catchy as you remember them being which is something that does make alot of sense as Disney even back in 2006 was known for making some really good musicals with it being made clear as day that the makers of this film put alot more effort into giving us some really good songs then they did quite literally anything else as it's in  the films songs where the film does start to come alive and be all the more entertaining because of it with the thing that helps to make the films songs be as good as they are being the fact the musical segments are handled alot more better then the rest of the film with this being because of the fact that this films director Kenny Ortega was also one of the films choreographers something which does help to make the films musical segments be all the more fun to watch with the film having some really decent songs it like for example "Get'cha Head In The Game" is a fun rap like song where Troy has to deal with his new found feelings of wanting to sing more with Gabriella whilst also hiding this passion from his friends and "Stick To The Status Quo" with that song being about wanting to keep things the exact same way as they are with the best song n the film being either "Breaking Free" or "We're All In This Together" as both songs are a pair of really good songs that are really well sung as while Zac Efron doesn't sing all that much in this film with most of his singing being done by Drew Seeley Zac's small amount of singing is decent and it does make the film all the more funnier as it's really obvious when it's Zac singing and when it's Drew singing.

Now then this film has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly one hour and thirty seven minuets and forty seven seconds. Which to be fair to this film is pretty much the bogstandard running time for alot of Disney Channel Original Movies with this film having the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time in the first place yet with that in mind this film doesn't use it's running time all that wisely as the film doesn't take the time to fully develop it's plot with the film being more focused on giving us a song number every few minuets then it is in giving us a well thought out plot which is something that does make this film feel alot more like an advertisement for the films soundtrack then it does feel like a film in it's own and yet if the film did cut down on the amount of songs that it does have then it would allow for the film to add in scenes that would develop either it's main romance or it's plot both of which are more important to the film then having alot of songs are with this even effecting the films character development as while alot of Disney Channel Original Movies don't give there characters any kind of character development as these films are meant to have characters that the audience can see themselves in and that does mean that the films characters don't get any kind of character development yet the film would be so much more better if the film did devote some of it's running time to giving it's characters some kind of character development as that is something that would have made the film be all the more better then what it is in the first place but I really will admit that this film really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very film was in all honesty not that bad. With alot of this films jokes being really cute jokes that are still funny but they could have been more funnier then what they were with the makers of this film really knowing when to tell a joke and when to let the film be dramatic which is something that does make the film be alot more better then what you'd think it would be but as a comedy this film could have been alot more better as while yes the film does have some really funny jokes in it the film doesn't tell enough funny jokes in it to make it worth being called a comedy with the thing that makes the films comedy work being the films characters as they can be goofy enough that the jokes work with the best joke in the whole being when the team is cheering on the drama club with each member of the basketball team spelling out a letter with Troy being left to say explanation point which is a dumb joke true but it's also one that works in the scene with the only thing that lets alot of the jokes down being the fact that the make Ryan out to be the dumb one in the film which doesn't work and isn't as funny as it could have been but when the film does tell a good joke with him like him struggling to work out just what it is is the basketball is trying to say being something that is a pretty funny joke with the rest of the films jokes being just as cute as you'd want them to be in a film like this one in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall unless your like me and you saw this film when it first came out then it might be hard to work out just how massive that this film was and revisiting it now yes you do notice all of the flaws in the film yet you still end up enjoying the film as it is a film that is really campy and fun to watch in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad thigs that are in this very film in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very film really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from IMP wards . Com and Google Images.

The Muppet Show 2026 Special SPOILER FILLED Review

When people of a certain age think of The Muppets they nine times out of ten think about The Muppet Show. Which does make sense as that show is there most popular show and was what helped to make them a big name in the first place well now Disney have done the unthinkable and released a revival special for the show and well you all just knew that I had to check out the special the very first chance that I got and so then join me as I give you my SPOILER FILLED review of the special that dares to light the lights one more time with the special in question being called simply just "The Muppet Show" enjoy.

The plot of this special is Miss Piggy finds out that she's being cut from the show due to Kermit accidentally booking to many performers and so will do anything to get on the show. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very special well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very special was in all honesty really good with the specials plot doing a very good job of capturing the pure insanity that is The Muppets whilst also making it feel like the next episode of the show with the only real issue when it comes to the plot being the fact that the episode doesn't really have alot of scenes in it that focus on the plot which is something that does make sense as the original show was also kind of like that as well but here in this special they do actively have Miss Piggy invading one of the episodes performances which is something that does make you wonder why the episode didn't devote more time to this plot as this is something that could have led to some really funny scenes in and yet the makers of this special just felt lime that they were playing it kind of safe with the episodes plot this isn't to say that the plot was bad as it's really not as the plot does allow for all of the typical Muppet mayhem to come into play but it is something that would have been all the more funnier if they devoted more backstage scenes to it as well with the plot of this special being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this special is Bill Barretta as Rowlf The Dog , Dr. Teeth , Swedish Chef and Pepe The King Prawn , Dave Goelz as Gonzo , Zoot , Waldorf , Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beauregard and one of this special executive producers Eric Jacobson as Miss Piggy , Fozzie Bear , Animal , Sam Eagle and The Newsman. Also starring in this special is Peter Linz as Lips , Statler , Link Hogthrob , Robin The Frog and A Brown Creature, David Rudman as Scooter , Janice , Beaker and  Miss Poogy , one of this special executive producers Matt Vogel as Kermit The Frog and Sgt. Floyd Pepper , Stephanie D'Abruzzo as Hilda , Bradley Freeman Jr. as Rizzo The Rat , one of this specials executive producers Seth Rogan as Himself , Maya Rudolph as Herself and one of this specials executive producers Sabrina Carpenter as Herself.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very special well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very special was in all honesty really good. With all of the specials actors turning in some really good performances in this special even Matt Vogel who was getting an awful lot of hate online when the trailer dropped for this special does make for a really good Kermit and while yes his Kermit voice isn't perfect he is the new official actor for Kermit and has been doing the role for some years now with him getting better and better each performance with this special being of no exception to that rule with all of the actors that are playing The Muppets doing a really job of playing there truly iconic characters some of whom were even on the original show like for example Dave Goelz who has played Gonzo from the very beginning and is still knocking it out of the park as the character with the specials best actor being Bill Barretta as even tho he doesn't get a whole lot to do in this special he does still turn in a good performance with it being quite obvious that he and the rest of the Muppet actors are having the time of their lives being able to raise the curtain on The Muppet Show tonight one more time with the acting that's n this very special really being helped by the fat that the script for this special is just so good that all this specials actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and a good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very special.

The Muppet character are just so iconic in there own right that it really is hard to get them wrong and thankfully this special doesn't get them all wrong as all of the Muppet characters feel like there old selfs. With Miss Piggy being a really over the top diva and Kermit being about one piece of bad news away from having a complete and total melt down this is how these characters were in the original show and it's why the characters became so popular to begin with as they were fun but flawed characters and while it's only really Miss Piggy and Kermit that get the most screen time devoted to them as this episode does feel like an actual episode of the original show alot of the other Muppet characters do also appear in the special as well just in limited roles as we don't get hear Fozzie tell any bad jokes and nor do we get to see Swedish Chef fail to make something that's edible and that's OK as this special was meant to be all about reminding us why we liked these characters in the first and part of that does entail being like an episode of the show and while yes it would have been more fun to see Sabrina Carpenter interacting with more of the Muppet cast outside of Scooter , Kermit and Miss Piggy there would have been no way to do that without repeating yourself alot of the time but at the same time the people that are most likely to watch this special are the fans of The Muppets and sadly we don't get enough of the main Muppet cast in this episode with alot of them being reduced to backstage segments with a few of them coming on stage for the big finale number with them not really getting a chance to show us just what it was that made them so likable in the first place.

SPOILERS START HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Believe it or not this is actually the first time that The Muppets have actually down a verity show since 1996's Muppets Tonight. With all of the other shows that they've done since then being either a straight sitcom like 2015's The Muppets a solo show like Muppets Mayhem or an oddly forgotten crossover with various Disney Channel stars in Studio DC: Almost Live and it's kind of odd that that would be the case as the verity show setting is where these characters work best as all of The Muppets characters are meant to be agents of chaos something which we do see in this special as when Rizzo perhaps his musical number we keep on cutting backstage to see Beauregard messing things up or when Sabrina Carpenter is doing her opening number "Manchild" we cut to Crazy Harry going overboard with the wind machine thus causing all of the chickens in the scene to loose all of their feathers which is something that you could see that character doing and yet it is something that does work really well in this special as it's something that does show case just how chaotic that putting on one episode of The Muppet Show could be and that is something that does get lost when you take The Muppets out of the verity show format as while Muppets Mayhem was a really good show that should have gotten a second season it also didn't put the characters into a setting where they were allowed just be chaotic the 2015 Muppets whilst it did give us an update to the verity show format was more focused on all the stuff happening backstage when showing things going wrong on the main show would have been way more finnier to see.

If there's one thing that The Muppets are k own for it's there heart this is something that you see even in The Muppet Movie. With it being something that does come back in this special as right at the end of special when Kermit has to choose just one of his friends to go out and be the big final act he can't do it and so he gets up on stage and starts singing the song "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen as a way to get all of his friends on stage with them all joining him for one big rocking musical number with Dr. Teeth And The Electric Mayhem of course providing the backing for the song which to be fair is a good number to go out on but it's also something that makes you wonder how they managed to get Disney to agree to putting that song in this special as when you look up what the song is about you start to realise that it might be a bit to adult even for The Muppets and yet it's also a rather fitting way to end this special as it does come across as The Muppets being rebellious and outright telling people that no matter what your going to do to them you'll never be able to stop them as they'll always come back in some way shape or form and given that one of there more famous songs is a cover of the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" also by Queen and has alot of adult themes in that song as well it does make sense that they would end this special with another Queen song while it is of course impossible to say if Jim Henson would have ended on that song for this special it does seem right as The Muppets are characters that will never go away as they'll always be someone somewhere willing to talk about them and the fact that they managed to bring back alot of characters including ones that haven't been seen for decades and one who hasn't spoken a single line of dialog since the first season of the original show does show you that the makers of this special really are Muppet fans.

There was one joke that was bit to adult for me even for The Muppets which is after the end credits for the special have finished playing but before the company logos play they straight up hint at Statler having a heart attack. Which was a bit off putting to see as while The Muppets have never really shied away from doing adult themed jokes in the past they always left it up for interpretation which was something that always made it feel like that the kids would get the joke on one level and then the adults would get the same joke on another level whereas here it felt like they were straying a bit to far into the adult world which was something that Jim Henson would never do and heck it's even something that the Disney Muppets would never do as well which makes that joke about and old man dying feel even more out of place with that one bit of the special being the only time where I questioned what was actually going on in he special this would have been something that wouldn't be an issue if they revealed that his arm was numb and he was having these chest pains because of the fact that he did genuinely like the special and play it off more as being a heart warming moment but they don't do that and given the fact that they straight up killed of and then brought back to life Maya Rudolph in the special as well it is something that makes you wonder if they were planning on killing of Statler in this special as that is something that wouldn't go down well at all with the fanbase and is something that i'm glad that they didn't do if that was the original plan as it would have caused this special to end on a rather sour note as only hinting at him having a heart attack yes is still a weird way to end things it also allows the character to show up in other Muppet projects as they can just say that he better.

Now then this special has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly thirty minuets and ten seconds. Which to be fair is slightly longer then what the average running time of the original show was which is something that does make this special feel more special as it gives us time to really soak in the fact that we are seeing these characters back home where they belong and while the episode really doesn't have alot of plot there to really cover tat amount of running time in the first place this is something that is not a huge issue as the show is all about giving us unique acts and isn't focused on giving us alot plot with the episode really using it's running time really wisely as while the special really doesn't have alot of plot there to begin with it's plot is as simple enough as you'd want it to be with alot of the fun and the joy coming from this special coming from the fact that we are seeing The Muppets back home on stage at The Muppet Theater once again and to be fair that is something that doesn't really require alot of plot or alot of plot development either with the same thing even being true for the specials character development as we already know how Kermit and co are meant to be and therefor the only character that needed character development was Sabrina Carpenter herself and that's it and to be she does come across as well developed character with her being a die hard Miss Piggy fan and that's it and to be fair that's all she needed as none of the shows other guest stars would get character development as they all just play themselves and that's it but I really will admit that this special really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy thats actually featured / presented to us in this very special well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very special was in all honesty really good. With the special having alot of really good jokes in it all of which feel true to who The Muppets are as characters be it from Kermit booking one to many acts to Miss Piggy getting an even bigger ego when Sabrina says how much she meant to her and even modelled her look after her which Miss Piggy says that both she and her lawyers have noticed and will be in touch with Sabrina saying her lawyers would be honored to talk to her lawyers which is a really good joke as it is something that Miss Piggy would do with the best joke in the whole entire episode funnily enough also being a Miss Piggy joke as when she finds out that she's not doing another number on the show she straight kicks down Sabrina's dressing room door as Kermit is right on the other side of the door with her not even seeing him there in the first place with the two of them then having a chat about how Miss Piggy inspired her in the first place with Sabrina forgetting all about Kermit and only getting him out of the door when Miss Piggy has left which is a really good joke made even more funnier when you take into account that the joke plays to Sabrina's strengths as a comic actor with her and Miss Piggy having some really great comedic chemistry together somethin which we do see come to play in alot of there scenes together as that's were we get to see some really good and funny jokes with the special having alot of painfully jokes in it all of which feel true to who these characters are as characters in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

SPOILERS END HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall go right now and watch this special on Disney+ and then tell your friends to go and watch and get them to tell there friends to go and watch it as Disney needs to see that people do still care about The Muppets and with the special being this good it does deserve to be seen by as many people as is humanly possible in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad things that are in this vey special in this very review and as such that really does mean that this veery special really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly an 8.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Amazon . Co . Uk , IMP  Awards . Com an Google Images. With my personally preferred website to use to get the images from this very special that I used in this very review being the really great Google Images really simply just due to the fact that really alot of if not really all of the images that are all really from this very special with alot of them being really better quality then what you'd really think of and all of the images are really of course up and really on Google Images are also really all fairly high in quality and as well as them all being really fairly freaking high in definition.

Thomas And Friends TV Series "The Truth About Toby" Review

When alot of people think of Thomas The Tank Engine nine times out of ten they think about the classic model seasons of the show. Yet not alot of them know that the show did carry on really all the way until just a few short years ago in CGI with it really being one of the CGI episodes that i'm going to be talking to you all about today and so then join me as I review the episode that sees Toby run into some trouble at the scrap yard with the episode in question being called simply just "The Truth About Toby" enjoy.

The plot of this episode is when Toby runs out of coal at the scrap yard he has to try and convince passing engines o help him out. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt about the actual plot that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good with thus episodes being as delightfully dumb and yet simple as you'd want it to be from this era of the show which was something that does work really well for this episode as this is an episode that doesn't really require a deep plot to make it work as something having a plot thats more simple and easy to follow along with is something that does make it work all the more better with this episodes plot really does a good job of just letting the characters be themselves something upon which the later CGI seasons did take great strides in doing and it is something that does work really well in this episode as the plot of this episode as simple as it is works just as well because of how simple that it is with this plot not really being a plot that would work if it was a super serious as that would make the plot be alot less fun an lot less entertaining then what it really should have been as sometimes being a fun plot is alot more important then being super serious as that would feel out of place with this episodes set up and while the show has done super serious and dark episodes in the past they've always had the set up that allowed for that to happen with the plot of this episode also being really rather entertaining and as well as being really rather engaging as well in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Starring in this episode is John Hasler as Thomas and Keith Wickham as Edward , Henry , Gordon , James , Salty , Stafford and The Fat Controller. Also starring in this episode is Nigel Pilkington as Percy , Rob Rackstraw as Toby and Stanley , Teresa Gallagher as Emily , Annie and Clarabel , Rebecca O'Mara as Caitlin , Steven Kynman as Paxton , Maggie Ollerenshaw as Henrietta , Tim Whitnall as Reg and Mark Moraghan as The Narrator.

Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt about the actual acting that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good. With all of this episodes actors turning in some really good performances which is something that does make alot of sense as alot of them have been playing these characters for decades at this point and therefor do have a good understanding of just who there version of these characters are in the first place with alot of them like for example Maggie Ollerenshaw having the perfect voice for there character with the best actor in the whole entire episode being Rob Rackstraw as not only does he have a fairly solid voice for Toby but he also gets to show of new sides to this character as all to often we see the brave ad sarcastic side of his character and yet we never really get to the more frustrated side of the character and that is something that Rob gets the chance to show us in this episode and it is something that does come through in his performance as you do sense that Toby is becoming frustrated with Reg with the fact that he does try and hold that back as Reg is  just doing is job is something that make Toby all the more frustrated with him with the acting that's in this very episode really being helped by the fact that the script for this episode was just so good that all this episodes actors have to do is just say the lines as they are written and as good performance will come out of them naturally which is something that really does help to raise the overall quality of the acting that's in this very episode.

For once I really cannot say just who it is that does the animation for this episode as there's no animation company listed anywhere online. Now then interms of what I personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt about the actual animation that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty really good as while CGI Thomas was in it's very early ears like season 12 early did have some very choppy looking animation to it by the time they got round to this season and Season 20 the show had started to have some actually good looking animation in it with this episode being a good example of that as you get to see the human characters doing things at the docks and you get to all of the characters look really good with the same thing even being true for the backgrounds as well as while this episode doesn't really allow for alot of interesting looking backgrounds due to the fact that it's mainly set at the scrap yard with there being very few locations but the episode does make up for this for giving some really unique looking camera shots like we get to see the camara placed sort of behind and at the side of Edward for a shot which looked really cool and is something that for obvious reasons the model seasons of Thomas just couldn't do and yet here in this episode we do get to see some really good looking shots all of which work well with the episodes already high bar of animation with the only thing that could have made this episodes animation even more better being if we got to see more stuff going on in the backgrounds which yes is a small thing but it's also something that makes the world that this show takes place in feel all the more real and lived in as well.

The big thing in this episode is that when Thomas , Annie , Clarabel , Henry and Edward all see Toby at the scrap yard they assume it's because of the fact that he's going to be scrapped. This is something that they are kind of right to assume as from there point of view that's exactly what it would look like however they then go spreading around the rumor that Toby is going to be scrapped when if just one of them had stopped to talk to either Toby or Reg The Crane to find out what was actually going on then that whole thing is something that could have very easily have been avoided and while it is understandable as to why that wasn't done in the episode as this is a kids show after all and nine times out of ten kids aren't care about logic there just going to care about the characters and that's really it and that's all well and good but at the same time tho this show did used to treat its kid audience with respect and not talk down to them but rather talk to them on a level and while this episode is great improved in that regard when compared to the earlier CGI episodes it still does make you wonder why the makers of this episode didn't bother to fix the issue of not having one of the characters just talk to Toby to find out what's going on as all of the characters do drive past in the episode and yet not one of them bothers to stop and find out what's going with this being something that very easily could have been explained just by having the characters either pulling passengers or being given a very important job to do by The Controller and that was just thought up in less then minuet and yet the makers of this show had go knows how long to come up with something that would make sense for the episode and yet they came up with nothing.

To be frank Reg was bit annoying in this episode as it felt like he was doing everything that he could do to stop Toby from getting help. As while yes he was just doing his job and really nothing more then that he was also not doing all that much to actually help Toby out as he was being very noisy when he was picking things up with his crane and had a bunch of scrap covering where Toby was so passing engines couldn't see him if they wanted to and while having an annoying character is something that can work if it's apart of the story just look at Phillip in the episode "A Shed For Edward" as a prime example of that but the characters did always know when to stop being annoying and start being helpful just look at Toby in the two episodes he did with Mavis back in season 3 where he actually gave her good advice on how to travel past a certain in the line where as here Reg just felt like he was being annoying just so the plot can happen which isn't fun to see as there was no way in heck that he couldn't have yelled out to quite literally any of the engines that pass him and Toby and as for there help as he could see the engines coming and the engine could quite literally hear and see him with even Edward yelling hello to him and yet he does nothing to help out his friend with it feeling like that this episodes Davey Moore was just stuck and couldn't come up with a good way to include this character and have them be apart of the story and so then he just had Reg essentially not do anything except for get on Toby's last nerve and that's really it which isn't enough of a reason to justify him being in the episode ads while yes it does give Toby someone to talk to in the episode it also makes you wonder why he doesn't get help for Toby the first chance that he can.

Seeing Toby's more frustrated side was something that was refreshing to see as for alot of the CGI series we only see the side of him that's two old with his old sarcastic side and his brave side very rarely if ever coming out. Yet in this episode we get to see a side of him that was fun to see with that being him just constantly getting frustrated with Reg something which is fun to see as Toby doesn't really come across as the kind of character who would get frustrated with someone as if anything that would be someone like Percy or Gordon for example as they very quick t anger if you say or do something that might upset but Toby never really gets annoyed with anyone with really the only time that Toby might get annoyed with someone being in the season 20 episode "Toby's New Friend" where Phillip follows him around thinking that Toby is just like him with the fact that he does get frustrated in this episode being something that does make you wonder why we've never really seen this side of him as we know he can be brave and sarcastic but seeing him get frustrated with someone is something that would allow for more fun and funny scenes with different characters as now we have a whole other side to his personality that could be used for some really good stories and could be used for some really good character interactions as well like it would be interesting to see him get frustrated with characters like Gordon or Emily as it's in there nature to have these big egos something which could quite easily clash with Toby's more down to earth way of doing things just like it would be interesting to see someone calm him down a bit when he gets a bit to frustrated like why not have Trevor The Tractor have a chat with him like he did with Thomas back when they first met or why not have him talk with Bertie as both of those characters can calm other engines down quite easily.

Now then this episode has / had an exact grand total running time of exactly eight minuets and forty six seconds. This is something that's pretty much the bogstandard running time for this show with the show actually getting more screen time over the years with this episode having the right amount of plot there to really cover that amount of running time and yet in saying this tho this episode really doesn't use it's running time all that wisely as the episode really doesn't take the time to fully develop it's plot as the episode is more focused on having things happen for non reason then it is on fully developing it's plot as there's no reason why Toby couldn't get his coal and there's no reason why he or Reg couldn't yell out of the other engines and there's no reason why those engines couldn't just stop and talk to him all of which are things that could have been talked about and made more clear if the plot of the episode was more developed with this even affecting the episodes character development as while it could be argued that the characters get there development in other episodes which would be a fair point to make as all of this episodes characters do appear in other episodes of the show and therefor they don't really need to have character development in every single episode it still would have been nice for the characters to get some sort of character development as then it would have shown that the characters are more then willing to grow with the extra running time that alot of these episodes did have and yet for one reason or another the makers of this episode chose not to give the characters any form of character development but I really will admit that this episode really does have some really good pacing to it tho.

So now then as this is a comedy that really does mean that I have to actually talk about the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode well then in all honesty I in all honesty personally thought / felt that the actual comedy that's actually featured / presented to us in this very episode was in all honesty not that bad. With the episode having some decent jokes in like Toby forgetting to go and get his side plates mended at the end of the episode to even him forgetting to get coal something which could be argued is a joke with even alot of the scenes that Toby has with Reg having some decently funny jokes in them with the best joke in the episode being when Reg lifts up a car to wave to catch the attention of other engines only for him to drop it and end scaring Henry away because of it something which does work as Henry is meant to be the character that is more often then not the one that's most afraid of anything and everything with it also showing just how smart that Reg is as it's him that comes up with the idea to wave something colorful to catch the other engines attention it's just not something that does work out all that well for all involved with alot of this episodes bein g cute and funny jokes that will make little kids smile which given that this is aimed at little kids is something that does make sense as all of the episodes jokes do have to appeal to them and to be fair that's where this episode does shine as they will find all of the jokes in this episode to be really funny it's just that it would have helped the episode out quite alot if the episode did have some more outwardly funny moments in it as Reg can be a really funny character when he's given funny things to say and do in my freaking opinions anyways / at least.

Overall this is a decent episode that does give us a new side to Toby with it showing us that the makers of this show are more then willing to create good stories with this show again something which we do see quite alot more in the CGI era of this show with this episode being a prime example pf that in my freaking opinions anyways / at least. Now then i've talked about all of the good and as well as all of the bad thigs that are in this very episode in this very review and as such that really does mean that this very episode really does earn itself a grand old score of exactly a 6.5 out of 10 from me.

Now then as for where I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review well then boys and girls and as well as ladies and gentlemen I personally got all of the images that I personally used in this very review from Amazon .
